Perfect Officiant!

We first found Simone when we were searching for an officiant for our destination wedding. We wanted something that would be customized and personal to us, not just a cookie cutter script. We had an initial phone call with her, where we asked her some questions and she asked us some questions, including our love story that brought us to our wedding. After the initial phone call, Simone wrote a draft of our ceremony and sent it to us to look over, and she nailed it! She picked up on core moments in our love story that were meaningful to us and integrated them into our ceremony. As I was looking into services she offered, I discovered that she also offered premarital counseling. This was something that was very important to me to have before marriage. I inquired and Simone gave an overview of the areas she covers during premarital counseling. She also offers this great service at a reasonable rate. We started counseling with Simone and went through a couple of the topics she covers in her program, but even more importantly, she was very open to helping us on current topics we wanted guidance on. We started our search in hopes of finding an officiant who would be open to customizing a ceremony that was personal to us and through the course of our counseling, we developed a friendship with Simone. The ceremony was absolutely perfect and we definitely felt like we were there with a friend!

Rev. Simone Shepard was awesome! We were able to FaceTime for our meetings with her which made it super convenient for our busy schedules (and being a couple+ hrs away from her). She was available for our Thursday evening wedding which was also a plus. She wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and went into great detail getting to know us in order to make sure it fit us perfectly. She was always professional and very responsive to the many emails we exchanged. She arrived the day of the wedding and immediately started coordinating with other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. We are so thankful we came across her and couldn't have been happier with how our ceremony went!

I can't say enough about Simone Shepard , she is the BEST ever ! My husband & I are so blessed to have met her , and share our special day with such a beautiful person. Our wedding day was wonderful not only because of our Love , but because of the true compassionate person Simone was that day and the entire time working with her. Simone was a truly wonderful minister and she made our wedding ceremony perfect! She was so kind and caring, and adapted our ceremony to suit us perfectly. She communicated with us very clearly and efficiently, and answered any question we had along the way. She also coordinated our wedding rehearsal, and the ceremony the day of. My husband and I are so very proud to have had her marry us, and I would recommend her to any loving couple looking for a terrific minister!

Simone was great! I planned my wedding from out of state, so we did everything through Skype. She wrote a beautiful sermon for us after talking with us and truly made it personal. I never felt like she was trying to plug our details into a template. She helped us include everyone in our wedding and even made a few suggestions based off of what she had seen work well in the past. She showed up looking professional and her garments matched well with the wedding party. She travelled from out of town to be there the night before and attend our wedding rehearsal. She showed up to the rehearsal and helped to get everyone into place and organized the rehearsal for us. She was even thoughtful enough to move to the side so our photographer could get a first kiss photo of just my husband and I! I couldn't have been more pleased with our selection in Simone and I got many compliments on how well the ceremony went.

Simone was better than any officiant we could have imagined! We planned our wedding long distance from Arizona and went with our gut feeling to choose Simone rather than other options we saw on Wedding Wire. She video chatted us at least 4 times before the wedding to really get to know us and be able to describe our relationship so accurately at our wedding. After the first call, my husband and I discussed how much we adored Simone and how it was almost weird that she felt like family to us right away. My husband and I don't attend a church regularly and both come from different religious backgrounds. Simone took this information and found a way to make everyone's faith welcome at our ceremony. Choosing Simone was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

I found Rev. Simone on wedding wire and arranged a meeting with her shortly after. Within the first ten minutes, we knew we'd found the perfect person to marry us. Not only is Rev. Simone a funny & sincere person, but she really wants to get to know you and how she can create a ceremony that is perfect for that specific couple. I admit, I was unsure what I wanted in our ceremony, but after meeting with Rev. Simone we were so excited! She nailed it!

Reverend Simone did an amazing job on our ceremony. We met and had about 5 skype sessions throughout the year as we were planning our wedding. Rev. Simone was very accommodating and responsive via email. We had some special requests for our ceremony, we wanted to use some audio from my husband's grandfather in the ceremony ( he was a baptist minister). We sent Reverend Simone hours of audio and she listened to all of it to determine the best clip. She wrote such a beautiful address for us. We trusted her so much that we did not even want to hear the address before the wedding. The entire ceremony was so moving and I have had so many people tell me that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to. Reverend Simone was so kind, sweet, and caring. We honestly could not have asked for a better person to marry us. She was wonderful!

Simone is absolutely phenomenal! She is an amazing, down to earth person to work with. She is very open to any suggestions and changes, as well as open to many different religions and views. My husband and I were very happy to find her and work with her for our ceremony. The ceremony was heartfelt and not stuffy as we liked. We can not speak highly enough about her, and we were amazed with her work!!!! We will recommend anyone we know for her services.

We were married in Estes Park in December, 2014. Simone was professional, sweet and extremely talented. Our ceremony went exactly as planned. She met with us over video-conference multiple times before our big day. She began by asking us questions and figuring out what kind of ceremony we wanted. She gave us her ideas, and then worked with us as we wrote our own and weaved them altogether. She knew exactly what to do for the rehearsal, and the day of the ceremony she helped us all walk through the steps one more time. The actual ceremony was heart-felt, touching and everything we had imagined. Thank you for your wonderful service!

We couldn't have asked for a better officiant to marry us. Simone was wonderful in every way. She worked with us to create the perfect ceremony that was just us. Many of our guests came up to us after saying how beautiful our ceremony was.

Simone was wonderful. We had a problem where our other officiant bowed out, so a month or two ahead of the wedding we were scrambling to find someone.

It all turned out great because Simone stepped in. She spoke clearly and was flexible with our vows. We wanted something less traditional and she provided that in spades. It was wonderful.

If you're thinking about booking her for your ceremony, don't hesitate.

Rev. Simone was great! She was very kind and warm. We loved our ceremony and found it to be very personal to us. Her pre-marital counseling was fantastic. Those rates were very reasonable and allowed us to get to know her, and vice versa, better. I would recommend her again and again!

I don't know where to begin.
We were recommended to Rev. Shepard by family friends. Our first meeting was brief, but she was very pleasant to talk to, and quite professional. She quickly was able to help us create a plan for our ceremony that was not only unique, but adapted several times as we learned more about what we wanted. She was quick to respond, and patient when we needed more time, and always willing to incorporate new ideas without complaint, and often with suggestions that complemented the changes. When the wedding day came, we were struck with a bout of extraordinarily strong weather. In the madness that should have ensued, she helped the party adapt quickly to a change of plans, and delivered an exceptional ceremony. She always managed to keep what we wanted of our voice to show through as a priority, and we still are hearing comments from our guests about how incredible she was. We highly recommend her.

Rev Simone is fantastic! My husband and I considered having a friend marry us because we were new to the area and aren't particularly religious. I'm so glad that we went with a professional! Rev Simone makes you feel like you are the only couple she is working with and works with you to create a ceremony that is truly unique. When the weather didn't cooperate for our planned outdoor ceremony she was right next to us helping us figure out what the best plan was. She helped us stay calm and to have an amazing wedding ceremony that was perfect for us.

Rev. Simone Shepard was simply amazing. My husband and I live in Chicago and had a destination wedding in Colorado. Rev. Shepard was willing to spend the time to get to know us as people and as a couple... and it showed in the beautiful and eloquent ceremony she created for us. We spoke on the phone, Skyped, and met twice before our big day. She allowed us to read over the ceremony and make changes until it felt perfect! How many officiants do that?
She has a beautiful, calming and pure sounding voice that made us both calm (even during the vows!) and feel as though we were talking to a friend. Her words on love, our marriage and the family we have now created are something we will always treasure whenever watching our wedding video.

We feel so fortunate to have met Simone and had her be part of our wedding. We requested pre-marital counseling and were so happy we did. Simone helped us strengthen our relationship and we discovered things about each other that we never knew. Simone was not only an integral part of the wedding, but we also made a lifelong friend. Simone is fantastic at what she does and a lovely person to boot. She worked with us to help us put together just the ceremony we wanted and was super flexible in contact, travel, and details. Day-of, she kept us standing, putting the right foot in front of the left foot, and got us through it in spite of ourselves. Recommend her without reservation.

There are so many wonderful things that I can say about Rev. Simone. I think most important is that she was willing to help us out with the wording, all the while letting us be ourselves and come up with fun and crazy things to incorporate into the ceremony. She was very laid back and easy to talk to. She is very down to earth and wanted to make our day special for us. Not once did I feel like I was being judged for some goofy idea I had that I wanted to incorporate into the ceremony. I feel like I have made a friend for life in Rev. Simone. She is so wonderful.

Flawless "I do's."

Simone's demeanor is warm, inviting and caring. She was very organized and listened to our wishes and delivered just that - a perfectly customized ceremony. Simone was a breeze to work with and her services are very reasonably priced. An example of how she went above and beyond, was during our rehearsal ceremony, I had expressed some concern that I was nervous that I'd forget everything we rehearsed for our wedding the next day. She reassured me then and there that she would lead me through a successful ceremony yet I even received an unexpected call from Simone the morning of our wedding just to check in and make sure my nerves weren't getting the best of me. Her calm voice and continuous support meant the world to me! I'm so happy to say that the ceremony was flawless! Thank you Simone for an unforgettable wedding day!

Rev Simone is absolutely wonderful. We feel blessed to have met her and have her preside over our wedding ceremony. I found Reverend Simone Shepard on Wedding Wire and it was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding. She truly did a wonderful job with our ceremony.

She was such a great find! Since my husband and I came from different religious background, it was important to me to find someone who could blend both into our wedding ceremony. I was raised as a Muslim and my husband was from a Christian background and Simone created a ceremony that incorporated both religions. The ceremony was truly magical and special to us. She was easily accessible and very responsive. Overall my husband and I loved everything she did and she is such a genuine one-of-a-kind person and officiant.

Simone was the perfect choice for our wedding officiant. Within minutes of meeting Simone, it was evident that she was going to be a wonderful officiant. She took the time to get to know my husband and me, our relationship, and our hopes for the future. At no point did she attempt to influence or change the type of ceremony we wanted, something that was very important to us. The address she wrote was very personal and meaningful to us. Our friends and family at the ceremony continue to comment on how beautiful it was. To say we loved working with Simone would be an understatement.

Simone is awesome. We found her here on wedding wire and loved her great reviews so we contacted her and when we met we knew she was going to be the person to marry us. We had no idea what we wanted to do but we knew we didn't want anything to fancy. She wrote wonderful words that described us just based on meeting us. We met with her as many times as we wanted to ensure that our wedding was exactly what we were looking for. She even sent us examples of wedding vows since we were having trouble writing out own. We had last minute changes to the wedding party and plans changed the day of our wedding and she was fiine with all the changes and rolled with them. Simone is fantastic we are so blessed to have met her and have her conduct our ceremony. We will be keeping in touch with her since she was that awesome. We have been recommending her to everyone that we know getting married in the area. She is the best!

Rev. Simone was truly a joy to work with as we planned our wedding! My husband and I struggled at the beginning of our engagement to design a wedding ceremony that would meet both of our spiritual beliefs. When we found Rev. Simone, we were so pleased with her! Rev. Simone was wonderful from start to finish, she provided an excellent experience for my husband and I. From the very first meeting she made us feel completley comfortable with the entire process, she listened to the ideas that we had and provided great suggestions as well. We reviewed many profiles of Officiants on the Wedding Wire site but there was something about Rev. Simone's profile that let us know she was the one to help make our day so incredibly special. Rev. Simone was a dream every step of the way - personable, genuine and professional.

We wanted a ceremony that was personal to us and Simone worked with us to craft our vision, going back and forth on the details and even the wording. We incorporated a wine box ceremony that we'd never seen done before - had only read about online. It came off beautifully. Her calm friendly energy guided us painlessly towards our perfect ceremony. Her delivery at the wedding was warm and comforting, radiating positive energy.

We feel very lucky to have found her! I cannot recommend her enough.

Rev Simone, made our day and the days leading up to it amazing! She took time out to get to know my husband and myself and to write a personalized ceremony for us on our day. Simone far exceed our expectations of a wedding officiant. She went above and beyond to get to know us well enough to write a custom and unique wedding ceremony that fit with our personalities and beliefs. She truly loves what she does and is so caring and eager to make the experience as wonderful as possible. I received so many complements from guests on how beautiful our ceremony was. Simone officiated a baby blessing and baptism for our daughter, Madilynn, who was 8 months old. Simone was instrumental in creating a perfect day for our family. She met with us beforehand on multiple occasions to help us plan and create a beautiful ceremony. She is so open, caring and loving and brought such a peaceful and warm spirit to Madi's very important day. I could not imagine having an occasion like this led by anyone else. We are so thankful!

Rev. Simone is an incredible person and did an outstanding job officiating our ceremony. She 100% put us at ease throughout the process and created a ceremony that was extremely unique and special to my husband and me. She truly has a very special gift and she is such a breath of fresh air. She is extremely responsive, professional, encouraging, inspirational, ALWAYS early, very helpful and just a wonderful person. Simone was our Officiate for our wedding on Feb. 26, 2011 and she truly was a blessing! She made us feel comfortable, relaxed and truly put her whole self into making our vows and wedding day special! We got to sit down and meet with her prior to hiring her and right away you could tell that she loves her job and you feel like she is part of your family. She is a beam of light and someone that I am very thankful was a part of our special day!

My (new) husband and I absolutely adore Rev. Simone and are eternally grateful for her patience, kindness, compassion and skill with people, words and love. Her touch made our wedding ceremony incredibly special, we wanted something non-traditional and all inclusive with our views on the world and feelings towards love...she made it happen. Our friends and family were impressed by her professionalism and touched by her grace. We recommend her to everyone for everything! Thanks for being so special!

At the last minute we needed a backup officiant for our wedding and I found Simone via weddingwire. I am so glad we went with her, she made our ceremony beautiful. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed both the day of and at our rehearsal. She helped make our ceremony perfect, and had just the right things to say during it. She even helped advised my groom on his suprise vows! She was exceptionally affordable and I would've paid more to have her in our wedding!

We had the best time and the easiest experience possible for a wedding! There was never any pressure and we were comfortable at every step. We were kept up to date with any changes and all the progress with the service and even had copies to read well in advanced. Any news or updates we needed included were done promptly and with the greatest respect. Our families thought we had the perfect Minister for our wedding and we feel Reverend Simone was a perfect compliment and made the day as perfect as possible. Lots of perfects!

Rev. Simone was so wonderful! She helped to make our day even more special than we could have imagined. We had several unique requests that she was more than happy to include into our ceremony. Our entire family became a part of the wedding, which made it so meaningful and joyous. She was great with all of the kids and very patient with the rest of us too!!!!

Simone is amazing. You could not ask for a more spiritually guided person to oversee your vows. With all of the varying beliefs of my family, Simone brought a peace and spirituality to my wedding that did not feel hokey or fake, and did not make any one of any particular faith or any one that didn't believe in God feel uncomfortable. The ceremony was truly lovely, and it fit us so perfectly. Many blessings in whoever you choose as your officiant and congratulations on your engagement. Simone gave us an experience of a life time! Her powerful ceremony had a special uniqueness that no one will for get. Her help was exceptional throughout the whole wedding from beginning to end. I could not have done this wedding with out her help because she took the time to help in anyway to make our day memorable. I think we are one of the luckiest couples to have been able to have this wonderful woman in our lives.

I have never seen nor heard such a unique and special service that was catered to what my husband and I wanted. She seemed to read our personalities and worked with us every step of the way. She is a wonderful woman with a special niche for wedding ceremonies. I would recommend her to anyone!
