They Won't Disappoint!
We had an excellent experience with Road Yachts and couldn’t recommend them more. They were incredibly responsive, flexible, and easy to work with from start to finish. They helped us coordinate drop-offs at two different locations—Airbnbs for the wedding party and hotels for our guests—and were such a huge help in planning out the logistics to make everything run smoothly.
What truly stood out was how accommodating they were. We even had to make changes the day before the wedding, and they handled it without any issues at all. That level of flexibility was such a relief during an already busy time.
They were by far the best value we found in the area. Considering the level of service and professionalism they provided, we were honestly shocked at how reasonable the pricing was. We highly recommend using them for any wedding or event transportation needs—you won’t be disappointed!

Professional and flexible!
Working with Road Yachts was great! They were the only shuttle service that our venue owner trusted to navigate the dark, countryside roads near our venue (after some apparently bad experiences with other local shuttle services – including running into her fence!) We and our guests had absolutely no complaints! They were also super accommodating with some last-minute switches to the guest count! Would definitely recommend!

Great Wedding Transportation
Road Yachts was recommended to us by our venue and they were fantastic! Ron was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating as we ended up making some changes to our transportation plans closer to our wedding day. All of our drivers were on time and got our wedding party and our guests where they needed to be!

Excellent Choice for Shuttle Service!
The Road Yachts team was wonderful to work with. Planning with them was very easy - they were responsive and helpful in figuring out the capacity we needed for shuttling to and from our wedding ceremony/reception. They were flexible as numbers changed and communicative leading up to the event. We were so appreciative of their drivers promptness, professionalism and patience with us and our guests throughout the night. We also found Road Yachts to be very reasonably priced and had a good diversity in shuttle sizes. We would highly recommend them for any event!

Great Transportation for Leesburg Wedding!
We got married on 9.14.24 at Fleetwood Farm Winery and Road Yachts provided us with our transportation for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Ron was so easy to work with and was flexible in adding another shuttle last minute when we realized that a lot of our guests were going to utilize the shuttles! They transported over 150 of our guests with ease and were on time for everything. Road Yachts was also far and away the most affordable, yet nice transportation option in the area. Highly recommend!

Great Transportation and Service!

Road Yachts was excellent on our wedding day!
We used Road Yachts for our wedding on 10/21/23 to transport our guests in shuttle buses to/from the venue and a limo for ourselves. Their staff was friendly, on time, and everything went smoothly. Additionally, they were very helpful and quick to respond to our email inquiries, and their pricing is very reasonable. Great transportation for wedding! 10/7/23
Road Yachts was amazing. We used them for transportation to our wedding for our guests, as well as the wedding party. They are very timely with responding and the pricing is super reasonable. They help map out timing to make sure guests arrive on time. All our guests made it to the wedding on time and got home safely once the night was over. We had no issues and everything went smoothly. Awesome Transportation!
Road Yachts was such a wonderful addition to our wedding day and a pleasure to work with!
Our point of contact, Ron, was super flexible and his expertise answering questions and making sure our needs were met was so appreciated and, we have to say, everything ran so smoothly that day! The bridesmaids and groomsmen got to the venue on time, as did the guests, who said they had fun on the shuttles and were pleased with the convenience. All the drivers were pleasant and extremely accommodating as well!

We were very pleased with Road Yachts as our wedding transportation! They were the one shuttle company that didn’t require us to rent out the shuttles for 8+ hours, but instead book the transportation for just the time we needed (to get people to and from the venue). This helped us save so much money and was so convenient because we could customize the shuttle arrival times to exactly what we wanted. Road Yachts was also extremely organized and communicative leading up to the event and we had complete faith that the transportation would run smoothly, which it did. Thank you to Road Yachts!

I cannot say enough good things about Road Yachts. We had an incredibly complicated transportation plan for our wedding with buses coming from many different hotels and locations. Road Yachts coordinated everything and ensured everything ran on time and smoothly. They were so responsive and helpful. The crew at Road Yachts was amazing. Our guest count by hotel kept evolving up until ~ two weeks before the wedding and Road Yachts patiently updated the pick up/drop off list and contract accordingly. Road Yachts is the absolute best! We booked them for wedding transportation well before anyone was aware of COVID. We, like most in this situation, were an emotional roller coaster of should we cancel, postpone, have a small wedding, have 2. Changing our minds left and right. The guys at Road Yachts helped keep me sane through it.. they we're ready and willing to help in any way we wanted throughout it all. By far the most flexible vendor we worked with! We wound up using them twice, for a small intimate ceremony, and then later again for a postponed reception. A++ service both times, as always with them! Can't recommend them enough!

We hired Road Yachts as the shuttle for our guests to and from wedding venue. Throughout the process they were very responsive and flexible. I got nervous as we approached our date that we had more people in our wedding hotel block than expected and requested we upgrade to a larger shuttle (after initially downgrading). It was absolutely no issue which really cut back on the stress! All of our guests seemed pleased with the service.

In the planning process, they were super helpful in providing quotes and recommendations for the number of shuttles to book and at what times. Their flexibility in allowing reservations without a large time minimum was great for what we were looking for. On the day of, the shuttles arrived on time and made transportation from our wedding to the after party super easy. They also happened to be the transportation company used at our after party location. The service provided, in both instances, was great and allowed for a worry-free evening for us and our guests!

Great service, easy to work with, totally custom
Travis and RoadYachts were outstanding for our wedding.
We loved that we only paid for what we needed with this service. We were able to build a very custom plan for our wedding day using the shuttles we wanted, when we needed. We used a 12 passenger shuttle for the bridal party, a 57 passenger bus to pick up guests at two hotels and a 45 and 32 passenger bus to drop guests back off at our two hotels at the end of the night.
This ended up being the most economical option for us, and also allowed us to do everything we needed. The busses were clean and on time. The drivers were polite and great at helping us get our people on board at the end of the night. We changed our plans on the types of shuttles we needed and our guest count quite a few times. Travis got all of our details right and the wedding transportation went perfectly despite all of the changes and details we requested.
Hiring RoadYachts for a wedding or any event is a no-brainer.

The shuttle arrived on time to my ceremony and I booked the limo at the last minute and they were so accommodating! Unfortunately our limo didn't have AC, it just happened to be broken but the ride was less than 10 minutes so it was fine. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient wedding transportation
We used Road Yachts to shuttle our guests between the hotel and wedding venue. Travis was very responsive and flexible as I confirmed our guest count. On the wedding day, the shuttle drivers showed up on tie, were patient with us, and made sure that everyone was accounted for. Prices were also very reasonable as they did not impose a minimum rental period for each bus, which some other companies do. I would definitely recommend Road Yachts if you need wedding transportation.

Road Yachts made my transportation situation a breeze on my wedding day and I am so thankful for them! Making sure your guests actually get to your wedding on time is a pretty huge part of the day and I had no worries about Road Yachts coming through. They were always very quick to respond and thorough in their explanation of their processes and charges. Between the time I booked and my wedding, they went through changes in their employees and I know they dealt with some issues from a previous person overbooking their vans/busses. Working with Travis at Road Yachts was fantastic! Absolutely great communication and responsiveness! I had many questions and he put me at ease every step of the way. The day of our wedding, we had shuttles for the bridesmaids and myself, the groomsmen, and our guests. Everything went so smoothly! My shuttle and driver were amazing - the driver was so helpful and accommodating (unfortunately I forget her name). The shuttles were easy to spot since they said "Road Yachts" so there was no room for error. We had pick ups and drop offs at multiple hotels but the team really made it seamless - we even allowed extra time for the pick ups since they had to go to 4 hotels and you never know with traffic. The buses arrived "early" (no traffic thankfully) to the venue with everyone in tow! It was the best thing a bride could wish for on her wedding day - guests being early rather than late!! It really was a pleasure working with Travis and Road Yachts!!

When we booked our wedding venue, our planner told us Road Yachts was one of the biggest priorities as a vendor. Once we saw how smoothly everything ran on the big day, we saw exactly why.
A family member was in the hospital for most of our wedding planning, which made it difficult to communicate with anyone and put this whole thing together. I called or emailed at odd hours but always got a response back. I was nervous booking with Asa over the phone and no real confirmation until I started to hear from Amy, but our wedding planner told us that was just how it was supposed to go and to trust them.
I'm so glad I did. Everything came together without a hitch. Can't possibly recommend them enough.

The best thing about Road Yachts is that you only pay for the time that they are driving as opposed to the time of your whole event.
We used them from transportation to and from our rehearsal dinner, a bus to take the girls to the venue to get ready, to and from the Wedding for Guests, Limo for my husband and I post wedding, and also a wine tour the next day.
They were EXTREMELY affordable, the best prices that I had found in the Loudoun/Fairfax area.
I worked very closely with Amy and changed my mind a million times. She never missed a beat, she was attentive, patient, and beyond insightful.
The folks at Road Yachts know the area and venues. For example, my venue had gates that only smaller buses could fit though, something that i did NOT think about when booking buses. Amy was so thoughtful in letting me know that she would book me smaller buses so that they could take my guests further.
It was such a pleasure working with Road Yachts!! I WILL certainly be using them again for more wine tours and certainly recommend them for your wedding!!!

Road yachts was recommended to us by our wedding venue (Bluemont) because of their value. Rather than paying to have drivers sit around for hours, you only pay for the transport times because the drivers will leave and come back. This is a huge savings.

I contacted Road Yachts about a month before our wedding about providing transportation. Even though they already had 4 other weddings that weekend Asa made it work. The week before our wedding the hotel realized they overbook their bus and wouldn't be able to provide transportation back to the hotel at the end of our wedding. Road Yachts came through and found a way to provide an additional bus for transportation and got all of our guests back to the hotel safely. I highly recommend working with Asa and Road Yachts. They provided transportation to and from our venue for 40 people at a very reasonable rate.

Asa of Road Yachts is one of those people you don't come across often anymore in this world- friendly, honest, reliable, fun, and easy to work with. He is an old-fashioned businessman, one who takes his company and services seriously yet is not interested in high-tech marketing. Just call him on the phone and he will get right back to you. Prices are very reasonable and he will only charge for what you need. Totally flexible on timing and he makes it all work. He transported the majority of our guests to our rehearsal dinner for 115 and wedding for 185. Plus after party and back to hotel. Asa made sure to get everyone to wedding early and not leave anyone behind. Even dropped remaining flowers back at the hotel. Did everything on a handshake and stood behind everything we had discussed by phone. It was a pleasure getting to meet and work with him, cannot say enough good things!

Great service for our wedding
We used Road Yachts for transportation to and from our wedding. The pricing for them is great if you’re having an event in the Leesburg area since they are local and you can pay for two one-way trips to and from your event. Our main point of contact was easy to communicate with and also helped us reduce costs since we had a lower rider count than we initially thought. For the day of the event, the drivers showed up on time and our guests that used their buses were happy with the experience. The only criticism we have is that we needed buses to pick up from two different locations and Road Yachts was not clear in how they would handle this situation until all of the details of the pickup count from each location was finalized. This resulted in a back and forth of contract review up to the day of the event and one of the pickup locations being incorrect. Fortunately, this was not a massive issue as we just had the bus move to the correct location across the same parking lot. Despite this, we would still be fine with hiring Road Yachts again in the future.

They were recommended to me by the owner of my venue (Silverbrook Farm) based on the work they'd done for other weddings- and the fact that they had a proven track record for navigating the winding country roads and driveway leading to the venue. I hired two 20-25 seat buses to shuttle my guests from the hotel to the wedding venue. I would have to agree with the post below. Don't let their lack of communication at first discourage you. They totally came through. They now have a full time person which made things easier leading up to my wedding. Amy is wonderful. She was very flexible so kind. You have 12 passenger, 20, 32, and 45 passenger shuttles. We were able to use different passenger shuttles throughout our wedding to accommodate our needs. Our RD ran over and she was totally fine with the driver sitting there for another hour, and there were multiple times where I had to adjust the contract based on numbers and she was always responsive. Please note that their prices are affordable but they do charge a 20% service/gratuity fee which is normal. The best part of their service though is that they only charge you for driving time. The buses/shuttles will not sit there for hours which is how you will save money. Shuttles are the best idea especially if you have a ton of fun/party people in your group. It was honestly the best decision I made to have them for our RD and wedding. The drivers were so nice and helpful even after multiple people got sick on our bus (we had a lot of fun). Amy was also very understanding unlike most vendors who would probably freak out. Thank you for RY for providing amazing customer service and putting up with a large party crew.

I am so happy that I discovered Road Yachts during our wedding planning process. They are by far the most affordable transportation service around and are able to accommodate large groups of people on their buses. Their prices are so reasonable that we ended up using them for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day! I worked mostly with Amy who does the booking and scheduling, she was a god send! Instead of charging you for a minimum booking time frame (i.e. min of 7 hours like other transportation services wanted), Road Yachts just charges for the time it takes to get to and from your venue, which really helps save $. We did have one scheduling conflict come up when one bus went to pick up at one of our blocked hotels, but that was really the only issue we had. I would definitely recommend using Road Yachts, great people to work with and you really get a bang for your buck!

With alcohol flowing and our wedding and reception taking place at a rural barn far from our hotel options, we wanted to provide our guests with safe transportation options for our wedding day. Time and again, multiple people from our venue owners to other vendors, recommended Road Yachts. They have a ton of different transportation options to shuttle your guests from different hotels at different times from groups large to small. They also have a variety of limo options. The staff was pleasant working with us on making sure to set up proper timing for shuttle arrivals at the hotels to ensure our guests arrived on time, not too early or too late, for the wedding ceremony. All of our shuttles ended up being on time and got our guests when and there they needed to be.
The weather conditions for our October wedding turned out to be unseasonably hot and humid and, unfortunately, our guests seemed to be wilting the longer our reception went on. Understanding we had a prearranged time for shuttle pick up at the end of the night, I called the company and spoke with owner Asa Rusk and asked him if it would be possible for the shuttles to come an hour earlier so our guests wouldn't feel trapped in an uncomfortable situation. I was very clear with Asa that I was only asking if this was possible and was by no means demanding it. Asa was extremely unpleasant with me in his response telling me that he was tired of brides changing things on him and needed to put in a clause into contracts about limiting changes on a wedding day. This didn't seem relevant to my situation at the time. In the end, the drivers came an hour earlier and said it was no trouble at all. It's unfortunate this experience, on our wedding day no less, clouds our view of what seemed to otherwise be an excellent and company. As mentioned, the rest of the staff was very nice and accommodating but it seems the owner may need a refresher on proper customer service.

My husband and I used Road Yachts as the transportation for our September 2016 wedding, and although we experienced the same spotty responsiveness that others have described, we were extremely pleased with their flexibility, quality of service, and prices (the most competitive in the area by far). We contacted Amy Cross-Monroe in early February on the recommendation of our venue (Bluemont Vineyards) and received a summary of their services and a quote. Amy answered our questions and within a week or two of contacting her, we signed a contract. We had some difficulty getting a response from her about where we should send our deposit (!), but we got it to them not long after. It was several months before we contacted her again (with an adjustment to our services), and we again had difficulty reaching her. Up until that point, we had been communicating with Amy via her Comfort Suites email (where she also worked at the time), but apparently she had left the hotel business in May to focus solely on Road Yachts. We did not learn of this until a former colleague of hers from Comfort Suites forwarded our email to her and she got in touch with us (we could not reach her by phone during this time - her voicemail was always full). We were becoming concerned, but once she reached us, communication improved, they were flexible with our changes, and they updated our contract with any details we specified. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch (we rented a 45-passenger bus for our guests, and a limo to take my bridesmaids and me to the venue, and to pick my husband and me up after the reception). Amy and her husband were even our limo drivers that day (so that added a nice, personal touch)! Both were friendly, helpful, and got us where we needed to be on time. Hopefully they have worked out the kinks with their communication since then (it sounds like they were in a lot of transition last year), as they would otherwise be the perfect transportation vendor!

Road Yachts did a good job of giving us great service for a very competitive price. Their driver was very professional and the bus was on time and comfortable. What's really great is that they don't wait around in the parking lot and therefore don't charge you for the time that the bus is unused. The only downside is that they can be difficult to get in touch with. IF you can get a hold of Amy directly she is great and very helpful, but otherwise emails and voicemails would go unanswered. Amy worked with us to find the right bus size and even offered multiple pickup locations.

Do not be put off by their lack of responsiveness months before the event because they will not let you down!! I priced out many different transportation options for my wedding day and Road Yachts was by far the most affordable option. I was a little nervous with their lack of communication in the early stages but my wedding planner (Katie of Pure Whimsy Events) assured me that they were amazing and in fact were the only transportation company that she has not had an issue with in the past. I am so glad that I listened because they were perfect. The drivers were always prompt and professional! They only charge for the time you use them- not the idle hours- which is a HUGE savings ladies!!! The buses were all very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Road Yachts ended up doing an excellent job on the day of our wedding. They provided transportation to our guests and the bridal party. My only concerns were leading up to the wedding when I called 2 weeks before to ask a few questions and I was told they would have to call the week of my wedding because they "didn't have time for me this week". Thankfully my wedding planner talked with them and they carried out their job well. Thank you for getting my guests to and from the reception safely!

This was the only vendor that I was iffy about. First of all everyone got to the church on time, which is really what is important here. Transportation in this area was the most stressful as they all want to require a certain amount of time and charge really high rates, but these guys are much more reasonable price wise. The rates were good although they changed a bit from conversation to conversation, as did the buses that we had. Since we didn't get a contract (my parents ran this part of it, I'm all about on paper agreements) I felt like the buses that we were going to have changed every time we spoke with them based on availability from other parties. This was stressful in that I didn't feel like I had a dependable head count. They also take the sign up sheets VERY SERIOUSLY, so have a game plan for that. Our hotel threw away ours at the end of the night the day before so people that HAD signed up weren't on the new list and it was a bit of an argument (apparently) with the drivers. Please note that your guests will most likely completely ignore any information packet that you give them and act like you never said anything about a list, so make it as obvious as possible because these guys won't budge at all.

On the day of the wedding, Road Yachts was on time and everything went smoothly. We appreciate that they got our guests to and from the wedding safely!

Rude & Unprofessional
We used Road Yachts for our wedding on 09/04/2021. Unfortunately, they did not complete their services or abide to their contract.
We paid for 2 shuttle buses for the return pickup at our venue and only 1 showed up. They claimed our wedding planner turned away the 2nd shuttle bus, however, we actually witnessed only 1 shuttle bus arrive at the venue, plus it arrived 20 minutes late. In addition, they claimed that once they arrived, they stayed at the venue for 25 minutes, free of charge, like they did us some sort of favor after being 20 minutes late to begin with.
Because of this we had several of our guests drive back to the hotel and social distancing could not be followed in the bus like we wanted to since there was only one shuttle bus. When we called to discuss what happened and request for a refund for the 1 shuttle bus that did not arrive, the owner Asa Rusk was so rude and unprofessional telling us that he did not have time for this when he was the one who was returning our call. I don’t know what kind of business owner speaks to clients this way but it was ridiculous.
Had it not been for the extremely rude attitude and poor customer service that we received from the owner, I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a bad review. Ron the assistant was very friendly and helpful.
On today’s date, we did not receive the full refund for the 1 shuttle bus that did not arrive. We are greatly disappointed with this company and if you plan to contract them please be aware of these kinds of issues.

Horrible do not use
There was only one vendor on my wedding day that I regretted and that was Road Yachts. Imagine it is the morning of your wedding and you, your massive dress, two moms, seven bridesmaids, an a million accessories/shoes/bridesmaids gowns are waiting in the hotel lobby for a shuttle that doesn't come while your hair and makeup team call you that they have arrived and need to be let in to the bridal suite to set up. Yeah, not the ideal way to start the morning by any means. We had to rush and call ubers (NOT cheap in Leesburg VA) and were 30 minutes late to start the getting ready process. I was so horribly anxious all morning because they were handling all of our transportation for the day and I was convinced none of my guests were going to be picked up for the wedding. I called and called and finally got ahold of Brian who was very apologetic and assured me he would double/triple check everything was set for the rest of the day. I appreciated his apology and his empathy, but of course was still so worried all day that something would go wrong. I had my bridesmaids significant others (not in the wedding) all text them the second the busses came so I knew they had been picked up - it all worked out for the other busses but so not the level of anxiety you want on your wedding day. Then, the bus driver told my day of coordinator that they were worried they wouldn't have enough space for the return pick up since the busses were almost full without the bridal party so they said they would add on another 20 person bus for free for the end of the night pick up. I knew we didn't need this because we had also had the van from the comfort suites so had more than enough seat space but I was grateful for the extra room and didn't think too much of it at the time (AKA my wedding reception). They did send another bus at the end of the night "for the bridal party" which apparently meant the other busses KICKED OFF anyone in the bridal party trying to get on. Are you kidding me? All the busses were stopping at the hotel the party was staying on - they should never have been kicked off of busses for wearing a bridesmaids dress. It made the whole transportation system look SO unorganized. The worst of it came the next day when the owner of the company called me at 10:00 am NOT to apologize but to say that we should be all good now because he supplied an extra bus for the end of the night since we had miscalculated the number of seats we needed. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I had NOT miscalculated, you told me DOC the extra bus was complimentary, AND YOU NEVER PICKED ME UP IN THE MORNING! They should have been apologizing profusely and giving me a discount/doing anything they could to appease the situation, not offending me even more. The owner is the least professional "service industry" person I have ever encountered and I would not be at all surprised if they are out of business soon. Oh also, Stone Tower told me the day of my wedding (while I was freaking out) that they took Road Yachts off of their preferred vendor list because they had multiple screw ups. They may be cheaper than other companies but it is NOT worth it - don't be stranded on your wedding day.

Road Yachts Gave Us A prison Bus!
Despite the positive reviews, which is why we chose Road Yachts, we had a horrible experience last Saturday. Avoid working with Ron; he doesn't know what he is doing. We had a black tie wedding, and he gave us a blue-painted school bus reminiscent of a prison transfer with no AC. Our limo, taking us to the church, had no AC. It was a 40-minute ride in 90-degree heat. We were so embarrassed! Plus, the drivers were rude and not dressed appropriately. Flannel shirts are not acceptable.

Unhappy with the services
Unfortunately, Road Yachts were the only vendor on our wedding day to not do their job. We rented 2 buses to pick up guests from the hotel to the venue and 2 buses to drop off from the venue to the hotel.
1. Only one bus got to the hotel to pick up guests. That first bus was filled up and the second bus got there late and was told to "go back to save gas". The point of having two buses was to allow social distancing. The first bus filled up but if both were on time, then we would've been able to fill half/half on the buses.
2. The bus to the venue was late. They did hit traffic which was excusable. But inexcusable, the bus driver missed the turn into the venue and could not turn around because it was a single lane road. This made them even more late. This caused our guests to be rushed to the ceremony, our ceremony being delayed, and we wasted money on boutonniere's and corsages on some of the late guests because we couldn't get it on them on time.
3. The night bus driver was terrible. He took 20 minutes just to get out of the parking lot and he caused our guests to have motion sickness due to slamming on the breaks (to the point of making them fly out of their seats) and swerving. Apparently he was fired.
I called the manager who was unapologetic and only wanted to give excuses and did not own up to what happened. We were not happy with the service and do not recommend them

I have been trying to book their business for my wedding in September as my venue referred them to me. It has been extremely hard to get in touch with them- they said they would send me an email, which I never got and they never answer their phone. It also looks like one of their main employees Amy has left the company and that is probably why nothing has been answered. If they don't want my business, I will take it elsewhere!

Quite disappointed with the service. Tried contacting Road Yachts via email to arrange transportation for our wedding. First email was Jan 31st, and never received a response. Tried emailing again and finally got a response Feb 27th, a month later. I clearly stated we needed transportation for approximately 50 people and they asked us to fill out a lengthy questionnaire. So we did... but never heard back until a couple of weeks later. They said oh we decided we do not have enough buses to provide transportation for 50 people. What? Really? I ALREADY mentioned that we had 50 people in the first email on Jan 31st... What a waste of time... Don't make the same mistake as I did. Look elsewhere!
