  Angie is the bomb!

  We booked rhythm and lights about 12 months before our wedding, and throughout the course of our planning they were always there to answer questions and concerns. Angie was our DJ for the night and she was ON it. She even got on the dance floor to motivate the guests! She always had a smile and made sure everything was just how it needed to be.

  So much fun!

  Rob and his wife were amazing- we were not the easiest couple to work with as we are an international couple and did our planning from abroad. We had specific (and foreign) song requests, and Rob went out of his way to find them and cut them and make sure everything was approved! He had a truck break down and it affected NOTHING- we were so happy. Plus he gave us a CD of the dance floor, was an amazing, flexible, fun MC, and helped us make our (funny) dreams come true!   Rob with rhythm and lights was amazing. He made my reception unforgettable, and my guests had a great time. Rob was organized and very helpful throughout the planning process. On my wedding day he also came over to me to see if there was anything he could do for me which was really appreciated. 10/10 recommend rhythm and lights dj!

  Very professional & friendly - they provided 2 DJs, lights & video for my daughters wedding. They mixed with the crowd & bridal party very nicely, played songs that were pre-arranged with the couple. They did all the introductions of the bridal party and announcements. Turned volume down immediately when asked. Interaction with the crowd was excellent, DJ has his own headset mic which allowed him to get out on the dance floor & throughout the reception area nicely. Very reasonably priced.

  People are still talking about our reception!!!! Dave was an amazing DJ He stayed till 12:30am and kept the party going!!! He got everyone to dance!! They even have props!!!

  Dave was hands down the best DJ every. We had so many compliments about our DJ service. He made our wedding truely a night to remember. The dance floor was never bare and everyone had a good time. He does so many fun interactive things that every age group enjoys. I would recommend Rhythm & Lights DJ to anyone and everyone!!!!!!!! Thanks Dave!!!!

  Hands down, our DJ made the reception. The event was perfect! I think my worst fear about the reception itself was that nobody would dance, people would be bored, etc..Instead-it was the topic of conversation for weeks to come. Not only was I impressed with the professionalism of these gentlemen (who personally served my husband and I our dinner and drinks), but was thankful they came out and had a good time too. I know it depends on the person how involved you want your DJ to be, but I did not want to pay someone to stand in a corner and play music all night. They were out on the dance floor with us and it was a great experience. They also made things more fun by involving props, and somehow they convinced my dad to dress in a chicken suit for the chicken dance :) The main thing was that they were extremely flexible with my husband and I who were planning a Michigan wedding from Arizona. Overall, great great great experience, I would recommend them to anyone!

  Quality dj!

  Rob and Mitch did my wedding ceremony and reception April! Picking specific songs was definitely tough but Rob was flexible with me and letting me make changes up the last day! He is very experienced and did a great job coordinating with my master and mistress of ceremonies day of. You won’t be disappointed with them! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a fun and lasting reception!!

  My best friend had used Rhythm and Lights, and Dave at her reception and he was wonderful! When it came to planning my wedding I knew I had to use him. I worked mostly with Landon (the owner) and never met with Dave before the wedding, but Landon assured me everything was all set and that we would have Dave the whole evening and play all the games and do all the fun stuff that we had seen at my friends wedding.
  It wasn't quite that way....
  Dave was at our reception...for the first 45 minutes. He introduced us and played one game with us and then he left. He didn't tell us he was leaving, and we were left with a teenager and a young man...who were less then experienced. They did not teach us dances or promote people to come out on the dance floor. They did not play games, or do the fun glow sticks, chicken suits, YMCA etc. that we had discussed with Landon. After the garter toss they didn't even have the two people who caught the bouquet and garter do anything together...they were left just standing there. People were requesting songs that never got played, and my list of songs I requested to be played at the reception were never played. It was very disappointing. I know that this company can do better because I witnessed it at my friends wedding, but at my wedding it was a big disappointment.

  Do not recommend.

  Rhythm and Lights DJ’d our wedding for the ceremony and reception and provided a photobooth. While the music was loud and fun, the photobooth was a hit, and our ceremony music was just right; there were a lot of avoidable misses that ultimately disappointed us, although our guests may not have been the wiser. The DJ was supposed to contact us prior to the wedding day, we did not hear from him, and later when giving me an excuse told me they weren’t in contact because they went to a football game out of state before the wedding. Even with that excuse, there is no reason for many of the misses I’m about to list. There was no cocktail hour music, our introduction was wrong, he interrupted our wedding dinner to tell us he couldn’t access the playlist link we gave them a week ahead of time for the reception (this is when he gave us the excuse he went to a football game instead of preparing and contacting us like they said they would), he took photos of the playlist songs from our phone but then only played songs from it upon request from me, and I witnessed and heard from our guests how he was acting inappropriately with the photobooth attendant. The music during the reception also stopped for ten minutes when his amp died and he had to replace it. We later connected with our highly experienced wedding coordinator who went out their way to share how the DJ didn't review the timeline and wasn't prepared, and was disrepectful. A few days after the wedding I called the owner to tell him how it went, he said he’d get back to me after talking with the DJ. The owner later texted me the link didn’t work for him either for our reception music and the amp wasn’t their fault. It’s been a week from those texts and I haven’t heard anything else. I’m a very optimistic person and it takes a lot of misses for me to be disappointed. I would not recommend this business for any of your events.
