We are so thankful that we had the privilege of having Kate as our wedding officiant! We loved the fact that she genuinely wanted to get to know us and cared about what we wanted in our wedding ceremony. We really appreciate that when designing the ceremony script, she gave us lots of material that we could pick from or use as a starting point to customize. I loved just how intentional she was with everything and created a ceremony that was so tailored to my husband and I. She did a wonderful job at helping us stay grounded and present in the moment and created an atmosphere that made it feel like it was just Kate, my husband, and I in that moment. Our experience with Kate was delightful from the get-go! As we were more-or-less going in blind with what we wanted for our ceremony, Kate had great resources and suggestions of things we could do to make the ceremony perfectly "us". She pieced all of our thoughts about each other together so beautifully and really made our ceremony special! I had many people after the ceremony tell me how well it represented my husband and I. Kate was also just lovely to be around in general. She had a warm energy and a smile on her face the whole time put so much care into making sure everything went the way that it was supposed to. Rev Kate officiated our wedding this past October and we couldn't say enough good things about her and the memories she helped create for us. From the first time we talked with her on the phone it was clear to us that her personality and style was exactly what we were looking for. She took time to get to know us and provided us with plenty of options for how we could structure our ceremony making it so anyone could create a ceremony that felt most authentic to them. For anyone who is not affiliated with any specific religion but still feels spiritual, she does a perfect job of conveying those beliefs and creating an environment that truly represents who you are and how you feel using language that resonates best with your beliefs. Of the weddings that I've been to I feel like the best parts are usually after the ceremony. I know that this was our wedding so we may be a bit biased, but the ceremony was easily the best and most memorable part of our wedding. It was incredibly emotional in the best way and made the moment feel truly special and once in a lifetime. We had several people come up to us afterwards and say that was the best ceremony they've ever been a part of and I know that wouldn't have been the case without Kate. We would give her 100 stars if we could and we can't thank her enough for officiating our ceremony and creating a lifelong memory. -

There aren't enough words for how great Kate is!
Rev Kate made our day so magical, personal, easy, sweet, and special. I could use every adjective known to man, and that wouldn't be enough. We only communicated through emails and the phone prior to the day of our mini wedding --- yet she gives off the vibe of a dear old friend and made the day personal to us.
The day of our wedding, it rained, which meant a last minute change of venue. There was no cell reception at the cabin, our families got lost, my brother-in-law forgot the camera, and my zipper broke. Yet, just with a smile and a few reassuring words, Kate took all the stress away.
Rev Kate was so peaceful and thoughtful and she was able to capture all the aspects of our love, faith, spirituality, and relationship. Kate has the most calming energy. She makes all the jitters and anxiety melt away, and you are able to just focus on the moment. We could have had 1,000 people or been alone, and I would still just see the love in my hubby's eyes and feel the peaceful joy from Kate's presence and words. She made our day so special.
You'd be bananas to choose anyone else. -

from start to finish this experience was STELLAR! From the 1st sit down to the ceremony we had no complaints! Rev Adamson gave the best ceremony our friends and family have ever witnessed. everything was just the way we wanted it to be, very detailed and thought out! Rev. A couple of weeks ago, Rev. Kate officiated my elopement ceremony and was absolutely fantastic! She did a wonderful job putting together a ceremony personalized towards us and our relationship. We had kept in touch with Kate via email and had a couple of phone meetings to ensure our ceremony incorporated everything we wanted. Kate provided us with examples of different ceremony outlines and even had my husband and I fill out a questionnaire to get a better understanding of our relationship. The ceremony was perfect and we couldn't recommend Kate enough!

From the first time we chatted on the phone we both felt in an instant connection and knew that she was going to make the process of planning our ceremony be an enjoyable one. Our situation was a bit different as we were getting re-married after being divorced. Reverend Kate spent time getting to know us despite being 1,000 miles away. Her questionnaire was thoughtful and she communicated with us over video chat to get to know us better. It was an easy and casual conversation which was great, but the best part was that she was absolutely listening. She was able to incorporate that causal conversation into the perfect sentiments for our situation! We were working with our prior officiant for several months, when there was a COVID situation 48-hours before our wedding. We had a truly wonderful experience in planning a very customized ceremony with our prior officiant, but made the tough call to partner with her recommended colleague, Reverend Kate, last minute due to health concerns.
We were blown away by Kate's generosity, warm spirit, and professionalism. We are so grateful she joined us the next day for our rehearsal, and made accommodations to officiate our early afternoon ceremony with just 24-hours notice (while she already had another wedding later in the day). She was prepared, organized, and made the entire experience completely seamless. Kate made a significant effort to get to know us and our families in the short time frame, and made us feel so calm. Rev Kate is wonderful! My husband and I were looking for a nondenominational service for our small outdoor wedding. We contacted Rev Kate fairly close to our wedding date upon the highly praised referral from another officiant who was unavailable for our date, and she did not disappoint. Despite the fact that we did not have a lot of time to spend with Rev Kate prior to our ceremony, she was still able to perform a lovely service. She has a wonderful presentation and delivery. I had no idea what to request or suggest regarding the itinerary for the service, but Rev Kate had many sample templates to choose from and walked us through it making it feel like a breeze. I would highly recommend Rev Kate as an officiant! -

Kate was organized, punctual, and caring in all of our interactions. Excellent communication. From the first phone call we felt like we had known her for years. The questionnaires and paperwork she uses to outline your ceremony are well worth the effort. She used the information and created a beautiful ceremony for us filled with love, laughter, and even a little Harry Potter reference. By the end of this experience we felt like she was part of the family. Kate was also adaptable to our crazy weather situation. Tropical Storm Ophelia visited our wedding day, and Kate greeted us with a big warm smile and a hug.

Kate was absolutely incredible as Celebrant for our tiny but magical mountain-top ceremony! Not only did she agree to hike to the top of a Stoney Man in Shenandoah National Park at dawn with us, but she smiled the whole way through the surprise snow. We felt like we had known Kate for years as we walked up the mountain together. She made us very comfortable throughout and joked around with us as we shivered through the cold. The BEST choice for our wedding!
Kate was the absolute best choice we could have made for a wedding officiant! We were traveling in from out of town, and Kate was happy to get to know the two of us over the phone beforehand. She got to know our story, sent us adorable questionnaires to fill out about each other, and helped us to curate readings to make our ceremony perfect for us. We didn’t get to meet her in person until the day of the wedding, and even then she felt like an old friend! Plus, Kate was willing to hike a mountain with us to perform our ceremony! Her words to us and our families were so clearly filled with love, passion, and experience. Everything she said was thoughtful… we were crying by the first couple lines! She clearly listened to our vows as we said them too because she was able to incorporate pieces of them into her closing remarks, which felt so personal and special. After the ceremony, Kate was quick to send in our marriage license, as well as an informative email to let us know what the next steps would be. Overall, Kate is an amazing person who loves her work, which makes her the perfect choice for anyone considering her services! -

Kate is as good as it gets! My wife and I got married in a non-traditional ceremony with a small group of our family. The first time we contacted Kate, we made an immediate connection with her over the phone. We then set up an in-person meeting to discuss the ceremony with her. When we met Kate in person we both felt like we'd known her for years. She is so easy to talk to and accommodating. She had great suggestions for our ceremony and can handle any sort of scenario you can imagine with ease. Our level of comfort with her was off the charts! The morning of our ceremony (we got married at 8am), Kate was there early to go over everything with us. When the time came to do it for real, it could not have gone more perfectly! On a personal note, Kate is an amazing human being. She absolutely radiates positive energy, kindness and love. My wife and I both now consider her a close, personal friend and hope to continue our relationship with her for many years to come! When I started looking for an officiant for our wedding, the first think I noticed on Rev. Kate's photos is the SMILES. I knew right away, that's the ceremony I wanted and exactly what we got.
Rev. Kate really put effort into getting to know us as a couple. We had a phone conversation, met in person, and loved filling out a questionaire. She really challenged us to express our deep thougths and feelings for another. All this made our ceremony really personal to us. Our wedding was a bit untraditional (25 guests, shipping container bar at a brewery). Kate was openmided and helped come up with unique ideas.
Fast forward to our wedding, Kate showed up early to talk us through the ceremony. Our vows incoporated our family, guests, and even my dog. And as I wanted it, it was full of big smiles and laughs.

I’ve worked with Rev. Kate as a wedding coordinator quite a few times so it was a no brainer that she officiate my own wedding. The fact she was able to share our special day with us was more than memorable and I’m so glad to say that I’ll be able to hold onto that blessing forever. Rev. Kate makes planning your vows a breeze with her detailed questionnaire and customization. We were even able to include a sand pouring with our children as well to unite us as one family.

Rev. Kate was truly the perfect person to do our wedding ceremony. We really could not have asked for a better experience. We came in having very little idea of what we wanted for our ceremony, but Rev. Kate was able to help us put something together that was beautiful and personal. She was very communicative and organized and we really felt like we were in great hands through the whole process. She really took the time to get to know us both as a couple and as individuals and that care really shone through in the words she chose for the ceremony. Rev. Kate took the time to make sure we felt comfortable and that our vision for the ceremony came through. We were both very nervous when standing on the stage for the big day, but Kate was able to keep us both present and grounded with her calming and supportive presence. Could not recommend Rev. Rev. Kate is an amazing, warm, and kind person. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! We planned our wedding from afar and were not able to meet Kate in person until our rehearsal. Despite this, Rev. Kate took the time to get to know us before our big day with questionnaires and video calls. She was receptive to our ceremony ideas and had suggestions which we felt made our wedding day more special and personal. When our big day came, we felt like Rev. Kate knew us both well and she planned and executed a beautiful ceremony, taking into consideration all our preferences. Multiple people made comments that the ceremony was the best they had been to! After the ceremony, Kate joined our reception and we felt like she was a part of our family. You Will Not Regret Hiring Rev Kate
Our experience with Reverend Kate Adamson was nothing short of incredible. I knew from our first conversation that she was the officiant for us. Because we were eloping, we wanted to add an element of surprise to the ceremony. I told Kate that we wanted her words for us to be a surprise. My friends warned me against doing this, but I knew that Kate was a perfect person for this. She knew about our life struggles throughout our relationship and her words resonated with what we've been through (as if she's known us for years). You will NOT regret using her as your officiant. She even added a traditional Persian custom (I'm Iranian) which was a surprise to us. I couldn't recommend her enough, honestly! Thank you Rev Kate! -

Rev. Kate was absolutely spectacular. My husband was raised Jewish and I was raised Christian. We did not maintain regular religion practice into adulthood. We were searching for an officiant who would maintain the spirituality of a wedding ceremony without incorporating religion. Rev. Kate was recommended to us by our wedding planner as someone who would fit that criteria. We were so lucky that she was all that and more. Rev. Kate took time to meet with us in person prior to our wedding and get to know us as a couple, our values, what we hope for out of marriage, and how we wanted our wedding ceremony to be. I was incredibly nervous and overwhelmed about the idea of getting up in front of a large group of folks. She came up with innovative ideas to make us as comfortable as possible while maintaining a beautiful, personal ceremony. She allowed us to customize our ceremony down to the smallest detail which included us writing our own shared vows (which she provided great input to make them roll of the tongue easier), a wine combining as our unity ceremony, and she incorporated our grandparents who could not be with us at our wedding into the ceremony, and much more. Her Minister's Address was so personal and such a joyful gift. She really understood our love and was able to convey that to our guests. She was so informative about after-wedding logistics to retrieve our marriage certificate and was sent in the signed marriage license promptly.
It's important to note that that I was a ball of nerves on my wedding day and just before the ceremony I was feeling really anxious. Rev. Kate led a tranquil deep breathing exercise with my bridesmaids and I. She was 1000% the energy I needed before walking down the aisle. The wedding ceremony was hands down the best part of our wedding day. Any member of our family or friends who made mention of the ceremony could not stop gushing about how wonderful Rev. Kate was. The ceremony was easily the element of our wedding that received the most positive comments. She created a truly remarkable ceremony, loved by all (our Jewish and Christian guests) and cherished by my husband and I. We are forever grateful that Rev. Kate was a part of our wedding day and was the one to pronounce us husband and wife and would recommend her to anyone. You will look back and be so glad you chose Rev. Kate. -

Rev Kate is a rarity. We met initially for lunch in Virginia, which turned into over two hours of great conversation and connection. It felt as though we were visiting with an old friend. We decided to elope in Shenandoah National Park. Kate was extremely flexible with our ceremony location choice, and was *literally* willing to climb mountains to marry us atop Black Rock Summit in the park. When we first spoke to Reverend Kate on the phone, we were immediately drawn to her warmth and kindness. We described that we wanted to have a very intimate, personal ceremony, and she understood right away what we were looking for.
She shared with us a few surveys to fill out about our relationship, what we each love about the other person, what we were most excited for in our marriage, etc. We also had an in person meeting a few months before our wedding, where we had the opportunity to get to know each other better and feel even more comfortable with her.

A dream and a miracle
Rev. Kate was absolutely amazing. We did our correspondence via email and over the phone and the end result was nothing less than outstanding. She was calm and open to any and all ideas. SHE STOOD IN THE RAIN! Seriously, she stood in the rain and though we had to cut some things short performed a ceremony we were proud of. She then went above and beyond to perform the parts of the ceremony, handfasting and tree planting, under the tent since we could not in the rain. -
