We were struggling with finding a florist that shared and could execute our vision for or North Fork Sunflower themed wedding and then Peggy came into our lives! From the moment we spoke with Peggy, we could feel her excitement as an artist to work with us and bring our vision to life. The same evening of our first conversation with her, she emailed us over some mock centerpieces and bouquets that she thought we would like - we could not believe our eyes at her work!
While planning the wedding, Peggy was always very responsive and easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Peggy and team were very reliable in dropping off items at both bride and grooms location, as well as, setting up at the venue! We would recommend Peggy over and over again for all your florist needs! -

Peggy & the team at Riverhead Flower Shop did an amazing job for our October wedding! We made an appointment and sent a few of our Pinterest ideas ahead of time. At our consultation, Peggy created a beautiful bouquet (even better than the pictures we showed her) for us and even special ordered a few flowers that were out of season to give us a better idea of what the bouquets would look like in October. She gave us some great ideas and was very responsive if we had to make any changes or had any questions. Everything arrived on time the morning of our wedding and Peggy & her team went above and beyond not only with the bouquets, but with setting up our centerpieces, arch flowers and aisle decorations. We would HIGHLY recommend Riverhead Flower Shop! -

Peggy was awesome to work with. She was super flexible and helped me create the vision I was looking for down to the last candle. Last-minute additions or changes were handled with ease. The arrangements were gorgeous and her designs were exactly what I envisioned for our wedding! -

My Minimony Floral Dream!
I highly recommend Peggy and the team at the Riverhead Flower Shop for your wedding flowers! I had some bouquets, table arrangements and wedding arch done for my small wedding ceremony and they were exactly what I wanted! We had to reschedule our large wedding reception and Peggy was super easy to work during this time of chaos. We cant wait to see what our flowers look like for our rescheduled wedding reception next year. -

Beautiful flowers- just what we were looking for!
We were so happy to have hired Riverhead Flower Shop to provide the flowers for our wedding! The bouquets, boutonnieres, and birch chuppah with floral accents were beautiful and perfectly fit the simple, rustic feel we were looking for. Not only were the flowers gorgeous, but Peggy was very accommodating during all of the changes we had to make during this tricky time. We are looking forward to working with her again next year for our reception! -

I would give Peggy and the staff of Riverhead Flower Shop 10 stars if I could. I walked in for my consult with the items i wanted to use in my centerpieces, but not having a clue what I wanted to do with them. Peggy literally ran around the shop, pulling different flowers and put the most beautiful centerpieces, bouquet I have ever seen. I left my consult with such peace of mind, knowing everything was going to be absolutely perfect. She was such a pleasure to work with, and as I expected, everything was more than perfect the wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough. -

October wedding
Found Riverhead flower shop on this website and saw a friend used also who highly recommended. It was easy to make an appointment I went in and met Peggy who looked at some photos of bouquets I had pinned on Pinterest and she instantly went to work creating a mock bouquet right there that day for me in the shop. It was gorgeous and just what I wanted! Peggy also took the time to make a mock centerpiece and went over some ideas with me on which flowers to use to stay within my budget. All contact with the shop was easy, any questions I had were answered promptly. Day of I was blown away with how beautiful everything came out! I have already recommended Riverhead flower shop to a few people and will continue to do so! -

Could not be happier with our wedding flowers. Peggy listened to what we wanted and designed beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. Our boutonnieres were totally custom and they rocked them! Thank you to everyone at the shop for making our day that much better! -

I know nothing about flowers, I can name about 5 types, and other flower shops left me feeling foolish for not knowing exactly what I was asking for - but not here. I showed her a few Pinterest photos of bouquets that I liked, and she quickly understood the look I was going for and even went into the back to mock up a sample bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets for me. I explained my idea for centerpieces to her as well and she gave us some great suggestions on how to make them look even better. The day of our wedding all of our bouquets and boutonnieres arrived on time and looked more beautiful than I could have imagined! I would highly recommend Peggy and Riverhead Flower Shop!

The initial consultation was professional and very helpful in assisting us to determine what we needed and where. Peggy was creative and followed my desired color scheme perfectly. The flowers in every arrangement were beautiful. I especially loved my bouquet! On our wedding day everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly. Elizabeth Sent on 10/14/2017I would definitely recommend the Riverhead Flower Shop. Peggy was extremely easy to work with and very helpful when I wasn't really sure what I wanted. Our venue was Martha Clara Vineyard, and Peggy made the suggestion that I should go with taller centerpeices to fill the room with such high ceilings. She was 100% right !! When I expressed that cost was a concern she was very flexible in helping me choose cost effective flowers while still getting the wow factor I had wanted. We loved working with great people during our wedding and thats exactly what you will get at RFS !!

Peggy did a FANTASTIC job with the florals for our wedding. She did a wonderful job with the centerpieces. It was exactly what we wanted and more. She also did a great job with bouquets, aisle pieces, and our wedding arch. She is very creative and has a great eye for color. Everything came together so nicely. Definitely recommend Riverhead Flower Shop for your wedding. -

Lauren Sent on 09/27/2016I was an out of town bride and Peggy was very open to sending a contract through email and phone. I sent her pictures of what I wanted through email and she made the bouquets beautiful. She actually made the bouquets much bigger than I expected. The bouquets were gorgeous! The payments were also split into three installments which made it helpful in managing my budget. I also thought last minute I wanted a floral piece for the alter (prior to learning that floral pieces are not allowed on alters) and Peggy was responsive and ready to provide me what I wanted for the budget I set. Riverhead flower shop also delivered from Riverhead to East Hampton for our ceremony. -
Caitlin Sent on 12/30/2017Going into my florist interviews I had a very clear vision as to what I wanted for the ceremony and the reception. In almost all of the interviews it didn't seem like the florist understood that vision. The only exception was Peggy--she went as far as to go in the back of the shop and make a mock bridal bouquet and it was perfect. She totally understood what I wanted and had the utmost confidence that she could bring it to life.
On the big day, I had a ceremony arch, bouquets/boutonnieres for the bridal party/family, and tall centerpieces for the reception made by Riverhead Flower Shop. Everything came out beautiful!! I received several compliments from people about just how stunning everything turned out and overall I was very happy.
There are only two minor complaints that I have. The first is that since Peggy primarily does the bookings for weddings, so if she isn't in the shop you have to rely on either email or another person to relay the message to her. This isn't always done in timely manner as I had to make a change a few months prior to the ceremony and it took weeks to get a hold of Peggy after numerous calls and emails. It all worked out, all is well that ends well, but I can see where this could be problematic. My second minor complaint is that I had given a picture of what I wanted in the bridal bouquet and the centerpieces with the instruction to add ivy as a draping effect. This was because my parents had ivy in their wedding and it was a way to incorporate a piece of them in my ceremony as well. When I met with Peggy she said that wouldn't be a problem and had even included ivy in the mock bridal bouquet. On the big day, the bouquets and centerpieces were exactly like the pictures...meaning there was no ivy. It was a small thing--literally the only person to notice it was me, but it was a little disappointing.
Overall they did a great job and were a huge contributing factor to my gorgeous wedding! -
