    Our Wedding Ceremony

    We had an awesome experience! Brad was amazing, more than I expected for our custom ceremony. We were joined by our family and friends in this intimate setting. I would definitely recommend the Love Chapel NYC for anyone looking to get married, and considering something on a smaller scale for their civil ceremony.

    It was an amazing experience and Mr. Lu made it memorable with his kind words and thoughtfulness wouldn't have done it any other way thank you sir.

    Awesome ceremony!

    Rev. Brad was amazing throughout the weeks before and during the ceremony itself. He accommodated all of our requests and was kind and appropriately funny during the ceremony itself.

    Perfect!!!

    Everything met my expectations!! The chapel was beautiful and it had enough room for my 14 guests. I’m a Christian and my husband is a Muslim. Rev Brad read a verse from the Quran also which was a plus. If your wedding is small I recommend having it in the chapel because it’s close to central park and you can go take the rest of your pictures there!

    Rev. Brad was excellent! He was extremely easy to communicate with.

    Great officiant for our wedding!

    Reverend Brad was a great officiant for our wedding. Since we had our ceremony at our reception hall, we wanted to incorporate as much of the church/religious segments of the ceremony as we can, without dragging it out or having it be too religious. Brad took all of our requests into consideration and created a wonderful ceremony that was personal to us, as he called us prior to get some background info on the two of us, our history, our relationship, etc. He even added some comic relief which was a nice touch! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an officiant, he can adjust his sermon to suit your needs!

    The Best Marriage Officiant in NYC

    Can’t thank you enough!!

    Brad was amazing from the jump! Since the first phone call, all the way up until our ceremony. He was very professional, funny (but didn’t overdo it), and respected Covid guidelines as well. He asked permission to remove his mask when he made sure we were a good distance apart from him. He made our day very special and we can’t thank him enough!

    Officiant Brad is really the Best! 🙂
    We couldn't asked more for our wedding.
    He made us feel comfortable and he helped us with our vows. He suggested the best way for us to do the ceremony and he also made us laugh.
    He made the ceremony a real moment of joy!

    Thank you Rev Brad!

    Brad was great from start to finish. We had a nice conversation from the get-go, and he was interested in adding personal information into our ceremony script after hearing how we met, etc. We ended up writing our own portion of the ceremony, also including a lot of Brad's suggestions as well - the results were personal, sweet, light, and funny - just what we wanted for our easy elopement on a NYC pier. Our guests absolutely loved Brad! Thanks for officiating our special day!

    Highly Recommend!

    We couldn't have asked for a better wedding officiant! Rev. Brad was very helpful in the careful planning of our wedding and made the process so easy. He dedicated the time to talk with us and get to know us. The ceremony was touching and personal, also light and refreshing. He had our guests both crying and laughing. Brad is experienced and professional and it was truly a pleasure working with him.

    amazing energy

    His energy is amazing, he was fun when he should be fun and serious when he should be serous. We had such a great moment, we and our guests loved him. I would recommend Rev Brad for all couple that want a very happy ceremony with a deep message about love.

    True professional

    Brad was perfect. He worked with us to get what we wanted--a very low key non-religious wedding. He was the perfect balance of having a presence at the wedding and making it nice for us, but knew he was not the main event. He was funny and warm, but was not trying to crack jokes all the time or make it about himself. He made us comfortable and it was a great time. He is truly a professional.

    I asked rev. Brad to officiate our wedding in the last moment. I couldn't have made a better choice.     Rev Brad Is Great

    Reverand Brad did a great job, he was very professional and is very easy to work with. He is very flexible and respectful of different religions and cultures, lifestyles and traditions. He took my families mix of Christian and catholic traditions and beliefs and it blended seamlessly at the ceremony.

    Perfect for my wedding!

    Rev Brad was easy to contact and his fees are simple. He made the overall process very stress-free and smooth which is totally helpful during the already stressful wedding planning.     Thank you, Reverend Brad!

    Reverend Brad is a charming and kind individual. His calm and friendly disposition paired with his comedic nature is just the energy we wanted from someone who would be presiding over our union. He had our guests laughing, and had my husband and myself laughing as well. What really makes Reverend Brad great is his willingness to learn about and incorporate various traditions into the ceremony. We "jumped the broom" and had a true African American Ceremony since I am Black American and my husband is Nigerian. Reverend Brad was with it, and we would choose Rev Brad again and again!

    Reverend Brad was absolutely fantastic! Our ceremony was the perfect balance of intimate, funny, and heartwarming.     Beautiful Ceremony!

    We only met Brad in person once and had two brief phone calls with him, but in that time, he was able to put together a ceremony that was perfect for us. He has a list of suggested readings and you can pick which you feel represents you as a couple, he’s also very flexible and accommodating with how you want your ceremony to be. The ceremony was beautiful and the perfect length of time, not too long, not too short. Many of our guests told us after that they thought he did a great job. We’re happy we went with Brad to officiate our ceremony!

He was responsive and professional throughout the process - beginning with an informational phone call, an in-person meeting before the big day, and showing up promptly for the ceremony.     We hired Reverend Brad to officiate our multicultural ceremony. From the start, Rev Brad was professional, responsive, and attentive to all of our questions, concerns and requests. He conducted the most beautiful ceremony, with elements of both of our religions used in very tasteful and thoughtful ways. He truly exceeded our expections in every aspect and was extremely well received by all in attendance. We would highly recommend Reverend Brad Lau.

    Rev Brad was an amazing officiant and I would highly recommend. Everyone told me how amazing the ceremony was and how great Rev Brad was. He's a wonderful speaker who's very eloquent and also funny and warm. He commands the room and had everyone paying attention and enjoying the ceremony. I highly recommend him to make your ceremony beautiful, special, and one that everyone will rave about. He also encouraged us to do our own vows and I'm so glad we did because it was the best part!

    Rev. Brad was awesome! Before the wedding, we had a conference call over the phone to mull over each point of the ceremony as to not leave anything ambiguous. He gave several suggestions on what we could do or say during our ceremony, which I truly appreciated. On the day of the wedding, he came to our reserved suite to cordially greet my bride and I. He was funny and tried to lighten the atmosphere since everyone seemed a bit nervous, excited, and a flurry of emotions all rolled into one. During the actual ceremony, he gave a wonderful and funny speech which really went over well with my guests. I received many compliments from my guests that the reverend I chose was really good. Without a doubt in my mind, Rev. Brad is one of the best in this business. You really will not go wrong choosing him.

    Reverend Brad officiated our wedding this month in Brooklyn Bridge Park and there are no words to describe how amazing he was!! The ceremony was the perfect mix of spiritual/religious and romantic - he even went above and beyond and personalized it with some funny stories about our dating journey. Reverend Brad took the time to meet with us before he ceremony which made both of us feel even more comfortable. On the day of our wedding, he was prompt, professional and delivered a beautiful ceremony capturing everyone's attention in a public space. I highly recommend Reverend Brad!!

    We can't recommend Rev. Brad enough for officiating our elopement ceremony!! He was so extremely helpful from the moment that we got in contact to even now post ceremony, answering any questions that we had- making planning a wedding from another country a breeze. He put us at ease straight away on the day and he helped us to have the most memorable wedding possible, and for that we can't thank him enough.

    Rev. Bradley Lau was the officiant for my wedding, he was excellent. He is professional, easy going and provided my fiance and I with a ceremony that suited our needs.     I found Brad online so I did not know what to expect! I was a little nervous but went with it to book him as a wedding officiant! And I did not regret ONE BIT of it! Brad was AMAZING from the moment I called him he was very professional, kept in contact with me till the date of the wedding and made sure everything was ready and set to go for my big day! The day of the wedding he arrived on time! (An hour early) during the ceremony he eased our nerves by making jokes and had our family and friends laughing, crying, and enjoying every moment of the ceremony! I felt like he knew me and my husband for years , his words of wisdom and advice topped it off!!! He is the best and I would recommend him to everyone!!!!

    I loved this man!!! Rev. Brad has been awesome throughout this whole process. After the ceremony everyone was under the impression that he knew us for a long time because he made his speech so intimate, so personal. If anything was left out, its my fault. He covered everything I asked him to and was always willing and able to answer my questions. I Would highly recommend him for his services.

    Brad was a super helpful, professional, humorous and caring officiant. He has made our ceremony so lively, so touching and so memorable not just for our guests, but extremely meaningful for both of us. He has been really considerate during the month before the wedding by patiently waiting for our response, which we submitted just two days before the wedding. Despite the real short notice, Brad was able to give a very spontaneous performance for our ceremony, making the script come alive. As the bride, I was extremely nervous about the ceremony since we did not have a chance to rehearse. However, on the day, Brad's presence has miraculously calmed me down and made me enjoy the rest of the day without any worry. Thank you Brad for making our big day so personal and so memorable.     Rev Brad made our wedding ceremony breath taking. His voice commanded the attention of the room by using a soothing tone and words that spoke from the heart. From the first day that we met with Brad to see if he was going to be the man that was going marry us he showed us that he was the man for the job by making us feel relaxed and shared some laughs with us in a coffee shop. Brad is beyond accommodating and a man of wise, loving and magical words.

    Reverend Brad was amazing! He was so flexible when we changed our ceremony time and had some great suggestions for the ceremony. Super nice guy and so down to earth. It was a civil ceremony but my husband grew up in church so Brad added in some verses from the bible for the church-goers in the crowd. The additional readings he did was so in tune with the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Everything was perfect. He also recommended us to write our own vows and I'm glad we did. It made our ceremony that extra special. Thank you Brad for performing such a beautiful, amazing ceremony at our wedding!

    Brad gave an amazing ceremony. All of our guests were in tears (even the men!). I really felt it reflected the way that my husband and I feel about marriage as an institution and also about each other. He also encouraged us to write our own vows, which was a great experience to share and opened some deep conversations between us. Brad provides excellent service at a good value, he's easy to work with and very personable and professional. What really blew us away was when he stopped in the lounge with us and gave some 1-on-2 advice afterwards about how to make a marriage work. It was a really special moment for us in the midst of a pretty crazy day. I would encourage you to hire him!

    Rev. Brad was awesome! I was searching for a vendor last minute and he was so flexible and considerate. He gave me some good pointers about the venue location and securing a permit, and was responsive leading up to the wedding. During the ceremony he was warm, funny, and most of all he was really genuine and his words really captured the overall mood and sentiment we were going for. And, he looked super sharp!!     Brad is very professional and humorous. We had a wedding that was composed of half Chinese people and Brad surprised us by saying some additional vows in Chinese towards the end. It was very nice of him to be so considerate of the audience and learned Chinese in advance. We really like him and all of our guests said nice things about him. Highly recommended!

    We had our wedding on 5/1. It was a little gloomy day but the wedding was beautiful. Brad was there a little bit earlier to fill out the document for us. He professional told us to have our camera man ready to document the signing part. He even gave us some adivces before the ceremony.
    During our ceremony, Brad did a good job to catch everyone's attention. He made us enjoy the moment of starting our new life.
    And during our cocktail hour, a lot of our guests had asked us about how we found Brad for our officiant. They loved how he hosted the wedding.
    It was remarkable night and we were really happy to choose Brad to be our officiant!

He got background information about us beforehand, he showed us the ceremony that he planned to say, and listened to our feedback about what references we wanted to omit from the 'traditional' marriage ceremonies, and he even personalized it with an awesome quote about running and partnership to reflect the fact that we had run a half marathon before the ceremony.

    Rev. Brad was great - he put together a beautiful ceremony for us. It was exactly what we wanted. When we arrived at Central Park the day of our wedding we found that (1) the site we had reserved through the parks department was under construction and (2) our photographer was running late. Rev. Brad had a great attitude about it and kept us both stress free, finding another site for us and waiting patiently for our photographer with us. He made our day very special.     I would highly recommend Rev. Brad to anyone looking for an officiant in New York City. He exceeded our expectations by far with his special touches to our ceremony. He was so very attentive during the whole process from the planning of the ceremony through the wedding day. We could not have asked for anything better!

    The Concierge at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel recommended Rev. Brad Lau and he was very responsive and flexible. He also helped us find a great location at Central Park and everything was very well done. The ceremony was about 15 minutes and was very sincere and authentic, original and touching and including some nice participation of the guests. He is very nice and very pleasant.

    I can't speak highly enough of Reverand Brad's service. He was always available before our ceremony, answering any questions we had. He called the week of our weeding for some final preparations which was appreciated.

    His words were moving and felt personal. I had people coming up to me asking me where I found him and how impressed they were with him. Thank you Reverand Brad for making our day feel extra special. Can't recommend him enough.

    Reverend Brad made our wedding day oh-so-very special. He was great about communicating with us before the event to make sure we were ready for our special day! He is an inter-faith minister, so he tailors each wedding ceremony to fit the beliefs of each couple. He read a beautiful Buddhist poem for us and his choice of group vows (for me and my wife) were perfect. We highly recommend Rev. Brad to anyone seeking out an easy-going, amiable ceremony officiant! Our friends were very happy with him, too! Thanks a lot, Brad.

    Brad was on time, well dressed and polite. When we first spoke, he was very accommodating to our needs- we had created the ceremony ourselves before we called him, but he made some great suggestions which enhanced our ceremony. It was seamless and beautiful and I would highly recommend him to anyone who asks!

    We were looking for the perfect wedding officiant and we found that in Reverend Brad!
    His words were absolutely beautiful and we received compliments from everyone in attendance. My cousin thought that Brad was a life-long friend of my groom's--that's how personal and heartfelt his ceremony was. Brad even worked with us to time the ending of the ceremony to correspond with the 12 noon ringing of bells from the bell tower adjacent to our ceremony venue. We will forever cherish the special and intimate ceremony that Brad created.

    I should add that Brad's voice projected well without amplification at our outdoor setting, and he looked very handsome and polished!

    Brad was an absolute pleasure to work with. We all met in person to make sure we were compatible and for him to get basic details (how religious we wanted it to be, how we met, etc). An ordained interfaith minister, he sent us a full script of the ceremony a couple weeks in advance of the wedding. While only a couple tweaks were needed, Brad worked them seamlessly into the ceremony.

    On the day of, Brad showed up on time and signed the license with us, then did an excellent job officiating the ceremony. He was comfortable and confident, mixing in a little humor, and talking more than anything else about the power of love, which was perfect. We received many comments about what a good job he did.

    It's not easy to officiate a wedding, but Brad made it look effortless. We'd recommend him without reservation.

    Rev Brad Lau did a wonderful job officiating our wedding on Top of the Rock. He was very professional and make us feel as ease. I could reach him at any time and he responded back to any questions very quickly. So glad we choose to have Rev Brad marry us. It was a great experience. We would recommend him very highly!!!
