Amazing venue, impeccable staff

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Richard and Rockhill Plantation! Planning, communication, flexibility, and finally, the beauty of the venue were impeccable. We booked this venue before anyone even knew what COVID was and the original date was supposed to be July 2020. Richard was so wonderful in helping us navigate what was going on with state requirements and ultimately having to reschedule for July 2021, despite what I am sure was an uncertain time for him and his business. He really did put our needs and comfort first- meeting with us and determining the safest way forward. When we finally got to July 2021and the big day it went flawlessly. Our event coordinator, Erin, who worked with Rockhill Planation was exceptional and Richard who DJ’d the event was amazing. Both of them felt like family and integrated themselves flawlessly into the day. They seemed to be aware of what we needed before it even occurred to us. In fact, many months later, I am still hearing from family and friends about Richard’s clear expertise in keeping the party going and making sure there were no lulls in the receptions flow. Erin, for her part, anticipated every possible contingency. You almost always hear about some sort of mishaps or “that one relative” at weddings- we had none of that because Richard and Erin were on top of it.
Richard and Erin worked amazing with all of our vendors, from catering, to the florist, the officiant, and limo and shuttle drivers- Richard and Erin made sure that any issues were dealt with behind the scenes and had no impact on the festivities. (On that note, I will say I strongly recommend that anyone using this venue consider booking a shuttle service to take guests to and from the venue, as it is located on a country road- just to save yourself the worry of people not having to drive.)
Lastly, the venue itself was beautiful, we scheduled the wedding for 6pm on July 10th 2021, so we were worried about heat and/or rain. Thankfully, the day was beautiful but in addition, the venue has many flowering trees that made the views beautiful (and cut down on our florist bill for those who are budget minded). Richard allowed us to bring a few outdoor games (cornhole) and we had ice tea and water stations in a couple places, so the grounds really felt like a comfortable, family gathering. We had close to 100 people in total and at first were a little concerned about space in the reception hall. However, that turned out to be a needless worry. There was plenty of space for dancing, dining and conversation. The patio in the back was the perfect hang out place for drinking and catching up- you could see all the dancing and activity but the music on the patio wasn’t so overpowering you couldn’t talk. The large lawn area was perfect for the younger guests to run around and play games.
In short, I am so thankful we found Rockhill Plantation for our daughter’s wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better people to work or a place to make wonderful memories.

Amazing and Beautiful Wedding

My daughter's wedding was 11/13/2021 and as many of our guests described "was a fairytale". The venue is breathtaking, Richard and Erin were amazing and made the wedding beautiful and flawless. Richard's personality is infectious and he really truly cares. Erin took all of our ideas and made them more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was a day none of us will ever forget. We only toured one venue and Rock Hill Plantation House won us over immediately. So grateful to everyone for the most beautiful, fun, and memorable wedding ever. My daughter and new son-n-law said they could not have been happier.

Absolutely wonderful!

My daughters wedding was held at Rock Hill Plantation House. There could not have been a better place. I don’t know where to start. First you drive in to an absolutely beautiful property in the countryside. Richard is amazing. His help through the whole wedding planning and day couldn’t have been better. Caroline was also exceptional. There is not one thing I would change. It was a beautiful wedding.

The venue is obviously amazing, but what you don't know of how amazing the people here are. I was taken care of every step of the way! I cannot imagine a better place or better people to have been such a pivotal part of my big day!

Wouldn't change a thing

Our wedding was on 7/11/2020 at Rock Hill Plantation House. The grounds were absolutely wonderful. Our guests did nothing but sing its praises for days later. Richard's personality is contagious, and his recommended wedding planner Erin was right on time. We toured two wedding venues, and Rock Hill was no doubt the best. We highly recommend it for your next special event.

Amazing Experience!!!

I highly recommend Rock Hill Plantation. Richard is absolutely AMAZING to work with! He is very professional, but at the same time, laid back, extremely helpful, friendly, funny and just a great guy. He is also an awesome DJ. My husband and I got married on New Year's Eve and we had a very unique wedding where it was more of a NYE party with a brief ceremony in the middle. Richard was very accommodating and just as excited to help us figure out all the details of how the night should go. I would text or email him at random times (day/evening, weekdays/weekends) with questions and he would always be quick to respond. He honestly took so much stress off of me as a bride trying to plan the wedding. As for the wedding itself, it was beautiful and just what we wanted. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how great the DJ (Richard) was.

So to all the brides out there, do yourself a favor and book your wedding at Rock Hill Plantation!! You won't regret it!!! 🥂

Rock Hill is the Best!

We absolutely recommend Rock Hill Plantation House! We had our wedding here on October 11th, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Richard was our DJ and did a great job all night. Erin was our coordinator—she was a God send. The venue was beautiful and Mother Nature was good to us. Back when we started planning this wedding over a year ago, we actually were looking at a different venue. However, the venue staff that worked there was very rude and not helpful at all. Then we met with Richard and checked out the Rock Hill Plantation House. Richard made us feel at ease and was super helpful! We decided to have our wedding at Rock Hill because Richard was so helpful and very responsive to our needs which was crucial in planning a wedding from across the country. Everything was absolutely perfect on our special day, and we owe a lot of that to Richard and Erin. You won’t be disappointed!!

Beyond perfect!!

The moment we saw Rock Hill Plantation in person, we knew this was going to be our venue! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Richard, the owner, is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is fun, very responsive to any questions you have and very thorough. He goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding day is exactly how you want it. He is also a DJ, which we hired him for our wedding, and has everything already there, which makes planning that much easier. Erin, our day of coordinator, was also a pleasure to work with! She made sure everything we wanted and envisioned for our wedding was set up accordingly. I knew between Richard and Erin, I wouldn't have to stress about anything on my wedding day, because they were on top of it. I will always recommend Rock Hill because it truly was the best! 15/10 recommend!!!

Best Wedding Location

Richard is the BEST! Not only did he take the time and attention to make our wedding amazing, he’s also a super nice guy! The venue, the grounds and reception hall were perfect. We couldn’t imagine spending our special day anywhere else! We would give Rock Hill Plantation 10 stars if we could!

Rainy Day Perfection

Rock Hill Plantation made sure everything for my wedding went perfect! Rock Hill was the first venue we looked at, and we weren't ready to book right away. After touring a few other venues we knew Rock Hill was perfect for our wedding! Between Richard's professionalism, transparency, and personable approach we knew we had found our perfect venue.
On the wedding day, as soon as the bridal party/vendors started arriving, it started down pouring. Richard and Erin (Rock Hill's day of coordinator) discussed options with me. They were great with calming down a tearful bride who was beyond stressed that mother nature had different plans for the afternoon. Although getting married on the covered carriage house porch wasn't my ideal ceremony location, they made sure to decorate it to match my vision for the gazebo and the string lights on the porch gave an added romantic feel!
Richard was always very quick to respond to emails throughout the planning process. We fell in love with this venue for their size, gorgeous grounds, and they had an option for both the bride and groom to get ready. We were also pleased with Richard's transparency as there were no hidden costs and everything that was included in the venue was clearly written out.
Upon booking, we decided to book Richard's DJ services and Erin's day of coordinating. Richard is a phenomenal DJ with state of the art equipment! It was great having all of the sound equipment built into the venue to avoid the clutter that can be associated with sound equipment. Erin was very helpful with making sure my reception vision was executed perfectly. To anyone that is thinking of booking with Rock Hill, DO IT! I promise you won't regret it! Thank you so much for being such a big part of our special day

Beautiful Venue!

Dream Location

I've always dreamed of getting married at a small venue with a homey feel, and that's exactly what we got! The gorgeous lawn and landscaping made the perfect backdrop for photos, their inventory of tables and chairs saved us so much money, and the flexibility with outside vendors was such a help. Richard was there helping from the first day we visited to tour the location through the end of our wedding night. I'm very grateful for Rock Hill and for their help to make our big day as smooth as it was.

Perfection!

Our day was perfect and we really owe it all to our vendors we worked with - Rock Hill and Richard being one of them! Before even getting to our car after touring Rock Hill and speaking with Richard, the venue host, we knew that Rock Hill was IT.
From the gorgeous, spacious bridal suite to the ceremony site (gazebo!!) to the groomsmen's man cave (pool table, darts, a TV!!), and the reception hall featuring a beautiful patio looking over land and a fountain... Rock Hill is just perfect.
The venue also comes with their own optional wedding coordinator, Erin, who was perfect and made our day go smoothly. We can not recommend hiring Erin enough -- I went into our wedding day so chill knowing we were in such great hands.
Richard, Rock Hill's venue host, is also a DJ. Y'all... HIRE. RICHARD. I can not tell you how many people came up to us and said our DJ and our wedding music was the best they had ever experienced.. Richard read the crowd and played what kept people on the dance floor. Everyone danced all. night. long. We truly owe our party to Richard's DJing.
Not only is Rock Hill beautiful, professional, and organized, you truly feel like family working with all the people involved with this venue. We would choose Rock Hill, Erin, and Richard over and over again!! :)

Perfect Wedding Venue

Our wedding was PERFECT! I couldn't have imagined it going any better or it being any more beautiful! My husband and I are beyond thrilled that we had the wedding of our dreams. One of the best parts about Rock Hill is the owner Richard and his wife, Cheryl who we hired as our wedding coordinator. They were so responsive and helpful right from our initial meeting. They always replied quickly to answer all of our questions and were full of great advice and guidance along the way. You are dealing with real professionals when you work with Rock Hill.
All of our family and friends were gushing over the gorgeous setting, the convenience of having everything - ceremony, reception etc. in one place, and the beautiful decorations which Cheryl put up for us. The boys loved the man cave and the girls had the perfect space to get ready in the bridal suite.
We feel so lucky that we got to have our wedding at the perfect place with the most welcoming, accommodating, wonderful people. They treat you like part of their family and go the extra mile to ensure your wedding is exactly what you envisioned. I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day because I knew that we were in the hands of two competent, capable, detailed oriented professionals who's main goal was for our day to be worry free and amazing.
I would definitely recommend Rock Hill Plantation to everyone!

We got married 8-25-18 and we could not have asked for a better Venue or a better host in Richard! Starting a day off he made sure everything was in place. When vendors started arriving he lead them to where they needed to be. He was just perfect. And when the partying got started at the reception, even Richard got in on the fun! Overall just an amazing and wonderful experience with them and I honestly wish we could do it again!!! That's how awesome it was! Thank you so much Richard!!!

We got married here going on two weeks ago and we could not be happier with how everything turned out! The venue owner, Richard, made us feel so special and it really was like we were part of the family. We fell in love with the property the moment we saw it and actually cancelled other scheduled tours we had set up because we couldn't imagine having the wedding anywhere else! The ceremony gazebo was the perfect, simple backdrop for our wedding and the carriage house with the veranda barely needed any decorating at all. It is so well kept and made for the easiest transition from ceremony to reception. It is worth every penny - all of our guests raved about the property and if you are looking for a gorgeous, intimate wedding, Rock Hill Plantation House should be at the top of your list of choices!

I am the mother of the groom who just got married at Rock Hill Plantation on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017. There will not be enough room for me to write all the great things about this venue and it's owners, Richard and Cheryl Green! From the first meeting with Richard Green to the last when we said thank you and goodnight, he could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. He is extremely responsive on all fronts, answering questions and allowing us to set up the Carriage House the day before the wedding on the rehearsal day, which was a tremendous help to us. From the Bridal Suite, the Man Cave, the Gazebo for outdoor ceremonies, to the Carriage House reception Hall, this place is a stunning and affordable venue and perfect for my son's wedding with 80 guests! Thank you to Rock Hill and the Greens for a most memorable event!

Our wedding was October 14, 2017 and it was perfection! There was a special space for my husband to get ready and hang out with his groomsmen, the most impeccable bridal suite ever, then of course the grounds themselves which were beautiful and made things simple! We recently had our wedding at Rock Hill Plantation on July 29th. We had a fantastic wedding! This venue is absolutely gorgeous. On the first day that we toured the venue we knew it was exactly the place where we wanted to have our ceremony and reception. Richard’s welcoming personality (and the goats) sealed the deal. Richard offered tons of wonderful ideas as well as fantastic vendors. His advice and recommendations helped to make it the most memorable day of our lives.
We are so glad that we also chose to hire Erin as our wedding planner. Erin offered great advice and it was great to have her by our side on the day of our wedding. Both Richard and Erin were quick to respond to any questions during the planning process which took tons of pressure off of us. All of the day of setup and coordination was seamless to us. All of our guests raved about the gorgeous setting and how smooth everything went. From the Caterer’s amazing food to the Florist’s gorgeous flowers (both vendors that Richard had recommended to us) and not to forget Richard’s beautiful venue. We really can’t say enough great things about Richard, Erin, and Rock Hill. It was really comforting working with true professionals who were always there to answer a question, offer some advice, or lend a hand to make everything perfect! Thanks again Richard and Erin! We will always remember this! Now we just have to come up with another reason to host another event at this beautiful venue! ;-)

Rock Hill was a phenomenal location for our two day staff retreat. The Carriage House was a more than accommodating for all the different things we did within our retreat including video conferencing, breakout sessions, general sessions and lunch! The grounds were also so perfect for the devotions and self development portion of our retreat, staff members were able to spread out throughout the grounds, on the porch, on the deck, under the gazebo and more. Richard was more than helpful in everything, he was kind and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend Rock Hill to anyone who is looking to use this location for all types of needs!

We had an amazing time at Rock Hill Plantation House! Richard was so kind and generous to open his home to friends and family for our wedding. From our very first meeting with Richard, we knew that we made the right choice for our wedding venue. He has a wide range of knowledge about weddings and really looks to make your event as special as possible. During our rehearsal, he offered great suggestions for making the ceremony look perfect. Throughout the wedding day, Richard checked in with us to make sure that everything was running smoothly and asked if there were any other ways that he could help. I can’t say enough great things about my wedding experience at Rock Hill. The venue itself is beautiful, excellently maintained and you can tell Richard and his family take great pride in their property. We were aiming for a ‘homey’ feel for our wedding and wanted to keep it small (we had 85 guests) and Rock Hill was the perfect fit for us. It was the first and only venue we looked at and we booked it right after our tour! I would highly recommend hiring Erin as your day-of coordinator as well. She was organized and on top of everything in the weeks leading up to the wedding and also throughout the actual wedding and reception. Our timeline for the wedding was a little unconventional as we decided to skip some traditional wedding activities and her and Richard were both fully supportive and accommodated all our requests. Richard also served as our DJ and MC for the evening which I would recommend as well! People are still talking about the music playlist two weeks after our wedding. Richard also gave us great recommendations for caterers but wasn’t pushy about who to use. We did end up using a caterer he recommended and you could tell they had worked together before because everything was executed without a hitch. The photo booth was also a huge hit! You can tell everyone at Rock Hill enjoys what they do and we only received rave reviews from our guests about the event. I had the most stress-free wedding day I could have asked for and that was due in large part to our very positive experience with Rock Hill!

I really could not be more pleased with our experience with Rock Hill, Richard (owner) and his family, and Erin (the wedding coordinator). They were extremely responsive, well-prepared, professional, and just an absolute delight to work with. I wish I were getting married there again tomorrow :)

Erin and Richard never stopped moving the entire wedding, always making sure things were running smoothly, on-time, and anticipating the next with ease.

I cannot say enough about how fabulous my wedding was at Rock Hill Plantation House! From the beginning meeting and speaking with Richard I knew I was in good hands, he is super friendly and very easy to get along with; he really made the whole experience easy and stress free. My wedding was on 3.25.17 the beginning of spring and it was beautiful, the rolling hills, trees, ponds, everything was perfect and everything was so clean! It was absolutely gorgeous and warm and cozy and charming all at once. I couldn't be happier that I chose this for my wedding venue, it really has a special place in my heart,it was just so magical the setting and Richards charm definitely was felt throughout! Fantastic venue, highly recommended for a smaller to medium-sized wedding (we had about 70 people). The owner Richard is helpful, easy to talk to and quick to reply with emails, and very upfront with inclusions in the pricing (which was very reasonable, and we saved getting married on a Friday). He keeps up the property well, so everything is beautiful and clean, and the newly-finished man cave is great for the guys. There are a few location options for the ceremony (ours was on the grassy area in front of the gazebo), and the indoor air-conditioned reception area is open and has a wood floor to allow for multiple layouts. One other thing I liked is that Richard has only a few caterers he works with, so I didn't have to research and contact a ton of different companies to find the one we liked. My new husband and I couldn't have asked for a better place to be married, everything was perfect.

Rock Hill Plantation House (not ever an actual plantation!) and the Green Team (Richard and Cheryl, proprietors) were seriously phenomenal, from start to finish. I would say that if anyone is on the fence about coming out to see the place, you should definitely go. Once you're there, there's no way you won't book with them. The grounds are stunning, and make for a gorgeous backdrop for pictures at any point during the year. Their prices are much more affordable than other comparably beautiful venues. And Richard is incredibly responsive, accommodating, and very, very friendly. The day of the wedding, he was able to make sure that everything went smoothly, from bumpy start (our photographer had some car trouble) to finish. I could not recommend Rock Hill strongly enough to anyone getting married in the DC/NOVA area. Thank you, Richard and Cheryl!

Richard Green and his venue are perfectly wonderful. It's a small (120 people limit) outdoor venue, with an indoor back up plan. It's a large property surrounded by beautiful willow trees and man-made lakes. He even owns some pygmie goats that the children just adored.

Rich and his staff were super accommodating, answered any question asked of them, and provided top notch support when I was feeling overwhelmed and confused.

The bride gets use off the entire bottom level of the refurbished plantation home, with a living area, dressing area (with beautiful antique mirrors ALL AROUND) and the groom gets to use the man-cave with pool tables, beer fridge, and tv.

Richard and all of the staff at Rock Hill were incredible! From our very first meeting we knew that this was the place for us. The grounds are beautiful and we ended up with amazing photos. It was also about 100 degrees on our wedding day but it did not take away from the celebration at all. The carriage house is fully air conditioned and all of our guests were comfortable and still enjoyed mingling on the patio. We were able to have the rustic celebration we were hoping for while still being able to relax and cool off on a scorching summer day.

Richard responded quickly to all of our emails and answered any and all questions we had. We did not have a coordinator but he made sure that every detail was taken care of, from the ceremony to the end of the night. He was also our DJ and he did an INCREDIBLE job and kept the party going and the guests laughing the whole time. We also got countless compliments from the guests about how beautiful the venue was. As someone who works in the wedding industry, I was very careful with researching every detail. But I can fully say that I was impressed with the professionalism and care that Richard puts into his work. You can tell that he truly loves what he does and there is honestly no reason to go anywhere else. You will get way more for your money and will not be disappointed.

The owner is an absolute pleasure to work with! The property is always well kept and looked beautiful each time we saw it. You don't have to do much to this place to make it look like something out of a fairytale; the view is perfect from every angle. My husband also wanted me to mention that him and his groomsmen had a great time in the new "Man Cave" where they got ready and played some pool and darts :)

What an amazing day. We knew right away this was the perfect place to hold their wedding. They said they would take care of us and they did. Richard worked with us with everything we wanted and Cheryl took all the stress off of me and just made it happen. We also used Richard as our DJ and he did a fantastic job. Our Pastor was even amazed at how they handled everything when he is used to having to do the coordination at the Rehearsal himself. I can't think of a single thing I would change about that day and days later the compliments from friends and family are still coming in. Do not miss the chance to look at Rockhill Plantation House! This beautiful site is in a rural location yet near hotels and restaurants, and offers both inside and outside ceremony locations. Richard helped plan our event so carefully that we did not need an outside planner. There is a lovely spacious bridal suite for the bride and her attendants to get ready in and a wonderful man cave for the groom's attendants that includes a pool table, big screen t.v., darts, and comfortable leather furniture. Our caterers appreciated an updated prep kitchen and all the tables, chairs and accessories necessary for the event. Richard was very responsive during the planning phase and met with both the bride and groom, as well as the parents, several times to be sure that the ceremony and reception were done according to the their expectations. Due to bad traffic conditions, the officiant was unable to make it to the rehearsal, and Richard graciously stepped in to run the families through the ceremony, and to familiarize them with the various sites at the venue so that the wedding would run smoothly. On the wedding day, guests appreciated the outdoor ceremony, the lovely reception area with a wide, comfortable porch for the cocktail hour, and the opportunity to walk around the grounds, especially to see the pygmy goats or to play lawn games on the property. Richard has updated everything on the property, including repainting and freshening the inside, landscaping the entire property, and adding special features like wood floors in the reception area instead of carpet, and an antique bell at the exit to the outdoor ceremony area that couples may choose to ring to signal the start of their life together. This venue is truly special, both for the beauty and convenience it offers, but because Richard is a gracious and helpful host to the bride, groom, and their families as they prepare for and enjoy their special day.

My wife and I recently got married on June 5th 2016. Our situation required a lot of attention as we only had a short time to prepare for the ceremony and reception. From the start Richard's professional and relaxed personality put us at ease and let us know we were in good hands. He allowed us to visit multiple times to explore the grounds. We utilized him as the DJ which made a huge difference in preparations. He not only orchestrated the music during the ceremony but ran the reception events flawlessly. His sense of humor only added to the happiness experienced by all. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking an outdoor wedding and reception in the same location. Our guest list was only 55 and it was the perfect location. He can easily fit up to 80 and there would be plenty of room.

I can't say enough good things about Rock Hill Plantation House! We had a hard time finding a venue that was affordable, convenient for our guests, and included everything we wanted, but when we ran across Rock Hill online and then from the first time we spoke to Richard, we knew this is where our wedding was going to be. Its an amazing value! We only visited two venues before choosing it (and we had really already decided on Rock Hill before going to our second meeting)! Richard is super friendly and makes you feel like you've been friends forever - and he's incredibly responsive to emails, calls and texts. All of our guests kept commenting how beautiful Rock Hill was and how perfect it was for my fiance and I - not too fancy but beautiful and feels like home. Richard went out of his way the day of the rehearsal and wedding to make sure we were happy and was also really friendly with our parents and all of our guests. Rockhill Plantation was an absolute beautiful location to hold my Granddaughter's wedding. Our guests could not stop talking about how pretty the house and grounds were. We held the ceremony outside by the Gazebo and it was truely a beautiful setting. The Brides Room and the "Man Cave" were an added bonus enjoyed by the wedding party. The Carriage House and the Veranda, where the reception was held, couldn't have been nicer. Richard Green was so easy and pleasant to work with, it made the stress of wedding planning much less. Richard also was our DJ and did a wonderful job. The communication between Richard and my granddaughter, daughter and I was great. Very important when planning a wedding. I highly recommend Rockhill Plantation and Richard Green for any wedding.

Rock Hill Plantation was the first and only venue my now husband and I toured in person, because once we visited Rock Hill we instantly realized that it exceeded all of our needs and expectations! We did ample research in advance, and Rock Hill’s cost, location, size, and ambience were exactly what we were looking for. Richard is the fantastic and caring proprietor of Rock Hill and working with him was a pleasure from start to finish. Richard had recently taken over ownership, and blew us away with not only his knowledge of the industry but was able to help us out with suggestions and advice throughout the process. During the tour Richard pointed out a number of enhancements and renovations that were set to take place and as our date approached in November 2015 we were able to see that these improvements only made Rock Hill even more beautiful and truly helped tie together the venue's quaint, Southern appeal.

As our wedding day approached, and we grew more and more excited, Richard and his family were there for anything we needed. Day of, we couldn't have imagined pulling off such a beautiful ceremony and reception without such a well-run venue. We were lucky to also have booked Richard as our DJ, and he kept the party going until the end!

The gazebo located on the property at sunset made for a perfect location and setting for the ceremony. The reception, held in the carriage house, was a perfect fit for our 90 guests, but could have also fit a few more if needed. We adored the layout we chose—the guest tables surrounding the dance floor with the sweetheart table at the top, it made for an intimate yet not overcrowded or impersonal environment. The setup of the bar and buffet area on the deck made it a wonderfully easy transition from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing.

All in all, we wouldn't change a thing about our wedding day, and would recommend Rock Hill Plantation to anyone looking to wed in the DC/VA area!

We were married here at this BEAUTIFUL plantation house on October 30th 2015. Megan and I would highly recommend choosing Rock Hill to anyone and everyone ! Richard is hands down one of the most helpful and welcoming person we know. We first met Richard at a expo show with already a decision of a different venue in my place. After chatting with Richard and seeing the house it instantly changed our path of our wedding. We can't even express how professional and helpful Richard was helping us finish planning our wedding. October 30th was just perfect in every way. The wedding ceremony was beautiful. The reception was perfect and so fun! We also highly recommend hiring Richard as your DJ! He really makes everyone feel comfortable and gets the dance floor going even at mid day! Thank you so much Richard for one of the best memories of our lives!

Our son was just married there on 11/21/15. Rock Hill Plantation House is a beautiful venue tucked away in Stafford, VA. What an amazing site to celebrate your wedding with it's stately house, gazebo, lovely grounds with 3 ponds, and carriage house with a veranda and pool. I highly recommend Rock Hill Plantation for your wedding or any other milestone event you are planning. From the moment you turn into the facility, the beautiful plantation style house that greets your eyes sets the mood for a happy and exciting time. The Carriage House Reception Hall is perfect for a reception or party (with a large dance floor) and it has a large veranda where one can sit and take in the incredible vista views. But you aren't confined to just the building at this incredible place. In addition to being able to hold your wedding or other events outside near the large Gazebo, your guests are invited to roam all of the grounds, checking out the three ponds and meeting up with the ducks and friendly goats.

Perhaps even more impressive than all of the beauty and grandeur of this facility are the owners, Richard and Cheryl Green. From your first call to Richard, you will find someone who will take the stress of planning off your shoulders and make you feel like you are a friend visiting, not a customer. He and Cheryl are the epitome of Southern hospitality. And, if you need a DJ, Richard does that, too! Rock Hill Plantation was the first venue my husband & I first looked at right after we got engaged. Richard welcomed us right in and showed us around the place. They were preparing for renovations and it was also right in the beginning of December, so Richard told us to "use our imaginations." He then went into details about what he planned to do to the venue as far as remodeling and updating. We decided right then that we could look no further and had to pick this venue and we even booked Richard as our DJ as well. Richard was very helpful along the journey of wedding planning. I loved that I could text him whenever with even the simplest question, and he would respond as soon as he could. As our DJ, he had everyone on their feet all night long,! He definitely knows how to pump up the night. Richard made it feel like we were all one big happy family. On our wedding day, everything ran so smooth that if it was literally a fairy tale. It was truly the best day ever. Thanks to Richard and Cheryl for making our day a dream come true! Definitely recommend the venue and the DJ services to anyone getting married!

Richard has done a wonderful job with Rock Hill Plantation and was a joy to work with. His attention to detail is immediately apparent when you visit for the first time and all the way until you leave on your wedding day. The whole experience felt very personal and Richard is the most thoughtful vendor we worked with. He's also a great DJ and his recommendations for other vendors were great. It rained throughout our entire wedding weekend, but Richard was flexible regarding the set-up and we were able to have a beautiful ceremony on the porch. Our advice if you have a wedding there would be to use Anna as your wedding planner and Richard as your DJ. Anna and Richard have worked together often, and we trusted them completely to make sure the event went off without a hitch.

When my husband and I first got engaged we were looking at a lot of different venues. We were on a low budget and could afford many of th places we looked. I happen to stumbled across Rock hill plantation on a blog somewhere and we decided to check it out as it seemed almost to good to be true. But boy, was I amazed with this venue, the level of service and the value! It was perfect!

Rock hill plantation really made our special truly perfect! We first contacting Rock hill in the middle an ownership change which made me nervous as most of the time when owners change, product and quality change in one way or another. But I had nothing to be nervous about. After we met with Richard, I knew we were in great hands.

He did a lot of landscaping and changes but still kept the same value and view that we fell in love with.

Everything was included so we didn't have to worry about being nickeled and dimes for everything. And by everything I mean Chairs, tables, heating lamps, ceremony, bridal suit, and set up for a hour 8 hours!!! Day of, Richard made sure everything was the way we wanted and everything went so smoothly I could not have ask for a better venue.

Best part was, because the venue was so gorgeous we didn't need a lot of decorations to turn it into something else. We were able to implement our colors with tablecloths and a few Chinese lanterns and it was perfect!

Best value out there and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get married or for any event honestly. They made the process so simple and really helped us thru everything. Our wedding day turned out better than I could have imagined because of Rock hill plantation.

Richard and the Rock Hill Plantation House took all the worry out of my wedding day. From running a straight-forward rehearsal to making sure my girls and I had everything we needed in the bridal suite the day of the wedding, the RHPH made sure everything felt as special as possible. I attended a wedding at this venue two years ago and fell for the charm of the place, so when it came time to plan my own wedding finding a venue wasn't very difficult. It turns out that since I first visited the Plantation House two years ago, the new owner Richard has made beautiful updates to the place: completely re-landscaping the grounds; adding a cast iron farm bell to ring after the ceremony; adding up-lighting and flat screen displays in the reception hall; creating additional parking spaces; and policy changes like giving brides two hours in the bridal suite before the wedding. The venue itself has many pastoral picture spots and is an ideal place for an intimate wedding. Richard and his family truly have one goal: to make engaged couples feel as special as possible. It's a goal that they met with flying colors!

Rock Hill Plantation House provided us with a beautiful, flawless wedding. The weather was not what we'd hoped for (cold and rainy on the first day of spring), but everything went off without a hitch and we could not have asked for a more perfect night. The grounds are gorgeous - rolling hills, a beautiful house with elegant furniture and a lovely bridal suite for getting ready and post-ceremony pictures in the main house. It is awesome that the carriage house reception hall is on the grounds as well - it allows for seamless transitioning from ceremony to party-time! Richard, the new owner, is absolutely WONDERFUL and will do any and everything to ensure an awesome experience. We were so blessed to find the venue and honored to be Richard's first wedding as new owner. The reception hall is completely modernized with recessed lighting and built-in surround sound, big screen TVs and elegant bathrooms. You get a LOT of bang for your buck when you choose Rock Hill - and you MUST take advantage or Richard's DJ skills as well! Rock Hill is seriously a one-stop shop for an EXCELLENT price. This was not my wedding, it was my girlfriend's son's wedding. Having heard everything that went on with the planning and setting up and all the stuff that goes in to this event, there is no way I can say enough about how well Richard and Cheryl helped out, assisted, bent over backwards, insert your own adjectives here now for this wedding. I have no doubt they would treat yours any different. I went out for rehearsal and the actual ceremony: the entire thing went off perfect. If I had a daughter or son getting married, I would tell them to go there and not look anywhere else. I got to talk to Richard in between breaks and found out that this was their first event since they took over the venue from the previous owners, Rev. Will and Jo Anne Cannon. They have carried on the business without missing a beat. I heard the stories of how they LISTENED to what the bride wanted, and on her day, they made that happen. Watching him with the wedding couple, listening to him talk with them, asking them what they wanted, suggesting options of what Rockhill could do to give them just what they wanted, was incredible. Richard is so engaging and genuine, it is like talking to your best friend. I can think of nothing that the couple asked for that he was not able to provide for them. Except for the weather, but even then, he did get it to stop raining so the ceremony could be outside. :) I didn't see inside the bride's dressing room, but I saw photos, it seemed just what any girl would want. The great room in the main house just feels wedding like. The whole venue, from the gazebo to the reception hall, the brick walkways, stately old trees in front of the house, just a perfect place to exchange your vows.
I did not get married there, so I can't speak for the bride and groom. I have tried to tell you what I saw and how they were treated and how any and everything they needed, wanted, requested, it was there. Rockhill truly made it the bride's day.

I could not have asked for a better venue experience. Will & Jo Anne were just the sweetest people alive and clearly had the knowledge and experience to pull off the perfect wedding. If anything went wrong on the day of, I had absolutely no idea and I didn't notice. Jo Anne was a pro and Will was a great officiant for my ceremony. Their both so friendly and truly enjoy being in the wedding business. They kept in touch the entire time and Jo Anne was interested in all the details, both for professional reasons and because she is personally invested in all of her couples. Absolute perfection.

I don't really think I could say enough about Rock Hill Plantation. We found them by fluke, after having a few strike outs on venues up near the Washington D.C. area. From the very first email we sent asking if we could come see the venue, to the day of my wedding I couldn't have been happier. JoAnne and Rev. Will (now retired) did an excellent job of making sure that we had the wedding of our dreams. The venue looked amazing and they helped me turn my vision into a reality which was crazy. It cannot thank Rock Hill enough for having the perfect wedding venue and would tell everyone to check them out!

Where to begin...

I am so happy to have met Jo Anne and Rev. Will Cannon, they're such warm, loving people. They make your day feel very special and they do everything they can to meet your needs. I knew from the start that I wanted my wedding to be at that venue because of how beautiful the space is and how cozy and inviting they are!

The house is so beautiful and all the furnishings and details just make it feel more classic and timeless, which is how you want to feel when you're getting married. If you are looking to have a wedding outdoors and with a beautiful back drop of the farm with the rolling hills and trees all around, then this is the venue for you!!

I would recommend to all my friends!!

We had our wedding at Rock Hill on September 7, 2014. From day one, meeting Jo Anne and Will I knew this was the place we needed to be wed. They are a warm and inviting couple and the Plantation is gorgeous. Jo Anne is there every step of the way to help you with anything and she also serves as the day of coordinator. She has everything down like a well oiled machine! We had a few hiccups (not due to Rock Hill) and Will and Jo Anne handled them with professionalism. I couldn't be happier that we chose to have our big day with them! The ceremony that Will (who will officiate the ceremony and is included in the price) put together was beautiful and we continue to get compliments on that. I would recommend Rock Hill to any bride in the DC metro area looking for a beautiful location to have both their ceremony and reception!

Our wedding at Rock Hill Plantation was spectacular. The service and support that we got from Jo Ann and Rev. Will was the best that anyone could ask for. Jo Ann quickly answered any questions or concerns we had leading up to our big day by either phone or email. They made all the panning of our event very simple. Jo Ann made it known to us up front that this was the brides day and that nothing or no one would get in the way of making it perfect, and come the day she stood by that. The morning of our wedding it was raining. By the time I got there I was worried and upset that I might not get the beautiful scenery of the outdoor service I was hoping for. They had a back up plan incase it didn't stop in time. When I got there Rev.Will pulled me to the side in the office where he had been keeping an eye on the weather all day and assured me that it was going to be ok and I was going to get the outdoor service I had dreamed of. He was correct 30 minutes before the rain stopped and sunshine was starting to come through the clouds. They waited until the last minutes to set the chairs up so no one had to sit in a wet chair. It was everything we could have dreamed of. It all went off without a hitch. The reception was just like the service perfect. The vendors Jo Ann uses were excellent. Everything she told us they would do was spot on along with the quality of service we received. If you are having a wedding that will fit their venue we strongly recommend the intimate setting of Rock Hill Plantation. They will make you feel more like family than a customer by the time the whole process of planing your wedding is done.

Rock Hill Plantation is a wonderful place for a wedding reception. I cannot say enough about how amazing Jo Anne and Reverend Will helped to make my wedding. They were very responsive, extremely flexible, and extraordinarily helpful. You would never get this kind of interaction or personal touch with a hotel, and this service, along with the beauty of the Plantation, is what makes this place one of a kind. Not only did Jo Anne respond to every email I sent or call I made very quickly, she also provided a great list of recommended vendors. I used the caterer, DJ, florist, dessert baker, hair stylist, and makeup artist from her list and they were all awesome.
The Plantation itself is beautiful and on the day of the wedding, everything looked wonderful. Jo Anne and Rev Will warmly welcomed us and guided my guests to the lovely veranda for the cocktail hour.
I did not take advantage of the ceremonial service that the Plantation offers but with Jo Anne and Rev Will at the helm, I am sure it, too, would have been great.
I am not one to write reviews and am a pretty tough critic, but when you have an experience as positive as I did, it needs to be shared. Pick Rock Hill Plantation for your wedding. You will be very glad you did.

Beautiful!!! It is a beautiful location for a intimate wedding. Rev Will makes sure everything is about you when you get married here - your ceremony is personalized. The way he and JoAnn walk you and your wedding party through the ceremony details makes you feel comfortable and confident. JoAnn has wonderful ideas that she will share with you and she makes sure everything is set up perfectly for the wedding and reception - if anything went wrong on our big day, I sure did not know about it! Rev Will & JoAnn make you feel like they are family that is hosting your wedding! Would recommend this venue for sure!

Reverend Will was amazing and we were so glad he was recommended to us to officiate our wedding. He was very helpful in walking us through the entire planning of our ceremony, and was very flexible about all of the special things we wanted to do to make the ceremony ours. He had our guests captivated and made the ceremony about us while making sure to include all our family and friends. I was so overwhelmed by how memorable he made everything feel, even beyond the anticipation that it would be memorable.

My husband and I got married at Rock Hill Plantation a little over a year ago and I couldn't speak more highly of our experience. The venue is so beautiful and well maintained. Rev. Will and Jo Anne go above and beyond to make the day special for everyone. They are also very upfront about all costs and expectations, so there were no surprises (except happy ones!), which lead to a stress-free and easy flowing day. Everything about Rock Hill Plantation is so beautiful and welcoming. I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

Three words: GET MARRIED HERE! This place was great! It was beyond perfect to have the ceremony venue, reception hall and officiant all in one package. Not to mention it was one of the only venues I found that was upfront about they're pricing. Rev. Will and Jo Anne, the owners, are absolutely wonderful. The day went so smoothly thanks to their help. Jo Anne acts as a day of coordinator to make sure the ceremony goes off without a hitch. It was so reassuring to know that she was there in case there were any mishaps.

The venue is located in rural Stafford, VA and the landscape is beautiful. Will and Jo Anne keep the grounds absolutely flawless. The grass is green, the flowers are colorful and the pond was picturesque. There were rolling hills and there were even some goats and a pony! Our wedding guests had a lot of fun taking pictures with the goats, named Katie and L.B. You'll have to ask Jo Anne what L.B. stands for ;)

Rev. Will is very helpful when it comes to planning out the ceremony. We were provided with a lot of different options and he helped us narrow them down. When he sent me the completed ceremony a week before the wedding I was in tears at work. It was so beautiful and so very uniquely us. He was so funny during the ceremony- it was lighthearted and joyful. Everything was exactly what we wanted.

The reception hall is on the smaller side but one of my guests said "I like that this room is smaller, sometimes when you're at a cavernous wedding venue it feels impersonal. Here it feels like we really are all together." I couldn't agree more! When you have all of your favorite people in one place, you want to feel close! The reception opened up onto a really lovely deck that Jo Anne decorated and that is where the bar and the food was set up.

Bottom Line: This was the perfect venue to have a stress-free gorgeous wedding. As a bride I had a million things to worry about, but Will and Jo Anne were definitely not one of them.

Rock Hill Plantation House in Stafford, VA is absolutely beautiful! We had about 100 guests and it was the perfect size (they can hold up to 130). The ceremonial gazebo was simple and picturesque. The reception space and verandah were beautifully assembled and decorated for the wedding. Will and Jo Ann care so much about the couples who get married there and are always willing to help and answer andy questions.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Rev. Will and his JoAnne. Our wedding at Rock Hill was more than I ever could have imagined! Weddings are clearly a big deal and a lot of work, having an amazing person with you the day of to make sure everything goes smoothly is crucial-JoAnne is just that. I literally had no worries at all the day of wedding because of her-she is just amazing. Rev. Will did a great job during our ceremony-we received so many compliments about how personal and special it was. If your thinking of having your wedding here-you will not be disappointed. Its beautiful, intimate and lovely. I wish we could have our wedding here over and over again!

Rock Hill Plantation House is the perfect venue! My husband and I were married there Saturday September 28, 2013. Jo Anne and Rev. Will were the perfect hosts. They were so helpful from day 1 and were super patient with us though all our hectic planning. The beauty of Rock Hill is unmatched and sure to be one of the nicest locations we have found. We highly recommend this venue to anyone who is seeking a romantic and elegant place to be married. I do hope you know what a huge impact you have in couples lives planning their big day!

Where to even begin!?!

Rock Hill was not the only the most perfect, beautiful place for our wedding but Rev. Will and Jo Anne make it all the more the special. Our wedding day was everything we ever wanted and more. We first went to visit with them in June 2012(after many emails back and forth) and immediately knew this was the place my husband and I would be getting married. Rev. Will and Jo Anne are very passionate about what they do so we never had any doubts. They explain everything so there is never any hidden fees or stuff like that. They truly care about making your special day everything you want it to be.

Leading up to the wedding I(and my mom) was calling Jo Anne with any questions/ideas/concerns from decorations to the rehearsal dinner to centerpieces. She has an incredibly sweet personality which literally put us at ease about everything. On the day of the wedding, she makes sure everything is just perfect and really goes that extra mile. We didn't know what we'd do without her!

Rev. Will was our officiant and we LOVED him! He makes everyone laugh(including us!) during the ceremony which totally helps calm the nerves. But more than anything, he really helped bring out how much love my husband and I have for each other. He went over options with us and customizes the ceremony to which fits you as a couple. It was absolutely perfect!!

I am still getting compliments from people about our wedding! From before the ceremony through the end of the night! The grounds are so beautiful and even the pony and goats were a hit! A lot of people were telling me things were gonna go wrong/things are gonna happen but the entire day was so perfect we wouldn't change a thing! Even after the big day Rev. Will and Jo Anne still keep in contact. They are such sweet, sincere, caring people who truly care about their couples. We had the most unforgettable wedding day, and we know we have Rev. Will and Jo Anne to thank for that!

Rock Hill Planation was the perfect venue for us. We love the outdoors and the beautiful landscape Rock Hill had to offer made our day absolutley perfect. Jo Anne and Rev. Will were so helpful during the entire process. It felt like we had known them our entire lives. The location is in a very private area with great space for beautiful pictures. There is also a great bridal suite for the bride to get ready. Our ceremony took place under the gazebo while the cocktail hour and reception was on the veranda and in the carriage house. The fountain and lighting at night was spectacular! During the ceremony Jo Anne guided everyone as she did during the introductions at the reception. They know how to make a bride feel special. Jo Anne even helped out with the ceremony as I forgot a few details, she was there to the rescue. All my guest enjoyed themselves and danced all night. The catering Rock Hill recommended was great as well. In the end my husband and I had the best day of our lives at Rock Hill Plantation House. I would recommend getting married there to everyone!

Our wedding at Rock Hill was exactly as we envisioned it, probably even better! This was due to the beautiful grounds and most definitely wonderful owners who truly helped make our event a success. We have no complaints but will try to highlight our experience. Rev. Will and Jo Anne will be flexible in scheduling a visit. They did this for us on numerous occasions, as we were living in different states and had a few things happen last minute (e.g., groom leaving the country for a few months). When you meet them, you will immediately notice that they run the venue because they really enjoy working with couples and planning their big day. If Rev. Will conducts your ceremony, he will work with you to customize everything how you want it. Jo Anne will tell you that she serves as the ‘day-of-coordinator’ but in reality she does a lot more than that! She takes the time to care about the details and will help with everything she can. We were on a budget and they went out of their way suggesting vendors they had worked with in the past or who they had heard offered good pricing for their services without compromising quality. Once we booked Rock Hill, a significant number of emails and phone calls were exchanged with Rev. Will and Jo Anne. They are prompt in replying and take the time to not only address your questions and concerns, but also provide suggestions and mention anything they think might be of help to you. A rehearsal is usually held the day before the event. We had a few issues come up and were allowed to drop off some things then. We had to make two trips and when we arrived the second time, Jo Anne had already set up what we had dropped off during the first trip! On the day of the event, the ceremony was very touching (lots of tears from everyone) and Jo Anne and the rest of the vendors took care of everything. This allowed us to remain stress-free and simply enjoy ourselves. We have received many compliments from guests regarding the venue and its owners!

We got married at Rock Hill Plantation House September 7. The venue was absolutely gorgeous! My friends and family are still raving about how beautiful everything was. Lovely landscaping, picturesque rolling hills with a pond and fabulous old trees. Jo Anne and Will of course made it even more wonderful by taking care of everything that day so I didn't have to worry! So warm and kind, and very professional! I can say I would definitely recommend the location to anyone who can appreciate such a beautiful, natural setting for their wedding ceremony and reception.

Everyone was so wonderful to us, made the whole planning process smooth and easy and felt very comfortable through it all. While most brides take a while to find the perfect venue, my fiancé and I were able to find ours within one visit to Rock Hill. I never envisioned myself marrying on a southern plantation, but I had no choice but to make Rock Hill my venue after meeting JoAnne and Will Cannon. Will made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door while JoAnne focused on every detail with such grace and organization. If you are looking for a medium size venue that does both ceremonies and reception halls in one location, Rock Hill offers the most beautiful setting for an amazing price. But really, it's not the setting or price that makes this venue great - it is the people. I know that yearly Rev Will and JoAnne have over 60 brides a year, but I felt like I was their only one every time I met with them. If you're looking for a picturesque scene with an amazing background team, Rock Hill is your place!

Jo Anne and Will made our wedding day the most beautiful day of our lives. They both have an abundance of wedding planning skills and wonderful attention to detail. Additionally, they have absolutely fabulous recommendations when it comes to other wedding vendors with whom they work regularly. Jo Anne and Will are so warm and welcoming and give so much care to each aspect of your wedding that you will be able to relax and feel confident that your day will go off perfectly no matter what. They really are the best! The picturesque setting in the rural Virginia countryside was most romantic and made for lovely wedding photos. There could not have been a more perfect location than Rock Hill Plantation House, nor more thoughtful owners/coordinators than Jo Anne and Will. We definitely recommend that you meet them and see their gorgeous place when you are shopping for your wedding venue.

This is an absolutely exquisite venue in Stafford Virginia that has everything we needed for the perfect wedding day. We were able to have the wedding and reception at the same location and that made things very convenient for us and our guests. Rev. Will and Jo Anne were amazing making sure everyone knew what to do and where to be. It was a completely stress free day. Every bride should be able to have a wedding experience this easy and beautiful. People are still talking about the great time they had at our wedding.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Rock Hill Plantation on May 3, 2013. I knew right away when I saw the place online it was the place we would get married. We met with Reverend Will and JoAnne and instantly fell in love with it and them. It was so wonderful to see two people so committed to each other and their love as they are. They provided a list of vendors in our area which gave us plenty of options to choose from. Jo Anne was always there to answer questions and guide us in making the right decisions for our big day. Over the months leading up to our wedding, Jo Anne and I stayed in contact to make sure everything was going well. Finally the wedding day was here. I had ordered the flowers online so when they came the boutonnieres were not cut and Jo Anne took care of getting them cut and ready. She also contacted the caterer to have the linens delivered a day earlier so we could decorate right after the rehearsal! We had the rehearsal the day before and went over everything. Our wedding day turned out to be a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding! The sun was shining and it was just a gorgeous setting. Jo Anne attended to all the details with the wedding programs, DJ, photographer, cake, and caterers it was just a perfect day at the perfect place! When I walked down the aisle and saw my handsome husband to be in front of the gazebo it literally took my breath away. The setting was just so fantastic and every detail was taken care of. The reception was just as wonderful! Jo Anne had the bird cage and guest book setup outside on the veranda for the guests. The hall looked fabulous especially with the up-lighting. Jo Anne and Reverend Will joined in the celebration, dancing, making sure all the vendors were on track, and occasionally posing for pictures lol! It was an amazing day and I wouldn't have changed one thing about it.

Helpful suggestions based on years of experience are there for the asking!
In our experience, the owners made extra effort to be available as needed and took personal care in establishing a relationship with the bride and groom and the family.

I can not say enough about our outstanding experience at rock hill plantation. From the day I met Rev Will and JoAnn as well as the tour of the beautiful plantation site...I knew this is where my daughter would be married. Rev Will and JoAnn provided 100% support during our year of planning and took every step to ensure her day was personal and special. When asked by friends and coworker "how was my daughter's wedding" ..... All I could say was "PERFECT". In my daughters words....."my fairy tale wedding came true". Thank you Rev Will and JoAnn for playing a significant role in making this day truly magnificent !!

We loved having our wedding at Rock Hill! Not only was it an absolutely gorgeous property that all our guests raved about, but working with the Cannons was wonderful. Jo Ann is just about the best person you could have on your side as a bride. She went above and beyond just helping us with the venue arrangements. She even intervened with a few vendors who we had trouble with and was able to resolve our issues within an hour. She makes you feel like you and your wedding her top priority, even though she plans so many weddings. She and Rev. Will made us feel like part of their family. We can't recommend Rock Hill enough!

We immediately booked and were so excited to get started! Jo Anne and Rev.Will were so helpful. Finally the wedding was here and I could not have done it without Jo Anne's dedication. We had the rehearsal the day before and went over everything. Our wedding day was close to when Hurricane Sandy was going to hit the east coast- so we went over a plan B option just in case it rained. Luckily it didn't- and my wedding day was everything I could have imagined. Jo Anne made sure everything went smoothly and is there to put your mind at ease. She even got up and danced with us during the reception :) It was amazing and I wouldn't have changed one thing. This venue is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone!

The first time I met the owners of Rock Hill Plantation I felt like family, they are both welcoming and loving and helped me make my day the very best it could be! They provided me with a lengthy list of vendors that are used regularly which helped us greatly in choosing who we can trust in making this day a memorable one! The Plantation home is gorgeous and the grounds are amazing, which helps make for Beautiful photos! I received many great compliments on my choice of venue from all of my family and friends as well! If you choose to have your wedding or event here you will not be disappointed!

Rev. Will and Joanne were just amazing. My daughters wedding was everything she wanted! We were on a race against time with Hurricane Sandy and they were great in keeping things running smoothly! Beautiful venue, and great people!

I do believe that Rev. Will and Jo Anne were as much of a hit with my family and friends as was the beautiful venue! We were delighted by the personal attention they gave to EVERY detail. They are both really amazing people - and so genuine - a rare find these days. They cared about our feelings, concerns, and held our hands through every step of our planning. They offerred invaluable advice, encouragement and support. We treasure the whole experience working with Rev. Will and Jo Anne this past year They made us all feel so special and loved! EVERY bride deserves the wonderful attention they offered our daughter. We put the cards on the table, but they played the hand and it was a winning hand all the way! We are filled with fabulous memories of a most precious and perfect day! We could not have asked for a finer venue than Rock Hill Plantation House, We also could not have asked for nicer people than Rev. Will and Jo Anne to share our daughter's wedding with - they offerred love, and heart to our whole event.

Rock Hill Plantation is the perfect venue for such a happy occasion, you can feel it as soon as you step foot onto the property. Also, Rev Will and Jo Anne were absolutely wonderful to work with. I was so nervous about everything, I figured I would trip, it would rain, you name it, I thought it! Jo Anne gave me a big hug right before the ceremony, told me I looked beautiful and that it was going to be a fantastic wedding.. She was so right. Everyone loved them, loved the location and it was honestly the PERFECT day. Not only did I get to marry the love of my life, I got to have the wedding of my dreams. :)

Jo Anne and Will were a real pleasure to work with. Will did an amazing job with the ceremony. Jo Anne made sure my day was perfect and she took on the stress of that day so I didn't have to. My guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the property and the wedding. Jo Anne offered her help and suggestions whenever I needed it. I would do it all over again if I could. Joanne and Will were fantastic from start to finish. I didn't use Rev Will for our ceremony but that didn't matter they treated all my guests and family as if we were their family and made certain that on the big day my mom and I had to do nothing. It was perfect in every sense of the word. The venue was beautiful! Most definitely visit them!

Enough great things cannot be said about Rock Hill Plantation House and the owners JoAnne and Rev. Will. The Plantation was beautiful and intimate. JoAnne and Rev. Will made us feel like family. They are not only warm and wonderful individuals but they are 100% professional. JoAnne took care of every detail and was there throughout the entire wedding making sure everything was perfect...which it was! Because of JoAnne we had absolutley NO stress in planning the wedding or the day of. We didn't have to double check any detail, she coordinated and handle all of our requests. JoAnne was always available to us whenever we needed her in the months leading up to the wedding. We had 100% confidence in JoAnne and just knew the wedding would be exactly what we wanted because of her. Rock Hill is where everyone should have their wedding! Words can not express how AMAZING this place and these people are. The Cannon's are some of the nicest, simply amazing people we've ever met. They made sure that our wedding day was perfect. We planned our entire wedding in 2 months and a lot of that was because Jo Anne Cannon helped me figure out everything and they were so understanding. Will Cannon was our Officiant and we LOVED him. Simply amazing people. The property was absolutely beautiful and very well kept. Very professional people that know exactly what they are doing. I would get married over and over again if I was able to do it everytime with Rock Hill Plantation.

I was completely blown away by how perfect our wedding turned out at Rock Hill Plantation! I expected everything to go wrong on the wedding day, but everyone worked so hard to make sure that didn't happen! JoAnne knows what she is doing! She takes over as wedding coordinator and things just fall in place! She eased everyone's nerves and made sure things went along as planned. Even when our cake fell apart, she handled it with grace and I never even had to freak out. (: I couldn't have had a better wedding day thanks to these people and their beautiful home. The reception area dresses up beautifully and the porch looks wonderful with the flowers and buffet/bar set up! The gazebo makes for beautiful pictures. It was just perfect!
