Wow! I would highly recommend Rick and his team for events big and small. We had him at a smaller event and the DJ services and Photo Booth honestly made the event a success. Photo Booth was worth every penny to add on- it provided a really fun interactive element. Rick will match services with no pressure to your event and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. Pricing is more than fair to be honest. Professional, on time, excellent communication- as someone who plans a lot of events, it was reassuring to know to timelines, what we were getting for the cost and truly we got even more than we expected! Even more importantly Rick is just a really nice guy and a pleasure to work with, and that makes a huge difference when planning a fun event:) He makes it fun and the event felt far less stressful knowing it was in his hands.

Rick's team is amazing! They were so communicative during the whole process. Rick answered all of our questions in lots of detail which was very helpful! At Shupe Homestead, they are a preferred vendor and we understand why! Cyrus was a lot of fun and danced with us on the dance floor and showed us line dances! We included a photo booth, which was great! We had our guests make a scrapbook and we got digital copies of them as well. We should have been more clear about the little details we wanted, but it was a great experience! -

A million thanks to Rick and the whole Rickochet Entertainment team! They were listed as a preferred vendor for the Shupe Homestead, and we are so happy we chose them for our wedding day. We received some special Shupe venue discounts, which made them very affordable, and we were given immediate access to the planning portal, where we could add songs to our playlist 24/7. Rick was very kind and informative. The last call right before the wedding, when we reviewed the timeline for the day, was so helpful. Rick was our DJ on the day of our wedding, and it went smoothly- one little blip with the photobooth date being wrong on the first few printouts, but they noticed it and fixed it for the rest, and within our scrapbook. A huge thank you for running the mics, ceremony, dinner, dancing music, and the photobooth. It was one of the best days of our lives!! -

Rick and Cyrus were so wonderful to work with. Rick talked with us to make sure he understood what vibe we wanted on our dancefloor/dinner, and he completely crushed it. Cyrus kept the crowd dancing and enjoying the evening, and I even had one guest say they had never danced so much at a wedding before! Overall couldn't recommend this company enough. From the price, to the communication, to putting it all together for our wedding, it was exactly what we were hoping for. -

Rickochet Entertainment did a fantastic job on our big day. We got married at the Wellshire Event Center, where Rickochet is a highly experienced and trusted vendor. Rick, the owner, brings so much genuine care and positive energy to every interaction. He walks you through every step, has an answer for every question, and takes the time to really get to know you. They also have a super user-friendly platform that helps you customize your soundtrack to a tee and plan for every variable you could think of.
On the big day, we were lucky enough to get DJ Cyrus. He was unbelievable! We got so many compliments about how great our DJ was. He has an impeccable ability to “read the room” and keep the whole crowd dancing for hours on end. Beyond that, he was a great emcee that not only got the crowd riled up, but helped coordinate the schedule and people throughout the night to keep everything running smooth. The timing, choreography, and mic coordination was totally seamless. The ceremony soundtrack was of course executed perfectly as well.
A major highlight of the night for our guests was the photobooth, which was shockingly cheap to add on. They provide an awesome attendant, lots of props, and great souvenirs for guests (plus you get digital copies of all pictures which were so fun to look at)
Rickochet Entertainment is a slam dunk for your wedding DJ services—especially if it’s at the Wellshire.

Cyrus and Sydni from Rickochet Entertainment were the most amazing vendors on our special day! DJ Cyrus was so accommodating and kept the party alive all night with his very open communication style. His upbeat vibe and heartfelt personality will forever be remembered! Sydni ran the Photo Booth and was so sweet and patient with everyone, putting a smile on everyone's face. With high quality work and fun props included, this was definitely a memorable experience for everyone. DJ Cyrus even stayed longer and played extra/requested songs. I would recommend Rickochet Entertainment every time! -

Rickochet entertainment did a fantastic job at our wedding - Rick played great music - a mix of older classics and newer songs to fit our demographic perfectly. Everyone loved it! He also went above and beyond by working with the venue team to make sure we were on schedule and acted as a shepherd for the day (organizing/managing the speech timings, cake cutting, first dance, driving people to the photo booth, last dance, send off and much more!)
We're so happy we got the photo booth through Rick as he sent us all photos within a few days after our wedding and managed everything for it.
We seriously can't thank you enough, Rick, for the wonderful job you've done and the integral role you played in making our special day as great as it was. -

Rickochet Entertainment provided DJ services for my wedding and created an amazing atmosphere. The music played was as requested, and the gentleman and crew were well-versed in all genres and styles of music. My guests were happy and having fun, and even my grandparents joined in on the dance floor. The mirror photo booth attendant was very understanding and patient with my son, who has Autism. They went above and beyond to ensure that he felt comfortable and at ease, which made the experience a great success. They are exemplary and amiable collaborators. I was thoroughly impressed by the DJ's exceptional performance and their ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere. I'm so thankful that I hired Rickochet Entertainment.

Great listener, creative solutions finder, Professional Host
Rick , James & Rickochet Entertainment made our afternoon a huge success! The Mirror Photo Booth was the perfect solution for creating memories and saving them for my wife who could not attend.
This fund raising event to support her treatment had all our friends here. EVERYONE got crazy with the props provided. Rick & Rickochet Entertainment even created a scrapbook for her. In a year when all wedding vendors are double-booked to make up for many delayed events from 2020, Rickochet Entertainment came through for us. With so many other details to cover, we left many important music choices up to Rick, and we were very pleased with his selections. From the welcome reception through the entire 6-hour event, the music never disappointed. Everyone enjoyed it. I never left the dance floor once the dance music started, and I had lots and lots of company up there. My guests raved about the music, and their feedback was that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. I could not ask for more. Rick also provided the photo booth, and it was a big hit. I highly recommend Rickochet Entertainment for your events. You will not be disappointed. -

We got married this past July, and our wedding was constantly changing due to COVID-19. Rick with Rickochet Entertainment was incredibly flexible with our changes, understanding, patient, and optimistic. Not only that, but he was a breeze to work with. Very personable. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Rickochet entertainment! Due to covid we had to completely replan our wedding. We had stumbled upon Rick’s company and we are so glad that we did! Not only did he really work with us and help us out during this crazy covid time, but he was also super dedicated to making sure that our wedding was perfect! Rick was always extremely easy to get a hold of and also offered amazing insight and advice. He really works to build a connection and relationship with his clients. Our wedding was seamless and I really attribute a lot of that to Rick and how skilled he is at his profession. Amy Sent on 08/30/2018Rickochet Entertainment was our wedding DJ, and Rick and Deonna were great to work with for our June mountain wedding! They offered us a great experience for a really great price. They went above and beyond our expectations in so many ways. They have lots of experience and when we met in person they had great recommendations and answers to all of our questions. They made the process very easy and fun as well. I really like their website with a list of recommended music...this is a great feature. I also let them pick out a lot of the dinner and dance music and all I told him was the genre, and it was perfect! On the day of our wedding, Rick was very helpful and accommodating of my requests and also had a great idea for getting everyone on the dance floor. Once everyone was out there, it was a DANCE PARTY! Rick knew exactly how to read the crowd and what song to play next. He rocked it, and so many guests told me, "...oh he's good". I know I didn't want my wedding to be a dancing flop, so I'm so happy I hired Rickochet! I've been to weddings that have no DJ...just a laptop and cheap, barely audible speakers, and let me tell you, NO ONE dances at those, it's just not even close to being the same. Rick gave us a nice bottle of wine as a thank you gift as well...a very nice touch. Thank you so much!

Prior to the event, they helped us map out our schedule for the evening and they maintained an excellent balance of enabling what we wanted vs suggesting things we might want to consider. Their advice (based on their considerable experience) was excellent. On the evening of the event, they worked with other vendors to make sure everything went exactly on schedule and everything was taken care of. The music, from soft and easy during cocktail hour, all the way up through raising the roof at the end of the night, was absolutely flawless. It literally could not have been better. We will never use another DJ. We highly recommend Rickochet Entertainment!!

Paige Sent on 11/12/2017Rick and Deanna were part of our wedding as the DJ and running the photobooth. They helped make our wedding the party that we wanted it to be! Rick took the time to meet with us in person before the wedding, in addition to being available for several phone meetings leading up to the big day. Rick really helped to keep the wedding on track and make sure to get to all the important events (speeches, dances, bouquet toss, etc.). They were both great to work with, and I would definitely include them in our wedding if I had to do it all over again.

Rick and Deonna were so easy to work with and really cater to what you want for your special day. Our entire wedding was out on the dance floor and having an amazing time, and suggestions were always allowed. We got countless compliments on the flow of the wedding and the overall feel, and I would say a lot of that came from the music and thought that Rick put into our day. The suggestions Rick provided us were awesome, and really helped us to make sure that everything was the way we had always imagined it. Strongly, strongly suggest Rickochet Entertainment. -

Pretty great DJ
Rick was wonderful to work with and coordinate everything. I was bummed that he wasn't able to be our DJ day of, but Blake was great. Everyone had fun!
The photobooth was AMAZING! It was a massive hit and I'm so glad I decided to have it. I LOVED it! Such high quality photos and a great way to get people up and moving.
I had asked for no requests, but they got snuck in there. It ended up being fine, and they were excited to hear what they asked for. -

Rick did a pretty good job overall, but there’s definitely some room for improvement. The price was good and they were even able to provide some uplighting and matched it to our wedding colors. His website was easy to use and we were able to either find in his library or submit a custom request for all of the songs that we wanted. It was also nice being able to put our timeline and all of our notes on the portal too. We were impressed that he could provide two entire systems without increasing the price. We had three locations where music would be played throughout the day, so during the cocktail hour he had music playing while he moved the ceremony system into the dining room. He did a great job making all of this go very smoothly. In terms of the equipment, microphones, music, transitions, sound quality, and overall volume everything was perfect!!
The part that needs improvement and where we had a few issues is the inefficient communication. During the planning process we had a few phone meetings with him and he was very unprepared every time. These calls took over an hour, when they easily could have been done in 20 minutes. We sat there on the phone as he slowly clicked through all of our answers on the online portal and read off what we had written down and asked if we were sure about it. We wanted to play only Motown classics during the dancing. A lot of the time was also spent assuring us again and again that it was our day and he would do whatever we wanted, and then immediately trying to steer us away from our choices and suggesting that we should choose some more current songs by Justin Timberlake or Bruno Mars in case people weren’t dancing. At the wedding, there was one problem after the ceremony: when we got to the end of the aisle we had planned for our officiant to announce for everyone to turn around so the photographer could get a big group shot. Unfortunately, the officiant’s mic was turned off so no one could hear him and the music kept playing as we stood there waiting in confusion. We eventually got the photo, but then the officiant’s mic was still off for when he was supposed to announce to everyone where the cocktail hour would be. All of these instructions were written down on the portal, so it’s disappointing that they were overlooked. Overall we’re happy with how the music turned out. There were just a few hiccups along the way.
