I can’t say enough good things about River Stone Manor. The property itself is absolutely stunning with the beautiful greenery, striking manor house, newly renovated banquet hall, the arbor overlooking the Mohawk. It’s like walking into a fairy tale. A true hidden gem!
All of the staff are absolutely amazing as well. Maureen made me feel calm and beautiful before walking down the aisle. Everyone was so friendly and supportive. The food was fantastic!! Definitely recommend attending the tasting event even if you’ve already picked your food because the chefs are masters at their craft and made food I typically would not touch (aka vegan and gluten free options) taste incredible!!
Special thank you to Ashley for taking care of us throughout the whole process. She was super responsive to our emails, met with us at set times to make sure we were on track, and the day of she made sure we were eating and having fun. Ashley is excellent at balancing the logistics with the personal touches and I’m so grateful to have worked with her to make our picture perfect, dream wedding come true!
The moment we set foot on River Stone Manor’s property we knew it was our venue. What we didn’t know was just how attentive, kind, caring, fun, and delicious the entire night would be. 10/10. My only hope is that my friends get married here too so I can keep coming back!

Beyond Our Expectations
River Stone Manor was absolutely incredible for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The grounds were in beautiful condition, and the updated aesthetic created such a gorgeous setting for our celebration. We were married in front of the fireplace, which made for the most warm and romantic backdrop.
Ashley Dariano was truly amazing to work with. She is kind, responsive, and exceptionally organized. She helped bring so many of our ideas to life and ensured everything stayed on track throughout the planning process and on the big day. We did not have a day-of planner, and our wedding still went off without a hitch, which is a huge testament to Ashley and her team.
The food was spectacular, and our guests are still talking about it. The Dijon chicken was a personal favorite, and we are so glad we added the late-night French fry station. It was such a hit.
We would highly recommend River Stone Manor to any couple looking for a beautiful venue, seamless execution, and an unforgettable experience

The Best Decision
River Stone Manor was our first venue that we viewed when looking, and it was our ONLY. Even before their new beautiful renovations, it was the easiest yes and it did not disappoint. The charm of the Manor House, the southern feel of the lawn, and the bright and clean feel in the ballroom felt like we had 3 different feels in one venue. Ashley the Event Specialist was an absolute rockstar from beginning to end. She truly made us feel so comfortable, and we trusted her fully. From the beginning meet, planning, and the day of- she was always there to offer help and she felt like a friend. On the most special day of your life, you need some one like Ashley to help everything go flawlessly and it did. Everyone raved about their meals, and I have been dreaming of the Blackened Mahi Mahi since. If you’re looking for the most unique venue in the Capital Region with amazing food and service- this is it. Dan and I only wish we could relive it one more time. Thank you for the best day of our lives.

We could not be happier with our experience at River Stone Manor! Ashley was absolutely amazing - we worked with her throughout the entire planning process, and she made everything so easy and fun. She was friendly, organized, responsive, paid attention to every single detail, and truly cared about making our day perfect.
The RSM staff went above and beyond. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and professional. The food and drinks were incredible, and we received so many compliments from our guests. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that made the perfect backdrop to our day.

The Perfect Wedding at River Stone Manor
We couldn’t have been happier with our experience with River Stone Manor. Ashley was amazing to work with (even our DJ told us multiple times how awesome she was to work with). Ashley and the staff were on top of everything and made it a stress free day for us. We used the manor house for our pictures and it was the perfect location to fit our vibe. The food was also amazing and we loved that they had a tasting event where we got to try the food before deciding what we wanted at our wedding. Incredible Wedding Venue
We toured multiple venues in the Albany area for our wedding and we are so happy that we chose River Stone. Our wedding was a perfect day and the venue, the wait staff, and our coordinator Ashley Dariano made it all possible. They just did renovations this year and the property is outstanding. We loved having our ceremony outdoors and then getting to have a climate controlled area for our dinner and reception. We would recommend anyone to have their wedding here!

She were professional, organized, and always available to answer questions or make adjustments. Every detail was carefully planned, ensuring that our vision came to life seamlessly. The wedding day itself was nothing short of magical. The venue’s setting, with its picturesque river views and beautifully maintained grounds, provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Everything ran on time, and the staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we (and our guests) had everything we needed. The food was absolutely incredible! Your perfect wedding day handled perfectly
My wife and I just had our wedding reception at River Stone Manor and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. We had been married the year before (eloped to Las Vegas), so this was more of our party for family and friends and also a one-year anniversary celebration. As such, we had some very untraditional ideas for the event. Our wedding planner at River Stone, Ashley Dariano, and all of the River Stone team were exceptional about listening to our vision for the evening (including a non-traditional group activity instead of a ceremony) and bringing it to life. Ashley took the time to ensure she fully understood how we wanted things to flow and delivered 1000%. She communicated with us regularly leading up to the event and, after our final pre-event meeting with her, we were so excited because we knew it was going to be handled perfectly. The one curveball we dealt with that day was the weather (we wanted an outdoor “ceremony” activity and had our reception in the beautiful tent area; however, the River Stone team did not allow Mother Nature to derail our day. As the weather changed, things were moved swiftly from outdoors to the tent and the tent itself was equipped to protect us from a brief thunderstorm. The food was amazing! So many great options and our guests said that our food selections – including the mac & cheese and taco bars – really represented who we were as people. It was a balance of classy and casual. The staff was so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond, constantly checking in with us. And when it came to “game time,” Ashley was a total BOSS. We did not see her STOP once. She was checking in with our guests, pouring champagne, picking up plates, overseeing the changes of the evening, and just making sure no detail was left unattended to. Our “wow” moment was when one of our guests, who struggles with extreme food allergies and prepared us that she probably wouldn’t be able to eat much, approached us and said, “I’ve never been able to eat this much at a wedding before!” The staff was so attentive to her needs – it blew us away. Our guests are STILL talking about how amazing our reception was. Thank you so much to Ashley and all of the River Stone team for making our day exactly as we imagined it!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with our coordinator Ashley at River Stone Manor. She is highly engaged, professional, and organized. Her consistent quick responsiveness to emails and phone calls was a huge help in calming wedding nerves! As for the venue itself, also amazing!! We did not interact with a single staff member that wasn't completely kind and polite to not only us but our guests as well. The food was INCREDIBLE - the many reviews we had read prior to booking that raved about the food were 100% spot on. We ended up having a beautiful fall day and the picturesque grounds made our ceremony completely unforgettable. We highly recommend!!

Having our wedding at River Stone Manor was the best choice we could have made! It was the only venue that me and my husband both loved. The Manor House makes an amazing backdrop, and the rest of the landscaping is beautiful, as well. It truly feels like an elegant and timeless outdoor setting that’s even better in person. With all the space they have, we were able to get ready and have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in different locations on the property! Not only that, but so many people told us “this is the best wedding food we’ve ever had”- there were so many menu choices it was hard to decide! To top it off, Skip and Ashley were very organized, thought two steps ahead at all times, and accommodated the wedding party throughout the day with food/drinks. They helped us feel so at ease leading up to and on the day itself. I can’t say enough about them or recommend this venue more!

Pandemic Wedding
The second I got engaged, in 2018, I knew from their photos I wanted to get married at Riverstone. My now husband and I toured several other local venues and Riverstone won by far. We wanted an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. I used the manor house to get ready, we were married outside by the river, had cocktail hour in their beautiful terrace tent and then a reception in the air conditioned ballroom. All finally happened a year after our original wedding date due to Covid restrictions. Dealing with a pandemic as a bride was not easy, dealing with a pandemic as a business owner in the wedding industry must have been unimaginable. Skip did a great job of staying in touch, keeping our contract, and assuring me of every detail even though I was falling apart. There were several wedding planners to walk us through details and a fantastic day of coordinator to make everything run smoothly. The food was delicious and their menu options are constantly growing. The venue was gorgeous and well-kept. I cannot thank Skip and his team enough. A special shout out to Skip's dog, Mr. Wilson, who helped us plan the whole wedding.

A Beautiful Wedding, Even in a Pandemic
My husband and I chose to get married during a pandemic. The good news? Pretty much any date we wanted was available!
The hard news? We had government requirements about how many people could attend, health requirements, masked servers, hand sanitizers set out as favors for the guests, and no dancing. We also opted to have our wedding and reception outside to help guests to feel more spaced out and comfortable with Covid concerns. The outdoor tent was a beautiful space for our reception on a lovely fall day.
River Stone Manor was so flexible with us a we sought to have a beautiful ceremony in a difficult time. My family could not decide where the bride and bridesmaids were going to get ready. We ultimately ended up requesting to rent a space to get ready in the Manor. Skip made this happen, even at the last minute. He had delicious mimosas provided for us, as well as a small smattering of snacks. Our hairdresser was able to come and style all bridesmaid's hair just before the ceremony. It ended up feeling like a little party of close friends and family before the grander party.
Our meals were incredible. My husband and I especially enjoyed the vegetable risotto that we selected for an appetizer. Our food was warm and delicious, servers were friendly, and Skip and other leaders were flexible and helpful in providing suggestions and guidance as we made our decisions. We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding at River Stone Manor. We are so thankful for all of your hard work.

We got married last weekend at River Stone Manor and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome of our wedding. Skip and Samantha at River Stone were EXCELLENT in terms of helping us organize the perfect reception. They were extremely responsive and professional. The outside area there is beautiful, right along the river. The inside banquet hall is also beautiful. The food was AMAZING! Our guests still continue to comment on their delicious food! We would definitely recommend this to others for any type of wedding, showers, parties, etc. We absolutely plan on holding future events here. Thank you again!! :)

Our wedding was so special! Skip is the ultimate professional and his venue is absolutely perfect for an outside wedding! I have had so many people tell me that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. We just went back and renewed our vows ten years later! They now are even serving dinner in the terrace where we had our reception. The grounds are still magnificent a decade later! We will be back to have the delicious food at the restaurant again! 💕

Cannot say enough kind things for Skip, Rena, Maureen, and the River Stone Manor They made our daughter Rebecca's wedding the most fabulous event imaginable. Their attention to detail and pride in the facility showed thru in every aspect from prior to the ceremony in the manor house, the ceremony, to cocktails in the tent thru to the reception in their gorgeous ballroom. The food was exceptional. All our guests were so very complimentary. Even though we had planned on an outdoor ceremony, they had a plan with options which were as beautiful. The best of everything!
Hard to know where to start with complimenting River Stone Manor... We heard good things and read positive reviews, but nothing compared to actually hosting our wedding there to know how true it all was! Rena Gallup, venue coordinator, worked with us throughout the year including visiting the venue, emails and answering countless questions. We had sit-down meetings with both her and Skip (owner), who truly complement each other well. They listened to our vision and made it happen both aesthetically and logistically. Almost every guest commented on the food quality... one guest who works in the restaurant business said it was the best cocktail hour food he'd ever had (book the Terrace Tent for this if you can!), and many loved the unique, seasonal side dishes that came alongside the perfectly cooked meat. The River Stone staff literally couldn't have done anything to make our day any more perfect, and we are forever grateful to them!

Absolutely perfect wedding. From the bridal party getting ready in the manor house, to the ceremony by the water, on to the cocktail hour in the tent and finishing with the reception in the main dining hall. Beautiful - they made everything just perfect - everyone should be lucky enough to have this for their daughter.

Having our wedding at the riverstone manor was by far the best decisions my husband and I made while planning our wedding. The planning and coordinating staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and this waterfront venue is perfect for any wedding theme or style!

The River Stone Manor is truly a hidden gem in the capital region. Some venues may be more popular or well known, and some will definitely charge you more to feel 'elite', but the River Stone Manor is a gorgeous venue with a fantastic staff, and is reasonably priced to boot. My wife and I were married there on October 21st, 2017, and the entire experience with River Stone was nothing short of perfection. Skip, Renee, and the entire staff were there every step of the way to support our wedding - both in the months leading to it as well as during the actual ceremony and reception. If you are planning to have your ceremony at the same venue as the reception, and want an outdoor ceremony, there is no better choice than River Stone. Book soon, before more people discover this hidden gem, and Skip finally realizes he can raise his prices. :)

If you want a stress free, breathtaking ceremony and reception then Riverstone Manor is the place to go! We cannot say enough about Skip, Rena and Maureen. They take care of every little detail so you can fully enjoy your day. (We brought extra decorations, they put them out.) Everything was packed up promptly the next day. The ceremony started on time to the minute! Skip even managed to get a helicopter ride for us, complete with decorated golf cart next door at Octoberfest. We even enjoyed their fireworks! Nothing is too much for the Riverstone staff. Easy to work with, phenomenal food and a friendly and caring staff. We booked the manor house for pre wedding and the terrace tent for cocktail hour. Definitely the way to go! If you want as close to perfect as you can get, book them now!

Skip, Rena, Maureen, and the entire team at River Stone Manor were absolutely amazing to work with and helped ensure a perfect wedding day for us! My bridesmaids and I got ready in the manor house, we had the ceremony on the lawn, the cocktail hour in the terrace tent, and the reception in the ballroom. Everything throughout the entire day ran extremely smoothly and just as planned due to the professionalism and diligence of the entire staff. The whole team was a pleasure to work with every step of the way in the planning process by offering their suggestions, accommodating all of our changes, and delivering everything above and beyond what we could have hoped for! The setting of this venue is gorgeous, the staff is beyond attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious - you can't go wrong here!

Skip and Renee were so wonderful throughout the planning process and the day of! Skip, the owner, helped us pick a menu that fit our budget and Renee was very responsive to all my emails and questions. The day of every staff member was friendly and smiling and Renee checked on us often at our sweetheart table which was so nice! They also helped us coordinate the sparkler send off. Beautiful grounds and patio during cocktail hour; the ballroom was beautiful with the full wall of windows facing the river. I can't wait to see all the pictures of the day!

We visited River Stone manor on a recommendation from a friend. As soon as we saw the ceremony space and the outside terrace tent we fell in love. Thankfully when we looked at the costs it was in our budget as well! Meeting with Renee and Skip leading up to the wedding was very helpful. Renee really thought of every detail even when we didn't. Every step of the way we felt like the options were limitless and River Stone was willing to accommodate whatever we desired to make our wedding day perfect.
River Stone's truly immaculate outside area allowed us to have our entire wedding, ceremony and reception, outside just as we had dreamed. The weather forecast called for a small chance of scattered showers. We discussed a whole contingency plan with River Stone the day before in the event we wanted to move the ceremony and/or the reception inside to the banquet hall. As luck would have it just as our ceremony was starting it began to rain. We still wanted to finish the ceremony outside even if it was lightly raining. Skip was quick to act passing out umbrellas to our guests who were already seated. He even walked beside the bride as she made her way down the aisle with an umbrella covering her. Despite the brief rain shower the ceremony went on and everything was very memorable and beautiful.
The outside terrace tent looked amazing and thankfully it stopped raining shortly after we concluded the ceremony. With the sides to the tent removed letting the breeze and sun right into the reception area, everything looked and felt amazing, which was just what we wanted.
Leading up to our wedding, anyone who we met that had been to River Stone before would always mention how great the food was. River Stone's excellent food reputation is well earned. Most guests had an entree of Grilled Salmon or Sliced Strip Steak. Guests raved about both in addition to the assortment of appetizers they enjoyed. Our wedding was amazing in large part due to River Stone's beauty and excellence.

Everything went so smoothly during our wedding, thanks to their organization and just being on top of everything. I really don't think me or my husband had a stressful moment throughout the whole reception. And a big plus? They ran everything so well that we got to eat our food and visit with all the guests! this is the place to go if you want the Best! The staff is amazing. they are attentive and do there very best to make your day magical. the food is to be honest some of the best food I have ever eaten. The guests raved about it. They move the reception along at a good pace giving ample time between courses for the bride and groom to make there visits to each table and get back to their table to eat their food. the cost was reasonable and for what we got was well worth the price per plate that we paid. You will not go wrong with Riverstone Manor!

When we first set foot on River Stone Manor, we immediately fell in love with the gorgeous grounds and location of this beautiful venue. Situated along the Mohawk Hudson River surrounded by trees and a well manicured lawn and gardens, we knew right away that the owner and staff here take pride in this facility. Skip, the Owner, and Rena, the Banquet Manager met with us initially and in every step of the process and were so helpful. We rented the beautiful historical Manor House so that I and my matron of honor could get ready prior to the ceremony. This, as it turns out, is Skip's residence and was absolutely stunning inside. Rena and Skip were both working at our wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. Rena checked on me frequently during the pre-ceremony prep to make sure we had everything we need. We had our ceremony on the lawn in front of the river and the reception under the tent. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour and food at the reception. This place is a gem and our wedding was picture perfect. Thank you Skip and Rena!

My husband I recently got married at River Stone Manor. There are no words to express how happy we are that we chose River Stone Manor as our venue.
Skip and Renee were the most amazing people to work with. They were professional, responsive and extremely flexible. The whole time they treated us like family.
The manor house was the perfect place to get ready, the grounds were gorgeous, the fire pit was awesome and the tent and banquet hall are absolutely beautiful. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!! Our guests are still raving about how phenomenal the food was!!
The day of the wedding the RSM staff took care of every little detail. We were able to enjoy our wedding with all of our guests. We had so much fun-everything was perfect! We cannot thank Skip and Renee enough for making our wedding the best day ever!

My husband and I just got married here and there aren't enough words to describe how happy we are that we chose this venue! Skip and his crew are the most incredible people you will ever work with, and they not only treat you like family, but like royalty. The grounds are breathtaking, the manor house is stunning, and the tent and reception hall are simply beautiful. And the food! Every single one of our guests continues to rant and rave about the food! If you haven't chosen a venue yet, please don't look any further. You will not regret Riverstone. It will blow you away and give you one of the best days of your lives. Planning a wedding is stressful, but the day it arrives the staff take care of everything, and you get to sit back, take a deep breath and finally enjoy your day. I would rate Riverstone Manor 10 stars. Not only is the venue soo beautiful but the owner and manager is amazing. Working with Skip and Renee made everything a breeze. Our wedding day was beautifull and perfect and I couldn't ask for anything more. The food was amazing and the bar fully stoked with whatever your taste may prefer! I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Skip, Patty, Maureen, and all the staff at River Stone Manor! We were so impressed with the beautiful grounds, their professionalism, and Patty was so on top of everything throughout the entire process. She caught errors that I made in my seating plan when we were getting in our invites and so calmly noted them and clarified the correct seating (you will see how hard it is once those Rsvp's come in late, change, family decide they don't like each other anymore, etc and have to make changes). I was also so incredibly pleased that they treated us like this was their own wedding - I can only imagine that with the number of years that they've all been doing this that our wedding could be "just another gig" but I never in any way felt anything except special and treated like this really was our big day. We had a "rain delay" with our ceremony and they were AMAZING at accommodating moving our outdoor ceremony to the terrace tent seamlessly, and the kitchen managed it all incredibly - the food was so delicious, I keep hearing about it from our guests. Patty, Skip, and Maureen were so kind throughout the entire process. If anyone in my family or my friends were going to get married or have any major event, I wouldn't even look anywhere else. Our wedding was on 7/9/2016.

After 26 years of serving this great country in the United States Navy, my wife and I decided to call it a day and retire. We could not have found a better place to hold our retirement party than the River Stone Manor. Skip and his staff were beyond exceptional!!! We are still receiving raves from family and friends about the food, atmosphere, service, just everything. If i had to pick a venue all over again I would pick River Stone Manor each and every time. The owner Skip has a beautiful location and goes above and beyond to make sure the whole day if perfect. Patricia Grassi also is amazing and we spoke with her the most on every little detail. She also made the day feel like it was out of a fairytale and we had no worries whatsoever that day.
Our guests loved the food and left almost every plate clean! The waitstaff was very professional, along with the ladies who helped to set up the Manor House for me and the bridal party. Caitlin and Maureen were very helpful and made sure that the whole ceremony went smoothly.
The whole day was perfect and we cannot say enough nice things about River Stone and the staff here. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for their perfect fairytale wedding!

The staff at River Stone Manor was absolutely wonderful, our wedding was far from conventional and they worked with us all the way through it. Ship helped us to work within our budget and to create a menu that worked for us. Patty is great with the bride to be, she makes the process so simple and easy, she walks you through the whole process. Caitlyn was absolutely wonderful the night of the wedding. She made sure everything went smoothly and perfect! Of course Skip and Patty checked in on us too. Our guests were extremely happy with the wait staff and the quality of food. The bartender was very good, he kept up with our guests and made sure the bride and groom had a drink when needed.
We can't thank all the staff at River Stone Manor enough for making our night PERFECT!

I cannot express enough how wonderful the staff was during our whole wedding planning experience. From Patty and Skip helping us along the way to Kaitlyn and Maureen adding their assistance in the last couple of weeks, they were all tremendous! I got ready in the manor, We had our ceremony under the shade of the trees, cocktail hour in the tent and reception in the hall. I heard all good things about the transition of the whole day. River Stone Manor is absolutely gorgeous - nestled on the banks of the Mohawk River, shaded by massive trees with every shade of green imaginable surrounding you with beautiful landscaping all around, it's nothing short of idyllic. The food was absolutely fabulous - our guests raved about how tasty and plentiful everything was. Skip, Patty and the rest of the team were incredibly accommodating, both in the planning process and on the day of the event - everything was flexible, nothing was too much trouble, and they were just so nice to work with that my stress just melted away. I think the number of highly rated reviews for River Stone Manor sort of speak for themselves. We recently had our ceremony and reception here and you could not pick a better venue. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The grounds are truly breaktaking. One visit to their property and you will fall in love. They do an especially great job of keeping it maintained and pristine year round. The staff is exceptional. Whether you're working with Skip, Patti or anyone else there you will be impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and execution. We were especially thankful for their willingness to be flexible in terms of menu options and package details. Trust me, you will not find that at other venues. Skip and his team become locked in to make sure that every detail is exactly what you want. Also, we went with many of their recommended vendors (cake, DJ, Photographer and Officiant) who were all 5 star professionals. The food is fantastic. Every one of our guests made a comment about how much they enjoyed the menu. River Stone offers many choices and they are extremely senstive and flexible to allergies and special requests. We would highly recommend having your special day at the River Stone Manor.

River Stone Manor was the most beautiful venue we could ever have envisioned. We had the the most gorgeous day and the grounds at River Stone were unbelievable. We were there just a few days before our wedding and there was a grounds crew ensuring the place looked just perfect. Skip and Patty were so responsive throughout the entire planning process, and especially throughout our wedding day/night. To begin our day, My bridesmaids and I used the manor house to prepare for the day with some champagne and wine, where Maureen made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everything ran smoothly and was completely organized from the ceremony on the grounds, the cocktail hour in the tent, to the reception in the banquet hall. I NEVER had to think about time, or worry about anything because River Stone kept the day moving. Patty even came up to me during cocktail hour and asked if the groom and I wanted a plate of hors d'oeuvres, and quickly returned with them. She couldn't have been more responsive, professional, and willing to go above and beyond for us. The groom and I wanted to take a photo with the fire pit lit later in the night, and Skip was able to make that wish come true. The waitstaff and bartenders were exceptional and also extremely responsive! Our guests were raving about the quality of the food, as well as how immaculate the grounds were!

We were married at River Stone Manor on 10/12/14. From the moment we stepped foot the gorgeous grounds we knew this was the place! It had all uniqueness we were looking for. The ceremony location on the Mohawk river is beautiful, the Terrace Tent with fire pit so cool, the Manor house was a perfect place to get ready in, and renovated ballroom was perfect. Skip, Patty, and Maureen were wonderful through the whole process. Easy to communicate with, work with, and at your beckon call from the beginning stages of our wedding to end of the reception.They truly helped make our wedding magical. It was more spectacular then we ever imagined! And the food....oh the food. Everything was wonderful. People still talk about how great the food was. Skip and his team will far exceed your expectations.

Skip was phenomenal to work with! He went above and beyond with help whenever we needed something. Our wedding was early and he was up at sunrise blowing the walkways after a thunderstorm so there wasn't any debris around. Great food and the staff was very nice!!

Both our ceremony and reception took place at River Stone Manor. The staff was so helpful thru out the whole process. The day of the wedding, we were worried about the weather, but Skip had everything planned out perfectly for us. He had a perfect backup plan if the weather did not permit. The cocktail hour was amazing, food was great, awesome friendly service by all the staff. We couldn't have chosen any other place for the most important day of our lives. We are so happy we chose River Stone Manor to get married and have def. recommended to our friends.

It just does not get better than Skip Sgarlata & the team at Riverstone manor . Skip gave my husband and I the best wedding gift of all .... a flawless, fairytale wedding full of laughter, perfect and eloquent execution, and phenomenal food.
I cannot begin to express my love for the venue and team. After setting one foot on Skip's lawn, I knew this is where I wanted to start our "happily ever after". Skip made every single one of our dreams come true. The entire team was so attentive, and so in-tune to our guests catering to their every need. More importantly we trusted Skip and the team ... I had all the confidence in the world they would execute on every element of our wedding. Turns out, they went above and beyond!
The grounds were beautifully manicured, and all guests were in awe of their surroundings ... a true gem tucked away in quiet Glenville, NY. Food was such an important element of our wedding, and Skip and his chefs blew it out of the water! The cocktail hour was incredible, and not a single person was left hungry. They struggled to find room in their stomachs for dinner ... but once the entrees came out, they found a way!
We have now been married 14 days and we are still receiving rave reviews about Skip, his team and the venue.... our guests have never seen such a gorgeous location, or received service at a wedding to that caliber. Many have never ever had a meat dish that delicious!

Skip, Deanna and Patty were amazing in every way! In our initial meeting where they just showed us the beautiful grounds and gave us our options for food, we were blown away by the venue itself, which is immaculate! It sits on the banks of the Mohawk River, with gorgeous trees and a rolling lawn where our ceremony was held. The rock garden, with beautiful stonework surrounding a fire pit and stream, makes a cozy place to sit with friends as the evening progresses. They do have a gorgeous ballroom for those needing a larger space than we did for our small wedding, but our reception was held in their permanent tent, with stone floor and permanent bar/bathrooms/etc. Uplighting in the tent is gorgeous, and they were able to close the sides as the evening cooled down, providing maximum comfort for us and all our guests. The food was amazing, and the staff was extremely attentive. Did I mention that the food was amazing? It bears repeating!!! And really, I didn't worry about anything the whole day - they executed every detail down to things that may have seemed minor to others, but were important to me. I could not recommend them more highly.

I fell in love with River Stone on my first visit. The girls Patty and Deanna were great through out the whole wedding process. Wedding was the most perfect day, I felt like a princess. I can't thank Riverstone Manor enough for our wonderful wedding reception. I worked with Skip, Patty, and Deanna and they are all just so wonderful. They are very on top of things and I felt like I was working with real professionals. They really understand the wedding business and I feel like they really know how to take care of their brides and grooms. The venue is just beautiful and the grounds are kept well to the point of being almost immaculate. And the scenery by the water is just amazing. The bathrooms are clean and pretty, and the tent and banquet hall are classy and elegant. And the FOOD!!! The food is so very goods. The hor d'oeuvres, the appetizers, the entrees...they were all amazing! The service is outstanding as well! It's hard to find time to eat and drink when your busy thanking and talking to your guests, but there was always someone on staff checking on us and bringing us things. I am so happy that we chose Riverstone!

My hubby and I were married on site here, and had our reception in the tent. The wedding was more then i could of ever imagined. It's a beautiful site, well taken care of, nice workers , and the price was low for what you get. Also rented out the manor house for 2 hours so my bridal party and i could get ready. Price was decent as well, considering we got wine and snacks. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was wonderful...I have no complaints. Just be sure to book early, this place is popular!!!

River Stone was the first venue my husband and I looked at and it was all I needed. It was love at first sight for both of us. From the outdoor ceremony location, the beautifully kept grounds, the immaculate large tent for the cocktail hour and the large and classic ballroom, it was awe- inspiring to have my vintage-inspired wedding here! Our engagement was 18 months long, allowing every detail to come to fruition. The owner and manager, Skip and Patty, were along for the ride and were always accommodating, pleasant and I never felt like a “customer,” rather a guest they couldn’t wait to have in their “home!” The visits to River Stone for planning were always fun, relaxed and productive. I never felt stressed and always felt as though this was truly going to be our dream wedding. On October 6th, it was just that and MORE! We had an experience most Brides and Grooms dream of. Everyone STILL talks about how amazing everything was; from the atmosphere, the professionalism, the food, the details, our band (NY Players), our Photobooth (Casey Connell) and the Fireworks! Throughout the actual day off, the River Stone staff worked great with my other vendors, and made every experience for every guest memorable and enjoyable. The cocktail hour food was to die for, as was the mail meal! The grounds were beautiful and are an incredible backdrop for our memories. I recommend River Stone to anyone and if I could, I would hold my wedding over and over and not change a thing!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Riverstone. It really is a very beautiful setting, and surprisingly on July 8th, there was a nice breeze by the river, and through the ceremony and cocktail hour (outside) my guests and myself were very comfortable. We worked with Amber mostly, she was always very helpful, and always responded to my phone calls/messages. We wanted a different set up than the typical event there, and Skip and Amber both worked with me to create something that was practical and what I wanted, they arranged the room about a month in advance, to make sure that everything fit where it was supposed to, and on the day of, it was exactly how I wanted it. I really can't say enough good things about the team there, they were extremely nice to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone. Now for the food... I will preface by saying that we had a couple of guest who are the pickiest people in the universe, and whenever we go out with them, there is ALWAYS something wrong with what they ordered. After the wedding, these people RAVED about the food! It was incredible. The appetizers, hor d'vors, and the entrees were spectacular, we had so many people comment on how delicious the food was! We had the tilapia matanzas, and it was the most delicious thing ever!
Patty was there on the day of our wedding, and she is the sweetest thing! She made sure that everyone had everything that they needed, and her and Skip did an amazing job coordinating all of our vendors. My favorite thing about the Riverstone would have to be, that table by table, both Skip and Patty welcomed our guests, and made sure that everyone's food was perfect, and that everyone was taken care of. I really liked that, and there are so many places that don't take the time to do those little things that make all the difference. I can't say enough good things about it, they are responsive, flexible, and extremely pleasant to work with! Thank you Skip, Patty, and Amber!

I instantly fell in love with Riverstone Manor upon seeing their website, and it was even better in person. Skip and his crew were so accommodating with all of the different options they offer for both the ceremony and reception. They had no problem working with my tight budget, the ceremony and reception looked lavish and expensive and all of the guests raved from start to finish. All of my questions were answered whether it was a quick phone call to them or during one of our meetings together to finalize plans. They had set up a payment plan from the first meeting to a few weeks before the wedding, so that way, everything was done and we could just enjoy the event. They offer so many options, just ask and they will find a way to make it work with you!

Not only is River Stone Manor a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and reception, the staff is phenomenal and leave the bride and groom care-free all night. Everyone keeps telling my husband and I that our wedding was the best they have ever been to, and I know most of that is due to our fabulous venue. Even in the wake of the destruction of the flooding caused by hurricane Irene which covered the grounds, the staff worked with us to make sure our outdoor ceremony was as beautiful as it would have been if nothing happened. The staff at River Stone are clearly seasoned professionals at running events, and knew how to keep our evening moving and keep our guests happy!
The food is amazing (I sampled each of our meal options)! So delicious! I only heard good things about the food all night! We were impressed when the staff kept our meals in the kitchen until we were ready to break from mingling at tables, but we were even more impressed when we later heard they did the same thing for some of our guests that were away from there seats. Everyone had a hot meal and everyone was happy!
The staff worked well with our other vendors and the entire wedding flowed without a hitch. It was such a perfect day and I would highly recommend this location!

My wedding date was 9-10-11. Yes the BIG DATE of the YEAR! With knowing that, I got the ball rolling quick! I wanted the best of the best.. and I would not settle for anything else! My husband and I immediately starting shopping venues. I went here and there nothing did it for me. All the "it" places in the area were dumpy.. needed to be upgraded... chipped paint in the ball room etc... NEXT! After a frustrating conversation with a dear friend, RiverStone Manor was recommended to us.. talk about a breath of fresh air! The grounds were immaculate, the room was SO clean, the landscaping was so perfect, the tent.. PERFECT! Then the staff.. WOW! My first visit I was blessed to have met Patti and Amber. Amazing ladies, with great patience and very very accomodating! We knew immediately that this was our venue! We had booked RiverSTone 2 year before our date! Each and every time I called with a question.. it was handled as if my date was the following day! Now to fast forward to the week of.. I was one of many brides who were effected by the flood. I was devastated, absolutely besides myself, in tears each and everyday. Skip (the owner) assured me he will do everything in his power to fix the problem and I will have my wedding there, not to worry. Of course I worried.. for no reason at all! I am not sure how they all did it, but the day of my wedding, you would never have known there was over 6 feet of water in the parking lot! I called the town, I spoke to the police, I spoke to firemen, etc. they all said.. if Skip Scarlatta (sorry about the spelling) is handing this.. you are more than fine! He gets the job done! One milion percent the truth! We had the wedding of our dream, food is delicious, room was gorgeous, everything was so great! Love RiverStone.. hopefully we will be having a baby shower there soon :)

I don't think 5 stars accurately described our experience at River Stone. We pulled our wedding together in 6 months and I can't imagine ever wanting to have a wedding ceremony or reception anywhere else. We planned our ceremony outside by the river, but Mother Nature didn't cooperate at the last minute and it poured. Skip and his staff moved all of our guests inside within 5-10 minutes and we had the ceremony in the ballroom. I was disappointed we couldn't be outside, but my guests RAVED about the ceremony and how they loved being inside the ballroom with the air conditioning (it was also the hottest and most humid day in July). The food and service was far superior to any wedding we've ever been to and I have heard nothing but praise from everyone who attended, even those who are not shy about voicing negative opinions. Other than marrying my husband, choosing River Stone was the best decision I ever made!

The Staff at River Stone Manor was a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and did everything they could to make sure that we were happy and had everything we needed during our wedding. Their facility and grounds are absolutly breathtaking. All of our guests kept coming up to us and commenting on how beautiful our wedding was and how great the food was. They treated every one of our guests with respect and made sure that everyone was safe while having a great time. It was truely a magical night...and we are so happy with our decision to have our cermony and reception at River Stone. We have absolutly nothing to complain about...everything was wonderful!

We fell in love with the Riverstone Manor as soon as we saw it beautiful scenery the reception area was very accomadating to all of the guests, the staff went up and beyond, I got ready their and all the girls also were their and
the staff was at our beck and call that morning whatever we wanted or need they were there to give it to us, Our Ceremony was outside and they were very accomadating to all guests as well as all involved in the wedding. I would highly recommend the River Stone Manor

I knew that I only had 14 months to book my wedding and this was where we wanted it. We went and met with our coordinator and were so impressed that we booked it that very day. We had absolutely no problems what so ever in regards to the River Stone and if I had to do it all over again I definately would

I can't say enough about River Stone Manor. From the moment my husband and I arrived at the venue, we fell in love. Skip & his team were very accommodating and helped us have the perfect day. As the wedding got closer, I must have called them at least once a day & every time they were welcoming, kind and helpful. Our food tasting was amazing; we had a hard time picking which dinner we wanted for ourselves because they were all soooo amazing. They were also willing to help accommodate us for our one guest with diet restrictions; Rather than making us choose a vegetarian entre for that one person, they allowed us to pick the 3 entrees we wanted, and then they made one dish veggie. We had our "final meeting" a few days before the wedding so that we could drop off all the décor and finalize all the details. After the meeting I felt like a huge weight had been lifted because everything was essentially done. At the rehearsal, Skip talked us all through every step and we did a run through of the actual ceremony. We rented the Manor House prior to the ceremony for the ladies to get ready in and the staff was so helpful. They provided light snacks and wine/drinks for us. They completely eliminated any nerves that I had about the day because they are so thorough and they guide through the entire day. We had our ceremony outside by the river and it was absolutely gorgeous. The only difficult part was that there's a very slight slope you have to walk down during the processional, but thankfully there weren't any incidents. They do provide golf cart transportation for guests who are unable to walk over themselves. After the ceremony we moved inside to the ballroom where everything was amazing! The team made sure we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be there. Everyone raved about their food and how beautiful the site was. After the reception, they were very helpful in cleaning up. We had an amazing experience with them and would definitely recommend the site and team.

Beautiful place! New carpet!!! :-) Amazing people! The food was also GREAT! Skip is always available and willing to help but he forgets sometimes what he say so just make sure he writes everything down while he talks and adds to the contrat if it's possible. Otherwise, I had an amazing time!!!

The Perfect September Day
River Stone Manor has got to be the best kept secret in the capital region! We booked our wedding under the previous ownership in November of 2022 - When the venue was sold in summer 2023, we were immediately nervous that there would be changes that would impact our vision for our wedding. However, those changes ended up being positives, in the form of a beautifully updated ballroom. We were thankful that Ashley continued in her coordinator role, as she is a rock star - So easy to work with and an incredibly kind person that wants to help couples have the day they envision. A slight shift in construction scheduling meant that the new cocktail hour space was not finished for our wedding, but those of you that book in the future are so lucky to have that as an option as the renderings look beautiful. All of the staff were incredible - a huge shout out to Sarah as she was so much fun while we were getting ready at the manor house and made me feel very relaxed. The day flowed like we imagined, the scenery was breathtaking, and the food was delicious. My husband is allergic to wheat, and the chef created gluten free options no problem, without sacrificing quality or taste. The parlor was a great spot for my husband and his groomsmen to gather before our first look, and a spot for us to keep our belongings during the wedding. If you're looking for a waterfront ceremony location that is bright and beautiful, we would wholeheartedly recommend River Stone Manor.

Amazing venue for a fall wedding reception!
The folks at River Stone did an amazing job with our wedding reception. It is a very private venue, so we were not worried about outsiders crashing and the staff was solely focused on our day. We were lucky to have beautiful weather so we could enjoy all the outdoor space. We had cocktail hour in the tent and dinner and dancing in the ballroom. The fire pit was a fun way to keep people warm on an October evening and our guest really enjoyed it. The food at cocktail hour was so good everyone thought that was then entire wedding! Dinner was also great. We tried the beef, chicken and salmon entrees and they were all wonderful. The whole night was perfect and that is because they really care about putting on a great event. This place is a gem and you really get a lot of value for what they provide. They worked so hard to make our guests feel welcome. We had the best wedding reception and choosing the River Stone was why!

We had a great experience at River Stone Manor. We used it for our reception only. Rena and Skip are very professional and make sure everything looks fantastic on the wedding day. They are also very kind and put you at ease. The guests were delighted with the beautiful grounds and it allowed an opportunity for guests who wanted to talk with each other without the loud music to do so, while others who wanted to dance inside could do so. It was the best of both worlds. I would definitely recommend this place!
