teamwork, responsive, fun, detailed! A real GEM

I want to make this easy if you are looking for quality services at a fair price. They worked with our budget and listened to all of our sometimes silly ideas. They made us feel heard and appreciated. We were at first just going to do just DJ but we ended up bundling together with photography and video. It is hard to explain through text how good they worked as a team. This is what they stressed to us, their teamwork. and it was clear as our day progressed and everything just ran smoothly. They are really Rockstars at what they do!

Heather is awesome!

We hired Heather for a day of coordinator for our wedding. She was incredible everything ran smoothly, considering I was a bit of a control freak about my wedding. She was able to execute everything we had asked for and the value that she added to our day made me a very relaxed bride.

Hiring anyone from this company is probably the best thing you can do. They are excellent at their jobs they are excellent at communication I was so incredibly happy on my wedding day and I couldn't have asked for someone better.

Amazing Vendor

Where do I even begin! I was at a wedding expo when I came across the Rockstar Wedding booth. I met Diallo there and talk about photography. Spent some time looking at photo albums and a video of photos. Between his personality and photos I knew I found my photographer. I went from just looking for a photographer to hiring an officiant, photography (actually 2) videographer, Photo Booth and up lights. Everything was perfect !!!!! The team worked seamlessly to ensure the perfect day. They were so professional yet personable. It wasn’t just a job for them. You could tell they actually care about their job even going as far as to ensuring all of us bridesmaid had enough to eat and walking around with the box of bagels to make sure everybody was eating it is those little touches that really stand out? I definitely recommend Rockstar Weddings to all Brides, And to be able to hire so many different things with one company really took a lot of stress away from wedding planning. They were really on top of everything after our entrance. I had some immediate family that wanted some pictures and while they were just taking them on phones, the photographer saw and jumped right in and started taking professional pictures. I never had to ask them to do anything, they were already on top of it I have already recommended them to some future brides I know.

Awesome DJs!

We were so impressed with our DJ from Rockstar. They were highly professional, responsive to our requests, and played a fantastic range of culturally appropriate music that kept our guests happy all night. Beyond Expectations

Well y’all, we tied the knot back in November and between the holidays and all the family things, life just swept us up! We got our photos and wedding films back in February and I finally sat down with a sweet tea and some time to reflect, so here goes!

Rockstar Weddings was an absolute dream. At first we were just looking for a planner, but after chatting with Chris and Tanya, we felt so taken care of that we ended up booking most of our vendors through them, and thank the Lord we did.

Our photography experience? Pure magic. We went with an art director and let me tell you, they knew exactly where to shoot. From our dreamy engagement session to our wedding day, every backdrop felt like something out of a magazine. We didn’t want to spend forever posing but still wanted stunning pictures, and honey, they delivered. Every special moment was captured beautifully.
Now the video? I can’t even talk about it without getting teary eyed. Watching it, I’m right back in those moments. I can feel what I was feeling, see our people, and relive every little detail. The day went by in such a whirlwind and these films gave it all back to me. What a gift.

Tanya, our planner, bless her heart, helped us lock down the most perfect ceremony spot. Even though we thought we knew where we wanted to get married, she made sure we had all our ducks in a row. She asked the right questions and checked every detail so the whole day flowed without a hitch. T, we love you!
And DJ Angelo? Y’all. He nailed it. Played everything we wanted, from country hits for our folks to rap and pop so we could cut loose with our friends. That mix was better than most bars I’ve been to in Cincy!

The lighting was gorgeous. The photo booth was so fun. The whole day was perfect from start to finish. If you're even thinking about booking Rockstar Weddings, do it. Ten out of ten. No regrets. They made our day unforgettable and I’ll be forever grateful.

A Lifesaver and a Celebration of Love

We got married in March 2025 in Ferndale, Michigan. Just two grooms excited to throw a celebration that reflected us. We originally had another DJ booked, but once they realized we were a gay couple, they suddenly became “unavailable.” It was a gut punch. Enter Rockstar Weddings.

Not only did Rockstar respond immediately to our last-minute call, but there wasn’t even a hint of hesitation or awkwardness about it being an LGBTQ+ wedding. No weird questions. No disclaimers. Just pure professionalism and warmth.

From the first email to the final dance, they made us feel seen, celebrated, and 100% validated. The DJ brought incredible energy, read the room perfectly, and our dance floor was packed all night. The uplighting was stunning, and their setup looked as amazing as it sounded.

The BEST DJ we have heard

Our DJ was phenomenal and truly the heartbeat of the night. From the grand entrance to the last slow dance, they kept the energy flowing perfectly. What really took things to the next level were the CO2 uplights. As soon as the lights hit and the music dropped, it felt like we were in the middle of a high end club with all our favorite people. The lighting created such a dynamic atmosphere that was dramatic in the best way and made every beat feel bigger. We got chills during the first dance and the dance floor stayed packed all night long. It wasn’t just music, it was a full experience.

easy to work with

Hello, just writing this because my Dj was truly amazing. He kept it moving on time but without rushing us. He played all our songs and it was obvious he connected with the guests because they never left the dancefloor after our first dances. Thank you guys so much!! Ask for Loki, he is hands down one of the best Dj's i've heard.

more than just vendors! magical people!

I can't say enough good things about Rockstar! Chris was the MC/DJ at our wedding in September, and he made everything run effortlessly. He took control of the room with such ease and helped make our grand entrance incredibly fun. Our wedding had a fairy and fantasy theme, and Chris nailed the music selection—it was perfect for the vibe we wanted. The planning process was a breeze; he took our sometimes chaotic and challenging requests and turned them into the most unforgettable night. Heather was our day-of coordinator, and her organizational skills were nothing short of impressive. She brought the perfect touch of structure to our disorganized family, and I honestly don't know how the day would have gone without her. I know it may sound cliché, but this is the absolute truth. matched our expectations and made our day fun and memorable!

They were early, responsive, and followed through with their promises. Everyone had a great time and DJ Angelo was. Our photos turned out awesome, we even got a custom fantasy style picture that we didn't expect. The little details and extras are what set them apart and made them memorable. Our photo gallery turn around time was FAST. I think it was less than 2 weeks! We will be able to show our family our photos over the upcoming holidays instead of waiting half a year like my cousin did lol. Diallo was very easy to talk with and work with on the day of. He was patient and helped us through the process without making us feel pressured. Chris was hilarious and made sure that our vision and expectations were on par with what we received. They really do care and it shows. Overall I would without a doubt recommend rockstar!

They are a must have!

We are so incredibly glad that we found Heather, Diallo, and the rest of the rockstar team to assist us on our wedding day. They were a perfect fit for our backyard tent wedding that ended up turning into a much larger wedding than anticipated. Not only did they make us feel totally comfortable, their knowledge of how ceremonies and wedding days operate was essential to making the experience enjoyable rather than stressful. We saved so much time and confusion by having Heather and her team there to tell us where to go etc. And the pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined. As people who have no idea how to pose for pictures, Diallo took all the awkwardness out of it and we had a great time. He was very charismatic and really went above and beyond. Looking back I can't imagine our day without Heathers leadership. Our timeline would have fallen into shambles lol. Definitely hire rockstar weddings 10 out of 10 would recommend

If I could give them over 5 stars I would. It is finally over, and I'm relieved but it was such a good experience. We booked with Chris and Rockstar last minute because our original DJ cancelled...with a week to go. I was freaking out. We emailed a few vendors and Chris got back to us super fast. The initial response he gave had such good energy and helped us with everything that we went with them. We were NOT disappointed. Dancefloor full, sounded great, you could hear our officiant with their speaker, they took care of everything including keeping us on time, and I am a late person by nature. They really are rockstars.

We are happy with Rockstar

We learned about Rockstar from our friend who got married last year. She had a very romantic video short, and it fit the style we wanted. Their prices are NOT crazy, and they pulled out all the stops for us. After talking to Chris, we ended up booking photography as well, and we couldn't be happier. They have muyltiple album options and the presentation is stunning on the higher ones with the embossing. Their direction on the day was fantastic, we have all the shots from our list plus a ton more, and even some unexpected ones like cocktail hour. They brought a whole team. Thank you for your fast emails and putting our concerns to rest! Great value. 10/10!

Word from a groom

Chris, Diablo, Angelo, Randal, and Mary...this was our team. Photo/Video and DJ is what we went with from them. I let my wife plan most of this I only wanted to do the Dj part because music is important to me, and her too. They left us with unbelievable photos and videos and the party was lit. We like all kinds of music, some of our friends are in an emo punk band, that was no problem. My wife LOVES edm and the last part of the night felt like forest. iykyk. Super fun team, easy to work with, fast responses to all our questions. I knew from the start this was going to be a great match and we were right. Get these guys if you want the most fun at your wedding. My brother already got your contact from us.

Gorgeous photos

We hired Rockstar Weddings Photo and Video team because they put us at total ease when we reached out. They had galleries for us to look at that were amazing, even two from the venue we picked. It was important that we got susnet photos and ones of us and family on the beach. Randall and Diallo gave us a beautiful set of pictures. The shoot was laid back and easy, they kept us on time, and even shot pictures that were requested by some of our family that wasn't on our shot list. We interacted with the video team at the same time, and let me tell you, Chris and Kurt kept our moods up even though we had a little rain (it went away thank God!) and they were easy to work with. They used some different lenses and showed us bits of the footage that looked so good. We LOVE our highlight video, the music was perfect, the ceremony was shot so well. Clear pricing, no surpises, they were great. 10 stars!!!

the name is true

Rockstar was our photographer, dj, and videography and they teamed up and delivered. We had an amazing time as did our guests. The value was perfect and Chris worked with us to fit it all in our budget. Honestly the big three package deal they have is nothing short of astonishing compared to some of the pricing we were getting. Brides, they are fantastic, our photos and videos both made me cry, and Darren and Angelo had our guests dancing the whole night! Thank you to the whole team you guys were excellent!!!

Flew by but was awesome

You guys are the best! Heather was amazing she honestly helped me put together my wedding from just about nothing! Reasonably priced, they exceeded expectations for DJ and Videography and the planning was out of this world. Details make a perfect day

Take this as a huge shout out to rockstar coordination. Heather and her assistant were attentive, knew the setup, knew the vendor plans, knew what was supposed to happen next, and they made it all happen. I honestly didn’t do a thing but show up, get makeup and hair, feel like a queen, and hang out with my friends and family to celebrate! Yes, the process had lots of calls and texts and back and forth but it never felt like work. It felt like having somebody who makes your ideas come alive. We both love EDM and that was a huge part of our day, atypical playlist and bright colors. But heather pulled it to ether and still made it elegant!! Thank you guys so very much from the bottom of our hearts!

friends STILL talking about it

Firstly I'd like to thank Chris at Rockstar for being there every step of the way. Communication was on point and the response times were fast. Chris went on vacation and there were still team members to chat with...we had a LOT of questions. We had one fantastic wedding and everything went pretty smoothly! We had coordination through Rockstar and everything was set up perfectly! Our DJ team was Noah and Angelo and they absolutely crushed the dancefloor, they played everything including brand new remixes (we are into EDM and let them cook during the last hour!) it was awesome. We are excited for our video to come back too, they said before thanksgiving! Thank you guys the team was amazing and we are hearing about it weeks later! 5/5 totally recommend!

These guys know their business. They know how to make a couple feel special. It’s not the rockstar show…we FELT like the rockstars! My husband and I are a little shy until we down a few lol. But we danced all night! I wasn’t going to say extra vows (Brian and I did it privately), but Chris encouraged me and said it would be great for the video…he told me to say it from my heart and I did and now we have that raw emotion recorded forever. There’s so much more. These guys are the best, brides, grooms. They gave us the feeling from the start. It says on their site love is love. I think they really understand that!! =

Lived up to the hype of all the great reviews.

I need to start at the start! Not only did Chris help me with insider venue information that landed us at the venue which was the size we needed and the things we wanted (we wanted mostly DIY but help with catering etc) but then went through and I think the meeting was over two hours, and explained all their services and the reasons for them, and he even told me about some he thought we wouldn’t need at that venue which saved me some money. I appreciated that a lot. We went with them for photography, dj, and photobooth…the final price was so within our budget and our party was awesome! Our pictures made me cry, Diallo really paid attention to detail and listened to our needs. He gave us a sneek peek within 2 days and sent us our gallery much faster than expected. The things that really stood out to us were the little ones, for example Diallo brought us a drink when we were sitting at the head table. This made us feel special and appreciated. Angelo (our dj) was very high energy and made sure our dance floor was constant. He was all smiles and played all of our songs, even our guest requests, people kept telling me how they couldn't believe he was actually playing the music that they wanted since other weddings that they had been to this was not the case haha. They were the best to work with, easy, informative, and we got more than we paid for. HIRE THIS TEAM! You won’t regret it.

Vida’s attention to detail was nothing short of impressive. She crafted a wedding experience that was personalized and flawless. Every aspect was handled with such care, it made us feel security. We are so grateful for her hard work and dedication. What started as nerves slowly but surely turned into excitement. We added planning after we had already booked Rockstar for our DJ and they didn’t let us down.
DJ Angelo (I can't remember his dj name) was absolutely incredible. His mixing and song choices were perfect as the guests were on the floor with us all night. He took our song requests and seamlessly integrated them into his set, ensuring everyone had a blast. His talent for mixing and reading the crowd made the evening flow perfectly. We’ve had so many compliments from guests about how fantastic the music was. Highly
recommended! He brought uplighting as well which looked amazing!

I also want to talk about the communication and whole process overall. We received responses to our questions within minutes and never felt like we were bothering anyone. This made us even more comfortable as we planned our big day!

Top-notch service! Easy communication

Heather's detail-oriented approach transformed our wedding into something extraordinary. Her ability to remember and manage all the little things made a huge difference. She even had an assistant who literally drove ten miles to get chicken nuggets for our niece who has food allergies, we had forgotten to mention to the caterer with everything going on. She took care of everything so we could focus on enjoying our special day together. Helping us find vendors who she had worked with personally and trusted was also the icing on the cake. We didn't have to go through the interview process and basically guess on picking our vendors. Thank you Heather!!! Top-notch service!

Made our day flow easily, professional, outgoing, and fun!

Heather made our wedding day perfect. She was incredibly organized and had a solution for every hiccup that came up. We couldn’t figure out how to bustle my dress, but she was there to help and get it done in a snap. Her attention to detail ensured that every element, from the seating chart to the flower arrangements were exactly as we envisioned. We couldn't have done it without her! Really a special person and helped immensely!

We had Victoria Grace Luxury photographers recommended by Heather. They were amazing. Their experience was evident in every single shot. There were two of them and both were professional and attended to every detail. Our wedding photos are nothing short of spectacular. Mike knew exactly how to

Very professional, reliable and amazing!!

I honestly can not say enough about rockstar weddings, from the minute I contracted them a year and until the wedding they were there for me 100%. Throughout the planning process I was in contact with Chris who always answered my questions almost immediately and always made me feel at ease. Even if I contacted him late at night he would respond first thing in the morning, he always assured me that everything was going to be perfect!! My DJ was Diallo and when I say he was amazing that’s an understatement, all night long everyone was telling me how much they loved him. No one had to request songs cause he read my crowd saw my list of songs and automatically knew the kind of vibe we wanted and it wasperfect !! He went above and beyond he duties as a DJ, I had some minor seating issues during dinner and he told me to sit down and eat and he’ll handle it, I didn’t have to worry about anything! I am definitely hiring him again I just don’t know for what yet lol not to mention while I was doing my dance with my son my 2 year old daughter kept on trying to dance with us at which point Diallo did everything he could to distract her. Best DJ Ever!!!
My photographer was amazing, very professional and patient cause god knows with my bridal party you need patience they are a wild group but he handled it well and made sure I got all the picks I wanted plus extra poses that had everyone wow’d!! This is a rock solid team, no miscommunications which is what people are concerned about when they hire a team that does everything, I can guarantee you there was absolutely no miscommunication with this team they were all on point and worked very very well together!!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Chris and Diallo are simply amazing! They were so fun and professional and kept the whole party going all night! They were great with guest requests. And even played fun music for the kids to get down to as well! They made the whole night and I cannot recommend them enough!

Rockstar Weddings Photographer and Host/DJ

For my wedding we had Randall and Reetu as the photographers and they were great! The album they created for us was perfect and we have so many amazing photos from our wedding day. Reetu was great in helping me pose for my “getting ready” shots while Randall was helping the guys. They were a great team and I would highly recommend them! They made it fun and comfortable. Chris was the host/DJ for our ceremony and reception and we also had a second DJ. Chris was the main point of contact and always responded fast. He helped make our wedding great and memorable. He provides a questionnaire that helps to make sure you incorporate all the different songs and artists you want for your night. He coordinated well with our venue and I would highly recommend working with him. From start to finish and even after the wedding he was great!

Let me start by saying our wedding is in ten days. I am getting married in my hometown, although I currently reside in Orlando. RockStar Weddings (but specifically working with Chris) truly has been amazing! He not only has answered all of my questions and listened to our vision, but he actually met with me in Michigan as well while I was home wedding planning. They have a organized questionnaire which I have locked myself out of 10 times and Chris has been amazing to resend and ensure all of our needs will be met. I am going to follow up with a review after the wedding, but I just have to write to say how amazed I've been working with Chris and his flexibility and assurance throughout this whole process. We have a small band as well and RockStar has been completely accommodating to this as well. I can't say enough wonderful things! Brides, work with Chris! You WON'T be disappointed!

These guys were awesome from start to finish. Easy to meet with, easy to contact in between the meeting and the date. Seriously stress free and they offer WAY more than dj's. We got their photographer Randall, who is amazing, and their photobooth as well. They were in the process of getting a new one when we booked and it didn't disappoint! If we could give them more stars we would. My bride loved our wedding, and when it comes down to it...happy wife, happy life!! Thank you guys!

Rockstar Entertainment delivered beyond expectations!!! They were very receptive to the experience we were looking for and completely understood our vision even though we weren’t the best at explaining it! My husband and I wanted the opposite of your typical cheesy wedding DJ, we wanted HYPE entertainment; a club-level look and sound- that is exactly what they delivered! We also did our backlighting through them… the venue looked beautiful! I loved the energy they brought to our grand entrance and first dance. They had all of our guests stand in a circle around us while we danced… it was one of my most favorite moments! They transitioned our reception seamlessly and kept our guests on the dance floor until the end of the reception! They were so awesome… we asked them to stay for additional time! I am still getting compliments from our guests!!! Well done!

I never knew I needed a Day-of Coordinator but OMG this was my SAVING GRACE on my wedding day! Yvan was my amazing coordinator! Prior to the wedding, Yvan prepped me on what to expect, offered some ideas and suggestions, and went over checklists and last minute to-dos. Yvan came with an assistant. They were both wearing black aprons filled with wedding emergency kit items such as deodorant, mints, bobby pins, sewing kit, etc. They communicated with my vendors the entire day, made sure guests were happy, kept track of time, location and bridal party! They handled issues like a pro.. I wasn’t even aware of any problems that came up… they just took care of it! They were by my side the whole day making sure I was ok, hydrated me, touched up my make-up, made sure I ate, and most of all made sure my husband and I were enjoying ourselves. I have an endless list of how helpful they were and I’m forever thankful they were there for me that day!

Me and my guest had an a blast. Felt like i knew Diallo forever, because he was making sure I was happy with everything and I had no problem communicating with him.. dj Loki defiantly kept all the guest entertained and on the floor!! Floor was full all night!!!

These guys MADE my wedding. We booked them for DJ, photobooth, and photography. They killed it with the dance floor. There was one song for my new in laws that they loved to dance to, and they didn't have it. What did they do? Buy it on the spot. They were SO committed and Chris and Diallo were amazing MCs as well as getting the right music on to keep us on the floor. I'm not a big dancer, but I hardly left the floor myself. The photobooth was a HUGE hit, and the videos were a great touch. They gave us our digital copies of all photos and videos not even 24 hours after our wedding. Randall and Vesna were amazing for photography too. Very relaxing, knew what they were doing, and we loved our engagement photos, so I'm sure our wedding day photos would be the same. Thank you so much for making our day SO amazing.

What a great company! Incredibly professional, their DJ, Chris, was really helpful and asked lots of questions to make sure our day went right.

They were prompt, entertaining, and very involved every step of the way. I highly recommend using these guys if you're in the area!

Planning a wedding in 6 weeks is not something I would recommend to most people. You'd have to either be a) crazy b) laissez faire or c) all of the above to make it come even close to working. Enter Rockstar Weddings. They were awesome and really made the event run smoothly. I felt like I actually had time to enjoy my guests - which is all I ever wanted. Thanks Yvan and Diallo - you guys rocked!

Married August 4th, still don't have my video or a resolution.

I have waited for a long time to write this review, but I can’t wait anymore. I was married on August 4, 2018. I was really excited to use the company because everything was done by one company and I didn’t have to worry about setting up multiple companies.
The day of I have no big complaints. Our photos turned out pretty and even though we missed some shots such as individual ones of the bride and groom, I take responsibility because I didn’t request them. But from then its just been problems.
I understand it takes time for photos to be sorted and edited, but I did not receive my engagement or wedding photos until I reached out (or at least that’s what I feel). I finally got my wedding flash drive at the end of November but did not receive any of my engagement photos (which were took in May). Finally, December 4, 2018 I received my engagement photos drive and both books (which were beautiful). That was the first time I saw more than 2 engagement photos.
On January 2nd I reached out to Chris to find out about the video (almost 5 months after the wedding). He said the video was being worked on. Don’t worry about it. The company he used had fallen behind and he had hired another person so it was coming. On Feb 27th, I reached out again. He finally told me that the drive my wedding was shot on was corrupt and he was paying all this money to try to get the footage back and he would let me know what was going on as soon as possible.
On April 1st, I reached out again to find out what was going on with the video and asking for a refund because its been 8 months since I got married and I have not received anything. And I no longer wanted the video. He states that they are still working on the video and they are going to send some type of refund. I wanted my entire amount back. He states that they are still going to attempt to recover footage and if they HAPPEN to get any back, they will send me something.
Its been 17 days. I still haven’t heard anything. I am SOOO disappointed in this company with the lack of communication. It should not be my job to reach out every few months to find out what’s going on. I understand issues with technology happen. But take responsibility. Why should I spend money to not receive product that I didn’t get? For memories that I will never get back.
I will state, the DJ’s were good. They got people on the dance floor and that’s what we wanted! The photo booth was nice. The limo was awesome! They even stopped at McDonalds for us! The photos were very pretty. I was a little upset they weren’t edited but they were still beautiful. But this entire situation has soured our entire thoughts about the company.

I want to start by saying that it saddens me to leave a negative review. It is not the type of person I am, but I have been thinking about leaving a review for the last 3 weeks and I just have to put the information out there.

When we met with Chris, we were so excited to hire them for our wedding. He was laid back and ensured us that ALL of his DJ's and MC's were professional and awesome. I wish I would have met with the DJ and MC they assigned to our wedding first because that was not our experience.

I will start off by giving the good (why I gave them 3 stars and not less). The DJ (Lyric) was wonderful. He read the crowd, played music that people wanted to dance to, and interacted with all of my guests beautifully. He felt like a friend and blended in with the group so well. He even danced a little to keep the dance floor hype. HE WAS GREAT!

Now onto why I was disappointed, the MC was AWFUL! She was yelling at our guests to sit down or they would not be served dinner. We are a loud group but that is an unacceptable way to grab our guests attention. As my husband and I sat down and were served our salads she asked if they were being fed too (of course they were, but my guests had not even been served yet). She did not conduct herself in a professional manner at all. To make matters worse, by the end of the night she was completely WASTED. She was slurring her words, swaying back and forth, and acting completely unprofessional. So much so that the DJ kept apologizing for how she was behaving.

I am not going to discourage anyone from using this company as I do believe they have talented/professional employees on staff (Lyric was fantastic). I will however urge you to meet with who they assign for your event beforehand.

Wedding album lost.

WEDDING ALBUM LOST.
Our wedding was in November 2019. As of March 2020 we still have not received our wedding album. We tried contacting Chris in December. In January we were told the album was almost done. It is now March and we still do not have our wedding book.

Hello this is Chris, I spoke with you this morning regarding this matter. As discussed via text, and email, your album IS NOT LOST. The product is something special. It is handmade in Europe and the printer outsources the leather binding to different factories. There have been some substantial logistacal delays due to current health concerns. These are printed in Italy, where coronavirus is shutting everything down. Your wedding WAS in november. The first. And you DID order an album. The edits AND the album preview were delivered. You were at the tail end of the season and then Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NYE all happened as well. We do say four months, and we are past that by nine days. It is being shipped by early next week per the printer. And I will fedex it to you AS explained earlier today. We pride ourselves in excellent service, and are very sorry for the delay.

Don’t use them

I used them for my wedding and I regret it everyday. The photos were awful and nothing like I requested or asked for. They were very unprofessional, the photographer was over 40 hitting on my two underaged bridesmaids. The quality was so bad. They just missed so many things that they should have caught as wedding specialist. They didn’t ever catch my husbands face when he saw me for the first look, how do you miss that? I’m disappointed in myself for choosing them. Don’t do it!!

Hello. I’m sorry to read this. We checked our calendar and there are no Erica’s or Eds on the date in question. Nobody has reached out with concerns, which is troubling because of course we would want to know how to remedy the situation. We take pride in our business and have had the same photography team for over ten years and accusations like this have literally never been made. I’d like to get to the bottom of it. Please call and speak with either Diallo or myself.

I have copies of every picture from every wedding we shoot. I would like to go over your concerns with them as well, as our nationally published team shoots beautiful work on a consistent basis. If you want a specific image edited etc please let us know. We offer this to all clients but sometimes it’s missed in the contract small print! Thank you again for your time! Awaiting your response!

Guest's Perspective on RockStar Weddings

I went to a wedding as a guest and as a date for one of the groomsman that was run by RockStar Weddings and it was poorly run.

The coordinator was 3 hours late, which caused the bride to work out issues that arise during the wedding day and delegate the bridesmaids/groomsmen for help, instead of focusing on getting ready and enjoying the special day. The officiant made an inappropriate speech during the ceremony, missed parts that was listed on the wedding program like exchange of the rings and pronounced the couple's names wrong multiple times. At dinner, I was sitting close to the head table and overheard an argument with the bride and DJ that was unprofessional and should have been handled by the coordinator, not the bride.

Again, I was a guest and noticed these things. When I heard additional context and stories from the bridesmaids and groomsmen and found out that all of those people were from the same company, it made me upset. I understand that weddings don't go to plan sometimes, but you adapt and stay professional. The team at RockStar took a beautiful day and left a large cloud overshadowing the event with their unprofessional and combative attitude. I hope that this is a fluke and not consistent across their weddings, but from my experience as a guest, I wouldn't hire them

Do not use

Our wedding day was impacted by Covid-19. The venue that we selected to hold our reception canceled on us resulting in our wedding to be canceled as a whole. We no longer needed a DJ. Upon contacting Chris at Rockstar wedding he was appreciative of us letting him know and stated that he would work out a solution with us (after numerous emails sent). That solution being we would be refunded if our wedding date was to be rescheduled with another couple or if we could come up with some creative solutions (?). Option 1 was really out of our control and when proposing a split of the deposit amount there were crickets. I continued to follow up with Chris on a regular basis with little to no communication from Rockstar Weddings. A week before our initial
wedding date, I reached out once again asking where we stand and if we could come to some sort of agreement on the deposit being refunded. Chris stated to hold off as he was currently working with a bride that needed an emergency DJ for our wedding date (4 days before the ceremony date..... seems unrealistic). Ever since, I have yet to hear back. Do not work with this DJ BROKER SERVICE. They are unreasonable and will not support you in any way if any type of unprecedented situations may arise.

ROCKSTAR WEDDINGS IS A DJ BROKER SERVICE, YOU WILL NOT BE WORKING WITH THE ACTUAL PERSON YOU INITIALLY SPEAK WITH.

RockStar Weddings's reply:

Hi Samantha I’m sorry that Covid impacted your date. It impacted all of us. We stated upon signing a contract that deposits are non-refundable, and this money is used to pay our vendors to lock them in so they don’t book on your date. We do have a stable of Djs but our turnover is extremely low. We are not a dj broker service. I did try to get somebody to pick up your date and I was almost successful. I also asked you to assist me in this as it was a way we could transfer the date and nobody loses. It didn’t work out. Contracts have to work both ways. You would hold us to our end on your date, as you should. Our clients must uphold their end as well and so far all of them have been great! I hope all is well with you and I hope if you did ever get your date set that your wedding was wonderful.
