Roni and David are just the best. They are as skilled as they are kind and thoughtful of their craft and their clients. Our photos are specular and there is no one else I could have imagined working with. Both of them move so easily and unnoticed throughout the day, that you can stay in the moment while they capture true joy and happiness - unfiltered. -

When I was looking for a photographer for our wedding I was overwhelmed with how many to choose from. The styles we saw were not what we wanted. To bright, to posey, to fake. We came across Roni Rose Photography and we fell in love with the portfolio pictures. The communication between us & Roni was fantastic, and when I finally met them on the wedding day it was so relaxed, like hanging out with friends. David & Roni were fantastic and the photos turned out fantastic. We literally ran out of time and didn't get a chance to go to all the garden spots I wanted to hit.
So Josh & I have already discussed that for our 1 year anniversary we will be reaching out to them again :)
If you're looking for down to earth people who make wonderful art, this is your couple. -

Roni + David are AMAZING
Roni and David are absolutely incredible. They shot our engagement photos and wedding photos and captured so many awesome moments. They both have such a cool and unique vision, and honestly they just added such joyful and supportive vibes on the day of. If you want photos that will not only capture the beauty of your wedding day but the FEELING of it - this is your duo. Can not sing praises high enough for Roni Rose Photography!!! -

Captured our Wedding Genuinely and Perfectly!
Roni and David were EXACTLY the right people to capture our wedding day. They captured the important moments and our portraits beautifully and artistically but they also picked up on a lot of details we didn't even mention. Most importantly, they told the story of our wedding through photos. We wanted coverage of more than just the two of us, with focus on the energy and experience of our wedding and they exceeded our expectations. We have looked through our gallery many times over the past week and each time are excited to find another authentic moment from the night. We are so grateful to have found them and will absolutely be our go-to should we be in need of a photographer for any occasion in the future. -

We hired Roni and her husband David in 2019 or 2020 for our September 18, 2021 wedding. They were incredible and honestly one of the best parts of our day! If you are looking for real art in your wedding photos and a photography team that just fits into your day and with your family and friends perfectly, look no further. Roni's attention to detail is stunning and she is willing to risk it all (knowing that she is prone to falling!) for that special shot. We loved having her and David as part of the day. Do yourself a favor and book them! -

We’re obsessed
From engagement photos until the big day, Roni and David made sure we were comfortable and somehow managed to perfectly capture every special moment. No weird staged photos, just photos that felt like us. I was really being picky about photographers as I’m not a huge fan of “live, laugh, love” photography, and when I happened on Roni Rose I knew that I’d get exactly what I was looking for. Currently looking for excuses to hire them again. -

Roni and David are two of the most delightful, creative people to ever walk the planet and will do three things that set them apart from every photographer around: 1) They will weave themselves seamlessly throughout your wedding day like a pair of old friends. Your family will ask about them later because they were so sweet and enjoyable and super helpful. My dad even took a photo of them on his phone and asked me to send it to them. This is just who they are, and it's such a relief to have one less thing to worry about on your wedding day — actually, Roni and David will probably give you two less things to worry about, because that's just how great they are. 2) Their photos will tell your story through the eyes you wish you'd had on your wedding day. It's so difficult to relax and take it all in, but Roni and David make it seem as though you'd achieved the level of presence we all strive for. They'll capture every detail you hand picked 8 months ago but forgot to check out on the day. They will document all the little moments that were going on around you that you were too distracted or caught up in conversation or focused on getting a little food in your face to notice. It's a beautiful thing to sit on the sofa with the love of your life and relive your wedding day in such a gorgeous, meaningful way. And then do it again and again until you realize you've actually made a hobby of flipping through your wedding photos. 3) Style. Some people have it, most don't. Roni and David have it in spades. I'll end here because I could go on. Tldr; Roni and David are it. -

Roni and David were an amazing team! We could not have ever even imagined anything better. We were blown away by the photos they took and we love them so much! They captured autumn in Chicago vibes perfectly! We got so many compliments on how gorgeous the photos were from everyone we shared them with. Roni and David were so accomodating when my husband and I postponed our larger wedding celebration and opted for a small 15 person ceremony and brunch this year. We initially booked with Roni Rose because we loved the wonderfully candid and honest style of photos and thought we would prefer it to the typical hours of posed/arranged portraits. While we can't wait to have them photograph our party next year, they were the best photographers we could have wished for our intimate celebration this year. They perfectly fit in and captured the emotion and small moments of our outdoor park ceremony. They made the day so easy and fun, and their photos are breathtaking. We cannot wait to share our photos with everyone who couldn't be there with us, and to have them capture our reception next year!! -

Roni Rose was amazing to work with, she was responsive and flexible as our plans changed due to the coronavirus. She was professional yet fun and so fast! We received our edited photos in 3 days!! She asked what we were hoping to get out of the photos but used her eye and creativity to make them distinctly hers, which is what we wanted as we love her work. I can't say enough great things about her and her partner, we are hoping to hire them again for part 2 of our wedding next year. The photos are absolutely stunning, I am in love with them!! -

Roni and David are amazing. They were recommended by our wedding planner Grace from Lionhearted Events. These guys were so much fun to have around on the day and made taking pictures super easy. I usually find it awkward to get pictures taken of myself but with these two is was a laugh and we got the most amazing pictures out of it. Also Roni sent us the gallery after only two weeks!
I don't have to mention that it's really helpful to have two photographers around on your wedding day - they coordinated the first look, David was scouting the perfect location with my husband while Roni was getting me to the wedding venue without being seen by them.
Overall great experience, great pictures (I can't stop looking at them), we can only recommend Roni Rose Photography! -

I don't know where to begin with how amazing Roni & David were. They were so incredibly talented, intuitive, adorable, creative, and kind. They felt just as much as part of our wedding day as anyone else, and I couldn't have been happier that they captured everything. Can't recommend them enough, some of the nicest people I have ever met, and I tear up every time I see any of our photos.
Oh, and I loved how much they dove head first into the day – They left extra early because of some bad weather, were willing to dig a path through the snow so we could do outside photos, and even tried to move a cow skeleton just for a cool shot. I keep laughing thinking about how much fun they made the day, it would have been such a different experience had they not been a part of it. -

It’s always such a pleasure meeting people who are so passionate about what they do. The energy Roni and David have is so contagious and they are one of the most genuine, extremely sweet, and talented people I have ever met. We had them take our engagement shoot and cover our 2 day Indian - Chinese multi-cultural wedding! For our engagement shoot, we literally went every where in the city and I have never had so much fun taking photos. They have such an unique eye and every photo really tells a story. Every time I look at our photos, I go back in time re-living every single moment. Thank you Roni and David for making us feel so special and capturing our day so perfectly!! -

I can't say enough wonderful things about them as people, and as professional photographers. Her and her husband, David, are incredibly talented photographers, and captured our special day perfectly.
Each photo is taken with care, and the way they edit their photos are beautiful, off-beat, and unique. I am in love with our wedding album. Each photo captures everyone's emotions so candidly and genuinely. It's been wonderful to relive our special day through the amazing photos.
We loved working with Roni and Dave, and can't wait to work with them again someday soon! -

Charmagne Sent on 10/25/2017Roni Rose and David were truly amazing!!! The engagement shots were super and the early sneak peek shots of the wedding were spectacular! I was looking for an artist with a unique eye, funky, expressive style and not just a photographer. They were better than perfect. I saw my city, my home, my family and the venue in a new light through their lenses. No posed shots, really easy to work with; on time and well prepared.
Also, a great value. I didn’t need a photo album or any pre-priced printed shot package. I prefer to print my own, and they encourage this by giving me the finished files.
They helped make it a perfect and special night! I’d recommend them to anyone! -

Roni and David photographed our September wedding and we could not be happier we chose them to document our big day. They have such a unique and personal style to their work; they are not your typical wedding photographers and their photos are not your typical wedding photos. They create art through cool and unusual angles, framing and movement. They both have an extraordinary eye for composition and light. We loved this about them from the first time we viewed their website. In addition to this very striking aesthetic, they captured all the love and emotions of our wedding day in such a genuine way. It was so fun to view our gallery and get to see those moments and the emotions we missed on the actual day. My husband and I hate having our photos taken, but Roni and David made it super fun and not posed at all. On top of their unique style and talent, they are just a joy to be around. If we ever have an occasion for professional photography again, Roni and David would without a doubt be our first choice!
