The BEST Band in the DMV

If you just got engaged and are looking for a band - look no further because Rollex is absolutely the best there is! We found out about Rollex by attending a friends wedding and instantly knew we had to have them for our wedding! Rollex made our wedding! From the amazing customer service from Kevin, to the iconic MC'ing from Mia, from the mindblowing horns section, to the energy to pump up the crowd - you and your guests will not be disappointed! There was not one person sitting in their seats when they play. Rollex will without a doubt make you and your significant other feel like a million bucks. Amazing Band!

Choosing Kevin and The Rollex Band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. After considering several bands, we ultimately went with Rollex and we’re so glad we did.

Kevin was incredibly responsive and flexible throughout the planning process, which made working with him a breeze. He took the time to understand our vision and helped ensure that everything ran smoothly on the big day.

The band was phenomenal. Their transitions were seamless, the energy was amazing, and they absolutely nailed our first dance song. So many of our guests came up to us during the night (and after!) to tell us how fantastic the band was. Of note, many guests were from New Orleans and had high standards for a live band and Rollex band met those expectations!

If you’re looking for a high-energy, talented, and professional group that will elevate your event, we highly recommend The Rollex Band.

Rollex rules!

My wife and I had such a fabulous time when Rollex played at our daughter's wedding in 2019 that we had long been looking for another chance to engage them. After that, we also had a great time dancing to their music at two other weddings, whose brides (and their parents) had been at our daughter's wedding. But this past weekend, we gave Rollex a different challenge: we asked the full band--really, you should be sure to include the horn player--to play at the party celebrating my wife and me each turning 70. So we had some old swing music and plenty of music from the 70's--especially Rollex’s *fabulous* Motown renditions. We and our fellow 70-year-olds had a great time getting down to their superlatively good music, and so did our kids and their friends, who are in their 30's. Rollex RULES!

Rollex is amazing!

From the moment we signed a contract with Rollex, the team was responsive, professional and full of enthusiasm for our big day. That carried through to the wedding reception, when they were right on time, brought the energy and took care of everything on our behalf. Would recommend them to anyone!

Best band ever!

Rollex was a BLAST at our wedding! Probably one of the biggest compliments we have received is how fun the band was. They were interactive with me and my husband, as well as with the crowd. We loved working with them and would 100% recommend them to anyone!

The Rollex Band is the best choice you can make for your Wedding band.

I cannot say enough good things about The Rollex Band. First off Kevin Lunsford and the band are very friendly, extremely professional, easy to work with, and most importantly, great musicians. Kevin was very kind and always available to talk and answer any questions we had. They have a huge library of songs that span all genres and do a great job of catering the set list to fit the couple and the wedding, and were even able to accommodate some of our special requests. ;)

I can honestly say that they had myself and the entire party on their feet dancing all night. Not only were they providing the music, but entertainment as well. They brought a mic stand out into the dance floor and got us all into a round of limbo. This was something that was unexpected and tons of fun. We are continuing to get tons of compliments from guests saying how good the band was and how fun our wedding was.

In addition, we had the keyboardist perform for the cocktail hour which was beautiful. Kevin provided the audio set up for the ceremony, as well as in the ballroom and separate patio area. The Rollex Band did a great job of making sure the volume was just right. They EQ'ed the night so well, making sure it was never too loud or too soft. The Rollex Band is also customizable in size and instruments based on the wedding and preference which was really helpful when working with our budget.

You will not regret choosing The Rollex Band for your wedding and you just might have one of the best nights of your life.

People are still raving about our band!

We got married in May 2023 (a little behind in writing this!) and people are still raving to us about our band when they mention our wedding! Kevin made the booking process very easy, responded to emails super quick. An added bonus was we were looking to have a string quartet do our ceremony and cocktail hour and Kevin arranged all of that as well. The string quartet was excellent, btw! The main show, however, the Rollex band, was incredible. The reviews are accurate — they read the room super well and get everyone to the dance floor. I kept saying I just wanted to have a really fun wedding with lots of dancing and the band more than delivered. 12/10 would rebook again with no hesitation.

Best band in the DC area, maybe the country!

Best band in the DC area without a doubt. In the year since my wedding all the guests keep saying it's the best band at ANY wedding or party they've ever been to in their lives. Very easy to work with, nice management, and fantastic musicians. They'll play to the crowd and keep them on your feet - maybe not sticking to your playlist for every minute of the night (though of course they will for all the important major songs), but your party and guests will benefit from their deviations in the moment - believe me!

The BEST band around

I had the pleasure of working with The Rolex Band this May and they were amazing! Everyone was on the dance floor, they were respectful of the noise ordinance in the area we were in and they even brought the bride and groom up to the "stage" to be serenaded by the band and their wedding guests. I would recommend them a hundred times over!

Great team to work with

Kevin and his team were great to work with. Communication leading up to our wedding was strong. They learned the three songs we used for our first day and the mother/father dances, which made them extra special. They had great energy that brought the party we were looking for at our reception. You will have a great partner in the Rollex Band!

Amazing band that knows how to keep guests on the dance floor!

The Rollex Band was the very best band for our wedding reception! We wanted a band that would get everyone moving and dancing, and they did just that! They were a blast and we are still getting compliments on how fantastic they were, a month later!

Working with Kevin from the start was easy. We had a 9-piece band that included 2 horns & it was perfect. The talent that Kevin & team brought was AMAZING!!

Kevin & the Rollex Band were fantastic

I am the owner and lead planner of Clover Hill Events. Kevin and the Rollex Band recently played for one of our weddings and crushed it! Kevin was responsive during planning, was flexible and worked with the noise concerns at the venue, but beyond that the Rollex Band was professional, fun, super talented and were incredible at mc'ing the night. Phenomenal

The Rollex band will make your wedding day a unique experience. No one can resist getting out of their seats to boogie with the energy this band brings to the party. They pack enormous talent, ranging from Aretha Franklin to Katy Perry and everywhere in between. Fabulous - best band in the country

There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING Rollex is. Everyone at my wedding said they had never seen such a great wedding band. People who loved dancing had the best night of their lives. (Multiple people told me “I thought I liked my wedding band, but whoa. I didn’t know how good bands could be!” People who don’t like dancing sought us days later to tell us “that band even had me on the floor!”. In addition to that, they were really sweet and nice MCs who helped us mark special moments. They also were extremely easy to work with in the planning process. You’d be lucky to have them!!

My family has now hired the Rollex Band twice- once for my sisters wedding and again for my wedding! If you want to add next level energy and engagement to your wedding, I highly recommend the Rollex Band! They literally had to pull us off the dance floor to exit the building because we danced all night! They curated a song list that was absolutely perfect for my guests of all ages. Do not Hesitate! Book this Band!

The most important thing to look for in a band is the ENERGY they create and boy this band lives up to the hype. Our guests could not stop talking about how fantastic the band was. Kevin has been doing this for a really long time and makes the process very easy, answering all the questions and doing a final walk through a week or two before. A great thing they do is on their break, you supply the DJ with a list of song you like and they play them so the party never stops. All our guest stayed to the end. It will be night we will never forget and the band makes the evening. Thank you!

Spectacular Event Band!

The dance floor was packed!

Rollex Band will have your guests on the dance floor at the very first song. Their songs flow one right after another and their talent and musicianship is the best I have ever heard. Our members loved them! 100% recommend them for any part! They also have such fun Performing. It’s contagious!!

Excellent, you get what you pay for and worth every penny

Kevin and the band were excellent and worked so good with little timeline adjustments. Personnel I had around 50 people tell me how good they were and where did I find them. This band knows how to play to the crowd and how to adjust to keep things moving. From the moment they started playing the dance floor had folks on it, even during the dinner hour.
Kevin, the leader handled this event so well and the communications between us were spot on.

Outstanding Band

Loved the vibe and energy Rollex provided the entire evening. Dance floor was busy start to finish. The variety of music to accommodate young and old. The newlyweds loved our choice in Rollex. Make the best decision ever and book ROLLEX for your wedding!

My husband wasn’t initially crazy about getting a band for our wedding, but I was insistent! Afterwards, he mentioned that it was the best decision we could have made. The Rollex Band truly made our wedding! They kept the party going all night, with some special surprises in between, and their performance was truly next level. We are still having guests reach out to us to let us know how incredible they were. Separately, Kevin was an absolute pleasure to work with and was patient in answering any questions we had. He also helped us arrange a string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and they learned many new songs for our British-themed cocktail hour. Unbelievable!

Such a fun band!

Everyone was up and dancing while Rollex was playing. They are upbeat and keep the party going. The music is for all ages!

The band is more interactive than any other wedding I've been to. For example... they have you come up on stage at the end of the night to help sing a song. It can be a little corny... but it's fun! This came as a surprise to me, and I wish I knew before.

Other than that... this band will keep the party going until the end of the night. They're so much fun! Kevin is wonderful to work with. Wedding guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how much they loved the band. You won't regret choosing Rollex!

Amazing Wedding Band

As a wedding band, we couldn't have asked for anything better! Rollex brought the party, their musicians and singers were amazing, and the whole group was SO fun when interacting with our guests. They made sure there wasn't a lull in the night and the personalized songs and set list they chose for us made our entire experience with them such a delight! Behind the scenes, they were very responsive and made sure our requests and needs for the day were met with ease. If you're lucky enough to have them available for your special day, put on your dancing shoes and go and reserve them right now!

Kevin and the Rollex Band have been playing at the Annapolis Yacht Club for over 15 years.
NEVER EVER have they disappointed us. They are truly amazing. The dance floor is filled the entire night. I would highly recommend them. ALWAYS!

Unbelievable!!! Love, love, love!!

My daughter's wedding was this past weekend. She & her husband hired this band after I googled & found them. They are truly the best band I've ever heard in my life! They play whatever type of music you want, and play it amazingly well! The instruments, the singing, and the personalities were tremendous. Every single person at the wedding loved them, asked for business cards, etc. They do not disappoint! I still have blisters on top of blisters, because I just could not sit down. I was on the dance floor non-stop, for hours. Even my 103-year-old grandma was thrilled!! Thank you for making this day so special for my daughter and son-in-law, as well as all the guests!!

The best band ever!

To every other couple out there,
If you haven't booked your wedding band yet, you need to stop looking and hire the Rollex Band immediately! They are, without a doubt, the absolute best band you could ever have for your special day. My wife and I booked them as soon as we set our wedding date because you can't find anyone better than the Rollex Band. They have class, soul, energy, professionalism, and experience that sets them apart from anyone else in the industry. They are worth every penny and we left wanting to give them more if we had it because they put so much enthusiasm into their performance that we know is priceless. They made us feel incredibly special between the personal dedications and sincere announcements throughout the night. Their passion and love for music shows and they are truly blessed with a talent that you can't find anywhere else. I can't wait to hear them play again. Our guests at the wedding continuously praised our choice in music entertainment for our reception and could not stop complimenting the amazing party that wouldn't have been the same without them. I had relatives ask me how much they were, what other events they can do, and even if they have a CD to buy. Everyone said they would absolutely pay to see them again. You don't get those kinds of reactions from just any wedding performance. The Rollex Band kept the dance floor packed the entire time, for 4 HOURS! I saw people in my family dance that I have never seen show any ounce of rhythm before. Best decision we made

I’ll admit it... my husband wanted a band for our wedding, and I was not sure how I felt about having one instead of a DJ. We decided to book the Rollex Band and I am so glad we did!! For someone who didn’t even know if I wanted a band, I could not have imagined our wedding without it. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT and everyone kept telling us how amazing our band was!! Our guests were telling us our wedding was the most fun wedding they’d ever been to, and that was because of the Rollex Band. They listened to our music preferences and played an amazing variety of music. Throughout the entire process Kevin was so helpful and great to work with. During the actual reception every band member was professional and kind. The last song was a moment my husband and I will never forget and it was one of the highlights of our reception. If you are looking for a wedding band, BOOK ROLLEX!! Just do it! You will not regret it.. but your feet and legs will be sore for days after from all of the dancing!!

Best wedding band!

The Rollex Band was better than I ever could have imagined! They had all of the guests at our wedding dancing for five hours straight! They were so great to work with throughout the whole experience and accommodated any request I had! Their energy on stage is incredible, and they know how to keep the party going. Plus - they really do play a little bit of everything. Our dance floor was packed all night long. Every guest was impressed with the band, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

High energy, amazing band!

Amazing wedding band!

Rollex brought the party. As soon as they started playing, I don't think I saw anybody sitting down for the remainder of the evening. They were easy to work with, very accommodating in learning specific songs for us, and could not have been more fun on the wedding night. I would highly recommend them.

Rollex band will truly blow your expectations. They kept the entire room up and dancing the entire time. Nobody left the dance floor and it was packed out. From the up lights, horns, and wind blower to Kevin being extremely accommodating and helpful, it was the best night of my groom and I’s life thanks to Rollex. You won’t regret this awesome band. Exceeded expectations

Everything we ever wanted

We were drawn to Rollex from the start due to their encyclopedic song list that goes way beyond typical wedding band fare. As two DC locals, we were delighted to find they had go go in their repertoire as well!

Kevin was amazing to work with from the start. He was professional and clear as to his band’s services and capabilities, and the process with which we should proceed to help him shape a custom night. We had a lot of specific ideas and he was down to make them all happen. We can’t imagine anyone else working so well with our vision!

All night long I was asked where we found the band. People were so into it the floor was crowded before the entrees even came out! The musicianship was incredible and they did just the right amount of interacting with the crowd. The videos of our friends and family enjoying the soul train they organized will forever be some of my favorite memories of the night.

Best decision you'll make while wedding planning

This is quite a late review, as our wedding was about 3 years ago. However, our friends and family STILL rave about how amazing Rollex was, and how much fun they added to our special party! They customized our first dance for us, and were happy to shorten the father-daughter/son-mother dances to keep the evening moving. I wish I could have them sing "Purple Rain" to us over and over again :) I hope your wedding shoes are comfortable, because Rollex will keep you and your guests dancing all night long.

I can't say enough good things about Rollex Band. Everyone kept asking "where did you find these guys!?!". The energy they bring is hard to describe and videos don't do them justice. From the get-go Kevin made us feel comfortable and we were confident they were going to rock the house. In one word, the Rollex Band is **incredible**! They brought amazing energy, talent, and were super easy to work with! So professional! I opted to add the horns and it was worth every penny. We hired the Rollex Band for our April 2018 wedding, and they were phenomenal. I actually confirmed that they could play on our wedding date before I booked our event venue. I did so completely blindly - I had never heard them perform before and went completely by reviews. I’m very glad I did!

For more than one year leading up to our big day, we communicated with Kevin via email about logistics planning. Kevin is extremely detailed, prompt and a great communicator all around. When I finally met him in person, he was just great. Fun fact is that he is an accountant by day!

Whatever sound needs you have on your wedding day, Rollex can provide it. They brought two sound systems, one for our ceremony and one for our tent during cocktail hour, in addition to an acoustic ovation guitar (that a childhood friend of mine was playing during the ceremony). When I got to the venue 2.5 hours before the start of our ceremony, Rollex had already set up one of the sound systems. That was impressive. I appreciated it that they were on time and on top of things.

You will love the grand entrance they do for you - they really get the crowd going and excited. I have a foreign last name that is difficult to pronounce. Rollex got it perfect when they made their announcement of the wedding couple. They are true professionals. They’re just good people all around. They learned a new song for our first dance, and also played a beautiful rendition for the father-daughter dance. Then they got everyone on the dance floor for a big group dance before dinner.

When they performed after dinner, they were amazing. When I say amazing, I mean that they are so good that they make songs sound better than the original versions. You can tell that they have performed as a group for a long time. They have great chemistry. They even got my grandmother dancing, which I didn’t expect to happen at all.

I'm out of space, but if you're considering hiring Rollex, just do it! They bring the party!

Rollex are amazing. They did my sister's wedding 6 years ago and I was thrilled they are still at it so I could hire them for my wedding. I have no idea how they do this every weekend and maintain such a high level of energy and enthusiasm, but I really felt like I was their top priority throughout the process and certainly on the night of. They are the #1 thing our wedding guests have been raving about. It was certainly the only wedding I've ever been to where the bride and groom crowdsurfed! They even did a beautiful job with Hava Nagila. To top it all off, their pricing is great compared to other options. You would be crazy to hire anyone else!

Rollex played for our daughter's wedding reception at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Everyone praised the band! Kevin was very professional and easy to work with. They helped to create a very fun and memorable evening. Highly recommend!

There are not enough words to express how much my husband and I loved having the Rollex Band play at our wedding. They are hands down what made our wedding reception so Amazing!! From the moment we booked them, they were organized, professional and very easy to work with. They got the reception going from the moment the bridal party walked in for introductions. Everyone old and young were up and dancing all night and they sang a large variety of music. They even sang special songs we had requested of them and they did a phenomenal job doing it. Our guests loved them so much and are still talking about how great our wedding band was. They are worth every penny and more!! Hire the Rollex Band, you won't regret and will have the wedding reception of the year!

Simply the best!! Aside from choosing my husband, selecting the Rollex Band for my wedding was the best decision I made! They had our guests dancing before the salads were even served!!

This is the first review I've ever done in my life. It makes me so happy to be able to tell everyone how fantastic and professional Rollex is. ROLEX was absolutely amazing to work with leading up to and on my wedding day! I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They were extremely professional and knowledgable, not to mention they really got the party going and made everyone feel comfortable on the dance floor! I wouldn't have wanted anyone but them to perform on such a special day!

Hiring Rollex was the best decision we made! I was a little hesitant to hire a band we did not hear perform in person but they blew us away at the wedding. Kevin was super-easy to work with and very quick to respond to my emails/questions. The band learned 3 new songs for us and kept the dance floor packed all night long! Multiple guests commented on how great the band was and I definitely recommend hiring them!!

Rollex Band is awesome! Our wedding guests are still talking about how fantastic the band was and how much fun they had dancing. Rollex brought a ton of energy, played to the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night. Kevin was very responsive, thorough and accommodating. They were very flexible with the proposed timeline and adjusted so smoothly that guests didn't even know we were slightly off schedule. They did an amazing job learning our first dance songs. Rollex Band was without a doubt a highlight of our wedding - they are absolutely phenomenal singers and entertainers. The only time the dance floor was slightly less than full all night was during the 15 minutes of a beautiful sunset when guests ran outside to take pictures, and then quickly returned to the dance floor.

Kevin was great leading up to the wedding - over email he helped us with song selection, listened to all of our scheduling requests, and put everything together to make the best party!! As a result, the night unfolded exactly as we envisioned it. They started out the party by getting everyone hyped up for our big entrance and then played a cut of a song we had given them for our first dance. Afterwards, they played Hava Nagila to get everyone on the dance floor and thus started the dance party before salads were even served and it basically never stopped! We absolutely loved their renditions of Stand by Me (Father/daughter dance) and How Sweet It Is (mother/son dance), and they even surprised us by learning Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud and serenading us during dinner, which was absolutely beautiful, so sweet, and incredibly above and beyond. They ended the night with an big surprise to Don't Stop Believing, and while I don't want to give too much away there was crowd surfing involved :) When the band had to take breaks to eat, they brought a DJ with them who was fantastic.

I can't even tell you how many people came up to me throughout the night (and for days after) either asking where we'd found such a great band or to excitedly tell me that they had gotten the band's business card! If you want a party with nonstop dancing and fun, I can't recommend Rollex enough.

Rollex was a fantastic band. Kevin - the band manager - promptly responded to all emails and communicated with enthusiasm! The band did an amazing job with announcements, transitioning between events and DJ music, and really kept the energy up throughout the night without being too loud or overwhelming. These are professional performers who know how to put on a show! The DJ played all our requested songs and was also great. I would absolutely recommend booking this band for your wedding night! We also had Rollex provide the microphone audio for our ceremony (officiant mic and mic for bride and groom). The sound quality of the mics was great and there was someone monitoring the audio throughout the ceremony, which was a relief. I would recommend them for ceremony audio, as well as band services for the reception.

The Rolex Band made our daughter's wedding reception the hit of our guests' lives! We are still getting comments about the outstanding entertainment they provided. Other reviews highlight the great dance music provided, but I want to comment on Kevin's exceptional customer service. From his cheery "Hello!" on the phone, to his instant email replies, working with him was a pleasure. It was so important to him that we have the best experience possible and dance music to keep everyone on the floor all evening. The DJ played all my requested songs during the band's break, and the Journey finale will never be forgotten! His band absolutely loves performing and it shows with their enthusiasm demonstrated thoughout the night. Thank you Rolex Band!!

I'd just like to say thank you for the bands' amazing contribution to our Wedding Reception last Saturday at the Legg Mason Tower.

Absolutely everyone who attended commented how great you guys were. It was clear from the packed dance floor all night long how much you and the rest of the band helped contribute to a very memorable evening.

Initially I had reservations about the music being too loud during dining, but everything was so well coordinated that my concerns proved to be totally unfounded.

The music you provided for the more intimate moments and special dances were extremely well presented, and, the wilder group moments, when your wonderful vocalists joined our guests on the crowded dance floor, enhanced the fun and enjoyment.

Again, thanks for helping make this very special weekend so memorable.
I would, 100%, recommend Rollex Band for your wedding reception. They were fantastic.

I can't tell you how great of a time we had at our wedding this weekend. We wanted to have a party and you guys certainly delivered. From the start when you announced the wedding party you set the tone that we were going to have nothing short of a fabulous time. The song choice was excellent and had everyone on the dance floor all night. Lindsey & I both enjoyed the John Legend serenade. That was very memorable as well as bringing us up on stage for our Journey performance. It gave us get a chance to feel like rock stars. I also really appreciate the DJ giving us one last song and playing the Cupid Shuffle. All of our guests were incredibly impressed and complimented you guys the entire night. We couldn't be happier with your performance. Thank you for making our night.

We would recommend Rollex Band to ANYONE who wants to have a fun wedding with lots of dancing!!! All of my guests raved about the band, and I was beyond thrilled with them. They are a great value compared with other bands in the area. Kevin (the manager and band member) was super responsive at all times and really made it easy for us! Rollex Band kept our party rocking! My planner noted they were on time, totally respectful of the space, and easy to work with. They played a great mix of music, had lots of energy, and packed the dance floor. I had more than one guest tell me the next day they were sore from so much dancing! Even the music they played during their breaks was fun. Do note that they require payment by cashier’s check or certified check or cash (I get it, there’s a risk w personal checks) but it means a trip to the bank. That small administrative thing aside, they were fantastic! I wish I could go back and relive the party again!
