My pastor helped me through everything!
My pastor thought that i needed him to walk 5 miles to the venue on foot and he said absolutely
He was very relieved when he realized i said .5 miles
But he was so nice and even though people were late (me) he stayed and occupied everyone with stories and kept a very wonderful spirit!
I highly recommend him! -

We love Dave, Everyone Should Love Dave
We absolutely adored having Dave as our wedding officiant. We had the great pleasure of doing premarital counseling with Dave and are so thankful for the kind words and wisdom he bestowed upon us but also the many laughs and stories we’ll have for years to come. Dave was a great joy to have around on our wedding day and we can’t thank him enough for his ability to roll with punches and keep the people happy when there was need for it. Dave has one of the greatest personalities and puts it into everything he does. I truly hope we have the ability to stay in touch with Dave for years to come. I cannot praise him enough and recommend him highly. Thank you Dave for everything! -

Reverend Dave delivered an amazing wedding ceremony for us in mid-December. We initially met with Reverend Dave months ago to discuss our vision and get to know each other. He took his job VERY seriously and worked hard to ensure we had the ceremony we wanted. He is very professional and gives 100% to each wedding he officiates. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to officiate our elopement than Reverend Dave. It was just him and the two of us, secluded in the North Georgia mountain woods, and he somehow made the entire day feel incredibly intimate, magical, and deeply meaningful. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond, even willing to stand in a creek with us if that’s what we wanted (which says everything about his spirit and flexibility). What truly set Reverend Dave apart was how personal everything felt. Nothing about our ceremony felt procedural or “textbook.” Every word he spoke was thoughtful, intentional, and clearly rooted in who we are as a couple. His reflections on our relationship were genuine and heartfelt, and the way he guided our vows made the moment feel sacred and unforgettable. Meeting with him a few times before the big day meant so much to us. Those conversations added a layer of connection and care that made the ceremony even more special. We felt truly seen, understood, and celebrated. We are beyond grateful for the role he played in one of the most important days of our lives and cannot recommend Reverend Dave highly enough. -

We met Dave over a few calls and got along with him great. He always said it was our wedding, and was flexible whenever we recommended changes. He made the process very easy to follow, and would recommend him to anyone getting married. I also highly recommend his pre-martial counseling!

Reverand Dave was the first and only wedding officiant we interviewed with. He is much more than a man that reads at your wedding. We appreciated meeting with him well-before the wedding where he wanted to get to know us better and also discuss wedding-day topics that couples don't often consider but are relieved to have made a decision about. Those small things added up into a marvelous ceremony. He was generous with his time, reliably responsive, and always willing to lend us guidance. It was clear he has ample wisdom from years of serving as an officiant, and his actions consistently demonstrated that he sincerely cared about us and wanted our wedding day to proceed as we had dreamed. Further, he anticipated opportunities regarding potential shortcomings and addressed these early-on to ensure every detail was accounted for.
After the wedding, he personally went to get our marriage license certificate and mailed it to us. He did much more legwork and mentoring than I would have ever expected from a wedding officiant. In my opinion, the cost requested for his service is far lower than I believe he deserves considering the value he added to our wedding experience. So, I recommend you take advantage of his humility and dedication to service, which reflect upon him personally, and his many years serving our country with the US Army.
He is personable, wise, and passionate about what he does. To illustrate, he is someone I would want to spend time with at the reception after the ceremony. I would recommend Reverand Dave to anyone I care about, and I strongly recommend you consider him too.

If you are looking for a unique, funny and one of a kind officiant, Rev. Dave is your guy. He was super easy to work with and such a memorable officiant. My husband and I have never been married before (obviously) so we had no clue where to start or what to do but Rev. Dave made it so easy.
A testament to Rev. Dave's character is when our wedding coordinator had a emergency and was late to our rehearsal, Rev. Dave stepped up and took charge. We were able to run through the rehearsal with his help, until the coordinator arrived. Thank you Rev. Dave!! -

A Seamless, Special Experience
My wife and I interviewed several officiants before meeting Reverend Hilburn. After our initial meeting, we knew he’d be our officiant. He is charismatic, creative, and funny.
In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding Rev. Dave would check in with us, offer guidance on ceremonies, and make sure each detail was accounted for. We went into the wedding knowing their ceremony was taken care of.
On the day of, he knocked it out of the park. The unique ceremony he enabled us to create was spectacular. He masterfully ebbed and flowed between moments of seriousness and moments of hilarity (where the whole room was laughing).
I’ve never been at a wedding where so many people enjoyed the ceremony. Rev. Dave is an experienced and skilled officiant that you need to seriously consider officiating your wedding.

Pastor Dave is beyond professional, friendly, and hilarious! He gets to know couples so well with preparatory meetings prior to the big day. He also did the rehearsal with us thoroughly and on time. Dave works well with all vendors including the wedding planner. He got to know our guests at the wedding too! Beyond recommend Pastor Dave‘s services! -

AMAZING!!! Friendly, responsive and hilarious.
My *now* husband found Rev. Dave and we could not be more thankful than having him as our officiant for our wedding. From easy and painless premarital counseling to the actual wedding day, Rev. Rev Dave Hilburn stayed in contact with us through our wedding experience!
Rev Dave Hilburn offered his thoughts for our wedding, from a clergy point of view, without insisting on what was right or wrong. He was flexible when we were adamant that we wanted not only a "best man", but also a "worst man" in our ceremony! We included both names in our wedding bulletin. Rev Dave offered premarital counseling as a service, but id not insist that we have it, which was a big plus for us. Our wedding was very small. We gave him about 6-7 weeks notice and he was able to accommodate us. -

Rev Dave was a pleasure to work with. He was familiar with our venue, which was an extra bonus, since he had some relative experience at the location. Our wedding was a first for both of us, and it was nice to have Rev Dave to help walk us through the process. We did a few Zoom meetings so he could feel out exactly what we wanted. He arrived an hour before the ceremony to make sure everything was set and go over any last minuet questions. I thought his price was more than fair and really a great value. I would highly recommend him. -
