Rob captured our wedding day so beautifully and with such ease. Half the time we didn’t even know he was there, allowing us to be fully present with one another and with our guests. During those times, he sneakily captured the raw emotions and natural beauty of our day. During posed photos, he provided the guidance needed, but ensured we were comfortable and never overly staged. Not only were we 110% pleased with the final gallery Rob provided, but we loved working with him from start to finish. From our first meeting through the big day, he was clear, thorough, & communicative; he was attentive & thoughtful; and overall a genuinely good guy. He went above and beyond for us… He stayed past the allotted time without charging extra. He was flexible through all of the covid changes. He gave us a gift on our wedding day. He mingled with our friends & family. And providing the personalized USB with all of the photos is such a nice touch! When I look back on mine and my husbands wedding day, our photographs are what we have to physically look back on, and we can’t thank Rob enough for giving us exactly what we wanted. We are able to look at every special moment of that day in pictures, they all turned out amazing. The engagement photos are the same too. Working with Rob and his assistant Morgan was fun and easy going. Both of them listened and gave us what we asked for. He helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and gave us suggestions and directions when needed. If you’re looking for a photographer than look no further. Rob was amazing to work with. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Rob on our engagement shoot and wedding photos. He was great and coaching us with poses. He went above and beyond for us when our camera wasn’t working on our wedding day. We originally reached out to Rob because based on his portfolio, he has a great eye for lighting and documentary style/candid photography. We chose to do our engagement shoot and wedding photos with him. We were certain we made the right choice after our engagement shoot! Not only is his work amazing, he was incredibly responsive, professional, and just really really easy to work with from the start.
My fiance and I were both quite nervous going into the engagement shoot, and my fiance is NOT one to like getting photos taken, but we instantly felt so comfortable with Rob and had such a fun time working with him! He is really great at setting up a pose to look like a natural interaction, which is exactly what we were looking for. (My mom looked at the pictures and said "Wow, he made you guys look like models!" LOL)
Both for our engagement shoot and wedding photos, Rob independently scouted the locations ahead of time, which really impressed us. It just shows his dedication!
Our wedding was May 30th - we're a few months out from it now and looking back, there's nothing we would change about working with Rob. Not only was it a super fun experience having him spend the day with us, but the quality of his work speaks for itself. He has been super responsive to all of our emails/questions and gave us a clear timeline for when to expect the photos back. It was also a really quick turnaround for us, which was awesome. From the beginning, Rob was responsive and easy to work with. He laid out everything so clearly and was genuinely interested in capturing the moments we wanted and candids throughout our whole day.

Amazing Wedding Photographer
Rob was our wedding photographer this past October and he was amazing. Both he and his second shooter (Asa, I think) were so energetic and excited but in a way that didn't feel cumbersome in any way.
Our pictures turned out beautiful. One of the reasons we chose Rob is because his photography style is timeless, yet still modern. A lot of photographers we looked at heavily edited photos and they all had a moody vibe, which is also beautiful, but we wanted something a little more classic.
One of my favorite things about working with Rob was how he would help direct us into poses and natural situations that made for beautiful candids. He'd even come over and mimic what he was going for to show an example and help us understand the shot. I don't love being photographed and I was nervous about hating how I looked in photos, but I love every single one. A huge part of that was Rob's direction and how comfortable he made us.
Rob and Asa were so dedicated to getting us beautiful shots. They were everywhere and nowhere all at the same time and became such a special part of our day.
(Not to mention, he had the best pricing packages out of everyone we looked at.)
100% would book again and highly recommend them for any wedding or photography needs you have!

Our Favorite Vendor of the Day! Exceeded our Expectations!
Rob was by far our favorite vendor on our wedding day. We used his 8-9 hour package with 2 shooters and opted to get to know him better with getting our engagement pictures with him. Rob is a truly refined photographer. He gives great cues along the way to make sure everyone looks good in the photos, avoids being over-posed, and captures all the special candid moments along the way. He helped us scout photo locations, even visiting the spot in advance and thinking about details such as how wet the grass might be, he helped me with my wedding day timeline, and he is super prompt with email responses and answering questions. I first met Rob when I was playing organ for another couple's wedding, and noticed Rob's respectful approach during the ceremony, his relaxed and professional style, the efficiency of his movements, and the courtesy with which he treated his second shooter. Having handled the music for many, many weddings, I've had the chance to experience many photographers and their styles, so I knew Rob would be a good choice. There isn't enough time or space to give Rob all the praise he deserves! First thing we did after our engagement was search for a venue and photographer. Rob was our first pick and we are so happy he was available. From the start Rob was very responsive especially during the pandemic. We lived in VA so trying to find a weekend where we could meet and do our engagement photos was tough. He gave us a few spots for us to pick from and as soon as we were ready he planned out everything, from where we were going to start, poses, and we even started to improvise. His pictures were amazing, he really kept us engaged, knew when to get our attention and when to let us be natural with each other. He captured all the right moments, the laughter, the love and the candid. He sent us all the photos leaving us to decide which ones we wanted which is more than we could have asked for.
Wedding day, Rob and his second were amazing. The pictures from the bridal suite with the girls getting ready were so much fun, and he caught all the fun pictures. During the ceremony, and the reception, Rob captured all aspects that made the venue and party so spectacular. It was a blast for us to relive moments, and experience moments for the first time through his pictures. Besides being a great photographer, he was such an amazing person to have on our special day. He kept the energy light and positive even in stressful moments. We were truly honored and grateful to get to know him and have him photograph our day!

Outstanding Wedding Photography
Having Rob as the photographer was probably the best decision we made for our wedding. He was so easy to work with and captured every part of the day beautifully. We had so many guests comment on how great he was throughout the day and night. The formal photos were just stunning and for people like us who feel a little awkward in front of a camera, he was really helpful with making everything feel relaxed while still guiding us to the right angles and positions. In a year where our wedding plans were constantly in flux, working with Rob was an easy decision. Rob's portfolio online speaks for itself, and we quickly realized that Rob is a kind and flexible business owner. Rob stuck with us through changed plans, and gave us the reassurance that if we had to reschedule and he had a conflict, we would just pay for our engagement session. For our engagement photos, Rob followed us around the city in the cold to four locations, spending over three hours. At our wedding, Rob was calm, organized, and efficient. My sister in law texted me to say that if I didn't write a review for Rob, she would. She has an eye disorder, and Rob made sure she was on the "right side," throughout the entire night. If you're planning a pandemic wedding, you can rest assured Rob's got *anything* 2021 throws your way covered, and you'll have incredible photos of your celebration at the end of it all.

Rob helped make our day perfect!
Rob was amazing. My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better photographer to so perfectly capture our very non-traditional wedding day! We had a spot picked out for our outdoor ceremony and some other loose ideas in mind, but Rob helped with more research and planning out our day. He was very accessible and made the whole process SO easy. My husband and I aren’t much for taking pictures—didn’t have any engagement photos or anything done, so Rob tailored to our personalities more and did mostly candid photos, but the posed photos didn’t feel awkward, weren’t excessive, and came out so beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend Rob for anyone needing anything from a laid back family portrait session to a full day of wedding photos.

Great experience
We loved working with Rob. He was able to accommodate all of our special requests and went above and beyond in asking the Eastman Museum (where we had our pictures) to let us use different rooms than we had originally anticipated using. He has a creative eye and the pictures came out amazing

Outstanding Photographer!
After our initial photographer very unprofessionally backed out, we found ourselves in a desperate search for a new one with about a month left. We were looking for someone who would work with us and for us, as our wedding was unusually small due to COVID (5 people plus us), we were only looking for a few hours of someone's time. I had a lot of responses in my initial frantic search. Sometimes, you just trust your gut and run with it! We could not have been more pleased. Rob was so responsive from the very first contact. He answered so many questions and never seemed put off by any of them. He continued to respond to questions after our digital files arrived and always did so in a timely manner. The day of our ceremony, he was personable, hard-working, patient and most of all FUN! We had some issues with the sun on the water and he waited patiently, never holding us hostage to his watch or the exact amount of time we had agreed to. Once our pictures arrived, my husband and I were literally brought to tears going through them and re-living our special day. He captured some amazing moments and even some of the "posed" pictures were playful without us having a clue that day. His talent is amazing, it speaks for itself. Talent is important. Talent isn't / shouldn't be all that matters in my opinion. Having someone who genuinely cares about you on your special day, spends time with you, asks repeatedly if there is any other pose you would like or anything 'he may have missed, that is all such a huge part of choosing a photographer. In normal times, this person may be with you all day long. You will not regret having Rob around or the pictures he takes. I cannot thank Rob enough for capturing our special day through the photos he took.

He is a passionate photographer who likes to show through his camera lens what our eyes cannot see.
When I started to shop around for a unique photographer with an eye for details, creativity and artistic pictures for my daughter’s wedding, I had in mind something very specific as I love to take professional pictures and my husband worked for Kodak.
After comparing prices, I selected Rob for the best quality and artistic picture at reasonable prices.
Rob immediately understood what we were looking for, unique and stylish wedding picture coverage which also reflect our roots from France.
Just before the covid started, Rob came to my house and offered different package options for the wedding.
During the covid pandemic we had a few meeting online to finalize arrangements for pictures taking at church as well as at the Georges Eastman House and during the venue at the Wilder room Rochester NY.
After seeing all pictures of Rob’s coverage of the wedding, he has been amazing.
Always there ready to take the best shot, every second looking for the little detail which will make the picture unique and different of a traditional one.
He is a passionate photographer who likes to show through his camera lens what our eyes cannot see.
This is why Rob was selected the best photographer in 2018- 2019- 2020 in Rochester NY and he truly deserves this distinction.
His work is outstanding and very creative. Every time I view the wedding pictures, they bring me back of the day of the wedding and invoke an emotional response.
An image that makes you feel something has succeeded.
Taking pictures during the covid pandemic with faces masks is not easy work for a photographer.
Yes, Rob is able to look at something ordinary, or even extraordinary, and find a million different ways to interpret what he’s seeing and convey those interpretations in beautiful and meaningful photos.

Best photographer ever!
Rob is everything my husband and I could have hoped for. After we hired Rob, our original wedding was delayed due to COVID and we decided to have an intimate ceremony instead. Rob worked with us every step of the way. He is communicative, friendly, his prices are reasonable and his photography is outstanding. We wanted a mix of candid and posed photos and he gave us a great mix of both. Every photo he gave us was fantastic, from the first look to the ceremony and the photos of our loved ones. I am so glad that we hired Rob over everyone else. He went above and beyond in every way and I cannot even believe the value we got when we hired him. He gave us formal photos that look classic, candid shots with my friends looking overjoyed, cool modern photos with smoke and moody lighting, and photos of our band jamming out! He even photoshopped my in laws next to us because they wanted to maintain social distancing. We could not stop talking about how great he was after our wedding. After the wedding, he set up a great online gallery that myself, my husband and my mother-in-law could access. He even gave us a custom engraved USB. I will cherish these photos forever.

Captures the moments
Rob has been such a pleasure to work with! He takes the time to listen to your style and vision and adapts to the personalities of everyone around you during your event. Rob creates natural poses by using his surrounding environment and resources. He guides and provides as much or as little support necessary in order to capture those intimate moments during your event.
Rob has been very accommodating, especially during the pandemic, where venues and guidelines were constantly being altered. He is willing to travel to multiple locations in order to capture those special moments. I would highly recommend Rob for any event!

Couldn't Be Happier!
We worked with Rob for our wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn. He was one of the first vendors we had decided on and he was always professional and responsive. He was helpful and insightful as we worked to pick photo locations around the city prior to our ceremony and provided great suggestions.
On the day off we needed to change some of our photo sites due to pouring rain. Rob didn’t miss a beat. He as able to come up beautiful and creative shots at the new location. His positive attitude and guidance during the shooting put us and the wedding party at ease. Throughout the day his passion for his work and commitment to us really showed through.
Rob was very quick to get us samples of the photos to post online and share with friends after the wedding! A short while later he had all the photos online for us to access; they were everything we hoped for and he was sure to hit all of the shots we really wanted. We could not be happier with our choice to use Rob as our photographer and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for gorgeous wedding photos!

Fantastic Experience
We used Rob & a second photographer, Morgan, for our wedding and we could not have been happier! He was incredibly responsive to our questions & very easy to work with. We also got both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures back in less than one month! He is very reasonably priced based on the market and his level professionalism & incredible work. We recommend Rob for any photography occasion!
We met Rob after winning a free engagement session at one of the Rochester Bridal Shows. Right away, we had an instant connection! Rob was honest, professional, flexible, and amazing to work with. He was willing to meet us an hour away from Rochester to shoot at a new location for our session. We were nervous at the beginning of the photoshoot but by the end, we felt more comfortable and relaxed thanks to Robs’ guidance! After our engagement session, we knew right away we wanted Rob to shoot our wedding day. He took the time to really get to know us and learn what was most important for us on the wedding day. He came early to the first location to get the getting ready photos. Then, he took photos at our ceremony location (many different beautiful angles of our ceremony). We then took photos at a park near our reception venue. Our wedding party was bigger than most, but he captured all our personalities and made the day more special. You can tell right away Rob loves what he does and is very knowledgeable. All of our engagement and wedding photos were spectacular; we receive compliments everyday of how beautiful the photos are! We recommend Rob for any photography occasion!

Couldn't have asked for a better photographer!
My husband and I were both very picky about what we wanted from our wedding photographer and we were very pleased with Rob and his work. I found his website from an online bridal site and immediately fell in love with the natural-looking style of his work. From day 1, Rob was professional and easy to work with. He had us fill out a questionnaire and spoke with us over the phone (as we live out of state) before the wedding to learn what our expectations were for the day. He listened to what we were looking for and made sure that was what he delivered. He captured so many big and small moments that beautifully show the joy felt by us and our guests during the whole day. His creativity also left us with many shots we love but never would have thought to get, including many beautiful candid shots. He was very relaxed and just captured the day as it unfolded. We are so impressed by how the photos make it seem like he managed to be everywhere to capture every detail of the ceremony and reception, but he was not the least bit intrusive. Overall, I am so happy that we made the choice to hire Rob for this important job and that we have so many beautiful photos to always remind us of our beautiful day!

Amazing Photographer & Fun to Work With!
My wife and I found Rob on the knot and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Rob took the time to meet with us and figure out who we were as a couple in order to best serve our needs as a photographer. He was very professional and responsive in coordinating meetings. He made us both feel comfortable for our engagement photos and at our wedding. For my wife and I, that was a big deal for us. He had us laughing the whole time, smiling, and joking around. We truly enjoyed our time taking photos and they came out looking great!
Lastly, I appreciated how flexible Rob was in dealing with our special day. He really makes it a point to let you know that he is there to support you and make sure your day goes as planned. Magical memories captured
If you want the true magic of your day captured, then you should hire Rob Hickey to be your wedding photographer. Not only is Rob exceptionally easygoing, he's also incredibly professional. He has a quick, artistic eye and knows how to get an incredible shot at every turn. Photography was a top priority for us, and Rob exceeded our expectations. His photojournalistic approach allows for many candid moments and had everyone at the wedding very relaxed in front of the camera. Our photos look timeless and sophisticated. Best of the Best
Rob is professional, attentive, fun, extremely talented, and worth every penny.
Rob was the second shooter at our wedding. It was clear that he has an incredible eye and can find the most beautiful backdrops in the most uncommon places. Because of that, we hired him to take pictures to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary.
We sent Rob some ideas ahead of time and he made all our requests come true while making my husband and I look natural. Despite only being a two-hour session, going to two locations, and doing a wardrobe change, we never felt rushed and he was constantly showing us previews on his camera so we left our session knowing we were getting exactly what we wanted.
My husband and I highly recommend Rob and we can't thank him enough for our beautiful pictures.

Amazing and creative photographer!
My wife and I are very happy that we went with Rob Hickey Photography. Rob came right to our house and brought several examples of his work for us to view. Rob will tell you that he will try to make it seem like he isn't there to capture more natural photos. He does just that! The photos were very natural and in the moment. Very few were staged during the reception, which really captured the joy and fun during the night. Rob is very skilled in various areas of photography and is always trying new things. Rob had some great ideas with sparklers, the sunset, and off-camera lighting. The creativeness really showed in our photos. Rob's prices were very reasonable and he also offered a wedding photography registry that we took advantage of, receiving gifts through this from our guests. Rob works with some great photographers so I highly recommend that you choose a package with two photographers.

Wonderful Experience!
When my search for a photographer started I was feeling overwhelmed with all of the different packages and price points everyone had to offer. I had to choose what I thought might fit our needs based on websites and reviews since we live out of state. I came across Rob's work and knew pretty quickly that his style fit exactly what we were looking for. Communication was easy as he was very quick to respond to emails and sent us a few full weddings to look through that he had done before we officially signed on with him. His attention to detail is amazing and he is very laid back and easy to work with. We are thrilled with how our photos turned out and highly recommend Rob for your big day!!

Incredible Experience!
Rob is the BEST. He was referred to me through someone I work with and I am so thankful to have been linked up with him. He is incredibly supportive and thorough throughout the entire planning process.
When we cancelled our engagement shoot due to poor weather, Rob worked with us to figure out an alternative. He ended up shooting our rehearsal dinner and the photos were amazing. I am so thankful that he was flexible and worked with our vision of the wedding weekend.
On the day of our wedding, Rob and his assistant James captured every shot I could've imagined wanting to see. We had a blast with them and they both made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera.

We cannot say enough great things about working with Rob for our wedding day! From day one, Rob was very quick to respond to email/phone calls. Being an out of town couple, he was able to work with us over the phone for all of our needs. Leading up to the day, we filled out a detailed questionnaire that covered things one could easily forget. The day of our wedding, Rob walked in, knew everyones name and knew exactly how to get us started with getting ready photos. His calm demeanor really gave me confidence that he was going to get all the shots we needed without missing any. The weather didn't cooperate on our wedding day, but Rob had some ideas using the decor of our venue to help get some great group shots. After receiving our photos online, my husband and I could not be more impressed with his style and eye for detail. Again, highly recommend!

Fantastic Photographer!
When my now-husband and I began to look into vendors, we talked about the things that were most important to us...and the photographer was at the top of the list. We wanted someone to capture the day and allow us to relive the experience with our future children years down the road. We connected with Rob through Classy Cat Entertainment as part of a whole wedding package and we couldn't have been happier with his work. Rob exceeded all our expectations and his pictures were worth every penny, I highly recommend him and would absolutely work with him again. Rob did our engagement pictures as well as our wedding day. He was professional, responsive, fun, and easy going throughout the whole process. We had a few issues pop up, but Rob was flexible, open, and able to improvise and reassess different pictures, poses and settings to make sure he got the best shots. Rob has a great eye for detail and it truly shows in his images. We also had a second shooter, Morgan, on the day of our wedding, which was extremely helpful. Morgan was friendly and easy to work with, she was able to capture a lot of the guests arriving and cocktail hour while Rob was with us and our wedding party. It was definitely a worthwhile investment to have two photographers. I also have to say, Rob's turn around time was fantastic. For both our engagement and wedding pictures, we only had to wait about 2 weeks to have access to the online gallery. The hard part now is deciding which pictures we want to print because there are so many that I love!

We loved working with Rob! He called us a few times before our event to discuss our style, and he was very accommodating of our shot requests. He had great suggestions for our family and couple pictures. During the day, he was very relaxed and photographed our best moments without making us feel like we were being followed. Best of all, he scoped out some great spots for night pictures! He took some stunning shots of us overlooking the lake where we got married at night. We love our photos and are now just having a hard time picking which ones to hang on the wall!

Not only did the photos turn out great but he was very personable and friendly...i was super nervous about taking pictures on my wedding day because I normally hate photos of myself and shy away from them but he found a way to make it comfortable and fun so I can have great memories of my day. He also managed to capture all the special memories without me even realizing he was taking photos. My husband and I rave about him and would definitely recommend!

We were totally blessed to find Rob through Wedding Bug. We spoke before the big day and he made sure he had all my requests down and knew what our vision was for the day. On our wedding day he arrived to the venue early to get set up and take a few photos of the room. As soon as I met Rob I knew his lively and kind personality was going to help make the day a breeze. All of the photos he took turned out absolutely stunning and he covered every shot I was looking for. Throughout the whole process he had great suggestions and fun ideas that brought out a very natural side of our bridal party. He was able to capture all the emotional moments of the day as well as the silly sides of our guests as everyone danced the night away. We ended up with a beautiful collection of photos each with unique angles and lighting. He was never in the way, but always where he needed to be. Rob Hickey is an amazingly talented photographer with an eye for detail and creativity with his shots. In the 8 months leading up to our wedding, Rob met with us in person, corresponded through countless emails, answered all of our questions, had us complete a questionnaire to get more information about what we wanted, and held a phone conference with us just before the wedding day to finalize details. He made sure to discuss our “must-have” photos, which included large-group extended-family shots that Rob coordinated flawlessly during our reception. He was organized, helpful, respectful, and personable. Rob kept to a timeline during the wedding day which ensured that things ran smoothly for the entire 10 hours he was with us. The beautiful images Rob captured speak to his capabilities as a photographer. Rob loves what he does, and it is clear that he wants to help make your day special by capturing moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. Rob did an amazing job at capturing us and all our family and friends on our wedding day (7/7/17)! I am sure it was challenging because it was a very hot day outside, but all the pictures came out great! I am so glad to have met him at the Syracuse Bridal Show! We could not have asked for a better photographer than Rob! I had first met Rob at a wedding expo a year before my wedding. What really turned me on to his services was the unique warmth that all of his photos had to them, combined with how personable and pleasant Rob was.
A month in advance of our wedding, Rob had a phone meeting with us to see what we liked and did not like, shots we wanted and what we wanted to avoid, and made sure my now-husband and I had a clear understanding of what the plan was for the day for photography. We had hired Rob to be a part of our day from when we got dressed until the party was over (9 hours) and he was chipper, interactive, and accommodating the entire time. Rob really wowed us with the shots he was able to capture - from the planned portraits to the candids, and some of our favorite photos were the ones that people had no idea he was taking. He prepared well in advance by arriving early to experiment with lighting and meet everyone so that he could get the best photos possible for us. The man even withstood negative degree temperatures to take photos of my groom and I outside for our winter wedding!
From a month before the wedding until even months after, Rob is always an email or call away and has a great response time. Snatch him up for your engagement shots or wedding day!

Rob was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment I first talked to him, I knew he understood what I wanted in my photos. He was extremely patient and cooperative with trying to get family photos outside before it started raining. He was taking pictures up until the last second it started raining so we didn't miss any opportunities. Just like any weddings, nothing ever goes as planned, and Rob was kind enough to stay a little longer than scheduled so we didn't miss out on our cake cutting. Rob has a great eye and will without a doubt provide you with beautiful pictures to cherish for a lifetime.

My husband and I felt so fortunate to have had Rob capture our special moments on our wedding day. He was fun to work with. I love how enthusiatic he was about shooting at our venue and he came up with such creative ideas. I knew we would see some awesome images but I was truly blown away at the quality of our sneak peak photos. He edited efficiently as we were able to see all of our images so quickly, both in black and white and in color. Not only did he capture the intimate and beautiful moments of our ceremony but he also took a ton of candid shots at our reception, which was a blast. Let me start by saying Rob is an incredible photographer and genuinely nice person. I do not have any experience with photography and when it came to choosing a photographer for our wedding, I didn’t know how to choose. We found Rob at a Bridal Show. We liked his photographs and he was available for our date, so we booked him immediately. I know that doesn’t really sound good, but it was one of my luckiest moments; how Rob was not yet booked, I do not know, but it was meant to be.
While I thought the most important characteristic of a photographer was the quality of their pictures (don’t get me wrong, that is important), I didn’t realize how helpful Rob would be in planning and scheduling our day. As usual, I was behind on planning and had not found a place to take photographs. I wanted outdoor pictures with flowers and nature. I looked at multiple places and told Rob I was having trouble finding an available venue. He ended up looking online for me and asking his colleagues for places in the area that would fit my criteria. He definitely went above and beyond in the planning process.
When it came to the wedding day, he showed up much earlier than requested so he could find the best place for photos given the rainy, dreary day. He stood in the rain, in mud puddles, and let me take photos with my soaking wet horse. He stayed even later than requested at the end of the wedding to make sure we could get the dramatic, night pictures we had requested. One last great example I have that speaks to the quality of person Rob is occurred during our processional. Unfortunately, his camera malfunctioned during the processional and photos could not be taken. While all photographers are covered in their contract for accidents like this, he offered us extra photos for the inconvenience. Combine this with everything he had already done for us and we felt as though we were not just a contract to him but people that he cared about and wanted to give us the best.

Rob is amazing! He not only took the time to make sure EVERY single shot was perfect, he risked life & limb climbing on the top of a golf cart to ensure the perfect shot. He not only did our wedding, but our brother & sister-in-law's wedding, too. He is a fantastic person, as well. He accommodated us far beyond our expectations. When we set out to find a wedding photographer we had not a clue what we were doing or where to start. We did know though what we wanted; we wanted a photographer that would capture our unique venue and adventurous spirit.
When we found Rob’s website we immediately fell in love with his photography. We could not have found a more perfect person to capture our special day. His style, and the composition of his photos were exactly what we were looking for.
Our venue and were we live were extremely far apart but Rob was willing to meet with us over multiple video calls in the months leading up to the wedding, where we discussed how we wanted our wedding to be photographed.
Rob not only captured every special moment of our wedding, he became a part of the family. He came a day early to get set up, get to know our families, and plan the wedding day shots. On the day of the two of us, having so much going on around us and so many more things on our minds, it was great to have Rob spend the time directing us to get the specific shots we wanted but also allow the day to play out and capture all the candid natural moments that first attracted us to his photography.
We are so thankful for Rob’s thoughtful approach and the way our pictures came out! If we ever are in need of a photographer again, he will be our first call!

Rob was not just a wonderful wedding photographer, he also became an amazing partner in helping to create and execute our dream wedding. My hubby and I are both a bit unconventional, very nerdy, fun-loving, and silly. We are each other's best friends and we wanted wanted our winter wedding to be a reflection of us and a celebration of love with all of the people we care about. Rob immediately understood the kind of special day we were trying to plan and he became a regular resource of creativity and ideas that we relied on over our months of planning. When our wedding day came around, Rob's combination of calm and fun made all of the photography seem effortless to us even though we know he was putting his heart and soul into it. When we came back from our honeymoon a couple of weeks later, we were blown away by all of the work Rob had ready to show us. He had captured every special detail and moment for us in his beautiful photography, and most importantly, all of our silliness, joy, love, and happiness. I still get teary when looking at our photos two years later and we couldn't be more grateful for everything Rob did for us!

Not only did they look perfect, but they were extremely plentiful equally nearly 900 pictures from the event, most of which we didn't even realize he was taking. Rob was fantastic! We needed to replace our photographer on short notice and he ended up being a perfect fit. His pricing was reasonable but his service was invaluable. He was a consummate professional and worked with us consistently throughout our wedding planning process and on the wedding day to make sure we got the photos we wanted. He made our very special day that much more memorable by providing both excellent service and a great final product.

I can't say enough good things about Rob and his team! From the moment we met at a bridal show to follow up after the big day Rob was responsive, enthusiastic and accommodating. After a few phone and skype meetings, I really felt like Rob understood our vision of an intimate, joyful, family-style wedding. We had some pretty specific requests, and Rob flexed some creative muscles and scouted locations the day before to make it happen.
On our wedding day he was professional, warm, and managed to melt into the background and capture the day as it went on around him. During formal posed shots his patience and humor put everyone from my nieces and nephews to my grandparents at ease.
When the photos started coming back to us we were floored! Somehow he had captured the most intimate moments of the day without us ever realizing he was there. He captured the unique beauty of our ceremony location and made all the little details I worked so hard on shine.
You can't go wrong choosing Rob to photograph your wedding, and I know I'll be reaching out to him with any photography needs in the future!
