We ordered several cakes and had a dessert bar at our wedding. They were all fantastic and beautifully decorated. People were asking days later if they could come over a d have left overs! It was a great addition to our day!

A friend of ours used the Rolling Pin for their wedding cupcakes and they were delicious so when we got engaged, they were the first place we thought of. The initial consultation is great: they allow you to taste a bunch of cakes, fillings, and frostings and then go over exactly what you would like and price out how much it will cost. We knew we wanted a variety of desserts and they were helpful with their recommendations. In the end we went with a small cutting cake, cupcakes, pies, and cheesecake. Our guests raved about the quality of the desserts and we loved our cutting cake (death by chocolate)! I will definitely be going back to them again for other events!

What can I say? Cake tasting was awesome. Our cake arrived, was beautiful, they decorated it with fresh greenery on the spot, and most importantly it was delicious. Almond and chocolate layered cake with buttercream frosting. We had requested for seconds!

We had a great experience with Rolling Pin! I had to change the time of my tasting because of working around my jury duty. They were extremely accommodating to my variable schedule. We got a simple 2-tier display cake and 2 sheets to serve our wedding. We had 3 different flavors, and everybody was raving about how delicious it was. I would highly recommend Rolling Pin to anyone in the Madison area!

We decided to do away with the orthodox, and opted to not have a cake at our wedding. We ran into some trouble as far as tastings go for individual desserts, but the Rolling Pin was happy to give us a tasting of their small offerings for individual dessert choices. The products were amazing, and were raved about by our guests. Any extras quickly disappeared, and many local guests wanted their information on the spot. This is an amazing bakery, and I highly recommend working with them!

The Rolling Pin went above and beyond my hopes and dreams for a wedding cake and I was so happy I went with them. It was delicious!

Loved working with Rolling Pin! We worked with Stephanie, and she was very helpful during the tasting and design. we did a very simple, chic cake, but it looked beautiful. We got many compliments on it!

We had a three tier cake and a few sheet cakes. I was expecting our quote to be much higher. The price was definitely right at $625.

easy to work with and super delicious. their prices were comparable to other bakeries and the cake was far superior. they took care of delivery and setup. i gave them the contact info for our reception site and everything was magically there and looked and tasted great! we got a 2-tier for our cutting cake (with the top for saving for our anniversary) and 2 large sheet cakes, which fed our 170 guests with about 15 slices to spare.

We have only been in fora tasting and initial consultation, but their cakes were moist and had a great variety beyond the standard, white, yellow, chocolate, marble, and red velvet there was also a spice, strawberry, almond, orange, and lemon. They set out what looked like a little paint palette with all the different fillings that we could do as well as the butter cream options that we would have. They were very quick to respond to emails and was able to draw a rough design of what we wanted right there at the consultation to help us visualize better of what our cake will be. The only semi-drawback that they have is a $35 delivery fee when our reception site is less than 10miles away.

The cake was amazing. I got the lemon poppyseed raspberry filling with buttercream icing. We went there for a cake tasting and were helped greatly by the associate. My cake was excellent. Everyone loved it.

Rolling Pin worked with us to stay within our budget. The cake was delivered on time, and held up very well in the heat (our wedding was outside). We tasted several cakes from various bakeries in the Madison area, and felt that Rolling Pin had the best tasting and moistest cake.

Only downside was that the day we came to do our cake tasting, we felt that the staff had no idea we were coming...they scrambled to put something together for us and overall were a bit disorganized. I was also a bit concerned prior to the wedding that delivery time would not be correct, as it was recorded on our order sheet wrong several times despite specific written instructions we had given. Luckily it all turned out okay, we had a very nice cake, and our guests seemed to like it.

Hands down the best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life and it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. We've gotten SOO many compliments on it as well.

The cake looked beautiful and tasted great. The people were great to work with, and we received many compliments. Can't wait for our anniversary cake so that we can eat it again.

Went with a design we really liked from the book, but it didn't end up looking as sharp as it did in the pictures.

The entire top layer of the cake was sitting on the cake table (upside down) for a while - not sure if that was our reception vendor messing up plating the cake or the cake not being built well.

I can't begin to describe how disappointed I was with this vendor, especially the owners. I should've known from our first meeting something didn't seem right. My mom and I had seen their work at a bridal expo and their fake display cakes and cake simples at the expo seemed to be the best there so we decided to go with them for our wedding cake in addition to ordering other pastries from them for our large sweet table. Tanya could never give me a straightforward answer as to how many people our cake would serve (even after several face to face meetings and phone calls) and the day of our wedding, the chef who cut the cake said it was not large enough to serve the amount of people it was supposed to feed so he had to cut the pieces smaller to accommodate everyone. They forgot our groom's cake and refused to come back, our cake was visibly leaning and when they were there they told our reception coordinator to make sure no one bumped the table bc the cake could fall!! It was a standard four tier cake with flowers separating the tiers. Tanya got into a verbal and almost physical altercation with other vendors when she refused to fix or explain why the cake was leaning and extremely unsupported.... There was so much more that went wrong with these people throughout our planning. After our wedding, I came across other reviews in the past that pretty much had the exact same situation happen to them. I wish I had known (and that Tanya would've been honest with me from the beginning what she could, and obviously couldn't, handle) and we would've taken our business elsewhere. They do have good cakes and products, but unfortunately after their horrifying unprofessionalism, I will never go back there again; and for all brides, save yourself one less stress, and go somewhere else!!!!
