Perfect wedding
I looked at two venues and after we left Roma View I knew it was where I would have my reception. I have been to other events there so I knew the food was amazing. The whole staff was amazing. Eric answered all my questions. Leah and Lori were great throughout the booking and planning process. And the staff the day of were amazing. Carlos my maitre d was amazing. He was by our side the whole night making sure we ere taken care of. We received so many compliments on the cocktail hour ( we didn’t realize how much food there would be) and all the dinner choices were a hit. We highly recommend Roma View and plan on going back for future events. -

User1603765 Sent on 05/01/2014I was looking for a conveniently located caterer in Queens, NY with a view of the water. Found this spectacular venue. The staff was impeccable. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. My guests raved about the food! Six entree selections, all delicious. Thank you Eric and Donna, the event coordinators, for making my son's baptism so memorable. -

Spiridoula Sent on 09/03/2015Roma View is gorgeous, I had to start with that because the exterior is quaint, but the interior is always stunning. The food is delicious and there is always far too much of it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The servers are always sweet. My in-laws have every large event here and it is easy to see why. We always have an amazing time. The view from the large and medium rooms is gorgeous especially around sun set. The colors of that sunset on the marina behind your sweetheart/dais table is worth booking a room in and of itself. My church is actually about an hour commute to Roma View, but I would drive further for the quality of service. -

Color people are treated unafairly
This place is nice depending on your race, and nationality. If you are a person of color you may want to look else where for fair service. My party ordered top shelf liquor and was not given what we paid for, not to mention we had security in our photos, because of the color of our skin we had to have security in clear visibility. The okay food, never got replenished even though we were supposed to have replenished food for two hours. The food was taken away within an hour stating that everyone had eaten, not given anyone a chance for seconds. We ordered one dish and was told that they ran out, an they gave us what they wanted us to have. The alcohol was watered down and we were given used and already opened bottles of well liquor. The service was good outside of being robbed with the liquor, food and having security visible in our photos. I would not recommend this place for almost $6,500.00 is you are a person of color. We paid like everyone else and security is not in other people pictures. We were told security is in the room because of premium liquor being the case, which is not true because we did not have an option of purchasing well liquor and even though we purchased premium liquor we did not receive it until several hours into the event, after confronting the establishment several times. At this point my guest we unaware that it was available and some did not want to mix the well liquor with the premium liquor. Guest even had adverse affects of drinking well liquor because it was not gluten free, and their diet requires gluten free items only. This establishment has to do better with servicing color people. We all live in one nation, under God. If our money is good enough to take, we should be given fair service as well. -
