When we started wedding planning the first thing people always told me was that, "Choosing your wedding photographer is the most important thing because you spend so much time with them on your wedding day." Robyn Rachel Photography was absolutely the perfect choice. Our decision to work with Robyn Rachel Photography was the best wedding planning decision we made.

From the first day we met Robyn, to the engagement shoot, pre-wedding phone calls, and of course on our wedding day, Robyn Rachel displayed a level of professionalism that can’t be matched. Robyn Rachel made us so comfortable throughout the entire process and above all was so much fun to work with. She has an eye for detail and possesses an uncanny ability to capture such amazing shots.

It is hard to put into words how happy we were with our wedding photos. Her final product was jaw dropping spectacular. Each photo was better than the next. I know for a fact that every time we pick up our photo album it will remind us of how brilliant she was in capturing our special day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Robyn Rachel Photography - I love her work, respect her as an artist and truly enjoyed spending time with her and her staff!! Our experience with Robyn was no less than exceptional. She was a pleasure to work with. But more importantly, she is an amazingly talented artist. Robyn has a unique ability to compose images that simultaneously capture the essence of a couple's dynamic and the spontaneity of the moment.

When deciding to hire Robyn, we were intentionally forward thinking. We knew we wanted photographs from our wedding day that would timelessly capture the emotions of the moment so that we could relive that memory for years to come. Robyn gave us exactly that. We absolutely loved working with Robyn and her team. From our initial meeting, we were blown away by Robyn's style, professionalism, and perspective on photography (and locations) for our wedding and engagement shoots. Where do I even begin?! Within the first few minutes of meeting with Robyn at her studio, we knew we had found our photographer! We were so excited to work with her. Robyn was there throughout the entire wedding process. She offered sound advice and always had a backup plan. Robyn has this way of making everyone feel comfortable. She is definitely the type of person you want to be surrounded by on your wedding day.

Robyn made the entire experience extremely personal and customized everything to meet my needs. She was very responsive and always got back to me within one business day, and even went to the extent of communicating her travel schedule so I wouldn't be worried if she didn't respond right away while she was gone. Robyn made me feel like she genuinely cared about my wedding like a friend would and I completely trusted her to capture all the moments and people I wanted to remember from that day. I never had to worry about my photography. I knew everything would not only be fine, but it would be exactly what I wanted. She is so extremely thoughtful and personalized every aspect of the experience, including remembering my favorite cookies from a suburban bakery and having a plate of them at my viewing. Robyn accommodated my needs while I made my book and was extremely patient with me through months of indecisiveness. My only issue was I had too many great photos. I have recommended her to friends and will continue to do so.

From the first time I saw Robyn's pictures, I knew I had to have her capture our big day! Right from the beginning, she seamlessly blended our personality with her high fashion style! Robyn's easy personality immediately put us both at ease in front of the camera. She is incredibly professional and kind -- she always made us feel like friends first! Robyn is incredibly knowledgable of every aspect of wedding photography. She scouted every location prior to our shoots and worked around the church's requests. She listened to what pictures were important to us and our families and always had ideas for us!

Our wedding day was the best day of our lives’ and thankfully we had the best photographer in the City of Chicago there to capture every awesome moment. Before I go on I wanna say explicitly, we love Robyn Rachel and Robyn Rachel Photography! From the moment my wife and I sat down for our introductory meeting, we knew we found our wedding photographer. She is so friendly, patient, kind, thoughtful, professional, talented…the list goes on and on. Fast forward a few months to our engagement photo session. I was against the idea, but Robyn made us feel so comfortable and was so knowledgeable about what we wanted, we had a blast and were so happy with the results. Now to the big day, the rain and the cold were no match for Robyn and her team. The pictures are flawless, they bring tears to my eyes when I look back at them. Throughout the day she was so patient with us and our obnoxious wedding party of 24 people. She orchestrates the day and the pictures with a masterful touch. We moved from place to place and everywhere we went Robyn had a plan on the spot, she adapts on the fly, and you will see the results when she sends out the photos. Lastly, and most importantly to us, she is a pleasure to be around. She is kind, fun, goes with the flow, is patient, and extremely talented. She makes the day all about you and your wedding and she compliments the event perfectly. Plus her follow up afterwards is excellent and she has great deals for buying pictures. We are so thankful to have had her there and would recommend her to anyone looking for the best wedding photographer in Chicago and beyond.

Robyn not only is an amazing photographer with a keen eye, but she's a wonderful person; and that is just as important when it comes to wedding photography. She is so kind and personable, that she effortlessly directs you to make you look your best; even if you are not accustomed to being photographed, or even if you're intimidated by it. All of these qualities are what really set Robyn apart, and enable her to work very efficiently which lets you really be immersed in your wedding day, and not worry that the photography will take all of your attention. She was equally confident and accommodating with large family and wedding party situations, as she was with just the two of us in more intimate settings, which made the whole day a breeze for us and for all of our family and friends. All of that plus a seriously great eye for photos (those speak for themselves). Not once during the day was the photography on our minds - we knew that it was in great hands, and we have the photos and experience to prove that.

Everyone says your wedding is a dream come true, and my wedding was that with pictures that show it for many years to come. I was impressed with Robyn from day 1 and on the day of my wedding she delivered the best service I could ever imagine as a bride. She thought through our venue and day to make sure we captured every moment beautifully and not by doing the standard "bridal" poses. Her creativity is beyond her peers and it shows in her work. Yes, Robyn will pose you but it is a pose that turns into a picture that could be in a magazine! We had numerous people tell us our photos belonged in magazines and were some of the best pictures they have ever seen. I fell in love with all of them and I still catch myself going through the album trying to pick my favorites. I know there are many photographers out there, but if you want pictures that are classic and beautiful then Robyn is your photographer.

We hired Robyn Rachel Photography to shoot our wedding and reception this past winter, enjoyed working with them, and loved the results. Our engagement photos were natural, refreshingly casual and the city’s intimate locations were ideal for creating our announcement. From the very beginning of the wedding day, Robyn efficiently managed the wedding party to keep us on time and from freezing (February in Chicago is not warm) while taking some gorgeous group shots. She was able to capture the opulence of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church while focusing on the enchantment of the ceremony taking place inside. During the reception, Robyn and her staff were barely noticeable and did not serve to interrupt anyone's enjoyment while they captured every special magical moment.

The resulting photos were spectacular and radiated with true love and happiness. Robyn and her staff were able to capture impromptu occasions and made everyone look great in photos which all could very well be published in a Bridal magazine. Robyn's studio offered a wide range of package options to fit our wedding's budget. Robyn helped us select the right one for our vision and the photos were stunning and plentiful.

It is with our pleasure to recommend Robyn Rachel Photography. We will certainly use for our next event that warrants a photographer.

Robyn was born to be an incredible photographer. She brings a fresh approach to wedding photography. Her ability to capture the raw emotion and tell a story through the photos and the surrounding atmosphere is incredible. She is so sweet, does her homework, and sincerely cares that she gets all the photos you need or think you will need from first look, to family members to the smallest details of the invites - something you can only hope your photographer will accomplish on your wedding day.

A side note worth mentioning… The day before our wedding Robyn scouted out each location where we were to do our photos. She discovered that one of our locations was under construction. Because she did this and contacted me ASAP, we were able to modify the plans in advance and avoid a major problem on our day!

Everything was perfect. We had so much fun working with Robyn on our wedding day and throughout the whole planning process. We just got our wedding album which turned out even more beautiful than we anticipated! The photos are ah-mazing and the book itself is beautifully designed and printed. We feel like we are re-living each moment of our day every time we look at those photos. We were very lucky to work with Robyn for our special day!!

Robyn photographed our wedding and we were so happy with the overall experience. We had quite a large wedding and Robyn & team were able to capture every special moment from early afternoon and into the late night hours.

Everything from photography style and layouts - we were able to work side-by-side with Robyn every step of the way. Not only was she extremely flexible, but collaborating with her was an absolute pleasure - she provided fantastic insight and recommendations and was also open to our thoughts as well. I sought Robyn's wedding photography services about 9 months before our big day @ Waldorf Chicago 2014. Seeking very specific photojournalism and natural captures, I detailed my needs and Robyn promptly responded with a custom package, including an engagement photography session and competitive pricing. She also understood the many other services needed for wedding planning and offered a list of reputable local vendors, she'd successfully worked with and recommended. I contracted Robyn for the photography + her DJ recommendation. Robyn was flexible in suggesting locations for the engagement session shoot and allowed a few Chicago locations of our choosing. When elected Chicago's Union Station and our proposal spot in Lincoln Park, North Pond. Robyn assisted us with obtaining the required permits for Union Station and we were all set to shoot, both indoor and outdoor. Except for the torrential rain the hours of the shoots, which significantly limited our outdoor options Robyn projected this, and artistically created decorative umbrellas in our wedding color, magenta. Stunning photos! Within a few days, we not only had a facebook "Sneak Peak" of the engagement session, we had a private online portal of the images and a disc of all the raw footage in our mailbox. What great service + one less thing to be worried about on the big day. Robyn had proven to be a professional and a reliable artist. Post our wedding, of course, the sneak peak of our wedding photos illustrate moments I had almost forgotten, in their seemingly original and natural state. There surely were edits, but Robyn specializes in the perfection of true photography capture, not heavily reliant on post artist editing software. Speaking directly from my tenure owning and operating a photography firm of 15 artists, this focus is rare these days and uber appreciated, acknowledging Robyn's experience and passion for real photography, what every bride really wants on her wedding day.

If you are looking for someone to capture your special day, Robyn Rachel Photography will be the perfect fit. Robyn and Nathalie were able to piece together all the important people in our lives and little details to portray our wedding story through gorgeous photography!

From the moment we reached out to inquire more about her wedding photography, she welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we were long-time friends. She was there to walk us through every step of the process, and was even there to calm some of my pre wedding jitters! One touch that we particularly liked was our engagement session with Robyn in Chicago. This wonderful experience provided us with the opportunity to really get to know how personable and talented she really is!

Although Robyn does a lot of city weddings, she was very excited to shoot our wedding in rural Galena, as were we. The photos she captured went beyond our wildest dreams and have left us with hundreds of memories that will last us a lifetime.

LOVE ROBYN! I felt like I had searched the universe for a photographer for our wedding when I stumbled across Robyn's work on Style Me Pretty - I was instantly captivated by all her photos and knew she was our girl. I can't say enough about how positive of an experience it was working with Robyn and her team - it was quite easily the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. We live out of state and were unable to make it in for an engagement shoot, but after one meeting with Robyn we were fully confident in our relationship and trusted her for our big day. She is beyond accommodating to all of your photo needs and is sure to hit everything on your wish list. You won't find yourself taking a ton of posed photos if you don't want them and her patience putting up with our 20-person bridal party was beyond incredible! Let me first say that I have been a part of many weddings....only one of which was my own. I have never had a photography session, including people wanting to snap a quick photo with their iphones, that was as painless as our pre- and post-wedding photos with Robyn. Robyn first did my husband and my engagement photos in Los Angeles. They turned out so amazing (beautiful and not cheesy) and we received so many compliments that I knew I had to have her do my wedding photos. And again, she did not disappoint! On the day of my wedding, she promptly arrived at the winery before me to take pictures of my dress, accessories, and the scenery. The photos of my husband and I, the wedding party, the ceremony, and the reception perfectly captured the memories of the day. And her care-free attitude made the whole experience a pleasant one, which it should be. I highly recommend Robyn, you will not be disappointed!

I can't say enough about the amazing-ness that is Robyn Rachel. My husband and I had a clear aesthetic about what sort of wedding pics we wanted. We were going for an editorial look, and my goodness did Robyn nail it. She is full of energy and literally put herself in danger NUMEROUS times to get "that shot" that is only in the mind of Robyn Rachel...and then you see the photo and you're so totally blown away. Moreover, my husband and I had our wedding in the dead of winter. It was freezing cold outside and Robyn nevertheless traipsed through the city with us, never once complaining, taking photo after amazing photo. I really can't say enough about Robyn. She worked with us in every way possible, she was extremely professional and sweet, and the pictures were more than a bride could ever expect. She is worth every cent and then some.

I know this review is nothing but good news, so I feel like I should add that I did not know Robyn before hiring her. I found her through stalking a photo of hers I found on Pinterest, and it was the best decision I ever made. I want to get married all over again just so we can hire Robyn again! Hiring Robyn will be the best wedding decision you make, next to marrying your spouse. Have fun!

In addition to capturing gorgeous photos, Robyn is WONDERFUL to work with and she is so much fun! Our family and everyone in our wedding party all raved about how much they appreciated Robyn's easy going, calm disposition. She is patient, not pushy, yet she manages to capture all of the photos we requested and more!

Robyn really takes the extra time to understand the bride and groom's expectations and makes sure to accommodate every special request. She also goes the "extra mile" to preview your venue and the photo locations in advance of your wedding so that on the big day, Robyn already has a clear vision of the best backdrops, lighting arrangements, and settings so that the whole day is enjoyable, relaxed, and most importantly--the photos are flawless!

We are so grateful that every moment throughout the evening was snapped, yet Robyn was rarely seen. Striking that balance is an art and we so appreciate all of her effort and hard work to make our photo memories so beautiful!

Robyn's involvement doesn't stop just because the wedding is over. We never could have created our gorgeous album without Robyn's guidance! She assisted us in selecting the best images and created a mock layout that told the story of our wedding day as the events unfolded.

Robyn was one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with. Not only is she a great easy going talented person, but she captured our wedding perfectly. She asked us what our style was and what we were looking for and what locations we wanted to take pictures at. She then would take charge and direct us as to where to pose and how and made sure to get as much variety of shots as she could. She even went as far as to help teach us how to cut our own wedding cake! I would 100% recommend Robyn, fantastic experience all around and we love our photos!

What can I say. From start to finish Robyn was a joy to work with. She had wonderful ideas and was open to whatever we wanted and made it work! She has a wonderful personality and was fun to be with for the day. The pictures were even more beautiful than we imagined. Choosing Robyn Rachel Photography for our wedding last fall was one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process! Robyn shot both an engagement session and our wedding and all of the photos are stunning. Our wedding portraits are spectacular, with each one being better than the next.

I happened to come across Robyn's work on Style Me Pretty and knew that I wanted to meet with her in person because her photos were beautiful and photography was a top priority for us. I felt that I instantly clicked with her personally when we met and my husband felt the same way. She was also great in designing a photography package that gave us exactly what we wanted. Considering your photographer is with you for the entire day, you want someone who is fun, professional, flexible, and has the ability to keep you calm. Not to mention has the ability to coordinate a lot of people, as our wedding party was pretty big. Robyn is was all of those things, and more! She has a wonderful eye and as a result, we have two sets of photos (both our engagement and wedding) that we'll always treasure and love to look at.

Robyn is fabulous to work with and you will be thrilled with your engagement and wedding photos if she is your wedding photographer. I would recommend her to every bride and I hope to have the chance to work with her again in the future.

I worked with Robyn Rachel Photography for both my wedding and my bridal shower. I was having a really hard time finding a photographer, and a friend gave my Robyn's contact information. I immediately fell in love with her work. I saw tons of photos on her website that were exactly the kind of photos I wanted of my wedding. So I made an appointment for a consultation, and Robyn totally impressed us! Her studio is gorgeous, conveniently located with easy parking, she has tons of large photos and sample albums, and of course, the most important part, she has a great personality! Robyn and I saw eye to eye on the style of photography that we wanted, she was always available when I contacted her, she researched photo locations and gave us great ideas, worked with us on pricing, and the list goes on. Since the wedding, Robyn and I have kept in touch - she even sent my new husband & I a "thank you" gift for our business around Christmas time, which was the so nice and thoughtful! I have developed a relationship with Robyn, and hope to continue working with her for events in the future.

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Robyn Rachel Photography. I knew she was incredible the moment I saw her work, but it wasn’t until she met my husband for the first time when I truly knew that she was perfect. The first time my husband met her was when we took our engagement photos. He was not looking forward to our photo shoot because he is not the type that likes to stand around and take pictures for hours (let alone 5 minutes). Once he met Robyn and we started taking pictures, he was so relaxed and pleased to be there taking pictures in Lincoln Park. He didn’t even notice that we took pictures for two hours and took over 500 pictures! Thanks to Robyn’s charismatic personality, my husband was stress free when taking pictures for the wedding.

Robyn is so talented and any bride who has the chance of working with her is truly the luckiest bride in Chicago. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Robyn shot our engagement session and wedding- we could not be happier with the results. She was such a pleasure to work with- so professional and so much fun! She captured our day beautifully. I decided to get married in the winter and do my pictures in the late afternoon- I knew this would be a challenge but I really trusted robyn! The pictures are absolutely stunning! I have beefier seen anything like them. Everyone who has seen them said they are the most beautiful pictures they have ever seen. Robyn has a great eye and she takes different photos (not the typical boring group shots ect.). I had seen her work on style me pretty and knew I had to hire her! I'm pretty picky and being in 8 or so weddings I knew what I wanted and Robyn was it! The whole day is such a blur that at the end of the day, all you have is the memories and the pictures!! When we met Robyn, her genuine excitement for us and for our wedding was so evident. She's the kind of person you meet and automatically feel like you've known forever. She was amazing every step of the way. After we had so much fun taking our engagement pictures and saw the beautiful shots that Robyn captured, we knew we had made the right choice. I also ended up doing a boudoir photo session (eek!), which I never would have had the guts to do if Robyn wasn't taking the pictures! One of my girlfriends from work also had a wedding coming up and we had so much fun together drinking champagne, getting our hair and makeup done (all set-up by Robyn) and then putting our bachelorette gifts to good use! The pictures turned out so tasteful, definitely something I was excited to give to my guy! And then came the wedding ... Robyn was the perfect combination of fun and professional. (Make sure you pick a photographer that you love their personality as much as their work - they're with you and your bridal party the WHOLE day!) She kept my crazy bridal party in line so that we she could get the shots she knew we'd want and did it in a way that made sure everyone was having a good time. She knew the best spots in town to get amazing shots and added the cutest touches. And all the while we were having a good time smiling and posing we had no idea she was capturing treasured moments and candid shots. When we got the proofs back (which she got back to us so fast!!) we were amazed at what the images actually looked like. The depth and the textures of the places we were looked unbelievable through Robyn's lens, it's going to be so hard to narrow down the pictures for our album! We were so lucky to have Robyn with us throughout all of our wedding planning and look forward to having her by our side for all our milestones ahead!

Robyn was absolutely FABULOUS to work with! She was extremely collaborative and easy to work with throughout the whole process. She customized a package for us to ensure we got everything we wanted while staying on budget, which I really appreciated. When it came to our engagement shoot, she really went above and beyond. We had a bit of a a difficult request - to capture shots of the two of us on a vintage boat on the Chicago River - and she welcomed the challenge. My sister got married in Chicago a year before me and used Robyn Rachel Photography. When it was time for my own wedding, I found that I was comparing everyone to Robyn. I finally decided to fly her out to Seattle for my own wedding, and it was well worth it. Her pictures are amazing, and the colors are incredibly vibrant. We had the BEST photographer at our wedding. Robyn was amazing from our first meeting to even months after our wedding. She was professional, personalble, very flexible and listened to all our wants and needs. She understands how important these pictures are to a couple and doesn't just take pictures for her own benefit like some photographers. Her style is unique from many other photographers. She is amazing at capturing those intimate moments that every bride and groom want on their wedding day. She knew exactly how to pose us and would even fix my hair if it was out of place (which I loved!!). She made us feel comfortable and calm. I couldn't be happier with both our engagement and wedding photos. She captured all the details of our wedding day like I requested without a problem. She took so many amazing shots, I am still having a hard time choosing pictures for our album. All our guests were thrilled as well because she took some formal shots and pictures of them dancing. Also for couples that have a big wedding party, she knows how to take control and position everyone quickly but precisely. Overall it was a blast shooting with Robyn. She kept us all laughing and made the day flow so well. One of the best parts about our experience was how quickly we got to view our pictures. As soon as we got back from our honeymoon (2 weeks), Robyn had us over to her studio for a viewing party with our parents! It was a great afternoon! I would recommend Robyn to anyone that wants modern but classic pictures. I can't wait for her to take our baby pictures...in a few years!

Robyn was absolutely amazing to work with. She was extremely accommodating and personable. My husband and I are both "camera shy" but she made us instantly feel comfortable.

The quality of the pictures were amazing. I particularly loved the candid photos. She is very artistic, thinking outside the box and providing you with very creative photos (not your every day boring wedding photos that we are all accustomed to). The album she put together for us was absolutely stunning - it told the story of our wedding day perfectly.

Robyn was professional, on-time, supportive, kind, and our wedding pictures were phenomenal! My father and aunt have both worked professionally in the photography and movie industry. They said her work was top quality and were completely impressed. At the ceremony, Robyn brought two assistants to help and they were never in the way. I barely noticed they were there. Robyn took the photos for my daughter's February, 2011 wedding along with her engagement pictures. What can I say but fabulous, extraordinary, perfect reminders of a very special day! The photographs she took should be on the front of the top wedding magazine covers! She did such a spectacular job, she will be photographing my other daughter's wedding in Aruba in September and did my friend's daughters wedding in Mexico in June. Both of my daughters would not even consider another photographer after seeing Robyn's creative work and being exposed to her warm and receptive personality. For anyone who is looking for wedding photography that honestly and artistically captures the special moments of your wedding day I highly suggest Robyn Rachel Photography. Not only were Robyn's photos amazing, she posted all of my photos to her website in less than three weeks following our March 2011 wedding. She also provided a proof of the album within three weeks of the date I provided my list of top photos. In addition to focusing on the bride and groom, she also captured photos of important family and friends. I was very impressed that she made the effort to make those connections. I rarely noticed her presence during any portion of my wedding day even though all the important moments were captured. Also, her fees are much more reasonable than any other photographers I interviewed. She doesn't have complex packages that force you to purchase services, photos or other extras that are not necessary.

I met Robyn through a wedding that she was the photographer for and I was the Maid of Honor. After working with Robyn and seeing her work on my friend's wedding I knew that I had to book her for my own wedding!

At our initial meeting Robyn made me feel so comfortable and I was without a doubt confidant in my choice to work with her. Her packages are very reasonable priced and she was very flexible in making sure that we got exactly the package that fit our needs. Robyn was very responsive and professional through the whole process answering any questions that I had.

I loved the engagement session that she did with us. It definitely helped break the ice and made my fiance and I feel more comfortable in from of the camera. We were amazed with the pictures that she took and were so excited for the wedding photos as well.

When it came to the wedding itself, Robyn really knew how to make things run smoothly...even with a 14 person wedding party...! On our wedding day there happened to be a ridiculous amount of traffic (as it was a Friday in Chicago), and due to the lack of time before the sun would set we were unable to make it to our outdoor picture destination. I was a frantic bride but Robyn reassured me that we would make it work. She suggested that we pull off on a side road and we ended up finding the cutest rustic looking barn. As it was a fall wedding there was also a beautiful setting of autumn colored trees in the background. Our pictures turned out more amazing than I could have imagined! Robyn never hesitated and even though I thought I'd get no pictures, she was able to take hundreds of shots in a short amount of time and they all turned out wonderful!

We have gotten hundreds of compliments on our photos (both engagement and wedding). And I was very impressed that we were able to see the proofs within a few short weeks of the wedding! I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Robyn for anyone's photography needs. Thanks Robyn for giving us such great photos that we can remember our special day for years to come!

Robyn Rachael is such a wonderful photographer to work with. Honestly, my husband and I still talk about how we could not have made a better choice for our wedding. From the day we met Robyn, we both fell in love with her unique style, class, professionalism, and personality. In fact, we offered her the job right on the spot at our first meeting because she was the first photographer we both felt like understood what we were looking for.

Photography was very important to me when planning the wedding because the pictures can tell the story of the day. I can't tell you how Robyn not only captured this perfectly, but she went above and beyond either of our expectations. When my husband and I looked at the picture slideshow of the wedding for the first time after our wedding, we both couldn't believe how many amazing shots there were. We laughed, cried and then watched it a few more times :)

On the wedding day Robyn was amazing to work with. With a wedding party of 20+ we were a little concerned, but it ended up being a great experience and we got so many great pics.

We recently just got our wedding album and the canvas of one of our favorite pictures from the wedding. They all turned out great, very modern and classy which is the mix we were going for. Robyn Rachel possesses the passion, understanding, the quality in product and service a couple desires when hiring their wedding photographer. We decided to have a destination wedding, which required more than the average planning and photography was a huge part of the decision making process. Robyn was the one photographer that had everything we were looking for...unique talent, great attitude, likes adventure (hello destination wedding), a keen sense of what the clients want and flexible pricing. She was able capture who we really are while creating a fun experience at the same time. The images are truly breathtaking and we can't stop looking through them! They're gorgeous!

Our engagement session was a great ice-breaker. It gave us the chance to learn about each other and once we saw the photos, we knew Robyn had a clear idea of who we were, giving the images an intimate touch.

Additionally, I hired Robyn for a boudoir shoot and, ladies, if you ever want to WOW your new husband, give him a sexy wedding gift he can't stop staring at. And have Robyn Rachel shoot it! My budoir shoot was not only comfortable, fun and had me feeling(and looking) like a model, but Robyn also added a sleek, modern twist on classic, sexy shots. I couldn't believe my eyes! As if Robyn hadn't captured enough of us through our engagement shoot, boudoir shoot, and documenting our wedding, we wanted her perspective on another aspect of our wedding experience...the Encore Session. We had a day after our wedding in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico with Robyn's creative, keen eye. The images are bright, crisp, textured, flirty, fun, sexy, and unique. The is a moment my husband and I will always cherish and we look at our photos and are blown away with Robyn's perspective. Again, she outdid herself! Oh, and did I mention we were able to view them only 2 weeks after the wedding? Pretty impressive!

Along with Robyn's energy for her photography and attentive client focus, she is extremely precise and knowlegable about what her work. The vivid colors are exactly what she sees and THAT is true talent! Anyone can pick up a camera and click a button, but someone who can truly capture what is seen though the lens has a remarkable skill. Mostly, Robyn cares about her clients. We felt we not only got the best photos we could have wanted, but we made a true connection with someone who we'll know forever. She went above and beyond for us and we look forward to Robyn documenting more special moments in our lives.

Robyn shot engagement shots, the wedding and an encore session with/for my wife and I.

Where do I start with why I would recommend Robyn for your photography needs? For the sake of time, I will elaborate on the following 3 reasons: personality, intuition, skill.

PERSONALITY: Robyn creates a welcoming experience where it's OK(safe) to let your true self shine through. She does this by paying close attention to the minute details of her subjects and capitalizing on what is reinforcing to them while all but eliminating their fears and concerns. She is able to somehow draw on the intricacies of what makes a relationship special to the couple and then coach them to exude this in ways that are profound, familiar and yet completely new at the same time. Her artistic interpretation of us was spot on as her intuition enabled precise insights!

INTUITION: My wife is an artist/photographer/designer and I have always had a passion for art as well. This being said, we had some very specific ideas in mind when we first approached Robyn. In the end, not only did she precisely deliver what we were looking for, but she elaborated upon them in ways that still have us and our family/friends in awe. Her interpretation of us and our experiance, based on our (many) requests and her intuition helped enable outcomes/shots that are 100% "us" but 100% her!

SKILL: Robyn's skills are in her eye for the perfect setting, lighting, colors, texture an beyond. In short: while I have no doubt she is a wonderful editor, her shooting skills surpass 99% of anything that we have seen (and we interviewed close to 10 photographers from around the world for our destination wedding in Puerto Rico).

Robyn did my wedding in May of 2009. She was everything I'd hoped for and more! Her professionalism was amazing and her artistic style blew my mind. I gave her the full artistic go ahead as I didn't have anything specific in mind for the type of photos I wanted. On the way to the wedding she noticed an old barn and asked me if it was something I liked. I instantly fell in love with the idea and her pictures of us turned out better than I could have ever hoped for! She also went above and beyond her call of duty and photographed into the night, even capturing the small flower girls as they fell asleep under the tables!! Thank you so much Robyn. We were so thrilled to have found Robyn Rachel Photography for our October 2010 wedding. There are so many options in Chicago that it is very hard to narrow it down. We knew we wanted a very personalized experience and did not want to work with one of the large photography companies. After meeting with Robyn, we knew she was the photographer we wanted to work with. Robyn has a great photographic style and helps you get out of your comfort zone to capture great photos. We did an engagement session a couple of months before the wedding and loved the photos so much that we decided to use them as the wedding guest sign-in book. Our guests loved the book and we now have a cherished photo album full of pictures AND congratulatory messages from our guests. Robyn was so easy and flexible to work with on the wedding day. We have BEAUTIFUL wedding day photos that truly tell the story of the day.

Robyn photographed our October 10th wedding and we couldn't be happier with the final product! From start to finish, Robyn acted as a helping hand throughout the process and worked with us to ensure all of our favorite moments would be captured. We first worked together at our engagement shoot and she immediately put our nerves at ease, it was like working with a friend!

Robyn had great suggestions for our photo shoot that worked well logistically with our ceremony and reception locations- and accommodated our large bridal party! With Chicago weather always being somewhat of a gamble, we had both outdoor/indoor locations picked just in case of the weather- luckily for us we had a beautiful sunny day. Each of the spots truly complemented the overall aesthetic of our wedding. I really appreciated the wide array of shots and angles to choose from among the posed pictures and Robyn's knack for capturing candid moments. With so many pictures to choose from, it was hard to pick our favorites!
