If you are planning a wedding in the Capital Region, have it at Brown's. The venue is a one stop shop - you get delicious food and drinks, a gorgeous setting, great locations for photos, beautiful tables and chairs, and excellent event coordinators. Thanks to Nora and Erika, planning our wedding was a smooth process, and the day itself went perfectly - they were on top of every detail. I can't recommend Brown's highly enough. -

I got married at Brown's on 11/9/24 and could not have asked for a more perfect day. Nora was extremely helpful with the entire planning process and truly made everything so easy. The venue itself is already so beautiful that we didn't have to worry about a lot of decorations. The staff set up everything in the morning and took it down and packaged everything so quickly at the end of the night making it so easy for us. Nora and the staff made sure everything went smoothly and we felt like we didn't have to worry or stress at all the day of the wedding and during it. The food was all wonderful and they were very accommodating of a severe allergy for one of our guests.
I got ready in the Nest which was so easy and made the morning stress free and easy. There was so much space to get ready and relax the morning of and we didn't have to worry about transportation.
We also did the craft beer experience package which was awesome! We got to watch the whole process of brewing a beer served at our wedding and enjoy several samples and lunch. We had so much fun and the beer was a huge hit with our guests.
I highly recommend Brown's Revolution Hall! My husband and I hope we get to attend another wedding at Brown's as a guest! -

We cannot recommend Revolution Hall enough! My husband and I had our wedding here and it was everything we could have ever wanted. The venue was perfect for our wedding (150 people). Everyone loved the food and they were able to accommodate a lot of dietary restrictions. The bar was run perfectly and we chose to make our own beer which was a crowd pleaser the day of. The atmosphere, photos, and beautiful decor made our photos absolutely stunning! The bridal party got ready at The Nest which was perfect for a private place day of where they could get ready (makeup & hair)! Nora and the team had coffee and tea for the bridal party and were ready and available for anything we needed! We can’t thank Nora and the staff enough for all of the support leading up to the event - the phone calls, emails, and meetings - and having everything run perfectly the day of. We were able to have our perfect day thanks to them! -

My husband and I were absolutely blown away having our wedding at Revolution Hall. From the beginning of the planning process, Carrie, Nora & the whole team have been incredible to work with. We had to postpone our wedding twice during COVID and had absolutely no trouble rebooking plans. We had a lot of last minute cancellations due to COVID as well, and they were so flexible and accommodating. When the big day finally got here, I couldn't believe how many details Carrie & Nora took care of for us. They are absolute pros with so much expertise on how to make the day run smoothly. Carrie & team communicated with all the vendors day-of seamlessly, got everything set up for us, even decorated our cake with the flowers from our florist, it was amazing, I had no stress. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the "Nest" bridal suite which was absolutely incredible - huge, beautiful space, and it made the whole day-of so much easier logistically. It ended up raining when we were starting to take photos so we were able to use the bridal suite for all of our bridal party photos, and it worked out great. The event itself was incredibly smooth because the team was always on it; dinner and apps were delicious. We got to throw a huge dance party with the greatest band (Silver Arrow), which was exactly the night we wanted to have. Absolutely everything exceeded our expectations, we are so thrilled with how the day turned out. We even used the Malt Room for our rehearsal dinner which I would highly recommend as well. Every couple should book their wedding here. -

I have no words. This venue was truly one of the greatest decisions my husband and I have ever made. The space is gorgeous, industrial but also rustic. Make sure to dig for pictures because there are more pics on Instagram that show how incredible it is! There's so much you can do with the space! Book the bridal suite! The food is amazing. The booze is great (good pours). But what's the most important is the PEOPLE at Rev Hall. You will feel an immediate trust with Carrie and the Rev Hall staff. They don't take advantage of you and your wallet. It's a breath of fresh air while wedding planning. Carrie would let me pop over to visit Rev Hall at any time of the day, randomly, to see the space and have a chat leading up to the wedding. Rev Hall also allowed us to come back the day after the wedding to pick up gear, which is HUGE. Rev Hall even fed us the morning after the wedding, which was such a sweet and caring touch. In short, Carrie was always there to help, and was always so relaxed...which helped me when I was nervous (which was constantly)!
Book Rev Hall, you will not regret it.
Carrie - thank you for everything you did for us. You were an absolute godsend and I'm so grateful I get to have someone like you in my wedding memories. I can't wait to see you again soon, I know I will! -

Can’t Say Enough Great Things about Carrie and Rev Hall!
Since we met and got engaged at Brown’s I was initially hesitant about getting married there too. I am SO GLAD we decided to have all of our wedding weekend events at The Malt Room, The Nest (rehearsal dinner and day after brunch; getting ready) and Revolution Hall! Our day and night was truly spectacular and it has so much to do with Carrie and her team! All our guests said it was just so much fun and I truly believe it’s a testament to how welcoming and fun the atmosphere is. Carrie is always there ready to help in anyway throughout the whole day! Emily helped with our day after brunch and it went so smoothly too! All of the bartenders and staff were great and the food was raves about by guests! I can’t say enough great things about Rev Hall, Carrie and staff! Highly recommend for 1 awesome party!!! -

I cannot rave about Rev Hall and Carrie and the team enough. The space, food, drinks, service are all incredible. The space has transformed so beautifully over the past two years since we booked Rev Hall as our venue that we kept most extra decor to a minimum. Carrie is so wonderful and easy to work with, planning a re-scheduled wedding during Covid was so stressful and Carrie was so helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. As the bride and the groom we had zero complaints, we hope to be able to go back as wedding guests soon!
Don't wait on booking Rev Hall for your dream wedding! -

Wonderful Atmosphere & Incredible Staff!
From start to finish of the wedding planning process, we have been blown away by how professional, kind, and organized Carrie and her team at Brown’s has been. Our wedding was originally planned for July 2020. When we made the decision to postpone, Carrie was understanding and flexible with us. She allowed us to postpone our wedding to July 2021 without any complications. Throughout the planning process, Carrie was always available to speak with me, answer questions, and meet with us to go over details. Carrie made us feel like our wedding was a top priority for the team at Brown’s. On our wedding day, we were blown away by the staff at Brown’s. Carrie and her team were incredibly attentive, accommodating, and detail-oriented. We feel that the staff truly goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the guests at the reception feel cared for. They were always checking in on me and my family members to make sure we were eating and had a drink of our choice. The bartenders and servers were efficient and friendly towards our guests. Our priest’s car battery died at the end of our wedding night, and Carrie came to the rescue to jump start his car! The wonderful atmosphere of Rev Hall, coupled with the outstanding staff made our wedding reception a dream come true.

Best venue!
Carrie and the entire staff at Brown's went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect. Everyone was helpful, flexible, and fun to work with! Especially with covid, Carrie did everything in her power to help us change our date, keep our guests safe, and deal with some last-minute cancelations. Our entire party raved about the food, drinks, and service. I wish we could get married here all over again, and I can't say enough what a great experience this was! -

We booked our wedding at Revolution Hall in February of 2019. It was perfect for us — located near where we live, attached to a great brewery, and a perfect space for the number of people we wanted. Carrie had been so responsive and accommodating while we planned out our 2020 wedding, from the meal choices to the linen colors. The pandemic hit two months before our planned date, so we had to reschedule until June of 2021. So so so worth the wait! With Carrie at the helm, we knew everything would go off without a hitch. The food was fantastic and the space was absolutely perfect (plus near several hotels for our guests’ convenience). I’ll be singing Rev Hall’s praises for a long time! -

Selecting this venue was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Carrie and Luisa and all their staff we so wonderful to work with and made us feel like we the most important event they had on their schedules, even when we knew they had a million things on their plate. They were responsive, organized, and took care of every request we had without batting an eye. They executed everything better than we had even imagined and made our wedding day the best day of our lives. Now that the wedding is over, we miss our planning meetings with them! The venue is beautiful, but the people there really put this place over the top. -

We're two months out, and I still can't get over how amazing our winter wedding at Rev Hall was! From the start, Louisa and Carrie made sure that every detail was perfect. Our guests raved about the space, the service, and the food all night. Everyone had such a great time, that I (almost) wish we could get married again! Definitely book your wedding here, you won't regret it! -

I’m sure I probably sound like a broken record at this point based on other reviews, but Carrie is one of the most insanely talented professionals in the wedding game. Not only is Revolution Hall wonderful, beautiful, unique, and perfect for the rustic bride but Carrie will make all of your dreams come true effortlessly. My fiancé and I have been going to Browns Brewing for years and have always loved and appreciated their fantastic food and Rev Hall delivered on AMAZING food and drinks for our guests. The bartenders were incredible and fun and kept the party rocking, the wait staff was diligent and attentive, and it was all everything we could’ve asked for. Rev Hall was the most perfect venue for what was the most perfect wedding. Thank you!! -

My husband and I attended a wedding at Revolution Hall three years ago and knew from that moment that we would get married here someday. Fast forward a few years and we were back at Rev Hall, meeting Carrie for the first time, drinking a beer and deciding to book the space! The place sells itself with the rustic interior to the hanging lights and cozy outside beer garden and the staff makes it even better. We worked directly with Carrie & Louisa who were both rock stars. They helped us every step of the way and we were so very thankful for their help and guidance throughout our planning process. They made everything so seamless and easy and our wedding was truly spectacular. It was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more from the food to the drinks, dancing, ambiance, etc. Revolution Hall has so much character and is a true gem. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a more rustic environment with a truly wonderful staff! We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Malt Room at Brown’s and it was fabulous. It is the perfect space if you want your guests to be able to mingle around and not be stuck at a table the entire night. We had a lot of guests from out of town so it was the perfect environment for our group. Our friends and family are still talking about the rehearsal dinner and wedding and how wonderful it was! Thank you so much to the entire staff at Brown’s!

Carrie helped us coordinate the event, made sure we could make changes to numbers as late as possible! Very responsive. The venue was very awesome, everyone loved it. Carrie had a list of venders who had worked there before which was extremely helpful! -

Unique, fun, stress-free venue!
Brown’s was truly the perfect venue for us, the food was amazing, all of the staff were wonderful. Carrie was a pleasure to work with - prompt to respond, flexible, and will help accommodate special wishes to pull off your vision (ex: we had some off-menu food/beverage requests). The only drawback we felt when we initially visited was that we didn’t like having the reception tables pushed off to the side during the ceremony. To avoid this, we inquired about getting married on the patio, but Brown’s will only rent to the end of the pergola. Since we wouldn’t fit there (157), we extended our cocktail hour by 30 minutes and they were able to flip the downstairs with this extra time. I’m glad we did this, for many reasons. They also have decorations available, a locked card barrel, seating chart options, and did the set-up for our donuts/cake. Overall, a no-fuss experience - would recommend 1,000 times over! -

The Perfect Venue
From the minute we stepped into Revolution Hall and met Carrie, we knew it was going to be our wedding venue. You cannot get what you get at Revolution Hall anywhere else–great beer, amazing food, space to seat 175+, rustic decor, talented and friendly staff, and best of all CARRIE! Carrie took every worry and insecurity off our plate and on to hers to make our day flawless (not to mention she ensured we had a drink in our hands and food in our stomachs throughout the night)! We were also fortunate enough to use the Malt Room (also owned by Browns) for our rehearsal dinner and after party and it was absolutely perfect. I can't sing enough praises about Revolution Hall and the amazing people who helped make our day perfect. -

My husband and I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved our experience at Revolution Hall. From the first e-mail to Carrie requesting to see the space, to the final days leading up to the wedding, the staff's responsiveness and kindness were always in the foreground. Besides the uniqueness of the space and the quality of the food and location, the beauty of Revolution Hall is that it is such a one-stop-shop for awesomeness: by having your wedding there, you can use their tables/chairs, their linens, order their favors (we had engraved pint glasses made for us), have access to their killer selection of beers, and get to work with an incredible event planner -- Carrie. We would not change a thing about our day. If you're thinking about getting married in Albany/Troy, run and see Revolution Hall. You won't regret it. -

Brown's Revolution Hall is truly a magical venue. It is stunningly beautiful and feels inviting and cozy. It provides a unique experience to guests that are not from Troy because it is attached to a brewery that makes some very delicious beers. Carrie, the event coordinator, was PHENOMENAL to work with. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, (when that is not the case at all), and was always prompt, kind, accommodating, and professional. She honestly is an angel! The food was delicious and our guests raved about it for days on end! We also were able to select 7 of the brewery's beers to have on tap and they offer a great wine and liquor selection as well (they even have Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand!!). The venue includes a built-in stage which was amazing because we had a 7-person band. There was also additional seating areas with couches and sofa chairs that were great for taking a break from dancing or catching up with relatives. Additionally, there are 2 hotels withing 2-3 blocks from the venue which made it very convenient for out of town guests. If I could do it all over again, I would chose Rev Hall 1000 times over. It was perfect in every way and our guests were just as impressed as we were. Thank you Carrie, and all of the staff at Revolution Hall, for the most amazing evening my husband and I could have dreamed of! -

Our wedding at Rev Hall was basically perfect. We LOVED working with Carrie and the team there and found them to be, in every case, professional, helpful, kind and full of good advice.
Some Pros of Rev Hall:
- GREAT food. Please please do a tasting here; you will not be disappointed.
- Amazing Brown's beer on tap all night
- The way the venue is laid out is perfect for having your ceremony on site, if you choose; there's a separate space for the cocktail hour
- Carrie is awesome and helps manage all of the vendors and logistics leading up to and on the day of the wedding
- Great acoustics; I've been to venues where you can't hear the speeches or anything because of echos and reverb, but Rev Hall didn't have that issue
- They decorate the place flawlessly and have tons of stuff available for you to use for decorations (or you can bring in your own things)
- Plenty of space, including an upper level balcony that can be used during the cocktail hour and a patio area you can use if it's nice out
- There's a stage! We had a DJ, and people ended up dancing on stage during the reception. We also did our ceremony up there. I imagine it would be perfect for a band.
- They're very thoughtful; when we walked off stage after our ceremony and out the doors, Carrie was waiting for us with our favorite drinks (a Moscow Mule for her, an IPA for me) and ushered us into a private room to take a breath and have a moment to enjoy being married. It was perfect.
Cons of Rev Hall:
- We only got to have ONE wedding there. Wish we could do this every year! -

Carrie was also great! She has a lot of experiences with weddings and she very responsive. She helped create the wedding of our dreams!

From the first moment we walked into Revolution Hall and were greeted by Carrie Harkin we were overly impressed. She is personable, positive, knowledgeable, helpful and tasteful. The entire experience with Carrie and her team convinced us they truly strived to make our wedding day the most magical event customized to meet our needs. She was exceptionally accommodating with all of our wants and needs. We met with Carrie multiple times and she answered every question with a level of knowledge and problem solving that comes with a deep level of experience in the business. Carrie was a saint in every way from day one up to our wedding day, walking us through every detail and delivering above and beyond. She proved to be at our beckon call and brought us a special plate of appetizers for us during the cocktail hour and again before we ate dinner! The food was to die for! Everyone raved about how delicious and perfectly cooked everything was. Carrie is so much an angel that she and Louisa (who is incredibly sweet and helpful) assisted the Maid of Honor bustle the wedding gown for a solid 20 minutes!
Revolution Hall is extremely photogenic and our photographer loved every inch of it! In addition to the venue itself we got some awesome photos in The Malt Room. This is a bar located in the basement that is accented with original 19th century infrastructure and a copper topped bar made from Brown’s Whiskey Porter aging barrels. There are original steel forged barley sculptured glass top tables that complement the dark exposed beam and weathered brick interior. We spent some quality time here prior to the ceremony which was intimate because it does not open to the public until 5pm.
There is no question in our minds and our guests that this is the place to create a lifetime of amazing memories, thanks to these great people!

We wanted for nothing the entire day, they were always two steps ahead of us. Carrie the event coordinator was outstanding!! Not only did she answer any and all questions and was always available. She is a sweetheart and you can truly tell that she loves her job. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect and memorable. She decorated exactly how we wanted and made everything look so classy, cozy and beautiful. The venue is a unique rustic awesome place. The food was outstanding from the appetizers, cocktail hour, and dinner was phenominal. Every guest came up to us or our parents and were amazed at the staff and venue. I can't remember all of the staff members names but they were all exceptional! I would recommend this awesome venue to everyone! It is top notch!! Thanks Again Carrie, Staff and Revolution Hall for the best day of our lives!!!! <3

Sarah Sent on 12/17/2015I don't even know where to start! My experience with Revolution Hall was just so perfect. Carrie is the perfect venue coordinator. She will make sure that your wedding is exactly as you envision it and we answer any strange question you might have. We booked the venue about 13 months prior to our wedding. We were informed that there is a 100 guest minimum for Saturday weddings and at that time we had a guest list of about 60. Carrie assured us that as long as we were close to that 100 mark, that we would be fine. In the end we had 89 guests and that it what we paid for. We had our tasting about 10 months out and it completely exceed our expectations. Carrie asked us for a list of appetizers and entrees that we wanted to try. We were greeted by a waitress, who had also been married at Revolution Hall. She walked us through the tasting. We even had two flights of beer so that we could try what they had on tap. This tasting was completely complimentary. We left feeling extremely confident that our food would be amazing the day of.
On the day of our wedding the staff exceeded our expectations! They were all so polite and helpful. We had joined our guests at cocktail hour and Carrie made sure that we had refills of our beers waiting on the table for us after our introduction. The staff continued to make sure that our needs were met and that things were going well. Every guest I spoke to during the reception told me it was the best wedding they had even been to. When speaking with my mother after the wedding she informed me that staff had told her that our guests were some of the best they had ever had. It was just all around a wonderful day and Revolution Hall exceeded all expectations I could have ever had! -

Emily Sent on 09/29/2015I recently had my wedding reception at Brown's Brewery, and I wish I could give this venue and it's coordinator, Carrie, 10 Stars! Living out of state was no issue for Carrie--she responded via email quickly and she was always accommodating to all of my needs. If I had a question, Carrie always had an an answer. Because we were out-of-state, it was not as easy to get together in person, but Carrie assured us every step of the way. We could not do the food tasting for this reason but the dinners served at our reception were EXCEPTIONAL. Not to mention, their beer is already a favorite of ours. The bartender, Theo, was awesome and all of the staff that night were so easy to work with. We were able to decorate the night before, and Carrie added in some special touches that really elevated the hall more than I could have imagined!
On the wedding day, our ceremony was pushed back an hour due to a shuttle mishap. I called Carrie to warn her that we would be arriving later than expected to the cocktail hour. She immediately notified Patrick, our DJ (also a recommendation of hers that I am glad we went with!), and she made sure we received our full reception time.
Arriving late and feeling very flustered, Carrie immediately came out to me, allowed my husband and I the chance to see the hall before the guests entered, and she even helped fix the bustle on my wedding gown!! All in all, Carrie and her staff were the BEST, they were easy to work with, the food was outstanding, and the hall itself was so beautiful and rustic. 10 Stars for making our wedding reception an enchanting and magical experience. Thank you, Carrie and Staff! -

So glad we celebrated here!
Our love story began with dates at Brown’s Brewing and it felt like the perfect venue to get married. Price tags on weddings, especially when you are financially independent in the process, are terrifying and we thought having a DIY wedding would save us money. Once we realized that was incredibly wrong Revolution Hall’s all inclusive pricing was an easy decision. Our guests have said to us the last 24 hours how amazing and beautiful the space itself was, how incredibly friendly and awesome the staff were, and how much fun they had at this venue. We had The Nest to get ready and it was perfect and our photographer loved the unique photo opportunities it provided. The food from appetizers to dinner to dessert was absolutely perfect. Grilled Carolina BBQ wings, Cajun Shrimp, and Pork dumplings were favorites at cocktail hour. Rosemary Chicken, Tortellini, Lemon Dill Salmon, and Delmonico Steak was for dinner and no one had anything but raving reviews. The dessert bar was also the way to go. Really excellent and we had a wonderful time. -

She was easy to communicate with through out the process of planning and very responsive. The food was good and service of dinner, bar service, etc was all excellent. If you loved the event space as much as we did, we wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend it! Thank you to Carrie, Lousia, and everyone at Rev Hall for helping us to put on a great wedding!!!
