Jewel was our rock through the entire planning, practice and day of ceremony. She was so incredibly kind and funny and helped us plan the perfect day.
Jewel lives up to her name, because she is quite literally a jewel amongst officiants!!! Out of everything about our day, Jewel made our day unique and special, tailoring her style to our personality as a couple. The number one comment I got during the reception was "Where did you find her- she's amazing!" I couldn't agree more. I will recommend Jewel till I am blue in the face. She is a guarantee to have a flawless, meaningful and absolutely perfect ceremony. She used her own personal time to talk with us day of and provide comfort and support and socialize with our families.

Jewel was a big part of our day and she made everything so stress-free and seamless. She was the officiant for my mother in laws wedding as well as my husband's best friends wedding, and we know now exactly why they chose her. She caters to everyone's individual needs and really takes time to get to know you as a couple and what you are looking for. Cherry on top was her cute sunflower dress to match our esthetic! 100% recommend!

From the start, Jewel was very enthusiastic, realistic, and supportive for a couple who wanted just a chill, quick ceremony with our fur babies incorporated. She was timely and flexible with all scheduling and truly ensured everything was what THE COUPLE (and no one else) wanted! Jewel even got to our wedding early enough to walk around and take pictures of the decor/setup which was a nice bonus to look at the following day! We could not recommend her more, we are so grateful to have found Jewel!

I’ve known Rev. Jewel Olson for many years, so when my daughter became engaged, I immediately recommended Jewel to officiate the ceremony. After changing the date a few times to accommodate Jewel’s schedule, the final date was selected… June 6, 2024. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the planning stages with my daughter and her fiancé, to the rehearsal, and the wedding ceremony itself, Jewel was amazing! She’s professional and charming, and makes you feel at ease with her warm personality mixed with a bit of humor. The ceremony was beautiful and afterward everyone raved about Jewel. Amazing wedding
Jewel did an amazing job personalizing our ceremony as well as advocating for me when I was getting overwhelmed by everyone talking. She has great organization and communication and easily kept up with me when I decided to change a couple things during the rehearsal. I can not count the number of people that came up to me during cocktail hour and the reception just RAVING over how good Jewel was and asking me where I found her!! Jewel made our wedding perfect. Not to mention seeing all the photos she took and posted after?!?! She went above and beyond in every way.

She's a great officiant!
My venue recommended Jewel and I am so glad they did! She is personable, easy to work with, and helpful. She gave us all the information we needed to make the process of getting married easier. She listened to our ideas and helped make the ceremony uniquely ours. She even took lots of photos of our wedding decorations which was a nice surprise to be able to have those to view while waiting for our photographers pictures.

I couldn’t have asked for a better officiant to make our ceremony perfect. There was just the right mix of personalization, emotion, and humor. The perfect officiant
Jewel was the perfect officiant. Her communication was great and she really values getting to know her couples before the ceremony. We met up with her to talk about our envision for the wedding and she helped walked us through how the ceremony will go. Any questions or concerns we had she was able to answer quickly and efficiently. My husband was so nervous during the ceremony and she helped keep him calm and relaxed. We had so many people come up to us after the ceremony telling house how wonderful jewel was. We’d definitely recommend her to anyone who needs an officiant!! So glad we went with her. 😀

Neither of us knew any officiant, let alone one to perform a ceremony for a same sex couple. Jewel made us feel as though she had known us for a long time. She understood us so well in just a few short minutes and captured our desires for the ceremony. Guests from out of State and out of town all said how they really enjoyed the ceremony and how much they felt Jewel understood and knew us. We started with invitations saying "Let us be one" and Jewel eloquently tied it into the end of the ceremony by closing the blessing with it. Truly magical. We even had to do remote for some quests not able to make it and they expressed their love of the ceremony.

My husband and I were married by Jewel in January 2022. Due to Covid, we had only met via zoom meetings to plan for our wedding day. Even though we hadn’t met in person prior to our rehearsal, Jewel made us feel as if she had known us for years! Our rehearsal and ceremony went absolutely flawless thanks to Jewel’s direction. Best wedding ceremony ever!
As mother of the bride, I would totally recommend Jewel Because my daughter and her husband had 2 ceremonies because of covid I could not have been happier. She was so warm and friendly, but also very professional. Each ceremony was unique.
Several guests commented it was the best wedding ceremony ever. Her 2 ideas for the unity part were perfect. Kudos to you Jewel!

We cannot say enough good things about Jewel! She was amazing and made our wedding day extra special. She gave us tons of helpful how tos leading up to our day and even here after when it came to getting out marriage certicate and filing it for us. One thing most appreciated was that she kept us the main focus and helped keep our family and wedding party on track during our rehersal. I kept saying she is a no nonsense lady and when there is a time crunch it's exactly what's needed. She customized our ceremony to fit us and our personalities and brought some humor to things which is a staple in our relationship, we constantly are laughing! Jewel was always prompt in her responses and so kind and helpful! 10 out 10 would refer her to anyone!

Personable, funny, emotional, she does it all!
Jewel was very personable. So many of our guests came to me after saying how great she did. It was a mix of emotions in the best way from laughing to crying and back to laughing. She picked up on the little quirks of our relationship and sounded like she's known us for years when she did our wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married!

From the start of our wedding planning process, Jewel was amazing! She made things easy and clear on what needed to be done on our part as well as hers. Having a video chat with her made things even better and felt very personal. She made herself available via text, call, email and so on. Finally getting to meet her in person at our rehearsal ensured us we made a great choice with choosing her to officiate our wedding. All of our guests said she did an amazing job and kept it short and to the point with some funny points to keep the audience engaged. Jewel was amazing. She was professional and prepared and gave us just the kind of informal ceremony that we requested. It was a small wedding, and Jewel understood our situation and made it easier to plan for our ceremony. She was on time(arrived 40 minutes early from the ceremony) and very warm and charming. She also had a good sense of humor. Every guest from our wedding liked her. She had a wonderful personality. I will recommend her for an officiant if any of my friends will get married. I’ve been to weddings where the officiant is awkward and not very personable. Jewel was a breath of fresh air. Jewel was super responsive and flexible leading up to our wedding day, and provided us with guidance and reminders along the way. Our ceremony was beautiful and it was my favorite part of our day! We got SO many compliments from our guests how awesome our officiant was! Fun personality and very personable. We can’t say enough about Jewel! Our wedding was one impacted by Covid so we weren’t actually able to meet Jewel in person until our rehearsal. But all it took was one phone call early on for us to know that she was the one we wanted to officiate our special day. Jewel was so helpful and provided so much guidance and suggestions, right up to the moment we walked down the aisle. Her words were beautiful and she even incorporated tennis into our ceremony, as we are both tennis fanatics and got married on the court. She also took the time to snap a bunch of great pictures, which was a complete surprise. And, she decorated her husband’s tennis racquet to surprise us with. 😊
We can’t wait to celebrate with Jewel again next year, at our big wedding!

Jewel officiated our small, intimate plan B wedding in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic and was absolutely a dream to work with. When we first met Jewel we knew there could not be someone better than her to officiate our wedding. She was so detail oriented and professional but also super down to earth. Then the pandemic hit and all of our plans changed. Jewel was amazing with all of the changes we made and very reassuring that our day would be just as amazing as we had planned. She was right! Our ceremony was perfect and both our parents and guests agreed that Jewel was phenomenal! The best part is that we get to have her officiate our second “ceremony” next year with all of our friends and family present!

Wedding Day Officiant
A few weeks before our wedding we had to change our plans and go with plan B for due to the coronavirus. We ended up even switching our date to do a backyard intimate wedding and Jewel was so accommodating was more than willing to help us with our last minute plans! Helped us create a fun and memorable ceremony
The officiant was one of the last things we needed to check off our wedding to-do list. My husband reached out to Jewel a few months prior to our wedding day and booked her services right away. Jewel reached out to both my husband and I right away via email with all the pertinent information we needed at that point. Since I was not part of the initial phone call between my husband and Jewel, Jewel also requested her and I speak on the phone or meet in person. I do not have the easiest schedule to work around and Jewel was very accommodating with me and even sent me gentle reminders that she wanted me to call her. I reached out to Jewel with a phone call and the conversation we had was light, fun and reassuring. She asked basic questions to get an idea of my expectations and concerns. Jewel did a great job following up with us via email at certain "checkpoints" along the way, giving us details about the marriage license, the ceremony details for our wedding programs and different suggestions and ideas for things to say and the unity ceremony. We decided to come up with our own unique idea for a unity ceremony and Jewel was so open to the idea and very willing to make it apart of our ceremony. We did not meet Jewel until the day of the wedding because of our schedules being so hectic. On our wedding day, Jewel had arrived at the venue before I did (I arrived 2 hours prior to the ceremony) and greeted me before I even walked in the door. Jewel was very professional and timely. She helped get bridesmaids/groomsmen, flower girls and the ring bearer in the correct order and knew exactly what to say to help me keep myself together and not cry my eyes out during the entire ceremony. No matter what type of ceremony you are looking to have, Jewel will definitely help you achieve it!

Jewel was perfect for our ceremony! We fell in love with her when we first met her and knew she would be great for our personalities. She exceeded our expectations! The day of, she was early and supportive, even though I was freaking out with the impending weather. She calmed me down and was very grounding. We were tentative as my now husband's parents are both from traditional religious backgrounds and we were unsure how they were going to feel about a woman officiant, but after them meeting and conversing with Jewel before the ceremony, they had nothing but amazing things to say about her. She was flexible, as we all had to be about whether the ceremony would be inside or outside, and rolled with the literally last 5 minute decision to change it back to outside. She incorporated so much of both of us into the ceremony from just our short meeting once before and even went along with a joke that my father-in-law attempted to whisper during the ceremony. Cannot say enough good things about her! Her personality, professionalism were both top notch! Extremely reasonably priced as an added bonus!

Jewel is amazing!
My husband and I got married in July 2018. Jewel was above and beyond what we could have ever imagined!! She was so organized, thoughtful, kind, and hilarious!! I truly enjoyed working with her, and was so grateful for how helpful she was, and always reminded me when it was time to get something done! She’s the best!!!

Warm and Welcoming
We had such a wonderful experience having her as our officiant. We were glad we chose her. Very proffesional and fun to work with, our ceremony was perfect, nothing boring at all. All of our guests loved her as well. We were pleased to have her.

Beyond Amazing
Jewel did an awesome job as our officiant. She was so easy to work with, and really did produce a perfect ceremony for my husband and I. Jewel not only tied our theme, but she brought in just the right amount of laughter and seriousness, and it was such a personal ceremony. Jewel even threw in our wedding hashtag, and I don’t know if we told her it or not! Our guests raved about our ceremony and how personal it was. Many people even though she was a family friend! Jewel is just an amazing lady. She is so sweet and having her part of your day makes you feel forever connected to her! I’m not a huge hugger, and I swear, I just want to squeeze her again, and shed some happy tears while I tell her how much I loved everything about our day.

We love Jewel!
Jewel was a true delight to work with throughout our wedding planning process. I could not be happier with the service she provided us from start to finish. My best memory of Jewel was on our wedding day; she was so calm and collected, which really helped ease my emotions that day. Our ceremony was much more than I ever expected, her words were perfect and something I will always remember. I received nothing but positive comments from family and friends who attended our ceremony. I wish I could repeat everything all over again! Thank you Jewel, for making our marriage ceremony truly wonderful!

Rev Jewel Olson was absolutely THE BEST! From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable and at ease - she was organized, insightful, and helped us create a ceremony that was perfectly tailored to us. The ceremony itself was perfect thanks to Jewel. She brought the perfect mix of love, laughter, and reflection to our ceremony. She rolled with all the quirky moments that came up, and kept the entire ceremony entertaining for our guests. We received so many compliments on our officiant choice, and we would recommend Rev Jewel to anyone!

Jewel is amazing! She made our day come together perfectly! She was very open to how we envisioned our ceremony. But she added her personal touches as well. We have had endless compliments about our ceremony! It was beautiful and of course a day I will never forget!
