Rana was absolutely incredible from start to finish! We met years ago and I just knew I had to have her for my big day. She made the whole process seamless and simple and she even took a boat to get to my remote location! My husband and I and my entire family were blown away with how beautiful our pictures turned out. We loved every minute we spent with Rana, hard not to with how sweet she is!

Rana was absolutely perfect for our wedding. Her knowledge of lighting, angles, scenery, etc was perfect. My wife and I got confused about the location for engagement photos, so Rana made a last minute decision to shoot it somewhere else and like magic they turned out looking like something you'd find in a magazine. We would recommend her for any type of photography work

We had an amazing time working with Rana! We planned our Florida wedding from across the country in California so we weren’t able to meet with Rana before our engagement session, but after our initial phone call with her we were sure she would do an amazing job with our wedding. We’d never taken any professional photos before, but Rana made the process so easy and gave us excellent direction both during our engagement session and wedding first look. We felt so relaxed and confident that she’d get great pictures that we could focus completely on each other, our day and our guests. Rana is a rock star wedding photographer and we are in love with all the photos from our wedding!

When I set out to plan a Florida wedding from Minneapolis, I relied a lot on social media (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram) to help me find vendors. Finding a photographer that suited my husband and I was probably the most difficult task because you do have to work with him or her fairly intimately. When I saw Rana's work, pictures of my childhood friends at their weddings, I fell in love with how she was able to capture their love and personalities in a natural and effortless way. I immediately set up a face-to-face consult when we visited Florida, and my husband and I were so in love with her and her work. She also helped me find my hair and make-up (Lasting Luxe) & videographer (Ian with Movie Magic Productions). It's a true testament to Rana (and the others) that they were able to work so well together throughout the entire day. We flew back down to Florida to take advantage of the engagement photos included in our package, and thank goodness we did. They are the most beautiful photos of Adam & I in some of my favorite places of my hometown, and that exercise really made us (two really awkward people) feel so comfortable with Rana and in front of the camera. On our wedding day (and leading up to the wedding), Rana truly acted as a wedding coordinator -- making sure everyone was on time and where they needed to be. That helped calm my type A personality immensely, knowing that someone was watching and maintaining a timeline. She is a huge reason our wedding went off without a hitch!! And finally, I would just like to say that we are so thankful Rana agreed to be a part of our special day, as we were her first shoot after she had her second beautiful baby boy, Cameron. She photographed our wedding less than a month after having him, and we will be forever grateful for her making that sacrifice for us. We've made a lifelong friend and know exactly who we're calling when it's time for family photos in a few years!!

My husband came across Roohi Photography while searching online for engagement/wedding photographers in the Tampa area, & I'm SO glad he found Rana! The first time we met Rana was in her studio, and she was so personable and sweet. Rana was genuinely interested in learning how my then finance & I had met. She truly wanted to get to know us, not to mention she had macaroons waiting for us :) Not only was her quality of work simply amazing, but it was very clear that she is so passionate & absolutely loves what she does! Rana is a great listener and will go above and beyond for her clients. She did our engagement photos & our wedding photos, and we love how they all turned out! I would highly recommend Rana to anyone in need of a professional, creative, passionate, and talented photographer! I could not be happier with the wedding photos that Rana and her assistant captured of my wedding day! My husband and I are very relaxed and love to laugh which shines through in our pictures. We has the most relaxed sessions with plenty of time to rest in between the first look (recommended by Rana and SO glad we did it! The most amazing pictures came out of it!) and the actual ceremony. The pictures of both the men and my bridal party getting ready are superb. The guys were playing with some of the props set up around the barn where our reception was and I still belly laugh every time i see them. It was so important to me that my husband be relaxed as he does not like having his picture taken and at the end of the night he could not stop talking about how taking the pictures was fun and that he couldn't wait to see the end result. It is worth every penny spent to have these memories captured for myself and future generations to look back on. I can not wait for Rana to capture the next adventure that our marriage takes us on! She will be a part of all of our photographic memories.

Love is an understatement! I learned about Rana's great work through a vendor friend of mine (Michele with Lasting Luxe) and another friend who used her to capture her engagement session and wedding. The moment I saw Rana's work, I knew I needed her to capture my wedding story as well. The attention to detail is amazing and she treats you as a friend more than she does a client. Rana is truly a gem! From the second I met her I knew she was the perfect person to capture the love that my now husband and I share. Her photos speak for themselves- she has such an amazing gift and is so talented. She thinks outside the box and captures shots of the most important moments. Her photos truly tell a story. Looking back at our engagement photos and now at our wedding photos, my husband and I remember exactly how we felt in the moments that we shared.
Aside from her talent, Rana has THE most amazing personality. She makes you feel beautiful and comfortable, and is amazing at giving ideas and guiding you through your shoot. Rana did such an amazing job at our wedding. We are very lucky and thankful to have found her to capture our big day. She goes above and beyond to make sure your day is absolutely perfect. She gets to know you and takes great interest in the details of your wedding, Rana and I swapped emails back and forth months before the wedding, so she could make sure everything was just right. This continued up until the wedding. She even took time to get to know us by doing a mini engagement shoot. The details she picks up on shine through all of her photos. She is energetic, funny, sweet, makes the experience so fun, and can make EVERYONE feel comfortable and natural. The pictures were absolutely stunning and she captured every moment imaginable. She was very easy to work with and had great suggestions. She showed up very early to set up and made sure everything was perfect. I had been referred to Rana by Megan and Bennett whose wedding photos were absolutely stunning. When Mickey and I first met her at her studio, we loved her instantly. She's friendly, funny and you know as soon as you meet with her that she will do whatever she can to capture your day exactly how you always dreamed. When she did our engagement shoot, I could tell Mickey was a little nervous/camera shy, but Rana made us feel comfortable and the photos came out beautifully. Throughout the planning, Rana was prompt and so thoughtful - I truly made a friend in my wedding photographer. She was able to capture our wedding day in a way that I never thought was possible. She'll tell you that it was because of the weather and the backdrop that made it perfect - I say it was her talent and creativity! What sets Roohi Photography apart (and what made me excited to have them as our wedding photographers) is Rana and team go out of their way to build a relationship with the bride and groom, to ensure they capture the essence of the couple and all of the special moments. She interviewed me and my husband, making sure she knew what was important to us, had the full lineup of everyone in the party, a detailed timeline, detail shots planned out in advance and the photography team traveled to the hotel, to the venue (where I got dressed), the Church and reception.

My twin sister's wedding was two years before mine and she used Roohi Photography. Seeing the quality of her photos and just how amazing every photograph was, I knew that I wanted to work with Rana for my wedding...and I am so glad I did! To know that no matter what, I would have great photos of our special day to reflect back on for years to come, was such a relief and great feeling. Rana is amazing and I would highly recommend her! Our wedding pictures are absolutely flawless. She is very flexible, easy going, and answers any and all questions you have. My husband does not like pictures at all but she made us feel so comfortable and he looks photogenic in all of them. As we look through the pictures trying to decide which ones we would like in our album we are having such a hard time deciding what we want. They are such great quality and everyone of them really captured a moment in time. I will definitely be using Rana again in the future!

I have been following roohi photography for a couple of years now and when I finally set my wedding date, I was so upset to find out that she was already booked! Based on the quality of her work, style and responsiveness, I even attempted to change my wedding date so that she could be my photographer. Even though the date didn't work, Rana continued to follow-up with me to see if she could help refer me to those in her network, to make sure I had a good photographer for my wedding day. She even provided me with feedback on contracts I looked at and suggested questions I should ask. I think it's extremely rare to find someone that willing to help, especially when I wasn't able to book her. She is great and her work is fabulous!

Rana is amazing! I am so glad I decided to go with her for my wedding! I initially found Rana through pictures I had seen through a friend of a friend and i fell in love with her work, it is amazing. I decided to use her for my engagement photos and absolutely loved them and chose her for my wedding also. Rana went above and beyond the photographer role. We began searching for photographers immediately after getting engaged, as we knew that this would be potentially the most important part of our wedding planning. We were instantly drawn to Rana's amazing photography. Upon meeting her, I knew that she would be the one to photograph our wedding. She is not only insanely talented, but also such a warm spirit. She was hired on the spot. Upon arriving to our Engagement shoot, the picture taking jitters that my fiance and I had, went out the window. My fiance was meeting her for the first time at our E-shoot and was just going off of my "Rana Raving", (a term I have now coined when talking about her to friends). But within the first minute of meeting her, he was just as in love with Rana as I was. She captured our personalities perfectly and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. Over the course of our planning, we became close to Rana as she kept in touch with us the entire time. She paid close attention to us and all the important details of our special time. The day of our wedding, we felt Rana was more of a dear friend photographing our day rather than a photographer we just hired.

This review is more in describing her as a sweet person who has an eye for detail. I feel like her work more than speaks for itself. We are so blessed to have found Rana, and are beyond happy with our photos that we will be able to share for a lifetime.

Rana is truly amazing! When my fiancé and I first got engaged and I started looking at different photographers' work, I was immediately drawn to Rana's style and her gift for capturing priceless moments. We had our engagement session in late July with Rana, and she did such an amazing job with making us feel comfortable and at ease! We are not photogenic and we didn't want staged-type photos...well let me tell you, our engagement session photos are AMAZING! My fiancé never likes any pictures of himself, and there were so many he loved! She did such a wonderful job of capturing little smiles and big laughs that were just us being ourselves. Rana worked with our budget and she is detail oriented! In addition, she also provided us with great recommendations on other vendors: makeup, planner/coordinator, flowers, etc. She is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer that you will instantly bond with, does an unparalleled job at capturing one of a kind moments and and puts you totally at ease!!!

Rana is an extremely creative photographer; her pictures literally tell stories. She is a true professional. She understands the institution of marriage and believes in love. She's like Wonder Woman with a camera. Aside from all the obvious, Rana is an even greater person. You can see her passion bleed through her pictures. She wants your wedding day to be as special as you do. She wants you to look at your wedding pictures 100 years from now and still feel the emotions you had from that day. My wife and I met with several other photographers and never felt the level of comfort we did with Rana. We mostly got the, "I've been doing this for a million years," or "I'm the best in this area, just look at all my awards," or "I'm going to need an arm and a leg up front before I even show you what I can do" spiel. Just speaking with her briefly made us feel like we were talking with an old friend that we hadn't spoken to in years. In this day and age, working with someone who listens to your vision, respects who you are, and delivers at the same time is a rarity. Hiring Rana to shoot our wedding gave us a story of our wedding day through pictures. It gave us a bottle of emotions we can open up and look at for forever. It made the most important day of our lives, even more special than we could have ever imagined. If these are things you don't care about, then I wouldn't hire her. But if you slightly care about any of those things, then you'd be a fool to not at the very least consider her. She'll knock your socks off :)

My fiance and I recently did an engagement session with Roohi Photography. The photographer Rana was extremely professional, yet she made us feel very comfortable, as if we were just hanging out with a friend. She gave us a questionnaire to fill out, then created a custom shoot for us that included the things we love. Our theme is Old Hollywood, and she even managed to get us three early 1950s cars to shoot with. We got to see a sneak peek within a few days, and the pictures were available to order in only a couple of weeks. They are gorgeous! I would definitely recommend Rana to any bride looking for fun but elegant pictures with a photographer she can trust and feel comfortable with.

Choosing Roohi Photography for our wedding and day after photo shoot was the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning process! Roohi Photography was recommended to us by our florist; and after reviewing their portfolio, I couldn't wait to reach out to them. From the moment I sent the first e-mail, they were so responsive and kind. Most importantly, they were detail oriented and proactive. They made sure to meet with us in person to learn who we were as a couple and our desires for our wedding photography (and even showed up with a cute gift for us!). They also drove 2 hours from their offices to conduct our "day after" photography shoot at the location of our choice. Although my husband and I don't consider ourselves the most photogenic couple; it didn't matter - because Roohi Photography produced AMAZING photos! I wanted to make sure to choose a vendor that would produce photos that were pieces of art for our walls - and that is exactly what we received. One of the most important lessons I read from other brides before choosing a vendor for photography was "you get what you pay for" - and that certainly is the case with Roohi Photography. I'm so happy with our investment and looking forward to working with them in the future for our anniversaries and family photos.

It is really, really difficult to find the right photographer. If you are like me, you probably looked and looked for hours on end online to find the right photographer whose photos were both artistic with interesting poses and snapshots of still items like the cake in a creative manner, and were also well thought-out. I was referred to Rana of Roohi Photography by the wedding florist. I had actually been initially looking for a male photographer because I thought I was already going to be surrounded by women that day to get ready, a male would be easy-going and I wouldn't have to "worry" about creating additional stress if I needed to make special requests throughout the night for photos. As soon as I met Rana, I knew that would not be an issue! She was sweet, genuine, kind, professional and also, laid-back. Her portfolio was beautiful and you could tell she had a true eye for the art of photography. I did not have to stress on my day. She caught all the photos on my list, and even some more I did not think about. No direction was needed at all - PHEW!! She even brought along an intern to assist with snapping all the necessary photos, especially during the day when my groom and I were in different places getting ready. Finally, I was shocked by the gorgeous presentation of the photos after they were ready! She provided them in a gorgeous keep-sake CD case and I cannot wait to frame many of these stunning photos. Highly recommend!!!!

More than beautiful photography! Rana clearly has a passion for people and an ability to capture the essence of what makes each of us great. This skill translates perfectly to handling the inevitable kinks, foibles, and personalities of a wedding day, which she does beautifully. Professional and personalized, the natural feeling of her photographs also exhibit a magazine-like quality that left my family and friends very impressed. I definitely recommend her and her crew to capture your memories!

A picture can be worth a thousand words but a great wedding photo can be worth a million! Choosing the right photographer to capture your day can be one of the most important and stressful decisions you make during the whole planning process. Rana from Roohi Photography will live up to all your expectations and go above and beyond. For any bride that is looking for photos that exceed just the traditional portraits Rana is the way to go. She has a wonderful eye and attention to detail and is able to capture the smallest moments and situations that will make your day even more memorable for years to come. One of the things that blew us away about Rana was her passion for her job and her dedication to make the day very memorable. After the day is over (and its over so fast!) the only things you will have to remember it besides your memory are the pictures! My husband and I are not so comfortable in front of cameras but Rana worked with us to get us to relax and enjoy the process. As a result we have a collection of beautiful photos that we will cherish for years and years to come. Rana was professional, involved and always accessible! We felt that we recieved an incredible value for the level of services she provided and would recommend her to everyone! If you are looking for beautiful, intimate photos with a vintage and whimsical feel that Rana is your girl! 5 stars arent enough!!!!

Rana is an AMAZING photographer! We worked together on Hilton Garden Inn Tampa/Westshore's first styled shoot. Rana is very easy to work with and exceeded our expectations. She is very flexible and has the innate ability to capture the most beautiful photos. I would recommend her to any bride! We were very fortunate to work with her on this project.

Rana with Roohi Photography is an amazing photographer who was with me and my husband every step of the way... we met her to do our engagement photos and communicated with her over the course of 9 months until our wedding date. She kept us calm and happy throughout the big day. She makes you feel comfortable, gets to know you, and you are guaranteed to have gorgeous and artistic photos that people will ooh and ahh over. We literally look at her images daily! Rana is easy to work with, and is very creative. We plan to use her for many more events in the future.

Rana is absolutely fabulous! There are not enough positive words to describe Rana and her outstanding work. Rana has a sweet caring soul who will bend over backwards to please her clients. After knowing Rana for several years and working with her for our engagement photos, we knew we hired the BEST for our wedding.

Rana was able to captured the love and emotion of our wedding day. She captured the expressions of our guest during the ceremony, to those special personal moments with my husband. She has left us with an incredible keepsake of the most important day of our lives. We look at our wedding pictures often and get those warm and fuzzy feelings all over again!

Rana went out of her way to make sure our day would be perfect; from having us fill out a questionnaire about specific photos we wanted to being a calming force in the room when I was a nervous wreck getting ready. Rana made us feel comfortable.

We have received numerous compliments from our family and friends. We HIGHLY recommend Roohi photography to everyone in the Tampa Bay area. Her work has far exceeded our expectations and is worth the investment for something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We are so happy that she has found her passion in photography. Amazing!!! Let me start by saying, David and I seem to have very high expectations and standards in all aspects of our lives! Rana exceeded those expectations! She is very talented, professional yet down to earth and friendly. She is also very detail oriented and takes great pride in her work which shows in her preparation and getting to know each individual prior to the event which really stood out and meant a lot to us. She wasn't just there to make a buck, she puts hard work into the entire process! Amazing photos and a wonderful experience! Working with Rana (Roohi Photography) was such an amazing experience.

She was on top of EVERYTHING and you could tell she truly had a passion for this which made me even more trilled with my choice to pick her for our BIG DAY.

She listened to what we wanted and worked very well with our family and CRAZY wedding party.

Rana from Roohi Photography did our engagement photos which we used throughout our entire wedding! She made us feel so comfortable, got to know us as a couple before we even met so that she could set the right surroundings for our shoot, and has such an eye for what she does. She is passionate and puts so much work in to the photos. It pained me that we had already booked another photographer for our wedding, looking back we wished we had used Roohi! Rana gave me a great idea to do a Bridal shoot to capture some of the moments I had missed from the wedding- what an amazing idea. I felt like a bride again after months of being married.

Rana of Roohi Photography is just fantastic to work with! We were very new to the whole wedding photography business and found Rana's great work online. After reading her website, we thought it would be good to meet her in person the next time we visited Florida. When we met her, we could sense her enthusiasm and love for her work. She radiated energy, which worked well with our personalities.

We communicated with her via email as we worked out the contract details and she was very responsive and answered all of our questions, which were many! We wanted to be sure since we were willing to invest a large chunk of our budget on photography. Rana understood this as she was getting married soon herself and was very excited to be a part of our day. We met up with her a few months before to do an engagement shoot and it was awesome! It just felt natural and really fun to be around her and we knew we had selected the right person. Everyone has loved our engagement and wedding photos and we can't wait to get the whole package back as these will be one of our life's treasures.

Rana comes highly recommended and was worth every penny!

Our experience with Rana at Roohi Photography was incredible. Meeting with her the first time to discuss our style and wishes, was effortless, as she perfectly understood. She also used her experience to add fantastic tips. Our wedding was a little unique, as she was due to have her baby the same time as our wedding, and therefore contracted two other photographers in to do the actual shoot on wedding day. They were fantastic and we also loved them. Rana followed up with the editing and the photos turned out great. Due to our time prior to the wedding spent with Rana and she not being the one there to shoot on wedding day, we missed a few shots we would have liked to have, and as a result, Rana graciously is following up with an additional shoot to get some of the portraits we missed out on wedding day. In short, Rana is fantastic to work with and is extremely detailed, timely on responses, creative, trendy, and professional. We love working with her.

I hired Rana from Roohi Photography to shoot my engagement photos on the recommendation of a photographer friend of mine. Her whimsical-yet-"real" style was perfect for what I was looking for for our save-the-dates, and her positive, playful attitude was enough to get even my somewhat shy fiance to come out of his shell and have fun during the shoot.

I would recommend Roohi to anybody looking to get what they pay for with some amazing, professional photos!

Being a photographer myself I am very particular in the style photography and photographer I hire. After a pretty long search, I found Rana with Roohi Photography. She was a perfect match, I loved her soft and romantic style of photography. She was very quick in responding and she was always so sweet. She made sure to capture the moments and photos we wanted and had great ideas too. My wedding was picture perfect, just as I imagined and the photos Roohi photography took are just so beautiful, they eternalize that special day so every time I look at them I able relive those amazing moments.
