Wedding Ceromony

It was a pleasure working with Jeannie, before the ceremony I was nervous! she mad sure I was comfortable during the process. My husband and I are extremely grateful for Jeannie. she's funny and made us both feel at ease and comfortable, she even stayed a little bit with us after the ceremony to make sure everything was okay. Jeannie made us feel right at home working with her, she was flexible and very understanding with time management. Jeannie and her assistant were very commuincative and kind.

Wedding officiant

Jeannie was so helpful from the get go, she gave insite and helped us prepare going into our big day. Everyone who attended our wedding stated it was the most unique wedding they have ever been to with how it was ran and I give all the thanks to Jeannie. She gave us everything we wanted and advocated for us on our needs. We are so thankful for finding Jeannie!

She is so sweet!

Jeannie is amazing! She was super sweet and detailed about how the ceremony would work. She constantly checked in to see how we were feeling and what we needed to make everything go exactly as we wanted. She even helped calm my nerves with words of wisdom. She is truly incredible.

We loved her

I had NO clue how to hire an officiant but I had 2 jobs and had to get it right for the sake of peace. I started calling around and they were just weird phone calls. No emotion. I called the woman who runs our venue and asked her if she had any officiant with emotion and that cared about their job. She said I would call Jeannie Walton and only Jeannie Walton. You will love her. I was blown away. She asked me so many smart questions and taught me so much. I knew right away that Ieshia would love her. We met that week, she described the wedding perfectly we understood everything and loved it. Ieshia said I get it and I can now breathe!! Jeannie then told us about other things we would never have known. The summer before our wedding we went to about 10 micro weddings with family and friends and we really wanted ours to stand out. Jeannie started throwing out ideas and WE were so excited we chose everything for our wedding and chose our processional right then and there. It was fun and what a relief for both of us. We knew the ceremony was great. A few of my buddies were tearing up. It was more than we could every ask for. Thank you Jeannie and sorry this is late !!!!!

Do not hesitate She does a phenomenal job teaching and with the ceremony

Searching for an officiant was interesting. We got a lot of what is your date, I am open this is how much it is and if you want information please fill out the form on my website. Then my fiance' called Jeannie at Walton Weddings. The first things she asked is do you have time to talk? She asked about us, asked if we had any thoughts about our ceremony then lovingly spent time teaching him about what he wanted to know and more. HE CALLED ME AND SAID I HAVE THE ONE! We had so much fun learning. She made us feel normal. I am not a planner and was having a very hard time. Once we talked I felt confident with our ceremony and planning. We had an amazing day and ceremony. It was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Great job I enjoyed myself

Jeannie was the best. I wanted to relax and enjoy my wedding and I did. I loved the planning tips she gave me so I could relax. The ceremony was amazing, I could not have dreamed of anything different. My parents and in laws loved it and we got so many compliments. My cousin is going to hire Jeannie. I would have paid more if she wanted it as everything was worth 10x's what she gave us. I was in a lot of weddings and never did I experience the care she showed!! Thank you Jeannie

AMAZING gave us great ideas made it easy, explained a lot

Our wedding was in 2021, Jeannie told us in the beginning she would not ask for a review because of Covid. I just looked at our wedding pictures and was overwhelmed with happiness and thought I have to write this. I am a groom. It was my job to find an officiant. I called 4 men and 1-woman officiants and was not excited. Some of the prices were doubled what we paid but more importantly I felt like I was a customer. I then called Jeannie and she was warm, engaging, caring and asked me if I had time to talk. We talked for an hour. During this time, I was blown away. Jeannie really cared and was interested in us and teaching me as a groom who gets nervous to feel confident. She asked about my parents and grandmother and suggested I could walk with my parents and walk back down the aisle to walk my grandmother who I call my girl. I know grandma will not be around forever and I wanted everyone to know what a great woman she is. My fiancé wanted a first look, and I thought it was stupid. Jeannie explained the difference of a first look and not having a first look so I could make an informed decision. Once she explained I said I am doing it. By the way our first look was FANTASTIC I am not a crier and I cried. I was overwhelmed with love and thankfulness. Jeannie explained what would happen at the rehearsal and I felt better immediately. I felt safe and that we could enjoy the wedding and trust her. That meant a lot to me as we both are supervisors at work in busy fields and I wanted to relax. Our wedding rehearsal was great, Jeannie explained everything. There are things she does that I did not see at my siblings' weddings. These little touches were special. I was at peace, and I could sleep that night and the following. Our wedding day went perfectly. We got so many compliments. It could not have gone better. We just both felt like we were floating. Jeannie had it all under control. Since no one knows me on here I will say I have a difficult sister and my wife's mom can be very difficult. We talked to Jeannie about this, and she gave us suggestions on how to handle them. It was a relief. The day of the wedding Jeannie was sure to talk to them both and compliment them and give them some attention and it worked like a charm There are so many things that go on when planning a wedding and some of it is super stressful. Jeannie helped us understand what would happen that day, talked to us about the timeline so we understood why each thing was so important. Again, since you do not know me, I will tell you when my friends were married the guys would say I am not helping this is her job. When we talked to Jeannie, she explained how to reduce stress, work as a team and be done 6 weeks in advance. As a supervisor at work, it all clicked. I better get it together and help where before I was saying let's go out to lunch or dinner, we can do it later.
We highly recommend Jeannie!!! We also needed a photographer and DJ. The vendors she gave us were also outstanding. Our day turned out so well. Even now when I think about it, I just get emotional.
Jeannie thank you for caring about us and making our memory of our wedding ceremony perfect for us. We are referring you to friends and hope to see you next year at their wedding!

Incredible

Hiring Jeannie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! From the first conversation to the wedding day, she was the most professional, helpful, and organized person we dealt with the entire time (and there were a lot of people and vendors we dealt with who were not). She was kind, funny, and made the experience so enjoyable! She also stepped up and dealt with difficult people when needed. I could not recommend her enough!! She also recommended our photographer and the photos came out great! Hire her! She will help make your day everything you want it to be!

So Amazing Kind Helpful

We are so glad we found Walton Weddings early. Jeannie referred us to our band Green 14, (who was Awesome!), to our photographer and florist. It was fantastic, it made planning and our day wonderful. We wanted a unique ceremony and had many ideas and Jeannie kept saying wonderful we can to that. Our ceremony came out perfect! We loved every moment. Our family is still taking about it. Our friends have asked for her number. It is such a special memory. We will never forget it and we will never forget how kind and loving Jeannie was.

Loved the whole process Learned a lot

We loved the whole process. Planning our ceremony was wonderful, easy and great. We learned so much about everything. They met with us for an 1 1/2 hours and were so kind. I was a nervous bride until I understood things.
Our rehearsal was so much fun. We both loved it and were so relaxed after it.

Our ceremony was a dream come true. I was nervous but became relaxed when John started. It was wonderful. We added a few fun things and our guests loved it. People still comment on our wedding.

Awesome Fun Nice Wonderful

Sorry this is so late!! We had a WONDERFUL CEREMONY. It was all that I dreamed for and more. I loved the romance and fun mixed in. The laughter helped me breathe . When my father gave me away I so appropriate you letting the music go so he could stand there and compose himself. We are so close. It was perfect.
The ideas you gave us added so much to our ceremony.

Excellent Informative Helpful Best

We had the best time planning our ceremony and learning about our day. My husband talked to Jeannie first. He was super nervous. Hates speaking in front of people. I did not know this but they did several coaching calls with his vows! Planning was a breeze. Jeannie taught us about more than our ceremony. We learned about our entire day. We needed a photographer so she gave us an excellent referal and it was a great fit. We had a huge wedding party and 5 kids. They loved her and so did our parents. We had the best wedding day. Our ceremony was so great our family thought she knew us for a long time. I would say do not hesitate. I wish we would have hired her earlier so we could have been calmer planning. The things she told me put us both at peace.

Officiant/Planner/Keep you Chill Extraordinaire

Jeannie was recommended by our venue, and they steered us right! Being from Devner and getting married in Chicago, you'd think it would be hard to navigate how we were going to get this done. Jeannie made everything quite easy and simple. She wants things done early, so you can 1)enjoy this time of being engaged 2) worry about the other things 3) to be pleasantly surprised on the day of your wedding, which all happened for us!

Jeannie gives great advice along the way while balancing the option to have creative freedom in your ceremony. Most of my guests thought we had known her previously, but really all it took was an hour phone conversation of getting to know her, and a few emails back and forward.

Great experience, fun, worth it!

John was our officiant and he was so calming. I was a nervous groom. We took them up on a private pre rehearsal for the two of us befor the real rehearsal and I was so glad we did. I was so calm when our wedding came. Nan loved the whole experience, From beginning to end we loved it. I loved the choices of vows it made it easy for me as the groom. I liked how I was educated so I could help Nan make great choices. I felt so good about this choice. We did not have our other vendors yet so they suggested 3 other vendors, we went with all 3 and it was awesome! I dreded helping Nan plan our wedding because I knew nothing. I was never in a wedding and only went 1 wedding. I cannot say enough nice things. John was cool. Everyone liked him.

AMAZING Wonderful Helpful More than an officiant

I was asked to find our officiant. I called several people and all I heard was what is your date, here is my fee let me know if I can help you. Then I called Jeannie and she asked about us, our plans, my fiance. She told me she loved when grooms called. She asked if I wanted to learn about the process of a ceremony and the wedding day. I was so happy and relieved. She treated me with respect and I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She kept saying I am here for you and I want you to feel great on your wedding day. I want you to be calm and relaxed so you love it. I will teach you and your fiance all about everything and she did. We loved her. It was like a wedding officiant, wedding educator and a planner in one. Our parents and wedding party loved her. We had 2 ring bearers and 3 flower girls she won them over and it was so cute. She was fun and then reeled them in when she needed to. Then back to fun. We had the best ceremony and day. I am so glad we found her. 2 of my groomsmen are booking her. We were going to let our friend do our wedding. We wanted our wedding to feel personal and the person that married us to know us. Well I have to say I HAD NO IDEA how much went into a wedding ceremony before after and during and no way could my friend handle that. Jeannie was like a friend and we had so much fun. My wife was so happy and that is what mattered to me. We have already told people at work about her and so have our parents. Thank you for all of your help you made out day!

Wonderful, Fun, Sweet, Kind and Great value for price!

We had such a great experience with Walton Weddings. Jeannie was so nice. We talked to several places and it was all business. Here is our date, this is my price let me know if you would like to book. Jeannie took a lot of time explaining things and answering questions. She cared. Our ceremony was fantastic. We loved her.

Since I write for a living I am trying to keep this short. The tips and timeline she sent saved me. I was obsessing over what am I missing, what should I do. I thought it was a bigger deal than it was.

Our rehearsal was fun. My friends rehearsals were a nightmare. Their uncle did their wedding did not know what he was doing and I feared what ours would be just like it. 35 minutes later everyone was smiling Nate and I were happy and excited for our wedding. We were all off to dinner!!

Our wedding day went so smoothly! I was early for everything thanks to what I was taught. Our photographer could not believe it. We had a blast. Our pictures before hand for a first look was worth it!

Our ceremony was so wonderful. It felt like slow motion. Everything was special and handled with care and love. Our 5 questions were such a surprise to our fiends and family and a high light!! We loved it! I can go on and on. I cannot say enough. The best!!

Great at her job and great price too!

Our wedding was amazing! Jeannie was great to work with. Our rehearsal was informative and laid back. We had a huge wedding party. Jeannie just smiled and kept things moving with kindness and jokes. Our wedding ceremony was perfect. We called around and taked with a few preferred officiants on the 2 wedding websites and found that the prices were quite high and her price was excellent. She did more than we expected. Love her!

What a blast and she gave me such great ideas

I loved working with Jeannie. She gave me such great ideas to make our wedding unique. When we met with her I could not make a decision to save my life. So I started asking her questions and she answered them all and I felt happy. At that point, I knew she was going to be my officiant. I must have asked her 25 questions about all sorts of things, and she was so sweet. Then when talked about our prosessional where she gave us a great idea about our grandmothers that was so cute. Our wedding ceremony was perfect. Jeannie gave us the name of her favorite photographer and we enjoyed working with them. Our pictures came out great. Jeannie did so much for us than just be an officiant. She was wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend her!

Jeannie is amazing!

From the first time I contacted Jeannie all the way through to the end, she was like a good friend. She was so caring and full of wisdom. She gave us solid advice and gave us many tips on how to make our day special. She was more than just an officiant, she was also like a wedding coordinator and a best friend. Her suggestions were fantastic! Many of our guests said it was one of the best ceremonies they ever attended. The ceremony was fun and personal with lots of laughs but also sacred as well.

Jeannie made our day very special. I am so happy we found her! Not only did she make our day joyous, I feel like I have found a friend for life. Call her, you will be so glad you did!

We were blown away on how caring, organized and kind Jeannie was. We were from out of town and she guided us every step of the way. She made sure everything looked perfect before the ceremony. Wow! We have been in many weddings so when we were ready to pick our officiant we wanted someone great that could bring out our vision. We wanted a fun, romantic, relaxed, fun ceremony because I lost my dad and he was fun. I wanted to honor his memory. I told my wedding coordinator how important my ceremony was and she said she would only go with Jeannie or John at Walton Weddings. When I talked with Jeannie I was blown away. She could see my vision and she gave me so many ways to honor my dad. She taught me so many things that I did not know about a wedding day and ceremony. I felt so relaxed and happy. I was so excited about my wedding! She did an amazing job taking care of both of us. OUr wedding was spectacular. We had 15 bridesmaids and 15 groomsmen, she did a great job keeping them in line and making us all look great. We were beyond happy! I felt so pleased. My bridesmaids were shocked because she asked them if they needed water or were they too warm. They all were in other weddings and said no one cares about the bridesmaids! WE LOVED OUR WEDDING. Jeannie is my fairy godmother. We are so happy and she also told us about her favorite photographer and we loved them too. It was a magical and wonderful day.

My wife Michelle and I got married on May 27, 2018 and Jeannie was our officiant and we absolutely loved her. Since the first time we met her we knew she would be perfect for us. Jeannie helped us out with everything from getting us prepared for the big day, to our timeline all the way to the wedding day and guiding us threw everything to make everything perfect. Our day was 100 degrees out and Jeannie went above and beyond to make sure everyone was ok and made sure nobody passed out. I would recommend Jeannie to everyone and anyone. John was our Minister. John and Jeannie are very patient. My wedding was a year and 1/2 ago and I promised I would write a review and here it is. Fantastic, we loved our process and our wedding. I am extremely unorganized, I sorta fly by the seat of my pants or so says my mom. I drove everyone crazy. Jeannie and John met with Armad and I and made Armad so happy. Sweetly Jeannie explained everything and John added a lot. We were happy! Everything made seance. Armad an accountant :), loves things in order and he found what he wanted. I liked them because they were fun. We loved our ceremony. It was so much fun. I just stood there and could not believe how magical it was. I always wanted to get married at the Zoo in front of the fountain to Armand. It was perfect. I would say do not hestitate. John did a fantastic job. Jeannie's tips and timeline made Armand happy so I would show up on time to marry him!!! My mom was thrilled. I want to do it all over again. Thanks for the best day of our lives. We love you two!!.

I was told to find an officiant and I hit the jackpot. I called several people and 2 got back to me. They said what is your date and here is your price. Very cold. The third person was Jeannie. She said tell me about you both and where are you getting married. She was so cool. We talked for an hour. I loved her! Jackpot! I told my fiance and we hired her right away. One of the things my fiance wanted was someone that could handle my guys and they loved Jeannie and she kept them in line with jokes and a look of hey guys! We loved our fun ceremony. We are still getting compliments. Jeannie made me look good as a groom too. Jeannies price was super low for what she did. We had her do extra's too. We had some stressful family dynamics with both our parents divorce. (they do not play well together and neither do their new spouses) Since she is s a Life Coach my wife and I met with her 5 times to really talk it out not only or our wedding day but for the first year of our marriage. It worked out great. My siblings noticed that the plan worked and my parents behaved! That was worth it! For a guy to say I loved our wedding I know is a bit weird but I did. I loved seeing my wife's face, the peace and happiness it was AWESOME! Thanks Jeannie, you rock!

John was wonderful. Sweet, kind, knowledgeable and fun. Everyone liked him. He made our ceremony and rehearsal. We both were nervous about everything. Once we did the rehearsal we were ready to get married!!!
Working with Walton Weddings was wonderful! Their price was so low compared to what they did. , We called around for prices and when they told us all they did compared to what others said my husband said grab them! We were glad we did!

Jeannie was amazing. From the first time we spoke with her she put us at ease. We were having a huge wedding (240) and a huge wedding party (24) it is our family tradition, I do not recommend it. I was overwhelmed and not excited about our wedding. Jeannie explained everything about our ceremony choices and gave us great ideas for putting some surprises in their. She then taught us about our entire day and what to expect. She told us how a time schedule would look like and how to have time in between things to breathe and get excited about our wedding. I asked her who she liked for a DJ and Photographer. By the time we were done talking I was so happy. Our wedding day was fantastic. Our ceremony was amazing. It was just what we wanted romantic, sweet and fun! We did not want a dull wedding and it was not dull. Jeannie was incredibly organized. We had some rowdy guys in the group and she won them over and they loved her. We highly recommend her.

When we first talked to Jeannie we were all smiles. All the stress of planning went away. We were so happy! Everything made sense! Planning our ceremony was way more fun than we thought. It became more than we ever thought possible. We wanted to include our parents so we did a something special for them at the beginning of the ceremony. They loved it. Jeannie loved our story so she did a great job pulling some funny stories out of us and telling our guests them. She wove in a bit of romance too. We are still getting compliments. Dave and I thought our ceremony was not too important. We were only concerned with our reception and the party. After we did our rehearsal I was so excited about the ceremony. After our actual ceremony I was thrilled. I am so glad we found Jeannie. I would have done a very simple walk in walk out ceremony with no meaning. We loved our ceremony. We got a ton of compliments. Professional, Super Reasonable, because they give you so much more than a regular officiant . We talked to several officiants and they were nice and business like. When we talked with Jeannie and John we could feel how much they cared. They gave us a ton of information we thought we knew but we did not. Jeannie gave us a tip sheet to teach us about the entire wedding day not just the ceremony. My fiancé was smiling because I was smiling. Relief!

Our officiant was John and he was a loving, calming presence. He made sure we were all good and then we walked down the aisle. His smile was so reassuring. We were very nervous at first and then everything went so well. It was like I was floating.

We HIGHLY recommend them. When you shop for vendors look at value for what they do. Going cheaper is not a good idea, we had to fire our photographer after our engagement session. We learned an expenisve lesson. Go professional and have a great wedding day.

Wow, I could not have asked for someone better to help me though planning our wedding ceremony and performing it. Right before our
August wedding I called in and talked to your assistant. She said you took a 2 weeks off to care for your mom. That night you got back to me as if I was the only bride in the world. I talked to a lot of officants and not many spent time answering questions I had. When I spoke with Jeannie she tool a lot of time with me and not only answered the questions I had but told me so much more about my wedding day. The fee for our ceremony and rehearsal was a great price. It was more reasonable than the other officants we talked to and they explained so much more. John was our officant for our wedding. He was so nice and so calm at the rehearsal. We were both anxious with having so many out of town guests fly in. Once we saw John we calmed down. Our ceremony was wonderful. So fun, sweet and very romantic. John added so much with his kind ways. We felt so comfortable.

So sorry for the 4 month delay in reviewing you. You were my all star! You know how much we love baseball well you were the best on the team.

When I was first engaged I thought I got this. I am 33, a manager of my department, super organized, talented and fun. Then I started looking at wedding things, like venues, dj's, photographers made a few calls and then burst out in tears. I did not know anything! How hard could this all be really, I have been in 3 weddings! Well quickly I found out that I had to learn a lot. Thankfully my friend Angie told me to do 2 things get a venue and call you. You did her cousins wedding and they still ltalk about you.

You made me feel calm, I was relaxing and my husband was so HAPPY!! You calmly and sweetly told us all about a wedding ceremony and gave us great ideas.
Handing over me and my dad handing over my childhood bat to my husband and his parents giving his bat to me was hysterical. It was the best unity ceremony.

When we talked about our uneven wedding party and the one problem hmmm sister you had a great idea that would solve it all. I began breathing again. :).

When you said what questions can I answer about how to make your wedding day better I jumped inside. You were so extremely kind. You made me feel smart.
When you took out paper and started making notes for me to see I got it!!! I got wedding planning and how my wedding would be. I kept those papers so I could help someone else.

We had such a great wedding day. The rain was just rain, we stayed calm and took pictures inside. When you told me about a first look vs pictures I did not even know about that. I loved it. We were ready to get married. We love all the attention to detail, writing our ceremony and sending it to me early. Your smile the day of our wedding made me feel confident. Everything was perfect, sweet, fun and amazing.

Rev. Jeannie is more than an Officiant. Our first meeting she shared all of her ideas from order of events, when do do your rehearsal, what moments are great for the photographer, to making sure we got 5 minutes to ourselves to take in the day. I don't know that I would have thought of all of those things. We were hooked! We had lots of communication via email, she sent us example vows, readings, ceremony programs etc. Which I absolutely loved. I merged a bunch of things together and sent it back to her. Rehearsal: She is extremely professional and on top of everything. She communicates with the venue to make sure everything is just perfect. Day of - she was even pulling bobbypins out of her hair to fix a falling curl in mine. Mother hen, fairy godmother, officiant & planner all in one! In the moment: so our venue lost our locks for our love lock ceremony from my rehearsal 3 days before. Rev Jeannie played it cool adding in a story about how things happen in life and we have to adapt, make due and continue on. It was the most beautiful thing and we just pretended. After, she told us that once the venue bought us new locks we all would go back and have an actual little love lock ceremony. She is a very sweet and funny woman and was an absolute blessing for our wedding! Note to all the brides out there, book early! Reasonable officiants are hard to find!!

Trish and I are so happy, you went above and beyond then Trish got sick. My family loved you, I loved you and Trish was overwhelmed with your kindness. As a groom I was clueless and when I had to take over everything the best thing I did was call you. All of the vendors you recommended were WONDERFUL!! They made our lives so easy and like you explained everything so well.

Your tips helped me feel confident. I thought I would never be able to do this on my own but it really was not that hard. You took the time to care and that made me feel so comfortable. Trish was worried and as I told her little by little what I was doing her worry went away and she would smile. I know know what it means to be a husband and to stand up and do the hard things.

Our ceremony was amazing. How you got our rowdy loud wedding party to look good was shocking. They all said you were funny and fun. You made Trish feel so cared for and for that I am so thankful. When she walked down the aisle I thought I was going to pass out. Thank you for grabbing my arm and talking me through. I just loved every part and seeing Trish so happy was the best.

My parents were thrilled with the ceremony, blending our families and faiths we knew would not be easy, but you made it super easy. We got so many compliments, had so much fun. Thank you for truly doing what you said you would do !

You were a life saver. I did not think I would be anxious at my rehearsal and wedding day. I am so glad you were there to talk me through everything. I did not want the guys and my Maggie to know. I am always the one who it the rock for everyone else.

Going over the ceremony with me before the wedding was just the thing I needed. I am so glad Jeannie suggested that we see each other before the wedding for pictures. Jeannie has a great personality and good sense of humor, which was a good fit for us. She was really detailed and descriptive about every aspect of the ceremony. She was also open to many of the ideas we wanted to add to our ceremony. We went with our gut and booked her. She sent emails with wedding tips that not only pertain to the ceremony process, which we found very helpful. These emails kept us on track with our wedding planning.
She arrived early at the hotel for our rehearsal. We had a lot of kids participating in our wedding ceremony and we loved the way she spoke to them. She made each of them feel that they had a very important job and those kids really paid attention to her instructions. My husband and I were definitely anxious during the rehearsal but Jeannie really put us at ease. She was so great and had control of the whole room, including the adults!
Our wedding ceremony was so beautiful. She really brought all of our ideas together flawlessly and she added some beautiful wording. She really knew our personalities and sense of humor. When my husband was trying to put my ring on, I helped him push it a little further onto my finger. She said to my husband, “Can you make sure that ring is on tight? I want you to be the last person touching that ring.” It was really cute.
I noticed when we received our wedding pictures Jeannie stepped out of every important picture during the ceremony. We had so many great pictures with just me and my husband. We had a beautiful picture of us in our cord and veil and most importantly the kiss! I never even thought about asking an officiant to do that but Jeannie did it without us even knowing. She even brought me and my husband a cocktail right after the ceremony! She was such a great match for us. Our ceremony was perfect!

We could not have picked anyone better to pronounce us husband and wife! Jeannie kept everyone in line and made it a breeze for us to walk down the aisle and say I DO! Her personality is just amazing and so fitting for what we wanted. We're not very serious people and wanted to add some fun into the ceremony - she had everyone laughing! Jeannie truly cares about the bride and groom and it shows. Everyone was so complimentary of the ceremony. Rev. Jeannie was awesome! I chose her because she was close to where I lived and I'm glad I did. Everything was wonderful! Rev. Jeannie is very reasonable in price and gives you a good quality ceremony. She helps to guide you through the process of your ceremony. She is all about making sure that the bride and grooms day is special and is quick to put everyone in line. We had some issues with our ceremony location but Rev. Jeannie took charge as much as she could to get things right. She helped to make sure that our ceremony was beautiful.

I was late to the wedding and she was completely flexible. I was so happy with my officiant. She even offered to help my husband and I find a new church close by and talk my family down who were super angry about the marriage happening so fast. She was so sweet and easy going. Very formal and polite and very relaxed all at the same time.

Jeannie was AMAZING the day of our wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure all the details were perfect and above and beyond what she was required to do.

Our ceremony was outdoors, she asked the venue to turn off a pump for the pond right behind the ceremony spot so the guests would be able to hear better (and they did.)

She knew the wind was blowing the opposite direction of where I was going to be standing for the ceremony. She asked if I wanted to switch sides with my soon to be hubby so the wind would be blowing towards me and my veil would not be blowing in my face. We decided that would be a great idea and switched sides. It may not have been traditional but it worked out perfectly that I was still able to wear my veil and it was not blowing in my face the entire ceremony. She also made sure my veil was securely fastened to my hair.

After the ceremony I wanted 1 big picture with all our guests in the lobby of our venue. She knew about this, stayed after the ceremony and helped the photographer get everyone arranged and ready. She then brought in my husband and I into the room where everyone was ready and waiting for us. She directed us to the front of the picture where she had a spot open for us. I felt like a celebrity being escorted in and then the first ones escorted out of the picture when we were complete. She really knows how to control a crowd when she needs to.

She wouldn't know all the little tricks or be able to control a crowd if she weren't experienced. She definitely is!

Jeannie was the best choice we could have made to marry us. She was personable with our guest, attentive to me, and wasn't afraid to speak up when needed! She cared for us like she had known us for years, and took special care and notice of our one year old son. Jeannie made sure to keep us relaxed, cool and hydrated and smiling. I just wish we had found her sooner so we could have more time before the wedding!

My husband & I are so happy we chose Jeannie to officiate our wedding. Upon meeting her, she makes you feel like you have known her for a very long time. We had our ceremony & reception at the same venue. If you are familiar with DiNolfo's Banquets...you know exactly what I am talking about. There was another ceremony going on at the same time as ours & Jeannie hurried them along so we can have the whole floor to ourselves! She was amazing. She also helped bustle my dress because the bustle broke! She scrambled around for pins to pin my dress up. She does it all! Beyond that she is super sweet & funny. Our guests loved the ceremony...thought it was beautiful. Jeannie writes out the ceremony far in advance for you, so you feel worry free leading up to the big day. She is also very responsive & honest with you. When my husband and I reflect on the big day, we always bring her up & how great she was. If we don't see her again, we will always remember her! Our Home Family Wedding Barrington Il

We were blending 2 families with young 20's and late teens. It can be sticky at times because they each have their own wants and needs. So when I thought of getting married I thought OH NO ! these kids are going to drive me nuts. Well as soon as I told Jeannie of my delema she listened to everything we were going through and made such helpful suggetions. We did a tree ceremony so each child could participate. I wanted it outside on our enclosed huge porch and it was freezing and Jeannie just smiled.
All of the kids loved her ( miracle they all did at once ). We had fun, laughs and it was all very sweet. I could not have asked for anything better. Rev. Walton is an amazing person and officiant.
Don't hesitate hire her !

Thank you for taking so much time when we first met. Explaining our options for our wedding ceremony made us feel so comfortable and allowed us to put in special things to honor our parents. We both are so thankful that you told us what a wedding day schedule looked like and why it was important to start early and rest an hour before the wedding.You were right it was an exciting and busy day. I am so glad you explained why it was important to have pictures before the wedding. It made the day so much more special. David and I loved seeing each other before the wedding it took a lot of the jitters away. You really went out of your way to help us both feel so relaxed, educated about weddings and comfortable! Thank you so much for noticing David looked faint !!!! I am so glad you asked him if he ate and got him food. It would have been horrible if he fainted ! We loved our day, our ceremony was amazing. Thank you for not only taking wonderful care of us but our family and wedding party. Oh and something that I did not understand but took your advice on having our rehearsal 4 days in advance. Well the day after our wedding I totally got it. The days before our wedding were so much more relaxed and the bridesmaids thanked us for not having it the day before! Jeannie, as you know we both were so nervous about our wedding ceremony. We thought we would make mistakes as we repeated our vows or say something wrong. mI hate standing in front of people and talking too !! When Garrett and I met with you we both knew right away we could relax. You explained things so well. I appricate you ansering all of our questions and I know I had more than any bride because of my fear. I felt so relieved!!!!!! Thank you for writing our wedding ceremony so early so I could know it was done and I could read it everyday.

I loved loved loved having the rehearsal the Monday piror and so did our parents and wedding party ! We all had fun at the dinner and did not feel rushed the week before the wedding. My mom kept saying I wish your sister would have had her rehearsal the days before ! Garrett and I had so much fun and all the worring I did was for nothing!! Once we went through it all I could think about was getting married.

I was so happy you came to see me before the ceremony. I felt so good. Garret said the same.

You listened to what we wanted and you did an out standing job with our
ceremony. Katrina wanted romatic, sweet and memorable and I wanted an
element of fun and playful. We both loved every minute. Thank you for
slipping in my love note to Kat. She was so suprised, I knew it would make her

I am so glad you told us about taking pictures before hand it did not ruin the first time I saw her when she
walked down the aisle my eyes were glued to her. She looked so stunning.
Katrina said she felt like she was floating and her parents were hoding her so she
would not fly away. Her mom and dad and my mom and dad loved the ceremony.
Including our parents with them walking us down the aisle and in our tree ceremony
was wonderful. Our dads actually liked putting the soil in the tree with our moms.
I loved our tree ceremony. We both love doing landscaping and will always love our tree.

Our wedding party said this was the first wedding rehearsal they liked. My grandparents gave

Dear Jeannie,
Wonderful, magical, romantic, sweet, endearing, perfect, easy ceremony planning,
happy, fun, relaxed, laughter, tears of joy, excitement and much more.
I wanted to write to tell you the words our family and friends used to describe
our wedding ceremony. We had such a wonderful time. I felt like I was
just floating though the entire ceremony. I am so glad you suggested the
shaded area at Pilcher Park .

Both of our moms and Greg's step mom loved you !! You handled the mom situation so well

they all felt important and loved.

One thing I was worried about when looking for an officiant is we wanted

the wedding to say who we are. We are not people of faith and some officiants

we talked to were really not to nice about allowing us to have what we wanted in

our wedding. When I first talked with you I thought now this is what a minister is

supposta be. Someone that cares for other and does not make demands on them and

force them to believe what they believe..

We just wanted you to know the extra time you put into every detail was so kind

and loving of you. You are one of a kind. A sweetie that cares deeply for

others. You made a wonderful memory for Greg and I.

Oh I almost forgot !! Having my dad walk me down the aisle and mom

mom stand when you asked "Who give this woman to this man?"

was so special to have my mom and dad say we do. The pictures of them

kissing me is one of my favorites. When Greg asked his grandma and mom

to walk him down the aisle Grandma stared crying. Grandma thought

she would bring the shells since her and Greg use to shell hunt.

She kept saying my baby boy. ( her 6'6 270 lb baby boy!!!) She has told all her

friends and shows the pictures. She says this is my baby boy !! How cute !

It was perfect !!

Our wedding was the most important day of our lives thus far (no children yet) and it was perfect! Jeannie was a BIG part of that perfection!! She is such a kind sincere lady with sweet words. Jeannie was very responsive, met with us to get to know us and what we wanted in our ceremony, she provided great ideas for our ceremony and guidance when we were ready to put the ceremony together. We had four other officiants to meet with and cancelled our appointments after we first met Jeannie. We both knew she was the perfect fit and didn’t want to waste our time. Our wedding was a romantic, vintage, intimate wedding with 60 of our dearest family members and friends. The ceremony was flawless! We welcomed Jeannie to stay for dinner, cocktails and dancing. It was lovely and we are sure Jeannie had a great time too. Since our wedding, over a year ago, Jeannie still keeps in touch with us. Rev Jeannie was amazing!! She officiated our May 2013 wedding ceremony at the Butterfield Family Pavilion in Valparaiso and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She provided us with a good variety of readings, prayers, and vows to pick from, but also gave us the option to write/choose our own if we wanted. She also gave great suggestions on a variety of unity ceremonies that we could have included. It was really easy to personalize our ceremony. I mentioned that we wanted something said about my rings because they were my grandma's. Rev Jeannie included a few lines in our ceremony that were so sweet and heartfelt they brought tears to my mom and grandpa's eyes. But more than the great ceremony, she was a HUGE help in the organization and flow of the wedding and with our very energetic 2 year old daughter. She literally held our daughter's hand and had her walk down the aisle (as the flower girl) before everyone else so that by the time I came in as the bride and be settled and not a distraction. Rev Jeannie went above and beyond by helping during dinner and after with our daughter giving our family a break from keeping track of her. We got lots of compliments on both the ceremony and Rev Jeannie. Our guests couldn't believe we hadn't known her our whole lives!

Rev. Jeannie performed our wedding ceremony. My husband and I were a little reluctant having an officiant marry us who was a "stranger." Rev. Jeannie did not feel like a stranger at all, in fact many people who attended the wedding thought she was part of the family based on how well she fit in. She met with us so we could get to know each other, and was very helpful in helping us plan a romantic ceremony. We wrote our own vows and she was very helpful in giving us examples and ideas to get us rolling. We couldn't be happier with our ceremony and Rev. Jeannie!!!

Jeannie did a fabulous service for our son's wedding. She worked with the kids on their vows and made it personal for them. She was so helpful the day before at the rehearsal, helping us organize and get everything set up. I would recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding. Cheryl & Tom Mangan

My grandpa passed away the day of my wedding Jeannie stood a few extra hours extra to console the family. I hired her to be an officiant but she walked away family.

Jeannie Walton is a wonderful Officiant. She was extremely helpful in making my groom and I very relaxed and at ease the day of our wedding and even during the planning process. Jeannie sends over forms to help you plan out your perfect, individualized ceremony. I really liked that because we made it exactly what we wanted. She joined us for our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony & reception. You are by far one of the greatest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. God has a plan and I thank Him for making you a part of mine. The moment we met I felt like we were old friends - you are just so easy to be around and your sincerity is so abundant that everything you do is truly so very kind and you can feel that you act straight from your heart. Daryn and I feel truly blessed to have you not only perform our beautiful ceremony, but also share with us the entire wedding. the day of my wedding. Marty and I loved how you made sure we were relaxed and it felt like we knew you forever. We have gotten so many compliments on our ceremony. Our parents loved you too ! Our rehearsal was a blast, you were right it really helped us relax. The guys were thinking of ways to tease you the day of our wedding. Reverand Jeannie was amazing! I don't even know where to begin! First off, my whole family loved her and she is so easy to get along with and talk to. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable. She took a lot of time to write my ceremony for me and with my type A personality she honored all my ideas and choices, which I really loved. At my ceremony location there wasn't much guidance from the people that worked there, but she was so confident, prepared, and took charge and knew what she was doing! She's not just an officiant, she also helps with some of the wedding planning. I got to choose my own readings and we read our vows, which turned out to be so beautiful. She helped the men get ready for the ceremony and is great with the little ones. She also took more of her time to run through our ceremony an extra time during the rehearsal.
