Beautiful & Affordable!!

Our lady Charity was there from day one and she really helped make our day special and very accommodating with our vendors we brought in!! Really helpful with any questions we had so made planning very easy. Thank you Rocky Mount weddings!!

Reception for daughters wedding

I recommend Rocky Mount to anyone having an event! Charity and her staff were professional, polite, kind and extremely responsive to our needs! I’m so happy with choosing Rocky Mount! This was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding! Charity, thank you so much for making my daughters reception an event that she and her husband will never forget!

The Wedding I Always Wanted

This place was absolutely stunning. I’m someone who loves the outdoors and minimalism and Rocky Mount was perfect for my ideal day. We had them do our food and I had so many guest tell me how delicious the pull pork and mashed potato bar was. Charity is so sweet and helpful and she was great as my wedding day coordinator. I will definitely recommend Rocky Mount to any engage couple who is looking for a venue.

Awesome Experience

My daughter's baby shower was held at Rocky Mount. It is a beautiful place. The day was perfect! Charity went above and beyond to help us and accommodate all of our needs. Super sweet people!

Best day ever

We had the absolute best day ever! The place is absolutely stunning and perfect for our outdoor wedding. Charity is the most amazing help when it comes to all things wedding related. We wouldn’t have made it through the day without her guidance for sure. We will definitely be booking here for future events.

Everything we could have ever hoped for and more!

Charity is a jack of all trades - she helped make my day the absolute best day possible. She volunteered her input when I needed it (which was often) and even me multiple options. She executed everything to the point that I didn’t have to lift a finger. I would highly reccomend this venue to any bride that wants to be taken care of the way that I was yesterday. Rocky Mount cares about their clients, brides, and their families and that’s all anyone could hope for ❤️

Mother of the Groom

This venue and the owners are amazing! They made sure every detail was handled and went way above and beyond to see our family’s day was perfect! They catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, the food was homemade and they were open to preparing what we wanted which was refreshing. The entire staff was professional and personable, they made us feel like we were at home. Almost makes me want to have another kid to get married because they made it sooo wonderful and easy...almost!

Stress-free and Dream Come True - Beautiful Day!

We absolutely loved having our Wedding at Rocky Mount Wedding & Events! It was a dream come true! It truly made our day so special from start to end. They were so easy to work with and provided everything there. All vendors were coordinated through them and the owners make it easy by taking a lot of the worry and stress out of the day. From getting ready in a dreamy, elegant and charming house from the late 1800s, to having our first look walking out of the picturesque wrap around front porch, to having a fairytale like ceremony under the shade and breeze of huge oak trees, and literally walking steps into our reception under a beautiful pavilion with chandeliers. The food was absolutely amazing! Our guests loved the BBQ and mashed potato bar🙌🏻. I showed a picture of the type of cake I wanted to the owners of the venue and they did better than I imagined (it was a semi naked 3 tier with Italian creme icing😊). We not only loved the day but our guests did as well. We have received so many calls and txts from them about how beautiful and stress-free the venue and day was! From the girl who was worried about a stressful wedding, it was the best day and I would choose Rocky Mount Weddings and Events if I had to do it over - hands down!

Rocky Mount is breathtakingly gorgeous! Having my wedding here was a fairytale. We had our ceremony in the garden in front of the fountain and our reception under the pavilion. My theme for my wedding was "fairytale romance" and this venue was perfect for theme. At the reception, many of my guests came up to me to tell me how beautiful the venue was. However, my 5 star rating is not based solely on the beauty of this venue. The service was AMAZING as well. Bracken was always there for me, answering my million questions and helping me anyway he could. He was truly spectacular. If you are looking for a venue in central Alabama that is straight out of the fairytale books and will blow your guests away, I would highly recommend Rocky Mount.

Rocky Mount staff handled everything on my daughters wedding day, from setup to catering, to cleanup. All we had to do is show up...it was wonderful!

Rocky Mount is a beautiful venue! We got married at the end of May when all the flowers were blooming and the trees were amazing. It was truly a breath taking site. Bracken and his staff were very kind and professional. Very easy to work with and they made every little detail I wanted happen on my wedding day. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to get married at. I would recommend them for sure!

Bracken was always so prompt in responding. He was helpful in planning our decorating and making it a reality. He was kind and helped as a wedding coordinator for the day of the wedding. I would do it over again . It was all I ever wanted! ^_^

We had our wedding ceremony and reception as well as the rehearsal dinner at Rocky Mount. They provide so many services that we only had to get two additional vendors (florist and photographer). We used a florist they work with pretty often. It is a BEAUTIFUL venue and we had to do very little decorating. The food they catered and the cakes were delicious and went FAST.

Bracken was always very helpful and able to provide whatever I needed or wanted for our daughter's wedding. The home is beautiful and the grounds are wonderful and peaceful, with flowers and greenery very lush!

Having our wedding at rocky mount gave us the wedding of our dreams! It was the most stress free and truly worth the money! Also if you are thinking outdoor wedding the venue is beautiful and the back up for rain is just as great!

Rocky Mount was absolutely wonderful for our wedding. Bracken did a great job making sure everything was where it should be and the other vendors knew where to go with things. We opted to use Rocky Mount for the catering of our wedding as well and their food was delicious. We used vendors that Bracken was able to put us in contact with and they all turned out to be reasonably priced and provided excellent service. It was great that Bracken was available to be as involved as we wanted or as uninvolved as we might have wanted. The only thing that I thought might have been a problem was that there was another event planned for the night of our rehearsal but Bracken made sure we had plenty of time to run through the wedding and make sure we were all comfortable with what would happen the next day. We were never rushed and he always made us feel like we were his only client for that time. I can't tell you how many times we've heard from our guests that our wedding was their favorite.

I have always passed the venue on the road, however you can not see how beautiful it is unless you take a tour or go see a wedding. My mother had told me if I ever get married again I need to do it at Rocky Mount and that is where I did it!! I didn't look at any other venues because I thought this place was so beautiful and such a great value.

Shelia and her staff worked closely with me to ensure that everything on the day of went smoothly, from orchestrating the processional to finalizing the catering menu. Each time I had a question, I was responded to promptly. The venue and pavilion were positively lovely and worth every penny. I will be recommending Rocky Mount to any area brides who ask for wedding advice- wonderful staff, wonderful service!

Rocky Mount did my daughters wedding on June 23 2012 it was without a doubt the most beautiful event ever. Sharron and her team gave us a memory that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Sharron went out of her way to work with us to give my daughter the wedding of her dreams. She worked with us to show Erin's unique style and flare. Rocky mount events was always there to provide for our every need! They were willing to help us with anything and everything. On the day of my wedding I had nothing to worry about. Bracken took charge and made everything I wanted happen. The location is easy to get to and it is absolutely beautiful! I wouldn't have wanted my wedding day to be anywhere else.

Personally I loved the venue, it's absolutely gorgeous and simple. You really don't have to do a lot to the place because nature provides the perfect decor and atmosphere. Bracken and all his staff are great and are always asking questions to have everything perfect for the wedding day. If you are looking for your venue .. Just go to rocky mount and you wouldn't have to look anymore. ?

Rocky Mount weddings and events was amazing for my wedding day. My wedding day was perfect and most of that goes to rocky mount. Bracken was very helpful in all of the days before the wedding and on the day of. They took so much stress off of me that for me on my day all I had to do was enjoy. Rocky Mount also handled a lot of my personal decorations which turned out beautiful their attention to detail was amazing. They also did my catering for me as well and the food was to die for! Especially the bacon wrapped green beans! If you are thinking about getting married in the Prattville/Montgomery area and are looking for an outside vendor Rocky Mount is the place to go!

My son got married here last year. They did a great job! The food was very tasty , there was enough for all our guest. They made there wedding were dreams come true. They put a lot of work into it.

The location was absolutely beautiful with plenty of parking. Our cakes were wonderful. We had the rehearsal dinner there as well. The meal was great and the staff was very nice. The catering at the wedding was good and the flowers and decorations were better than what we had hoped for. We had some problems over the pricing for everything and when we were trying to settle things two months before our wedding the owner and manager left the country and could not be reached for nearly a month. I am sure that this is the exception to the rule and not a regular business practice, but it still left us concerned. Make sure you get everything in writing with a locked in price on a signed contract. Rocky Mount is in high demand and you have to book early, allowing the prices to increase before your event. Everything was perfect on our wedding day and I would recommend Rocky Mount to anyone wanting an outdoor wedding, but make sure to get a contract and not a verbal commitment.

Rocky Mount venue is beautiful. They are spacious, historic and they do a great job at keeping the bugs away. I would recommend this venue to a friend, but I would suggest rent the venue and find all of your own outside vendors. My first problem with Rocky Mount is how they keep their records. My mom was originally given a hand written quote that the owner didn't remember. Then when we came for additional meetings they could not remember who originally started working with us. My second problem was the price - i felt that they inflate their prices and I would have done better to just find the everything on my own. They quoted us $500 for a velvet curtain and the day before they showed me a sheer purple curtain and asked if it would do (of course I said yes because there wasn't much that would change in that time frame). My third problem with RM has to do with their record keeping. On my wedding day I was bringing everything in and was stopped by my baker and photographer in regards to the fact the owner told the photographer to set up the photo booth in what was supposed to be the cake room. She said that she thought we weren't having a cake because they weren't doing it even though my mom and I told them since day 1 that we were going with an outside vendor. My 4th and final problem would have to be the number of times she came in when I was trying to get ready. First she came in to tell us about caterpillars that were out. . ? Then she helped us with bug spray and i was very happy about that. Then she came yelling about someone needing to move a car - one of which was the grooms car and it stayed and the other belonged to the DJ who was currently unloading. All-in-All Rocky Mount is beautiful venue and their food was tasty, I just wish we were working with people who seemed to care about the customers and not just the money. . .

OWNER RUDE AND DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH, THE DAY OF EVENT, SHE REMOVED A TABLE OUT OF THE RECEPTION AREA WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION, LEAVING IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR US TO DISPLAY OUR FOOD. SHE TURNED THE THERMOSTAT IN THE HOUSE UP, MYSELF AND ALL OF MY GUEST WERE BURNING UP, AND DISCOVERED THAT THE THERMOSTAT HAD A LOCK ON IT, SO THAT WE COULD NOT ADJUST IT. TOWARDS THE END OF THE EVENT, SHE CAME IN AND LITERALLY TOOK MY PURSE OUT OF THE CABINET AND HANDED IT TO ME, AND SAID "DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE?" I WAS TOTALLY EMBARASSED AND HUMILIATED, AND MY GUESTS WERE LOOKING AT ME LIKE "WHAT IS GOING ON?" SO, WE PACKED UP AND LEFT AS SOON AS WE COULD. THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN AND AROUND PRATTVILLE THAT YOU COULD USE, PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME, AND TALK TO MANY PEOPLE BEFORE YOU CHOOSE.

Rocky Mount is a gorgeous venue, however, dealing with the owners makes it not worth considering. There are plenty of other beautiful venues in the area around the same price point, I would advise picking one of those. For a place that specializes in planning weddings & events, they come across as extremely unorganized. I would not recommend them to anyone.
