My 9 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, mom, mother n law, grandma, sister n law and I all got our hair and makeup done at the Glendale location. My grandma is a client and recommended Rolfs Salon for our wedding hair and makeup and I am so glad we did! They let us cater breakfast finger foods from AJs while we were getting ready for the big day, they had fun music playing, and there was an entire team on board ready to have wedding fun! Everyone was so nice and did a fabulous job on our hair and makeup. I was told my hair and makeup was flawless, and it really was! Thank you so much!! -

Marlene Sent on 11/01/2012I will admit that I was hesitant to travel to a salon on my wedding day instead of having the stylists come to me, but after our wonderful experience at Rolfs Salon I would highly recommend! They have a beautiful, newly remodeled bridal area where you can spend some quality time with your gals while getting ready. Some of my bridesmaids brought photos with them of hairstyles and the stylists perfectly recreated them and others were able to simply describe what it was they wanted and their talented staff was able to make everyone look beautiful.
I met with Faye for my hair trial and Laura for my makeup. On the day of the wedding, I gave them both feedback on how long my hair/makeup lasted and they both were very responsive and addressed my needs accordingly. I couldn't have been happier than with these talented ladies. Finding someone to trust with your beauty on your wedding day is tough to do, but with any of the talented women that work at Rolfs Salon, you are in great hands!
I would definitely recommend going with airbrush makeup as it makes your skin look supersmooth and the individual eyelashes; they are incredibly light and natural looking. Everyone looked phenomenal! -

Jennifer Sent on 03/25/2009Overall, the experience was good. The staff is friendly and courteous. However, I wouldn't say that the results were necessarily worth the cost. A photo reference was provided but my hair did not turn out much like it.
My sister got her makeup done there also but I thought they made it too "caked" on.

Mrs. Sent on 04/05/2012I went to Tre' at Rolf's Salon in Chandler, Az to have my makeup done. I didn't get a consultation done because I didn't have the extra 80 bucks laying around to pay for it. I know quite a bit about makeup and I am pretty good at doing my makeup and other's makeup so I was aware of the things that I wanted specifcally and how I wanted it done but wanted a professional to do it because after all it was my wedding day and I didn't want to do anything on my own. I also wanted the airbrush foundation so that was another reason I wanted a professional. I figured Rolf's was a very reputable company for hair and makeup that was another reason I felt comfortable going to the makeup artist without a consultation. I got there and the receptionist was EXTREMELY nice and so sweet! When I was approached by the makeup artist she didn't seem very happy or in a good mood. She looked like she had no life in her at all. Now I know people have bad days etc thats fine but she also knew it was my wedding day and when your in that type of industry you fake it happiness to keep your customers happy. I didnt let it get to me though. I showed her a picture of what I wanted the colors, how I normally do my eyebrows and eyes and that I wanted my eyes to really stand out and have a flawless face. She got to work on my makeup and I could feel she was barely putting anything on. When she was doing the airbrush there was literally barely ANY foundation coming out of the airbrush gun. She didn't really seem to know what she was doing with the airbrush gun. I have had airbrush makeup before and this was very different. Then she started my eyebrows and I told her that I normally highlight them in black since my hair is black... well she highlighted them in brown. I have very thin faint eyebrows and she barely highlighted them. She layered my lipstick on 4 times bigger than my actual lips. She had a hard time putting 1 of the fake eyelashes on and did not darken my blush or eyeshadow very much at all. I know personally then when you are taking professional pictures your makeup needs to be more over the top than normal. She didn't use eye liner on my top eye lid so you could see the line when my lashes were and my eyes did NOT stand out. Needless to say I did not have a very good experience and ended up paying 80 for the service and tipped her 20 cause I didn't want to seem cheap. During the makeup session the other girls in the salon everytime they walked by gave nasty looks to me and 1 of my bridesmaids. It wasnt the best experience. When I got to my venue I ended up having to go over all of my makeup to make it look photo ready. I won't every go back there again.
