We got married in May 2023 and absolutely loved working with Reedville Catering. Everything from the planning, to the flexibility on the menu, to the presentation and aesthetic - they completely nailed our vision. We didn't want to do a traditional sit-down or buffet dinner and worked with Reedville to do more of a food station, heavy hors d'oeuvres set-up for our cocktail party reception. Every single item they made was seriously delicious, not just 'good' - NW salmon cakes, goat cheese tartlets, teriyaki meatballs for passed apps, and the charcuterie presentation was beautiful. Sweet chili shrimp skewers, thai peanut chicken, asparagus risotto, arugula salad, plus two custom items we asked for: pork belly bao buns and fried chicken sliders. Everything was out of this world. When we asked to do pork belly bao buns, they didn't bat an eye or even ask any questions - and then absolutely nailed it. The amount of food was perfect. They also tended bar for us with 2 signatures and a full bar and everyone was happy and drunk the whole evening :) The team was super friendly and professional, and Jessica's responsiveness was lightning fast. We would work with them all over again and highly recommend to anyone. -

Best wedding food ever!
The team at Reedville Catering is above and beyond fantastic! Throughout the planning process, Jessica Gardner would patiently answer all our millions of questions in a timely manner, even during peak wedding season! We started with a simple taco buffet and, over the course of planning, switched to a customized Mexican buffet menu with various changes and food restrictions. Jessica was accommodating throughout the whole process. On the day of our wedding, the food beat even our highest expectations and the staff was incredible. We asked for a private dinner in the groom’s suite and boy did they deliver! They put a bit of everything on those plates. It was like Thanksgiving Feast! They even brought us our special reserved drink from the bar. Everyone was so kind and made our day extra special. -

We had our wedding in January, and had a plated service by Reedville. Up until the wedding, we worked with Jessica, who was very responsive, easy to work with, and informative. The catering team day-of was also amazing! We had servers, a chef, and bartender. When my mom was struggling to finish all the setup of the reception before the wedding, the catering team helped out, putting out all our desserts and setting out glasses we had purchased for the wedding. During the reception, the team started with passing out appetizers, even giving my husband and me a special plate of appetizers at our table. The whole team was so kind, and I had several guests telling me how much they enjoyed chatting with the bartender.
Last but not at all least, the food was amazing! We worked with Jessica and the team to have a main course that was personalized and not on their original catering menu. All the food tasted delicious, and was served beautifully!
Could not have been more happy with our decision to go with Reedville! -

Reedville was a total dream to work with! The food was fantastic — especially the salmon. We got so many compliments. The staff was also incredible. Everyone we worked with from planning to day-of was super friendly, reliable, and on top of it. Would book with them again in a heartbeat. -

Whatever you do, hire them!
Wow! Where to begin! Everything from Reedville was perfect from service to quality of food! Food was our MAIN priority, and man did they deliver. Ask for Cam to be your lead on this. She handled so much for us and made the catering, delivery, and setup a breeze. We are pretty sure we did not lose our minds because she helped us remain calm the entire time, despite being mid pandemic. For appetizers we had the mini sope, salmon cake, and spinach and olive puff pastry. All were a major hit, with the sope and puff pastry definitely the favorites of the night. For dinner we had the pesto chicken, flank steak, cheddar mashed potatoes, brown sugar delicata squash, Oregon hazelnut signature salad and dinner rolls. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We had the chicken mostly for our guests as we don't typically eat it, let me tell you, we would eat their pesto chicken every single night - it is so good! Just about every single guest commented on how amazing the food was that night and the days following. We had several guests tell us they were trying to replicate the dishes at home. The one thing guests remember most at weddings is food, you will wow everyone and not regret booking with Reedville and especially with Cam!! -

I got countless quotes. Reedville was by far the most affordable and responsive. I’m so glad they were able to cater my wedding. Cam was awesome. She was just so easy to talk with and knew her stuff. They were flexible with everything and the food was delicious. The salmon and pesto chicken was a hit! They gave us the option to bring our stuff ( napkins, table cloths, beer /wine) but we’re able to provide it if we didn’t. I see why they were on my venues preferred vendors list.
Having a wedding during covid was a bit chaotic but reedville made it a breeze and they took precautions very seriously. Which I appreciated for all of my guests. -

We are very happy we went with Reedville Catering for our wedding! The food was delicious and we wish we would have had more leftovers to enjoy the next day! Throughout the whole experience, Cam and Shannon were easy to work with and were always available to answer questions we had leading up to the wedding day. They were also very flexible when we made changes to the menu. The event staff at the reception were also helpful and friendly and kept everyone well fed. We highly recommend Reedville Catering! -

Reedville Catering provided the perfect catering experience for our wedding day! Cam was our point of contact and she was incredibly responsive and communicated well throughout the entire planning process. Our servers at the wedding were wonderful - the perfect balance of subtle and relaxed while very diligent with clearing tables. They were kind and easy to work with - everything came off without a problem! I'd happily work with and recommend Reedville to anyone in the future :) -

Reedville catered our wedding of 75 people on 7/27/19. We were so happy with everything, start to finish. We worked with Cam and she was fantastic! We weren't sure if we wanted to provide our own alcohol, or have Reedville do it, and Cam was so flexible with us the whole time. She was constantly tweaking little things in their proposal and always promptly answered any questions I had.
The food is so good! I had multiple guest come up to me during the wedding and tell me, unsolicited, how good the food was. It was above and beyond many of our guests expectations of what kind of food they would be served at a wedding. My now husband wanted to order excess food on purpose just so he'd have more leftovers, I cannot emphasize how yummy everything was!
The day of staff of servers and bartenders were all fantastic as well. While taking pictures during our cocktail hour and away from our guests, all of the servers made sure to bring us the hors d'oeuvres and cocktail each which was super appreciated!
Overall I cannot recommend Reedville enough, they were fantastic! -

Having a beach wedding in an out of the way location was a challenge when it came to finding a caterer. Reedville Catering accepted the challenge and provided the most wonderful food and service. The interactions with Cam to coordinate were exceptional, she is very responsive and provided all the information I needed. The staff at the wedding were wonderful, ensuring food was served quickly and everyone had more than enough to eat. We went with the family style option which allowed everyone to eat what they wanted. Even with the addition of a last-minute vegan, they came to the rescue altering the salad to meet her needs. The hors d'oeuvres were not only delicious, but they were beautifully presented. Cam even found a source for vintage sodas, which was exactly what we were looking for. Outstanding in every way! -

Everyone loved the food!
We had a northwest themed menu for a lunchtime reception and everyone had only positive things to say about how delicious the food was! From getting an initial quote through to all of the day-of logistics, Reedville was so easy to work with. Being able to rent linens and dishwares and order a cake all through the one catering service was a definite plus! -

We had multiple guests tell us that Reedville's catering was the best food they ever had at a wedding. They provided great vegetarian options for our vegetarian guests. We continued eating the leftovers long after the wedding--it was all so delicious!! -

The Reedville catering team was very attentive to our needs and were professional and organized during every step of the planning process. Once we came up with our fall inspired menu for the wedding reception, they had us come in to do a tasting. All of the food was wonderful, the few changes we wanted made were easily remedied and the food came out perfect for the wedding. Rachelle came to the venue with me to do a walk through and make sure that our wedding timeline was established. Also, we did our rentals and catering through Reedville. Rachelle came with me to pick out the place settings and linens at the Party Place. This was very helpful as she made great suggestions as to what would work for the space and she made sure that every detail, from the layout to which table linens would go on which tables, was addressed. -

Meredith Sent on 10/13/2015I can't say enough to express my thanks to Reedville Catering! Working with Amy through the planning process was a breeze, even from 3,000 miles away. The menu was perfect and accommodated all of my guests' multifarious food restrictions without making anyone feel like they were eating an afterthought. The day of couldn't have gone more smoothly, either. Set up was taken care of before I knew it, and the meal was absolute perfection. I found out that the chef worked with my dad to pull veggies and herbs from my family's garden to add a special, personal touch. Everyone involved was a pleasure to work with, and I hope I have the opportunity to do so again! All my thanks to everyone who worked so hard and did such a magnificent job for my wedding! -

Booking catering was one of the easier vendors for me. I was planning my wedding from afar but working with Jessica made that so easy. Reedville's team was super responsive. They answered all my menu questions and made all the adjustments I wanted. I was able to travel to Portland prior to my wedding and have a tasting, all the food was amazing. I made some menu changes but I wasn't worried I wasn't having another tasting since I knew anything they made would be delicious. The day of team was amazing. They were super hospitable to myself and my guests. I would recommend Reedville for anyone planning an event in Portland! They were a full catering service so they handled my rentals and bar. It was so nice to have everything funneled through one person. -

We did a classic menu with prime rib, roasted potatoes, veggies. We had starters that included shrimp cocktails for everyone. They were very special. My grandfather who has worked for a glass factory for decades made cocktail glasses just for the shrimp. Handmade.
The food was the best part of the food. I hate to say that communication was a little scary at one point. I know many businesses were going through changes from the pandemic. The lapse in communication just scarred me.
In the end everything turned out great! -

Ryan Sent on 10/05/2017We had a very unique catering situation that I won't fully explain. I spoke with Rachelle and she was very helpful over the phone, kind of slow to responding to emails, but they're busy. There were a few things they put on the contract that she told me over the phone would be different. For example she added a few staff to watch the buffet, and on the contract it said for 12 hours but over the phone she told me it would probably only be about 4 hours. But on the day of the wedding there were 3 extra staff, and they billed us for a total of 17 hours. We also contracted for broccolini and it was broccoli, and it was undercooked. We have actually had multiple people tell us the broccoli and salad were terrible, and we had so much leftover we ended up throwing away so much of it. When I contacted Rachelle about these concerns, they did change our bill and reduced the total price, but it was still more than what we thought we'd be paying. Most of the food was delicious, but we were disappointed with the staff (unfriendly) and some of the food, plus we feel like they kind of tried to pull wool over our eyes. Overall the food was good, but the whole experience has left a sour taste in our mouths. We would not contact Reedville again for catering.
