We hired Reston Limo for shuttle services for our wedding. During the booking process they were very responsive and even flexible when we had a change a month out of the wedding where we had added an additional stop at the end of the night (basically a 2 minute drive to drop off the bridal party at an airbnb by the venue). This was all confirmed and payment was made accordingly.
However, the night of the wedding as we were boarding the bus, the bus driver said he was not stopping at the airbnb. After 10-15 minutes of back and forth and my amazing coordinator who had to make some calls- the bus driver agreed to drop us off. Post wedding when I raised this issue to the company they went silent. I wanted to understand what caused this confusion and I never heard back from them, which really left a bitter taste showing that they are only responsive until the payment goes through and didn't really care about customer service after. -

Love this transportation company! Their pricing is fair and inclusive of driver gratuity- one less thing to worry about on event day. We had a last minute add-on- a car to pickup the groom and I post reception, and they were able to easily accommodate. The driver for our shuttle, Christian, was fun, engaging, and fully aware and respectful of the added needs of driving a wedding party. Overall, a fabulous experience.Reston Limousine's reply:

We used Reston Limousine to transport our guests for our 5/6/22 wedding. We booked 2 55-person coach buses to transport our guests from our two block hotels in Reston (Hyatt Regency and Westin) to our wedding venue in Leesburg. I'm giving 2 starts because working with this company to plan and book services was a great experience and my contact Sam made sure everything was set correctly. One bus was supposed to stop at the Hyatt Regency (where the majority of our guests were staying) to pick guests up and take them straight to Leesburg. The other bus was supposed to stop at the Westin to pick up a few guests, then stop at the Hyatt to pick up the remaining guests before heading to Leesburg.
However, what was planned out did not happen in execution. When the first bus that came to the Hyatt filled up, the bus driver told everyone that the bus was full but did not mention that there was another bus expected to come. Because of this, about half of our guests ended up driving themselves or ordering an Uber/Lyft to get to the venue. This resulted in the second bus picking up only 10 people at the Westin, then waiting at the Hyatt for 20 minutes for the remaining guests that had already found their own ride to the venue. This cascaded into our ceremony starting late while we waited for the second bus. All of this could have been avoided if the drivers had been communicated with properly.
At the end of the night, I was also told that one bus driver refused to stop at both hotels and proceeded to get into a screaming match with the other bus driver over it...
Overall, I would use caution when booking with Reston Limousine...or at least, ensure that they will properly communicate with the drivers to ensure things go according to plan. We are disappointed that we ended up spending over $2k on services that ended up leaving many our guests hanging.Reston Limousine's reply:

Wow! Stellar experience!
Reston Limousine provided our wedding party, family and guest transportation for our 9/4/2021 wedding. We were BLOWN AWAY by the customer service that we received leading up to the event as well as day-of service. The Reston Limo team delivered exactly what was promised and kept the 3 shuttles on schedule, which was very important for us as we had a tight shuttle window and several additional complexities with pick-up and drop-offs. The shuttles were unbelievably clean, incredibly comfortable and all 3 drivers were professional, kind and FUN! We even received many compliments from our guests. Thank you for making our big day run smoothly and for taking care of our guests as if they were your own. 10/10 recommend to all engaged couples.Reston Limousine's reply:

Because of the needs of a large bridal party, we utilized 3 different vehicles the day of the ceremony and reception. Making the arrangements were seamless. Drivers were timely, polite, and demonstrated great pride in their work. Text messages with updates, kept the bride's father in the know and calm.Reston Limousine's reply:

I initially hired Reston Limousine from my past experience with them (from work-related shuttles) and the amazing reviews from Wedding Wire. Upon immediate discussions with the account manager, I was sold and wanted to hire them on the spot. He was professional and responsive. We had 3 trips booked for my wedding weekend in Washington, DC, which covered a Friday rehearsal and Saturday reception. The account manager and I touched based a handful of times leading up to the weekend.
This review is more written to hopefully provide helpful feedback to Reston Limousine in hopes of making future improvements. To preface, I understand things don’t always go perfectly and there are circumstances out of anyone’s control. However, I believe certain happenings I experienced could have been improved and/or avoided with more honest communications, more accountability (from the account manager and the drivers) and punctuality with planning.
For our Friday shuttle, we had a scheduled pickup time at 6:00 to make it to our 6:30 dinner. The driver was 30 minutes late, but the most frustrating part was we had gotten notifications via email and phone calls that the driver was 1) already at the pickup spot on time, which wasn’t true 2) just behind the pickup spot in the back entrance so had to come around front, which also wasn’t true 3) was several miles out so only 5 min away, which wasn’t true 4) stuck in traffic and ultimately 30 min away, which was true. Mind you, this is during rush hour on a Friday, but we had a really difficult time trying to get a firm story on where our driver was and what his ETA was. The 24/7 dispatch had a different story from the account manager, which were all different from the actual driver. This was incredibly frustrating, with a party of 30 shuttling to dinner. About 4 of us were making several phone calls trying to figure out where the driver actually was, and 1/4 of the group ended up taking Ubers to make it to the dinner location so we could greet guests. I’d like to highlight though that when the driver met us, he was sincerely apologetic, which I appreciated. However, I would’ve liked a better understanding of why he was so late, and if it truly was traffic, how a limousine service isn’t always well-prepared to budget times against traffic and provide fair warnings to their customers.
The 2nd trip on Saturday was also slightly late, but my feedback is more on the driver. He had to drop us off about 2 blocks from the pickup location, and it took approx. 20 min because he had clicked on a link to take him to “Washington, DC,” instead of the actual church address. Several of us kept telling him he was going the wrong way, as he was truly going towards the center of the city, away from the actual destination, and he rudely blew us off saying he had the right address - which he technically didn’t. My now-husband, not knowing this had all happened, also said that when that driver went back to the pickup spot to make a second round, he fervently waved at the next group as if they were the reason why he was behind schedule; that’s pretty comical.
The 3rd trip was led by Sylvia - a lovely lady who was extremely punctual, attentive, considerate, and accommodating. I would hire her over and over again if I could! We all loved her and thought she was the best experience of all 3 rides.
I provided email feedback to the account manager immediately after the first ride incident this and I still have not gotten a response (the feedback didn’t warrant one). My hope is this review is honest, fair and informative; the company needs to take feedback (good and bad) as a growing opportunity for accountability and ensure they are continuously improving.Reston Limousine's reply:

Reston Limo was a standup vendor from the initial visit to the end of our wedding day. Their driver was professional yet had a tasteful sense of humor! Our experience was perfect and the value was there as well.
