Since we reached out to request him to DJ our wedding, he's been nothing other than organized, on top of things, professional, personable and a pleasure to work with. Truly without him our wedding wouldn't have been as special as it was. Selecting Jeff Marcus of Rock Around the Clock Wedding and Event Entertainment is the easiest decision you will make. He was great to work with from the early planning stages to executing on the big day. We loved that we could give him as much or as little input as we were comfortable giving on every aspect of the night. On those decisions where we deferred to his expertise, we couldn't be happier with how it came out--he is truly a professional at his craft. The timeline he constructed made for easy planning and a smooth wedding day. At our request, he timed our ceremony exit music to ensure we heard the favorite part of the song. The playlist he put together for our reception received compliments all night long from every age group. He read the room well, made situational changes with ease, and was a wonderful emcee. Amazing Experience!

Jeff was amazing! My mother in law referred him to be our DJ on 7-8-22. I felt like I personally was completely unorganized and couldn’t make sense of how it would all flow together, until I had my meeting with Jeff. Once I had my meeting closer to the wedding, I knew everything made sense and would be amazing! Come the day of, and it was. He was so fun to have. Definitely made everything flow and make the most sense. He was professional and completely organized. Loved every second of working with him! Made it so easy! Everyone talked about how great he was afterwards! Thanks for everything!!!

He kept EVERYONE on the dance floor until the very last minute

Jeff Marcus was everything we could have ever wanted in a DJ. He is very organized and professional, and he kept EVERYONE on the dance floor until the very last minute of our wedding. About two weeks before the big day, we had a meeting to go over the timeline and the specific songs we wanted played and it was clear then that we were in good hands. The reception ran smoothly thanks to him, and I cannot emphasize how big our dance party was until the end of the night. My great aunt, who rarely leaves her house, refused to leave the party because it was so much fun. Pretty much every other song had a reason to get people back on the dance floor (girls dance, anniversary dance, etc) and at one point we had a huge circle with everyone singing and swaying with arms wrapped around each other to Bohemian Rhapsody. If we had to plan another wedding, asking Jeff Marcus to DJ is the first thing we would do.

Best DJ ever

Jeff did an amazing job at our wedding this past weekend! I got so many compliments during and after the wedding on how great the music was! Jeff kept track of me and the groom and let us know when it was time to move on the the next part of the reception. He was very organized and had everything planned out for us so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Communication before the wedding was great as well. He had planned a few phone calls and a Skype call to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. If you want to have the best night ever we would definitely recommend giving Jeff a call!

Flawless DJ and Master of Ceremonies Service!

We hired Jeff to DJ our wedding at the Desert Botanical Garden in March 2020. He exceeded our expectations for a wedding DJ from start to finish. Firstly, I was impressed with the quality of sound setup. There was no microphone feedback or issues with volume control. The guests could hear our vows and the duet my husband and I performed together. He set a fun tone for the reception as well and even made sure the people giving toasts knew what to do! I most appreciated the great work on the reception flow. He helped us plan our reception and really centered the parts that were most important to us. We didn't have to dictate every song, and he ended up playing a set of our favorites and crowd favorites to keep everyone dancing. We wanted to make the wedding a reflection of our personalities but also use his expertise to create a fun experience for guests. He definitely made that happen! He was also very prompt with answering calls and emails. We would recommend him 100%!

Jeff is the best!

Jeff is an incredibly talented, kind human being who was the perfect host for our wedding! My husband and I were planning a wedding in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Jeff was more than accommodating, especially in the planning process. We video chatted several times to plan out the day, and Jeff was incredibly responsive to all of the email communication in between. My husband and I planned a choreographed first dance with a special playlist mashup, and Jeff made sure it went off without any problems! We’ve been married for almost four years now, and we rewatch the video of our first dance every year on our anniversary, and we’re always so thankful that we never had to worry about the music! If you’re looking for someone to make sure all of the important moments of the day are heard and keep the celebration going (without spending your whole budget), Jeff is your guy! Best Decision!

Jeff is an incredibly hard worker with a true passion for what he does. For me, aside from marrying my wonderful husband, the music was the most important aspect of the wedding. Jeff took our two very different music styles, blended them together, and created the perfect atmosphere! He was incredibly well-organized and had the forethought to capture key moments on video! He kept the party going with the perfect mix of games and music. He even had my mom jumping around on the dance floor which was easily one of the most memorable moments of the evening! I would recommend or use him again in a heartbeat!

DJ for 02/22/20 Gilbert Wedding

Jeff was amazing for our wedding. We found him off of Val Vista Lake's preferred vendor list. He came off as very professional and experienced on our first skype interview and we knew immediately that we'd be comfortable hiring him for our wedding.

We were so impressed by how prepared he was which made us feel prepared with him. He gave us a worksheet with preparation questions before our first consultation which gave us a list of songs to pick and recommendations for events for the day. During the consultation we went over our song choice and vision for the set list for our cocktail hour and reception. The best part was going over our timeline for the day and listening to his recommendations for when to have our entrance, parent's dance, cake cutting, etc. to keep our guests engaged all night.

On our wedding day, Jeff showed up early and had everything setup before our cocktail hour and even kept us informed on the weather on if we could do the cocktail hour inside our outside. He was a great help on informing our guests of events and where to go throughout the evening. He was absolutely killer when the father of the bride went missing before the father/daughter dance. He kept up with entertaining all of us with jokes and improvising the timing to have the mother/son dance first while we looked for the father of the bride.

The best part was that Jeff knows how to read the room and keep people on the dance floor. Once the dancing started people were on the dance floor all night long. He absolutely knows how to choose a banger to keep people dancing.

Our wedding was perfect and Jeff was a huge reason we enjoyed our day so much.

So fun and friendly

I have been to a few weddings with Jeff Marcus from Rock Around the Clock and have been impressed with him every time, which is why I chose him for my own. He really does a good job at keeping the flow going so it doesn't lag and get boring, while also not being cheesy or corny. He had everyone on their feet dancing and it was a blast. He sat down with us and went over every song we requested and what kind of genres we wanted. He does a great job at keeping everything running smoothly and is very professional!

Don't hesitate... book Jeff!

Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding day - and WOW did Jeff do INCREDIBLE! Hiring a DJ had me anxious - I'm quite picky when it comes to my music choices, and I wanted to make sure our guests were on the dance floor all.night.long. Jeff did just that! Everyone was dancing the night away, and Jeff did such a good job of mixing our 'must play' songs with songs he knew would get people dancing (without being cliche). I'm SO HAPPY we booked Jeff! If you're deciding on a DJ... don't look any further. He knows what he's doing!! I was worried I would have to control the music selection all night, and I didn't have to think about it once. He played the perfect mix of 80s, 90s and today that got our friends in our 20s and parents in the 50s dancing to every song! AND all of his announcements were spot on! He followed our timeline perfectly and checked in with us throughout the night. We truly couldn't have asked for a better DJ and Master of Ceremonies!

Jeff is truly the best DJ in Arizona! His attention to detail and efficient planning process it made it easy for us during the sometimes stressful period of planning for our wedding. Awesome Wedding DJ

Jeff was great!My husband and I were really happy that we hired him to DJ our wedding. He sent us really helpful planning docs in advance. Then our pre-wedding meeting really helped to solidify things. His experience and knowledge was obvious as he talked us through the details and options of how to run everything smoothly to make sure our guests had a great time. I appreciated how he took the time to get to know our music styles and favorite songs. Our reception was a great time. Jeff did a superb job of keeping things moving at a good pace, energizing the crowd out on the dance floor, playing a great mix of upbeat and slow songs. Plus his updated idea of how to run the anniversary dance and keep people out on the dance floor was great. My family members came up to me afterwards to say how much they enjoyed how the DJ ran the reception. I would definitely recommend Jeff again!

Perfect for all types of weddings!

Jeff did a wonderful job at our outdoor afternoon wedding reception. His music was upbeat and well known by all generations. Wedding DJ

For anyone who is looking to hire a DJ, my husband and I highly recommend Jeff! He was our DJ for our wedding and he rocked it! EVERYONE had a blast because of him! He read the crowd so wonderfully and played a variety of music to get everyone out on the dance floor:). He was also so entertaining, played a few games to get the crowd to laugh and had a great energetic personality on top of it😊 He was great at checking in with us on our timeline to make sure we were on track and also communicated very well with the photographer to make sure she didn’t miss a thing. Jeff is simply terrific! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about his work. My husband and I hired him for our wedding and from the way he set up his equipment, the songs he selected, to how he played and transitioned from each song was excellent. We also added his lighting service for our reception which looked beautiful. We wanted a romantic, storybook ambiance to our wedding and that’s exactly what we received from Jeff. Jeff Marcus is brilliant at what he does. I did not give him a simple task, yet he flourished. My husband and I come from a background filled with music. We love all sorts of genres and artists, most are fairly underground. However Jeff incorporated many of them into our big day. He offered advice that helped us determine what type of music to play, and when. My husband and I have an intercultural relationship, and many of his family members speak mostly Spanish, and Jeff was able to put together a playlist that catered to ALL of our guests. He knew how to keep the party going throughout the whole night! He was great about ensuring we followed the timeline so vendors could get out on time, but was not pushy with it- he knew sometimes things run behind. One of the best things about Jeff was all of the videos he took of the dance floor. He was able to get things the photographer could not, and captured them in a way that was so candid. I would very, very highly recommend Rock Around the Clock! Thanks Jeff!!!!

Our wedding went more wonderfully than we could have EVER expected, and we are completely sure that this is entirely thanks to Jeff at Rock Around the Clock.

The ceremony was beautiful, his music timing was faded in and out to perfection and the music as people were coming in gave the feeling we were going for. Once it was time for the reception, the uplighting we wanted was a difficult color to get out of normal lights, we had a very specific blue that lights often don't hit, but Jeff had the exact color we needed that really brought the room all together. Our guests danced all night long, ALL OF THEM.

During the planning process, Jeff made sure he understood what our tastes in music were and what our guests may enjoy. He puts a lot of time and thought into how to give you every activity you want without it feeling overbearing to the guests.

Jeff is so much more than just a DJ, he is a wonderful person to talk to, he communicates with your other vendors to make everything run smoothly, he gets candid video of your guests having fun, and most importantly he is an artist of your wedding ambiance.

If we ever need another DJ for ANYTHING, we will always ask Jeff first. Thank you for making our day come out of our dreams and into reality.

My husband and I interviewed a few potential DJs for our wedding this last January before unanimously agreeing on DJ Jeff. And boy, we couldn't be happier with our decision! We came away from our meetings with him with the confidence that our Big Day was in good hands. DJ Jeff clearly knows his craft! To make his life a bit harder (wink, wink),we had a multicultural wedding featuring a playlist comprised of traditional music and our sample 70s, 80s, 90s and current Top 40 selections. He did an amazing job keeping our guests entertained and the dance floor packed during our reception. It was truly a blast! There is a fine line between MC'ing and just plain ol' interrupting the festivities with too many announcements. DJ Jeff more than achieved that balance. He knew just when to interject to keep the crowd going and let the music speak for itself the rest of the time. He was great at gauging the multicultural crowd, knew just what to play to keep the momentum going and greatly contributed to the atmosphere of our special night. Way to go DJ Jeff! Our wedding day was perfect! Thank you for literally being our center man who ran a flawless show. Every little detail we had planned was executed without a hitch. And your ability to accommodate our photographers so no big events were missed was greatly appreciated. Had you not done that we would have been missing photos from some big memories. Jeff was such a great choice for us for our wedding! I put my husband in charge of finding us a fun, affordable DJ for our wedding day, and he did it! Jeff was quick to respond to any questions, and he was helpful and patient with us during our planning process. He had some suggestions for different interactive during the reception to keep our guests entertained. Jeff was so professional and so much fun. We danced the night away, and our guests have mentioned to us many times how much fun they had at our wedding because of our DJ. Our timeline got off a little bit with dinner not being served timely, so I was willing to forgo our photographer capturing our bouquet and garter toss to capture some other moments, but Jeff reworked some things and made sure we were able to get it all so that my husband and I could have those memories too. Looking at our photos, I am happy we were able to get these fun moments. Additionally, after the wedding, Jeff sent us some videos he had captured both during our ceremony and our reception that are just little extras that makes him an above and beyond choice for a DJ. Thank you Jeff for all of your hard work and helping us have a wedding we will never forget!

Absolutely the best DJ there is. Hands down. He is organized, professional, easy and best of all he is a complete BLAST. My fiancé and I were very particular with what we wanted in a DJ and Jeff was the perfect fit. He had everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Most surprisiny, the adults were dancing and having just as much fun as the young adults! As the groom, I was constantly complimented on three things all night long.... my wife, my wedding, and the DJ. I was told on several occasions by several people that he was the best DJ they have ever seen and I could not agree more. He has a presence to him and holds a party beautifully. He reads the crowd and knows exactly the perfect “play” at the perfect time. He made the reception hands down. Thank you Jeff!!!!!

Jeff is the man. I am convinced that you won't find a better wedding DJ anywhere. There is a reason that he has such positive reviews on here and The Knot. We looked through a long list of DJs before deciding to book Jeff, and I know that we made the right decision.

He provides all of the materials needed to get started planning your wedding, so he was actually a big help for us early in the planning stages. He has a ton of experience with weddings, so he has all sorts of useful advice and will help you get started with planning your big day.

Measure twice, cut once, that is how Jeff operates. If you want a DJ who will listen to you, make sure that everything goes according to plan, and has the experience to keep the party going, Jeff is your man. He has been doing this a long time and knows how to keep people on the dance floor. He also has really good equipment that he maintains well including wireless lights, good PA systems for both the ceremony and reception, and he can get you a custom monogram for the dance floor.

I never had any problem getting a hold of Jeff. He responds to texts quickly, takes phone calls, is very responsive and will take his time to ensure that you get what you need. When I was looking through his reviews on here, I noticed that he responds to all of his reviews. This is a man who cares about his job, his clients, and making your wedding day the best experience that it can possible be. He did all of those things for us. Thank you Jeff, you are amazing!

Jeff was awesome! We truly think we could not have had a better DJ! From the start, he made us excited about planning the flow of our day and picking the music that would make our wedding personalized and fun. Throughout the process, we could contact him about any questions we had, last minute changes, and we got to meet with him in person before hand which we loved, to go over our wedding day details! The day of went perfectly - we cannot thank Jeff enough for how he made our day flow perfectly and effortlessly. He was so organized and fun the day of, without being at all corny like other DJs sometimes are. He was also so organized, he even contacted our vendors with a timeline update for the day of, which we thought was super helpful. So many of our guests commented how they thought our DJ was awesome and so professional, and everyone loved the selection of music that suited our wedding perfectly. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception, Jeff executed everything perfectly so that we didn't have to worry about a thing and could truly enjoy the day to its fullest. We are so thankful for Jeff and would recommend him in a heart beat!

I can't speak highly enough of Jeff Marcus. He took the time to truly understand my husband's music tastes, my tastes and music preferences for our guests. By breaking down our attendees by their age demographic, he was able to select music that appealed to a broad range of ages. The night started off with some of the classics enjoyed by all, and then transitioned into more of a "party" scene for our younger guests. It. Was. Perfect.

In addition to his music selection, he was incredibly personable and easy to work with. It's more than just picking music and walking away — he was involved with the crowd, actively taking video on his own phone (which he promptly sent to us the following day), and seamlessly tying in activities between songs.

11/10 I would absolutely recommend him. He's talented and thoughtful, and you won't regret working with him!

Jeff was great! He was so helpful in planning out my wedding timeline, it wasn't overwhelming for me at all. He played all the music my friends and I love, and people were raving about him after the wedding! He also sent me several videos of important moments that my family hadn't captured on video! Jeff Marcus with Rock Around The Clock Wedding and Event Entertainment was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From day 1, Jeff was very responsive to all emails/phone calls and very helpful in planning how the wedding would go from the first ceremony music all the way to the last song. He also helped us with the presentation of our slideshow by setting up a screen and projector - it went seamlessly! We are still getting compliments from our guests regarding Jeff and his skills as the DJ; he was definitely the reason the party kept going strong until the end of the night! He was very interactive too, reading the crowd and playing requests, which our guests loved! I would 1000% recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding! Five+ stars!

Rock Around the Clock Entertainment/Jeff Marcus was also such an amazing selection. Jeff was so engaging from day one to make sure that we were on the same page for music selection, up lighting, and interaction with guests, which was very important for us to make the reception run smoothly. He thought of everything and sent over a questionnaire to make sure that he know as much as possible about our guests and music preferences. He also took photos and videos of the ceremony and reception and sent them to me the same night. He is absolutely the best DJ that I have ever experienced and we were so lucky to find him for our big day!

LOVE Jeff, just professional and full of life!! We were given a list of DJs that we could select from by our venue. We called a couple and, honestly, all seemed a bit goofy and overpriced. We were concerned as we wanted a personal, professional, fun experience for our wedding. From meeting #1 with Jeff we knew he was the one. He was very professional, kind and listened well to our needs. Jeff was the DJ and my husband's and my 12/10/16 wedding...we could have not asked for a better DJ. He was the best! I had a wide variety of music genre's that I wanted to be played and he had them all. He kept the crowd up and moving all night long. We had a couple requests for some old songs that I have never heard of but he had them and our guests were so excited to have them played. My uncles love the unedited version of S.O.B. and Jeff had downloaded it special and when it came on the whole crowd was on the dance floor singing along. My biggest fear for the wedding was that people would not dance and participate...I should not have wasted time worrying...Jeff kept them busy and happy! He knew when to slow the crowd and how to speed them up. You will not regret having him DJ your wedding.

We booked Rock Around the Clock, Jeff Marcus, for our wedding on Nov 4th 2016. Jeff was absolutely amazing to us!! He was extremely responsive since the moment we reached out to him. We did not meet with any other DJs after meeting with Jeff. Within the first hour of meeting with him, we asked him to be our DJ. From that moment forward, Jeff did as much as he could to help us plan our big day for a smooth running. Jeff is not just a DJ, but he is more like a close friend that helps you along the way with planning your big event. Our wedding started an hour late (because at least one thing has to go wrong on your big day lol). Jeff was absolutely incredible with timing everything perfectly so that you would never know we were behind schedule. He was always touching base with us throughout the night to make sure we knew what was coming up next, or just checking in to make sure we were having a great time. Our guests loved him! He kept the people on the dance floor, myself included! My groom and I had a blast, dancing the night away. We could not have been happier with how everything turned out. I would recommend Jeff to everyone wanting a reliable, trusting, FUN, outgoing, and more-like-a-friend DJ for your event. I could go on! We will definitely be booking Rock Around the Clock for any of our future events :)

Jeff was simply amazing from start to finish. He kept the perfect tempo the entire evening. There was participation from everyone at our wedding. My boss, my 84 year old grandma and my 8 year old sister. Everyone was on the dance floor. He was organized and kept our day all about us. Jeff is fantastic - my maid of honor and her family said they'd even fly Jeff out to Chicago for her future wedding! Just to give an idea of how good Jeff is :) all night friends and family kept saying how "on point" the music was, especially during the reception where everyone danced all night! Nate and I were so impressed with Jeff and his work. He is patient, a good listener, and made our wedding, our own vision, come to life. His timing was perfect - when we kissed at the ceremony, to transitioning to cake cutting. He was able to set up 3 systems - for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at a very reasonable price, including a beautiful uplifhting package. Jeff's experience, and most of all how much he enjoys his work truly shows. It made our day that much more special and so fun! Hands down the best DJ we could have asked for.

Choosing a DJ was easily that most difficult part of wedding planning for my husband and I. Every DJ we spoke to had very strong opinions (some about parts of the wedding that didn’t even involve them!) and overwhelming personalities, and Jeff was the first DJ we met that we felt comfortable with. He was a complete professional from start to finish, and clearly knew what he was doing. He even had a “back-up” DJ to step in if he couldn’t make the wedding for some reason, but only once in decades of his career had done so; we found out later that he had actually been sick the week before our wedding, but went to great lengths to make sure he was good to go for our big day (if he wasn’t feeling 100%, we couldn’t tell at all). He did a great job communicating with the other vendors and managing the timeline of the reception. With the exception of the scheduled dances, we let Jeff use his own judgment on the music throughout the reception, and we were very happy with his choices—he definitely took our preferences on genres and classics into account. The dance floor was packed almost the whole night, and everyone had a rockin’ time!

Dj Jeff did an absolutely incredible job! Was so much fun to work with and had our guests on the dance floor all night long. While planning our wedding, my husband and I agreed on one thing unequivocally: we wanted our reception to be a nonstop party, with people on the dance floor all night. Jeff went above and beyond to deliver this for us. Jeff showed his enthusiasm and dedication to making our wedding day a memorable, exciting event, getting to know us as a couple and making sure to incorporate music and activities that reflected that, making everything feel so personal. Jeff helped us decide on music choices for big moments throughout the ceremony and reception, as well as helping to design a schedule for the night. He was flexible, allowing us to make some last-minute changes to some of the activities we wanted to include in the reception. On the day of, he showed up right on time and quickly and discreetly set up his equipment. The music for the ceremony was a perfect volume, and he provided a microphone for our officiant. For the reception, Jeff stayed on top of the schedule we’d designed with him, helping to keep the night running smoothly. He played a great mix of music, making sure that guests of all ages were entertained and pulled onto the dance floor, and included some crowd-involving songs that got everyone on their feet and singing along. He took requests from guests and made a point to play many of our favorite songs. Jeff discreetly ran the show, from the bridal party entrance to the first dance, speeches, cake-cutting, games and more, but also made sure never to become too overbearing, having mastered the art of knowing when to jump in to get things going, and when to step back and let the party roll on. At the end of the night, the dance floor had never slowed down, and everyone we talked to after could only rave about how much fun they had and how they couldn’t remember the last time they had danced so much. Most importantly, they all said that the wedding perfectly reflected us as a couple. Thank you, Jeff, for making our wedding such a fun and unforgettable event!

I have to admit that picking a DJ was one of the more difficult decisions for me during the wedding planning process; mainly because I am very frugal. I interviewed all of the DJs on my venue's vendor list and it was difficult to compare apples to apples as most of the DJs offered something that other DJs on the list didn't. One might think that all DJs are alike (at least I did before interviewing several), but ultimately, I felt most comfortable with Jeff. I knew soon after talking to him that we would be in great hands with him as our DJ. One of my big concerns with a Sunday wedding was that people would leave early. So, I wanted to make sure we had a fab DJ that would keep the party going as long as we had the venue. But… Jeff wasn't the cheapest DJ I interviewed and the frugal side of me had a hard time putting that aside (I should also note that Jeff wasn't the most expensive either). Most of the DJs were willing to price match the lowest offer, but that was not the case with Jeff. While he did come down on his price a bit, he wasn't able to come down as far as the lowest offer. After I narrowed it down between Jeff and one other DJ, I asked my venue coordinator who she would recommend between the two (I didn't mention anything about cost). With a bit of hesitation (she can't not recommend the others since they are on their preferred list) she said something to the effect of "every bride and groom are different….". Then I asked her, "if this was your wedding, which of the two would you go with?" Without hesitation this time, she said Jeff. This sealed the deal for me, and I booked Jeff. And in the end, I'm glad I did. He was so detailed and on top of everything, taking off any pressure on me the day of the wedding. And, while we weren't going to keep everyone at the party until 9:30 on a Sunday, Jeff did manage to keep the out of town guests who had no obligations in the morning dancing until closing time. Jeff was worth every penny!

By now I thought I would have the words to express how incredible Jeff is, since we got married almost 6 months ago, but there truly aren’t words. Jeff was the FIRST vendor we booked for our wedding, and it was purely because we knew that as long as we had Jeff, it didn’t matter what little thing went wrong, Jeff would bring the party and make it the best day of our lives. He was our safety net. You hear 1,000 times while you are planning your wedding that it goes by so quickly, it’s all about you, and you need to make sure you enjoy it. But let’s face it, you are essentially planning a big party for hundreds of your closest friends and family. It’s nearly impossible not to worry about the little things. Luckily, our family had a history of working with Jeff, so we were well aware of his talents. We got SO many compliments about Jeff. We had a New Years Eve wedding and so our reception was longer than usual. There was never a point where the dance floor was not packed. Jeff has this incredible ability to get EVERYONE dancing. He has been in the business for so long, he knows all the tricks to making the day run smoothly, and has some great surprises up his sleeve!! He helps you plan every detail and really takes the time to get to know each and every couple he works with. I promise booking him will be the best decision you make about your big day! He is professional and it is clear he takes pride in his work and truly enjoys what he does. Not only did he put on an amazing show for us, but as we were boarding the plane for our honeymoon, we got a text message from Jeff wishing us a happy honeymoon. He also attached about 12 wedding videos that he took throughout the night. It was such a nice touch. I had a lot of really great vendors, but Jeff was above and beyond the best.

Jeff was an awesome DJ! He was super nice and honest from the very beginning. He was very helpful with planning as well. My husband and I are Mexican and he was very good at making sure we had our Cumbias in the mix with other genres. We also did the Marcha which got complicated because we had a ton of people join and Jeff made sure it went smoothly! He was on top of everything the night of the wedding even making sure that all the other vendors were in sync with him and our timeline! He also provided up lighting for our reception which was something we added later but it was totally worth it! It the made the blah ballroom elegant! I'd recommend him to anyone!!

There is a reason Jeff has so many positive reviews and awards - he is the best! Jeff is an absolute pro DJ/MC and made the whole process so easy from day one. We exchanged several e-mails and phone calls, all of which were answered super fast, and even held a few Skype meetings to make sure that we were all on the same page for our wedding day. On top of that, Jeff was super accommodating for our rather unique playlist and constantly offered suggestions and ideas to help make the night as best as possible. Similar to other reviewers, I had quite a few guests come up to me and tell me how great of a DJ Jeff was on our wedding night. I would definitely recommend Jeff as the DJ/MC for any wedding!

We got married about 3 weeks ago and are still getting compliments on the entertainment Jeff brought to the wedding night! From the day we signed our contract to the day of the wedding Jeff maintained the friendliest, most professional attitude. We felt so comfortable after the first meeting that we spent the whole ride home talking about how excited we were to have someone with so much experience doing our wedding. Jeff did a phenomenal job keeping the morale of the entire night high and everything was timed perfectly. He was even able to capture some of the best video footage of the night and sent them to us via text a couples days later. I loved that especially because we were on our honeymoon, and that gave us a great look at everyone enjoying themselves from another perspective. We thank you so much for everything you did that night Jeff! We hope you enjoyed our crowd as much as they enjoyed you! :)

Jeff is awesome! Extremely professional and a whole lot of fun! From our initial meeting with him, to the last dance of the night, and everything in between.......Jeff can make it happen just the way you want it to! We could not be more pleased and thankful for Jeff’s exceptional performance during our wedding. From the planning process to the ‘day of’ execution, everything was impeccable. We requested a lot from Jeff, but he was able to make sure every detail was executed accordingly, as if this was his own wedding. Everything transitioned smoothly, the dance floor was always moving, and we received numerous compliments from our guests. There were points during the night where our guests left the dance floor with raspy voices because of the aggressive singing during our favorite songs.

Prior to our wedding reception, we mentally prepared ourselves for a few hiccups. We were a little behind schedule for the reception, due to us wanting to take a few more pictures with each other, but Jeff effortlessly got us back on track. Considering the importance of our wedding entertainment, we suggest inquiring with Jeff Marcus. Jeff did an amazing job at our wedding! He had so much experience and knowledge that made our wedding a night to remember. So many of our guests complimented on how wonderful he was. He was so flexible as well and kept the party going. My favorite thing about him is that he was present enough but not overpowering like some djs can be. He was perfect! Jeff was truly fantastic to work with! From the beginning, his professionalism, experience, and planning made him stand out above other DJs that we met with. He was always prompt in his responses to my many questions throughout the process. His planning tools were perfect to help fill in things that we did not even think about before hand. He was flexible in meeting with us, able to meet via Skype or the phone when needed. He had so many great ideas for song choices and activities to keep everyone engaged. The music and sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were perfect. He was high energy, engaged and responsive to how our guests were feeling that night. We received many compliments from guests about what a great job he did. My dad could not stop talking about how impressed he was. He also provided the uplighting for our venue and it was just the perfect touch to create the look we wanted. He took pictures and videos of special moments throughout the night and sent them to us right after the reception. This were the first pictures and videos I saw of the event and it was so nice of him to share. You cannot go wrong with choosing Jeff and Rock Around The Clock for your wedding! From the first conversation I had with Jeff, I knew he was going to be exactly what my now wife and I wanted for our wedding. Jeff is very easy to work with. We had no idea what to expect from a DJ or what information he would need from us, but he cleared that all up for us. He was very easy to communicate whenever we had questions. His experience in the industry helped up plan the flow of our entire night and it went off without a hitch! It was easy to tell that Jeff is passionate about giving his clients all of his effort to provide a great and memorable time.

Jeff was absolutely amazing. He truly made our night extra special by personalizing details, having a great understanding of how we wanted the night to flow, and then keeping everything on tract. He is a fabulous DJ, but he did so much more hat only play music. He provided the sound system for our outdoor ceromony, made sure the guests were getting to where they should be and when, and added extra special touches to make special memories including little entertainment and playing songs that where important. He also did a newlywed game that the guests thought was funny and enjoyable. Many of my friends and family members told me how great the night was and so very much of this is due to the incredible job Jeff did. He was very organized during planning as well as flexible and detailed in communications. Additionally Jeff grabbed some extra videos of our night that are of cherished moments. Thank you for making our night a dream come true!

Jeff was an incredible DJ! He really knew how to keep our group engaged and our party going! Jeff is very professional, experienced, organized and energetic. He got to know us a bit before our wedding and went out of his way to incorporate our personalities. He did a FANTASTIC job before, during and after our wedding. I am so glad I choose Rock Around the Clock to provide the DJ service for my reception. The music was great and Jeff was professional, friendly and fun. Jeff was an awesome DJ!! He met with us prior to the wedding to get to know us and our style of music, what our guests were like, etc. He also had some great suggestions that we incorporated into our wedding to make it more personalized, memorable, and fun! He found the perfect mix of songs to appeal to our whole crowd, and we had everyone dancing all night (no kidding, we had everyone up on the floor until the lights came back on). He was also great at taking suggestions from our guests, but balancing those requests with our wishes. Overall, he was just amazing, and he made the reception SO much fun!! I know when we were looking for DJs while planning, it seemed so hard to tell what each one would be like just based off of websites and such - honestly, though, I'd recommend Jeff to anyone and everyone, because he was so accommodating, helpful, and professional, that he will make the reception a blast and you won't have to worry about a thing.

My husband and I put off making a decision on a DJ for our wedding because we understood how much the DJ influences the vibe of the wedding... and we just didn't want to make the wrong decision. Jeff Marcus was an excellent DJ. He was responsive and professional. He kept our reception moving along nicely with just the right amount of narration. Jeff is wonderful, his experience is evident, I personally think the DJ is the most important vendor you hire for the reception, as I have been to a few weddings before that had subpar DJ's and was terrified that in hiring someone I did not know that I was at risk. I knew Jeff was the one after talking to him for five minutes. He contacted all my vendors with a schedule and my photographer said he was constantly giving him heads up so he didn't miss any important moments. His exact words were you could tell he really cared about you and the party, not just playing music to get paid. His price point was really reasonable he was in the middle of all the quotes I got but after experiencing him and having none of the vendors bug me all night because he kept them all informed, he is worth his weight in gold! Jeff also brings up the things you haven't though of when you meet with him to plan, that was really helpful. Many of our guests loved Jeff and offered to pay to extend the party! OUR WEDDING WAS PERFECT I COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HIM.

From our initial meeting with Jeff, we were impressed by his professionalism, organization, and enthusiasm. With many years of professional experience, we were very comfortable knowing that our Big Day would run smoothly. Jeff is great & should be added to preferred DJ for OT. All my guests were very impressed & so was the staff. Staff said he was one of the best DJs they have had at Orange Tree! Jeff was our DJ and lighting expert for our wedding and did an ABSOLUTELY amazing job! We received so many compliments during and after our wedding at what a great time they had and how amazing the DJ was. He kept the party going all night and made the night EPIC. Jeff did an excellent job in helping my partner and I with planning the music and flow of our wedding reception! We met with him several weeks before the wedding to plan out the evening. For our wedding we wanted it very tailored to our personalities and had a number of specific requests. From the music, to the activities we wanted to be sure all of our guests felt comfortable. Jeff did a great job during the planning process getting an idea of our vision and locating songs that were important to us. The planning guide he provided was very helpful in making sure we gave him all the necessary information to make our day a success. He even had a suggestion for wedding games we had never even heard of that were an absolute hit! It gave our wedding an extra unique touch which is what we wanted. Jeff was flexible and professional with last minute changes both during the planning process and on the day of. He went with the flow and made the changes appear seamless to our guests. DJ Jeff Marcus made our wedding the most memorable event not just for us but for our guests!! Leading up to our big event, we spoke on the phone several times, had a planning meeting and he even personally called me 2 days before the wedding just to check-in. During our planning meeting he was so helpful, he even made that fun! It was the best wedding planning meeting we had! He made sure the wedding and reception were perfect! He engaged the guests and kept the party moving! We still have guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever attended and specifically mention the "fun and interactive DJ!" We made the best choice by picking Rock Around the Clock for our wedding DJ. The first time we met with Jeff we knew he was the one. Jeff was very helpful throughout the wedding planning. He showed us pictures and videos of his previous weddings, sampled his up-lighting and gave us ideas on songs that we were stuck on. We had some major changes a month before the wedding and Jeff just rolled with it and made sure everything was perfect for us. On the wedding day, Jeff kept us in the loop and made sure we were ready for whatever was coming next. We had so many compliments from our wedding party and guests about how great he was. He kept the partying going all night and I (the bride) NEVER left the dance floor. We couldn't have asked for anything more and we so appreciate all Jeff's help. We've been to many weddings and he is by far the best DJ.
