No one compares to him!

The main question I kept getting over and over again during/after the wedding was "Oh my goodness, who is your DJ?!" So many of the wedding compliments were about how Rich made the wedding such a performance, rather than just hitting *next* on a playlist. The transitions between games, the way he told our story, and also surprising us with something so beautiful at the end, Rich is the best; no doubt. The time and effort he puts into preparing for our wedding shows that its not just another weekend wedding for him. He puts time, energy, and extreme amounts of effort to create the environment requested by the bride and groom, and was extremely accommodating to us in everything we asked for. Such an outstanding ceremony put on by Rich. I can't thank this man enough.

Months later I have friends asking for Rich's number. My guests continue to talk about how unique and fun our wedding was, and how the Master of Ceremonies was incredible! Rich and his team are the #1 reason that our wedding day was just like we dreamed it would be. 10 out of 10.

RICH WAS LITERALLY AMAZING!!!!! We met Rich at a bridal fair and from the first time we talked with him we knew we wanted him to be our DJ/Master of Ceremonies at our wedding. He just seemed to know what he was doing, he was easy to talk to, and you could tell he was going to put in a ton of work into our wedding day to make it exactly what we wanted. And he did not disappoint!!! We met numerous times to talk about and decide on every detail of the day and was always flexible of when we could meet. He provided services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and provided his big LOVE light up letters. SO literally every aspect of our day, and each one was perfect. From making sure everyone could hear the ceremony because it was outside which was very important to us, to providing music at cocktail hour. Then all night at the reception every single minute you could tell he listened to what we wanted and executed a million times over. The personalized introductions were so hilarious and amazing. The first dances, especially the father daughter first dance where he had my voice talking to my dad during the song. Then the love story was so intimate, romantic, personal and nothing anyone has ever seen/heard before. IT WAS AMAZING! Rich also stayed calm when the power went out due to a storm, since the venue was outside. He worked to get the power back on/find the generator and after 10 minutes when the music came back on he played "Its Raining Men" and totally read the crowd right. The whole dance floor was filled with women wanting to dance the night away. Then we ended the night with a song for just me and my husband on the dance floor and it was so intimate and the perfect end to the night. I can not say enough amazing things about Rich. Best day of our lives in large part to him!!!!!!

Choosing Remarkable Receptions was the absolute best decision we made about my wedding (other than the I do part). Rich made the day run incredibly smooth. I have no idea if anything went wrong, because Rich made sure to have everything and everyone prepped before each portion of the ceremony and reception from the incredible personalized introductions of my bridal party and family, to the toasts/cake cutting, the cute games we played, to the AMAZING love story he crafted from the research he did on us as a couple which left everyone gathered around us listening and tearing up (including us). Rich is an amazing Master of Ceremonies (not just a DJ). The music and transitions were spot on to the plan and everyone bragged about how smoothly everything ran. Rich eased this bride's mind and allowed us as a couple to relax knowing he was handling everything. We also rented the Blue Bulb photobooth he also runs.... it was a big hit and everyone loved his wide variety of props. Thanks again Rich for an amazing day of love, happiness and no stress!

Where do I begin with my praise for Rich Lange and Remarkable Receptions? He was absolutely amazing and was hands-down the most talked about aspect of my wedding. People loved him! Rich went above and beyond as a DJ. We met several times leading up to the big day where we talked in detail about the reception. Rich is multi-talented. He created a picture slideshow and even cut music for my wedding ceremony. He was an expert at adding additional lighting to the reception area. We used his photo booth, LOVE letters, and monogram lighting skills as well. The reception flow was outstanding, thanks to Rich. The introduction of the bridal party was a huge hit. The way he introduced each member individually with facts about each person was unique and personal. The love story he told of how my fiance and I met was beautiful and had the guests in tears. There was never a dull moment and several people wanted his name and number following the wedding. My husband and I couldn’t more pleased with Rich. Book him now! He’s worth it.

We had SO many extras that we had not even considered thanks to Rich and Remarkable Receptions! Who knew a DJ was so creative with lighting, acting as Master of Ceremonies, and in general assisting with the flow of the entire evening. We used his LOVE LETTERS which were such a conversation piece and perfect Photo Op!
His originality in introducing the bridal party, telling the couple's story, and just keeping the reception moving and the guests intrigued was so far beyond my expectations. As the MOB, I was so impressed with the way he met with both of us, taking our suggestions and coming up with the most beautiful moments! DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF A DJ AND MASTER OF CEREMONIES. RICH LANGE IS THE ENTIRE PACKAGE!

You won’t go wrong with having Rich for your wedding day!! He makes sure to have everything you want to make your day perfect! He meets with you as many times as you want and loves for you to tell him exactly what you want! I am really detailed and I loved that he was as well. He went above and beyond to make sure he had a complete understanding of what I wanted and checked with me throughout the entire night to make sure he was doing what I wanted. Rich is the best in the business!!

Rich is awesome. He turned our wedding into an experience our whole wedding party and guests thoroughly enjoyed. He was even able to mashup some songs for as surprise father daughter dance off! He crafted some fun wedding games, interacted with the crowd, and had a good feel for what got our guests out on the dance floor! Make sure to ask him about the “love story”. He was also GREAT at communicating with my wife and I during the planning process. If you are in need of an A+ master of ceremonies, I highly recommend Remarkable Receptions!

My husband and I didn’t know where to start when finding a wedding DJ, but we knew that we wanted a good one. We knew that the music was very important to us. We had seen Rich at a friend’s wedding and decided to set up a meeting with him. We knew instantly that Rich was our guy. Rich is so much more than just a “wedding DJ”. He truly was our “Master of Ceremonies”. Rich kept our wedding flowing exactly like we wanted. We met with Rich several times before our wedding and we are so glad that we did! He truly was everything we were looking for. He did customized introductions and songs for each one of our groomsmen and bridesmaids. My husband and I each sent Rich our version of our “love story”. Rich combined the stories into one and told our love story to the crowd at our wedding. I cried. My husband had tears in his eyes. Our guests welled up with tears. Rich’s rendition of our love story was truly one of the highlights of our day. It was personal, it was emotional and it really captured the life that my husband and I share. Rich was solely responsible for creating an intimate, love-filled environment at my reception! He told our love story in such an incredible way that left us and our guests in tears then transitioned into a fun-filled dance floor when the time was right. There was laughter, tears, and everything in between. Many commented on how unique our wedding was and that it really stood out from others, and aside from having a gorgeous venue, I couldn't credit that to anything else but Remarkable Receptions!

We cannot say enough AMAZING things about Rich with Remarkable Receptions. We had the craziest reception with wind, rain, traveling destinations, electrical issues, etc. and through it all Rich maintained his professionalism, his ability to command/entertain the crowd, and keep us completely out of the loop of all the craziness. We had no idea of any challenges he faced with the obstacles we threw his way because he handled them with such grace and ease! Our meetings before the wedding were organized, professional, and super helpful! Rich told "our story" during the reception and it brought our family and friends to happy tears. Our wedding would not have been half as amazing without Rich!

Rich was absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a better DJ and Emcee. From the first time we met him he made us feel completely at ease! He took time to get to know us, ask questions about how we met, and really understand who we were as a couple. During the reception, he told our "Love Story" and our guests raved to us about how much they liked that all night! The dance floor was never empty, there were happy tears cried all night, and everything ran smoothly! He was AMAZING and I would recommend him to anyone in the Charlotte area! He truly made our day remarkable!

A week ago today, we experienced the awesome priviledge of witnessing our daughter marry her love. And then the celebration began. Rich Lange of Remarkable Receptions was our master of ceremony. From the very beginning, we were impressed with what Rich had planned for this very special day. We could have never imagined his vision to be as fanstastic and memorial as it was. I could go on and on with over the top compliments. The uplighting was absolutely beautiful, The photo booth was never empty. His bridal party introductions were original and entertaining. But his rendition of the bride and groom's love story was the hit in my book. Any reception can be chaotic and run into unplanned schedules. Rich was flawless the entire night. He knows what to say, how to say it and keep all the guests entertained and involved. We have heard from many guests who ranted about how great he was. Even the father of the bride was VERY impressed. Thank you Rich for making this day everything she dreamed of and more.

After meeting with Rich and reading all the fantastic reviews on him, I felt like we had found the perfect DJ/MC. He did not disappoint! He met with us on several occasions to really get to know us, our families, and our likes/dislikes pertaining to the wedding. He is professional, organized, and kept us calm during the entire planning process. I’ll never forget his phone call a few days prior to the wedding just to ask us how we are doing, nerves, etc. Rich coordinated the timing of the entire evening. My husband and I were free to fully enjoy our special day, as Rich was in full control of the flow of events. He wrote a personalized and heartfelt version of our relationship/love story; many said that was one of the highlights of the reception! The music and dancing never stopped! Rich is truly the best!

WOW is the one word I would use to describe Remarkable Receptions. Rich Lange did an awesome job at my daughter's wedding. He worked closely with my daughter and her fiance on every detail, from their love stories to the songs being played, to the father/daughter dance, to the mother/groom dance. He truly is remarkable. Guests were coming up to me and saying WOW, how did you find him! I have attended other weddings, and I can honestly say, they did NOT have a DJ like Rich! We even rented our photo booth from them AND ordered the magnetic photo frames to go with the photos. I didn't have to worry about anything. So happy we found them... and I would highly recommend Remarkable Receptions to EVERYONE planning a wedding! Great job Remarkable Receptions! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I give them five stars!

Rich with Remarkable Receptions was the BEST decision we made for our daughter's wedding! He was professional and made the party FUN! We didn't have alcohol at our wedding and didn't need it! He had the ENTIRE crowd up dancing and having a great time (even my father in law whom I have NEVER seen dance before!!) Rich brought in their love story, he engaged the crowd, he made them a part of the party and everyone RAVED about what an incredible Master of Ceremonies he was! I would HIGHLY recommend him to ANY bride looking for the perfect DJ for their wedding!

He was awesome. He helped us come up with any songs that we forgot to look for. He helped plan a schedule for the ceremony and the reception. He worked with our crazy schedules to be able to meet 3 times before the wedding. He coordinated with all our vendors to make sure everyone knew what was going on at what time. He went around the room and talked to our guests to make sure he got a feel for what kind of music they'd enjoy also. As soon as the dance floor opened until I had to shut it down everyone was up dancing. We honestly couldn't have done this without him. Wonderful person to work with. I lost my father 5 months before my wedding and he asked how we wanted to handle things like the father daughter dance and things like that. He did exactly what we discussed and made sure that it was a joyous celebration and not sad for all of us. My favorite thing about him is that he gets your love story from the brides prospective and the grooms and tells everyone how you meet and just fun facts that people might not know about you. You can find cheaper DJs but it was money well spent and I wouldn't go with anyone else if I had to do it again.

It has been 3 weeks since my wedding and people are still talking about how it was the most FUN wedding they have ever been to and I know a large portion of that credit goes to DJ Rich! He created the best atmosphere. He nailed the timing of the ceremony music that I requested down to the second. When announcing the bridal party he got everyone's name right because he took the time to get everyone in order and get everyone's attention (I've been to plenty of weddings where people's names are called out of order because they did not take time to do this). He was able to accommodate my last minute requests - aka me running up to him asking him to do this or that and he was happy to do it! I had told him via email prior to the wedding that I wanted this to just be a huge fun dance party and that was exactly what he made it! EVERYONE was on the dance floor having the best time. I was able to send him a full list of everything I wanted like songs, reception information, etc. and he nailed the whole night and kept the party going. I would 110% recommend DJ Rich to anyone!!! He is so good at what he does and so experienced, you will have nothing to worry about except trying to contain your excitement about how FUN and MEMORABLE your wedding is going to be!

My wife and I first met Rich Lange of Remarkable Receptions at a bridal fair standing beside a sign that said "No Cheese". It was funny to us because his booth was right across from another DJ that had brought his whole set up including lights, strobes, and videos. It was a little over the top and made us think of a night club and not the elegant wedding reception we were planning.
Rich explained to us that it was our wedding and he would tailor everything to what we wanted. He would act as the master of ceremony and work with our wedding planner to keep everything moving along at an easy pace while keeping it fun and entertaining.
He did just that.
He met with us twice to plan, each time driving up to Greensboro from the Charlotte area (even once during a gas shortage). Rich helped us research to find the perfect music for both the ceremony and reception and even came up with fun games to play that didn't break the mood or the setting of our event.
Our wedding was a huge success!
Rich Lange is a true Master of Ceremony!

Rich and team surpassed our expectations at every step of the MC/DJ process. His attention to detail, organization, and genuine concern for making our reception personalized and memorable set him apart from our very first meeting. He took the time to get to know us, our wedding party, and our guests in advance. He did not just play the "right" music and let everyone know when cake was being served - he added personal details and anecdotes that gave our guests something to remember. Every single guest I've talked to since has specifically called out Rich as being one of the best DJ/ MC's they'd ever seen at a wedding.

Rich Lange was an INCREDIBLE DJ. He met with us before the wedding at Panera Bread and took notes on everything we wanted and then he executed everything perfectly. He made our day so special by telling our "love story" and by introducing all of our wedding party individually and telling some fun facts about each of them. We also played some very fun games involving myself and husband and even the crowd. He really got the entire crowd engaged and everyone had a spectacular time. I would recommend him over anyone else. He is the one who really made the wedding what it was. I couldn't of imagined the day without him. He was so calm and suave. He really took care to listen to us and make all of our dreams come true! Rich Lange and Remarkable Receptions is the way to go. Remarkable is a bit of an understatement for how awesome he is.

We just got married at the Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, NC. The preferred DJ for the venue was Rich Lange. We decided to go with him since he had good reviews and we didn't know where to start with getting a DJ. Rich's price is discounted through the venue because he doesnot require to meet with him since he just has you fill out a music planner. We decided to have one meeting a month and a half before the wedding and we knew Rich was the only one we felt absolutely confident about using during our wedding. He was very involved and suggest many great ideas. On the wedding day, Rich was great! He would always walk us through the next events and kept the crowd on their feet. We did a love story and that was one of the highlights of the day. Another was a take on the shoe game where he suggested using a wrench and paint brush to make it more personal. Everyone laughed and he had great questions. Overall, I would use Rich all over again if I could and wish I could give him a higher rating. He was great!!

Rich was incredible! He took the time to get to know us get to know our musical tastes, and really made the extra effort to provide the best experience possible. During the reception he really set the mood beginning at the entrances and throughout the entire time. He really watched the crowd and made sure the music was fitting the tone of the party. He was also excellent at moving the party along. His ability to bring people out on the dance floor during slow times (but not too quickly) and sustain the dancing and party atmosphere were excellent! I would highly recommend Remarkable Receptions to anyone having a wedding reception with a DJ.

Rich was he DJ for my daughter's 9/3/16 wedding, and I cannot brag enough on how AWESOME and WONDERFUL he was! Not only was he very thorough and attentive to our desires/needs, but he was also willing to go above and beyond to make the day even better for my daughter! I HIGHLY recommend him for any DJ/lighting needs! We are still getting constant compliments about him and how professional he was. He viewed the facility several times before the event and met with us multiple times to make sure we had everything planned down to the minute (which is absolutely necessary to make a wedding go on time). Also, he was very interactive with the crowd and got everyone involved by going around and talking to guests/getting to know their personal preferences, etc. He had my daughter and her husband play "the shoe game", as well as told their love story which all the guests thought was a wonderful and personal touch. I honestly can't brag enough about what an amazing experience we had working with him! If you're looking for the best DJ around, look no further!!!!!

This professional knows what he is doing when it comes to wedding receptions. He was thoughtful and methodical. Although it wasn't his fault at all my guests didn't seem to want to dance much. I had a great time dancing and the music he helped us choose was perfect. The reception moved smoothly. He was great with lighting and the photo booth was a major hit. He helped make our wedding a fun and exciting. I am so glad we had Remarkable Receptions with us to help make our day so special.

Rich was fantastic!! We went in with no clue or ideas of what we wanted played - just what we didn't!! (No Macarena!) and he made the day perfect! There's a great DJ planner checklist to help curtail the music to what you want played. There was tons of dancing and the photobooth is a must!!! The night was over way too fast!!

DJ Rich executed our ceremony and reception to perfection! He was AMAZING!!!!!!!! The music, the lighting, the environment was perfect! He was able to keep our crowd entertained and dancing all night long. We are very happy with his performance and would highly recomend him to anyone!

I met Rich at the wedding expo in Charlotte, NC a little over a year before mt wedding. We had met multiple vendors who had photobooths, but Rich just stood out. He was the only one who was also a DJ. He was wonderful to work with and just so fun. We had so many compliments on what a great DJ he was and how he interacted with the guests and kept everyone involved. There were many DJ's in our area we could have chosen, but we went with Rich even though he wasn't local. He drove from Huntersville to Hickory without any problems and I would recommend him to any one getting married!
( If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would.)

Mr. Lange was an phenomenal person to work with. At the first meeting, he went over a rough walk through and had the whole reception organized. He kept in touch throughout the planning of the wedding and met us at our own time to do a walkthrough for the wedding. The biggest thing that I was impressed was the quality of sound. We had an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. He kept the music at the perfect level that didn't overpower the ceremony but kept it flowing good. The reception dance music was at a good level where people could dance, but people at tables could hear each other talk. I've been to several weddings in the past where a dj has made the event horrible, but Mr. Lange made ours perfect.

DJ Rich was our EVERYTHING at our Wedding this past August 1 2015. Our families were blown away by the entertainment, decor, and ambiance that Rich created for us. We met him and his wife at the Bridal Convention Center in Charlotte around a year before our wedding. We met with him on several occasions because we really wanted to make our wedding unique and special not only for us but for our guests as well. He was our Master of Ceremonies which allowed my husband and I to really enjoy ourselves and the time with our friends and family. He made the room magical from the music, to the up-lighting, to the Photo-booth, to the special "love story of Paul and I" that he shared with our guests. He also did a sweet "roasting" of our wedding party which made for a humorous yet memorable topic of the night. We had our guests play games to win prizes and even had special dances that allowed everyone to be involved. He knows how to throw a party because our families were dancing all night long! DJ Rich went over the top for us and was professional and such a great person to us. He took our vision and made it more than we could have ever imagined. He will be a lifelong friend to us and we appreciate all the hard work he put into our wedding! It was the best day of my life!

My husband and I had the BEST experience with Rich Lang and Remarkable Receptions. We got married in early June and are STILL receiving compliments from our guests regarding our DJ! Rich took time to meet with us prior to the wedding to get a feel for us as a couple and what kind of atmosphere we wanted at our reception. We filled out a “DJ Planner” that went through our entire reception schedule and helped us decide what type of music we wanted to hear from dinner, to cake cutting, to the bouquet toss, all the way up to the last dance. He offered wonderful suggestions and tips to help us organize our reception so it ran smoothly! Growing up dancing, and having a lot of dancers as guests, I knew I wanted a lot of fun dance music at our reception. To say that Rich created the perfect playlist for our wedding is an understatement. Some of our guests forgot to eat cake they were having such a great time on the dance floor, and no one was ready to leave when the wedding was over!!! Rich was a fantastic DJ! He was professional, prompt, and had a great attitude! The mix of music he played was great! Everyone, young and old, was dancing at some point during the evening. He even remembered to make specific announcements about our guest book and made a shout out to my late Opa when we were cutting the cake. I would definitely recommend him for an event and would use his services in the future!

There was no doubt in our minds that when we got married we were going to use DJ Rich and Remarkable Receptions for our wedding reception! We had attended our friends wedding previously and stayed on the dance floor all night long and had such an amazing night so we, or course, wanted the same for our wedding and guests. My husband and I received so many compliments from guests at our wedding & the fun they had with the photobooth provided by Remarkable Receptions. Our package included props, unlimited use of the photobooth for the entire duration of the receptions, two copies of photostrips: one for the guests to take with them & one for our photobooth album where guests could post a copy of their photobooth strip and write a message - we were able to leave the reception with our photobooth album which made for hilariousness the morning after the wedding as we flipped through and saw all of our guests' photos! I was so thrilled with Rich & Lisa's work and providing a photobooth for our wedding reception!

My husband and I were very pleased with Rich and Remarkable Receptions. Rich was great during the planning process. We instantly trusted him and hired him without meeting with any other DJs. His price was very competitive, and he really made us feel like he was there to give us the wedding we wanted. I've been to a few weddings where the DJ is overwhelming and steals the show. Rich was more like a guide for our wedding reception. He played the songs we requested and avoided the genres we did not want. His emceeing was perfect, too. He was commanding enough that the guests listened to him, but not overpowering that it felt like he commandeered our wedding. We had people dancing all night long and he kept the mood flowing in the right direction. We also used him for our photo booth - his prices again were very reasonable. We had a printing issue and so he sent us prints of all the pics after the wedding to make up for it. Very, very happy with Rich and I would recommend him to anyone.

We cannot thank Rich, our DJ, enough for all that he did! From the very beginning he was professional and helped us through the whole process for our reception songs and dances! He went above and beyond to create a special mix playlist for my husband to dance to with his mom. He helped me with some of the song choices and smaller details that needed to be decided on. All of our guests raved (and are still raving) about how great he was and how much fun they were having! He knew just the right songs to play in order to have all of our guests, young and old, on the dance floor dancing the night away. We are so thankful that we chose Rich as our DJ! We highly recommend him as your DJ for your wedding or next event!

DJ Rich was one of the best part of our wedding! I had no idea what to expect from him, but he definitely blew it out of the park. He played every song we requested and the songs he added was perfect. He has a great personality and voice. The wedding reception entrance was lively and fun. We played a game at our wedding and he did a great job being the game host just like the people on tv shows! At the end of our wedding, he played our Last song "Treasure" by Bruno Mars and invited all the guests to get in a circle and dance around us. We never requested that , but that was one of my favorite part of the wedding. It was so special and symbolic! Thank you Rich for such an outstanding job! I already have people asking for your contact info for their own events!
He also has a very high tech and fun photo booth that I'm sure our guests LOVED! You can always tell by the pictures you see the next day in your own take home photo book!

Rich spent so much time before our wedding getting to know us and our musical preferences, I knew he would create a reception that reflected our personalities. When the day arrived, I was confident we were in good hands and that was one thing I didn't have to worry about! He was the perfect host and kept all our guests engaged and having fun. Great DJ. Rich was so helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, and that carred through to the event. He found ways to really make the reception unique to us. I was so happy with the music and the party! We had people still dancing up to the last second. He played a great variety of music while keeping all the requests and my style in mind. It was great! Rich is also a great host and MC. He did all of the announcing when the toasts, cutting of the cake, and when the dances were going to be started, and kept all my guests involved. The Uplighting was really nice. I highly recommend. Definitely top notch!

Rich did an amazing job, the dance floor was busy all night, and he was able to adjust on the fly when we asked him for a genre change - we needed a little Salsa! Overall, we were more than pleased with our event and his professionalism, we haven't had one guest say anything short of "awesome" when it came to the music/reception.

Rich made our reception so special with how he introduced each bridal party member and told our love story. All of our guests loved hearing our story as not everyone knew both of us or how we began. The bridal party loved their intros and it made them feel special. He even talked me into a game which our guests enjoyed and had some good laughs at!

DJ Rich was great with his communication leading up to the wedding, always was available and had such creative ideas for the reception however, I have a story I would like to share. Picture yourself, a bride and groom, you want to party, chill and "get down" with your friends. You don't want to worry about anything... you just want to sit back and bask in your new life together and in the work you did planning this big day for the past year. The very first job your DJ has is to play a "surprise song" for your exit from the ceremony as newly Mr. & Mrs. So during closing prayer as your officiant is wrapping things up, you hear this song start in the background for just a second, you freak out since you were so excited about this secret that was going to be so awesome but you know things happen when then... it happens again, the song starts again... while you are still praying. So as you walk up the aisle, you let it go, once again ok things happen. Then as you are taking pictures and all your guests are at cocktail hour, you notice no music is playing... you send your bridesmaid to go ask the DJ why no music was playing (you spend hours on hang picking songs you wanted played to warm up your guests for the perfect party) the DJ tells the bridesmaid he is moving the speakers inside. That was never the plan, the plan we always talked about was for the speakers to be somewhere were the guests could hear music, that's all I know. Then he asks you to fill out 6 pages of different questions to get to know your musical type and what would work best for your event... one set of questions in particular were top 25 songs that MUST be played no matter what, you would think if someone asks this question they would make sure these songs would be played, correct? I went back and counted and I didn't even get 1/2 of that list played at my wedding. Very disappointing, I really liked DJ Rich however, it did seem he was just ill prepared for my event.
