This is an awesome venue for a wedding. The outdoor space is beautiful, the ballroom was such a great space for a celebration and the food was wonderful. Maureen was our event manager and she did a perfect job! The entire staff did so many things to make out day special. We could not have asked for a more magical day.Sent on 06/13/2018

The Renaissance Austin Hotel was incredible. I am so glad that I chose to host my wedding here. From the very first meeting, they make you feel as though you are the most special bride they have dealt with. Everything was executed to perfection. If anything at all went wrong on my wedding day, I wasn't aware of it. My wedding was everything I imagined it would be, thanks to the Renaissance. The food was delicious, the service staff was wonderful. All around, this place is amazing and I will recommend it to everyone.Sent on 01/24/2015

The Renaissance was our reception venue, and everything turned out great. I chose this venue as it was close to home and the church, and one of the big reasons was that it had a hotel included which would be safe for our guests. We got an amazing rate and were even able to get it honored for extra days for our close family. We used Glass Oaks which was gorgeous and loved the fact it was detached from the hotel. We received numerous compliments on the food, cake and the service. The only glitch we had was that they initially didn't have the liquor at the reception set up so we had to quickly remind them to fix this ASAP, which they did :) Our sales contact and event manager were great, very responsive and always available to meet when needed. We even got our pictures behind the hotel as it was a beautiful natural background. All around a great venue I highly recommend!Sent on 05/06/2013

We used the Renaissance Austin Hotel for our wedding reception- HOLY COW did they go above and beyond to make our day the BEST day ever!! The level of service was the best I have seen. We got so many compliments from guests on that and the food. We did food stations and that was a huge hit. The Mac and cheese station was a favorite! The tenderloin was incredible. They made me special yellow salt to go with our margaritas as our colors were yellow. That was so sweet and a little detail that went a long way. The whole night flowed so well. We had an hour cocktail reception in the ballroom foyer and arbor area then moved into the Grand ballroom for dinner and dancing. The room look AMAZING! We did up lights on the walls with a design- it changed the look of the ballroom entirely making it very unique to my wedding. The bar set ups were very nice and upscale as well- not your typical bar at every hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful! Laura Jakubisyn was our event manager- she knows what she is doing. huge help in the wedding planning process the whole time. Renaissance Austin Hotel is getting ready to renovate their ballroom -sad I did not get to use that one. BUT it's going to look even better and more modern- excited for other brides to see it. The catering sales managers- Marilyn and Lisa are the sweetest! They loves weddings and every bride- and our genuinely excited for you each of you! Thank you so much Renaissance Austin for making our wedding more than I could have even imagined. I look forward to your renovations and maybe our 1 year anny at your hotel. ALL MY LOVE- AllisonSent on 07/13/2012

Our Renaissance Hotel wedding was spectacular! We had our reception in the Glass Oaks Ballroom, which is gorgeous.Sent on 11/01/2010
Our coordinator, Jenny Hernandez, was the best thing that happened to our wedding. She made sure everything went off without a hitch. They provided us with such exceptional service, from handing out gift bags to our guests upon check-in to sending us champagne the night before the wedding. Jenny even text messaged me a picture of the wedding cakes when they arrived.
The food was FANTASTIC. My fiance love love loved the beef tenderloin, and everything was equally as amazing.
They were able to provide uplighting for a few of the walls, and changed our site plan as many times as we needed. They contstantly gave us updated lists of guests that had made reservations, too.
We are very happy with how our wedding turned out and we recommend the Renaissance Austin!

The Renaissance has been very kind and responsive when my mom and I have looked into their venue. My mom went on a tour and sent me pictures since I'm out if state. She said the service was excellent/thorough and the ballroom was breathtaking!!Sent on 08/15/2016

The Renaissance Austin Hotel provided excellent, professional service for planning my reception. We met 2 months before the wedding to discuss the event. We were quickly able to decide on a date, services required, and even negotiated the price. Sometimes the coordinator was difficult to contact near the time of the wedding which was very stressful, but overall great service and everything went smoothly.Sent on 08/26/2015

Our wedding was in the Glass Oaks Ballroom of the Renaissance Austin Hotel. The ballroom was perfect. When we negotiated the contract I was promised many things that ended up not being true. I really liked the person who showed us around, and was promised she would be the coordinator throughout. I never saw her again. Instead I was assigned someone else who was in general nice, however she was not as responsive as I would have liked. I was told that the Renaissance would be a full service vendor (setting up items and taking them down, running the timeline) None of this was true which we found out two weeks before the wedding. I had to hire a last minute day of coordinator to assist.Sent on 05/20/2013
The Renaissance also was two hours behind the day of the wedding for set-up because they double booked the room. As a result my maid of honor, a friend, the florists and the linen company had to assist the Renaissance in doing their job to get back on schedule.
On the other hand, the cake prepared by Renaissance and the food was EXCELLENT! Everyone raved about both.
