Kris was the first call when we needed an officiant in a short turnaround! We thought a friend or family member could officiant our wedding, but we wanted to go with someone who is professional and organized while still adding a personalized feel. Kris was all of that plus some! Just meeting with her for a short time we could easily tell she was the best person for the job - extremely humble, personable and gave us exactly what we asked for. She gave us the option to have a serious ceremony or more light-hearted, we asked for something in between and she absolutely nailed it! Many guests have told us how touching the ceremony was. In the brief 20 minutes she was able to touch on religion, traditional vows, personalized vows, meaningful symbolism and personal touches about the each of us. It felt like a family member did our ceremony after all, not a total stranger. Thank you Kris! Don't look elsewhere, she has all the details down from what we wanted her to wear to moving for the first kiss.

Amazing Wedding Ceremony!
Kris was absolutely fantastic when it came to planning and executing our wedding ceremony! Not only did she provide insightful ideas on how to combine both of our faiths, but she was so flexible and understanding and worked through us postponing our wedding date due to Covid. We received so many compliments after the ceremony commenting on how personal and beautiful it was. I would recommend Kris in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a wedding officiant. Kris wrote a beautiful heartfelt ceremony for our wedding day! She really asked so many questions during our first skype call with her. She truly seemed interested in our story and enjoyed getting to hear about our love story and what we are like as a couple! Not knowing what a ceremony really entail, she really laid it all out for us to understand and gave us some excellent options of things to add. She was always very responsive to any questions I had. Everyone really loved the hand ribbon part of the ceremony. If you are looking for someone to really capture your love story and make it into an unforgettable ceremony, definitely go with Kris!

Our venue recommended we reach out to Kris ahead of our wedding and we were so happy we did! During our first meeting Kris took the time to get to know both of us and then gave suggestions on ideas for our ceremony. She put together a draft and worked with us on it until we felt it was absolutely perfect! She did a rehearsal with us the day before our wedding - helped ease some of our pre ceremony jitters. The ceremony the day of went perfectly! She even gave us helpful instructions prior to our wedding on how to get our marriage license and then also information on how we get our marriage certificate after we got back from our honeymoon. Kris Bruno, where do I begin?! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing you are both as a wedding officiant and as a person in general!!! I am so beyond happy that I found you on the Knot. I knew when Taylor and I first met you that you were the perfect officiant match for us! We had our initial meeting with Kris and everything went so smoothly. Yes, we talked about how Taylor and I met, what we're doing for our wedding, etc., but we also talked as if we had been friends for years! We just clicked! From there, she got our wedding ceremony out to us very quickly (we had it over a year in advance). The first time I read it, I cried. Kris has such a natural talent. We waited until about 1 month before the wedding to meet with her again when we had things finalized. Instead of a finalization meeting, it truly just felt like we were grabbing coffee with a friend. Per my request, she came to our rehearsal dinner. At this time, she filled out all of the paperwork so we didn't have to worry about it wedding day. She honestly fit in so well with our family and friends that night. Taylor and I were so nervous to read our personal vows, but Kris does everything to make you feel comfortable. She reads your vows before the wedding day and has tissues up at the altar just in case. I read the ceremony a million times before the wedding day, and on the wedding day I was still speechless hearing it. It was honestly the most beautiful wedding ceremony I have ever heard (I could be biased, but even my guests said so)! Kris is the perfect officiant for anyone. She is so talented and can create a beautiful ceremony for any occasion. I promise you will not be disappointed!

More than we dreamed!
Kris was an absolute pleasure to work with! The ceremony is the most important part of the wedding (in our opinion) and we wanted an officiant who would reflect our love in the most genuine way possible. We loved Kris from the start when we met her at a nearby cafe for a consultation. She got to know us as a couple and then wrote the most beautiful ceremony script for us to review! She was always responsive to our emails with questions or quick edits and sent us reminders and thorough instructions about how to apply for our marriage license (one less thing to worry about)! On the day of the wedding, Kris arrived an hour ahead of time to go over some last minute details and then officiated the beautiful ceremony she wrote for us. Her genuine passion for celebrating love was evident and many of our guests commended her and asked how we found such an amazing officiant. We loved our officiant!
Most people who attend weddings focus on the food, the venue, the hotel, etc. but never remember the officiant. I can say that Rev. Kris Bruno did such an AMAZING job people complimented on our officiant!!! Her overall demeanor and elegance during a wedding ceremony really stood out to people. She was amazing throughout the entire process making sure that our ceremony fit to what our needs were, making suggestions, changes and constantly following up. When our rehearsal had to be at a dinner venue she met us there to make sure everyone knew what they had to do! Even showed up 1.5 hour early to make sure everyone was in their places and the music was all set up for the actual ceremony. Rev. Kris loves her job and you can honestly tell. I couldn't of asked for a better person to be apart of the biggest part of our day. We felt our ceremony fit us perfectly and was everything we could of asked for. Thank you so much!!!

Best decision we made!
From the first moment that we spoke with Kris, we knew we wanted her to be our officiant! We had actually spoken to 2 other officiants prior to Kris and it just didn’t feel right with them. We truly felt that she was excited and happy for us and didn’t even know us! You can tell that she absolutely loves what she does! Our venue wouldn’t allow a rehearsal before the day of the wedding and Kris was so flexible with coming earlier that day to do the rehearsal wth us. She also came prepared with print outs of our vows and the readings so we didn’t have to worry about that detail. She is just a genuinely sweet and kind person on top of all that. You will not go wrong by choosing her as your officiant!

The best officiant!
Kris was AMAZING! We booked her in March for our untraditional elopement in the woods. Due us living far away we face-timed Kris and discussed what we envisioned. Kris wrote up a perfect ceremony and vows that incorporated things personal for us. She even suggested including a hand fasting which was so perfect for us. The Best Ceremony Ever!!!
My wife Cassandra and I were married at The Manor in West Orange in June 2018 and Kris officiated our ceremony. From the very first contact and all the way through our ceremony, Kris blew us away with her attention to detail, personal touches, and genuine care for making this a special happy occasion for us. For the initial meeting, our schedules made it difficult to meet in person so Kris happily arranged a Skype call to discuss the ceremony. We met many people throughout our planning process, and we can honestly say that Kris gave us the best experience of all of them. She took the time to ask us about our story and what we wanted in our ceremony, and we really felt like we “clicked” immediately with her. Kris had excellent suggestions for wording and rituals within the ceremony that really helped us make our decisions. We didn’t even need to talk about it afterwards, we were both in agreement to retain her services within the consult call! After that, Kris quickly drafted her ceremony script and provided us with a copy so we could make sure everything was perfect. Her script was beautiful, and we teared up while reading it because she captured the story of our relationship so wonderfully. The day of the wedding, Kris arrived and was such a calming presence in such a hectic atmosphere. The ceremony went exactly as we discussed, and my wife and I couldn’t have been any happier with how it turned out. Every guest we talked to raved about how amazing Kris was and how it was the best ceremony they had ever been to. We are very particular people and there were certainly aspects of the day that did not go exactly as we hoped, but the ceremony was most certainly not one of them. We would recommend Kris to anyone! Rev. Kris was amazing! We knew Kris was the perfect officiant for us from the very first phone call. She was so warm, helpful, & extremely responsive. We were completely at ease during the entire process. We went in not even knowing what we wanted but Kris was able to magically create the most perfect & fitting ceremony for us based on a couple conversations we had. The ceremony was personal, spiritual, & really captured who we are. Upon meeting Kris in person, we discovered she was just as warm & welcoming as she was during our phone conversations. Our wedding was planned with less than 3 months notice & Kris couldn’t have been more accommodating. She even kept our family company while my wife & I were outside taking pictures by ourselves after the ceremony was over. Our family was totally in love with her. We were beyond thankful to Kris for that. We would recommend Kris to anyone in need of an officiant. She gave us the perfect wedding day & we will never be able to thank her enough.

Wow is all I can say when it comes to using Kris Bruno. She was absolutely amazing from the first time we met her. Referred her to a friend who also agreed how wonderful she was. Kris was absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly and organized right from the beginning. Our ceremony was personal, loving and perfect. She kept in touch with us as time passed to make sure we had everything for both the ceremony and the marriage license prepared. We received so many compliments from our guests ranging from "this was the best ceremony I've seen in years" to "the most emotional ceremony I have seen." Kris is the best! From our initial meeting I knew Kris was going to be perfect to officiant our wedding. Kris is professional, kind, and is an amazing public speaker. Best Day Ever, Thank you Kris!
Our wedding was on 10/26/18 and we couldn't have done it without Kris. From the day we first met her, I knew we were in good hands - Kris gives off such a warm and welcoming vibe, was never pushy, and encouraged us to express ourselves as best we could. Even for a shy, quiet couple like us, the process was made so much easier thanks to her. We were no experts on the whole process so any time I had a question, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly Kris made herself available for me. We got endless compliments from our guests after the ceremony about how much they loved her words and just her vibe in general. I will always look back and remember how the ceremony so perfectly embodied our personalities and love for each other, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. We highly recommend Kris for any couple who wants the same for their wedding.

Perfect Ceremony
We had our wedding at the end of September and could not be more pleased with Rev. Kris! We were sold after first meeting with her almost a year ago and we're SO happy with our choice. Rev. Kris is professional and prepared and made the process of applying for and picking up our marriage certificate so easy to understand. She perfectly captured who we are as a couple and personalized our ceremony to us, making it both thoughtful and funny. Our ceremony was AMAZING and even now, almost a month later, we still have guests telling us how awesome our officiant was and how great the ceremony was. Rev. Kris is the best!

Lovely Ceremony and Easy to get Along with!
Kris is a wonderful officiant. She met with us on a chilly morning and took the time to get to know us before writing a ceremony for us that we immediately loved, and made us both tear up. I found Kris through WeddingWire and she suggested that we get together with her to discuss our wedding. We called Kris on the recommendation of our wedding planner. Kris suggested we meet and get to know each other and discuss our story and our vision. From the start, Kris was so easy to talk with, as if we were old friends. Kris is one of those people who truly encompasses understanding, compassion and professionalism. Her ideas for our ceremony were creative and personalized for us, as though she had known us for years. The readings she suggested, the sand ceremony and love letters to be stored in a champagne tin (which my husband hid the engagement ring in almost two years earlier) to be read on each anniversary brought me to tears, even though I had read it several times. So many guests came over to us after the ceremony and commented on how moving and individualized the ceremony was. That’s what makes Kris so special…..she listens and really hears what couples are saying and then, uses her gift and talent to create the most beautiful, memorable ceremonies.

When you sit for your initial meeting with Rev. Kris Bruno it is like sitting and talking with your best friend. She makes you feel at ease...comfortable.
We knew from the first meeting (and only meeting ever with an officiant) she was the one to marry us. She is a lover of love and that beams off of her. Rev. Kris came up with ideas for our ceremony that were unique for us and different. Many our guest came up and told us how uniquely different our wedding ceremony was. I, personally, have not been to a lot of weddings but I have heard horror stories about the officiant forgetting the bride and groom's names, the ceremony being too long and not personal. Not a ceremony done ny Rev. Kris. Several months before our wedding she sent us a draft of our ceremony. I cried because it was perfect. There was some changes to the ceremony leading up to our wedding date, but Rev. Kris was always accepting and welcoming of those changes. She arrived early to our venue, to be on time. Everyone loved the ceremony and raved about her. It was like having your best friend marrying you because she takes the time to know you as a couple and understand your love story. Even better part is Rev. Kris files your marriage license as part of your services. She explains everything to you and how to go about obtaining it.

Rev. Kris Bruno became our choice shortly after meeting with her. Rev. Kris’ level of professionalism from start to finish is a rarity and my wife and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice!
When we first met with Rev. Kris, she began to ask us questions about how we met, what our interests were, where our beliefs lie, and how we liked to spend time with one another. Right after, she briefly went over some ideas regarding what she might say during the ceremony and it brought my now wife to tears. We knew at that moment that she was the one that we wanted to have officiate our wedding.
Prior to the wedding, Rev. Kris wrote a beautiful ceremony that was both unique and meaningful to us as a couple. She was very thoughtful in that she made sure that members of our family with different backgrounds and beliefs felt welcome. Additionally, she was more than accommodating and willing to work with us with any changes that needed to be made due to family drama. As the wedding approached, Rev. Kris was incredibly helpful in informing us about all of the requirements for obtaining a license, and answering any questions that we had about the process.
Fast forward to the day of our wedding, Rev. Kris really shined. It started pouring and our backup plan forced us to relocate under an overhang, which unfortunately still resulted in Rev. Kris getting rained on, but she didn’t miss a beat. After the ceremony, many of the guests came up to us and commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how moved they were by the vows that she had written for us.
We can’t thank Rev. Kris enough for making our wedding day so special. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an officiant!

From the moment we with met Kris to discuss the potential of officiating our wedding, we were so relieved to have met someone so kind and loving in nature. Just from the first five minutes, we knew our wedding would be in the perfect hands. Kris extended our discussion to dive right into planning. Kris allowed us to create a completely unique wedding ceremony. She took the time to learn our story, understand us individually and as a couple, and develop the feeling we wanted our family and friends to experience. We incorporated both traditional and nontraditional elements in our ceremony, which made our day special for us and our family.
Leading up to our big day, Kris was always willing to help. She allows us to discuss edits and last minute changes to our ceremony. Kris not only supported us in writing our own vows, but also in the legal pieces of the marraige license. Not only did she make sure we were ready for the big day, Kris took the time to get to know our parents and bridal party as well. Kris took care of all our material needs for the ceremony as well. It was so comforting to know that all will be set up and accounted for.
After the ceremony, all of our guests complimented how loving and captivating our ceremony was. They all felt that every piece reflected us as a couple. Our ceremony will be something we will always cherish and that is all thanks to Kris. Kris was a pleasure to work with through emails and in person. We give Kris our highest recommendation!

Choosing someone to officate such an event was overwhelming especially when you are getting married in another state. But Rev Kris Bruno made it extremely easy, since my now Husband and I couldn’t make it to NJ to meet with her before the big day she face timed with us. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She tailored our wedding ceremony to our personal needs and even gave wonderful suggestions for us to add something different and unique to the ceremony. Kris was fabulous and I HIGHLY recommend her! Kris married my husband and I on May 11th and we are so glad we chose to work with her. Kris genuinely cares about the couples she works with and it is evident when she presents her personalized wedding ceremony. When we met with Kris for our initial meeting she asked great questions to capture the essence of our relationship and incorporated so many nuances from our conversation in the ceremony. She was so helpful and gave great advice. We decided to incorporate our own vows, the wine box and love letter ceremony, and the hand fasting ceremony. Kris helped us navigate family dynamics and find a balance between what would make our families happy and still kept true to our relationship. When I received the ceremony I cried while reading it because it was so heartfelt. Kris was extremely responsive and as we got closer to the wedding she sent me info for marriage license application and helped me determine processional order. The day of she even sent me a super sweet text letting me know how excited she was for us. All our guests were raving about the ceremony and there was not one dry eye in the room. I can't recommend her enough!! If you want a vendor you can trust and that will do everything to make sure your ceremony is memorable, do yourself a favor and choose Kris!

Rev. Kris was great; by far the best officiant we've ever met (and there were a lot!) From beginning to end, she made the whole process so wonderful and easy. She is pleasant, easy going, and so flexible. She really worked with us to make our ceremony exactly as we wanted. We originally talked on the phone and immediately clicked. Kris is so personable, warm, and emits such positive energy. We had talked with at least 10 other officiants before her, but from the moment we started talking, we knew right away we wanted to hire her. After one conversation, she was able to formulate a ceremony that was perfect for us. She really made sure to ask our story and get to know us in order to personalize our ceremony. We revised the words a few times, then also met up with her in person to finalize everything. When she arrived for the wedding, she made sure to check in with both of us and also ensure everything was set up for the ceremony. She made us feel at ease, and all our guests said she was so wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant, and Rev. Kris is worth every penny!! We are so grateful to have met. I absolutely could not be happier with our ceremony, and the entire process of working with Kris. From our first meeting, she made us so comfortable, and ensured that we were getting the exact ceremony that we wanted. She is punctual, organized, and sent us a copy of our ceremony 6 months before the actual date, which was unbelievable. This gave us time to make changes, and really ensure that the ceremony was personalized and fit us as a couple. On the day of the ceremony she took care of all of our needs regarding our marriage license, communicated with all of our vendors, and checked in with us to make sure there were no last minute changes. After our ceremony we got SO many compliments about how it was something a little different than the usual ceremony, and that it really reflected us as a couple. Our wedding was 11 days ago, and we are still over the moon about the whole night, and it all began with the ceremony!

Kris was amazing to work with. From the moment we met her we felt strongly that we would ask her to officiate our wedding. We met her only once and from that meeting and a couple of other emails she was able to completely encapsulate who we are individually and as a couple. She is very communicative and easily accessible by email and text. Her voice is calm and soothing and for someone like me who is easily affected by large crowds and loud noises it was important to find someone with those characteristics. We received a version of our ceremony within a couple of months of signing a contract and she was willing to make any changes that we requested. We started out with three different rituals. After reading through the ceremony we decided to take out two of the rituals and just incorporate hand fasting because the words and the symbolism meant more to me and my husband. Kris was completely fine with taking out these rituals and also made several suggestions for readings that once again captured the essence of who we are together and individually. She is sincere and genuine and you just feel like you have known her forever. We received compliments all evening from our family and friends on how beautiful the ceremony was and people could not believe that she was able to glean all that she did about us with one meeting and email correspondence. The ceremony sets the tone for the rest of the wedding and she created an atmosphere of love and affection that lasted all night long.

She was very accommodating in our request to keep the ceremony a surprise, and a pleasant surprise it was! We were so impressed by Reverend Kris Bruno’s service at our wedding. We found her on Thumbtack. Five minutes after we sent the message of interest we got back an offer for a phone call or meeting to review our needs.
We called several days later. She reviewed her background, asked questions, and came back the same day with a proposed wedding ceremony for our review and comment. She told us everything we needed to do to get the Marriage License, the witnesses, documentation required, how and where she would file the license, how may days it would take to complete the process.
The day of the wedding she arrived exactly as promised, in professional attire, managed the marriage certificate process with the witnesses and explained how she would be filing and when we should expect everything to be ready. She also walked us through the ceremony step by step. She coordinated with our DJ and then she conducted the ceremony in a reassuring manner – prompting us perfectly through our vows, a short but meaningful sermon, and finally the marriage itself.
Most importantly - Reverend Bruno personalized the service, and made us feel perfectly comfortable through the entire process. We felt like we’d known her and trusted her for years.

Well, what can I say, Kris was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. When we first found Kris online she immediately stood out to me as professional, especially after reading the reviews. Being in England at the time and only being able to communicate via email, I needed someone I could trust to be responsive and as helpful as possible in terms of the structure of our ceremony. As soon as we met Kris for a consultation, we knew immediately that she was the person we needed to marry us. She drove hours out of her way to meet us outside of Philadelphia. Kris really helped us create our perfect ceremony. She listened to or love story, and wrote a beautiful service that really made our guests feel like they were in the presence of true love. She was professional, on time, flexible and so sweet. My new husband and guests had nothing but AMAZING things to say about her :):)

First and foremost, I could not have had a better person officiating the wedding than Kristine. She was beyond amazing and made my husband and I feel completely at ease while we were up at the alter. She had such a personal connection through our story when we first met with her to go over what we would like to do during the ceremony. She took both of our feelings for one another and molded it into a beautifully composed timeline of our relationship. She really does the upmost best to connect with her clients, that you feel as if she has been a friend for years. I am and will definitely be recommending her to all future brides and friends. She was wonderful!
