Rev. Jim was a breeze to work with, he's a gem
So glad we booked Rev. Jim for our Elopement Adventure. He was pleasant to work with and he made sure everything was explained thoroughly to us, from the beginning til the end. We had no doubts that getting him as our Officiant would make our day extra special, and he definitely delivered. He arrived at the venue early, and performed the ceremony with such grace. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an Officiant in the PNW area. -

Respectable Reverend
Jim helped us hold a wedding with a preparation period of shorter than one month. His professionalism convinced me that I am safeguarded for things that are not explicitly mentioned in the contract and it proved to be worth more than the price -

Reverend Jim is a thoughtful and master communicator. His attention to detail makes all the difference in a successful event. Beyond an event, his personality is such that you know how much he truly cares about each couple. Each instance of anxiety or any question was answered promptly on the phone and in e-mail. The event day, he was right where he said he would be with a smile. Because we were allowed to be engaged in the process, making choices in the readings and passages, it made it so personal for us. Everyone at our micro-wedding loved him so much. He is a treasure and we will forever be blessed knowing this kind man. -

Awesome Officiant!
We highly recommend Rev Jim to other couples looking to book. He is very flexible, helpful in planning, and funny too. We dealt with multuple date and venue changes due to covid, and even last minute changes with the rehearsal. Jim was available and helpful through it all. He has resources for vow writing if you like and leaves a lot of the ceremony design input to the couple but offers help wherever needed. -

Beautiful Ceremony
Reverend Jim Beidle did an exceptional job for our elopement! He was very easy flexible, attentive and easy to work with. A few weeks before the wedding he provided us with a rough outline of what would be said during the ceremony and it brought me to tears because I felt that it was so beautiful and well written. He provided us with the perfect ceremony and we worked with him to add some personalized touches. Photography was really important to us for the ceremony and Jim went out of his way to look up what time of day would provide the best lighting and offered to have the ceremony at the golden hour. Everything about this day was so amazing and Jim was a huge contributing factor to that. I would highly recommend him. -

When we first met Jim we instantly knew there was something very special, loving and trusting about him. As we got to know him we found those initial feelings were true. He walked us through the nerves, the unknown and the BIG DAY. When we were at the alter I wasn’t nervous or anxious... I was 100% excited! Because Jim made us both feel so comfortable and like family. I feel like I’ve known him my whole life. I am very thankful I came across of Rev. Jim’s name. I had a hard time looking for an officiant thru the lists that the county gave us. Those are not updated. Rev. Jim answered his phone right away and entertained my queries professionally and scheduled me to my date requested. He is very flexible, he could go to wherever location you wish to do your special day, for us, he came to our home all the way from his home to Mount Vernon. He even gave me suggested theme and places for our special day. He has packages of his services and what I love is transactions was all set online. Very trustworthy! It was perfect! -

Santa Jim-- amazing!
Santa Jim was incredibly professional the entire time working with him. My mother in law was skeptical about being married by Santa (she's very religious ans traditional), but she absolutely loved him! Our guests were delighted to have Santa perform our ceremony and even more excited to take photos with him during cocktail hour! -

Wonderful Wedding Officiant!
I couldn't recommend planning your big day with Rev. Jim Beidle enough! We met with Jim on two separate occasions to discuss the ceremony. He took the time and care to make sure it was personal and memorable. We ended up with a non-religious ceremony, and a perfect mix of sweet and funny (just what we wanted) but if a religious or tear-jerking ceremony is what you are going for, he can do that, too. He showed up early to set the stage and meet the DJ to make sure everything went smoothly. Our wedding was full of changes and surprises, and Jim rolled with all of it with professionalism and good humor. Afterwords, we received several compliments from our guests about how fitting he was for our mountain-set wedding. Thank you, Jim Beidle!! -

Mary Sent on 08/15/2018I hired rev. Jim back in January. Upon booking, we specifically requested he be at the rehearsal dinner. This was put into writing in our contract that he would be there. He then told us he would be unable to attend the rehearsal because he booked another wedding for that day (during the rehearsal). He did offer alternatives to a rehearsal (extra meetings), but it wouldn’t work out for me because most of my wedding party wouldn’t be there at these ‘meetings’ (all my guests are from out of state). I did not understand the purpose of having extra meetings if it didn’t actually contribute to the rehearsal. I did not receive my deposit back despite the fact that he was the one who broke the contract (couldn’t attend rehearsal). His response was very curt and felt petty when he tried to explain to me. I was very upset but oh well, as he told me ‘this is a standard industry practice’, so I suppose I should get used to being ripped off.
