We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner. From the very beginning, communication with Paraskevi was seamless — even though one of us doesn’t speak Greek (only English).
We spoke with several planners over video calls, but we instantly got a good feeling from Paraskevi and felt confident choosing her to plan our wedding in Athens while we were living abroad. From that first conversation, she stood out as professional, kind, and genuine.
For 9 months, we were in touch almost every week — and there were a lot of details to cover. Despite the intensity, every interaction was easy, kind, and constructive. Paraskevi and her team kept everything organized with clear weekly updates outlining what had been done and what was coming next, which made us feel constantly informed and reassured that everything was on track. Paraskevi also helped us manage our budget, helping us stay within plan without ever compromising on quality or style.
She was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. She helped us shortlist and decide on the perfect venue based on our criteria and was always open to our ideas. When we needed last-minute arrangements, she handled everything smoothly and without stress.
As someone (bride) who is very detail-oriented and a bit of a perfectionist, I was initially worried that my search for the perfect choices might come across as difficult or demanding. But with Paraskevi, I did not feel that way. She understood me — my taste, my standards, and my desire to find what felt right for me. She never made me feel guilty for wanting to explore options or fine-tune decisions; instead, she supported me wholeheartedly and always looked for thoughtful alternatives until we found the ideal solution.
For one particular service, I went through six trials — and I genuinely believe my wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without that persistence. So I’m glad I had someone supportive by my side.
Paraskevi also went far beyond what’s in any job description. Her answer to our requests was always, “Of course.” To give a few examples: she helped us look after our dog on the wedding day, arranged for someone from her team to accompany me for two full days of wedding dress shopping, or booked Greek dance lessons for us. These gestures went beyond the wedding planner job description and made us feel truly supported.
When we wanted to work with different providers than the ones she usually recommends, she was open and professional. She contacted them, coordinated everything seamlessly, and made it all work without hesitation. The only times she expressed a different opinion were when she believed something might affect the aesthetics. And in that case, her recommendation ended up being one of the things we loved most about our wedding, and we were so glad we trusted her judgment.
Every time we visited her office, she was warm and welcoming — always offering us coffee and making us feel completely at home. And as a groom, one moment that really stood out to me happened just a few days before the wedding, when I was clearly exhausted from running around finalizing details. Paraskevi handed me an energy drink and a protein bar to keep me going. It might sound small, but it meant a lot — it showed how thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind she is.
We also really appreciated her creative and sophisticated vision. She brought beautiful ideas to the table that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. While we tend to be more practical and detail-focused, she complemented that perfectly with her creative eye and sense of harmony — our brainstorming sessions were fun, inspiring, and productive.
We organized our wedding from abroad while managing busy work schedules, yet we did’t feel like we had to chase for answers or updates. Paraskevi and her team were always available, proactive, and calm — the kind of presence every couple needs during such a big moment.
On the wedding day, everything ran perfectly. Even when a taxi strike was suddenly announced from midnight to 6 a.m., Paraskevi somehow managed to organize transportation for guests who needed it. Our families and friends were equally impressed by how smoothly and professionally everything was handled — several mentioned how calm, coordinated, and well-executed everything felt, which we think is truly commendable.
Wedding planning isn’t easy — especially when doing it from abroad. But Paraskevi made the process positive, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable. It was clear that her goal wasn’t just to plan a beautiful event, but to make the journey itself a good experience — and she absolutely succeeded.
We’ll always be grateful for her warmth, patience, creativity, and professionalism. If you’re getting married in Athens (or anywhere in Greece!) and want someone you can completely trust to handle every detail with care, artistry, and genuine kindness, we couldn’t recommend Paraskevi enough. -

We couldn’t recommend Helena and Rock Paper Scissors more highly. From our very first phone call with her, we knew she was different from the rest. She’s professional, no-nonsense, and straight to the point, which was exactly what we needed.
Helena was incredible at communicating with us throughout the entire process. She kept us organised, managed all the vendor conversations, and set up countless calls with photographers, DJs, and celebrants. With both of us working full-time in London and caring for a newborn, her guidance was invaluable and kept us sane.
Even though this was a destination wedding, Helena made it feel effortless. Every detail was handled so smoothly that we never once felt the stress of planning from afar. Our two-day wedding in Athens ran perfectly from start to finish, and we can honestly say it was the best weekend of our lives - all thanks to her.

Our Wedding at Island, Athens!
Paraskevi and the RPS team were the perfect choice for our wedding. The standard that they set from the get go in our first meeting was upheld throughout the months of planning. We were truly looking for planners who would ensure a stress free process for us considering our very busy lifestyle and that’s exactly what we got. Paraskevi and her team handled everything with care and diligence and ensured we were always happy every step of the way. They constantly provided us any re-assurance we needed and were very responsive to all of our requests, questions etc. We especially loved the weekly updates we received. All of our friends and family were always so surprised when we would say we weren’t stressed for our wedding - but that was all thanks to Paraskevi truly handling everything for us.
As for the wedding day itself, everything went perfectly and seamlessly and we truly can’t imagine how much work went on behind the scenes that we definitely don’t even know about. From the flow of the day, to the aesthetics, attention to details and the organization/method to the madness, everything went perfectly. We are so grateful for Paraskevi and her team for truly allowing us to enjoy the wedding planning process and providing us with a wedding that surpassed all of our dreams and expectations.
Paraskevi is just a ray of light and brings such a calming and peaceful energy that working with her was incredibly seamless and memorable. We would highly recommend choosing them!

Planning a wedding is always a big undertaking, but planning one in another country especially when you’re not living there adds a whole new level of complexity. We are based in London and had our wedding in Athens. From the start, we knew we needed a planner we could fully trust, and working with the RPS Events team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Greece.
We came in with a clear vision that didn’t necessarily fit the traditional aesthetic often seen in Greek weddings, so it was incredibly important for us to work with a team who not only understood what we were going for but could bring it to life beautifully. The RPS team did exactly that. I am half greek and speak the language but even then, it was so useful having a planner that knew our venue and a lot of vendors. But we also loved that when we found our own vendors - like our florist for example - they were so open to working with her and now continues to do so which is great! A lot of planners will make you only work with their vendors which can sometimes be annoying if none of their aesthetic matches what you’re looking for so this was really great!
I’m someone who wanted to be really involved in the process, I actually run my own corporate events business and also just had an clear vision and the team never once made me feel like that was a problem. They were collaborative, open, and so kind in the way they guided us. I felt supported and heard throughout, and I always appreciated their honesty - especially when it came to where it made sense to invest or save in our budget.
In the lead-up to the big day, they were consistently responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly organised. On the day itself, they were on it, and my partner and I were able to truly relax and enjoy the experience knowing it was all being handled with care.
Even after the wedding, the team has continued to check in. Genuinely lovely people.

Helena and her team were amazing! From the first moment we "e-met", we felt comfortable and calm. With my family in the US while we were living in Greece, Helena and her team helped make all of our wedding planning smooth and seamless. We had weekly communication to keep us organized and zoom calls often so we could all be a part of the wedding planning process. Helena offered us connections with such amazing vendors and she and her team were with us every step of the way for every question, idea, thought, or worry. She and her team helped us feel secure throughout the whole process!

When my fiancé and I were looking to plan our wedding, we knew we wanted to do Greece (destination for us since from USA) but did not know how to start. We found Helena and the RPS team from some other reviews and WOW! We found everything we were looking for and more from Helena and the RPS team. They were extremely professional, responsive, and detail oriented. Each week we got tasks to complete which really took the stress out of the planning process and made the lead up to the event seamless. They listened to our ideas and the vibes we were looking to create then turned it into something spectacular, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the planning process. When the wedding finally arrived we felt completely at ease and really felt that we had an incredible partner with Helena. Fabulous, Perfection, Professional and so much fun!!!
We worked with Paraskevi and her team at Rock Paper Scissors for about 18 months in preparation for our wedding in September 2024. We had it at Island Art and Taste, Private House, Athens.
They were instrumental in our preparation and on our wedding day. Organising a wedding from Australia was no small task! We felt so taken care of and listened to. They were professional and focused on all the details and really saw us as a couple - not just another wedding.
Every process and choice was seamless, from choosing flowers, hair and make up, our photographer, our celebrant, to the design of the tables and the pintables. Nothing was too much. And Paraskevi and her team answered all our questions and was on hand to guide us in what we wanted.
Even on the wedding day, Paraskevi and her team were there to help with all our guests and manage the logistics when it started raining!
We weren't stressed or worried about anything on the day because we knew the team had it handled. Which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the day with our loved ones. That was so important to us and we will be forever grateful for Paraskevi and her team for that.

Working with Paraskevi and the RPS team was an incredible experience! Living in the US, we knew planning a destination wedding in Greece would be impossible without help. Outstanding planners
My husband is Greek and we were keen to marry in Athens, but we live abroad so needed feet on the ground. We contacted several planners but RPS were clearly the best option from the start. They got our concept instantly, were both creative and professional throughout with fantastic organisation and communication. The wedding itself and the drinks the night before were absolutely spectacular. Everything went without a hitch and it meant we could enjoy our nights and friends and family. I’ve been told by many guests it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever seen and the credit belongs to Helena, Asimina and the rest of RPS. They are the absolute best professionals! Communication was great from the beginning and we felt and instant connection with Paraskevi! She seemed very knowledgeable about the different venues and she suggested even other venues we didn't know/considered. We particularly liked the fact that we felt like we could also use our own vendors for some parts of the wedding eg. hairdresser / make up artist / made our own napkins, which was a great option to have as most of the other planners we had a meeting with were adamant we only use their vendors! They helped us a lot to envision our wedding and the vendors they work with are the top of the top! They go above and beyond to reply and help even outside normal working hours! Everything went smoothly also during the wedding day they had arranged/ coordinated everything and I had a very stress free wedding day and could enjoy it to the maximum! An Amazing Fairytale Wedding Andros!
We recently had the privilege of experiencing our 3-day wedding in Andros, and I cannot emphasize enough how crucial the role of our wedding planner was in making our special day an absolute dream come true.
Helena, Asimina and the whole RPS team guided us through the selection process, helping us choose the ideal island that perfectly matched our vision. Their deep understanding of our vision and desires allowed us to make informed decisions, ensuring an authentic and unforgettable experience for both us and our guests. Their ability to understand our vision and transform it into reality was truly remarkable.
Every aspect of our wedding, from the venue selection to the floral arrangements, was flawlessly executed. They took care of every minute detail, leaving no stone unturned. Especially when it comes to the main venue, the RockPaperScissors team created a mesmerizing scenery in the beach from scratch, providing anything needed, from small details like candles and flowers to big ones like lights,stage and manpower. The result was a breathtakingly beautiful wedding that lasted three days and left our guests in awe and us feeling like royalty.
I also need to mention the team's network of trusted vendors and suppliers was truly remarkable. From the talented photographers capturing every precious moment to the exceptional caterers who delighted our taste buds, every aspect of our wedding was executed flawlessly. My (now) husband and I decided to have our wedding in Athens, Greece. We wanted a charming outdoor venue far from the city’s bustle with a view of the water, yet comfortably accessible (since most of our guests were flying in), and with plenty of hotel options and qualified local suppliers. Suburban Athens ticked all of the boxes for us.
We realized we needed a local planner to help us execute this large “project” and bring it to life, and manage negotiations with all the local suppliers. Weddings, even if simple, have a lot happening in the background we later realized.
After a few interviews with several planners, we almost gave up on the idea of working with one until we found Rock Paper Scissors (“RPS”).
Knowing that our wedding celebration was only going to happen once, we wanted to fully experience the investment we were about to make. We wished for our budget to be invested intelligently, and for our wedding to be uniquely ours and not be a variation of a previous wedding from the planner’s shelf. Looking at RPS’s website, we noticed that no two weddings looked alike!
Helena was very respectful of these expectations and very smart in handling this investment to the maximum extent. And based on our descriptions, she found us the most wonderful suppliers.
After signing the agreement remotely with Helena, we met in Athens over a friendly dinner. Business was not to be discussed that night, and it was only about getting to know each other. She’s everything we had wished for in a planner and more. FULLY dedicated, intelligent, and fun. A sweetheart, but a bad a** when necessary. A true problem solver who thinks outside the box, and even a marriage counselor at times! She’s the perfectionist I had always wished to work with.
One more thing that is worth emphasizing: she never ever stressed us out at any point during the process. If anything, she took away from our stress.
Having witnessed some regret stories from several friends over the cost of their weddings and hearing “don’t waste your money” a few times made us hesitant at the beginning. However, almost 4 months following our wedding, we are still very happy with the outcome and feel that we got our money’s worth.
After we got to know each other, our trust grew stronger and Helena earned the right to VETO which she used very wisely during the planning process. We were both respectful of each other’s wishes and concerns, but seeing the event on the day my husband and I were so glad that Helena used her VETO right when she did. She’s been doing this for years and was able to foresee things that we didn’t.
On the day itself, Helena and the RPS team were very hands-on. All my husband and I had to do was to focus on enjoying the celebration and the company of our loved ones.
While Helena managed our wedding, the whole RPS team worked tirelessly in full support! In retrospect, we now realize that we would not have enjoyed the planning process and our special day if it weren’t for Helena and the RPS team who constantly saved the day… every day!
Until today, our guests fondly reminisce on our wedding celebration and recall it as one of the most fun-yet-tasteful weddings that they had attended. We received so many compliments. The vibe was right, and so was the team behind it.
We cannot thank Helena and the RPS team enough for their amazing attitude and hard work!

RPS went above and beyond for our destination wedding on the Athens Riviera. After two years, in 2021, my husband and made the best decision to go through with our planned wedding on a smaller scale on the Athens Riviera. The best wedding decision we made!
We are a UK based couple and always dreamt of having a destination wedding. We found our dream wedding venue in Athens and were contemplating whether we needed a wedding planner. We enquired a few wedding planners to start off with and from the first conversation we had with Paraskevi we decided that a planner would make a world of a difference and that she was the one!
Paraskevi was very enthusiastic, friendly and made us feel very comfortable working with her. She was very transparent in her approach and pricing which is something we found lacked with other planners we interacted with. Paraskevi and her team were hands on from the very start. They progressed things quickly, provided timely updates and were always happy to answer any questions we had (we had a lot)! Our wedding was meant to take place in October 2020 but due to COVID was postponed to September 2021. When we had many doubts and worries, Paraskevi reassured us throughout the whole journey that everything was going to be fine. She always remained calm and positive which is exactly what you need when trying to plan a wedding (especially during a pandemic)! We made it clear from the beginning we were on a strict budget and Paraskevi took this into account with every decision we made and helped us negotiate with the vendors where she could. Also it’s worth noting they work with the best vendors who delivered outstanding results!
She was very honest about things that were not necessary which we massively appreciated. We were still making last minute changes the few days leading up to the big day and Paraskevi was completely patient with us and actioned everything as required.
We managed to visit athens in July 2021 and Paraskevi was able to set up all the necessary vendor appointments, food tasting etc. (some were even set up very last minute upon our request). We also met the rest of the team (Helena and Nikoleta) and they were all so lovely and welcoming!
Our big day was absolutely MAGICAL and was beyond what we envisioned. On the day, Paraskevi and her team did an incredible job managing all the logistics with all the different vendors as well as ensuring the day ran smoothly. They were so calm throughout it all and ensured we enjoyed our day! Many of our guests even mentioned to us how great our planners were. We cannot thank RPS enough for all that they have done to make our dream come to life!
If you’re looking for a planner in Greece, I would not even look elsewhere. Working with RPS was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and now we have made lifelong friends! :) -

Flawless from start to finish
I'm not even sure how I can sum up in words how amazing and professional the Rock Paper Scissors team has been in helping me and my husband plan our dream wedding. Our wedding planner Helena from the very start showed us 100% professionalism, passion and care for our vision and gave us her every effort from adding ideas to my Pinterest boards, to sourcing the perfect vendors to driving us around the island when we came to visit to genuinely caring about us as a couple. She took all our ideas and brought them to life beyond what we even imagined, when I stepped into the venue on my wedding day I felt so overwhelmed with how incredible every single detail looked.. I mean Helena even matched her wedding outfit to our colour scheme (talk about attention to detail)
The wedding day moved flawlessly and even though we had to change things last minute due to Covid restrictions Helena kept me completely calm and I knew I could trust her. Everything was perfect and she out done herself in every way I just cannot recommend her more!

Unbelievable wedding day
I cannot fully express how incredible our wedding was, all thanks to RPS events and especially Helena. We trusted her to plan our wedding in Greece all the way from Canada without even seeing the venue until 2 days before the wedding. Not a single thing on the day of the wedding was out of place.
Everyone talks of things going wrong on their wedding day and how brides and grooms need to adapt and go with the flow, but we didn't have to experience even a second of panic as literally nothing went wrong. Helena's attention to detail was so perfect that our fireworks went off at the exact moment we cut the cake (I know, it was a bit extra but totally worth it if you're considering fireworks!). It was 100x more perfect than I ever could have imagined. Our friends and family were blown away by the beauty and elegance of the venue and decorations. The food was honestly the best we've had in Greece (and we go every year!) which for a wedding was a huge but pleasant surprise. The cocktails were incredible (real fruit daiquiris, aperol spritzes, mastiha sours, you name it).
Helena and her team were always available to chat at our convenience. They went above and beyond to make sure we were relaxed and had as little work to do as possible. Even on the weekend of our wedding Helena spent time with us as we toured the venue and helped calm my nerves.
The best thing about this wedding was that Helena helped bring together 90 of our closest friends and family for an unforgettable day and vacation. It truly would not have been the same without RPS events. Thank you, thank you, thank you! -

Our experience with RPS was organized, detailed, thoughtful, tasteful, and amazing all-around.
We planned a 55-person wedding from Brooklyn, NY that was a perfect, dreamy celebration of love in Crete, GR. I'm sure most guests say this but an overwhelming amount of ours did go out of their way to tell us that day, night, and afterwards, that it was hands-down the most beautiful, magical wedding they've ever been to and could ever imagine.
Our very first communication made us feel like Helena (and later, Nefeli) was the right person we could entrust with such a big overseas planning. Out of the several planners and planning companies we reached out to with specific questions (and an initial idea for a ceremony space) -- RPS was the only one that responded to those specific requests and seemed to have read them at all. It wasn't just a template response asking us our budget, guests number, and location. On top of this, once we viewed their portfolio and saw the variety and care taken with the events they design and produce, we also felt they would be up to the task for two brides who have particular taste (and one mother who is a designer in her own right and is very opinionated on these things!) -- no cut and paste designs or trends would do for us -- and alot of the sample work we were viewing initially seemed to be of that nature. From browsing their work we knew this wasn't the case with RPS and felt immediate relief.
From there, we couldn't have had a better experience. Planning a wedding is already a gargantuan task, but planning a wedding overseas with very individual and specific ideas in mind multiplies the size of this task.
It could have been very daunting, but from our initial skype (which were somewhat frequent as we could manage with the time difference -- not too hard, with flexibility on both parts) through the countless follow up emails and decisions we made on foods, musicians, rentals, genius photographer, amazing DJ, travel advice, the many recommendations and brainstorming back and forths of the designs and styles... we felt at all times that the burden was lifted off of our shoulders and we only had to help push it along minimally, as Helena worked to ensure we didn't worry over all the minutiae of planning and organising such a special event. RPS is extremely professional and we never felt like we needed to follow up or were wondering what the next step was because Helena had it all laid out and was on top of everything in a very organized, helpful manner. RPS also has great relationships with various vendors/talent as well who were a huge part of our day. Photographer G.Pahountis and DJ Aris are two very special people and we felt honored to include them in our day.
We are forever grateful to RPS and the work they did to help us have the wedding of our dreams.
Of course, the most important thing you look for when hiring a company to help plan an event is their talent and skill in design elements as well as their ability to execute the logistics of a vision and event... and RPS fulfilled this end perfectly.
But the highest compliment we can pay and are so grateful to have met and worked with them because of (on top of their professionalism and skill) is the human element: we genuinely felt connected to Helena, cared for, and enjoyed getting to know her throughout the process. Because your wedding is such a personal celebration, her ability to connect with us as clients and humans kept the whole process feeling authentic and seamless.
If we had to go back and start over from scratch, there is no other company we would consider aside from RPS. -

They organised our wedding with such an enthusiasm and professionalism. Everything was perfect and they made our special day such a unique experience!!! We didn't have to worry about anything and our wedding was absolutely amazing. Both the ceremony and the PARTY!!! So, now that my wedding has pasted I am pleased to say that I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to actually work with Helena and Paraskevi and their team. They were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. Their artistic point of view generally creates a unique, elegant and magical atmosphere at weddings and so it happened on our wedding. Rock Paper Scissors Events went above and beyond the call of duty. They were always there when needed and they always tried to find the best solution based on our will and needs! They had a timeline that ensured that everything ran smoothly. They provided prompt response throughout the wedding planning process. Helena (she was mainly our planner) was always very pleasant and cheerful and made us feel like a part of her family. Stelios and I enjoyed our wedding day that they put together so much. We couldn’t have made it without them! They gave us our dream wedding! The decoration was elegant and chic and we received only good feedback from our guests; it was a wedding to remember! Everything fell into place and everyone had an amazing time!
RPS Events are experts at what they do, but also lovely persons. I would highly recommend them!

We feel utterly lucky to be accompanied, the most important day of our lives, with these I-know-what-I'm-doing women. Do not hesitate and let them be creative. I reassure you, you are not going to be disappointed. As I didn't have the time to organise my wedding, Elena took control of all details, reminding, bringing solutions on crisis time, organising and needless to say.... calming the bride!That's me! 100% thumbs up for the RPS duet!

Maria Sent on 04/11/2016It has been nine months since we last saw each other and spoke. We'll be celebrating our first year anniversary in a few months, and as we reminiscence moments lived during our wedding day, we can't forget the people behind that great day.
We never managed to thank you properly for your collaboration and excellent organisation - you exceeded our expectations and we're very grateful. You put love, passion, creativity and soul into our special day, i.e., the true Greek element: "μεράκι".

In hindsight, the surging stress from our extensive travels and the refurbishing of our home in France didn't help us enjoy the preparations as we would have loved to. However, you were always understanding whilst patiently orchestrating a beautiful event. Despite your personal loss at the time [Helena], you were present. We appreciate your presence and commitment.
