The Best DJ!
So happy we went with RedShoe for our wedding! We worked with Jonathan (JCR), who was amazing. He was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding in discussing music choices and timing, and offered some really great advice based on his experience with our specific venue, which was so great. He did an amazing job with all of our requests, playing exactly the type of music we were hoping for during our cocktail hour and dinner. For the ceremony, he timed the songs perfectly for our walks down the aisle, and for the party and dancing he read the room and played the BEST music. We got so many compliments on the music and many guests asked who the DJ was. Jonathan was super sweet, and we really appreciated his help and his work! Highly recommend RedShoe and JCR! -

My husband and I just had our wedding last month and we absolutely loved, loved, loved working with Manny from RedShoe! He was everything we were looking for as our wedding DJ. Music was an important aspect of our wedding for us, so we were extra particular when searching for a DJ. Our coordinator from XOXO weddings actually recommended RedShoe! We really loved how RedShoe showcases music mixes from each DJ on their website so we could narrow down which music style we were looking for.
We loved Manny's mixes and happy that we got to work with him. He is very easy to work with, communicative, and has great taste in music! For our wedding day, we informed him what genres of music we were thinking of for each part of the day, and he perfectly compiled separate playlists for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.
He also was a great MC and really helped the whole night flow seamlessly. We highly recommend RedShoe and are so thankful to have worked with Manny! Thank you again, Manny, for your awesome work and making our wedding the best wedding ever! -

RedShoe LA - specifically Manny aka DJ MS-1 was the best DC/emcee!! From the beginning we loved his style. On our get to know you call + planning call Manny was so genuinely happy for us and is really just the sweetest and chillest to work with. He totally caught our vibe for music and for every moment of the day where sound was the make or break, he delivered above and beyond. I wish I had more opportunities to book him, but that's why I'm telling you all to do it for me ;) you are in very good hands with RedShoe LA and more specifically, Manny. Thank you!! -

We had the pleasure of having JCR DJ our wedding recently, and he really brought the house down. In addition to having incredible music knowledge, he had everyone partying it up on the dance floor and set the tone for an unforgettable night. Don't think twice -- RedShoe is the only way to go!

Where to even begin!
JCR is the best DJ ever!!! My wife and I love music and we really believe it sets the mood and the vibe for the entire day. For several years, we've been accumulating random songs that we thought would be a great fit for our wedding.
We had a call with JCR around a month before the wedding to share our timeline and the playlists of songs we've been collecting. He was so excited for us and he made us feel really happy because he genuinely cared about the songs we had and wanted to create the atmosphere that we were going for.
During the actual day on September 2, 2021, JCR somehow was able to make all these songs work really well together and blend them into the most epic playlist for our night. We went for a lot of R&B/hip hop songs but he was able to mix in a lot of BTS as well. It was such a fun night, and all of our guests were on the dance floor at one point or another. We definitely had too much fun.
We can't thank you enough JCR! Thank you for being an amazing and down-to-earth person and DJ! We wouldn't have had such a fun time without you there. :) -

We hired Rob (DJ A-Ko) from Red Shoe to DJ our wedding and he is, simply put, incredible. Rob totally got the vibe we wanted for our music. He didn't bat an eye when we requested the title sequence song from Forrest Gump for our processional and offered insight when we felt stuck in selecting songs for other parts of the event. Rob kept the dance floor moving throughout the night and we had so many guests tell us it was the best music out of any wedding they had been to. We (the bride and groom) have different tastes in music (bride = movie soundtracks/scores/musicals, groom = punk). Rob seamlessly blended our tastes! Not an easy task. He also dealt with pesky parents with poise and patience. Can we be best friends with you now, Rob? -

Rob was absolutely amazing to work with! I had previously told him that our group wasn’t huge dancers but with his playlist the dance floor was always packed! I’ve had several guests tell me they wish they had his playlist because it was just that good. Even before the wedding, Rob always responded in a timely manner to my emails and communicated well. It was a pleasure to work with him and I recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ! -

During the booking process there were some confusions about logistics, but Red Shoe and Manny were quick to respond to our concerns and flexible with what we needed. During our initial planning meeting, Manny picked up our vibe and our taste in music instantly - which was not easy since we have such different tastes in music and cultural backgrounds! At the wedding, Manny was on top of everything, from ceremony to reception, and kept the energy going flawlessly all night long! Manny was pleasant to work with, super easy going, and incredibly professional - we wish we could have more parties just to book him more often! Above and beyond our expectations, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a DJ. -

User2722239 Sent on 08/12/2016We hired Red Shoe's Dominic Sagona (aka DJ Dom) to play at our July wedding and couldn't have been happier. We frankly aren't the most music-savvy people and were sort of overwhelmed trying to give guidance about what we wanted for our reception, which was at lunchtime. We gave Dominic a list of some songs we liked and he did the rest. I had several people comment specifically on the music during the reception saying how great it was.
More than that, Dominic was super nice and easy to work with. We put off music guidance until a few weeks before the wedding because we felt so clueless, and Dominic was totally great about it. And he absolutely bailed us out on the first dance where we just swayed back and forth and did a twirl or two. "Just give me a nod or a wink or whatever when you want to be done, and I'll end it," he said at a pre-planning meeting. He did just that.
