I highly recommend Jon Bartlett and Remixx DJs to anyone that is looking for a disc jockey for their wedding. Jon provide excellent personal service, taking the time to meet with us, get to know us, and help us personalize our reception so it was perfect. He did a great job announcing all of the special events that evening and his music choices were on point; the dance floor was packed all night! We thought the price was very fair considering the level of service and the quality of equipment John provided. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Please book John as your DJ. He did such an incredible job. He was completely professional in our planning meeting letting us know his vision/strategy and was open to any of our concerns. In the end we trusted his opinions and I’m so glad we did! The way he played songs and then subtley transitioned to another was awesome. It was like the music never stopped which led to no one ever really leaving the dance floor because it was just nonstop good music.

He came up to me about the point when we would have done the bouquet toss and asked if we still wanted to do it and it was like he read my mind, I didn’t. I was having too much fun and so was everyone else dancing that I did not want to stop that. I was so glad he could read that and didn’t just go ahead with it. He also announced the last 2 songs, the first was a slow song that was important to my husband’s family and the last was Don’t Stop Believing. Such a cliche but it was absolutley perfect. Somehow this circle kind of formed around me and my husband with everyone just swaying and singing and it was seriously my favorite part of the night and most of the guests favorite part of the night as well. We also followed John’s idea and my husband and I got to have 1 last dance by ourselves after everyone had gone downstairs to set up for the sparkler send us. It was so lovely and meaningful and we were so happy he suggested it.

Overall, just got with John, we were glad we paid a little extra to specifically have him that night. It was all completely worth it.

Jon was awesome! The weather on our wedding day ended up being beautiful, and we had outdoor space, so at one point I was worried no one would be on the dance floor, but the music was so good that it wasn't a problem at all! We even ended up paying for an extra hour because everyone was having so much fun, and the music only got better :)

When we were talking to other DJs, they all were very pushy and made us uneasy. However, when we talked to John we could tell immediately that he would work with us to make sure our wedding was amazing. We booked early and made sure that John would be the DJ for our event because he made us so comfortable. Before the wedding we got a thorough form to fill out that covered the song choices for all of our events, as well as our music preferences for the rest of the reception, which was really helpful. John kept bodies on the dance floor all night; whenever the energy started to get low, he would put on a song to get everybody back out there. That was a huge reason that everyone had such a fun time, and we couldn’t recommend Remix DJ highly enough!

Jon was amazing! The only thing that my husband cared about at the wedding was the music. He had lots of opinions and Jon was so nice and accommodating throughout the entire process. We had an amazing time working with Jon from start to finish!

We wanted our reception music to provide an incredible party for our guests but also for it to be uniquely ours, and Jon delivered plus more. He was invaluable in helping us inject our personality into the music and creating a natural flow of events for the evening. Jon knows exactly how to gauge the dance floor to keep it packed ALL night long. Our guests were having so much fun till the last song, we continued on to the after party, which is exactly what we wanted!

Jon Bartlett with ReMix DJs was a fantastic DJ! Jon DJ'd our friend's wedding a few years ago and we reached out to him because we remembered what a fantastic job he did. Jon met with us to map out a detailed plan for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Jon did a great job of staying in contact with us throughout the wedding planning process and was very prepared the day of our wedding. We gave Jon a list of certain songs we liked, but he did a great job of sensing the crowd and playing what worked to keep our guests happy and on the dance floor! He wasn't just a guy operating a playlist--he MC'd the whole evening, but he did it without being on the mic a lot (which I liked!) The dance floor was full the entire night! Highly recommend!

Jon was awesome. He was professional and his mixing was great. The uplighting that he brings made our reception look beautiful. He sped up the tempo for my first dance with my dad, and it turned out perfectly. He was the full package, and worth every single penny. I LOVED having him as our DJ!!

I am a wedding photographer by trade, so I am at receptions almost every week, and Jon's mixing and music choices were above and beyond most DJ's.

Wow! What a party! The minute we met John from Remix DJs we knew we were in good hands. He came highly recommended by our wedding venue and it was immediately apparent why. John knew the venue extremely well and all of his suggestions were spot on. Particularly impressive was the care that he took to make sure we had all of our music requests met, no matter how bizarre. On the day of the wedding, John was on time, professional and a bunch of fun! He kept our wedding moving at a perfect pace and people stayed on the dance floor until the very last song!

Jon from ReMix DJs was incredible! Jon met with us a few times to discuss our details. He was the DJ for the our ceremony and wedding. He was extremely helpful in picking out the song that were perfect for us. Any request we had he honored it, even one request I had at the last minute. My husband knew that this was the DJ for us even before we had our first one on one. Thank you ReMix DJs!

Jon at ReMIX DJs was amazing to work with. He was extremely helpful, especially since we planned our wedding from out of town. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night and played the variety of genres we wanted. A little more than a month prior to our wedding, we discussed the time schedule of how we wanted the night to go (and as a bride without a wedding planner, this was so helpful!). He did a fantastic job keeping the night moving along from the very beginning (introducing the wedding party, announcing when to eat, and when to get your drinks ready for toasts, etc..). My husband is from the UK and wanted me to mention how great he thought Remix DJ's was from a foreigner's perspective, and we both highly recommend this company to any couple looking for the best DJ in KC.

Jon Barlett from ReMIX DJ's was an amazing DJ for our wedding. He is very professional and really knows how to read a crowd to get a party started and keep it going! He worked seamlessly with my reception venue and wedding coordinator and stuck to the "Play and Do Not Play" song lists based on my husband's and my preferences. I highly recommend Jon/ReMIX as your wedding reception DJ!

We used Jon for our wedding last year and I cannot say enough good things about him. We were recommended from two others who used him previously. Jon was professional, replied in a timely manner and always kept in touch - planning a wedding is stressful and when I lost track of things he always maintained contact to remind me of anything needed. He took time out of his day to meet me before the wedding to finalize any and everything I wanted. There were even details that I totally missed that he helped me with. Throughout our reception, he made sure to seek that we were happy and everything was flowing smoothly. On top of everything, he truly enjoys what he does and never makes you feel like you're being a pain. I couldn't recommend him enough and anytime someone asks, I send them straight to him. Jon Bartlett and his crew at Remix DJs caught the attention of my fiance and I while we attended a wedding earlier this year. We knew immediately that they were the DJs we would hire. Jon Bartlett did the music and MC'd at our Wedding Reception this month. We were incredibly impressed with how professional and accommodating he was to our requests. He kept checking in with us throughout the night to make we were having fun and played only the songs we had agreed upon. We were truly blown away by the experience. Jon is such a fantastic combination of talent, experience, and fun! Many guests said Jon was the best D.J. they've ever heard, at any kind of venue! As the bride, I was able to enjoy the evening without concern. I knew that Jon would create a great atmosphere of celebration, using the genre of songs we requested. We felt like he was right in tune with what we were looking for. Jon fulfilled all of our expectations, going above and beyond the norm, making our evening more wonderful than we could have imagined.

Being a wedding planner, I knew exactly who to turn to for my reception DJ. Jon has taken care of many of my brides and I knew he would do the same for my own wedding. Situated up at The Elms, my husband and I decided to start the evening with a band and then utilize Jon to fill in during the breaks that the band took and then finish our evening out. Live music is awesome, but when a song ends and they exit the stage for 15 minutes, you can loose a good crowd on the dance floor. We were lucky that this never happened to us- Jon stepped in during the break and make the music seamless. He listed to ensure he did not duplicate the songs and catered to our guests tastes.

Thank you Jon- for all that you did for me and Jimmy and all that you will continue to do for my clients! You are great!

We hired Remix DJ's for our departments annual holiday party at H&R Block. They were awesome, Jon was so wonderful with everything, from helping me arrange the mix of music (our group ranges from hip hop to country) to making the lighting perfect for the ballroom we used. JT was - well, I can't say enough about him. He timed everything perfectly. Controlled the tempo and the mood of the music just like I wanted. Made the night a blast for everyone. Personality +++++ Not only are their services outstanding, their rates are great. Jon made it a point to work me to stay within my budget. Again, I can't say how great these guys are. We couldn't have picked a better Dj for our wedding. When we decided to go with a Dj we searched and searched because we wanted to find a Dj that was unique and wasn't like every other wedding Dj with the corny props and tacky music. That wasn't us and then we found remix Dj and boy did John deliver. We had a blast at our wedding and everyone told us how much fun they had and how unique the song selections were. And we couldn't thank john enough for giving us the experience we were looking for. I would highly recommend remix Dj to all brides in the Kansas City area.

Jon was recommended to us and after looking at previous reviews, we decided to use ReMix DJs for our wedding. We could not have been happier with Jon and the services he provided. He provided us with uplighting, music/mic for the ceremony, and DJ services during the reception. Jon gave us the greatest wedding gift of all...a smoothly run/sounding wedding ceremony, great music for cocktail hour, and, as many of our guests proclaimed, the best reception they have ever been to.

Jon took the stress off us to come up with a playlist that would appeal to all ages and instead focused on the mood and style we wanted during our wedding events. By taking the load off our shoulders, Jon came up with a great playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor (even the parents and grandparents) all night. The value Jon provides is beyond any planning my wife could have expected and kept me (the groom) dancing all night (I don't dance...ever). Not only was Jon able to tap into our wants and desires for our wedding, he did it all with the highest level of enthusiasm and friendship...he made us comfortable and it seemed like we knew him for years while planning the wedding.

We have nothing but rave reviews for Jon and highly recommend him for any wedding or special event. The greatest part of all this is that we came away from the process with someone we can call a friend. Thanks Jon for a great night.

Jon Bartlett did an outstanding job. He read the crowed, knew what type of music to play when, knew when to pump up the crowd and when to slow it down. All guests kept telling us how much fun the reception was and how they haven't been to one that was this fun in a very long time, and we owe it all to Jon. He is an amazing DJ and MC.

Jon was straight up fantastic not only on our wedding day, but also prior to our wedding in helping us make sure all things entertainment-related had the precise vibe & esthetic that we were going for. He's just good at what he does. He understands the flow of a wedding, he's great on the mic, and he accommodated both indoor & outdoor setups for our ceremony & reception. Great dude, dresses well, is incredibly kind, and DJs awfully well to boot. Hire him.

We worked with Jon from RemixDJs and honestly, we couldn't have been happier. I saw him do my cousin's wedding last summer and it was one of the best dance parties I've ever been to..so naturally..we hired him for ours!

Jon will listen to your every request, note anything you want or need, and execute it exactly as you wanted. I left the actual dancing music pretty much up to him with a few parameters on what kind of a crowd would be at the wedding, and he took that concept and ran beautifully with it. There were 3 different generations dancing at the same time! If the floor thinned out at all, he would change it up a bit and folks would crowd up again and keep dancing.

My only concern was that I was so busy glad-handing (since it was my own wedding) that I didn't dance the entire time.

Bottom line, great service, great value, great product.

Mike and his crew did an amazing job! Everyone was up dancing all night! They listened to what my husband and I wanted played. The were very professional and not like the typical "corny" DJ that tries to run the show!

He did an OUTSTANDING job !!! He had all of our guest up and dancing all night long. Not only did he know exactly what music to play to keep everyone up on there feet all night long he is great to work with. He is easy to get a hold of, replies to emails in a timely manner and he made a full timeline of our reception for us.

When my husband and I were searching for a DJ for our wedding we knew what we wanted. We wanted a DJ who was current, and loved music. We wanted a DJ that had a strong passion for music, and could really start a party. Jon went WAY above that expectation. He exceeded all expectations we had. When we first met Jon we had a meeting to go over what songs and music we liked, and what we did not like. He helped us plan out our reception timeline as well at the wedding. When we got around to the actual wedding day Jon rocked our reception! He had EVERYONE on the dance floor ALL night. This included my dad who never ever dances! Everyone had so much fun, and everyone talked about the DJ when our wedding came into the conversation! ReMIX really stood out because they use actual turn tables and mix the music, they mix one song into the next and keep the party moving! They also know what to play and can read the crowd well. If I ever have another large event, perhaps a vow renewal party or something I will definitely be calling Jon back. We had so much fun working with him and could not have picked a better DJ. He is one of the best!!!

ReMIX DJs provided the best party ever! It made our night! We have had so many people asking for the playlist and telling us how much fun it was. The are worth double what they charge, and that's the truth. If you like to dance you HAVE to hire ReMIX DJs! Not your typical cheesy wedding DJ. These guys threw a straight party and we loved it.

My husband and I searched high and low for a DJ that would provide us with the best dance party ever for our wedding. Jon was that person. He made it possible to play whatever we wanted in whatever sequence we wanted. We had our wedding in the middle of the day. We hired Remix DJ's and through their incredible skill, they managed to get the party going and made it feel like an evening at the club!! We had so much fun dancing to their mixes!

My husband and I live in Memphis, TN so finding vendors in Kansas City wasn't always easy. My parents found Jon with ReMIX DJs and my first time seeing his work was the night of our wedding. We were all blown away. Jon's flexibility with time (our reception was running about 30 mins behind) was seamless. The music he played during dinner was perfect and after dinner he got the party started. The dance floor was full the entire reception and all of our guests stayed until the very end. The venue, The Carriage Club, let my parents know they don't see a lot of parties quite as fun as ours.

In the words of my brother, "THAT DJ WAS MONEY!"

Jon was great! He was so easy to talk to and we felt as though he truly understood our tastes and what music would make our wedding fantastic! Our guests even commented on the variety of music and felt as though there was something for everyone. We had a wonderful time at our wedding with Jon as our DJ!

ReMIX DJs have been the life of our special needs prom for a few years now and will definitely use them in the future. Their break dancers really entertained our youth and did a great job at making everyone feel welcomed!

Jon and Remix Djs were outstanding. He absolutely made our reception! We wanted music that fit our personalities and venue and we wanted our guests to have a ball. They did and so did we. It was so nice to not have to worry about how the evening would run, knowing Jon was on top of it as our MC and dj. Listen, the dj makes or breaks your reception. I have been to multitudes of weddings where the dj was painfully bad and it just makes the evening awkward and long. Jon did an amazin job of reading the crowd and knowing when to transition things, and we just danced the night away. He was the best and I cannot recommend him enough!

DJ TIBERIAS was so wonderful! We did our wedding very cheap and had our reception at the church we had our ceremony. Needless to say we wanted dancing to be one the most important parts of our day! My husband and I both love to dance but had to keep it clean to comply with the church regulations...It seemed impossible until we met with our DJ.. He listened to everything we wanted and put our minds at ease. He respected our wishes and still managed to raise the roof at our reception! My husband and I danced into the morning until only the wedding party remained!! We Loved our DJ and highly recommend this company. Thanks ReMIX DJs!

I recommend Remix to everyone. For me the music at the reception was key to ensuring everyones good time and the fun mood, Jon made it happen, everyone was dancing and had a great time. I got so many compliments on my choice of dj and music. We met and went over mine and my husbands taste in music and the kind of stuff we wanted to hear and he tailored everything to our style! Remix is not cheesy or over the top like you see at some weddings Jon actually did the entire outline and flow of the whole night and everything was perfect. Remix exceeded all of our expectations, it's the biggest and best party you will ever throw and the music has to be right and it was!

Jon was perfect. From the moment we met him we just knew he was the DJ for us. My husband is a bit of a music snob, but Jon won him over from the beginning. Working from vinyl, he is a professional DJ and not just a wedding vendor. Professional in all ways, and a great guy all around he did a phenomenal job. Our guests loved to dance the night away, and our reception felt like a party, not just a list of formalities. If you want a DJ who will keep the party going without the use of hula hoops and the chicken dance then Jon is your guy!

Jon was awesome! We are still getting compliments on the music almost a month later. The whole process was super easy with Re-mix dj's, and we all had a blast at the reception. Jon is very knowledgeable about all kinds of music, and I was so glad he was able to cater to my more alternative tastes. I'm so glad I went with re-mix dj's it really did make the reception an amazing night!

Jon with ReMix was wonderful to work with. He had great ideas and listened to what we wanted or didn't want. He was flexible in his meeting times and was always fun to talk to. He did great at our reception! He was attentive to the dance floor and to what we wanted.

ReMIX did an amazing job for our wedding. We were very busy leading up to the wedding, and finding times to meet was very difficult. ReMIX was very accommodating to us and we were able to work out times to meet. The DJ services at the wedding were excellent, all of our music selections were played and requests were handled appropriately. We are very happy with our selection and would recommend Jon and ReMIX for you event.

Jon was a phenomenal DJ. He had everyone out dancing the whole time, even after me and the groom left! It was very upbeat and he has a great way of mixing his music together creating a great flow. He even had my grandparents out on the dance floor!
Jon's skills grab people of all ages! I would recommend his company to anyone.

Overall good. Couple of criticisms. Should be louder on the mic. Many times we could not hear what the announcement was. Such as garter toss, our names being introduced..etc. More interactive on the mic with the audience to get the party going. New music should of started sooner. And should of taken notice of lighting to have them dimmed to make it more dance friendly. That's it. Jon was very friendly and filled all asked requests.

Jon seemed extremely nice when we first met with him and he gave the impression that he would be able to meet all of our needs. He said to us, "You only get one shot with your name" as reassurance that he could meet our needs however this was not exactly true. My husband is from eastern Europe and about one third of our wedding guests speak Russian. We worked extremely hard to make CD filled with Russian music for Jon to play at the wedding. We made one CD with Dinner music and one with Dancing music. He did not play any of the dinner music and then informed us at the wedding that he lost the Russian dance music CD. This had the mother-son dance song on it. The Russian guests and my husbands family were extremely offended that "we" did not play any Russian songs at the wedding. On top of that he also informed my husband that he could not download "Friends in Low Places" and other songs which were on our must play list. It made me very sad because it put such bad spin on things and left my husband and I very unsatisfied.
