Excellent Service!

RJ Mobile took such good care of us through the whole planning process all the way through the wedding day. If you are looking for someone experienced, flexible, easy-going, and attentive to detail, Rick is the one for you. Our wedding was difficult because we live out of state. But Rick made sure to meet with us over the phone or anytime we were in town. He was always early, well prepared, and answered our many questions. Even after COVID-19 and changing our date, Rick worked with us and made us very comfortable. He follows through and does what he says!
The day of the wedding, the flow of the music was so well done. He even had lights that lit up the dance floor. It was such a relief to know everything sounded good and clear. The mics worked well through the whole ceremony, no scratchiness or feedback. He helped with the announcements for dinner, toasts, and order of events. Everything was so smooth and well thought out, despite the two of us only meeting twice in a year.
I believe we were Rick's 928th wedding. His experience is everything! He knows what he's doing so everyone else can relax. The price for his services were extremely fair and transparent from the very beginning. This is a person who truly loves his job and it shows in everything he does. If you choose RJ Mobile, you will be in very good hands!

Great experience

Rick our DJ did a fabulous job. He made everything go smooth. Music was awesome kept everyone on the dance floor. He is really easy to work with very professional. Checked in often very good communication.

Rick did such an amazing job! He went above and beyond my expectations. Everyone was on the dance floor all night!! He kept us in schedule and made it so much fun!

Backyard Wedding

Rkck was amazing! He had a very nice setup, and coordinated our ceremony and reception perfectly! He was even close to being evacuated from his home due to fires, but still came to DJ our special day. We danced all night long, and had many comments of how fun our wedding was - thanks to Rick!

He was by far the best choice and you can tell he truly enjoys doing this, and making couples' days special. Highly highly recommend!

Phenomenal!! Exceeded expectations (and hopes!!)

Honestly, we made some GREAT decisions for the wedding of our daughter -- and one of them was DEFINITELY the DJ. The party was PERFECT!! The dance floor was full for hours!! And no one wanted it to end. He handled everything with tremendous experience and professionalism, but more than that he made everything seamless. He listened to everything the bride and groom wanted and made it happen. They wanted a sit-down dinner even though we just did pizza and salad, and the DJ provided just the right atmosphere for that. Then the dancing!! We had a rather conservative crowd -- we weren't sure if everyone would dance -- but they DID! Everyone! It was amazing!! (My daughter believes it was the best wedding she's ever seen :-). That's a great feeling for a mom.

Kept the Party Going

Kudos to Rick Hall of RJ Mobile for the great job at our recent wedding East Fork Country Estate. Our guests raged from 5-85 years in age and we were unsure how many would actually dance. As it turns out Rick was able to keep everyone on their feet for nearly the entire reception. He took as many requests as he could and even encouraged our 78-year-old great aunt to lead a conga line. He also provided the music for the wedding ceremony and could not have been more accommodating.
Rick is very reasonably priced and we highly recommend him.

Amazing selection of music for our special day...

Rick was so professional, and took the time to meet with us and explain how everything was going to pan out. He came well prepared and played some great music, including a bridal request of Monster Mash!! Both family and friends of all ages enjoyed dancing to the music! Thanks so much Rick!! Dj Rick rocks

Dj Rick kept the beat bumping all night. He made sure to incorporate the songs we had requested. I had given him a timeline so he could MC as well, but we did have to give him a few reminders. Other than that, he was fantastic! I would recommend him. Our crowd loved the music. He really knows how to read the crowd.

DJ Rick was phenomenal and amazing

We loved having DJ Rick at our wedding. He was more than accommodating and always prepared and organized. When meeting with him it felt like just meeting with a friend and talking. He knew exactly how to make our wedding run smoothly and made our day very special and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. I would recommend him for anybody looking for an experienced DJ. Our wedding was a very magical night thanks to DJ Rick

Rick was an amazing DJ, all the songs we requested to be played at our wedding Rick new exactly the right time to play them, The Dance music for our reception was fantastic he had everyone on the dance floor dancing the night away made our wedding night that much more magical.

We had Rick DJ our wedding and were so pleased with his services. We wanted all the classics and oldies and he knows them well and what they mash up with. He also brings his own lights and that was a major plus. He kept our party going until the end and had everyone on the dance floor during the night. Rick was easy to communicate with and organized and kept me updated which was a huge relief that I didn't have to go track him down the week prior to the wedding. Rick is clearly very experienced and a very good DJ. He was professional, flexible, timely and charged a VERY reasonable price. But that's not all - My mother refuses to dance. She would not do a mother-son dance at our wedding, which I was ok with. However, Rick was clearly reading the crowd and managed to get my mom up and shaking it for over an hour! I had to get video of it so I'd have proof that she actually did it! It made me so happy, and really showed that this guy knows what he's doing! :)

Rick was great! From the first meeting, where he walked us through everything we needed to know, to the subsequent texts, emails, and meetings, he was wonderful. Professional but relatable, very friendly, and easy to work with. We received many compliments on his work at our wedding and we agree - he did a great job of playing today's hits, as well as classic party music. Rick was an amazing DJ! We hired him for our wedding in early June and he was such a pleasure to work with! He was responsive to our questions and was very willing to meet with us in person on several occasions to discuss our needs and wants. He even followed through on a last minute request that really meant a great deal to us (i.e., changing a song request the day before the wedding). He seriously was worth every penny and made our day so wonderful!! Highly recommend him for any event!!

Rick was such a pleasure to work with. He was punctual for all of our meetings, he was really organized, and I never had to worry about whether or not he’d do a great job. He’s been DJing for a long time, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. Rick was AMAZING to work with during my daughter's wedding planning and at the reception!! He was early to every planning meeting and to the event itself (which calmed down mother of the bride nerves!) Every song the couple wanted, he provided and he made sure everyone from ages 3-83 was having fun. He was also extremely flexible with timing changes. We would definitely recommend him to friends and will use him in the future!

Rick was absolutely amazing DJ at our wedding! He met with us more than the 2 required meetings, spoke with us by phone and text. He adapted to all of our wishes and played the music we chose. For those on a budget, like we were for our wedding, he came in under half the price of any other DJ we sought out. I would definitely recommend Rick for future events.

Rick did an absolutely outstanding job as our DJ! We were encouraged by his many positive reviews, and they proved to be exactly correct. He did a wonderful job of reading our crowd and shaping the music to fit the mood. Once or twice, he tried a song that didn't seem to work, and I was really impressed that he wasn't afraid to change to a song that people liked better; he never dwelled on something that wasn't working, and I loved that. People were dancing during our entire reception, and we received tons of compliments on the music. Rick is a joy to work with, and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Rick was amazing! He met with us twice before the wedding- once way ahead to talk generally and see if he was a right match, and once a week before the wedding to go over last-minute details. What I appreciate about him is that he charges a single price per event, and that includes travel, however much time the event takes, and however much of his equipment you need. He doesn't charge extra for every little thing like I saw many other DJ's do. He wasn't perfect, but overall he played what we wanted and actually got people on the dance floor moving (which we thought was impossible with our small crowd). There were times when he didn't announce things that we had expected him to or we had to remind him, but in the end, especially for how much we paid him, that really wasn't his job. The music was all great, he had mics for us to use for the ceremony and toasts, and he had his own disco lights for dancing the night away! You definitely get more than you paid for with Rick. From what I heard from others I know who spent $1,500+ on a DJ for their wedding, Rick was just as good, if not better. And again- lower priced! He was the first vendor to arrive and the last one to leave at our wedding. I would recommend Rick to everyone! If you aren't sure- just schedule a meeting with him and see for yourself.

Rick is amazing! He DJ'd at my sisters wedding, so I knew I had to book him. He is really friendly, and knows what he is doing. He sent me lists to fill out which songs I wanted played, which songs I didn't want played, and what songs were going with what event. He has backups for all his equipment in case something goes wrong. It could 't have went any better. Thank you so much!!!

Rick was amazing! We had the pleasure of him joining us for our wedding last Saturday. He kept our crowd going and really read them well. He took requests and was great on staying with the Mc portion even though we were definately behind on the days schedule. He adapted to the off schedule like it was nothing. We met with rick a few times before the wedding and he attended the rehersal at which we were a bit overwhelmed. He jumped in and helped fill in our music holes beautifully and eased the stress. :) We would definately reccomend Rick to anyone, our crowd loved him! Thanks again for all you did & being a part of our special day!

We absolutely loved Rick, he was professional and read our crowd well. He did great at rolling with the small changes. I can't say thank you enough for all the help filling in the holes in the music perfectly. It was a huge stress and he lifted this for us with ease taking it off our plate. He was always prompt to respond and early to every meeting. We loved that he was straight forward and honest. There were no hidden fees or extras for every little thing like lights.Huge plus in this industry! Our guests talked about him for months after our wedding. Rick was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He is such a fun guy to work with and met with my husband and I multiple times to make sure we had all our ducks in a row and new exactly what to expect for the music the day of our wedding. All I can say is that the music was perfect! Every had so much fun and I loved every song that came on the whole night. Definitely a hit and I would recommend him to anyone.

Rick is fantastic! Our music was perfect from the songs we walked down the aisle to, our first dance and all the music for the remainder of the evening. HE had unlimited songs to choose from and if he didn't have, he got it. He was a key roll in making our day perfect!

He would remind you if you needed to still complete a few things, and would double check everything constantly. He made sure to meet with us before the ceremony in order to get to know us and just ask about how we wanted our day to go. He was always there early to set up and help out and make sure everything was going to go smoothly. I would definately recommend him to anyone!!

Very experienced and affordable

Rick was great! He acts as both a DJ and MC and really helped to get the party started and keep it going throughout the night. The only small issue we had was with one of the speakers he used during the ceremony - the sound quality wasn't great, but it didn't take much away from the experience. I do hope he gets a new speaker though for future events. He did a great job though MC'ing and playing music that we requested he play before the event, as well as music that kept the guests dancing. Thank you Rick!!

We researched many DJ's and Rick's pricing was the most competitive. He offered to attend our rehearsal at no charge, to ensure our ceremony went off without a hitch. His flexibility, experience and professionalism were outstanding. No regrets with using him as our DJ for both the ceremony and the reception.

Rick is a great guy who you can tell really loves music and provides a very affordable service. He met with us twice prior to our wedding and responded immediately to any emails or text messages that we sent with questions. He also came to our rehearsal to ensure that everyone was on the same page for the wedding. The music at our wedding worked well and he is good at reading people. Noticing that not many were dancing early on he changed up the music and got people out on the floor.

My only complaint was that we had a lot of people afterwards say they couldn't understand him very well throughout the evening (noting that his voice was muffled). Not sure if this was a venue issue, a microphone issue, or what. The main downside of this was that we had asked him to read an unusual reading for my new husband and I to reenter the room to and, unfortunately, people were unable to understand what was being said. My recommendation would be to have him talk to a coordinator, family member, friend, etc. in the venue itself once he's all set up to make sure the mic volume is all good. I would think this should be done with any DJ since I'm sure that as a DJ standing behind the speakers it can be hard to hear what others are hearing.
