Wedded Bliss

Reverend Lisa is such an amazing person. The prices were very reasonable, especially given what you get. She is great to communicate with, and she works with you to personalize your ceremony. She even answered a few questions I had about the whole wedding process! During the wedding, she did a GREAT job. Everyone came up to us later and asked about her because they said she did such an amazing job.

Wonderful experience with Rev Lisa

Reverend Lisa did an excellent job. She had clear communication from the get go, clear expectations and costs, and was quick to respond to us even when the wedding was still more than 6 months away. She arrived on time, was completely professional and very sweet, did a beautiful job with the ceremony, and overall we had a great experience with her. Fully recommended.

The perfect officiant

I can't recommend Lisa enough. She helped us every step of the way from our first meeting till we said I do and even after. She put together a beautiful ceremony that had everyone sobbing and was as invested in the wedding as a close friend or family member would be. Thank you Lisa for everything!

Wonderful combination of officiant and travel agent: Our Officiagent!

We found Reverend Lisa on the recommended list from The William Penn Inn, and we quickly understood why she's on their list. She offers several options for the ceremony that works for you. We wanted the short and sweet option, and she gave us several ceremonies to look over. We were able to take pieces of the ceremonies she gave us and essentially craft the perfect ceremony without needing to start from scratch, which is exactly what we were looking for. Several people came up to us after the ceremony and commented on how sweet the vows were.

In addition to the ceremony, she's also a licensed travel agent and we booked our honeymoon through her. It was fantastic! We had no idea we could afford a 9-night cruise and would've spent more money on what we thought was a more affordable option, but she guided us through the process and we ended up with the perfect honeymoon!

Obviously the officiant is one of the most important aspects of the wedding service so you want someone who is willing to work with you on the rest of the details. We had our service outside at a nearby park (in July!) and there was a 1/4 mile walk to the location we selected from the parking lot and Rev. Lisa was great about accommodating our quirky requests! It was steamy and a storm was threatening to chase us indoors, but Rev. Lisa kept positive and just wonderful. I would absolutely recommend her for your own wedding service! She was spot on!

We used Lisa as our wedding officiant and I couldn't have been happier! She's so kind and really makes you feel comfortable. She has a nice selection of ceremony wording to choice from that I think any couple would love. We custom made ours by combining two of the options. Before the ceremony she really made me feel calm and ensured me everything would be perfect. I would highly recommended Rev. Lisa!

Reverend Lisa was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend her. We originally chose her due to the great reviews we saw, and she went above and beyond all of our expectations. She was a great communicator and made the whole process incredibly easy. We met with her multiple times and it was great that she got to know us so well. She had each of us fill out a 10 question survey that she used on our wedding day to create a love story during the ceremony. My wife and I had no idea what the other person had wrote until the ceremony began and it was such an amazing touch to be surprised and hear what the other had to say during the story. It was so cool that she had a book of all the different ceremony options and we were able to piece together the ceremony exactly how we wanted it. Thanks Reverend Lisa!

Rev. Lisa was amazing! She was very thorough, prompt, kind, and most of all - creative with our ceremony. My husband and I choose to do a custom ceremony, and Rev. Lisa provided us with lots of choices for our ceremony. We even decided to go with a different type of unity ceremony than the options she was provided, and she was more than willing to work with us to incorporate it into our ceremony. Rev. Lisa was wonderful! We wanted very a specific, somewhat untraditional wedding ceremony and she just rolled with it. She gave us great suggestions and came with lots of help and ideas that made the whole thing superb.

Outside of our own feelings, we had many people come up to us telling us that our ceremony was the best they'd been to because it was so individual and really expressed us.

Rev. Lisa was a wonderful part of our big day, we are so lucky and blessed to have had her marry us. It is a memory we will always treasure. We opted for the "short and sweet" ceremony, which turned out to be just the right fit. We ended up giggling through parts of the vows and Rev. Lisa just went with the flow. It was perfect.

Rev. Lisa was so thoughtful and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was incredibly responsive and flexible; she made building our ceremony was an absolute breeze. We were able to customize our vows and say just what we wanted, even without writing our own. She thought of everything, even down to providing her personal iPad and speakers so we could play a few songs prior to the ceremony. We had our ceremony in a community park which didn't allow loud music, so having that small addition really made it extra special.

We highly recommend Rev. Lisa's services, she was an absolute joy to work with.

Reverend Lisa made our wedding ceremony absolutely beautiful. We did not know Rev. Lisa before the wedding, but read great reviews and felt confident she would be a perfect fit in our nonreligious wedding ceremony. We picked the package that included a personal love story based on questions my husband and I had to answer. To this day, people are commenting on how great that story was. It made it so exciting for my husband and I because we did not know the love story until that very moment in the ceremony. During our first meeting with Rev. Lisa, she gave us a wedding book to pick out literally everything we wanted in our ceremony. Of course we were not limited to what was in the book as they were just suggestions, but they were beautiful and we put together what we thought was a perfect ceremony! Before our wedding day she had emailed us a copy of the ceremony (minus the love story part) to review and make changes if needed. We did have Rev. Lisa come to our rehearsal and it was quick and easy for everyone in the wedding party. Our ceremony was so special to my husband and I, and I can't thank Reverend Lisa enough! I would, without hesitation, recommend Reverend Lisa for your wedding!

It was such a joy to have Rev. Lisa as part of our special day!

After multiple emails and conversations, we arranged to have a 30 minute meeting. That meeting turned into a 3 hour conversation! From the moment introductions were made we felt like we were meeting an old friend and catching up on our lives :)

Rev. Lisa was more than just an officiant on the day of our wedding...she was family. Her personality, cheerfulness, professionalism, and overall pleasant demeanor made our ceremony the best I've ever seen :). We felt like she had just as much fun as we did!

Rev. Lisa is the absolute best! She officiated our wedding 2 weeks ago and everything was wonderful. From start to finish, we could not be happier. When we first met with her, she was kind, friendly, funny, and just felt very comfortable around her. We also loved her ceremony binder where we could basically pick and choose everything that we wanted. She responds to emails and phone calls quickly. Her pricing is VERY reasonable. My husband and I had a little miscommunication with our venue for our rehearsal dinner and Rev. Lisa was able to come right away to help lead the rehearsal. We are forever thankful for that!! The ceremony was beautiful and everyone that attended loved it. Book her!!!! Thank you again for everything.

Lisa was our officiant and our travel agent for our April wedding. She took professional to a whole new level. She was always available to answer questions we had about anything. The ceremony was flawless and she made it so special by incorporating our vows for us.
Out honeymoon was beyond amazing. The resort that was booked was absolutely perfect. We had the time of our lives. We are so happy she recommended we stay there. In fact, we have decided to return to the exact location in a few years. Thank you Lisa!!!

We are really happy we found Lisa! We were able to create a ceremony that was special and unique to us. Lisa also has you answer questions about each other and uses your responses to add a nice personalized touch to the ceremony. Our guests gave us so many compliments on how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Another plus is Lisa is also a travel agent! She helped us booked our honeymoon! We really enjoyed working with Lisa and having her apart of our day.

Reverend Lisa was fantastic! From start to finish, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were looking for a non-denominational, yet personal, ceremony. We knew we had found our officiant after our first meeting with Lisa. She is a very warm, welcoming person and was very easy to open up to regarding our relationship. We weren't interested in a wedding coordinator or relationship counselor, just someone to help us with a heartfelt ceremony and we were not disappointed.
Reverend Lisa allowed us to tailor our ceremony to our liking all the while adding her own touch to make it uniquely personal to our story. Her pricing was all inclusive and very affordable when compared to many other "life celebrants" we interviewed. Lisa was very good with communication via email and phone and more than willing to meet in person. If you're looking for an affordable, down-to-earth officiant for a uniquely personal ceremony, you can't go wrong with Reverend Lisa Bruecks!

Lisa was wonderful to work with. She met with us three times before the wedding. She was never pushy and just wanted to make sure she did exactly what we wanted. After the first meeting she left a binder with us that had all sorts of options. Both pre-made ceremonies we could chose from, and individual sections that we could piece together ourselves (with plenty of options for each section). The second meeting we went over all our decisions, and the third meeting we went through the ceremony that Lisa had put together from our selections.

One thing that really stood out to us, was Lisa also left us each with some questions to answer about our relationship and each other. She then took those answers and incorporated them into the ceremony. It was a nice little personalized surprise for both of us. It felt like we got to write our own vows, without actually having to nervously try to read them in front of everyone. This simple addition really made the ceremony that much more special and memorable for us.

Both my husband and I work during the day, but she was more than willing to meet in the evening during the week or on the weekend (basically whenever we were available). And she came to our house, which was even more convenient! Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

Reverend Lisa Bruecks is a very pleasant, professional officiant, that married my husband and I over the summer. When she read our vows to us, it was like she really knew us without knowing us. She was also a life saver too. She found us an alternate covered pretty place to get married at as our original place we picked would have gotten rained out. She was very affordable in price and a joy to be around. If you are looking for all of these qualities that I have named in a officiant, then Reverand Lisa Bruecks is the best choice.

Reverend Lisa conducted the ceremony for our baby's Baptism and was excellent! She was very responsive when I first reached out to her and our experience from that point on was very positive. She created a beautiful ceremony with some very nice touches including making our daughter a very pretty, personalized baptismal candle. I would definitely recommend her for any type of ceremony.

Reverend Bruecks was responsible and on time. She organized a really nice ceremony and helped us on the areas we were unsure about.

We enjoyed our interactions with Lisa. She made our celebration personal, reflect our feelings, and met our needs.

Lisa took time to get to know us, as people; to understand us, our families, and our needs. We enjoyed the service, because it reflected us.

Reverend Lisa was the perfect choice as Officiant for our Wedding this past March 2013. We were impressed from the very beginning --the planning process --as she iniatied several meetings to discuss and review the ceremony along with getting to know us as a couple. She helped us customize every detail of our ceremony so it reflected the style we wanted. On our wedding day she arrived early to discuss last minute details and provide a calming presence. She conducted the ceremony exactly as we had outlined and with the upmost professionalism and warmth. We were extremetly pleased and grateful we were blessed with Reverend Lisa Bruecks.

Lisa was our officiant on Saturday June 14th, 2014. She was incredibly easy to work with and communicated efficiently through e-mails. She organized a sweet and simple non religious ceremony, which was exactly what we wanted. It couldn't have been much easier!
