LOVED Leslie!! She was so patient and kind during the whole process and everyone loved her work. After our ceremony she was right on time for touch ups, I didn’t even have to look for her! I actually was so caught up in the ceremony, I forgot she’d be there! I will def use her in the future for any special events! -

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Leslie is! I was unintentionally a last minute bride and she was so flexible. I'm also not a big make up wearer at all and she knew exactly how to get me ready for my big day. She also provided make up for my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law and they couldn't stop talking about how great she was. I cannot recommend enough Leslie! -

Hire her ASAP
Leslie is amazing! She's easy going, professional and truly talented. She did my make up plus 6 bridesmaids and 2 moms. She kept to her timeline and made sure everyone was looking their best. Leslie was amazing! She did the make up for myself and bridesmaids on my wedding as well as making time to do a trial with me before the wedding and do the make up for my engagement photos as well. She was a pleasure to work with and really understood the overall feel of the wedding and the look I was going for. She is a lovely a calm presence to have around while getting ready for the big day and she really knows her stuff! Everyone looked so natural and beautiful! -

Best makeup artist/yoga instructor EVER
Leslie did an absolutely stunning job on each lady in my wedding group. I knew from our trial that I'd love my look and I did! Leslie is easy-going, flexible, fun. I was so grateful for her calm energy on that crazy day.
Bonus: I hired Leslie to lead a group yoga class the morning of the wedding. To my delight, family and friends of all ages participated. Everyone raved about it for days. -

Leslie was DYNAMITE and an absolute ROCKSTAR. She was incredibly responsive in all communications and made our entire group look to die for. I did a trial with her and when I wanted to change my look day of, she pulled it off like a champ from a small selection of pinterest pictures. She had amazing time management and we even were a little ahead of schedule. She was super fun the morning of and just added to the happiness of the room. I have never looked as good (and I will likely never look that good again) as I did when she did my makeup. Would hire her again in a heartbeat. -

I cannot recommend Leslie highly enough. Not only is she a gifted artist, but she is thoughtful, flexible, uses high quality products, and super friendly. I first encountered Leslie at my sister’s wedding in Annapolis where she did make up for 8 of us. She was an instant hit and I knew that when my wedding rolled around this November, we would hire her again.
Leslie takes time to explain her products and what she’s doing. For instance, instead of pushing airbrush on me (as, in my experience, some makeup artists do) she took the time to explain when it is appropriate skin-wise and weather-wise, and ultimately recommended we didn’t use it in our situation.
She is flexible. She did my sister’s wedding in Annapolis, MD but was happy to travel down to Washington, DC for mine. She came to me for every trial with no travel fee. I’m a fairly indecisive person, plus I’m knit-picky and I don’t use makeup often, so it’s safe to say I am a difficult client. Yet Leslie was so accommodating; she would try out different makeup and then take it off to show me different options. She even travelled to DC for me for multiple trials to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with my look. I was so grateful for her patience with me.
She also made the day-of a breeze. She expressed no problem with arriving super early (6am -- sorry Leslie) and paced herself perfectly throughout the morning. She did 8 ladies at both my sister’s wedding and my own and both times executed the timing without a hitch. The girls were able to Venmo her which made it easy to coordinate payment.
She uses only the best quality products; the materialistic side of me loved all the designer brands she pulled out :) Also, one of my bridesmaids was having a rash on her face due to an allergic reaction to food she had eaten the night before. Leslie was able to use hypoallergenic makeup to cover up the evidence and you couldn’t even tell once she worked her magic. I don’t like a lot of makeup myself and she was understanding about this, using just the right amount to make me glow but still feel like myself. Also, my fiancé tends to break out under stress, and she offered to be ready to do some emergency (shall we say, “manly”?) makeup for him if we needed to (luckily, we didn’t).
Finally, it must be said that Leslie is simply a delightful human being. She is so, so sweet and caring, and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She just a fun person to be around and is easy to talk to. It was just plain fun having her around while all the girls were getting dolled up. My mom loved her so much she wants to invite her over to for a makeup lesson!
All in all, hiring Leslie will be one of the best decisions you make, and one you won’t need to second guess. -

Leslie is not only a talented makeup artist, but she is a calming and fun presence on a typically very stressful day. I hired her to do makeup for myself, my six bridesmaids, and my mother, and every single bridal party member raved about their experience with her (and looked gorgeous on our big day!).
The thing that I loved the most about working with Leslie is that she made us all look like ourselves, but better. Each bridesmaid got to choose their own look, with many looking to Leslie for her expertise in choosing what might work best for them. Each woman looked radiant, and could enjoy the day knowing that they looked their very best. I also loved that my makeup lasted the entire day and throughout the reception, which was definitely something I was worried about.
Leslie is incredibly professional and responsive, and showed up early for our big day. I loved spending the day with her, and felt like she matched the energy of our group and seemed to genuinely be excited to spend time with us. I can honestly say that she was one of the best vendor decisions I made for my wedding, and I would highly recommend her to any bride wanting to look and feel her best on her big day. -

Absolutely wonderful!
Leslie is absolutely wonderful!! She has a real knack for this. She made my whole wedding party look beautiful, while making us feel comfortable and relaxed! I’ve actually had both bridal and bridesmaid makeup from leslie, because one of my bridesmaids liked her makeup so much that she used leslie for her wedding too! Both of my experiences were great! I would definitely recommend Leslie to everyone! -

I first met Leslie when I was engaged and researching MUAs for my wedding. After our trial, I knew she was the one! Leslie isn’t only talented, she is wonderful to work with too. I’ve had so many people ask me who did my makeup on my wedding day. Since then, I’ve continued to use Leslie for various events in my life, including my baby shower this weekend! -
