Couldn't have asked for more!

Working with Priscilla was an absolute dream! She quickly learned about our family dynamics and the general personalities of the people she would be photographing on our wedding day and executed perfectly! Looking back on the photos, we notice she really has a keen sense of detail and really captured the essence of the day from the beginning to the end. Great communication from the start and timely production of our gallery. We would definitely recommend Riverland Studios to anyone who needs an excellent photographer with reasonable packages.

Picking a photographer was one the most important pieces for our wedding and one of the "3" we really cared about. Riverland studios did not disappoint! Bridgit's photographs are just gorgeous and are a timeless piece of our day that we will have for years to come. She was excellent and easy to work with. Absolutely worth the money-- would definitely choose them again. With an 8 hour package-- you get a complimentary photo album (the studio picks the photos). Was a bit disappointed with the quality of this album (paper, flimsy) but really that's just water under the bridge at this point and doesn't overshadow the excellent work they did.

We worked with Bridgit for our wedding, and she's absolutely amazing! From the second she arrived, she had this very calming presence about her. It was very obvious that she knew what she was doing, and was one of the main reasons I was able to stay calm the entire day. Not only was she our photographer, but the little things she did (helping bustle my dress, putting extra flowers on the cake that someone forgot to do, etc.) made a huge difference. She had us do all of the pictures where she knew would look the best, but she was also really considerate and asked if there were any extra shots that we would like to which I thought was really nice.

We were actually a Hurricane Matthew couple, so we were originally supposed to be married back in October 2016, but it had to be ultimately canceled--Bridgit was the first vendor to personally call me, and assured me that she would do whatever she could to be able to make our rescheduled date. She's really personable, laid back, and from the sample shots we saw from her camera, we literally can't WAIT to get back the final product! We know they're going to be absolutely amazing!

I decided to choose Riverland Studios, and specifically Cana, to photograph my wedding because of several reasons. After reaching out to the studio for more information, Priscilla, the Studio Manager, was very responsive and helpful. The package offerings fit our needs, and you can even add on options. Cana was an awesome choice as a photographer. She was very friendly and accommodating to the pictures that we really wanted to take. She even rode the trolley with the bridal party! Overall, Riverland Studios offers some of the best options for wedding photography in the Charleston area!

We worked with Emily Baucom from Riverland Studios and I'm sooo happy we did. Emily started way back with engagement photos with us on Folly Beach. She was absolutely amazing - giving us little hints and suggestions and making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We brought our two dogs along for the shoot and she even made them look like models. We have so many beautiful shots from our engagement shoot!
Emily also photographed my bridal portraits and wow did she make me look great! She's so helpful with directions and poses.
She recently photographed our wedding on Magnolia Plantation. We haven't received the pictures yet (we just got married!), but I know they're going Robbie beautiful!
Emily is such a wonderful photographer! She's so easy going, but knows exactly how to get the most beautiful shots! She doesn't hesitate to climb on a chair or the bushes! I can't say enough great things about her! I highly recommend her and Riverland Studios for any of your photography needs!

Riverland studios is so great to work with! I was planning my destination wedding in Charleston, and Riverland Studios was one of the most wonderful venues I hired. They are professional and organized. I worked specifically with the photographer, Shannon Noel. All I can say is she is WONDERFUL. On my wedding day, Shannon had taken all of my notes and requests into consideration. She was so professional, and calm. For a woman that felt a little frantic on my wedding day...that ALL went away when Shannon showed up. She is so reassuring. I have gotten so many compliments on my wedding photos. Friends of mine have even told me they love my pictures even more than they love their own wedding photos. I have told so many of my friends who my photographer was because my pictures are so breathtaking. If you want beautiful photos to remember for a lifetime, Riverland Studios will transform your wedding into a fairytale/magazine/flawless event. I can't say enough about how much I loved working with Riverland Studios. Don't look anywhere else! Their photographers and staff will make you feel unique and important.

Book with Riverland. They are professional but very caring about what special details in your wedding you would like photographed. We requested to work with Noni, one of the main photographers on their team, and she did such a phenomenal job. Riverland Studios is a collection of photographers, so look through them and see who's work you like best! We were so happy to get Noni, as she was my now husband and my's first choice. She worked with me through a consultation to find a timeline for photos that fit our budget and made the process a breeze.

I cannot possibly recommend Riverland Studios enough! The owner, Priscilla, is so responsive to e-mails, and she did a wonderful job communicating with throughout our wedding planning process.
We chose Emily as our photographer, and we could not have imagined a more perfect person to shoot our wedding day! Being a bride that was planning a destination wedding, I was extremely nervous when trying to find a photographer. I looked at many different photographers but Riverland Studios was recommended to me by a previous bride who used my venue. There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible Riverland Studios was. From the second I went to their website, to talking with Priscilla, and working with Cana, it was such a blessing to have found these women to capture my wedding day. Priscilla and Cana were always so attentive with questions and Cana was able to meet with my mom and I when we were in town. Cana was there on our wedding day, had everything planned out to a T, captured every photo I asked for and more for 12 hours, pregnant! She was such a trooper and has a true talent for photography. She did a great job organizing family photos so that we did not waste a ton of time and shot so many pictures during the ceremony and reception without being seen. I highly recommend Cana and the Riverland Studios team, they are amazing!

The one thing you want on your wedding day is peace of mind, and Riverland Studios will give you exactly that! Owner Priscilla Thomas is very responsive and has a ton of great advice. Don't hesitate to call and speak with her. We chose Shannon because we had seen her work at Magnolia Plantation on a blog and fell in love with her pictures. She was absolutely wonderful the entire time. The pictures turned out great too!

Wow what can I say? Riverland was the best. My daughter's bridal pictures are outstanding! Amanda our photographer is so talented and patient. She doesn't rush the perfect shot and remains so calm! A terrible thunderstorm came up just before the wedding but Amanda braved rain and mud to get the pictures the bride and groom wanted! She went way beyond what I expected!! The wedding pictures that I have received so far are a great reflection of the entire wedding. I couldn't be more pleased! Thank you Riverland and thank you Amanda for providing these digital memories we will cherish forever!

Emily and her assistant were a joy to have photograph our wedding day! They were snapping photos all over and had some really fun and romantic shot ideas. Their easy going personalities helped make the wedding day smooth and stress free on their end.

Emily Baucom was the photographer for my daughter's wedding on kiawah island, SC.
She is a local resident, knew the area, and the venue and location on kiawah, and found the perfect settings and backdrops for the most beautiful pictures of my daughter and her husband, and for the attendants and guests. I put my best friend - a professional wedding photographer - to the task of selecting not only a wedding photography studio, but also a wedding photographer from that studio. She considered price point, but mainly focused on their portfolios because the images captured on your wedding day are priceless. Both of the portfolios she selected were from Riverland Studio and her top choice was Cana from Riverland.

I'm happy to say that Riverland and Cana did not disappoint. We had a beautiful day celebrating our wedding with an intimate guest list. Cana captured us and our family/friends beautifully. We will cherish our wedding photos! I'm very happy with the professionalism of the studio as well. In the planning and payment process I had several questions and I always received a helpful, sweet and prompt response from Priscilla - their Studio Manager.

Haley and the team at Riverland Studios were great to work with! My hair piece fell out right before the ceremony and Haley went above and beyond to help me get it back in place and looking good! We just had a small, family-only ceremony downtown, and Haley felt like part of the family by the end of the shoot. My husband and I looked at multiple photography studios before deciding on Riverland (by the recommendation of a friend who also used them) because of their price and the quality of their work.

Emily Baucom was my photographer and she knocked it out of the park! I couldn't be happier with my pictures and editing. She was seamless, easygoing, friendly and as the pictures prove, a true natural talent when it comes to capturing a moment and a mood. I told her what types of shots I did and didn't want and she got it to a tee without being told twice. I highly recommend going with Riverland for the product and the pricing.

The team at Riverland Studios, especially Shannon Holton, made our big day (and my bridal portraits!) something we could never forget. After much searching for a photographer, I found Riverland Studios. Cana from Riverland did my engagement photos last spring and just did my wedding a week ago. I could not be happier with Cana or Riverland. The quality and style of the pictures is unbelievable. Plus, they make it such a fun experience. We loved working with the energetic and creative professionals at Riverland Studios! The studio manager took the time to meet with us one-on-one and answer all of our questions and provide lots of great ideas and input about which photographer would mesh well with our personalities. Our photographer, Emily, was a true pro. She arrived early and immediately started snapping photos. She did everything she could to make sure our vision for our wedding day was carried out, including driving the bride in her vehicle to our "first look" location! Riverland Studios has several online questionnaires to help plan the look and the photos you want. They listened to all of our ideas and gave us great advice on the lighting and what time of day would work best for which photos. Our photos were beautiful and will be treasured for decades to come.

Brittany did a fabulous job as our wedding photographer!! When we were looking for a photographer, we were looking for a company that wouldn't break the bank but would provide outstanding service and quality. My wedding planner (Sage Innovations) recommended Riverland Studios and we couldn't have been happier with them. One look at Brooke's portfolio and I was sold! They made the whole process very easy; I could keep track of my payments online and they even sent a little survey prior to the wedding so they could get all of the details in an organized manner (bridal party, names, family members, shots we wanted, etc). Brooke called me a few weeks before to talk through everything so she could be ready to go the day of.

After a very successful wedding day full of photos, my husband and I received the final photos and are thrilled. She captured my vision perfectly and I cry every time I look at them!

Riverland Studios was amazing. Not only was my photographer, Sara, very energetic and funny, she was also very accessible and seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. I was more than pleased with all of my pictures. She did an excellent job and I would highly recommend these guys to any bride wanting her special day captured perfectly. It was such a wonderful experience working with Riverland Studios. My husband is not exactly a fan of the camera, but Shannon somehow managed to show his charming personality in so many of the pictures. Our wedding was a record hot day in Kiawah Island (over 100 degrees!). I was so worried I was going to look like a sweaty mess in our wedding pictures. Got them back a few weeks later to find that everyone in the wedding party looked fresh and lovely! Not sure how Shannon did it, but she did! Pure magic! :)

There are not enough stars for Riverland. From start to finish the service and staff were incredible. When starting the search for a photographer I have to admit a lot of my decision was based on price point. After countless hours of research and multiple attempts at finding the right photographer we stumbled upon Mat and Jeanne at Riverland. At first glance I never imagined they would be within my budget but after working with Mat on creating a custom package for my day I felt confident that not only would I get all of the things I wanted, but I also wouldn't need a loan for these timeless photographs. Jeanne and I spoke multiple times before the event so when she arrived I felt confident she knew exactly what I wanted and not only did she produce, she handled my crazy family and 18 person bridal party with ease! To say I was impressed would be the understatement of the year! After the posed shots and the ceremony I didn't remember seeing Jeanne again until she came to say goodbye at the end of the night. I was actually a little nervous that she hadn't taken photographs! I couldn't have been more wrong. We received our first look shortly after arriving home and I was happy with them. They were so pretty and Brittany did a wonderful job editing them down! When we received the entire album, I was stunned. It literally took my breath away as I relived our entire day all over again just like I was there. Jeanne somehow managed to capture EVERY SINGLE SECOND. She didn't leave 1 thing out. For a day that goes by in such a blur, getting to relive it over and over again through her lense is something I can't be more grateful for! These images are not just timeless and gorgeous but they are memories that she was able to save for us that we can share with our family and friends forever! I can't think if anything more important and I couldn't recommend Riverland enough!

Riverland Studios is an absolute joy to work with and I could not be happier that we chose them for our wedding day/elopement session! Prior to our big day, Mat was always super responsive to my questions and I was so relieved that booking with Riverland Studios was such an easy process. My husband and I could not have asked for a better photographer - Cana was fantastic! I have nothing but good things to say about Marylou from Riverland Studios. I truly had a wonderful experience with her, both professionally and personally (she even helped my fasten my corset - it doesn't get much more personal than that). She went so far above and beyond what she was hired to do - especially assisting my 4-year-old daughter and I to get ready before the ceremony. She did a great job helping me to keep everything on schedule, especially since I was very distracted and having an extremely hard time focusing on "details" like that. Her direction while taking photographs and her energy throughout the ceremony and reception were amazing - she was everywhere! My father was also exceedingly pleased with Marylou, he has mentioned multiple times how impressed he was with "the photographer". He seriously wouldn't stop talking about her for days.

There's really no way to thank her enough - I wonder if she realizes that she's not only a photographer, but also provides a kind of vault for the safekeeping of memories, which can fade and disappear. Additionally, she was the "fly on the wall" who captured the details, moments, emotions, that my husband and I were too overwhelmed, busy, and otherwise unavailable to notice ourselves.

As of this writing, we've received our "sneak peek" photos and are awaiting the rest, but if they're as beautiful as the ones we have so far, we're in for a real treat! Thank you so much, Marylou, your truly made our day!

Updated: Just when I thought I couldn't be any more impressed with Marylou, I got my completed images back. Basically, she captured just about every detail, emotion, and important moment from before and during the ceremony, throughout the reception, and right up until our departure - and they're all beautiful. We had the pleasure of working with Cana Mcdonald through Riverland for our wedding pictures. Cana is so amazing and sweet and if you look at her previous work you will see an amazing photographer! From the moment she started taking pictures, she was on point making sure everyone's hair was in the right place, the lighting was great and ensuring we got all the photos we wanted while staying on our timeline. She even drove us back down to our ceremony site for sunset pictures and made us feel so comfortable. I love how she was taking pictures of every moment but you didn't feel like you were intruding on her. I've been to multiple weddings where the photographers are completely in the way or just noticeable and she was amazing at being there but not prohibiting guests from having a good time. I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of a talented, photographer & just all around a gem!

Working with Riverland Studios was absolutely the easiest and most fun part of planning our elopement! Brittany was amazing, Mat was amazing, the day was amazing! From the beginning, Riverland Studios was a dream come true. Their services and costs are outlined in incredible detail on their website--which cannot be said at all of most studios--and they offered incredible flexibility beyond block-packages. The photographers' pages and portfolios on their website allowed us to explore the various photography styles available in great depth and while they were all exceptional, Shannon's portfolio stood out in particular. After looking at probably two dozen portfolios before coming across the Riverland Studios crew, the fact that the subjects of Shannon's pictures all appeared comfortable, natural, and happy really stood out to us. Sure enough, she put me completely at ease during my portrait session, for which I had been quite nervous. While there certainly is a posed element to wedding photos, especially the formal group shots, Shannon engaged our wedding party in such a way that everyone really could just be themselves. The expressions and reactions are genuine. There's nothing stiff or awkward about any of them. We are all so happy with the final products, which were delivered to us very soon after the wedding on a flash drive, with files in high resolution for printing and low resolution for posting on social media. I greatly prefer this to just ordering prints because we have more flexibility to decide which prints we want while still having the files for viewing pleasure. Beyond the value and quality of their products, the staff at Riverland couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Mat must have answered several hours worth of questions I had along the way and was always eager to do so; Lucy kept me in the loop on the progress of the editing and proofing; and Shannon has to be one of the kindest individuals I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She's hard-working, organized, compassionate, and sincere. Her passion and enthusiasm for her work is evident in every interaction and working with her was a joy throughout.

Working with Riverland for our wedding was an amazing experience. Caroline was our main shooter and we had an absolute blast with her! She really listened to what was important to us and she was able to handle all of our weird off the wall requests (specifically our horse head mask that we forced into half of the wedding pictures!). The formal photos with our families went really smoothly and quickly. We didn't feel like we wasted ANY time away from our reception to finish up with pictures because she was so quick and efficient! She even stopped traffic on King St. for us to get some shots that we wanted.

We would use Riverland studios over and over and over again! We couldn't be happier with out pictures and we really feel like we have EVERYTHING from our night captured!

After interviewing numerous photographers a friend recommended Riverland Studio’s in Charleston. We decided to go with Marylou based on her experience and photography style. Our first time meeting was for our engagement photos and we knew instantly that we had made the right choice. Marylou takes amazing photographs but her eye for a perfect backdrop is what really impressed me. Every shoot, engagement, bridals, and the wedding were absolutely gorgeous! She was able to capture all the traditional moments that we wanted to remember while still keeping with the overall artistic feel I really loved. Throughout the whole experience I was in constant contact with Marylou making sure she knew exactly what we wanted. We created a pinterest board which really helped with the must have photos. Riverland Studios handled all the editing and did a fantastic job! They provided me with a sneak peak of each session before all the photos were ready which I really appreciated. Riverland Studios was amazing to work with! Jennings shot our wedding and was awesome! Living in NYC and having a wedding in Charleston meant our first meeting with our photographer was the day of our wedding. She was very professional and made both of us feel very comfortable. I can't cay enough great things about Riverland Studios Photography! Wes and I were lucky to have Jeanne shoot our engagement photos in May. We live in Ohio, so coming to Charleston we didn't know much about the area. Jeanne provided great suggestions on where we could get our pictures taken. We ended up going to Boone Hall Plantation and the water front park. Both places were amazing, and the pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Caroline was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Getting married on New Year's Eve made for a very different type of wedding as well as schedule for the day of the event. Everyone (from the owner to the photographer) at Riverland was very easy to work with, and responded quickly to e-mails. The value was excellent! No extra fees to get a DVD with your photos, like a lot of other studios charge. They also do a great job of getting to know the couple before the big day, so they have a good feel for what you need and expect.

We were fast friends upon meeting and I was so excited for her to shoot our big day! I honestly cant say enough good things about Shannon and working with Riverland as a whole. They are all very down to earth, easy to communicate with, and super willing to work with you and accommodate all of your photography dreams! As a new photographer myself, I am a self proclaimed "photo snob" and super picky about things I like and I can say with 100% confidence that there is not a thing I would change about my pictures or my experience with Riverland and Shannon. Riverland studios was one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding! They were always responsive with emails and made the whole process very easy by putting everything online. Our photographer was Caroline, and not only is she a very talented photographer, but she was such a pleasure to work with. Our pictures turned out amazing, and I had the disk at my house a little more than 2 weeks after my wedding. I would recommend Caroline or anyone from Riverland studios to photograph your wedding. They were the best!

I used Brian and Kessie for Riverland Studios and they rocked. They did my bridal portraits and wedding day pictures and they were amazing! I highly recommend them. There is no one better to capture your special day. So glad I have these pictures to look at for the rest of our lives.

I cannot say enough kind words about our photographer (Sarah) and our editor (Noni). Between our engagement shoot, a family photoshoot, and our big day, we've had a lot of correspondence with the team at Riverland studios. They are nothing short of incredible. Each person on the team has their own style of shooting. We chose Sarah because of her laid back "Capture the moment-don't make the moment" approach. Our shots turned out AMAZING. You seriously cannot go wrong with these folks! They're super artsy and make you feel extremely comfortable while being photographed. Priscilla did a family photoshoot near Christmastime and she is also fabulous. If you're looking for a team that is truly invested in their customers-these folks are the way to go.

Shannon Holton with Riverland Studios perfectly captured our wedding day. She was such a joy to work with and I could not have asked for a better photographer! Even dealing with freezing temps, rain, and high winds, Shannon kept her cool which helped keep me calm. And the pictures turned out AMAZING!! Not only did it look like a sunny warm day, but Shannon captured all of the high points of the evening and how much fun our guest had. The first time I reviewed the pictures, I teared up because it brought me right back the to wedding and reminded me how special the day was. Since the wedding, Riverland has been so easy to work with. I love the preview they send and post on their blog shortly following the wedding. And ordering prints is very easy. Our photograher with Riverland Studios, Brittany, has a creative and unique eye for her surroundings. She is extremely talented. While planning, she listened to my thoughts on the aesthetic of the wedding overall (which was extremely important to me) and the style of photography we were looking for and was able to execute perfectly! She was patient, positive and easy going the entire day and was so kind to stay a few minutes extra when we were running behind. Riverland Studios was professional, organized, communicative and responsive throughout the process. They were one of my favorite and easiest aspects of planning a wedding - no small feat!

We had the pleasure of working with Cana and she was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so sweet and willing to do whatever we wanted to do but also giving us her ideas and knew exactly what poses to do and how to capture amazing photos. My husband and I did extensive research before picking a photographer and it shows in her work we are so glad we picked her! As for Riverland great company to work with! Our experience with Riverland Studios was optimum from start to finish. Upon contacting them for services, Mat, the Studio Manager, helped us select our photographer for the event. We loved Brooke's bio and portfolio, she seemed like the perfect fit to photograph our wedding. We met with Brooke a few months before our big day, and she was so sweet and was very knowledgable with the whole process. As a first time bride, she really put my mind at ease because I knew she would have a schedule to get all the shots we wanted.
Riverland Studios also impressed us with the thoroughness in their process. They occasionally sent us questionnaires that got all the information they needed from us in order for them to capture all the important people and moments on our wedding day. The questionnaires were spread out well enough so that it did not seem overwhelming to fill them out.
When our wedding day finally arrived, Brooke had arrived early to scope out great locations for our shots, and was even early to meet with us to get started! Things of course were already a bit hectic with all of the girls and guys getting ready, and Brooke sensed she needed to take charge to get everyone where they needed to be for her shots. We went to two locations before our ceremony to take photos, and it was all due to Brooke keeping everyone moving and on schedule that we were able to make it to our ceremony on time!
She was so polite while doing her job and you could tell how much she loved it because she would get so excited when she got a great shot! She did her job so well that she was noticeable when she needed to be but faded into the crowd when she didn't need to be. My dad even mentioned to me that he didn't even notice her during the ceremony and reception - he was shocked that she got all the shots that she did because he barely even saw her! Overall I would definitely recommend Brooke and Riverland Studios to anyone because our shots turned out phenomenally!

After looking at a number of studios and portfolios, my husband and I chose to work with Marylou from Riverland Studios at our Charleston, SC wedding. Riverland came highly recommended by the venue and did not disappoint! They were very professional and available to me by both email and phone, ready to answer any questions I had during the planning process. Marylou herself was a delight to work with, I hardly knew she was there the day of the wedding and the photos we got were better than we could have hoped for. We also decided to do a day after shoot in Charleston and at the beach and she went above and beyond to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. Couldn't have chosen a better photographer!

Literally everything about this company is fantastic. Great prices, great photographers, awesome attitudes they are just overall a great studio. I only had one photographer at my wedding, Shannon, and she was great. She has a lot of skill and is really easy to work with she listens well to what the bride/groom, and family wants and makes great compromises. She even gave us a few extra minutes of time and caught our cake cutting, and eating and some dancing. I love all of my photos and wish I could have taken more.

Priscilla and the whole Riverland crew were so wonderful. They responded to my emails and questions so quickly and with such kind professionalism. Pricilla was such a joy to work with. She was personable and professional. We had a hard time with the price at first, but it's very comparable for the area, plus they give a print release with their photos, a lot of studios don't. My wedding photos are beautiful! It poured rain on our day, and it was stressful and chaotic, having to switch to our back up plan last minute, Priscilla was so helpful, and you would never know what a dreary day it was by looking at our photos. She got some very unique shots, we wanted a photojournalistic style, and she definitely delivered. We would definitely recommend Riverland Studios!

I was initially drawn in by the style of photography. Amanda was great to work with. We were both a little concerned about being awkward while posing for engagement session, but Amanda provided the perfect amount of guidance. When the wedding came we already felt so comfortable with her and really trusted her. Our pictures are amazing. It was well worth the cost, which is reasonable compared to others photographers that offer similar quality.

We used Jennings from Riverland Studios and she was great. She had a great attitude and a lot of patience (perfect for our crazy family and friends) and the pictures came out fantastic - the perfect blend of vintage glamour we were looking for. She made herself available to meet for coffee before our event to get to know each other and offered to have us come by the studio (but we ended up being too busy). The studio itself was very responsive/professional and kept us in the loop regarding when we could expect our photos, how to order prints etc. All in all it was one of the least stessfull vendor experiences we had!

We had the pleasure working with Shannon at Riverland Studios and we were so pleased with both her personality and her professional work. She is a wonderful photographer who captured our personalities and concepts of how we envisioned our memories from the big day. We have also had so many compliments from all our friends and family about how many of our photos are magazine-esque. Shannon took the time to print out examples of shots we had wanted to help us as we had very limited time. She was really great at keeping us on track to fit everything in--even our photo shoot down at the beach! We would certainly book Shannon again and recommend her and Riverland Studios to anyone--family, friend or otherwise!

Riverland Studio was very professional and played a major role in making our day so special for us. Jeanne was able to capture some moments that will last a lifetime. We received the photos in a very timely manner as well. Jeanne was a delight to work with and knew exactly what we were looking for in our pictures.

I was very pleased with the photos of the venue and reception. Pre ceremony, I was sad that my husband and his groomsmen did not have many photos ( The two photographers stuck together and did not split up to take double the picutes) so that we would have a timeline like album of the day's events. I also was upset that I was asked whom I wanted pictures of post ceremony after filling out a detailled questionaire for Riverland with the shots I wanted. I would refer this vendor but would caution about lack of organization pre and post ceremony

Disappointed!

Cana was in charge of capturing my wedding day photos. Initially I was very excited. She sent a sweet gift that I loved and felt like we were going to be in a good place. As time got closer, it was harder to get a hold of her. It took emailing the office to get a reply. Once we did speak, she spoke about a second shooter being at the wedding to be with my husband in the morning. I hadn’t added one but I assumed it was just her assistant and was thrilled. The day of the wedding came. She was 40 minutes late. Which meant my picture time was cut. She also told me that morning, there was no second shooter and that I did not add one. I was infuriated that she could be so scattered. Because she said there would be one I expected there to be one. Everything was so rushed, I was so anxious the entire afternoon. She didn’t get personal details of my ceremony space. The details of my shoes my rings my invitations were just so last minute and My bridal party all felt it. I didn’t get a single picture in my veil alone or with my husband. The pictures for my ceremony were either dark, or just very underwhelming. I didn’t get one nice photo of my father and I. She got 1 far away shot of our first kiss and that was it. I regretted asking people not to have their phones out which is pretty ridiculous. I did get some nice photos with my husband during dinner time, for our first look, and we have a few that are nice we will keep. My husband didn’t get a picture with his best man, his brother. Which riverland was nice enough to photo shop other people out of s picture so it could look like it was just them. However, that doesn’t make up for my experience. All together, I wish I chose a different photographer/agency. The anxiousness made me sick on my wedding day because of how late she was and how rushed everything felt. If there’s a bride looking for an easy, on top of things, photographer who will keep you at ease, this is definitely not a photographer for you.
