They helped me say yes to my dress!

I had the best experience at Renee Austin Wedding salon! I went to the salon in June 2024 to look for a dress for my May 2025 wedding. My mom and sister joined the appointment. Mia, my stylist, had the sweetest, kindest, and most calming disposition. She immediately set me at ease. She respected my budget and my asks. She listened to me, but also emboldened me. With her professional and experienced hand, I was able to try on a number of different dresses. When the top 2 emerged, she was so sweet and patient, letting me swap between them, see them in different light, style them, etc. Then, when I said yes, she celebrated right along with us! She was simply the best and made the entire experience so special! Her and the team then walked us through sizing and ordering, also making what could be a stressful experience incredibly seamless. My dress arrived in late September 2024. I was so worried because I had missed the original email saying it was there and hadn't confirmed my pickup. Additionally, I live about 2.5 hours away from the salon and couldn't just swing by. Mia and the team were so kind about the entire situation, helping me find a solution that worked to pick up my dress. When I did made it back to the salon I got to see Mia again. And she made me feel just as excited to pick up my dress as I was to pick it out! I would highly recommend checking out Renee Austin Wedding! They had a wonderful selection of dresses with varying styles and price points. They were easy to communicate with, a breeze to work with, and made the entire experience fun!

I had the best experience at Renee Austin! My bridal consultant Paige was absolutely fantastic! She was such a pro and made the experience exceptional! She was able to listen to my style and picked dresses that matched this perfectly! So happy I came to Renee Austin and would highly recommend!

Renee Austin: Wedding Dress & Veil

I cannot day enough positive things about Renee Austin and Eliza. Not only did she help me find the absolute perfect dress, she made me feel incredibly comfortable. From Day 1 she listened to me so well, based on listening to my likes and dislikes she found my dress for me and I would’ve never found it myself!! Plus the store itself is adorable and all the staff and very very friendly! 100% recommend!

Eliza is Amazing!

The stylist I worked with was Eliza and let me just tell you she was amazing! I had gone online and found dresses I liked based on the vendors they sell and showed her photos. She pulled all of the dresses I liked and then when I started to tell her exactly what I did and did not like about the dresses she pulled ones that matched what I wanted. I told her my budget right away and she made sure not to bring any dresses outside of my budget. She was truly incredible to work with and she wasn't just trying to make a sale. She made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I wanted. I ended up finding my dress and also doing alterations through who they recommend as well once the dress came in. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Highly recommend

I had in mind the style I wanted when I walked in, but the dress Mia pulled for me was a DREAM! I couldn’t believe she picked that based on my vision. She was truly amazing!! She stayed in my price range and was great with helping me during the whole process. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured. She continuously asked how I was feeling and what I was thinking. The salon itself is cute and small. It had a very wide selection of dresses. I would highly recommend this bridal salon to everyone. I cannot wait to get married in my dress!!

My perfect dress!

This was my second stop while finding my dress. It is a smaller shop but they do not limit the dresses to your size. At other larger shops they only kept me in my size but the staff here found my dress 5 sizes larger that my usual. Unfortunately, my dress was ordered too small, but they fixed it by allowing me to use their seamstress and have it taken out for free! Astounding service and imaginative. Go here for amazing service!

I was helped by Mia while searching for a wedding dress and she was able to bring me options I loved that I would have never picked myself. It was such a fun and relaxing experience compared to other wedding dress shops I had been too. And they were very personal. I loved the thank you card they sent me in the mail, it made me even happier that I had bought my dress from them. I would highly recommend looking for your wedding gown at renee austin

Very friendly and helpful

I found the perfect bridal dress here and also bought all my bridal party dresses. The dress was fitted perfectly. Only issue was after several calls, they could not get a swatch in for me so I could match things to the bridal party. They said that sometime Jasmine isn’t responsive about those things and it’s out of their control. They cut a piece of fabric from their own swatch to give me.

They recommended a seamstress who was great to work with, but I was very upset with the results because she stitched through my dress to make the bustle and the dimples from it were noticeable. She isn’t part of the bridal shop, so I won’t base my rating on the seamstress.

Outstanding Service and Gorgeous Dresses

The staff at Renee Austin were incredible. So attentive, thoughtful, and respectful of wishes/budget. Not only is my wedding dress the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, I had such a fun time shopping here. Ask for Eliza - she's the sweetest!

So glad I stumbled across this bridal shop

I feel so fortunate to have found Renee Austin Wedding. After feeling completely defeated trying on dresses at other stores, my mom, sister and I stumbled upon this amazing bridal shop near the end of a tiresome dress shopping excursion. We walked in not knowing how amazing every single dress they have would be. This was the first store we visited where I felt that the gowns were actually couture, and even though they have items to fit a range of budgets, everything feels and looks expensive.

I was excited just to see the beautiful dresses they had in stock, but even more elated to find out they actually have sample sizes for thick women. I honestly could have left with three equally perfect gowns. They were also the only place I could find that had separates, which I think are the best invention in bridal dress history.

At the end of the day, I can't say enough good things about Renee Austin Wedding. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and are fantastic at finding what will fit your vision and your body. I even went back for a pair of their fabulous shoes

Amazing Staff, great service!

The staff at this store is so amazing to work with. They don't make you feel rushed or pressured in anyway. The first day I went in I had an amazing associate help me, which made me decide to go back with my bridesmaids for their dresses. And back again to buy my veil and accessories. The ladies here are genuinely amazing people and they want to help you and work with your budget!

Amazing through and through

Thank you so much for helping me find my dream wedding dress! I came into the wedding planning process with a picture in my head of what my dream wedding dress was, but had a hard time explaining what I had imagined. Mia understood exactly what I was picturing and helped me find the most gorgeous gown and veil for the best day of my life! I felt like such a Bohemian goddess in my Willowby Doyle gown and it would not have been possible without Renee Austin helping me find the dress of my dreams. It was so perfect for our Michigan Up North outdoor ceremony and reception. I felt the most confident and beautiful that I have ever felt, exactly what I had hoped marrying my best friend and love of my life! So thankful for Renee Austin

I had the best time at Renee Austin. After visiting several bridal boutiques in the area, I was frustrated and emotional. I could not find my dress. Renee Austin changed everything for me. The staff was so kind and helpful, and I felt at home immediately. After an hour of attempts...my assistant hit the nail on the head with a random idea (added an overskirt and belt to a fit and flare). From there on out it was over....I could not have been more happy with my dress and the service I received at Renee Austin. I highly recommend them for any bride!!!

Janna did such an amazing job- she was so accommodating to me and my family. She helped me find the absolute perfect dress. The process was so relaxed and comfortable- she didn't make me feel bad for being picky and really listened to what I did and didn't like. Really enjoyed my experience. I had a lower budget than most would for their dress and my consultant found & picked exactly what I was looking for only $100 over budget. She was understanding and easy to connect with. Made my experience super fun and lively!

Emily was amazing. I went shopping for the first time at a different boutique and left down hearted.... everything was not my style and looked horrible on me. I came into Renee Austin a few weeks ago to look for my wedding dress and was pretty anxious it was going to be a stressful, intense, and overwhelming experience and thanks to my wonderful consultant, Eliza, it ended up being so much fun. Eliza made the appointment really relaxed and easygoing; she listened to my opinions while still encouraging me try on dresses I didn't think I would care for. By the end of the appointment I was choosing between 3 or 4 lovely dresses, any of which I would have been overjoyed to get married in. Overall, the store and atmosphere were both great and I honestly wish I had not found my dress the 1st time so I could come back and do the whole thing again. Thanks again to Eliza for helping me find my wedding dress and for making it a day I will always look back on fondly. I will definitely recommend Renee Austin to anyone getting married!

We showed up early and Jana was very flexible, she scarfed down her lunch so we could start right away. She and Emily pulled a bunch of dresses I had in mind and they were ready for me to try upon arrival. I tried on everything I thought I'd love and nothing was 100% working for me. I turned to Jana and asked if she had anything else, anything! She went in the back and returned with my dress. I knew right away it was the one and didn't want to try anything else on after that! So in love! The experience was amazing, very hospital staff. They know their stuff and have so many beautiful gowns!

I found the consultants to be attentive, flexible and not pushy. They listened to what I wanted, found solutions when I addressed concerns about a dress or accessory, and understood when I needed time to make my decision. I have been to a lot of bridal salons, and I have never had a better experience than my experiences at Renee Austin! I came here last year for a bridemaids dress - the salon and bridal party had a blast and endless amounts of laughter were shared! Getting our dresses back was a easy process as well. During my fitting, they even let my daughter try on dress even though we didn't have an appointment. She could not wait to come back and do it again!

About a month ago I bought my wedding dress here and the experience was just as amazing. Renee Austin made me feel beautiful and there was absolutely NO pressure on buying a dress - which made me feel even more comfortable saying yes to my dress! Again, they let my daughter try on that dress she was dreaming about while standing next to me in my dress. It will be a moment I will never forget

Renee Austin gave me such an incredible experience in finding my wedding dress. The store has such a stunning selection of dresses in variety of price ranges. I worked with Jana, and she was so fun, upbeat, and encouraging. Jana listened to the vision I gave her about my dream dress, and she pulled the perfect dresses for me to twirl around in. I accompanied my sister to Renee Austin when she purchased her wedding dress earlier this year, and I loved it there! The whole place was so cute, and the employees were so helpful and sweet. I definitely wanted to find my dress there when it was my turn. We worked with Jana when we bought my sister's dress and mine, and we just love her! She is so sweet and fun. She definitely made a process that could have been anxiety-inducing for a non-shopper like me into a fun experience. She got a gist of what I liked, and grabbed several she thought I would like to try, and some other ones to try as well to branch out. This was helpful since I had never shopped for or tried on a wedding dress before. It's also nice that bridesmaid dresses are available through them as well, if you care to do it all in one place. I had a great experience here and would recommend it to any of my friends! No need to go anywhere else! :)

The girl that helped me was so great! She didn't pressure me to go beyond my price range. She also talked to my privately (away from my group of girls I brought) to make sure I was getting the dress I wanted, not the dress they wanted me to get. Loved loved loved this place to buy my wedding dress. Able to accommodate my small budget and quick timeframe. Personable and so friendly. Only complaint was the receptionist wasn't super welcoming. Everything else was fantastic. Would recommend this place over any other!!!

You HAVE to go to Renee Austin to look for your wedding dress. I went to 4 different salons in Detroit, Atlanta, and Grand Rapids and Renee Austin was the best!!! Emily is amazing and very knowledgeable about what she does. They have great prices and I was able to stay under my budget. This store does the perfect blend of pulling dress recommendations for you and allowing you to get up and browse for yourself.

I could not have asked for a better experience at Renee Austin, especially working with Mia. Their selection of dresses was extensive, and Mia was very responsive to what I was looking for. She was the only consultant I worked with who tried to find creative solutions so the dress I chose would be just right, and I really could not have picked the dress I did without her help. She was also very conscientious of my budget. Even though there were other appointments happening at the same time, I always felt like my experience was private and individual, which I found isn't always the case in bridal salons.

Overall, I would recommend Renee Austin as a must-go for any bride looking for her perfect dress! (and ask for Mia!)

I had been to several bridal shops before coming to Renee Austin. The service was outstanding and the girls that work there are all so nice and make you feel comfortable. I was very picky about which dress I wanted to go with and the consultant actually picked out the one I ended up buying. They listen to what you like and don't like and keep within your budget. Not only was I a "last minute" bride who came in unexpectedly on her lunch hour, I had a specific vision and a very pessimistic outlook (curvy body, needing to buy off the rack, less than 60 days to find a dress...the odds were not in my favor). After twenty minutes with Emily, I was a bride-to-be, in a dress with accessories, feeling beautiful, classic, and without a worry in the world. Emily took the time to listen and pay attention to the details amongst my babbling regarding my ceremony, reception, overall vision, etc. and was able to find something in their inventory that fit my vision perfectly (and me with some alterations!!). I could not believe that I bought a dress in less than half an hour and I did not have to settle!!! I also need to add that prior to going into the store, I sent several facebook messages asking about inventory, etc. and Maggie always responded quickly and so professionally- beyond sweet and helpful. I've also been working with the woman who handles their alterations, Litsa Nelson, and she has also been wonderful. A short turn around time with a lengthy list of alterations, didn't even make her flinch :) In short, my experience with Renee Austin Wedding has been beyond my wildest expectations and I could not recommend enough that you go there! I am so, so thankful for them!

For being a small boutique they have a great selection of gowns with all price ranges! I was able to stay within budget without a problem. I can't say enough about the staff-they're so friendly, accommodating, and personable. I've worked with both Jana and Emily and they were wonderful. I fell in love with a discontinued wedding gown I found at a small boutique in my hometown - but it was too small for me :( I contacted every bridal store in MI and OH that carried the designer, hoping to find someone who still had the gown in stock. Renee Austin did not have that particular gown, but contacted the designer and discovered they had only 3 of that gown left - and one was my size! They were able to special order the gown for me and even sold it at half price because it was discontinued. It was the dress of my dreams and both fit and looked amazing on our big day. Renee Austin is a for sure planned stop as we search for the dress for my sister's upcoming nuptials.

I would tell anyone and everyone to go to Renee Austin to find their wedding dress! I was overwhelmed by the idea of finding a dress, had a limited budget, and was going shopping with a group of women that included difficult family tensions. Immediately upon arriving, Janna made me feel excited about the experience of finding a dress, told me to let her deal with the group dynamics, and never made me feel like my budget was unrealistic. So here is my story. I took my mom, sister and soon to be mother-in-law all over Grand Rapids dress shopping. Like most brides I likes a little bit of this dress and a little bit of that dress, but nothing that really had me excited. I liked a few a lot, but nothing I was in love with. I had a budget of $1,000 and was willing to go over if I found THE dress. In almost all the stores I was sent to look at all the dresses and tag the ones I wanted to try on, good, I wanted to look at all my options. But it started to get to the point that the only ones I even kind of liked were around the $1,700 area. Ended up finding one that I was in love with, but it was $2,200! I became very frustrated and felt bad that I drug everyone out for an entire day to end up with nothing. I looked up more bridal shops and found Renee Austin! It was right down the road from my work so I made an appointment to go there after work one day. I didn't want to drag anyone out, I thought I would go check it out first and even see if I liked anything there. When I got there I was the only bride there. Their back room in big and open and it was just me and the sales associate (I feel so bad I forgot her name because she was amazing!!!) I told her my whole story, all the gowns I like don't feel comfortable buying. I liked some but they weren't really the style I was going for. I told her about my venue and what I liked and didn't like about the other dresses. She said that she wasn't going to let me walk around and look because then I would fall in love with something that was out of my price range. I was SO relieved! The first dress she had me put on was PERFECT! EXACTLY what I was looking for! I honestly couldn't believe that she literally pulled the dress that was in my head that nobody else could figure out! She listened and delivered! and UNDER my budget! All the ladies were so nice and I am just IN LOVE with my beautiful gown! LOVE THEM!

I would come in with a general idea of wedding dress styles you prefer and research the styles the store has in stock. I would also be open minded to trying on dresses that veer outside of your top choice you may have decided on while browsing online. I ultimately fell in love with a dress I found online and was determined this would be my dress. Having decided this, I was still open minded to trying on other dresses and actually decided on a different dress that I stylistically preferred on me. Looking online at this dress after purchasing it, I am not sure I would have rated it as my top choice. However, having tried it on made all the difference.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! I went into my appointment having no clue about what I wanted in a dress. Katrina assured me that wouldn't be a problem. I began telling her about my beach wedding, and it was as if she immediately knew exactly what I was looking for. She brought me a few dresses but the first one she picked for me ended up being my dress. She was wonderful throughout the entire experience and really helped me through what I was expecting to be the worst part of planning a wedding!

I had an fantastic experience at Renee Austin. With only a 4 month engagement, they were able to get me in for an appointment the same week I got engaged, and had a wide variety of dresses to choose from. They allowed me to try on dresses that they knew would come in time for my wedding. Despite having to rush order the dress, there were still so many beautiful options in my price range. This was the first place I had looked for dresses so I didn't buy one on my first visit. I ended up coming back to the store later that day after shopping around, and I couldn't wait to come back. The quality of the dresses at the other store I visited were not nearly as good, and I was sharing an appointment time with 3 other brides. My experience at Renee Austin was MUCH better. I returned to the store the same day and found the perfect dress for me :) The stylist took the time to listen to my priorities and attempted to get to know me to find the best fit possible. They were very professional and gave me over an hour of 1:1 assistance. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

I went into Renee Austin nervous because I had a tight budget and tight schedule. However, they made sure that they only showed me dresses I could get in on time, and that would be within my budget, so that I wouldn't fall in love with a dress I couldn't have. They made sure I was well taken care of, and weren't pushy in any way (even saying that I could go get coffee, make a decision, and come back). I ended up buying the dress off of the rack that she had recommended, as well as a belt and veil. Overall I was really impressed with everything and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dress in the Grand Rapids area!

I had a great experience with Mia and all of the staff at Renee Austin. Mia completely understood my vision and knew what I was looking for in a dress. I live in Chicago and I was visiting family near Grand Rapids, I had thought that I would find my dress in Chicago and I would just browse at the options while in Grand Rapids. As soon as I entered the boutique, I could tell that the quality and style of the dresses were on par with the shops in Chicago. I am a 63 year old bride, and I found the perfect dress at Renee Austin. Alicia was so kind and friendly and helpful, she guided me to the perfect dress for me. I ended up getting a Mother of The Bride dress. I was able to order it in my size in the color I wanted. I would highly recommend this store for not only brides, but the entire wedding party, or even a fancy evening dress.

The ladies here are absolutely amazing!!! They are so helpful, and friendly. I forgot to make a appointment to get my Jr bridesmaids fitted, and they were SUPER busy that day with 2 wedding parties of 10+ in each, and they still helped us with smiles on their faces!!! When I went in for my first appointment, I showed her the style I liked, and it was the first dress. All of the ones I tried on were perfect. She did a great job of explaining the contract, and they were SUPER friendly. I very literally almost invited them to my wedding because they felt like friends by the time we left!!!

They really went out of their way to make me feel special, despite the busy Saturday. It was a moment I really wanted to enjoy and appreciated that they helped achieve that. Their dress selection was much larger than I was anticipating!

These ladies did the PERFECT job measuring me so that I needed no alterations except a hem and bustle! Really treated you well, made you feel like a princess, very attentive!

Everyone at Renee Austin was a huge help finding my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dress! Jana and Mia were so helpful and pulled suggestions for us that they thought we would like. They all respected our budget and made me feel so comfortable while shopping. I would tell every bride in West Michigan to go to Renee Austin.

I drove from Chicago just to look at what Renee Austin Wedding had in stock for my wedding dress. The 4th dress I tried on was THE DRESS. I actually canceled the rest of the appointments I had scheduled with other Grand Rapids Venue's. Erin was the BEST. She was so helpful!!! When I went back to pickup my dress 5 months later, I actually purchased the perfect veil to go with my dress. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Renee Austin. Everyone is super nice, friendly, and helpful.

Renee Austin had the perfect dress for me. I worked with Erin whom is very personable and knowledgeable. Erin listened to exactly what I wanted and found the dress for me. After choosing my dress I received a thank you card in the mail from Erin personally. This was a very nice and professional touch that I appreciated. They gave me a great suggestion on who to use for alterations as well.

I had a wonderful experience at Renee Austin! It was the very first salon that I visited, and I wasn't entirely sure what kind of dress I wanted. Jana was very quick to figure out what styles I liked and were flattering, and she pulled absolutely gorgeous selections! She made the whole experience so fun and stress-free! I hadn't planned to buy a dress so soon, and Jana totally understood when my mom and I wanted to check out a few other salons. We did, but none of them measured up in selection and particularly in experience- it would be impossible to beat Renee Austin! When I went back to my second appointment, I tried on the dress that I loved and Jana pulled a few others based on a few dresses I'd liked at other shops. I ended up buying the first dress that I had tried on! Everything went so smoothly, and I cannot thank Jana and the rest of the staff enough for making it so wonderful!

I found my wedding dress and my bridesmaids' dresses at Renee Austin. Emily helped us during both appointments. She did an awesome job picking up on my style right away, and she pulled dresses that were both in my price range and absolutely what I was looking for. My bridesmaids all found dresses that they felt good in and that I loved, and I ended up falling in love with the first wedding dress I tried on. I was worried about feeling overwhelmed by the dress shopping process, but Emily was so helpful in finding dresses and accessories that were absolutely beautiful and that I never would have imagined myself picking out on my own. I can't wait for my dress to come in!

I loved my experience at Renee Austin. I had gone to other bridal stores, but the minute I started my appointment here I knew this was the store that would have my dress. The staff was wonderful and made you feel good about yourself; there was also a nice selection of different dresses to try on. I came back for a second appointment to choose between two dresses and they were able to accommodate my work schedule. Wish I could go back and have this experience here all over again!

After going to another bridal store in Michigan in the morning and feeling completely ignored by my consultant there, I came to my appointment at Renee Austin feeling a little down. Everything turned around after I started talking with my consultant, Jana. She was WONDERFUL. I cannot say enough great things about the whole experience I had trying on and buying a wedding gown with Jana as my consultant. She made me feel special by taking the time to get to know me and genuinely listened to what I was looking for in a wedding dress.

Renee Austin has a great staff, but also a great selection of wedding dresses that fit all types of styles. The prices are reasonable too as I was not looking to spend over $2,000 on my wedding dress. I bought my dress that day from Renee Austin and wouldn't change a thing if I could do it all over again.

I would highly recommend that any bride-to-be make an appointment at Renee Austin to try and find their perfect wedding gown! You will not be disappointed!

Renee Austin bridal and the staff were wonderful in helping me pick out my perfect dress for my big day! They also had flexible hours to accommodate my work schedule as well! Highly recommended group of people!

I love the Renee Austin wedding salon so much. They were very friendly, warm, and easy to interact with. They made my time there feel important and were able to find a gown that fit all of my wants. I was able to find my wedding gown quickly while have a great time and for a great price. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!

I had an extremely great experience with this salon. Very helpful, never rushed me even though my appointment went well over the scheduled time. I brought a large group of people, who all picked out a ton of dresses they wanted me to try on, she was very patient and helped me in and out of each one without issue. I also brought my two flower girls and they allowed them to try on a few dresses even though the appointment wasn't scheduled for that. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great place to find their perfect dress. I definitely found mine.
