Phenomenal Photographer

I regularly need high quality content from large local events that I put on. Well, you need to look no further than Reese! She's one of the best photographers I've ever worked with. Best Wedding Decision

Reese was our best wedding decision. My now husband and I live in Los Angeles, and I was looking high and low for a photographer that I felt connected to. I prefer not to be in front of the camera, so it was really important and necessary for me to find someone who saw the bigger picture and could bring the energy to life. When Reese and I first spoke, I told her that I wanted to be able to look back at my pictures and relive the feeling of the moments captured. She took note of the things that were important to me and made them a priority. She and her assistant were very efficient working both together and separate the day of and leading up to it as well. She took the initiative of seeing our property before the wedding day to ensure she was prepared in where we were going to shoot etc. Her demeanor was calm, super approachable and just so lovely. Not only do I have memories to last a lifetime, but I also feel like I have a new friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

My husband Buck and I originally hired Reese to shoot our wedding on Sunday October 10th 2017. Unfortunately that was also the weekend hurricane Irma was making her way up the coast towards Charleston. We ended up moving all of our events forward by a day, and swapping around venues, to make the welcome party and actual wedding happen.

Reese was incredibly accommodating, organizing herself and her second shooters in such a way as to make sure we had full coverage for both events. We were so impressed with her professional attitude and the genuine care she showed in wanting to help us salvaged as much as possible from our wedding weekend. We ended up having a great shoot for both days. Reese was a tireless professional, always working and directing our guests with a smile. And she really knows this city and how to get the best shots out of it. Her photos came out amazingly, I’m so happy I picker her to be our photographer.

Everything was executed perfectly, you would never have guessed we might all be hours away from a mandatory evacuation! I’m genuinely grateful for Reese and her team for accommodating us under such stressful circumstances. If you pick Reese to shoot your event, trust me when I say, you’re in good hands!

Thank you Reese for being so awesome and for giving Buck and I these wonderful memories of our wedding.

We haven't even had time to receive the final wedding portfolio yet, but I am too thrilled with Reese and her assistant Nick to wait to post a stellar review. When first researching photographers, I was impressed with the online photos at Reese Moore weddings, and even further impressed that Reese had earned a master's in photography from Notre Dame. Then, later, I found out she was a photographer for CofC (my alma mater) events. From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, Reese was wonderful, listening to what we wanted, sharing her insight and experience with us, and then capturing the entire day in such a beautiful way. Prior the the wedding, Reese handled a photo shoot with the bride and bridesmaids, while her assistant Nick took pictures of the groom and groomsmen at another location. Next, the two handled pictures together, both candid and formal at the church; then, Nick rode the limobus with the bridal party, while Reese went straight to the reception. Their flexibility and willingness to capture every aspect of the wedding was very reassuring and rewarding. Also, their ability to handle the wedding party and guests so expertly and graciously as they chronicled our daughter's wedding day was exemplary. Reese was recommended to me by another photographer who wasn't available on my wedding day and I'm so happy it worked out that way! My wedding wouldn't have been the same without Reese and her second shooter, Nick. From engagement pictures to editing, she was absolutely amazing every step of the way! She answered any questions/concerns I had leading up to the wedding and made sure we got all of the shots I wanted (and some I didn't even know I wanted) throughout the day. We are so happy that we selected Reese to be our photographer. The quality of her shots on our vendor's site, along with the great value she offers for her services, led us to choose her. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were so much fun to have around, and they captured the event perfectly. She set up an online site with some favorites that we could share with friends and family and shipped a flash drive with everything she shot. We highly recommend her!

We were fortunate to have Reese from Reese Moore Photography capture our special day on film and we couldn't be happier!! I first met Reese at one of my best friend's weddings a few years ago. I remembered she was so friendly and down-to-earth. My wedding coordinator had her on the top of his list of vendors, and when I met Reese, I knew it was the right choice! On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were on time and fun to work with. She didn't judge any goofy requests and went with the flow! She is innovative and tailored shots and poses for my husband and me that didn't feel fake or cliche. I can't wait to see how the photos turned out! Knowing her portfolio, they'll be amazing.

From start to finish Reese was the ultimate professional and was always quick to respond to my questions. My now husband and I are from Washington, DC and were married in Charleston, SC. Reese took care of us and helped us get a number of photos with family before the wedding so we could enjoy the cocktail hour. Reese was awesome to work with! She shot the wedding for a good friend of mine and came highly recommended. She was easy to work with and laid back, yet extremely professional. She takes amazing pictures... posing for pictures is not something that is always comfortable to do, but she makes you feel at ease and it shows in the pictures she takes. She also takes great candid photos. I didn't even remember seeing her on the dance floor but she and her assistant took so many great pictures of people dancing and captured all the important moments of the day.
We were so happy with the pictures she took and the slideshow she put together. I would absolutely recommend Reese to any bride and groom!

Our wedding planner recommended Reese because we were looking for a photographer who could take beautiful real-life pictures and not pictures that had hours of editing. I was so blessed to find Reese. We first worked together for my bridal shoot, and it was so much fun! She had me laughing the entire time, and took my favorite picture I've ever had taken during that shoot. Our engagement shoots were interesting due to Charleston weather, but the pictures are priceless. We had so much fun, my husband actually wanted to do more shoots with Reese! She always has a second photographer to help catch those candid moments. She rocked our posed wedding pictures like a boss, kept everything on time, and does great with directing you. She's quick with communication, always on time and prepared, forgiving when you are not on time :o), and very dependable. I have no "I wish I had this picture, or I wish we had this pose" regrets because her and her team just got it. After the wedding she had our picture thumb drive delivered in a cute little package on our exact 1 month anniversary, just as promised. Loved, loved, loved working with Reese!

I cannot say enough good things about Reese! As I am now in late 20's, every weekend is spent either celebrating engagements or attending weddings. Everyone I know is getting married and I have yet to meet a photographer like Reese, someone who is genuinely excited to be apart of your special day. When planning a wedding, you do not realize how much time you will spend with your photographers. From the moment Reese arrived at the apartment, Reese was upbeat, easy to work with, and always went with the flow (even when we asked her to drive us to the ceremony location!) Throughout the night, Reese captured all the action! (Oddly enough, we never noticed her on the dance floor, yet we have a ton of dancing pictures. She's THAT good!) When we received our picture slide show a month later, we were beyond excited to relive every memorable moment. The pictures were AMAZING. Three months later, our families, friends, and even strangers are still commenting on the pictures! Reese did an unbelievable job capturing all the love, laughter, and joy. Looking back, I am so thankful to have had Reese by my side through it all! Not only is Reese a talented photographer, but she always goes the extra mile.
BONUS: Since Reese took over 1,000 pictures, we had unbelievable shots of all our guests. We were able to make our wedding photos into personalized Thank You post cards for everyone who celebrated with us! Thank you Reese!!

Bill and I cannot thank Reese enough for beautifully capturing our wedding day. Reese had gone to the same college as my husband and he saw many of her photos on Facebook. It was actually Bill who pointed her out to me and thought we should consider her for our wedding. (Something he is very proud of!)
We spoke with Reese by phone and then met up with her for drinks the next time she was in Chicago (she was not on business, so she did not have to meet us!). We decided that our personalities and styles fit and I just loved all of her photos I saw. I wanted to have a mix of fun, formal and elegant and I am so happy with the variety she provided us! Bill does NOT like having his photo taken, but Reese made us both feel so comfortable - we had a great time laughing and enjoying our perfect day & it shows in our pictures!
Reese also knew when and where to take control over a situation. We did run into some prickly people throughout the day, but she handled everything professionally and got the job done – specifically with a small amount of time, our large number of extended family photos, and someone in her ear telling her she had 3 minutes before we had to leave the church!
We flew Reese and her assistant, Nick, into Chicago for the wedding (they were very flexible with dates/times/airlines) and they both joined us & photographed our rehearsal dinner. We corresponded several times before the wedding on shot lists, how to use our time best, what styles of photos I liked, etc. She was very helpful and spent some time scouting out the areas to make sure we had the best lighting, color, etc. Also, unlike some of our friends, we had our complete set of edited photos back to us within about 5-6 weeks of our wedding!!!
We definitely recommend Reese and would be more than happy to talk to anyone about our experience!

I was so nervous about choosing a photographer... I searched so many photographers in the Charleston area. I talked to a few - and they all told me how it would be done. Reese took the time to ask about us, get to know us and ask what we wanted out of our wedding photography. She was quick to reply to email/phone calls and super friendly from the very beginning. Also very professional with getting us our contract quickly and flexible with changes along the way. Reese did an amazing job capturing every little detail on our wedding day - she went through our shot list efficiently which helped out so much! My husband and I both cried viewing our wedding photos - it wasn't just posed pictures (those were amazing too) but there were also the most wonderful candid moments captured on film... and they were brilliant!!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Reese - highly recommend her! In fact, I'm sure we will be asking her for more photography in the future - she's the best!

Reese was everything that I wanted in a photographer! We opted to have a second photographer with her and I do not regret it one bit! Reese was with myself and the bridesmaids getting ready and the second shooter was with the gentlemen getting ready. Reese started taking pictures right away when she arrived at our room. My husband said that he didn't even have to point things out to the photographer with them and is really excited to see the pictures from his room. I did a first look with my father and my husband. How they each were set up was different, but special, and caught really neat perspectives of Charleston. Reese was so flexible when guests asked her to take pictures. If we were getting pictures with guests, she got a professional picture at the same time. I would strongly recommend Reese to anyone! She made me feel completely comfortable and I cannot wait to see what she captured!

Reese Moore provided the most amazing, stunning, and beautiful photographs of our wedding and we could not be any happier!!! Reese had photographed a few of my friend's weddings so I had already seen some of her gorgeous work, but it was even better experiencing her talent first hand as one of her brides. She is an absolute expert who knows exactly what shots need to be taken to capture your day. If it wasn't for Reese I don't know how I'd remember all of the great details from our wedding not to mention there is so much going on for the bride and groom we NEEDED these great pictures to show us how much fun all our friends and family had too! We also used Reese for our engagement pictures which was a great way for us to get comfortable behind the camera and really bond with Reese so she knew us and exactly what we were looking for.

I actually don't think I can say enough great things about working with Reese Moore Photography. Due to come complications, I was a little late in the game contacting Reese in the beginning but she was super accommodating, flexible and responsive. My father-in-law has a lot of interest in photography and image types, and Reese was more than happy to field his questions and address any concerns. Throughout the planning process, she was always willing to give advice based on her experience for things like exit props (we couldnt use sparklers), when we should start the ceremony (we were limited on our light after dark), pros and cons of doing a first look, etc. Through all of the advice giving, she never made it sound like anything but just that. It was her professional opinion but I never felt like I had to do what she said. Truth be told, I never actually met Reese face to face before my wedding day, yet I had such blind faith because I'd seen her incredible work and she had worked with people I knew in the past.

I can't imagine working with someone better on my wedding day. Reese isn't bossy but firm and picks her battles. If the groomsmen holding the beer in this one picture isn't going to be a huge deal because she's got 6 of him not holding it, she's not going to say anything. BUT if Uncle Tom is blocking Aunt Susan, she's going to politely ask that he move in a specific direction. She is clear with directions and really lets your personality shine. She isn't going to ask you to do something that makes you uncomfortable. She thinks about how her every move with affect the bride and groom. She's fun, personal and incredibly talented. She knows how to make large groups cooperate like I've never seen. She's always where the action is, especially when it comes to the reception. She captures the moments you want to remember for the rest of your life. If I would do it all over again, I would!

We are very thankful that Reese was there to photograph our day. By the end of the wedding, we felt like they were guests as we had so much fun with them!
Reese knew what shots to take and made sure to help us get through them as quickly as possible so we could enjoy our day with our family and friends. Reese was recommended to us by our wedding coordinators, along with a few other photographers, but what stood out, on paper, with her was that she works with an assistant. As soon as we met her for the first time, I knew she was the perfect photographer. Reese is genuine and down to earth, fun to work with (very important!!), always professional, and extremely talented.
She captured moments that we are sure to treasure forever, and I never knew she was there (also very important!!)
The turn around time for the pictures was amazingly quick, and all her special touches along the way just goes to show how much she truly appreciates your special day.
As an added bonus, Reese was wiling to photograph us with our two dogs, and that could not have been more special.

My fiance, family and I absolutely loved Reese Moore! Her photographs of our wedding at St. Mary's and our reception at my parents' residence were absolutely stunning. I think she really captured the fun and excitement of our wedding in pictures.

We also loved working with Reese because my dad set a strict rule of only 20 minutes of family photos after the ceremony. And, despite having a huge family with lots of different photos, she was able to get all of the pictures we wanted within the set time frame. Very impressive!

All in all, Reese was a real pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her enough. I have two sisters, and they will definitely be contacting Reese for their wedding photography.

She is really good about giving direction and working with a time frame. She made sure to get any shots I asked for. I was really impressed that she was taking pictures the entire time she was on the job and really captured the event.

I had the incredible fortune of having Reese shoot my wedding day - her team is truely gifted with capturing the most intimate moments. Always a pleasure to work with and very candid - she really gave me a personal touch making us very comfortable which translates into beautiful photos.
I can't imagine leaving my wedding day memories to anyone else. I had seen her work from her website and fell in love with her style. Her taste is impeccable. If you are looking for timeless photos that tell the story of your special day in a very personal way, she is your only choice.
I just wish I had a mantle big enough to hold all the moments I want to share that she has given to me. They are all so priceless...

Working with Reese and her assistant was, in a word, fantastic. I found Reese b/c she photographed a friend's wedding we attended and I was impressed at all the great dance floor pictures, but couldn't' remember seeing a photographer so there were great action shots (and less posing)!

Throughout the entire process Reese was fun, professional and always responsive. Her style is straightforward and she always seems to capture the moments you hope you'll remember from that day.

I also really liked working with Reese because she seemed invested in the wedding too. You spend all this time planning and thinking about your wedding, but vendors do it for a living. Working with Reese felt a lot more personal than just another professional in the biz. You'd be surprised how much that will mean to you the day of.

You spend a lot of time with your photographer that day and Reese was an awesome addition to our wedding!

It is rare that someone is so perfectly suited for what they do. But, Reese Moore of Reese Moore Photography has definitely followed her calling. She is is a gem and a pleasure to work with. But, most importantly, she is a gifted photographer who is able to capture the emotion within the moment.

And while you may not notice her floating about (a plus in my book, since no one likes an intrusive photographer), she captures EVERYTHING.

And her turnaround of photos was impossibly fast! I had barely gotten back into my post-wedding/honeymoon routine before she'd completed them.

Reese's photography will enable me and my new husband to relive our wedding day over and over again!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Reese captured the feeling of our whole day from start to finish. We loved working with Reese! She was very friendly and responsive. We first met her through Skype and she was very willing to work out a schedule to talk with us when we were living in a very different time zone. She answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. We loved her style and her photography packages were pretty affordable for the quality she produces. We loved that we could get the CD with all of our pictures. We were also happy to get our photos pretty soon after our wedding- within a month of the wedding!

On the wedding day itself, she was very flexible, professional, and calming. She got the shots I wanted without my having to give her a list of the important shots I wanted- I totally forgot to get them over to her! But she didn't need the list, she has a lot of experience with weddings and knows what to get! We're very happy that we booked her!

Reese was wonderful! From our very first meeting, she was professional, attentive, and so sweet! I ended up hiring her to shoot the making of my dress and our rehearsal dinner. Our photos were great! We feel so lucky to have found Reese. Our families loved her and she was there at every moment, she fit right in.

Reese Moore has a beautiful talent in bringing so much emotion into her work. She photographed our special day in 2009, and since then has been the photographer for five of our friends' weddings. Three years later, we still have people ask about our photographer! Not only is Reese an amazing photographer, but her personality allows brides to be at ease on their day and know every memory will be captured perfectly!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Reese! From the moment I met her all the way up until I received my photos, she was professional, relaxed, and fun! She photographed our engagement session, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day! As a bride, I had some sticker shock when I first started shopping for photographers. A friend recommended Reese, and it was the easiest and best decision we made regarding vendors for the wedding. We received our wedding pictures from Reese a couple weeks ago, and we absolutely love ALL of them. We have no clue how we will EVER decide which pictures to print, because they are all so wonderful. Her pictures truly allow us to relive the magic of the day, and everyone looks so great in them! She was also far less expensive than other photographers we considered. She gives you the rights to all of your pictures, which is something that was really important to me. I highly recommend that anyone getting married in Charleston or the surrounding area hire Reese Moore. You will be so happy you did, and it will be the best money you spend that day!

Reese is an ideal wedding photographer. Apart from her beautiful photographs, which I'll discuss further in a moment, her flexibility and overall great attitude and personality makes working with her smooth and easy. She is always quick to communicate and happy to accommodate the wishes of her clients. Additionally, we received our photographs very quickly, along with an online slideshow "teaser" mere days after the wedding.

Of course, the most important quality a photographer must bring to the table is beautiful photographs. Because of Reese's easygoing attitude, I felt so incredibly comfortable posing for pictures on my wedding day- I've never been much of a "model," and had worried that I would look stiff and unnatural in pictures. Reese made me laugh, made me feel comfortable, and put me completely at ease with my photos. Every shot of my wedding is natural, and the energy and joy of the wedding day is present in every photo. My wedding photos are truly I treasure that I will cherish for the rest of my life, and Reese Moore Wedding Photography is the reason why. I recommend Reese and her services with highest marks. You won't be disappointed.

Reese was AWESOME! She has an amazing undeniable talent, but that coupled with her professionalism, flexibility, and value makes her top of the list. She captured the BIG moments to the simplest intricacies; most importantly she was able to capture the emotions. My husband and I are from Kentucky but knew that we wanted Charleston to be the site of our destination wedding. We planned everything through recommendations from our wedding planner and we could not have asked for a better experiance with Reese. She was easy to communicate with and was flexible enough to change the date for the whole wedding. Our beach wedding may have been rained on but Reese took advantage of the surroundings and turned them into pictures that I could not have dreamed of. She took us through the streets to get the shots that we wanted and the got them quickly back to us, which every bride can appreciate. I loved that she asked us for pictures that we wanted to have. I will cherish our wedding photos forever! I hope some day I can get her to shoot us again!

When we were looking for a wedding photographer, my brother recommended Reese Moore, and I'm so glad he did! Her rates were not nearly as expensive as what the other photographers in Charleston were charging, and the pictures looked amazing! I like that she gave us DVDs that had every picture in color and in black and white, and she also put a slideshow of our pictures on YouTube, which was really cool. Some of the photos she took of us ended up in Charleston magazine and the Bonny Bridal blog, and one of the photos she took of me was the best picture that has ever been taken of me (and I doubt anyone will ever take a better one)...I liked it so much that when I published my book, I used that photo as my author photo! I would definitely recommend Reese...she was fun to be around, took incredible photos of us, and was very affordable!

Reese and her assistant David were absolutely the bee's knees! Their professional attitude and propencity towards FUN resulted in the most awesome photos for our wedding. So much so that Reese was able to have them featured on www.borrowedandblue.com just search for Sara and Graham and see for yourself! Reese was great! We got so many good pictures from her. She gave us all of our pictures in black and white and color with the rights, so we can have any many as we want without having to buy the pictures from her. She will also print out professional pictures for us, which we are going to take advantage of. I thought she was extremely reasonably priced especially for the quality of the pictures we received. She was great, and I would definitely recommend her!!

Reese Moore Weddings is amazing!!!

To give a back story, I initially had another photographer for my wedding who cancelled on me less than 24 hours before the wedding. Needless to say, I was frantic but Reese came to the rescue! I was SO lucky as I was told that my wedding day was her only available day in September.

And Reese did not disappoint! Both she and her assistant were there promptly and with a smile on. They were professional, creative, friendly, easy going and inconspicuous in their candid photo taking. Also, Reese has been very responsive and detailed in all of our correspondence.

I am thrilled with the moments that Reese Moore Weddings captured of my wedding day and I am so lucky that things worked out the way they did. I could not have had a better photographer. Her team got all of the wedding day memories and also a lot that I missed in the midst of all of the excitement.

I would highly recommend Reese for anyone looking for photographer. My only regret was that I hadn't met Reese from the beginning of my wedding planning! She has such a creative eye and is truly gifted!

Reese was wonderful to work with! She is a courteous, observant, and laid-back photographer. She's got an eye for great candid shots as well as beautiful posed photos - and her online slideshows are really wonderfully done. Her style is very "go-with-the-flow" and not over-lit, over-worked photography, which makes working with her on your wedding day not only easy and comfortable, but lots of fun! It's helpful that she is a lovely, responsible, respectful, kind, and happy person, but those are simply the great perks that come with her beautiful photography.

Reese Moore Photography did a wonderful job for our wedding. We were extremely happy with all of the pictures from the event. The price was really reasonable, especially considering we had two photographers (Reese and her assistant) for the entire time. Her photos are fun and edgy and the slide show she put together was a wonderful bonus. I would recommend Reese Moore Photography to anyone looking for a photographer!

I absolutely LOVE Reese! She was an absolute amazing photographer and we were so blessed to have had her for both my bridal portraits and also for our wedding day! She spent her entire day with us both for my bridal portraits and also for the wedding day and was sure to capture hundreds of moments! Excellent candid photos and an unbelievable montage set to music. The photographers were unobtrusive and took pictures expeditiously, without a lot of posing and having to wait around. The final product we received exceeded our expectations.

Reese was so good to work with in both getting together for photos and promptness of getting us photos. The quality of her photography was great, we have more great pictures than we can imagine and this makes it extremely hard to select the photos we want to use and print.
