Allison and the whole Reveal team were SO wonderful in making my large wedding party (9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 4 groomsladies) look utterly stunning for my wedding on 12/29/19!
They were super efficient, wonderfully professional, and very accommodating (even letting us add-on hair and makeup on the day of for our flower girl! Communication was always excellent and prompt, and payment was easy with their easy-to-use online invoices.
I'm not much of a girly girl so I really appreciated how Allison and Jenny worked together to help me come up with the perfect bridal look and were so patient through it all (even my mini meltdown on the big day)! Allison made thoughtful adjustments from our hair and makeup trial to pick a look that suited me, such that I really felt like myself on my wedding day, and looked my best!!
The whole team was truly amazing from start to finish, and made the morning fun while were were all getting ready together! I could not recommend them any more strongly- these ladies are PHENOMENAL! -

The entire team at Reveal was great to work with. I originally had a hard time finding someone who offered services for just the bride. Luckily I came across Reveal in the San Diego location. I submitted an inquiry for more information, and got a response within 24 hours, booking was quick and easy, their FAQ's page online answered most of my questions and they were happy to answer any additional ones I had. When it got closer to the wedding day, they were in touch via email to get inspiration photos for the big day. Gabi showed up on time, and got all set up to get started. She was lovely to work with and made me feel at ease. My hair and makeup turned out great and lasted the entire night. I would highly recommend the Reveal team to any bride looking for a stress free experience!

Reveal did such a fantastic job with my wedding hair and make-up. I showed just a few photos and described the overall “vibe” of what I wanted, and Zoe just nailed it right from the start. She was sweet and fun, and I really enjoyed her being a part of my big day. She gave the perfect amount of “hold” to my hair—it relaxed and looked just how I wanted it to from ceremony to send-off.
Raven was phenomenal as well. She had such a calming presence and really listened and thought about what I wanted. So much so that she convinced me to change my mind from airbrush to normal foundation so my natural skin could shine through to achieve the more relaxed look that I was going for.
Logistically, everything was super smooth. Zoe and Raven were punctual and worked at a natural pace, taking just the right amount of time. I was able to pay and tip online, which I appreciated, as I was already taking out so much cash to tip other vendors.
Overall, I’m very happy with Reveal, and would definitely recommend them (especially Zoe and Raven!) for your wedding hair and make-up. The price is worth it, and I personally recommend paying the extra $$ for the trial. I was able to tell Zoe that my hair held the curl really well so we went a little looser the day-of, and I was able to tell Raven that I wanted a little less setting powder on my under eyes because it dried them out a bit. Little things like that that are personal to you are good to know so you can perfect things on the day-of. Of course, I’m sure they could have made those changes the day-of, but there is enough to stress about that day. It was worth the extra money to me to have the peace of mind that I knew I would love the look. -

Absolutely wonderful
This company is so amazing to work with, I met with them for a trial in July and they were amazingly accommodating. Then for our wedding day they were so sweet and wonderful to my family and wedding party. I started crying a little and they were able to help calm me down and fix my makeup. I dont wear a lot of make up and wanted to feel natural yet dolled up and they made the look effortless and I felt so beautiful. 10/10 recommend -

Amazing Team
Reveal hair and makeup was recommended to me by my wedding planner and working with Reveal team was amazing. Communication was easy and they were very flexible with the changes that were made for my wedding. Sherry did my hair & makeup trial as well as my hair & makeup for my wedding. She was the sweetest and my hair and makeup was everything I wanted for my wedding. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and makeup as well. Highly recommend them for your special day! -

I highly recommend Reveal Hair & Makeup for your wedding, event, or photoshoot! We had a destination wedding on Oahu and despite living out of state, Allison & her team were organized and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. For my hair and makeup trial, I showed a few reference photos, and they not only understood exactly what I was looking for, but they made suggestions and made it look even better than I imagined. On the day of our wedding, their team was at our hotel bright and early, and was such a pleasant start to our wedding day. They were organized and professional, but were friendly and made the getting ready process so much fun for myself and my bridal party. The hair and makeup looked gorgeous and natural and held up nicely throughout the entire day, despite a bit of wind, light rain, and some happy tears. As a wedding photographer, I work with many hair and makeup artists for weddings and photoshoots, but the skill level, attention to detail, and friendly staff makes Reveal stand out as one of the best I’ve worked with! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day I can't thank these ladies enough! They did hair/makeup for myself, my moms, and bridesmaids. There was a road closure that occurred the night before our wedding and I was so thankful for their quick communication. All the ladies drove over an 1 hr 30 min (at the last minute) to accommodate us. 10/10 recommend, don't look no further! Check out their instagram page. -

I did a hair and makeup trail with Sherry, which was awesome! We did a couple of looks and she executed the "natural no makeup" look perfectly on the day of my wedding. It was also such a windy day, but the curls in my hair were still completely intact until the next morning and she secured my veil on pretty well. My mom and MIL rarely wear makeup, but Sherry and her team did such a fantastic job with making them and my girls feel comfortably and beautiful. We had so much fun getting ready with them. Allison and her team are absolutely amazing and easy to work with. I booked with reveal hair and makeup for my welcome dinner and my wedding day — both times they conveniently came to my hotel room and all I had to do was pay for their parking. Their prices are very affordable. I have been in multiple weddings in the past so I am far from new to having my hair & makeup done. Their work was hands down the best I have ever had. My makeup on my wedding day looked exactly the same by the end of the day after crying, dancing and sweating. Their natural look for hawaii weddings is the best I have ever seen. My skin which normally is oily never had this issue even in the humidity of an outdoor wedding. My hair was beyond my expectations. My hair always gets frizzy but Allison took care of that on my wedding day! It was a dream hairstyle for my Hawaiian wedding… I was blown away. I’m attaching photos for my welcome dinner and my wedding as I still cannot get over how amazing they are! Thank you so much! -

Amazing!
Love the ladies of Reveal Hair and Makeup! They did my make up for my wedding along with my bridesmaids and mother. They were punctual on arrival and had us ready with time with just enough time to spare. They really had it perfectly timed out. I had a hard time picking hair and make up for my big day. A lot of H&MU artists I saw had photos in their portfolio of brides with really caked on make up and stiff looking hair so it was refreshing to find Allison and her team. Everyone looked amazing on my wedding day! My make up and hair held up the whole day and night. The team was nice and personable and I am so pleased with my whole experience with them. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose Reveal in a heartbeat and I would highly recommend them! -

This is a long overdue review! I had my destination wedding a few months ago in July and I had the opportunity to get my hair done by Brittany. Her work was seriously AMAZING! I did not have a bridal trial prior to my wedding, and I just showed her a picture of a hairstyle I was interested in, and she more than exceeded my expectations. She is a natural and pro at what she does, and I couldn't be any more happier with the results. I received lots of compliments on my hair, and the curls stayed all night long. Brittany, THANK YOU for the amazing work you did! To all the future brides, book Reveal Hair & Makeup! They are SO responsive, and the entire booking process was easy. I can not say enough They did my wedding hair and makeup. I had a list of rules my partner gave on how he wanted certain things and it ticked every box. I could not believe how stunning I looked. And my hair and makeup held up perfectly even tho there was strong wind and light rain.

Highly recommend! Loved my hair and makeup!
My photographer suggested Reveal Hair and Makeup for our elopement in Oahu. I could not have been happier!!!! I loved Jenny, she was so friendly and really understood how I wanted my hair and makeup. I loved how everything looked plus she came to my hotel room to help me get ready. My husband and I climbed a mountain to get ready and my hair and makeup were still perfect when I got to the top! Highly recommend -

Allison was simply amazing! Everything from the initial contact, to my trial hair and then the big day. She made everything so perfect and she really listened to exactly what I wanted as well as what my bridesmaids wanted. She fixed anything that we were uncomfortable with and truly didn't finish until we were 100% satisfied with our hair! Not only did she make our hair look perfect, she was so fun to be around and chat with! It honestly felt like another bridesmaid getting ready with us. I couldn't recommend her more! -

Professional, dependable & the best
Reveal is a genuinely nice team of wonderful make up artist. Alison and her team helped make our wedding day everything we imagined and more. Alison was very quick to respond to emails, communicate and be sure everything was set up to our needs. Jenny, who was my make up artist completed my hair and make up trial before the wedding and she was so easy and fun to work with! They made every part of the process very easy and comfortable. I really wouldn’t chose any other vendor for a wedding!
For my look I wanted a very natural look and a side updo with my hair. I also had 4 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers who’s looks were all completed way before the expected time we needed to be ready on our wedding timeline. The morning of the wedding our 4 bridesmaids and moms came in with pictures of what they wanted to have their hair to look like. Everyone looked so beautiful and we were all very satisfied with the final look. There were a total of 4 makeup artist who came that day, which really made the process easy and we weren’t stressed about not being ready on time.
If you’re looking for a great team of women who are easy to work with and help your getting ready process stress free, I highly suggest you give them a call to inquire about your special event. Then if you’re interested, the hair and makeup trail is $150. I planned to have a dinner that night so My hair and make up was nicely done.

Reveal hair and makeup was all around amazing! They were extremely flexible (including adding services the DAY of my wedding) and super easy to book/reserve. They allowed me to put a deposit down and to pay the rest the day of my wedding, which helped financially. They communicated extremely well and fast regarding my services via e-mail and text. The work they did was amazing - all of my girls had beautiful hair and makeup, which included eyelashes. They listened to what the girls liked and did exactly that. I found their services to be extremely affordable for the location, and it was very convenient that they travel to you. Overall they were very professional and friendly, and we all enjoyed having them as a part of the day. Thanks Reveal! :) -

Allison and her team were fantastic to work with. Our trial run went smoothly and quickly, they were able to come to my in-law’s house and even made my mother-in-law excited to get her makeup and hair done (it’s usually not her thing). On the day of the wedding, they were on time, relaxed, fun to talk to, and professional. Everyone was thrilled with their styling from the mothers to the maids to the little girls. We all looked like photo-ready versions of ourselves, nothing too over the top, just really soft and pretty. It poured right after the wedding and my makeup stayed flawless! Incredible bouquets
I am from Boston but got married in North Oahu and REVEAL was great to work with. I sent photos and they paired me up with stylist Jenny, who was amazing! They responded quickly and even accommodated me changing locations. Jenny was professional but fun to work with and she did EXACTLY what I wanted by looking at 2 pictures. She did both my hair and makeup which was a stress reliever because I was only coordinating meeting with 1 person. I only wish I lived closer so I could use her again! So thankful I used them for my wedding day! -

Deidra Sent on 01/28/2018The team from REVEAL Hair and Makeup were absolutely incredible. They came to my Air BNB and were able to get me ready in no time! My wedding week was very different. Exactly one day before I was going to initially going to get married, we changed the date to the day after the original date. The reason was because Hawaii was going to see one of the most rainy days all day. Because my wedding was outdoors, and we knew the next day was going to be perfect, I agreed with my wedding coordinator to change the days. Luckily Allison and her awesome team were so excited and happy to change the day with out batting an eye!! I was so surprised that we were able to pull it off. On wedding day, my hair and makeup looked GORGEOUS!!!!!! I planned my wedding from the mainland so any floral, hair or makeup would be first seen on the actual wedding day! I was so happy with their work! I wish they lived in Ohio because I would use them all over again every time for anything! They are worth recommending to all of your friends! I used airbrush which came out perfect. My make up was a natural neutral colored style and my hair was unreal! Perfect day thanks to this perfect team! Thank you so much REVEAL!!

Cara Sent on 01/04/2018This is so overdue but better late than never. I cannot say enough about how great this team is!!! Super accommodating, very responsive to emails and FLEXIBLE! From the trial..to my wedding day and the day after it was nothing but a breeze. After my trial i felt a little uneasy and wanted to make adjustments and the day of the wedding they made it happen. no problem. I couldn't be happier truly. They were able to squeeze in my brother in-law to get a bruise under his eye fixed which totally saved us from having sunglasses in our pictures. We also had 6 people (including myself) with either hair and/or makeup services. They got us all done so quick!!!
2 weeks later we were planning a reshoot with our awesome photographer and they squeezed me in for a hair and makeup session. We had to play it by ear due to the weather but they were super flexible. The Team is super easy going and SO fun to be around the chemistry and energy was just what i needed that day.
did i mention it was DUMPING rain the WHOLE day of the wedding? my hair held up so beautifully and definitely flowed. loved it!! The 2nd shoot..it was quite windy for most of the time except the end but my curls didn't flatten out.
I believe in honesty and wouldn't want someone to go through an awful experience on their wedding day. Its crazy enough as it is. I loved working with them and hope to book them for something else or refer them to someone else because they're awesome. Thanks guys!!!!!! -

My fiancée and I booked REVEAL for our professional make-up session prior to our engagement photo shoot later that day. Since we had a sunrise photoshoot timeslot, the team was so kind to come to our hotel quite early in the morning. The results were stunning – (we both went for a “natural beauty” look, given it was morning) and made us feel our best for an exciting day. The make-up lasted all day, despite us trooping all around Oahu’s coast and changing outfits multiple times. Throughout the booking process, the correspondence with REVEAL was very pleasant, accommodating, and timely as we determined which services we’d need, especially considering different time zones and within the busy holiday season. -

Reveal Hair & Makeup did a great job in listening to what my bridal party and moms wanted for their hair and makeup. They gave just enough glam to make everyone look amazing, without changing their natural beauty. As for myself, kudos to Karen for making me look like an amazing bride, and Izumi for my hair which held up the whole day and made me look stunning.
