An Excellent Choice, and WOW that Voice!

Reverend Tim Mills was an excellent choice to officiate our wedding. We spoke with several other officiants prior to Tim, and while I’m sure most of them would have been great, Tim was the right guy for the job! There are several reviews about his impressive voice, which at first I thought must be overstated, but WOW! From the second he picked up the phone we were impressed.

He was very hands off in the planning process, and had several optional items to include (think a prayer, traditional vows, personal vows, a reading etc.) and we loved his idea to read personal stories that we wrote for the ceremony instead of having us recite our own vows in front of all of our guests. Overall we opted for a shorter ceremony, but Tim gave an excellent performance and had a great sense of comedic timing without making the ceremony seem like a stand up routine. We received plenty of compliments from the guests after our ceremony, and while we don’t plan on getting married again, if we did we would definitely choose Reverend Tim again!

Fantastic Wedding Experience

Reverend Tim was the officiant for our wedding. He did an amazing job officiating our ceremony.

As part of the preparation process, Reverend Tim meets with you to understand your story/personal connection and works with you to incorporate this into your ceremony which our guests loved. He was able to seamlessly incorporate the religious elements we wanted in our ceremony but can also officiate for those who want a non-religious ceremony.

We met with Reverend Tim once in person, in addition to our correspondence via email, but his presence and understanding of us made the ceremony feel like he had been in our lives for a long time. In addition, he orates ceremonies with a low, warm voice that wedding guests were raved about (it’s kind of barry white-esque)!

We highly recommend Reverend Tim for any wedding looking for a fantastic officiant.

Traditional and fun!

Reverend Tim was the best part of my ceremony (besides my husband and I getting married!). He was traditional yet fun and entertaining. So many of my guests came up to us after the ceremony to let us know it was the best they've ever been to. I'm so glad I found Reverend Tim and you won't be disappointed if you choose him too!

Before our July wedding, my husband and I weren't sure how we wanted our ceremony to be. We had been to so many weddings where the ceremony felt generic or overly cheesy. We had even met with someone who did bilingual ceremonies (my husband is French), but really didn't feel a connection.

I saw Reverend Mills on the Murrieta's Well preferred vendors list, and looked him up along with the other recommendations. A youtube video of a previous ceremony of his popped up, and I watched Reverend Mills share stories the bride and groom had written about each other. I felt like I knew the couple and what they were about without having ever met them. I immediately set up a meeting with Reverend Mills, and he drove to Lafayette to meet us over coffee. We were instantly put at ease and knew he understood us and what we were going for. He also took great care to make sure all the French names were pronounced correctly after we submitted our stories.

The day of our wedding, the ceremony was one of my favorite parts. Numerous people have approached me echoing these same sentiments and wanting copies of the stories. People have said they could just "feel Allie and Maxime" through the ceremony (and loved his voice)! My sister isn't even engaged yet and wants Reverend Mills to officiate her future wedding. Thank you, Reverend Mills, for everything!

We can’t thank Reverend Mills enough for creating such a touching and memorable ceremony! It couldn’t have been more perfect!! We have had countless numbers of family and friends tell us that it was the best ceremony they have seen! He seamlessly mixed in traditional Jewish elements which was so special for George’s family. I was recommended to Tim by a wedding coordinator. She told me he had a beautiful voice and he is the best officiant on her list. I contacted him that night to book him. When he answered the phone I thought “whoooaaaaaaaa” and booked him right away. I think he was even a little puzzled how I just sent him the deposit right away! Lol, he told me I didn’t have to deposit until we met but I was not going to risk having someone steal MY OFFICIANT for my wedding date.

When Tuan and I met him, he was professional, funny, and open minded. We were extremely nervous about doing our own vows and he offered to read our story for us instead. He even sent us reminders to have the story ready and helped us revise.

He gave us several pointers on how to stand and act during the ceremony. Some of it I was surprised about, and so was my maid of honor: not to pay attention to him when he talks, to whisper to each other when he is speaking which I thought would be being slightly rude to Reverend Tim? But we trusted him and did what we were told! My maid of honor was amazed when she saw us following the instructions, how much more of an intimate loving feel the ceremony had. I don’t know if I am doing a good job at explaining it, but bottom line is he knows what he’s doing and if you listen to him, you’ll have a wonderful ceremony.

I used to never think picking the right officiant was important for our wedding. We even thought about having a friend do it. But I am so glad I did and Reverend Tim is worth every penny. I want him back when we do our vow renewal and I am not taking no for an answer!

Reverend Tim was amazing! His voice is perfect for officiating a wedding and he brings a perfect amount of celebration of the seriousness of the event at hand but brings a fun lightheartedness when it is appropriate. Instead of having couples write their own vows, he has you write a story about your spouse-to-be and recommends that it be from a time early in your relationship. He reads these out loud during the ceremony and this was one of our and our guests favorite part of the whole wedding. We got so many compliments about Reverend Tim and the ceremony and how much people enjoyed the stories.

Reverend Tim was amazing - he listened to our preferences and made the ceremony short and sweet, just how we wanted. He has a great speaking voice and a lovely presence. Best.officiant.ever! To be honest, we kept putting off dealing with our ceremony details until we couldn't any longer. We kept trying to think of a family member or friend we could ask to get ordained and marry us. After all of the details that go into planning a wedding, the thought of then helping write our ceremony with a family member or friend (we'd have NO clue where to begin) wasn't interesting anymore.

I work in the wedding industry and have seen hundreds of ceremonys but I don't really listen as I'm usually running around getting ready for the next detail. Luckily, one of my clients used Tim last year and I remembered him for his great voice and the amount of laughter that came from guests during the ceremony.

My husband and I had a quick call with Tim and his personality, sense of humor and awesome voice made us immediately decide he'd be perfect! Tim gave us some great advice about writing our own vows (not too) and instead we each wrote stories that Tim shared during the ceremony...he was right, everyone enjoyed listening to these much more and given our nerves, it was so nice to take a deep breath and listen to what my husband wrote. Tim also gave us some great advice about when to use prayers (since neither of us are religious but some of our family is) and provided us sample prayers to select from.

He made planning the ceremony beyond easy and the day of was honestly perfect! His delivery was amazing and we had so many people comment on what an amazing job he did. We'd absolutely recommended Tim and are so thankful we had a videographer because we both can't wait to listen to the ceremony again!

We are so happy that we found Reverend Tim and highly recommend him for your wedding! He is a “natural,” with the perfect voice and sense of humor for a wedding officiant. We received the most compliments about “the officiant,” at our wedding, and our guests raved about the ceremony all night! While we of course wanted everyone to enjoy themselves at the reception, for us, the most important part of the night was our ceremony when we exchanged vows. Because Tim really knows what makes a successful ceremony for the bride, groom and guests, our ceremony was the most memorable, enjoyable part of the night for my husband and me (and I think for our guests too!). We and our guests, laughed and cried throughout those brief, yet unforgettable 15 minutes.

Pre-ceremony: Tim responded to my inquiry quickly (within a couple hours), and always responded to our emails in a very timely manner. We appreciated that he set up a time to meet with us in person before we committed to his services, his rate is reasonable, he asks questions to get to know what it is that you [the couple] envision for your ceremony, and provides suggestions based on your responses and wishes. We didn’t have a detailed “vision” for our ceremony, but Tim knew what questions to ask to help us see what we wanted. He provided great suggestions to make guests focus their attention on us, and we love that he suggested that we each write a story about each other (without sharing ahead of time). Hearing Tim read the stories we wrote was the highlight of the night for both of us and many of our guests. We knew there would be many young children at the ceremony, including our own 2 and 3-year-olds, and this was no problem for Tim. In fact, he said not to make the kids do anything or force them to sit in a certain spot – Kids will be kids and do what they want. I kept telling myself this, and those of my wedding party, so everything with the children with smoothly.

Tim was the perfect choice for our 9/26 wedding at the palm event center in pleasanton. He was very responsive to all emails, gave great feedback during our visit, and has the most soothing voice you could imagine. We were at a friend's wedding where Reverend Tim was the officiant and afterwards we knew we had to work with him.

After working with him, we want to say, Reverend Tim is awesome. He really made us feel relaxed and at ease during the ceremony. He has an excellent voice and has a great presence. He really took the time to make sure our ceremony was a special one. He is very patient and you really feel he cares about you and your big day.

I am going to recommend him to all my friends and family.

Reverend Tim did a beautiful ceremony for my husband and I last December 30, 2012. He was a great presence with his beautiful voice and natural delivery. He was able to deliver a ceremony that was lighthearted and funny, yet still solemn. Even now, nearly a year later, we get feedback from guests who still remember our wedding ceremony, and they always gush about how great an officiant Reverend Tim was.
Reverend Tim was easy to communicate with. We gave him a call, met up with him soon after, sealed the deal, and kept in touch until the big day. The first day we met him, he told us what he was all about, what to expect from him, and what he expected from us. He was so thorough and organized during the months leading to our ceremony. Every time we sent him an e-mail, we received a prompt response. On the day of our wedding, Reverend Tim gave us exactly what he told us to expect and even more! We are so appreciative and we feel blessed that we were led to Reverend Tim.

My husband I were married earlier this month in Napa and I will say that Pastor Tim kicked off a wonderful day by setting such a joyous, cheerful and fantastic tone with his ceremony. After exchanging a few emails over the months leading up to the wedding, and then meeting for coffee one day the month before, we knew he was the right choice for our special day. With his incredible help, we crafted personal stories and chose meaningful readings that Pastor Tim shared with our guests, resulting in laughter, applause and tears. His ceremony was balanced, meaningful, sweet and to the point, and seemed very much "like us", as many of our guests stated. Pastor Tim also gave us a few hints to make the ceremony more inviting for our guests (you'll have to ask him what I'm talking about!) that left everyone in awe of what a wonderful ceremony it in fact was. Oh, and let's not forget Pastor Tim's booming vocals. He really should do voice-overs.

We could not have been more pleased with our choice and you will feel the same way!

Tim was great to work with for our wedding. He was professional and responsive to all of our questions ahead of time. He took the time to get to know us and really listened to our ideas of what we wanted our ceremony to be. He offered up a lovely sample ceremony for us to build from. In the end, when we decided that we wanted to essentially write our own ceremony, vows, everything - basically asking Tim to stray far from his usual ceremony, he didn't bat an eye and executed the unfamiliar ceremony beautifully. Reverend Tim was an excellent officiant for our wedding. He has a wonderful deep booming voice that lends magic and gravitas to a wedding. His voice sounded great in the cavernous space of our venue (SF City Hall). So many of our guests commented that they loved his voice and that he should do movie voice-overs! He also had unique ideas that made our ceremony personal and moving. He suggested that we write stories about one another for him to read. At first, we weren't sure if we wanted to do this but we are so glad we listened to him! The stories made our wedding so much more emotional and distinct. My in-laws said that if they ever renew their vows, they will be hiring Rev. Tim!

Reverend Tim was absolutely great to work with. Being someone who really didn't know how a wedding service should be run, he went through everything in detail with my wife and I before the wedding and we were stress free the day of. As I am not from the Bay Area, he even arranged his schedule so that he could meet with my wife and I when I was in town to discuss the wedding. I would highly recommend Reverend Tim for any type of wedding service as he will create a wonderful ceremony that you will remember forever.

Reverend Tim was a wonderful officiant at our wedding. His service was very professional, he was very responsive with emails and phone calls, and it was very easy working with him. Reverend Tim suggested us to write personal stories about each other so that he could read it out loud during the ceremony. This was definitely a huge hit. The stories turned out really great and the ceremony was just the right balance of levity and sacredness. Additionally, another huge plus was that his voice was strong and clear. We had a great experience and we wouldn't have wanted any other officiant for our wedding.

Reverend Tim was GREAT to work with. He responded quickly to all of my emails and answered all of my questions. He sent sample ceremony ideas that were perfect for what we wanted. It was deep, but light, spiritual and loving, but not too much where it felt like overkill… It was just “real” and fit us great. We met with him and right away, both my now husband and I felt comfortable and at ease. He gave us tips like to practice how we will stand, practice kissing (and make it dramatic, lol) and even told us we didn’t have to listen to what he was saying during our actual ceremony because the most important part was focusing on each other. I thought the tips were funny at the time, but I am so glad we took them seriously… because they helped. He also suggested incorporating stories about each other or about our relationship. None of that “I love you because….” But real stories that would make our ceremony personal. My now husband was hesitant because what man wants to do that, but he begrudgingly did it and I am SOOOOOO glad we did. It was fun to hear each other’s stories for the first time and our guests loved them. His ceremony was sweet, funny, entertaining and did the job PERFECTLY. During the rush and excitement of the wedding day, I forgot Reverend Tim’s final payment and felt horrible. However, he was perfectly understanding and kept reassuring me to not worry about it and we could make arrangements to meet up later. I was extremely happy with everything about Reverend Tim and believe our wedding would not have been the same without him. He is truly one of a kind and I would recommend him to anybody

Having originally discovered Tim Mills on Yelp where he had received high reviews, we enlisted his services for our wedding by the ocean. Tim made himself very available from our initial meeting in person, as well as being prompt in his reply to all of our email correspondence to follow. Not being sure of how best to orchestrate the ceremony, Tim was very thorough in offering his suggestions and recommendations, which ultimately, led to a very intimate and personal ceremony which all of our guests complimented us on. Our very special day was certainly made that much more amazing thanks to the direction, assistance and service Tim was able to provide. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

Reverend Timothy Mills was one of the key people in our perfect wedding.

From our first meeting through the wedding ceremony, Reverend Timothy Mills was totally professional, very responsive, gave great suggestions and helped set a loving, friendly and fun tone for the attendees at our wedding.

I have to also mention that he has the BEST voice and looks great in photos. Everyone at our wedding commented at how great he was.

I can't recommend him highly enough. If we ever renew our vows, we will absolutely be calling Reverend Timothy Mills to be the officiant for our ceremony.

Reverend Tim Mills married my now husband and I on June 29th at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View and the ceremony was so beautiful and heartfelt. Prior to the day of, he was very easy to communicate with about what the groom and I should practice (kissing, eye contact, etc.), scriptures and poems we wanted included in our ceremony, & the stories we wrote and wanted to share. On the day of the wedding, Reverend Tim showed up early to communicate with the groom and I, prepare the marriage license, coordinate with the wedding party on timing, and go over last minute details. His voice is spectacular and he made the ceremony so personal.

If you need an officiant who is easy to work with, well spoken, unique and overall amazing - please trust in Reverend Tim Mills to make your special day that much more perfect!

Reverend Tim was one of the recommended officiant from our venue.
We liked him because he was nice and easy going as well as for the fact that he did a lot of weddings at our venue and was familiar with the staffs and the venue's rules. He laid out everything and made everything so easy for us during the planning process. He was funny and our guests loved him at our wedding. I definitely recommend Reverend Tim Mills!

Marrying my husband was the most magical of experiences and I thank Reverend Mills for officiating such an incredible ceremony. It was filled with love, sincerity and so much personality! As I was planning our Napa wedding from London, we did not have the pleasure of meeting Reverend Mills until just two days before our nuptial however this did not stop the planning process. Reverend Mills was available via email or phone and always very responsive. He explained to me that he asks couples to write stories about the other to be read at the wedding ceremony and for us, this was a perfect way to personalize our ceremony. On the day of, Reverend Mills captivated not only us, but our guests, with his booming voice and genuine spirit. He made us laugh, cry and most importantly, celebrate the union we were joining. I can't thank Reverend Mills enough for his participation in our wedding.

Reverend Tim officiated our ceremony on August 7, 2010 at Viansa Winery (I apologize for just now writing this as I relied heavily on consumer comments to choose my own wedding vendors). He was nothing short of brilliant!

Our wedding was a destination wedding so we were unable to have our own reverend there and the ceremony was a very important and meaningful piece of the event for us. We met Reverend Tim for coffee the Fall prior on one of our planning trips to get an understanding of who he was as person and a Reverend. Everyone comments on the strength and power of his voice - which in all honesty could make reading a dinner menu sound attractive - but he is also warm in nature, commanding in stature, very dependable/responsive, well versed in what makes a good ceremony vs a great ceremony, and also open to integrating the couple's own ideas and wants (I probably had more than the average bride...).

While many couples comment that he is nondenominational and view that as a plus, my husband and I are strong Christians and wanted our commitment to God present in our ceremony. We gave Reverend Tim free range to comment on how marriage is viewed in the bible, the man's role and the woman's role, he did this wonderfully.

Our ceremony was only 20 minutes long but there was not a dry eye to be found. The level of intimacy and meaning was truly amplified by Reverend Tim for all of our guests to witness and be apart of. We received countless compliments on our ceremony from our guests and the Viansa staff (and they see a lot of weddings!).

Reverend Tim if you are reading this, thank you again for making the best day of our lives even better.

Reverend Tim Mills officiated our wedding. He was great to work with, very responsive and professional. Our ceremony was beautiful. Rev. Tim did a great job making it very personal by incorporating our personal stories. We didn't want to have a religious ceremony and Rev. Tim was very open and understanding. Everything was perfect!

We used Rev. Tim Mills for our 16 April wedding and it was one of the easiest and best decisions we made. His voice was exceptional and his advices were on point! One of the best things about Rev. Mills is he is non-denominational. He had us write a story about ourselves before the wedding so he can read the stories at the wedding. I thought that was such a unique touch because we didn't know until the day of the wedding what we wrote about each other. He was able to keep us at easy during the ceremony and make the ceremony lively. People are still talking about our ceremony and how great it was to hear about what we had to say about each other. He was such a professional and gave such a great ceremony. I still remember every aspect of our wedding ceremony and I am thankful that we had Rev. Tim Mills officiate our wedding. If you are in the bay area Rev. Tim Mill is the guy for you if you are looking to have a meaningful and thoughtful ceremony.

Reverend Tim did such a great job at our wedding last weekend on Treasure Island. He has such an endearing and captivating voice during the ceremony. Everything he suggested we do during the ceremony made it extremely memorable and totally unforgettable for our guests. During the ceremony he read stories my husband and I wrote about each other and it really captivated who we are and how we feel about one another. It was such a good idea and nice touch for the ceremony. Initially I was wary about my story writing skills, but the point of my story came across and he made me feel at ease that my story was good enough. I am still getting great feedback about how the ceremony really reflected my husband and I and how they will never forget the ceremony because it was so much fun. I cannot tell anyone how much I recommend Reverend Tim. He is such a fun, awesome person and I hope he continues enriching peoples lives and teaching them about love and patience for as long as possible.

125 guests attended my daughter’s wedding and nearly half of them approached me afterwards to tell me that this was the best ceremony and the best officiant they had ever experienced. Rev. Tim has a winning formula that brings even the cynically-inclined to laughter, tears and big open hearts. He makes the ceremony personal and meaningful. He imbues it with a deeply spiritual feeling but can, if you request it, avoid overt religious talk. He is perfect for an interfaith wedding. Rev. Tim was a joy to work with, calming our nerves while reassuring and uplifting everyone with his deep voice, heart-melting smile, years of wedding experience and obvious love for everyone involved.

Reverend Tim did our ceremony on 09/19..he was awesome. We liked him the first time we met him. He really captivated our audience and we had many people tell us how great he was. He was able to make our guests laugh a few times and it wasn't your usual boring ceremony. It was the perfect length. He had us each write a story about the other person which I was a little nervous about but it actually came out great and our guests loved it. He has a great command presence and wonderful booming voice! He came to our ceremony looking very sharp. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.

Reverend Tim performed my daughter's wedding on July 31 at Elliston Vineyards. We knew from the moment we met him that he was the right person. He is a very warm, caring person with a voice perfect for public speaking. He personalized the service and helped make my daughter's day absolutely perfect. When our other daughter gets married, we will want him to officiate that ceremony too.

Reverent Tim Mill is a wonderful wedding officiant.

Normally, most of Vietnamese couples choose to have a traditional wedding ceremony, but my wife & I decided that we want do something difference. Our families were nervous at first since they did not know how it will be like. We looked at commends about Tim on the web, and we decided to ask Rev. Tim Mills to officiate our wedding. We enjoyed talking to him when we first met Tim. He took his time to walk us through the process, and he advised us how to avoid the tediousness of the wedding ritual. He is very on time and commit. With his experiences, great sense of humor, and compassion, Tim was able to make our wedding ceremony filled with romantic moments, fun, and warm atmosphere. Our families and our guests had a great time during our wedding ceremony.

We can't say enough about Reverend Tim! Everyone absolutely loved the humor and lighthearted mood he brought to our ceremony. And what a voice - perfect for the occassion! Friends and family were talking about him for days after the ceremony - he led the ceremony with such ease and professionalism. He made us all remember that the ceremony is a place of celebration and joy - not just the tradition before the party. I highly recommend Reverend Tim.

Reverend Tim was an integral part of making our wedding ceremony perfect in every way. We wanted the perfect balance of conveying our vows in a serious manner with the ability to discuss our relationship with one and other in a fun, lighthearted and, at times, humorous way. Reverend Tim definitely delivered! We would recommend him to anyone!! Reverend Tim successfully integrated Jewish, Muslim and Christian traditions into a single ceremony that had our guests laughing, crying and laughing again. It was an incredibly moving event that incorporated personal stories, ancient poets, modern quotations and the comforting familiar. Rev. Tim definately has a system that works, and he was right about everything he told us. It could not have gone more smoothly. He was utterly perfect.

If you are getting married in the Bay Area I would advise you to meet with Rev. Mills. He was awesome! He is very nice and always there to help you if you have questions. His voice is wonderful and added to the ceremony just from his tone. He will have you write stories about each other that you keep secret and he reads at the ceremony. It is nice to have a suprise from your husband/wife when the day is already so planned out. Our guests said it was the most romantic wedding they had ever been to!

Rev. Tim was a dream come true! He was personable, friendly, and has an amazing voice- deep, resonant, and full of feeling! All of our guests asked us how we found him, and whether or not we'd known him for a very long time. He added humorous, personal, touching moments to the ceremony. He made our guests (and us!) laugh and cry. We really appreciated the personal stories he had us prepare for the ceremony (just wait and see, the guests adored this part of the ceremony!), and my favorite part was that he insisted that we, the bride and groom, face each other the entire ceremony. His reasoning for this was so that the guests would look where we were looking... at us! It worked, and everyone complimented us on our intimate ceremony. I highly recommend Rev. Tim. He is amazing!

My husband and I are not very religious so we wanted a somewhat neutral ceremony unlike the many church ceremonies we have attended in the past. The moment I talked to Reverend Tim on the phone I knew this was a great match! His deep and powerful voice and causal tone was perfect. He insisted we meet to ensure this was a match. During our meeting we discussed the flow of the ceremony and what we wanted to include. We were able to personalize it to make it meaningful to us rather than using a "standard ceremony" that so many officiants use. What was very special was Reverend Tim had us each write a story about something during our relationship. We were to keep these a secret from one another and we each submitted a week or two before the wedding with a couple of paragraphs. Funny enough we both ended up writing about the first time we met and our first date. It was so sweet and added such depth to the ceremony. Our guests were so involved in listening to the stories and thought it was so cool. Our guests wanted to know where we found him because they all thought that he must be a close friend of the family the way he was able to describe our relationship and who we are. Reverend Tim added humor and really made light of the whole ceremony and I can honestly say it was so much fun and did not drag on at all. The vows he use are very nice and I loved that we are declared "lovers and friends for life" rather than "husband and wife til death do we part" at the end. The words and phrases he used were exactly how my husband and I feel about each other. He suited our personalities and brought out who we are in the ceremony. Reverend Tim was on time and helpful in organizing things prior to the ceremony with all the attendants. It was really such a wonderful day!!!

We interviewed 4 different officiants and we chose Reverend Tim Mills for our Feb wedding in Livermore California. In our first meeting, he got to know us and what kind of wedding we were planning. His joy is contagious. He loves being part of people's wedding though that's only part of what his "day job" is. Throughout our wedding planning, we kept in touch with him and he was very patient in answering our questions, discussing options, changing up the order of the ceremony, etc. On the day of our wedding....let's just say, HE WAS AWESOME. We had a small wedding (90 people) and nearly every guest told me afterwards that our officiant was fantastic for multiple reasons; his clear deep warm booming voice, his sense of humor, his attention for the dramatic, and his reverence for the spiritual. Reverend Mills understood that a wedding is partially a show and it was necessary to engage and keep the audiences' (our guests') attention. To this end, he perfectly balanced solemnity, drama, comedy, and silence. If you have a choice between anyone and Reverend Mills, choose Reverend Mills. You will be elated. I hired Rev. Tim Mills to officiate at my wedding based off of his amazing Yelp reviews, and he totally lived up to the hype. He was very professional and nice and responsive. He has an awesome presence and speaking voice, and the perfect "look" I was going for. He helped us coordinate a beautiful ceremony, short and sweet, and was happy to make it non-religious even though he is a reverend. Though he is a bit on the expensive side, I'm totally glad we went with him and I highly recommend him to others in the Bay Area.

We first met Tim at my cousin's wedding. We've been to plenty of weddings and this was a ceremony that stuck in my head so when we got engaged I had to have him officiate. He has a commanding presence and voice which keeps guests completely engaged. He's passionate, but also adds some humor into the ceremony which we love. My favorite part was hearing the stories he had us write about each other. It made a ceremony unique and very special. He also is very adaptable. It was extremely hot the day of our wedding and of course my husband sent his story in last minute. Tim breezed through it as if he had practiced reading it before and kept the ceremony short and sweet which made a guests very grateful :) He is a little pricey, but I can see why since he is in such high demand.

Do not hire Rev. Tim Mills if you want a flawless ceremony. He mispronounced both my name and my husband's name, even though my husband coached him on the pronunciation just before the ceremony. He did not pay attention to the details we wanted in our ceremony either. He seemed very uninterested in the whole process.

Rev Tim is a phony.. a man with a good voice and a good act. He can marry you but money is the key for him it is a business and nothing more. He is on stage but in real life other people do not matter. He is a fake and really has no compassion for people. We learned this the hard way and want to warn others. Find someone else.
