The best wedding venue ever!!
I can’t express enough how amazing this venue is! From the breathtaking views, the design of all of the barns, the food from Katie at Vermont Catering Company, the hardworking staff on all parts making you feel welcome, and the amazing planners Krissy and her assistant Sophia, everything was spot on and nothing less than a dream come true. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fairytale wedding, they did not disappoint!! -

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue in the countryside of Vermont, look no further. We have lived in Vermont for 25 years and we were looking for a venue for our daughter. We wanted something that would reflect how special our home state is. We had folks coming from all over the country and this was our chance to show them why Vermont is so special.
From the very first meeting to the day we pulled away the day after the wedding, there was not one moment that we regretted our decision. Krissy and the team at Riverside were always ready with an answer to our question. Our family has been in the hotel business for three generations and we were never disappointed with their hospitality and professionalism. Throughout the weekend they were on top of everything. Not a detail was missed and we all felt so well taken care of. Our daughter had the wedding she had always dreamed of and we felt as if nothing could have topped this wedding. The quality of the food was impressive and exceeded our expectations.
The pre-planning and communication prior to the event was seamless. Upon our arrival for the weekend, we knew that we could somewhat relax and know that Riverside had us all taken care of.

Everyone still says it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
When I say two years later, guests still tell us our wedding is the best wedding they have ever been to, I'm not kidding! Everything was perfect, and there's no better feeling than knowing all the stress of wedding planning was worth it! Our photos had beautiful mountains in the background, and everything on the farm was so aesthetically pleasing that every picture turned wedding catalog worthy. Also, because this was a getaway for guests, people really were able to relax and fully enjoy themselves. -

Our wedding at Riverside Farm in Vermont was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning natural beauty surrounding the venue. The farm is nestled in the lush Vermont countryside, with scenic views, rustic charm, and an intimate ambiance that made our celebration feel both magical and timeless.
The service was impeccable. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly, catering to our every need with genuine care and attention to detail. From the planning stages to the final moments of the night, they anticipated every detail, ensuring we could enjoy every moment without stress. The staff's dedication to making our wedding perfect allowed us to relax and be fully present with our loved ones.
Riverside Farm is truly one of a kind. The attention to detail in every corner—from the floral arrangements and lighting to the beautiful setup of the ceremony and reception spaces—was unmatched. The barn, with its warm wooden beams, and the elegant decor created a cozy yet refined atmosphere that had everyone in awe.

The minute that we toured Riverside, we knew that we had to get married there. My husband and I fell in love when we walked into the Brown Barn. From our first email inquiry to the farewell brunch, every detail was taken care of. I can't say enough positive things about the Riverside team - they are professional, responsive, and incredibly detail oriented. Alli, the wedding coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were the only wedding of 2020 and Riverside made all of the adjustments necessary to allow us to have a safe celebration that match what we imagined. All our guests were floored by the gorgeous property and the way the whole weekend ran so smoothly. I can not recommend them enough! -

We got married on September 21st at Riverside Farm and we cannot say enough good things about them. The entire team was so welcoming and helpful during the whole process, honestly we kept thinking "are we doing everything we need to, we feel like we should be more stressed" but since Riverside was so on top of everything it just made the entire experience way more relaxed and enjoyable. Alli, the planner on site, was incredibly helpful and ensured the days ran exactly how we wanted them to. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, we had a beautiful day, but even if it had been raining it would have been just as gorgeous. The large field where we had our ceremony was well kept and sprawling. All of the barns are unique and beautiful in their own ways. We had a tented dinner since we had a large group, and the location was just perfect for movement from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing. All of the accommodations on site were SO COOL as well. Perfectly fit into the venue vibe and all of our guests loved staying there. We cannot recommend Riverside enough! -

Booking Riverside was hands down the best choice we made when it came to wedding planning. Everyone was really responsive, helpful and flexible. The on site planner knows the venue inside and out and knows many of the local vendors which made planning a breeze. They also contract with Vermont's top caterer which made the food selection process really easy and enjoyable (not to mention, we still have people months later telling us it was the best wedding food they've ever had). The staff was extremely professional and allowed us to pull of our dream wedding weekend! -

Alison Sent on 10/04/2018Can't speak highly enough of Riverside Farm and Alli Kozick! We just got married there and I wanted to write a review as soon as I could because I was so appreciative of all they did to make our wedding weekend the best it could be. The venue is insanely beautiful - we thought it was amazing when we first visited, but once we saw it filled with our family and friends it really blew us away. Many, many guests said it was best wedding (other than their own, if they were married) that they've every been to.
Scenery/Venue - perfect. it's so insanely beautiful, photos don't capture it.
Food - You don't get an option to choose caterers, but Vermont Farms Catering is AMAZING and many people said it was the best wedding food they ever had.
Housing - the onsite rooms are perfect for friends. we loved the bridal/grooms cottages to get ready and our friends who stayed in the stables/caretakers cottage loved it. Amee Farm was perfect for my large family and our friends loved Trailside Inn.
Town - Pittsfield is adorable! Rural, but has everything you'd need (awesome food at general store, amazing hiking, larger scale amenities in Killington)
On-site Coordinator - ALLI IS THE BEST!! She was so easy to work with and kept us on track - she was patient and kind, but also so organized and clear. It was so nice to have her to ask questions and get her expertise since she's seen far more weddings that we have. Alli told us we wouldn't need a wedding planner and she was 100% correct - the weekend went off seamlessly! Alli is the best!
If you're contemplating getting married at Riverside - DO IT!! You will not regret it and it will be amazing. I love that not only do my husband and I have perfect memories, but our friends and family all do too. It was so nice to see them happy and it really made the weekend wonderful for us. I wouldn't change a single thing!

We have nothing but very positive things to say about the property, the coordinator, and all of the vendors. The property was spectacular and we loved having everything on site. Our wedding coordinator Alli was truly wonderful. She was such a big part of our ability to ensure a stress free weekend and made sure everything leading up to the wedding was taken care of as and when it needed to be. The food from Vermont Farms Catering was incredible and we had so many of our guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The weekend was more than we could have dreamed. Leading up to my wedding I had countless people tell me that 1 huge thing will go wrong on the day. But despite the unexpected snow storm and the rain I can honestly say it was a beyond perfect day and I have Sophie, Kim, and their team at Riverside to thank for that. Everything was perfect from the helpful and friendly wait staff to the rooms we stayed in. They know all the answers to your questions before you even ask them. I had a tiny dress malfunction and Kim was there with safety pins and clothespins ready to help me in my time of need. I could not have dreamt of a better place to get married or a better group of people to help make my dreams come true. -

Courtney and Liz were the perfect wedding coordinators: kind, responsible, easy going, fun, and knowledgable. The venue is stunning and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was. Everyone was treated so well and with such care. Also, every vendor they recommended to us was exceptional. From the food to the flowers to the band, we felt like they listened to us and recommended the perfect people to take care of our wedding. -

We toured nearly 10 venues around the state before choosing this one, and the moment we saw it, we knew nothing else compared. It is hands down the most beautiful venue we came across — the setting, the atmosphere, the overall experience — it just felt special. Even now, our guests still rave about the location and especially the FOOD.
I want to be transparent about budget because I think that’s important for couples planning their big day. We did end up going over our original budget. Some of the lodging options didn’t work out for several of our guests the way we had hoped, and we ended up absorbing some of those costs. My advice would be to really dig into lodging logistics ahead of time and make sure everything aligns with your guest list and expectations.
That said — I would not trade the experience we had for anything. The vendor team was incredible. Every single professional we worked with was warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend seamless and special. Their attitude, organization, and overall vibe made the entire process feel joyful rather than stressful.
And the food. I cannot say enough about Vermont Farms Catering — they are the absolute BEST. If you are a foodie, you will not be disappointed. Our guests are still talking about it. The quality, presentation, and flavor were exceptional and truly elevated the entire celebration.
If you’re looking for a stunning Vermont setting with top-tier food and an incredible team behind it, this is it. 🤍 -

Riverside Farm is absolutely gorgeous and a spectacular venue for a wedding weekend. The property is expansive and has different event spaces which allows for multiple options to really plan the wedding that is specific to your vision. I planned the weekend by myself so definitely leaned on Kaycee a lot! She was always so responsive and was the most helpful, patient and supportive person throughout the entire planning process. During the actual weekend, I didn't stress about anything knowing everything was taken care of by the entire Riverside Farm team, especially Kaycee. It was a magical weekend and I am so happy to have chosen Riverside for our venue! -

We got married at Riverside in August and can't say enough about the venue, Alli and all of the vendors involved. The Riverside team ran the entire weekend with flawless execution, which truly enabled my husband and I to enjoy the weekend without worrying about a thing. Alli and the preferred vendors guided us along the entire journey, providing recommendations while also letting us make the event our own. There was nothing that couldn't be done - I was even able to bring my horse for our first look! The wedding was truly everything I have ever dreamed of, complete with the gorgeous Bridal Suite and Grooms Cabin, a really fun space for the wedding party to stay onsite and the most beautiful bed and breakfast down the street for all of our family and close friends. The venue is also a photographers dream and the opportunities for photo ops are endless. Lastly, Pittsfield is such a charming New England town and you really have the sense that you own the place for the weekend. The General Store (also home to Vermont Farms catering which is some of the best food we have ever had - and we lived in NYC!) has anything your guests may need and Clear River Tavern provides amazing accommodations for guests as well as a perfect after party. I can't think of a more magical place to get married. I wish we could do it again! -

No other venue in Vermont can compare to the location, the beauty of the grounds and the attentive staff. Our wedding was incredible, many thanks to Riverside staff who were there throughout the entire process, and who really made the entire weekend seamless. Sophie, the coordinator I worked with from day one was fantastic in helping to keep me organized and in responding quickly to help answer any and all questions, or to give me advice when needed. Her calm demeanor is invaluable to a bride. She gained my trust completely and by the day of the wedding I had nothing to worry about because I knew she would handle anything that came up. Riverside as a site is simply stunning - having grown up in Vermont, I wanted to share the beauty of my home with my new New York in-laws and extended family, and Riverside provided that perfect backdrop. The restored barns have been beautifully finished and our bridal party loved staying in the lodging throughout the property. Overall, it was just an unbelievable experience, a dream wedding, and one that friends and family are still talking about. Worth every penny.
