We found Anita through our good friends who she married 5 years ago. Right from the start Anita’s process was straight forward, direct and very easy to keep track of. She was incredibly sweet and a had a great sense of humor which helped my now husband and I relax. She was very responsive both in texts and emails and when we had questions or if we wanted to change something for our ceremony she was on the same page as us and understood exactly what we wanted. Not only that, but since it’s Covid, our only discussions happened virtually which can be a hit or miss. When Anita came up to us prior to the ceremony the fact that we actually hadn’t met in person until that day was lost on me. This told me that her process and her experience was so solid, nothing could shake it. She was so calming and promised to help guide us if we felt lost, which she did; subtle clues, a look or a gentle hand on our arms to direct us. The ceremony was the best part! My husband and I don’t really like to be the center of attention. So, when a bee was buzzing around us or I happened to say a certain vow in a particular way, or my friend walked away as I was trying to give her my bouquet, she capitalized on the moment and brought some light-hearted humor for all to enjoy which instantly eased everyone’s nerves! After our ceremony, a majority of our guests came up to me or my husband and told us what a great presence she was and was one of the best officiants they had seen! Anita is wonderful, go ahead and book her before it’s too late!
PS - She is really good at making sure she is not in the photo for your first kiss! ;)

We had the absolute pleasure of having Anita Gordon as our wedding officiant, and we can’t recommend her highly enough! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel easy, personal, and completely stress-free.
Anita provided us with a variety of ceremony templates and a simple questionnaire that helped us tailor every part of our ceremony to reflect who we are as a couple. She calls it her “making your own sandwich” approach—letting you choose your own “bread,” “fillings,” and “toppings”—and it was the perfect analogy. Anita is Amazing!!
Working with Anita was so amazing. Once we sat down with her to meet we just knew that’s who we wanted marrying us. She is so kind hearted and has a great sense of humor. She was so helpful when it came down to creating a ceremony template and completing our marriage certificate. I don’t think it could have been an easier process for both. Day of she arrived on time and found both me and him separately to explain what was about to happen. She helped us have our dog be our ring bearer and also knew to move for the first kiss which you don’t see a lot. She has so much experience and it definitely shows. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. She definitely makes your ceremony that much more special.

Anita is kind, professional, personable and so much more!! She is very experienced and knows exactly what advice to give prior to the ceremony to make all transitions look effortless and smooth. She went above and beyond, checking in with me and my bridesmaids, the groom and groomsmen and our families. She even brought us mints before the ceremony started! Anita is a wonderful speaker. She worked with us to customize the ceremony exactly how we wanted it and gave us simple and clear instructions to apply for our marriage license. All of my family and friends loved her! Best Officiant Ever
Within the first couple minutes of chatting with anita over the phone, I knew she was the perfect fit for my husband and I! She’s the perfect combination of sentimental and funny, she’s super personable and down to earth and she made the planning part of the ceremony sooooo easy! Its easy to get so wrapped up in planning the reception, that the ceremony planning goes on the back burner. Anita made the process so seamless and we were able to customize it exactly how we wanted it. I got so many compliments on Anita from my guests. She’s the best!!!

Anita was our officiant at a non religious ceremony. The whole process was quick and easy. She gave us complete ability to customize every part of the ceremony. We had her sign a ketubah, wrote our own vows, and broke a glass at the end, Anita was easily able to accommodate both requests. We also have moderately difficult names to pronounce and she made sure she could pronounce them perfectly before the day of the ceremony. She’s very experienced and knows exactly where to stand so pictures turn out the way you want, especially for the first kiss. All in all, we can’t put into words how great the experience was. Wedding planning is stressful, booking Anita as your officiant is one decision you can make confidently while ensuring your ceremony will be in good hands.

Anita was so amazing!! My wedding planner recommended her, and during our first phone consultation, I knew she would be so perfect! She was so kind and took the time to get to know my husband and I.
The day of our wedding I was really sick, and Anita was so caring and understanding and was able to shorten our vows a bit so that I wouldn't have to stand in the heat for longer. She also even came up with a code word for us to use if I was about to pass out or get sick so that she could cut the ceremony and end it right then.
Overall, she was just incredible and I had people coming up to my after the ceremony complimenting us and asking for her information for their future weddings! I couldn't recommend her enough. :)

Anita was so welcoming, helpful, and amazing! We had an initial phone call and she was so sweet and very receptive. She also clearly and thoroughly provided all the details and options of her services without any pressure. Her forms to fill out were helpful in writing our ceremony just the way we wanted it. We came from out of town for our wedding and she was so kind to offer to help in picking up any last minute details, such as flowers/cake. Friendly, professional, and overall amazing officiant!
Anita met us out at a remote location in the Utah desert to perform an amazing ceremony! As soon as we reached out to her, it immediately felt like we were talking with an old friend. She was so easy to work with and I loved being able to work with her to create a customized ceremony that fit us perfectly. My mom still talks about how great the ceremony was and I couldn't agree more. I would recommend Anita to everyone!

Reverend Anita Gordon is an excellent choice. She provides customizable ceremony templates and gives a variety of templates for different ceremony styles, and is also great at responding. She is very good at what she does & provides detailed instructions for marriage licenses & everything related to that. Her level of organization makes it so you hardly have do anything— book her!!

Anita was so amazing to work with! I had my officiant cancel on me about 2 months before my wedding and Anita was so fast to step up and take the spot! She made the whole process of the ceremony wonderful, from helping us write our vows to changing anything we wanted to make the moment more "us". She was also a huge help in getting everyone (including myself) organized before the ceremony started.

Anita The Great!
Anita officiated our wedding last weekend and she is amazing! My husband and I are thrilled we chose her as our officiant. She is kind, funny, and easy to get along with. She's the type of person that walks in a room and just her presence makes you feel at ease, which in my opinion is exactly what you want on your wedding day! It's very apparent that she knows exactly what she is doing, and does it well! Can't forget to mention our wedding was at Lookout Cabin at Canyons Resort, requiring a chairlift ride to get to, which she didn't bat an eye at!! I will be recommending her to anyone who asks! She really cares to make your day special!
When I reached out to Rev. Anita J. Gordon I only had about a month until my wedding! She made sure to get in touch with me ASAP to make sure that everything was in order in time for the wedding day! She helped us come up with a really special ceremony that felt like it fit us so well! Our families absolutely loved her and I am so glad that she was a part of our day! Anita is a wonderful person. We got married in park city but are from Chicago. Anita made it so easy for a out of towner to get the everything we needed and have a tailored ceremony! She was wonderful to work with through the reschedules on our side due to Covid. She is such a natural in front of people and did an amazing Job with our ceremony. It ended up being 5 degrees outside for our ceremony and handled it like a champ. She is the best!!

Rev. Anita is the best!
I have planned weddings for almost 10 years, and Rev. Anita came to my rescue. We had an officiant lined up for our wedding who less than a month before couldn’t preform the ceremony anymore. Luckily for us Rev. Anita was available for the day. They way she customizes the ceremony is unlike anything else. I feel blessed to have had her be apart of our special day! She is phenomenal, and loving, and cares for each ceremony she does. You can tell her heart loves weddings, and we live Rev Anita!!

Go With Anita!!
My husband and I struggled finding someone to perform our ceremony, but as soon as we talked with Anita and saw her passion for weddings, our decision was made! She was extremely responsive and accommodating—we had to switch venues a week before our wedding, but Anita was still there for us. She spoke beautifully at our wedding and the entire ceremony went smoothly! Anita has helpful tips for everything— from the small things like where to walk and stand, what level you should hold your bouquet at, etc. all the way to the big “I do’s” :) She knows what she’s doing and she does it flawlessly! You won’t be disappointed!

Anita did such a great job . She wrote something so beautiful and so us!! She had an amazing way with words . She does a great job of not being too long winded or too short . I can’t imagine another person doing as perfect as she did. She was so light,happy, and fun. She went above and beyond to find us witnesses where is was just the two of us eloping . Memorable!
Anita performed our ceremony in December of 2020 at the St. Regis Deer Valley. As this was a destination wedding, our planner recommended Anita to officiate. If you're getting married in Utah look no further! Anita made everything about the process of planning the ceremony so easy. She provided us with many ideas allowing us to customize as much (or as little) as we wanted. We had so many guests comment on how perfect the ceremony was and we owed that all too Anita!

The planets were aligned...
We had hired an officiant months ago and assumed all was well. Yet, on the morning of the wedding, we found the need to find an alternate. Anita was ready and stepped in without any hesitation! Absolutely PERFECT!!!
We got married on Saturday, after already needing to postpone our wedding. Anita has been with us through the whole process and was so helpful and flexible with our changing schedule. She made everything so much easier, and with all of her experience, she made the ceremony so special and flawless. She is such a people person, and you can feel the warmth of her personality even over the phone. She is truly an expert and will add so much to your ceremony. Our guests raved about her all through the reception, and are still reaching out to me to say how wonderful she was. Trust me, coming from a covid bride- she will take away so much unnecessary stress from the process, and you will be able to trust that she will do all the hard stuff for you and offer guidance and support through your whole planning process. Look no further than Rev. Anita Gordon
Rev. Anita Gordon was the perfect officiant for our wedding. I could not have asked for a more beautiful individual to have performed our ceremony. Anita kept in contact with me via text and email, listened to my opinions, gave me an array of ceremonies to choose from, and allowed me to pick, choose, and personalize what I wanted her to say. She provided the groundwork and allowed me to dictate the direction. She was also extremely kind, down to earth, and patient as my toddlers did what they wanted to do during the ceremony and not what I had wanted them to do in a perfect world. When I started to stress the little things, Anita helped me to ground my feet. Sometimes, as simple of a person as you are, your mind tends to drift away and you second guess yourself and worry about everything being perfect. Whatever happens, will happen, and it will be your kind of perfect. Anita helped me to remember this. Her husband attended the ceremony with her and even took charge of our entrance, ceremony, and exit music. She really cares about your vision for your day and will honor that. Easy-going, professional, and fun
I sent Anita an email after our original plans were canceled, due to COVID-19. My fiance and I wanted to elope in Utah! After a brief phone call and a lot of reassurance from her, I knew she was the right person for the job. We had to push our elopement date out due to cases in NYS and she rolled with it. She even offered to help locate a florist and bring a witness to our very, very intimate elopement. She knew our photographer and they worked well together during the ceremony. She was fun, has a wonderful presence, and brings an element of marital bliss to the altar. It doesn't matter if your wedding is at the top of a mountain, in your car, or a big venue. She was wonderful.

We were so lucky to have Anita officiate our wedding. She was luckily available on our wedding day. The process of working with Anita was smoother than I ever dreamed. I love how simple she has made the process of selecting your wedding ceremony. My husband and I spent about an hour putting everything together after meeting with her- and it was done! I knew when I met Anita that he was the perfect fit as officiant for our wedding. Perfectly Personalized
Anita was the perfect choice to officiate our snowy winter wedding at Red Pine Lodge! She was easy to work with and provided us with just the right amount of customization for our ceremony. Anita was also super flexible and gave us some great options to shorten the ceremony when she saw our guests were snow-covered and cold! I highly recommend choosing Anita as your officiant for any type of wedding!

A Reverend With A Big Heart
Anita will make you feel like you are being married by a close family friend. The personalization and customization of the ceremony really allows you to make it your own. Anita has such a wonderful presence about her, she will keep you calm during the ceremony all the while making you and everyone else laugh. I couldn't imagine being married by anyone else.

A "Lucky" Anniversary
My husband and I were approaching our 7th wedding anniversary. We had never had an actual ceremony for one reason or another. For our 7th anniversary, I thought I would surprise him with a small, intimate outdoor wedding. Although he found out in the mean time, we still had a beautiful wedding. It was personal, unforgettable and fit who we were as individuals and as one. Anita was (and is) a beautiful soul inside and out. It takes a special person to officiate a wedding as unique as ours but she did it and it will be a wedding we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Reliable and Professional
Anita was great! She even came to our rehearsal dinner (30+ minutes away) the night before to do a quick run through of the wedding ceremony. This really helped everyone feel relaxed and confident for the wedding the next day. She always quickly responded to our emails and didn't bat an eye when we turned in our wedding ceremony template the week of the wedding, with many customizations. We highly recommend her for any Utah wedding, especially a destination wedding like ours!

A wonderful memory

Absolutely Charming and beyond professional
My wife and I had been looking for an officiator online and looked at judges, city officials, religious officials etc. and not one of them gave us that special excitement or that expectation we wanted.
It's stressful enough with all the wedding planning and everything else going ok that finding an officiator was at the top of the stress levels and first priority.
I found Anita on wedding wire and called her. I couldn't believe her response to me compared to all the others. She wanted to be objective, helpful, and excited as well.
She met us at a time best convienent for us. We met her for coffee one morning and she hit the mark big time. Gave us so many choices of what we wanted that was customized, easy, fun, and no stress at all. My wife and I actually wrote majority of our ceremony from Anita's list and Anita was in our corner.
On our wedding day Anita went beyond our expectations of making our day very special and making our ceremony absolutely perfect.
DO NOT look anywhere else because Anita is by far one of a kind. She is so professional, classy, fun, sincere, and a wonderful person. I wanted her to stay for our wedding afterwards and let her be a part of the guest list.

Best Choice I made!
Right when I got engaged I knew I wanted Anita. The day of our wedding my husband and I were both nervous and forgot everything on our timeline. Luckily Anita was there and took over! She made us both feel at ease and our guests loved her!!

Reverend Anita is a God Send!!
Reverend Anita was amazing. She made us look like "vow writing pros," and she was very accommodating to the little details of our ceremony. She helped us create an atmosphere of effortless peace and sheer love. Reverend Anita took amazing care of us from the ceremony script planning down to her filing our marriage license. We can not recommend her enough!!

Amazing wedding officiant
Anita was graceful, eloquent and witty. She arrived early to our wedding, reassured me that our wedding will go well and helped us with getting all the details correct.
Anita smoothed over all the bumps such as me stuttering a little through one of the lines. Instead of it being embarrassing, we all had a good laugh about it and it became a fun memory for us. I would definitely recommend Anita if you are looking for someone amazing to officiate your wedding.

If you wan the perfect wedding ceremony Anita is your lady!
Anita was such a sweetheart and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. She was always quick to respond to the million questions I had and always willing to help the best she could. I loved that we could make our own ceremony and personalize it to fit us. She fit right in with my family and friends and we all had a blast. You would be crazy to not hire her!

Rev. Anita Gordon did an absolutely fabulous job officiating our ceremony. She was responsive and available and made the planning part very easy, allowing us to craft the ceremony into what was most meaningful for us. On our actual day she did a fabulous job and made everyone laugh and cry with her words. She made our day so special--we loved her and our guests loved her. Awesome, couldn't have been better
Anita was just awesome! She is professional, witty, elegant, and fun. We feel so lucky to have her officiate our wedding at Red Butte Garden. Working with her is super easy. During the meeting she provided us with different versions of the readings (religious or non-religious), and even divided it up for each section, so you can literally a la carte your own readings if you would like. On the wedding day she made sure everything went well. We felt she always has our back. Thank you Anita!

Anita is the best! She was so easy to work with, very professional and VERY knowledgeable on all things wedding. We ended up asking her questions that had nothing to do with her role in the wedding and she had wonderful ideas and suggestions for us (even helped with wording on one of our bar signs!) She made us feel very secure leading up to the wedding because we knew she had everything handled. She is professional looking and sounding and everyone was really impressed. In fact, a couple at our wedding ended up hiring her for theirs! She had wonderful ceremony wording options and was extremely willing to work with our vision and create the right ceremony for us. Anita really was a rock through all the planning and on the actual day. 100% recommend her.

Anita was extraordinary
She was absolutely amazing. Kind , funny , and easy going. Communicating long distance was painless and stress free. She is very good at what she does. It was nice to have a guide and be able to pick our ceremony wordings. She even helped my husband when he was nervous about going in front of a crowd. Highly highly recommend. New Best Friend
So, Anita isn't really my new best friend. I can tell you after meeting her for the first time that I wanted her to be. She was GREAT. My fiance and I had no idea what we were doing, and she helped us along every step of the way. She made she we got the ceremony we wanted, and she didn't try to put us into some pre-planned mold. She has natural southern charm. I wouldn't have wanted anyone other than Anita to officiate our wedding.

Absolutely wonderful in every way!
Anita is absolutely amazing. I don’t use that word lightly because (having gone through the process recently) I know how stressful planning a wedding is and how much pressure there is to make sure every piece of the puzzle comes together flawlessly on the day. Anita not only handled the ceremony planning, timing and wording- she helped us with the procession (who should walk when and where) and on top of that she answered all my questions that had nothing to do with the ceremony (bar signage, amount on bar etc.). She reiterated that we had nothing to worry about on the day but to get married and she would handle the rest. She became something of a wedding planner/coordinator and did it with a smile on her face and such a wonderful, loving attitude. She did such a fantastic job that a couple at our wedding decided to use her for their wedding which was a few months after ours.

Anita is hands down The best person to officiate your wedding. She made the day of as well as the pre-wedding stuff go so smooth. She is such a funny, and sweet lady who knows her stuff! Book her and you will have peace of mind on your big day.
