After some research we decided to reach out to Reverend Julienne as our wedding officiant for our Maui elopement. We reached out about two months ahead and had little flexibility with our date due to arrival and departure time for our trip. She responded to our inquiry the same day and was able to accommodate us during Easter week! The communication was quick and her website was easy to navigate and provided all the details we needed to elope in Maui (applying for marriage license, scheduling agent appointment, etc.). She is sweet and caring and made our day memorable. I was expecting and once she found out she got very creative and used rocks to cut one of the leis for us since an open lei is traditionally given to pregnant women. Her ceremony was simple and sweet and perfect for us! If we return to Maui for a vow renewal, we will definitely reach out to her! -

My wife and I celebrated 25 yrs. with a vow renewal on Maui. Julienne was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the first phone call to the warm hugs after the renewal she made our experience feel personal, she made us feel like it was as important to her as it was to us. She lovingly wrote a portion of the vows specifically for us including our amazing sons and the life and love we have built together. Upon meeting her at the beach she immediately gave big warm hugs and made us feel very at ease. The ceremony was filled with the "Aloha" spirit and the deep meanings of Hawaiian traditions. There was laughter, smiles and of course tears and each moment felt special. We would highly recommend Julienne for any kind of coupling ceremony, from renewals to marriage vows. We are so thankful for the wonderful experience she facilitated for us. Would give her 10+ stars if we could.Deepest Mahalos to her.

Vow Renewal Ceremony
My husband and I recently renewed our vows in Maui, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to lead our ceremony than Reverend Jules! From the moment we first connected with her, she was warm, kind, professional, and thoughtful!
I was super nervous leading up to the ceremony, but her calm and grounding presence immediately put me at ease. One of the most special/memorable moments was at the beginning of the ceremony, where she invited us to close our eyes and reflect on some of our most meaningful memories—like the first time we met, our first date, and the journey we’ve been on together. It was such a beautiful way to start, and it helped me feel centered and truly present.
Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly responsive and attentive. She offered excellent recommendations—including where to get our leis. She also shared some lovely insights about Hawaiian culture and tradition, which brought even more meaning to the day.
We’re so grateful to Reverend Jules for making our vow renewal truly unforgettable. If you’re planning any kind of ceremony in Maui, we absolutely recommend her! -

We could not be happier to have gone with Julienne as our wedding officiant for our Maui elopement! We decided very last minute to get married on our originally planned babymoon and are so thankful to have gotten a recommendation to work with Julienne. She is exactly the type of person you want to wed you -she is the epitome of a warm hug and it felt like we had known her for so long even though we had just met. She made everything so easy and was wonderful to work with. The ceremony itself was beautiful. She has a couple of different options for vows depending on what your preferences are as a couple. For us it was perfect because while we aren't very religious we still wanted something meaningful and poignant and to have a Hawaiian blessing was so special and something we'll always cherish. Cannot recommend Jules enough! She made every step of the wedding planning process smooth and easy. Her experience with the island of Lana'i and the Lana'i Cat Sanctuary, as well as our mutual love of cats made her the perfect person to officiate our special day! Communication was prompt (even with our 5-hour time zone difference) and thorough, and she has an extraordinary ability to connect with everyone she interacts with (speaking from a very introverted person!) Our ceremony was short and sweet, and it was everything we could have hoped it would be--she even incorporated our three cats into the ceremony. To top it all off, she surprised us with Krispy Kreme donuts after the ceremony! Some day we will make our way back to Hawai'i and will definitely be asking Jules to officiate our vow renewal ceremony! -

When we were looking for an officiant for our Maui elopement we had a few people we reached out to. After a FaceTime with Julienne we had no question that she was the one that would marry us. In the months leading up to the wedding she was available to answer questions, make vendor recommendations (all amazing) and guide us on our journey. For the wedding itself she was so calm and brought a very aloha spirit to the ceremony. We had a simple sunrise beach wedding and it was perfect. She incorporated some traditional Hawaiian verses which we loved. She is perfect for this role and I am so happy she was there on our most special day. -

Julienne married us on April 24, 2024 at Palauea Beach in Maui! We knew from the first moment we met her on zoom that she would be our officiant. She made the whole process seamless, which not going to lie we were worried about planning a wedding with a 6 hour time difference. She sent us a sample ceremony and helped us make decisions along the way (adding lei ceremony, whether or not to do personal vows), we felt so at ease with the entire process. On our wedding day, Julienne made sure that we were comfortable and took the time to chat with us before we started the ceremony. She made the entire ceremony feel so special for us, we couldn't of pictured anyone else officianting our big day! Thank you Julienne for being a part of our dream wedding day -

Reverend Julienne is incredible. She married my husband and I on a Catamaran in Maui in front of friends and family, flawlessly. Beforehand, she took the time to video chat and get to know us, and in addition, she supplemented us with a great survey in which pinpointed exactly how we would like the ceremony conducted. What I really loved was how the survey allowed us to choose what kind of environment we were searching for, whether that be traditional or modern, playful or formal, and spiritual, religious, or earthy (etc.). She sent us a written format of what she would say, allowing us to review or make changes. (We made no changes). I was impressed and grateful for her care. She also helped us with where and how to get our license and even sent me to a helpful page in which would make it easy for me to get all of my documents changed to my new last name. I will always call Reverend Julienne a caring friend. I hope to see her again one day! Mahalo, Jules. -

We hired Julienne for our elopement in Maui and she went above and beyond our expectations! The ceremony was personalized to us and she incorporated some Hawaiian ceremony traditions. Julienne is the best. We couldn’t imagine better person to marry us. We saw her profile and immediately felt that good energy and we were interested to meet her. We had a zoom meeting and she was so kind and supportive, she helped us a lot with all her suggestions, from finding perfect location, photographer and all other details.
She is so accommodating, understanding and supportive! She is so great in connecting with people, that is such a wonderful and special characteristic to have. We planned our wedding on the beach in Maui for just the two of us and we were so unbelievably lucky to have Julienne Givot as our officiant! She flawlessly executed a perfect Hawaiian ceremony complete with a lei exchange, unity sand ceremony, a blessing of the rings with ocean water, and a surprise blow of a conch shell to seal the deal! She walked us through everything that needed to be done and was genuinely so excited for us. Her words were carefully chosen and individualized; it made it seem like she had known us for years. Julienne touched our hearts and brought us both to tears in the ceremony and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to officiate our wedding! FLEXIBILITY - We had a couple changes of heart to how we wanted the ceremony, and Rev Julienne incorporated each one gracefully and timely.
TIMELINESS - Rev Julienne confirmed our meeting location the day before and even showed up early! Truly appreciate not needing to stress over this!
PREPARATION - Above and beyond expectations. She came with the needed document in the outfit we requested, and even brought a little bluetooth speaker / our chosen first dance song to make our moment even more special.
She truly made us feel like a family and we wouldn't have wanted to get married any other way! -

I wish I could give 10 stars (especially in flexibility)! My husband and I had never been to Maui before, and we decided to elope only about two months before the actual date. Julienne wrote the most BEAUTIFUL ceremony for us and walked us through everything to make the day stress-free. She even contacted our photographer on our behalf to work out details because we were clueless about location, time, or pretty much ANY details. The day of the ceremony, my husband forgot a crucial part of his outfit, so we had to turn around. She was so patient with us even though we were running late. I could not have been happier with the services Julienne provided! -

perfect match!
When looking for someone to perform our ceremony, we had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted. We wanted someone who would put us at ease, and also encourage us to try different ideas to customize our ceremony to suit our family. Julienne was cheerful, inclusive, patient and so darn cool. My wife and I had a wonderful wedding ceremony free of any pre wedding worries.
Rev Julienne's friendly, responsive, attentive nature was the first thing that came through in our email correspondence. I knew, right away, we'd found the right Wedding Officiant which was really what we needed. Living 7,500miles away, I wanted to know my Officiant was going to be my 'right hand' in Maui - and i was right.
Rev Julienne met us at a coffee shop and we talked a very long time about our ceremony in detail but also talked about local issues, passtimes and differences between our cultures. A very intelligent and passionate woman. Jules, as we know her now, is more than just an service provider, she is now our friend and we will definitely be meeting again in the future.

The PERFECT Maui Officiant 😎
I live here on Maui, and started my search for an officiant with a google of “Maui wedding officiant” and found a page with a list of profiles, and the first one that made me smile and giggle was Juliennes! When we met I knew it was a match. She is fun, FUNNY, professional, flexible, and the best part- was that even my first reading of the ceremony email made me cry. She also THANK GOODNESS reminded me about bringing the marriage license to the ceremony about 3 weeks prior, which I had completely forgotten (due to a family emergency) was my responsibility to procure. She perfectly captured what we wanted for our marriage, and then made some minor adjustments to accommodate little requests we had. Would HIGHLY recommend for any bride, but especially any brides like me, laid back and just wanting a very heartfelt union with their best friend 🤙!!! -

My husband and I were married by Rev Julienne two days ago and couldn’t be more impressed! SHE WAS AMAZING! She was fun, professional and very accommodating. She took the time to get to know us and gave us the option to choose the style of ceremony we wanted to make it truly ours. We really felt that she cared about making our day special. She was so sweet and upon meeting her for the first time, felt like family. I don’t expect her prices to stay at the amazing rate they are for too long, so book her while you can!! Ellsworth wedding
Rev Julienne was so helpful to me planning a wedding in Maui from the mainland! Having not been in Maui for 30 years I had a vague memory of places to go but also not familiar with local contacts for marriage license etc. She also wrote some lovely vows using a mix of Christian and Hawaiian traditions and suggested additional Hawaiian customs we might like. Very personable, quick to respond to requests and questions. We highly recommend Rev Julienne! -

We wanted a simple but meaningful ceremony and she tailored it to us. She was also able to accommodate us with short notice and helped us pick a beautiful spot with a beautiful view.
