Can’t go wrong with Robin!
Robin and her associate Katie did an amazing job on my wedding day for 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself.
In all honesty, after my trial I was a little nervous, I didn’t love it. And I had to remind her a couple times to update our contract. However!!!!!
Robin blew my worries away with her communication and care on wedding day. She takes feedback seriously, she is kind, and she uses damn good makeup! And she’s open when you want to use things of your own too! I felt so pretty and the compliments I received all night reinforced that I made the right decision hiring Robin.
She also saved me a bit of money by recommending we go down to 2 stylists from the original 3 when my MIL and stepmom decided they didn’t want to get their hair and make up done. Then on wedding day, Robin helped touch up my stepmoms makeup after she regretted not getting it done.

Robin was amazing for the wedding!! We did a test makeup a few days in advance and she was able to take my recommendations and made me look amazing! My husband loved my natural looking makeup and he usually prefers me without anything at all, so the fact Robin and her team made me look as natural as possible made me feel really comfortable and pretty! For reference on the amount we had 10 people to get hair and makeup done and 2 additional individuals helping Robin. -

Robin did an amazing job at my wedding in Salida, CO! She did hair and makeup for 7 ladies and all of them were really happy with the results. She is friendly, laid back, and completed everyone’s look on time. I didn’t have time for a bridal trial, but Robin listened carefully to what I wanted and it turned out beautifully! She also did an amazing flower arrangement in my hair! -

Robin was an absolute delight to work with. She did hair and makeup for my daughters (the bride and MOH), and me She opened her home to us in the morning and later followed us to the venue to finish. She listens to what you want, makes adjustments if necessary and stays until you are happy. When my other daughter gets married, I will definitely be calling Robin again. I recommend her with no hesitation! -

Robin is absolutely amazing! I couldn't have been happier with how my makeup turned out for my wedding last year. She is truly a master at what she does. She remains cool, calm and collected in all situations and is super easy to work with. She is also very communicative, accommodating, punctual and friendly! I highly recommend Robin to anyone. Robin has helped me on two occasions. Once for a photo shoot and the other a social event.
She was punctual, professional , polite while making me look and feel amazing. Not only did she make me feel super comfortable at our first meeting she also came with me to the photo shoot as support. I couldn’t have asked for a better artist. -

Definitely Someone You Want On Wedding Day
Robin did the makeup for my little sister's wedding. On the day of the wedding, her sweet disposition was calming when everyone was starting to get nervous about the ceremony. After the trial, my sister was a little unsure about the makeup and Robin was quick to offer solutions until they got it right! She's easy to talk to and fun to be around-- definitely someone you want as you're getting ready for the big day! She was also a great listener. -

I’ve worked with, and hired personally, many HMU artists over the years. I’ve never had someone that could nail a look so perfectly like Robin! She’s super sweet and lovely to work with. She nails both simple natural looks as well as more complicated and dramatic ones. She’s just the best!! -

Cassie Sent on 10/11/2018I hired Robin to do my makeup for my wedding in September of 2018. First, Robin is a really cool person to talk to. She listens to your requests, ideas and helps you achieve the makeup look you really want. We did a practice session that went well, and on the wedding day she showed up at the venue early!
Robin also helped me out of a serious jam when the hairstylist I hired from Hothead Studios didn't show up! Robin helped my friend fix my hair up for the wedding day, and everything turned out beautiful. I'm thrilled I hired Robin Golightly as my makeup artist for my wedding! She is very skilled and professional, I recommend her to anyone who asks me. -

She let me come back for a second trial. She is kind and conveys a calm spirit on a busy wedding day. The makeup was everything I wanted which was also an adjustment from our trial. She listened to what I wanted and together with her talent made for a very good outcome!

Robin gave everyone the perfect makeup they wanted and made me feel absolutely stunning on my day. Besides being professional and talented, she is also very kind and friendly. She was incredibly easy to work with and gave me exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend her!!

Brides Beware – Makeup (Scam) Artist
I booked Robin Golightly (Instagram: @elevationshmua) for my wedding after finding her on a local COS bridal Facebook page, and I signed a contract to book her for makeup services back in February. She was good about keeping in touch the months leading up to my wedding, we had a great trial run, and I paid her in full a few weeks before.
Then, on the day of my wedding — she didn’t show up.
No call, no text, no warning. I reached out 17 times that morning, desperate and panicking as the clock ticked closer to the ceremony. Hours later, she finally messaged saying she was “sick in bed all day.” Fast-forward and excuse after excuse ; but STILL NO REFUND.
So after doing a little digging and blowing this lady up on various sites, I’ve found that she has been scamming dozens if not, HUNDREDS of other brides IN THE EXACT SAME WAY. Booked Robin Golightly, paid her in full, and then she either ghosted them or bailed last minute with an excuse — and then disappeared with their money. Some of these stories go back years. One content creator even posted a TikTok specifically calling her out for these same scams.
I will continue calling this individual out for exactly what she is. A thief.
Someonewho preys on scamming individuals during the most important day of their life, and it is absolutely astounding that she has flown under the radar for so long.

I’m sharing these texts to show everyone exactly what Robin Golightly does and I welcome anyone else who has been scammed by her to come forward. She may have taken her Facebook profile down, but but that is not going to stop me for warning others. Robin Golightly has scammed the wrong person this time! -

GHOSTED is about all you’ll get from this unprofessional scam artist. She took payment and then backed out with not one, but two completely different excuses — first it was ‘diarrhea,’ then suddenly the event was ‘put in her calendar wrong.’ Really? Thankfully, the bridesmaids stepped up and saved the day.
It’s absolutely unacceptable to take someone's money, promise to be there for one of the most important days of their life, and then bail with flimsy excuses — no refund, no accountability. This isn’t just bad business, it’s unethical. If you won’t make it right, I guess you’ll be explaining it in small claims court.

CAUTION: DO NOT BOOK. This business is a scam and Robin is a criminal. She is a repeat thief and has victimized multiple brides. I got married last year at a venue by Monument, CO. I booked Robin and 2 of her assistants to do the hair and make up for myself, my mother, and 6 of my bridesmaids. I met with her in person and had everything planned out. She required full payment upfront which I completed. The morning of my wedding, 30 minutes before the first service was booked, I received several text messages from Robin’s phone posing as her mother. She said Robin was not coming and gave us a horrific, disturbing story as an excuse, so much that were in tears out of sympathy for her. Come to find out-she had lied about the whole story. She had no backup person in place and her 2 assistants failed to show (which means they never planned on coming in the first place). My mother was already in the car on her way to Robin’s house for her appointment. I had to call her to turn around and she wasted an hour of my mom’s time on an already hectic morning. Instead of spending the morning of my wedding with my family and friends, we had to scramble around trying to find last minute services-which we did not find. We were not able to get hair and makeup done for the wedding, which was a big disappointment. We spent the morning running around buying supplies in an attempt to do our own looks. This added so much stress and chaos to the most important day of my life. We found out she lied about the entire situation. Robin stole the money and I am out several thousand dollars. For months I tried to get my money refunded and she refuses to pay it back. I have had to take legal and criminal action against her with the police. I am writing this review to caution any brides that have booked her services or are considering her as a hair/makeup artist. Robin not only stole money and lied, she ruined the morning of my wedding and caused so many issues for me and my family. After further research, I have found several other brides that have been victimized by her. This is not the first time she has done this. Not only does she commit fraud, she targets brides on their special day and ruins it. Please do not let this happen to you on your wedding day. -

Robin bailed on doing my hair and makeup 5 days before my wedding started. She told me initially that she had to have "urgent surgery." When she told me that, I felt bad for her. But then I noticed a review for Robin from another bride that had the same wedding day. I tracked down the other bride on social media and learned that Robin had shown up to do the other bride's hair and makeup during the same time period that she had scheduled to do my wedding. To Robin's credit, she did find a replacement, but I think she also lied to them, as they told me that they hadn't heard anything about the 50% up-front deposit that I had already paid to Robin. Additionally, I was never refunded for the trial that I did with Robin. Overall, very upset that I was lied to. Maybe Robin really did have "urgent surgery," but she also double-booked herself and showed up to the other wedding. I have documentation to back up all of this, including signed contracts for myself and the other bride that she booked on the same day during the same time period at locations that were several hours apart.
