Very knowledgeable

Rev. York was amazing. She had plenty of good templates for us to choose from for our ceremony. Everybody loved our ceremony, they were telling us they cried because it was so beautiful. We loved our ceremony as well. She also made rehearsal a breeze. I was absolutely clueless on the processional order and who was walking with who and she just took control and made it so easy for us. She’s very funny and fun to work with. We had a wonderful wedding ceremony because of her. I would definitely recommend her! She was also very affordable!

Rev. Gale saved the day!

We came to Rev. Gale one week before our wedding after our other officiant plans fell through. She was very responsive and was more than happy to help! She is so kind and really helped us stay calm through the process. She sent us customizable templates for our ceremony and it turned out absolutely beautiful. She has such a wonderful energy and truly cares about her couples. We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Rev. Gale!! Thank you so much!

Would Definitely Recommend!

My wedding planner helped me find Reverend Gayle and I’m so thankful it turned out the way it did. She was perfect for our wedding at Kaya. We were easily able to customize our ceremony reading from templates she emailed and she was available for our rehearsal as well. 10/10 would recommend her!

Highly recommend using Reverend Gale!

Gale was great and highly recommended! We had a small ceremony at our home in October, and Gale nailed it. We had to change from an outdoor to an indoor wedding at the last minute due to some weather, so we were a bit out of sorts, but Gale handled it like a pro. She helped us put together a wedding script that was perfect for us, and offered lots of suggestions to help us fill in the gaps. She was super helpful on the day of and did everything she could to make the ceremony proceed smoothly. Highly recommend!

Reverend Gail was very easy to work with. I forgot to send in what ceremony I wanted. She had what I needed for my wedding, so it was perfect.

Gail is awesome. She was on time, pleasant and did a great job marrying me and my fiancée. Would definitely recommend her for your wedding.

Great Pick for finding an Officiant

We had a strong feeling from the beginning we wanted to have Rev. Gale as our ceremony officiant. She was calm, kind, helpful and flexible in what could have been a stressful rush to "perfect" everything. She aided us in setting up a custom ceremony. She was flexible in helping set up a last minute ceremony with several moving pieces (the who, the when, and the where). I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone I know that is in the market for a wedding ceremony officiant. She was just what we needed.

Experienced and lovely Reverend

Gale, what an amazing Reverend! She thought of details such as candles, lighters, things I never even considered and truly saved the day. She also kept us on track before and during the ceremony. Gale has a calm demeanor, she put everyone at ease. Prior to our ceremony, her communication was superb and she always went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared prior to the big day. I feel like we made a friend with Gale! Thanks again!

A Real Gem!

Rev Gale is a wonderful officiant! She married me and my spouse and was flexible and very in tune to our needs. I highly recommend her! She is also LGBTQ friendly and works with this community.

Gale was the most perfect officiant for our wedding of 100 or so guests at the Carl House. We cannot rave enough about her! Over the months leading up to our wedding she took the time to get to know us as a couple and to help us plan our perfect ceremony. She was absolutely essential to our rehearsal helping us stay organized and relaxed! On our wedding day she conducted a beautiful ceremony and helped us to enjoy every moment. We cannot thank her enough, and we give her our highest recommendation!!

All I can say is WOW! Reverend York was amazing! Not only did she exceed our expectations, she did it in the most professional way! My wife and I had a rowdy bunch of groomsmen and bridesmaids, and she handled all we could give her and never missed a beat! Reverend York is awesome! Her rates are very reasonable, and she has several different ceremonies to choose from, from non-traditional to very traditional, or she'll help you design your own. She helped make our ceremony perfect! She was right on time, very accommodating, and even prepared for technical difficulties (we had music equipment for singing during our ceremony), in case our equipment failed and she had to take over.

I cannot speak highly enough of Rev. York. She completely personalized our ceremony and gave it such an intimate feel. Many of our wedding guests commented on how beautiful our ceremony was. We did not want a traditional ceremony, we actually had 2 ceremonies, 1 being just between us (my husband, Myself and Gale) in downtown Roswell and the other ceremony was up in Dahlonega and included our children. Reverend York helped us coordinate everything, allowing us to feel relaxed and enjoy our marriage ceremony. Thank you, Reverend York, for making this special day perfect.

Reverend York was absolutely sweet, professional, and perfect for us. She was incredibly thoughtful from start to finish, from her flexibility on how the ceremony would proceed to her thought and care to make sure she pronounced our names perfectly! To top it off, she had a friend in the audience taking pictures, which she shared with us right after the wedding and were some of the first pictures we were able to get from anyone. Just lovely. Gale helped keep our ceremony as relaxed as possible. I met with her weeks before hand and spent more time talking with her about life than I did the wedding. She knows her stuff inside and out with a special skill to easily cater your vows to your desires. I thank God we found Gale. Our wedding was beyond even my wildest imagination. Reverend Gale was everything and more I could have asked for. Helped guide me to the ceremony we wanted, was open to customizing the service to fit with our personalities. The day is one I'll never forget. She was very kind and patient with changes in time which we had at the last minute. The ceremony was flawless. Highly recommend her for such a very important day is someones life.

Gail was so cool, calm and collected on the day of my wedding it was exactly what I needed from her!! And she was by far the most reasonably priced of all the officiants I looked into. Reverend Gayle York has been a real gift in our life. We were looking for a non-denominational wedding officiant, and although she performs Christian weddings, was flexible as we navigated thru the wedding planning process and she made it very easy for us to craft our own ceremony - she sent us a few different documents with ceremony outlines for us to pick and choose from.
I was able to add just the things I wanted, adjust the wording to better suit our needs and to let her be the expert on the best way to take certain steps.
Our large family guest ceremony was made absolutely perfect by her attention to what we wanted - including her taking the lead when I said, "Okay, let's do this" to start the ceremony.
Her voice carries well without being overbearing and her experience with over 1000 wedding ceremonies (maybe even more than 1500 now!) really comes thru with the way she words each section of the ceremony.
This woman is the real deal - I highly recommend working with her if you want your wedding to be special, spiritual and just what you might not have realized you wanted.

Reverend York was just what we needed for our wedding. I didnt schedule an officient until a month before my date. She was able to schedule a time to personally meet with my fiance and I before the event. She explained all of the options and detail and assured us that we would be able to customize as needed and even schedule a rehearsal.

Our wedding was outside and non-religious. We were able to customize every word of the ceremony to make it especially personal. Rev York was prompt, attentive, and even did a quick 'run-through' for the nervous groom. It was exactly what we needed.

Reverand Gale York was a joy to work with from our first meeting. She was kind, professional, and very accommodating as to what we wanted for our small and intimate service. We loved her suggestions on how to incorporate my daughter into the ceremony and her willingness to let my daughter do a reading during the ceremony even though this was a last minute addition on the day of the wedding. Reverand Gale was exactly what we wanted in an officiant and more. I would recommend her and the wonderful service she provides to anyone who is getting married.

August 11, 2012 was a special and memorable day for us, the day when we took our vows to be permanently bonded together in marriage, in the presence of our family members and dear friends. The process for choosing a minister for your wedding can be difficult with all kinds of services offered to new couples. Rev Gale could not have been more perfect for us and what we desired for our wedding day. She was very professional, non nonsense and organized. She listened to what we wanted and steered us in the right direction. the ceremony was perfect and she helped to make it that way. Very stress free!

Reverend York is a fantastic marriage officiant, and I recommend her to all. My wife and I come from different cultural backgrounds. When we searched for an officiant, we looked from someone that was willing to customize a ceremony that fit our diverse roots. We knew from the get go that Reverend York was the right match. We enjoyed working with Reverend Gale York, because she was very flexible about her schedule and we loved her energy towards making our wedding perfect. She gave us many ideas for different types of Ceremonies and Rituals which helped us decide which one was the best for us. I also respected the fact that she responded to emails in a quick manner. It made my life easier as a bride, not to always be on the phone. Reverend Gale York, was worth every penny. She was there when I needed her and she helped coordinate the wedding with my Platinum Package. During our Rehearshal , she made sure we all knew our parts and that we were satisified with the results. I felt very comfrotable being around her and she made me in the end a very happy bride. Rev Gale did a great job. We really liked that she had several ceremony options to choose from(religious, traditional & contemporary) & we were able to combine the aspects that we liked about each of them to suit us perfectly. We wanted a short, simple traditional ceremony, and Rev. York provided it for us at a very reasonable rate. Rev. York met with us, and within about 2 minutes we knew we wanted her doing the ceremony. Her friendliness, upbeat and cheerful personality, and attention to detail, made the decision easy.
On our wedding day, Rev York met with each of us, and ran through what we needed to do. Since it was a very low budget affair, we had no done a rehearsal..and Rev York was so very helpful before the event and day of, making sure we had everything right. We both feel she went well above and beyond what her fee is.
It didn't feel like an "officiant" was marrying us...Rev York made it feel like one of our closest friends was there.

Rev. Gale York was perfect for our wedding. She let us choose from many options to create our own ceremony with our own beliefs. Unfortunately we were not able to have a rehearsal together because of another booking, but she made sure she was there extra early on our wedding day to make sure everything was right. The other thing that stuck out to me was that she wanted to meet us in person and talk to us. It was nice to have someone care like she did.

Gale and her husband came to my wedding all the way from Atlanta to Knoxville, TN. She is the most accommodating, organized, well-spoken officiant I have ever seen and I have been in 7 weddings in the last 4 years. She had amazing suggestions and examples. Coming from a technology background I found it very cool that I first met Gale through Skype and I knew she was the right person for our wedding right away.

When my fiance and I got engaged, we realized neither of us had a "home church" in the Atlanta area. Neither of our parents or close relatives live here, either, so we were stumped on choosing an officiant. When we met Gale, I felt like I'd known her for years. She was warm, funny, maternal (a comfort to a bride away from her family), but also very professional. She spoke with us in detail about the ceremony choices she offered, and was willing to tweak the details to be sure that we got a ceremony meaningful to us. On our wedding day, guests complimented us several times on the sincerity and beauty of our ceremony. I was, admittedly, an emotional bride who boo-hooed her way through the entire thing! Gale was there with a calm, reassuring voice, gently reminding me to take a breath, and handing me tissues when necessary! This is the sort of service you (hopefully) only need once, but I will highly recommend her to other couples!

Rev. Gale was not only helpful and accommodating, she was so friendly and down-to-Earth. We only saw her three times: meeting with her for the very first time, the rehearsal, and then the actual wedding, and all three times, it felt like we'd known her for years.

She is witty and kind - she looks you in the eyes when she is talking to you, and has a wonderful sense of humor. When I was nervous, she made sure to talk to me and calm me down, both before AND during the ceremony! She is so sweet and was such a pleasure to work with. She was extremely responsive in both emails and phone calls. We will miss her and hope everyone books her for their wedding!

Rev. Gale was wonderful! She was so accomodating and had lot's of wonderful suggestions for personalizing our ceremony. We met with her several times via phone and she couldn't have been nicer. We planned our wedding in a very small amount of time and didn't make our final wishes for the ceremony known until a few days before the wedding. Rev. Reverend York arrived early and went over what would happen during wedding. She even wentout of her way to make sure there was a phone on connected to my mother who could not make it but could hear it over the phone. She suggested that she take group pictures with my camera after so that everyone who was there could be in it. All in all I would say she was worth having there.

We were without an officiant a month or so before our wedding. We found Rev. Gale on WeddingWire and setup a meeting with her. We immediately knew that she would be perfect to join us together in the bond of marriage.

Reverend Gale M. York was the perfect person to officiate our wedding on 09/18/10 at Lake Lanier Islands Resort. We could not have been happier with her services! We booked Rev. York during our first meeting with her, we knew within the first five minutes she was the person we wanted to marry us. We couldn't have asked anyone better to officiate our wedding. Rev Gale even coordinated our wedding at the last hour! Everyone was still running around and getting ready. We didn't have time to rehearse and discuss the walks with any of the wedding party. Rev Gale went after everyone and to let them know how the wedding is going to work out and where to walk and with whom. She was very professional, calm, and collected despite issues that we had. It was coordinated beautifully. I didn't know what was going on until I walked down the aisle. Rev Gale had already worked it out with everyone. She kept us calm and was very helpful. I don't know how our wedding would have turned out without Rev Gale! Thank you again!

Rev. Gale was a great officiant for our wedding. She was accommodating and helpful. We wrote our ceremony from scratch using some of her material as a template, and she was happy to help. The day of was where she really went beyond the call of duty, helping get people prepared, calm, remembering some of the small things we forgot, and providing helpful suggestions. She was really on top of things and it let us breathe a lot easier and enjoy our ceremony, which she officiated professionally and with composure.

Rev. York was fantastic! She has a very agreeable attitude and a calming presence, which really helps at such a stressful time. She worked with a good friend of mine to coordinate our rehearsal and ceremony, as we did not hire a professional coordinator - they did a great job! She stayed calm, cool, and collected throughout the ceremony, even when the DJ accidentally started blaring rap music during our vows, and in turn helped us to stay calm! She was also very flexible with our ceremony wording requests. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant in the Atlanta area.

We wanted someone who would be supportive of our LGBT union; someone kind, open and professional. Gale was exactly the officiant we were looking for. Highly recommend!

I found Reverend York on Wedding Wire while searching for a non-denominational officiant online. We spoke with several officiants and found Gale to be extremely warm, professional and flexible. She was kind enough to meet with us in person before we selected her and after we signed an agreement, Rev. York sent us several ceremony options. Not being a religious couple, we selected a contemporary service, which we were able to customize with a hands ceremony, plus the addition of my aunt who read a blessing. The ceremony start to finish was no more than 20 minutes, which was perfect for us. Rev. York happily participated in our rehearsal and really brought a lovely uniqueness to our wedding day. We appreciated her willingness to customize our ceremony and vows, which received a number of compliments from our guests. We are so thankful we found her and would highly recommend her.

Reverend Gale York was a pleasure to work with. I met with another Reverend as well and after meeting with Rev. York we picked her that very moment. I felt a connection with her and she seemed very light and warm, not stuffy how some Reverends/Pastors can come across. She always emailed me back and answered any questions I had. She showed up on time, looked great and made us feel very comfortable. Everything went smoothly and beautiful, even without a rehearsal (we didn't have one because our ceremony was small & intimate, no wedding party). I don't think any couple wanting to get married can go wrong when chosing her.

Gale is excellent! We used her because she officiated my sister's wedding, and my (now) DH and I were pleased with the job she did. She traveled all the way to middle Georgia to officiate our ceremony, and we were very grateful that she was willing to do that even though she is based in the Atlanta area. She showed up early to the rehearsal and the day of and was more prepared than we were! Highly recommend!

Reverend Gale speaks very eloquently, presents herself wonderfully, and can handle a wide range of personality types. I loved her ceremony, and her smile was beautiful in the photos.

Reverend York put me at ease from the very first contact I had with her. She answered all of our questions without hesitation and kept us calm during our hectic time. Several friends and family members commented on how great she was both during the rehearsal and the actual ceremony. I'm never getting married again, but if I was, I would use her again!

Rev. Gale was a fantastic addition to our wedding day ceremony and celebration. From our first meeting and introducing her to us as a couple, we were able to design the sound of our ceremony from the foundation provided to us by Rev. Gale. This made our ceremony unique to us and very meaningful - her interpretation and navigation of the various spiritual paths and beliefs allowed us to include those that are the most meaningful to us, as well as to ensure that all of our guests felt included in the ceremony.

I found out the week off the wedding that there was an additional charge for her to attend the rehersal. Who does that? Also she showed up 30 minutes before the ceremony started, panicked and bombarding me with questions. Then she went to groom and started bombarding him with questions. She was trying to change everything around. The ceremony was fine no major blunders. But everyone in the wedding party knew what was going on except the officiant. It was obvious to everyone. We paid $300 for what I considered poor service. It didn't feel like there was any emotional connection while reading the script. I felt like she rushed out vows. She didn't attend the rehersal and showed up 30 minutes before the ceremony. Very unprofessional. She should have been there much earlier. I would not recommend her to anyone.
