We had ROM provide our live music for our whole wedding at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. From ceremony, emcee at reception, all the way to an incredible 8 piece band and after party DJ. Every single guest commented how much FUN they made the night!! Weeks later and guests are still reaching out to say how incredible the band was! The main POC, Tiana is incredibly fun and so easy to work with! They really take every little ask into consideration and customize to fit whatever style wedding you're looking to have. We felt they perfectly understood the energy level we requested and type of music. We had the absolute best night of our lives thanks to them! If live music is something you're looking for, you MUST book ROM!!! -

We cannot say enough amazing things about this band — they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. They were so responsive throughout the entire process, open to our ideas, and completely willing to accommodate special requests. It truly felt like they cared as much about our day as we did!
On the night of our wedding, they brought the most electric energy, flawless vocals, and incredible production. We’ve been to so many weddings over the years, and they were by far the best band we’ve ever seen (and we’re not just being biased!). Our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was and how much fun they had on the dance floor.
Their professionalism, talent, and genuine enthusiasm were unmatched — they made everything feel seamless and so personal. If you’re even considering them, just book them. You will not regret it! We’re already trying to think of another event just to have them perform again. -

Hiring The Republic of Music band was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the first note to the final encore, they absolutely blew us (and our guests) away. The talent, professionalism, and charisma they brought to the stage created the kind of atmosphere you dream about—pure magic.
They didn’t just play music—they read the room, elevated the energy, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Whether it was heartfelt ballads during our first dance or high-energy hits that had our parents grooving with the bridal party, the vibe was perfect from beginning to end.
Every member of the band was incredibly talented, and their sound was flawless—like hearing your favorite songs for the first time again. Their transitions were seamless, their setlist was thoughtfully curated, and they even learned a special song just for us. It meant the world.

We searched high and low for a band to blow the roof off our wedding venue, and while many had flashy websites and intake forms, none had the depth and soul we were looking for—until we found Tiana and Republic of Music!
Their pricing is spot on, exactly what you'd expect for a group this talented, organized, warm, energetic, and truly AMAZING. We were able to customize our entire evening—starting with a trio during cocktail hour, beautiful singing during dinner, and then they absolutely brought the house down for the main reception! RoM handled special announcements seamlessly, and Tiana even sang a Beatles song for one of our dads’ birthdays. They were so accommodating, and the energy and flow of the evening was incredible—high-energy, interactive, and perfect! Almost everyone was on the dance floor, even those who 'don’t dance' (GASP!). RoM kept the dance floor packed all night long!
Tiana was incredibly attentive, and the vocals... OMG! She casually belted out Whitney Houston’s 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody,' and we were literally bowing down to her with our glow sticks! Her voice is absolutely incredible, and the male vocalist was equally as impressive. Every glowing review they have is a testament to their commitment to making your day unforgettable. You and your guests will be talking about them forever!

At our wedding, Republic of Music owned the stage with a perfect blend of old and new hits that got a groovy booty from every generation to the dance floor. Their engaging performance—complete with props and interactive elements—ensured all our guests felt part of the celebration, and their outstanding sound quality truly set the atmosphere. The highlight? They invited my wife and I onstage to close out the night, making for an unforgettable experience.
We also appreciated the comprehensive planning process involving us, Tiana, and the band. This collaborative effort allowed my wife and I to customize the experience fully—from selecting musicians and band members to incorporating our playlists and song requests. This ensured the band perfectly captured the vibe we envisioned for our wedding.
Following the celebration, many guests approached us to share that our wedding was "God Tier" and "the BEST wedding they had ever attended," accolades that speak volumes of the impact Republic of Music had on our special day.

Best Night and Wedding Ever!
An absolute 11/10 knock out time working with this band. Truly the most incredible time. I keep using the words “they were perfect” and even those words don’t do them justice. Every single guest came up to me or texted me after saying it was the best time and the band was the best they’ve ever seen.
From the start of working with them, they were so calm, cool, and collected which made me so confident in them being so great. I had a million questions and was a nervous wreck on choosing a band because that was such a center point of our wedding. We wanted a party and they brought it!! When I had my consultation call with Tiana, she asked me if I had a specific genre or songs I wanted them to play. I told her to read the crowd and play whatever she wants. I am so happy I did this, because every song was spot on. One of my biggest concerns was people not dancing and wow we had a packed dance floor the entire time. My husband NEVER dances, and he was on the dance floor the entire night having the best time.
The band understood how to keep everyone engaged and pulled out different fun “activities” like handing out blow up fake guitars for everyone to rock out to. It was soo much fun. The band even got word towards the end of the night that I wanted to get on stage and sing along to close out the night. They helped me get on stage and have the best night of my life. It was truly a dream come true, they were spot on with everything, sounded incredible and I would recommend them to literally everyone and anyone! The best day/night of my life thanks to this band!! 🫶🏼 -

This band is fantastic! Our guests were dancing from start to finish and the dance floor was packed almost the entire evening. Republic of Music was so easy to work with and they are so flexible in the genre of music that you request. For our wedding, there were two vocalists (female and male), saxophonist (well work the extra for him), guitar, base, keyboard and drums. Our guests have repeatedly said that this was the most fun they had ever had at any wedding. Our guests spanned all ages and everyone was up on the dance floor. We cannot say enough good things about the Republic of Music and we would recommend them without hesitation. -

Republic of Music is hands down the best band! They are extremely talented musicians and know what they're doing when it comes to music at events. We hired them for our wedding on NYE and it was truly the best decision ever! The dance floor was always packed, they interacted with the guests, and they sounded absolutely incredible. We also had them do our Ceremony music and it was absolutely incredible. They brought our vision to life and it's something we will NEVER forget. Republic of music really got the party going. All of our guests were dancing right after our first dance and well into the night. Even my uncle Jim who is in his 80s. What’s more they integrated seamlessly with our venue and other vendors. Cherry on top they were able to provide a DJ for the last hour and a half of our ceremony to play our favorite house hits after the live band segment concluded. Sprinkles they let the groom perform with the band! They really made our wedding.

Republic of Music was the Highlight of Our Reception
Republic of Music absolutely blew us away! We decided to do the 8-piece band at our wedding on Coronado and truly think choosing ROM for our entertainment made all the difference for us and our guests. Everyone who attended will not stop talking about how much fun they had dancing all night! We had two calls with Tiana to cover the vibe of our wedding and she also sent us a helpful worksheet to fill out with song list ideas, which really allowed us to figure out the flow of our day. Every single band member was SO talented and engaged with the crowd perfectly. One of the highlights of my husband's night was stage diving into the crowd, we all could not stop smiling! If we could change anything, it would be extending our venue hours so we could dance and enjoy the band longer! We can not recommend Republic of Music enough, they were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! -

Short and sweet summary: Republic of Music’s incredible talent elevated the wedding day to another level of memorable and special, and their planning skills made the day feel seamless.
Longer version: We decided to make the investment in a live band because we really wanted our guests to be dancing and enjoying themselves during our daytime wedding. ROM’s musicians came recommended by both our day-of coordinator (Melissa Tuvey-Barrad) and several venues we looked at. What also impressed us about Tiana and her team was how great they sounded in their videos across a wide variety of musical styles, and also simply how many promo videos they had posted on their website. We had complete confidence that we knew what we were signing up for.
The organization skills of ROM were also impressive. Filling out their 31-page wedding worksheet (Example questions – what song will you walk in to? Will we announce your parents’ names during it? Will they be walking in or at their seats?) gave me a lot of confidence that everything was going to run smoothly, because a group of professional and fun humans were going to be following what we’d discussed.
The day of the wedding turned into concert-dance party, and I as the bride had a total blast. They had 90% of our guests dancing on their opening Enrique Iglesias number, which then looped into a Stevie Wonder song, and people loved it. And they especially killed it with the classic rock song my Dad and I had requested for our dance that wasn’t in their standard playlist. The artists’ incredible musicianship nailed the guitar and keyboard solos to the level of any recording, which will definitely go down as one of my top three memories of day. The compliments from guests are still coming in – they were a joy!

I couldn't have asked for a better band! I planned my wedding in under 4 months and because of the pandemic, I lucked out that Republic of Music was even available. I hadn't seen them perform live before, but I reviewed their music on Instagram and could tell they were talented. With that being said, their talent far exceeded any expectations I had. They knocked it out of the park and all the guests could talk about was how amazing they were. If you are deciding between another band and ROM, pick ROM! It was MORE than worth it and I will have so many memories to look back on on the dance floor thanks to them because they kept everyone dancing and entertained. I was truly amazed by them! -

We just got married on November 6, 2021 and hired Republic of Music as our wedding band! We LOVED them!
They made the process so easy! Once we hired them, they sent us a wedding worksheet to fill out that went over everything from Grand Entrance order to lighting to songs to play, songs not to play, what we would like the band to wear, cocktail hour music, etc. Then, we had the pleasure to meet with Tiana who walked us through the worksheet, answered all our questions and made us feel so confident that the night was going to be amazing. She was so professional and reassuring the whole time. She even helped us find a white stage skirt to rent to ensure we would have the look that we were going for and was accommodating with the size stage that would fit in our room.
On the day of the wedding, they were the stars of the show! They emceed the whole night beautifully and they knew exactly what to do to get our guests out on the dance floor (which wasn't the easiest since we had a good amount of older people!) Every single person that hugged me goodbye was raving about this band!
If you are debating whether to get a live band or a DJ, I'd say splurge and get the live band! THIS live band! They blew us away and made our night unforgettable!

Best. Wedding. Band. Ever.
When my husband and I first started dating, one of the main interests that brought us together was our shared love of music. So, five years later when we got engaged, we knew that booking a live band for our wedding was a must.
Approximately three minutes into browsing bands on The Knot, we found RoM and couldn't imagine finding a better band to perform at our wedding--their live performance videos and extensive song list options had us instantly hooked. We messaged them for a quote and Tiana, the LadyBoss Rockstar herself, reached out to us the very next day.
Honestly, there aren't enough words to describe how wonderful she was to work with. Tiana is not only incredibly kind with a great sense of humor, she's also extremely thorough and determined to do everything within her power to make sure your wedding vision comes to life. She even took it upon herself to work directly with our venue regarding their no amplified music policy which was a HUGE weight off my shoulders.
Overall, hiring RoM was easily the best decision we could’ve made. The cello + keyboard duo we selected for the ceremony had our guests in tears and the band + DJ knew exactly how to keep the dance floor packed the entire night. To this day, our friends and family still rave about how amazing the band was and it’s because of them that we had the absolute best day of our lives. So, if you’re looking for an engaging, versatile and incredibly gifted group of musicians to help create the most memorable day of your life, you must, must, unquestionably MUST hire RoM. Trust me, you won’t regret it. -

The center piece of our wedding was the BAND. RoM was our live music for the Ceremony (electric violin), 3 piece during the Cocktail Hour 90 minutes, a 9-piece band with 5 vocalists I hand picked for the 4 hour Reception, and then DJ+3 piece for the After Party. Every part of the experience was worth every penny, and I would rate them with all the stars in the sky if I could.
I had narrowed down my choice to 3 SD based bands before going with RoM, I could not beat RoM in terms of unique voices/styles in just about every song we picked. The buck stops with Tiana with all the finer details! I had picked every musician, and I picked every song for each of the events! They even learned BTS - Dynamite for us when it wasn’t already in their repertoire.
I had a swim entrance into the alter, and we had a Uni bar and coconuts at the cocktail hour and I sang for my wife during our first dance, but RoM was the one thing that all the guests remembered! I am beyond happy with my choice.
RoM kept the energy flowing the entire afternoon and night, they got the crowd engaged in different ways, group dance, limbo line, with fun props etc. Even as detail oriented as I am, I trusted the RoM team once I saw them read and go with the crowd. They also worked with us on two guest musical performances.
Now on the sound, I personally treated this as a concert, they worked with my photo/video team and gave them digital recording of the whole performance straight from the soundboard with no loss in quality. Who needs a play list when I can just play the entire performance over again!
DJ Simple was a super awesome DJ for that late night after party! And He even personally manned the Photo Booth and got the guests in the mood for fun takes! RoM was really a 1 stop shop for wedding entertainment. -

WOW! What a party! Republic of Music was such a hit at our wedding! From the beautiful ceremony music, to the cocktail hour, and the dinner and reception party, the band was such a hit! I am still getting compliments on their performances.
I first found Republic of Music at an industry event and I was so impressed that I went to introduce myself to find out more information for my wedding. We really wanted a live band to create the ultimate wedding experience, but were working within a strict budget. However, after discussing our needs and what we envisioned, we were able to come to an agreement. We are beyond excited to have them. Then, we had to postpone our wedding not once, but twice due to COVID-19. Tiana and her team worked with us on new dates and were so accommodating. We definitely didn’t want to lose them!
The planning process of choosing music was definitely overwhelming, but their questionnaire was very helpful and deciding what we wanted to include. Then, we had a phone meeting to discuss where all my questions were answered & was so impressed with Tiana. She set any nerves I had at ease and I completely trusted her. We ended up having a guitarist and vocalist for our ceremony with a mix of live and recorded music, recorded music for our cocktail hour and 6-piece band for our dinner reception. AMAZING would be an understatement. It was absolutely perfect in every way and wish I had them even longer!
The ceremony was dreamy and whimsical which is exactly what I was hoping for. I started crying before I even walked down the aisle because what I heard was so beautiful. When it was my turn to walk down the aisle, Tiana’s rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was so romantic. It gave me all the tingly feels inside and I started crying again. It was the perfect moment.
One of my other favorite moments of the day was during cocktail hour – the band was warming up in the reception space and my new husband and I got to dance and twirl around just the two of us. It is a memory I will cherish always.
All the songs they performed were beautiful – Can’t Help Falling in Love was my obvious favorite, but they also learned a brand-new song for my father/daughter dance (The Man Who Loves You the Most – Zac Brown Band). It was magical and my dad cried so much. He loved it!
The only downside was that we had a medical emergency during dinner which halted the party and got us behind schedule quite a bit, however, Republic of Music for the win and the true MVP! You wouldn’t have known that our dance party was reduced because they read the room and knew we had to cram as much fun as possible into a short time period. They got EVERYONE on the dancefloor and hyped everyone back up. It was a true party! Their energy, crowd engagement, and talent are the best out there!
They also remembered that my husbands one wedding request was to get everyone dancing to “SHOUT!” as it is his favorite wedding number. Well, they upped their game even more. Not only was the entire crowd singing and dancing, they got us both on stage to have fun AND have a bride & groom crowd surfing experience. It was so much fun! We honestly cannot say enough great things about Republic of Music. We will be recommending them for all special events and hope to have them play for us again in the near future!

The band your guests will keep raving about months after the wedding
In my mind there was literally no other option for our wedding band than RoM. I am a singer myself, and have performed with RoM many times over the past 5 or 6 years. And I think that says something - through all of my many, many experiences with this incredible band family, they have done nothing but ABSOLUTELY CRUSH EVERY EVENT, EVERY TIME!! And my wedding was no exception!! They went above and beyond to learn new songs for our father/daughter mother/son dances, and they accompanied my Dad and brother (also musicians) who jumped up on stage to play our first dance song.
Each RoM musician is extremely talented in their own unique way, so put together, they are phenomenal.
Tiana = master MC (can rally a crowd in the most loving, sincere way), also has an incredible voice and attention to detail!
Rick = SHREDS the guitar and keys like no other Kori = his rich and powerful vocals will stop you in your tracks. Truly unbelievable.
Ivory Black = can literally sing anything perfectly, but her cover of Led Zeppelin is on another level (my guests were FLOORED)
David is the best keyboardist I've ever worked with, Coop schlaps that bass, Noah murders the drums, I could literally go on and on about these top-notch musicians.And not only are they musically talented, but their energy kept my guests jumping the entire night. When they were playing, the dance floor was packed, which was one of the main reasons I went with RoM.
Our venue was a fairytale garden, our dessert bar was overflowing with donuts and brownies, and yet the main thing our guests gushed about for weeks after the wedding was the fantastic band.
If you've been to weddings with and without a live band, you know the energy a live band brings to an event is unmatched. I've never performed with, or witnessed a band with better energy, crowd engagement, and talent. Do yourself a favor and hire RoM, as a bunch of their other reviews have already stated: YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. -

This band is phenomenal! They played/emcee'd for my daughter's wedding on 9/21/2019, and our guests did not want to leave the dance floor. Tiana, Cory and Ali are amazing vocalists and can sing just about anything ! We would have continued dancing into the early hours if not for the venue needing to close down. My husband was assigned the task of figuring out the music/entertainment for our wedding. We had first discussed hiring a DJ who'd play top 40's and some old school hiphop and RnB (my favorite type of music) at the beginning of the night, then at the end of the night we’d close with a live latin band since we love dancing cumbia, bachata, reggaeton, etc. Never would I have thought my husband would present me with a 9-piece band who would provide us with bilingual MC'ing, cocktail hour DJ service, and amazing music and vocals throughout the evening that covered my desire for top 40's, hiphop and RnB, and our passion for latin music. I was hesitant at first because I wanted certain pre-recorded songs played and wasn’t so sure how live covers of some songs would sound like, but upon our first phone consult with Tiana, I felt reassured and confident in what ROM was able to provide for us because of Tiana’s professionalism, personability, transparency, and knowledge and wisdom from working many weddings. She even invited us to crash one of their performances so that I could have a chance to feel them out and meet them in person before deciding to hire them. From the get-go, we had open communication, very detailed instructions, advice, and feedback which made planning our reception so effortless. Tiana listened to what we wanted and worked closely with us. She was patient and encouraging and helped keep us on track when we said we wanted to create our own first dance song. She accepted our last minute request for a live rendition of my father-daughter dance song choice, and it was beautiful and memorable. ROM also took care of our reception timeline for us, which helped me and my wedding coordinator out incredibly. ROM did it all. Not only were we impressed, but our guests left singing and dancing, not wanting the night to end. We definitely wanted to get all our guests out on the dancefloor with us, and ROM did it despite having the challenge of getting my husband's family from Mexico, my family from the Philippines, and our friends from all over the US, young and old, up to dance. They knew what our crowd wanted. Hiring ROM was definitely the right decision and worth every penny. It really should be our friends and family writing this review because they were the ones saying how ROM made the wedding celebration extra spectacular! When you put your trust in ROM, they will deliver an evening that will leave your guests with great memories of dancing the night away with you. -

G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time)!!!
Tiana and the R.O.M. team went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true! I first reached out to Tiana in January of this year thinking there was no chance they would have my wedding weekend open as I was getting married in October of the same year. With a heart full of high hopes I called, and to my (and her supprise) they still had that weekend open!!!! Tiana took call from myself and my mother over the next week and walked us through options, packages, and song selections. She was warm, fun, spunky and helped me get to the heart of what we invisioned for our wedding (big time dance party). Including, taking into account my request for no "grinding music" lol ( I really was not mentally prepared to see my 95 year old grandma "get low." Tiana just chuckled and knew exactly what we meant/ what we were looking for! We had a 190 person wedding with a mix of ages ranging from 3 months to 90+ as well as an expectation to deliver on some Italian favorites!!! Oh boy did they!!! My guests were not able to contain themselves during our 5 course meal and to our delight danced and grooved to their favorite tunes even before the dance floor was officially open!!! My favorite part of any wedding is of course the dancing/ music. I soo apreciated R.O.M.'s ability to put my guests at ease to just feel the music and dance whenever they felt called. After, dinner they picked up the beat and really started to jam!!! They kept the energy up, dance floor packed and guests entertained. We invited a lively crew and instructed the band to not hold back on guest participation. They taught us sweet dance moves to "rollin on the river" and even conspired with my mother on an epic flash mob. ( I am still shocked my mom was able to keep a secrete from me). The R.O.M. team was so engaging and truly kept our guests happy and entertained. It allowed me to be where I wanted to be the whole night on the dance floor surrounded by family and friends. I loved that they were not afraid to come down into the crowd and at the end even pulled us up on stage for the final number! Nothing will ever beat crowd surfing as our "grand exit" I cannot get over how well they read the crowd, encouraged silliness, and helped us throw the party of our lives. They are worth every penny!!! Tiana and the team we want to send the biggest THANK YOU ever!!! We love you all soo much and will have to make a special trip down to San Diego to catch a show we we can relive the magic!!! -

In my opinion, your band and photographer are the two most important decisions you make for your wedding day! I was very thorough when researching for a band and ultimately chose ROM due to reviews and feedback received from my other vendors. Tiana and ROM exceeded our expectations from start to finish. When we selected ROM, Emily & Tiana helped us customize our day from songs, to lighting, to cocktail hour musicians, to wardrobe for the band, order of reception, MC details, etc.... and made great suggestions and were very organized in leading us through the process which made it stress-free for me as the planner/bride! I immediately clicked with Tiana and her team as passion for what they do exudes from each and every one of them! Our reception was off the charts fun! I credit this to ROM because there was not a person sitting during our reception. They had everyone on the dance floor, young and old and my guests have not stopped raving about our AMAZING band selection and how they've never been to a wedding that felt like a concert performance! I will forever be thankful for my decision in selecting ROM as they made our wedding even that much more magical and I CANNOT say ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THEM!!! They all will forever hold a special place in our hearts for the memorable fun and musical talent they gifted us with on our wedding day! Thank you so much for everything Republic of Music!

Justin Sent on 03/01/2018Book them now! I am not sure what to say other than they rock! Tiana and team were incredible through the entire process and they literally made our wedding amazing. We had over 300 people at our wedding and I think every single person there asked us what the bands name was and told us how amazing they were. Our wedding was in October 2017 and I am still having people tell me how amazing the band was and I absolutely agree. My wife and I kept making changes up until a week before the wedding and Tiana rolled with it seamlessly and blew our expectations out of the water and put on an incredible performance, both for our ceremony and reception as well as cocktail hour. Also, my wife and I were really bad about giving them any direction as far as where and when to set up and Tiana took the reigns and got it done! The band had a 30ft x 30ft dance floor filled the ENTIRE night and I saw people dancing that have never danced before in their life. If you are worried about having multiple genres of music, stop worrying. We had every genre possible from country to pop to 50's to rock and they were incredible at each and every genre. I honestly cannot say enough, they are incredible. Tiana was able to make suggestions for songs for specific activities such as the garter retrieval and toss and just made the whole process easier for us. She was even able to convince us to crowd surf during the last song of the night and it was EPIC.

Sheryl Sent on 10/22/2017We had a short period of time to put together a wedding. The Republic of Music, led by Tiana, made the event! Tiana gave us recommendations on the entire timeline, then held our hands as we made all of our choices. At the event, Tiana was our emcee and the band was AMAZING!! Great singers, incredibly huge song list, wonderful musicians and fantastic energy! Everyone had the BEST time! I highly recommend ROM for your events!
