Ron is the best!

We are so happy we chose Ron as our DJ for our wedding! Right from the start he was organized, responsive and experienced. He made planning a breeze and we could count on him every step of the way. On wedding day he was fun, energetic, and made sure we knew he was there for us and whatever we wanted all night long! The dance floor was a blast - we had several guests out there who said they usually never dance at weddings, and it was all thanks to Ron!

9/21/25 Wedding - Ron Was AMAZING

Ron was amazing from start to finish. He helped us with planning, gave us some very good pointers, and came prepared with so many tips and tricks for everybody involved. He really helped make our special day go so smoothly. At our wedding we got so many compliments on the dance floor and the vibe. Ron catered to all guests with the music and we can say there was not a single point in the night where the dance floor died down. It was a highlight for so many folks on how much fun the dance floor was. Ron was the perfect DJ to hire for our wedding and we absolutely recommend him!

Absolutely Amazing! Work with Ron!

Ron was both an excellent officiant and DJ for our wedding in early October. We met him at the Estes Park Wedding show last year and he was personable from that moment on. He took the time to meet with us repeatedly throughout the year, was quick to respond to questions, and helped us troubleshoot a very complicated sand blending ceremony. He blended our love stories together so sweetly that it had so many people, including us, crying happy tears. The music was phenomenal and the layout of the entire wedding went off so smoothly. Ron had everyone on the dance floor and had 70+ people dancing all night long until the venue closed. Such an incredible experience and he did an incredible job. I highly recommend working with Ron for his officiant and DJ services. We also received so many compliments from our guests about him! Thank you Ron!

Perfect wedding!

My husband and I hired Ron to officiate our wedding and it was the best decision! You can tell Ron is very experienced because the communication was fantastic and he really helped us to create a beautiful ceremony that flowed nicely. We could not have asked for a better wedding ceremony!

Best DJ Ever!

Ron was the best DJ ever! From the moment we met him, he was kind, knowledgeable, and helped us feel at ease with wedding planning. He had a ton of experience at our venue and with our other vendors, which made all things music go seamlessly. He set up speakers for the ceremony, brought microphones and a lapel mic for our officiant, and still managed to play great music as we moved from cocktail hour to dancing at the reception. Prior to the wedding, he reached out to our maid of honor, best man, and father of the bride with tips about writing toasts, and also helped our officiant with her ceremony script, which she shared was super helpful. During the reception, he was the perfect emcee of dinnertime trivia for our guests, and really read the crowd at all times. We have since heard from numerous guests of various ages that his reception music was AWESOME, and we agree—we had asked to keep the energy up for dancing, and he answered with banger after banger; one of our guests said she kept wanting to take a break, and yet could not leave the dance floor because she loved all of the song choices so much! There was a perfect mix of song genres for all guests and from all over the United States, and Ron listened to our goals for the reception from Day 1 with warmth and openness. We would HIGHLY recommend his services to everyone, and hope our paths cross again on a dance floor in Colorado some day!

Fantastic DJ for a Backyard Wedding

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Ron! From the very start he was extremely responsive and organized. He has thought through every aspect of the planning process and gave us helpful details about his service options as well as tips for the day of. His music taste was impeccable and he read the crowd well throughout the night mixing up the music with romantic slow songs and energetic classics. He paired really well with our wedding coordinator and was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him for any wedding! You will not regret it!

We love Ron!!!!

We had no idea where to even start with finding a DJ, but we came across Ron and went with him because of his good reviews and reputation, and because he was friendly, organized, experienced, and professional!
His advice and questionnaire actually helped us plan our wedding as it brought up several aspects of important things we hadn’t thought about! Ron went out of his way to attend our rehearsal the night before our wedding to iron out and practice final details and to get to know all of us! We didn’t have to worry about timing during our day because Ron made sure to prompt all of our guests and us to stay on our planned timeline!! He played great music and lead several fun things like an anniversary dance, the shoe game, and the bouquet and garter toss! He is also so nice and friendly, and very easy to talk to! Thank you for making our wedding so much fun Ron!!!

Ron is the man.

From the moment we met Ron until the last dance, he was incredibly respectful and responsive. We enlisted his services as both our officiant and DJ and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. He masterfully spun our love story, helped with our personal vows, and offered advice on aspects of our ceremony to make it as smooth and meaningful as it could be. As a DJ he made sure the right songs were played at the right time, directed speeches and dances, and kept the floor alive! Ron is a perfect example of what happens when everything goes right. The transitions were so smooth it was easy to forget he was even there until our favorite songs came on! Between the several vendors we worked with, Ron was the most reliable and communicative. Planning a wedding is stressful and he was there every step of the way to keep us cool through the whole process. Stop reading and book him, it’ll be one of your best decisions.

All around amazing

We are so lucky we found Ron! Both my husband and I were very particular about certain things we wanted from a DJ -- right volume of music during cocktail hour and dinner, making relevant announcements, and playing decent music that would actually make people want to dance. Seems straightforward, but we've been to several weddings recently that didn't check any of those boxes! From day 1, Ron was communicative, organized (which meant we knew what to expect day of), flexible/accommodating, reassuring/positive and just plain nice. His planning docs helped us stay organized and ensured we were all on the same page.
He came to our rehearsal the day before to introduce himself and get a lay of the land. Day of, he was a friendly and reassuring face (especially when the rain was threatening to move our ceremony inside). As for the boxes we wanted checked off -- volume was perfect throughout the night (no need to scream at your neighbor during dinner to be heard!), he made all announcements we asked for and made some other helpful ones, and his music choices were a perfect mix for everyone. Everything transitioned seamlessly. We had several guests comment on how great he was, including my dad who doesn't hand out compliments to just anyone! All I can say is, hire Ron -- he is a great human and a wonderful DJ! He is the one vendor you won't have to stress about at all!

Best DJ Ever!!!!!

My Husband and I loved working with Ron as our DJ! He was so helpful during the planning process and was amazing on the big day! We wanted to play a prank on our guests and Ron was 100% supportive of this plan and thought it was hilarious! He has a great sense of humor and loved making sure everyone was on their feet dancing! Perfect Night, Thanks To RON!

My wife and I had the perfect wedding. Perfect weather, great food, everyone was in a good mood and of course, we had killer tunes to groove to. Ron was a huge part of that perfect evening. He helped our toasters with tips, played great dancing music all night long, and even helped the venue coordinate our massive bridal party at rehearsal. Before the wedding, we had multiple meetings with him. He was always professional, and not afraid to let us know if certain music would be a bad play or not (I am a metal head and no metal was played at our wedding). My point is that he was always there for us, and with his many years of experience made great recommendations for the night. There are not enough great things we can say bout Ron. Thank you sir for the wonderful evening!

Best Wedding DJ EVER!!!!

Ron was an absolutely incredible dj for our wedding! He was so communicative and organized in the weeks leading up to big day, easy to contact and fast to respond, and always available. Ron did an amazing job at our wedding atop A-Basin Ski Resort. From the ceremony music and cocktail hour songs, to the bridal party introductions, toasts, and first dances, we couldn't have asked for a better dj! Ron did an outstanding job reading the crowd and playing the best songs to keep the party going, along with the few 'must-play' songs we suggested. It was a truly incredible day and we have Ron to thank for giving us the time of our lives. I absolutely recommend Ron for any of your dj needs!

Exactly what we hoped for!

From the very first call with Ron, we were confident he was going to deliver exactly what we were hoping for. He's incredibly professional and personable, and comes to the table with ideas, checklists, and suggestions to make sure everything goes well. I can't recommend his game/activity suggestions enough. The anniversary dance and shoe game sounded silly when I first heard them, but people raved about how sweet and fun both of them were.

Overall Ron is just a great DJ that will deliver exactly what you need, stress free.

A must hire!

Ron was fantastic from the start. I was NOT an organized bride and he provided so much guidance and organization for us. He made appropriate suggestions and was in communication with the rest of my wedding party, the venue, caterers etc. He really went above and beyond his role as the DJ/MC. Exceptional service

Ron made our wedding dreams a reality! From the beginning, Ron took time to get to know us as a couple in order to make sure everything went smoothly and it was everything we could imagine. He is not the type of DJ that you just give a playlist to and it made the night that much better! The dance floor was NEVER empty and our guests wanted even more when the night was over. Ron was also a part of the rehearsal and contacted all of our speakers which made sure everyone was on the same page. He played a major role in our day going perfectly. Wow! What a great MC and DJ

Ron was simply amazing! He worked closely with us to make sure that our vision for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing were perfectly executed. Ron's expertise was extremely helpful in planning the flow of events (first dance, toast, etc.). Best DJ EVER!!! He can do it all! We hired Ron for our daughter’s wedding because we had been to a wedding 3 years prior and he was the DJ. Obviously, he made an impression. My husband and I said to each other “ we want Ron for Quinn’s wedding!” He makes the whole wedding personable! He is beyond professional and extremely organized. Such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I hired Ron for our wedding reception at the Hilton Inverness. From our first point of contact, Ron was communicative, enthusiastic and supportive of our vision. Professional DJ and MC services

Working with Ron was a pleasure, and he kept people on the dance floor all night long! He did a great job with day-of coordination and setting our timeline and was understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid. Ron was also super helpful in the planning process for our wedding - his planning guides helped us make a lot of decisions that it hadn't even occurred to us to make, but that made our day run smoothly. Unlike other DJs we considered he is also easy to talk to - he's not super obnoxiously outgoing or in-your-face, but is easy to talk to and work with for more introverted folks like me and my husband.

Ron was amazing! Professional, friendly and fun!

My husband and I loved having Ron as the DJ at our wedding! He was very professional and did an amazing job overall. Not only was the music great but he worked with us to get our officiant miked up properly as well as giving our officiant some tips for the big day. He was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Ron is also very organized which I so appreciated! His planning worksheets helped me stay organized and figure out what it was I wanted. He even came to our rehearsal so he could meet the bridal party! To me this was above and beyond and we are thrilled with his services. I would 100% use him again and recommend him as a DJ!

One Of A Kind!!!

Ron was the DJ for our daughter's wedding and we couldn't recommend anyone better for such an occasion! He is truly one of a kind . . . professional, organized, creative, energetic, flexible, willing to go the extra mile and the list goes on! Due to Covid-19, our son in-law's favorite Uncle was unable to attend. Amazingly, Ron recorded his long-distance toast from Argentina, played it during the reception, and helped us surprise our son-in-law with this gift, bringing tears to his eyes. Ron knew just the right songs to play, keeping the dance floor full all night and our guests commented how impressed they were with the energy he created. We cannot say enough good things about Ron! He was so helpful throughout the entire process-we had a family member officiate our wedding and Ron sent him tips for the ceremony, as well as tips to all the family members for their toasts. Ron is the BEST!

We love Ron and his work! We can't say enough good things about him and the services he provides. We had a meeting with him early in our planning process and decided to go with him for our DJ and as our Officiant for our ceremony. Throughout the planning process, Ron was available for questions and was flexible when we had to change venues. He has unique ideas to make your ceremony and reception yours and has an easy process for making it all work. We had a unique idea regarding the unity part of our ceremony and he worked with us and did his own research to incorporate this in our ceremony. One of the biggest things for us in his services is that my Matron of Honor was unable to attend last minute and Ron was awesome in helping her record her toast from long distance so that she could still be part of our day. He's also attentive to music selection and reads the crowd well in keeping everyone dancing and having fun! Anyone who has Ron as their DJ and/or Officiant will have a professional and fun experience!

The best DJ!

Ron is the total package! He is so attentive and detail-oriented throughout the whole planning process. He gets to know you, your family, your whole wedding party, comes to the rehearsal, and is just generally so involved. Energetic and Fun DJ

Ron was the coordinator and DJ for my wedding in August 2019. I had the most amazing experience working with Ron throughout my wedding planning and night. Ron was organized, fun, energetic, flexible, helpful and always fast to respond. Ron was my coordinator to help me organize my toasts and timelines (he was invaluable!), he had the music and mics to help my ceremony run smooth and he was the DJ through my reception. I let Ron read the crowd and pick 95% of all the music that played throughout hte night. He had a great eye and ear for my crowd! We had so much fun and loved all the music he played. Ron made our wedding dreams a reality! From the beginning, Ron took time to get to know us as a couple in order to make sure everything went smoothly and it was everything we could imagine. He is not the type of DJ that you just give a playlist to and it made the night that much better! The dance floor was NEVER empty and our guests wanted even more when the night was over. Ron was also a part of the rehearsal and contacted all of our speakers which made sure everyone was on the same page. He played a PIVOTAL role in our day going perfectly. Shedd-Marsh Wedding

Ron handled my daughters wedding June 2019 in Estes Park. He was extremely professional, efficient, responsive, flexible and FUN! One week before the event one of our ceremony musicians had to step down due to a family emergency. Ron seamlessly picked up the ball and ran with it. He coordinated directly with the remaining musician and they worked out the ceremony music. It was perfect. For the reception he read the crowd beautifully--playing all sorts of fun music. He took requests and got some reluctant dancers up on the floor. He directed the activities (entrance, cake cutting, etc) with grace. And at the end of the evening the young people were having so much fun he asked me if he could play a little longer! He's just a very professional and fun dj. I absolutely recommend him to anyone! I would definitely hire him again!

Incredible service

Could not have made a better decision for our DJ and wedding director! The most important thing for us was that all of our family and friends had a great time and boy did Ron deliver! Everyone kept saying that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, so organized and fun. Ron played great music, read the crowd AND directed the whole night. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything. We just got to sit back and enjoy our wedding day. Another thing, I can be a control freak so the fact that Ron made me feel comfortable enough to relax and let him handle the night really says a lot. He is so kind and really cares about providing the best service he can. Ron is worth every cent and I will be recommending him to all my friends and family in the future! Seriously couldn't have asked for a better DJ!! Ron was an absolute joy to work with. He is prompt with email responses, professional, fun, and offers a wealth of knowledge which was so helpful when planning an out of state wedding.

We knew Ron was the one when we told him where the wedding venue was up in the mountains and he said, "Oh, yeah. I've ridden my mountain bike up there." From our first meeting to the end of the reception, Ron made everything special. He did so much more than playing music. He offered suggestions for the ceremony, made an extra trip to the mountains to see the venue, set up perfect sound for the outdoor wedding ceremony, and really tuned into the guests and their preferences during the reception. I especially liked how after just a couple meetings, Ron felt like a friend, not just a stranger offering his services.

Ron did an amazing job for our wedding. He spent considerable time before the wedding helping with various tasks; he provided excellent suggestions for activities that could be included in the reception, he provided a checklist of to-dos before and at the ceremony/reception, he visited the venue with us to help with the overall layout, and he attended the rehearsal to help coordinate with the officiant. Of course, he also provided audio equipment and provided a variety of music all evening at the reception. In essence, Ron provided almost full service for us, and I strongly recommend Ron Michaels for your wedding.

We are so very happy that we hired Ron for our daughter's Estes Park wedding. We found him to be extremely professional, courteous, and prompt to reply to our questions. This was especially helpful as this was an out-of-state destination wedding. He provided valuable, timely information - timeline for the evening, suggestions for toasts. He worked well with all of our specific family requests - helping out a first-time officiant, accommodating a last-minute inclusion of a family mashup, finding a really old, incredibly special song for the bride and her grandfather (Lavender Blue). He eased our unrest at a very windy ceremony and just kept everything moving along smoothly. He played a beautiful mix of music, at the perfect volume, during cocktails and dinner. He followed that time with great dance music, and most certainly kept the dance floor full till the very end! Ron was fantastic. We guaranteed a dancing crowd until the very end and that's what we got. When we first talked he asked me what my three most important things are when I think about my wedding. Music was very important to us. Having thought at first I could get away with creating playlists of our favorite songs, it was clear to me on our wedding night that your DJ should be able to read the crowd. He did that and so much more. We were close to 10,000 ft above sea level and everyone was still dancing despite being completely out of breath.

With everything else going on during the day/evening, I didn't feel stressed about the timing, events or the music during the ceremony or reception. I should note that I live in Australia and he was very accommodating and scheduled Skype calls with me and my husband so we could nail down the specifics. We didn't meet until the rehearsal and that didn't matter.

We took him up on his idea of a 'long distance toast' to bring something unique to our reception. I surprised my husband with a voice message from his best friends in Vietnam that couldn't make the wedding. Ron coordinated and worked directly with them - I didn't have to do a thing. Turned out perfect.

Ron was simply THE BEST! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ (he also kept everything running smoothly and on schedule the day of the wedding). Ron personalizes everything to match exactly what you're looking for. He is professional and extremely thoughtful in his work. He helped us in the planning stages by providing suggestions and resources and he was always very responsive whenever we had a question or needed to change something. Everyone was on the dance floor dancing all night long, which speaks to his ability to read the crowd! In addition, he provided table trivia, welcome introductions for our entire bridal party, and he also wrote our "love story" for my husband and I before our first dance (ask him for more details on what this entails!). All in all, hiring Ron meant for some extra "perks" that made our day that much more special. I am so happy we had the opportunity to work with him and would recommend him to anyone looking for DJ or Officiant services!

Ron was the most professional and fun wedding DJ we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He DJ'd our Colorado Wedding for about 125 people and everyone was raving about his music and MC work by the end of the night. Ron was the DJ at my daughter's wedding and he was amazing! Many people commented on how fun he made the reception. He played lots of great music of different eras and styles. He kept the evening going at a good pace, with couples' dances, anniversary dances, line dances and great timing for the bride and groom dance and toasts. It was obvious to me that he spent a good deal of time planning beforehand with my daughter and her (now) husband, finding out what music, toasts and other activities they wanted. I highly recommend Ron!

Ron is amazing!! He was hired for our son's wedding and we were so impressed that we hired him to do our daughter's wedding as well! I didn't have to worry about anything during the wedding. Ron was amazing! We planned a long distance wedding and he was incredibly helpful. He provided a guidebook and advice throughout the entire process. He even came to the rehearsal to make sure all went smoothly. The day of he was fantastic! He kept the wedding on schedule, faces smiling and the party grooving. Ron was such an amazing DJ. He really has it all together and gets a true feel for the couple. He was so accommodating to our requests, easy to work with, and truly made our wedding night tons of fun. We gave him pretty free reign on the songs and I was afraid it would be majority country, since that is our preference, which was fine with my husband and I, but most of our guests can only tolerate so much. But I had nothing to worry about. His playlist was awesome! It was the perfect mix! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and majority of people did not leave until they HAD to because the music was so great! Even my husband, the non-dancer, danced most of the night, and our feet pain was proof in the morning (which is a great thing!) We have had SO many compliments on how fun our wedding was and it was all because of Ron!

He also worked seamlessly with the Sylvan Dale staff and went with the flow with any changes, requests, etc. He truly was a professional and knows what he is doing! We were so pleased with Ron and would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

Do yourself a favor and book Ron as your DJ. To start, the resources he provided during the planning process were invaluable, especially since our officiant was a friend and not a professional. We conducted the meetings virtually via Skype since we live a few hours drive from his location; the convenience was great. He did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator. We left all of the music choices to Ron (except the formal dances) and he met all expectations. The ceremony processional music were perfect instrumentals. During the reception, he played music for every generation and kept the dance floor hopping all night. His ability to read the crowd really reflects his experience. Highly recommend.

Ron Michaels was the DJ/Coordinator at our son's recent wedding. Ron was absolutely the Master of Ceremonies for the entire wedding. He provided music as the guests were arriving, as well as music during the cocktail hour and the dinner. He also kept the wedding on schedule, and moving smoothly the entire evening. Ron took on extra duties by conducting a trivia contest for the guests, and announced the new couple to all the guests in a very beautiful way. We were also very impressed when Ron stepped in to help with the rehearsal when our wedding coordinator was unable to attend because of illness. We were so happy with Ron's expertise and professionalism. He definitely helped make the entire evening very special for everyone.

I am so happy we chose Ron Michaels as our DJ! He has a ton of experience, and is extremely organized, communicative and professional. I'm a Type-A person who tends to worry a lot, but Ron immediately made me feel like we were in safe hands. We had a few special requests for him--my brother played a song for our recessional, and we acted out a dance routine from a movie for our first dance and needed Ron to play along--and he was totally game for everything. He even stepped up to the plate and ran our rehearsal when our DOC had to cancel due to illness. At the reception, Ron kept the dance floor packed and did an awesome job of reading the room. Our wedding was on a weeknight, and I couldn't believe the number of people who stayed late to party with us! I literally did not leave the dance floor all night! I'd spent the days before the wedding a nervous wreck, but I was able to let loose and have a blast thanks to Ron! His services cost a few hundred dollars more than we had initially budgeted, but he was truly worth every penny. I highly recommend Ron Michaels!

From the first meeting with Ron, we knew he would be the perfect DJ. He was professional, but also laid back and genuine enough to make us feel comfortable. He walked us through everything we would need to know about planning the reception and ceremony. He provided suggestions based on his extensive wedding experience, but clearly expressed how open he was to trying new things. At the actual wedding reception, he kept people on the dance floor and changed the music based on the age and mood of the people on the dance floor. He kept the whole event on schedule and easily worked with changes that arose at the last second. Finally, Ron has worked with several of the Front Range's best wedding vendors. He knows the area's venues and other talent well enough to work smoothly with them. We highly recommend him!

Ron was awesome!! I really appreciated how confident he was in his ability to organize, MC, and keep good music going for a fun wedding reception. I really wanted a good dance floor and he delivered! He was easy to get a hold of, either with skype or email prior to our wedding. He asked us thoughtful questions during our 2 skype meetings and then he was able to take it from there. I highly highly recommend Ron if you want to feel confident that your wedding reception will be fun and run smoothly. My mom was also very happy with him. She went to him if there were any scheduling concerns, etc. I was too busy dancing during the reception!

Ron was terrific to work with. He accommodated all of my requests and played all of the songs I wanted to be included. He met with me and my now-husband to get to know us and get a sense of our style. He played music all night that was a perfect fit for us and our guests. I cannot say enough about Ron, he is simply excellent. He did a great job listening to what we wanted for our big day and implemented flawlessly. Ron made it a point to contact us a few times before the wedding to ensure he had all he needed to run the reception. A few months before the wedding he sent a short questionnaire for my fiancé and I filled out. Most of the questions we hadn’t even thought about and wouldn’t have thought to ask. I wanted the reception to feel less “programmed” so together we created a timeline that flowed seamlessly throughout the night without the traditional aspects (special dances, toasts, cake cutting) feeling stacked. Ron was on time, professional, and worked to ensure the floor was always full. He wasn’t loud or in your face and never took attention away from the event. Our guests have been raving about him since the wedding and so have my parents. It took a bit of effort to convince them that it was worth the money but in the end they were very glad that we hired Ron, and so are we!

Ron did a fantastic job with our wedding. He was easy to reach, listened to all our ideas, and kept the reception flowing. We didn't have to worry about anything. We had several compliments from guests about the sound level and music selection. We would recommend him in a second. Thank you Ron!

Ron was a great DJ. He really paid attention to what we wanted, I had pretty specific ideas about my DJ and Ron listened to everything. In addition to his great personality, he kept everyone dancing all night long - he incorporated the type of music we wanted but he also included the requests from guests. At no point did the music seem fractured, there was always a good flow. Additionally, Ron was very familiar with our venue and he acted as another planner/go-to person during the wedding, which was very comforting. Great Job!

My daughter, Rachel was in charge of booking the DJ. So based on many recommendations she hired Ron! He did such an amazing job and surpassed all our expectations.
It is obvious he loves what he does! Not only did he MC a great party; he was so good at keeping us on point with all the special things Rachel and Brad had planned during the reception! His music choices kept many of our guest staying and by the last song all of them circle the dance floor and watch the Newly married couple dance to the last song of the evening.
We had our own Lebanese music and he played it for us to dance our traditional line dance. It was a blast. He knew just what to play next and kept people on the dance floor all night. The biggest compliment I can make is that my husband never wanted the night to end! Ron you are a dear man and we are grateful for all you did for us that night!

Ron was just a wonderful person to work with. He is very professional and prompt. From the first meeting, we knew he was going to be the best! We planned our wedding from 1200 miles away and I was not at all disappointed. Ron did an exceptional job and got along well wth everyone.
He did an amazing job on getting my large Hispanic family to dance 95% of the songs at my wedding. Everyone had a great time and we are pleased and very blessed that he was a big part of our special day. I definitely recommend Ron to everyone getting married in Colorado. He is very organized and did well directing from event to event. Thanks Ron!!

We planned our wedding from about 700 miles away, and actually didn't meet Ron in person until the reception. He was so helpful through the planning process, with Skype emails and VERY fast email replies.

The reception was FANTASTIC! We continue to receive compliments on what a great time everyone had, and Ron was the reason everyone enjoyed our reception so much! The reception "moments" (first dance, cake cutting, toasts, etc.) were so well organized and flowed really well. The music was outstanding, with people dancing throughout the reception. This included people ranging from age 3 to age 70. We had a great time, our guests had a great time, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We truly could not have been happier!!

Our advice for anyone getting married in and around Colorado: 1. Hire Ron and 2. Just let him do his thing--pick the music, read the crowd, and run the show. You will NOT be disappointed!

From our first meeting to the last dance Ron was wonderful to work with. He is really good at communicating with his couples and answering questions. We had a lot of last minute changes to our wedding day plans, and Ron handled it with grace and professionalism. The introductions went flawlessly and the guests really enjoyed the tid-bits about the wedding party members. As the Bride and Groom we were constantly being pulled in a million different directions. Ron made it easy for us to focus on our guest, rather than where we had to be when. During the reception he guided us through and made it very stress free for my Husband and I. The one thing I thought was slightly awkward was not having the parent dances cut sooner. The entire song was played, even though we wanted them to be cut earlier, and thought we had discussed this in a planning meeting. Many times during these dances our parents thought the song was going to fade, and we kept looking at Ron, hoping he would pick up on the cue that our parents were feeling uncomfortable with the long amount of time we were dancing in front of the guests. Although I felt the music was fantastic and that the dance floor was full almost all night, a few guests commented on their song requests being denied. I know Ron likes to go with the flow and what seems to keep guests dancing, however, I was slightly bummed to hear my guests comment that their songs were simply denied. Overall we had a really great experience with Ron as the Bride and Groom and felt that he kept our party flowing all night long, and kept the dance floor full. Thank again Ron for all of your help making our reception so much fun!

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Ron. He stands by what he says. He was more than helpful preparing us for what to expect. Ron is very organized, relaxed, and also gets things done right away. He's also very fun! We had our wedding up in Estes Park. The weather was questionable. Ron set up a system outside and inside. We ended up having the ceremony inside instead. He was more than accommodating. Ron is someone we completely respect. My husband was very skeptical about other Djs. He had no question about Ron. He's honest, not overpriced, and is a great DJ. He makes the couple feel special and does not make it about him! Thank you so much Ron! I'm so happy we had you at the wedding. You were amazing! It's hard to find great people sometimes in this industry. You rock!

Ron was our dj at our wedding in estes park. Ron is the best dj you can choose ! I swear. We met with 3 Djs befrore finding Ron and not only was Ron the nicest, had the best equipment & most professional but he was also the best priced !! I couldn't beleieve the prices the other Djs gave us compared to Ron. Don't get ripped off! Ron has amazing communication skills and was my easiest vendor to work with. He was great at the wedding as well, wasn't in ur face and annoying like some Djs but still kept the party going and kept it classy and fun. Thanks Ron !

If you're looking for an excellent wedding DJ/MC, you can stop the search, because you've found the best one out there. Ron did an outstanding job at our wedding. There were relatives having a blast on the dance floor that I had never seen inspired to bust a move before, and many people commented even a few weeks later that it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. Ron also ensured that the event went smoothly by planning out the timeline with us well ahead of time and also advising us during the event. He has a ton of experience and knows what works, what doesn't work as well, and how to expertly read the crowd. At the same time, when giving us advice, he emphasized that specific decisions were ours to make and didn't pressure us, just told us the plusses/minuses and what he thought was best (but of course we followed his advice and it always was very good!). We also felt that Ron's service was an extremely good value, especially in light of how much time for planning, preparation, and face-to-face meetings Ron put into it. We also had a short list of songs from various genres that we really wanted to be played, and Ron incorporated these very seamlessly into the reception. He knew where the songs would fit best and how to lead into/out of them with other song choices in a way that kept the guests engaged and having fun (and we had quite the generational mix of guests!). We also really appreciated that, unlike for many other DJ services we looked at, we knew when meeting with Ron that he was the one who would be there at our reception. Overall, we were extremely impressed with Ron's experience, skill, and meticulousness throughout the planning and during the event. He also read the crowd extremely well and was a lot of fun to work with. Our wedding was a blast and we will cherish the memories forever; Ron played a huge part in making the night such a great one! So, stop doing research and just hire Ron now!

Ron did such a great job at our wedding! He was very professional and helped make the day less stressful. He took the time to meet with us several times to get to know us and help us figure out exactly what we wanted. He is so much more than just a DJ! Ron did an amazing job at our wedding. We actually had another DJ booked but due to his lack of professionalism we decided to cancel with him and thankfully Ron was available for our wedding date. Both my husband and I felt so much more at ease upon our first meeting with Ron. He took the time to get to know my husband and I as people as well as what we were looking for in our wedding. He also gave great suggestions for how to keep the wedding fun and easy-going all night. He scheduled a second meeting right before the wedding in which we ran through the timeline of events and he was very organized and efficient. On the wedding day, he did a fantastic job playing a mix of oldies and new hits to keep the crowd dancing. We had an absolutely amazing wedding and a huge part of that is because of Ron. Ron was amazing from first contact. He was referred to us by a friend and after talking with several other DJ companies in town, I knew Ron truly cared about us and our day. He was quick to respond to questions, provided awesome ideas that fit with our ceremony and reception, worked with our random ideas and requests and went out of his way to meet with us, pick up music and make sure that everything went smoothly. We had so much fun at our wedding and we can contribute so much of that to the ambiance that Ron created. People had fun, they danced, they watched performances and they played games and Ron made sure it all happened! A month later, people are still talking about how much fun they had!

Ron was the consummate professional from day one. He set meetings with us, followed up when he said he would, provided thoughtful and candid feedback, and made sure we were fully prepared for the wedding day. Frankly, he was the only wedding vendor who was actually proactive in reaching out to us and we were incredibly appreciative from the beginning.

When it came to the day of, we couldn't have asked for a better person to facilitate everything. We didn't want to do a lot of the 'traditional' events so I was worried there may be too much time for dancing. The dance floor was absolutely packed all night long! It was such an amazing evening. Ron read the room and ensured he was shifting music based on people on the floor, moods, time of night, etc.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ron to anyone and hope this review helps in his future business. You won't regret choosing Ron - he adds an extra level of comfort that is invaluable on a day like that.

He was great on all aspects of the wedding. He was very organized and responsive leading up to the wedding. We made a couple last minute changes in the days before the wedding which he incorporated seamlessly. Ron was exceptionally professional in every way! He was easy to work with from start to finish. He listened and accomodated all of our music requests. Our guests of all ages packed the dance floor until the end of the night. His pre-planning was awesome. His attendance at our rehearsal shows that he goes above and beyond to provide great service. Very organized and listened very well to our requests for the evening. He was so great about getting information about our wedding party and made it that much better when introducing us. Ron Michaels is an amazing DJ!!! Our guests are still raving about how great he was. They loved his song selection and how he played music that appealed to all ages. The dance floor was packed all night! Everything that he told us when we first met him he followed through with. He was able to MC and keep the flow of the night going without stealing the limelight. Ron was such an amazing DJ and made our day what it was. We knew we wanted to "splurge" on a DJ because people really only remember whether or not they had a good time at a wedding, and... I love to dance.
Our dance floor was full the entire night! It was such a blast and I couldn't have asked for a better time.
Ron sat down with us where it was convenient for us to meet him, we talked about his services and he made us feel so comfortable and gave us peace of mind.
He offered to be at the rehearsal if he had no other event going on, and he didn't, so he was there and ran through all of the music and order of events with us and our coordinator.
The day of was absolutely perfect. All of the extra steps he takes to make a wedding amazing, is worth way more than he even charges.
He played out ceremony music, reception music, introduced our bridal party with bullet points we gave him, directed the entire event from start to finish, and was able to read the crowd to play what got everyone dancing all night!

You will NOT regret choosing Ron Michaels as your DJ, he was our favorite vendor and we are so happy that someone recommended him to us.
He was a big part of making our day the most perfect day of our lives!

From start to finish, Ron was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I shopped a few different Colorado-based DJ's for our big day in Steamboat Springs on July 7th. Ron's attention to details and professional advice/suggestions made the decision to go with him an easy one. And we are thrilled we did! Before our wedding day, Ron brought a lot of value to the planning process (his organizational skills were impressive). Ron is a real pro! He made the reception completely stress free for us (announcing the different events, handling song requests, etc). You can tell that he really enjoys what he does - he is friendly, easy to work with, and did a great job choosing music and emceeing the event. He also provided the sound for our wedding ceremony. We could not have asked for a better DJ! Ron was wonderful to work with. He always responded to emails promptly and professionally. He listened to our ideas and helped guide us through the process, while never trying to change what we waned. Most importantly, he made our reception so much fun! My husband and I went to a wedding the weekend before ours, and the DJ was very cheesy and completely stole the spotlight. Ron could not have been more different. We were very happy with our choice to use Ron as our DJ for our wedding. He was very thorough in the weeks leading up to the wedding and in all honestly you didn't really notice him, you noticed the music and all of the guests having a great time. He took our must plays and do not plays into consideration but was able to get a feel for what brought people out onto the dance floor and kept the momentum going. I would definitely recommend him,

Loved working with Ron! From start to finish, Ron was extremely responsive, and listened to all of our request. We didn't even need to provide a play list, and all of our guests were dancing the entire time. He made the effort to come to Estes (from Ft Collins) for our rehearsal. Ron was the best DJ I could have chosen for our wedding. From the very beginning, he worked with us to get exactly what we wanted for the wedding. For example, I wanted to do both a daddy daughter dance and a dance with my mom and Ron had some great suggestions on how to incorporate both of those without making it drag out too long. He also was perfectly fine with my husband adding a mother son dance two days before the wedding. At the wedding itself, Ron constantly had people on the dance floor. There wasn't a single song that wasn't popular and he did a great job of dedicating songs to people who requested them. He covered many genres so there was something for everyone at the party. Another nice thing about Ron is that he is also a day of coordinator so I didn't have to worry about the timing of when toasts should happen, cake cutting, dances, etc. because the second I walked in the door to the reception, he took care of the whole night for me. Most importantly, I got so many compliments about Ron. Older people who have been to tons of weddings said he was one of the best DJs they had heard and even the staff at my wedding venue was saying that they've never seen a DJ do such a great job at energizing the crowd. If you want to have a blast at your wedding and not have to worry about the details, Ron is the guy to choose!

Hands down, the part of the reception I got the most compliments on was Ron! Ron was the DJ at our August wedding and he was fantastic. Our dance floor was not empty the ENTIRE night, and the vast majority of the night it was completely packed. I saw people dancing I never imagined would dance, thanks to Ron! He really read the crowd and figured out within just a couple of songs what would get everyone moving. He had some great suggestions for extra things to do throughout the night - one was a shoe game that my husband and I played that was a big hit. He has a great vibe and kept everything flowing really well throughout the night. He was super helpful throughout the whole planning process - we met with him a couple of times and he was very thorough and spent a lot of time finding out exactly what we were looking for. He was able to accommodate all of our requests and was very flexible. I really can't say enough good things about him - I would recommend him to anyone. I promise you can't go wrong with Ron!
