Perfect wedding dj

Cris brought invaluable experience to our wedding and we could not have asked for a better experience working with him. He let us recommend a ton of songs that he incorporated into a custom playlist that included other great wedding songs. He was also very prompt with keeping time at the wedding and moving people along when required. He had a great pulse on the energy of the party and kept people engaged the whole night. Could not recommend Red Velvet DJ enough!!

Cris was hands-down one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding! He made the entire process incredibly easy, accommodating all of our suggestions and going above and beyond to ensure we had the best time.

Right from the beginning we were given access to an app which made planning seamless. We could create Spotify playlists and upload them directly for different parts of the day—ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and everything in between. The app even included a timeline feature to keep everything organized.

What really set Cris apart was his willingness to work our entire event, including the after-party from 10 PM to 1 AM—something no other vendor was willing to do. When we had a last-minute idea to add karaoke to the after-party, Cris came fully prepared with the perfect setup to make it happen!

We can’t recommend Red Velvet DJ enough. If you’re looking for a DJ/MC who will elevate your wedding and make it unforgettable, Cris is the one!

Best Music!

Cris C. with Red Velvet DJ was amazing. We hired him on a recommendation from our wedding planner and we are so glad we chose him. He was so flexible and easy to work with and he even had an app where we could upload our favorite songs to play throughout our reception. Cris kept the party going and was so accommodating day of for last minute changes. Thanks Cris for making our reception a blast!

Best. DJ. Ever.

If you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding, look no further. Cris was PHENOMENAL and I cannot say enough good things about hiring him. Not only is he chill but he’s always looking for ways to help and solves any issues behind the scenes! And the biggest plus is that he kept our dance floor full the ENTIRE night. We had guests say that our wedding was the most fun wedding they’ve been to and they couldn’t believe how many people were dancing. My husband and I absolutely loved everything he played and our guests loved the music throughout the day as well. Do yourself a favor and hire him!

Best DJ experience!!!!

We hired Chris to DJ our New Year’s Eve wedding and we couldn’t have had a better experience! Prior to our wedding day, we met with Chris on a Zoom meeting and we went over our wedding reception timeline and our song requests and playlist. He was very responsive all the way up to our big day. On our wedding day, he even showed up early to ensure he was set up on time for us. He did such a great job with all of the wedding reception announcements, and he followed our timeline to a tee. And as far as the music goes, he totally got the vibe we were going for! Even our guests were raving about how awesome our DJ was! He definitely kept the party going all the way through our New Year’s countdown. Chris was professional, kind and so much fun! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ for any type of event.

Awesome wedding DJ!

Cris was our DJ for our wedding and we loved working with him! He was extremely organized, timely and brought so much experience! Our dance floor was filled all night and we had such a fun time.

Cris also accommodated a last minute request to splice and mash-up our first dance song and it came out exactly like we wanted (all with 48h notice).

I highly recommend Cris for your wedding!

So easy to work with

Red Velvet DJs was amazing! We had 2 phone conferences with Chris prior to the wedding so he can get an idea of what we wanted, and he was totally flexible playing special songs for us and our parents. He sends you a planning guide to make a must play list, a don’t play list, and to pick special songs. We also went with the photo booth package, and that was well worth the money. The photo booth attendant was so nice as well. Thank you for so a memorable evening!

Cris is Outstanding

We absolutely loved working with Cris for our wedding. Beyond being organized, on-time, and communicative, Cris is just an easy going guy who is fun to work with. He even went the extra mile to put together a special mix for our wedding. The sound, music, and vibe were exactly what we were looking for. Cris also provided uplighting and photo booth services as well. These upgrades were worth it, and his equipment was top notch, easy to use, and went off without a hitch. We were unsure about using uplights, but it MADE our venue and Cris had a great setup for uplighting that didn't have a bunch of cords, etc. Finally, Cris is super friendly, and laid back, which allows you to have a stress free wedding. Cris made the wedding about us, not him being the DJ and we appreciated it. We highly recommend him.

We Love DJ Cris!

DJ Cris was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ and he delivered! Before finding Cris, we reached out to multiple DJs who were just unresponsive and had Zoom meetings with others who we knew weren't the right fit. Then, we found DJ Cris and knew we were a match! He is a super nice, normal guy. That might not sound like much of a compliment, but we interviewed DJs who seemed like they were on another planet. We had a Zoom call with Cris and the conversation was effortless. Cris listens, ask questions, responds quickly, offers suggestions, and his professionalism and conscientiousness from our wedding ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner reception to closing the night were more than we could have hoped for, including kicking up the energy level when the crowd seemed to be puttering out. Thank you, Cris, we will recommend you to anyone we run across who is looking for a DJ.

Felt like we were at a real karaoke lounge!

Cris had a great Karaoke system that matched what we would expect at a karaoke bar. He had every song that all of our guests wanted along with a nice projector to put the words on a huge screen that the whole party could clearly read. His speaker system was very good. We would recommend Cris and Red Velvet DJ for anybody looking for a great karaoke party!

Cris was amazing!

Cris is great! He was extremely responsive and helpful in the beginning process. Would highly recommend!

Cris was our DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job! He was so helpful in figuring out our music and for the day of, he did an even better job! He made sure the timeline for the reception went smoothly despite the delays on the venues part. Our guests loved the music he played and he kept everyone dancing all night! Cris was always great with communicating. He was very down to earth and personable, which made it an easy choice. Cris was our DJ for our wedding and he was AMAZING! He stuck to the schedule, was relaxed with any changes that were made, and checked in throughout the night to ensure everything was going as planned. Amazing Experience!

We wanted our reception to be very casual, fun, and relaxed. Chris was instrumental in helping us create a timeline for the flow of the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and we greatly appreciated his experience and guidance in laying everything out. He kept the evening on schedule and was flexible if we wanted to spend more time visiting with guests, etc. His selection of music created the perfect vibe and he promptly played requests from our guests. I cannot tell you how nervous I was to hire someone I didn't know at all to basically control how my evening was going to go, but that all went away once I had my first phone call with Cris!! He is very professional and knows exactly what he's doing. He's very organized and well put together!! Hire Cris Immediately!!!

Like many couples who altered their plans in response to COVID, we ended up completely shifting our wedding plans (including a relocation from Chicago to SoCal) and having a 30 guest wedding in Temecula, CA in April 2021. We found Cris and immediately hit it off - he's SO responsive, friendly, chill, and just a really cool guy. We knew he was the perfect fit to DJ our wedding. The day/night was perfect and Cris did an amazing job keeping us organized and getting everyone on the dance floor. Our venue loved working with him so much that they added him to their recommended vendor list! Cannot recommend Cris & Red Velvet DJ enough!

Excellent DJ!!

Cris is so great at what he does. From the moment I reached out to him he was friendly and eager to work with us. He was super flexible with us as our wedding day timeline changed due to covid restrictions being lifted.
On the day of our wedding he showed up super early, helped keep us on time, played all of our requested songs, and seamlessly made announcements. Also my guests loved his DJ skills on the dance floor!!
I'm so happy that Cris will be DJing for my friend's wedding in July, and I definitely recommend him to anyone getting married.

This review is long overdue! I cannot recommend Red Velvet Dj’s enough. So professional, easy going, calm and collected. All the things you need to make a wedding run smoothly and keep a bride calm as well :) Cris is very communicative and so polite and kind. Everything was perfect. Cris is the man!!

Cris was my absolute favorite vendor to work with! 5 weeks before our wedding, our original DJ cancelled on us due to COVID and by some miracle, Cris was available. Let me tell you, I am so grateful he was! Cris sent over a very detailed template for the flow of the night and went over it with us a couple weeks before the wedding via Zoom. We knew instantly he was going to fit perfectly for us! He checked in with us all throughout the night (whether we were on schedule or not) played the perfect mix for everyone there, did a phenomenal job as an Emcee hitting all of the important moments, and really kicked off the party! The dance floor was packed instantly! He was extremely professional but also such a fun person to just chat with. My husband and I took a picture with him, and he even let me try out the turn table 😁 He also took my special request of mixing 2 songs for the Father/Daughter dance and executed it to perfection.
We are so extremely happy we chose Cris to complete our special day! Thank you times a million Cris. The next day, we already had guests asking how we found such an awesome DJ!

The absolute BEST

Cris is the PERFECT addition to your wedding day. We could not have been happier with the experience we had with Cris (and his sweet father) on our wedding day. From the original consult, to the unfortunate postponement (when he STILL offered to come back to IL and absolutely kill it at his job), to the big day - we are truly amazed with the talents that Cris has in the wedding entertainment realm. Cris really does feel the crowd and plays your requests while making sure to leave his touch on them. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour and the reception, Cris did not skip a beat. We paid the extra to rent his photobooth as well - and LET ME TELL YOU, our families and friends could not get enough of it. Well worth it and so well maintained by Cris. We loved that he provided a USB at the end of the night for us to look at (and laugh at) all of the photos taken during the night.

He is so incredibly good at his job while remaining professional and personable. He made sure to always be responsive and answered any questions I had, as well as really helping keep us on a good schedule throughout the night. California is lucky to have him and his talents! We would recommend Cris to every single person needing entertainment for their wedding!

Botonical Garden Wedding

We LOVED Cris at Red Velvet DJ! He was incredibly accommodating and by far the most helpful out of all the vendors we hired for our wedding. His response time was great when we contacted him with questions which made us feel like he really appreciated us as clients. His level of experience also put our minds at ease, something very important on your big day!
The price was fabulous so we really feel like we got the best bang for our buck considering the great service we received. Cris was recommended to us by one of his former clients, and we recommended him on to a couple we know who is getting married soon and will now be using Cris as well! I think this speaks for itself.

Oustanding DJ made our night

It was such a pleasure to work with Cris. Looking back on our wedding, with all of the moving pieces, Cris was someone we counted on for the sound at the ceremony, dinner music, and dancing and he delivered! It was seamless. Above all, Cris is a DJ. Not one of those hoaky wedding DJs--- he is an artist and is impressive. Having a DJ of his caliber will make a difference!

We hosted less than 45 people due to the pandemic. The ceremony was in a boathouse on the beach and the reception was up the hill. Cris set up a really strong sound system for the ceremony, and played the music we asked for and it was perfectly timed for the processional and recessional.

After the cocktail reception Cris was already ready to go up in the hill for introductions and toasts. He worked closely with us on the sequence of events for the reception, gave us suggestions based on his experience, and everything went just as we envisioned.

As far as a DJ, we gave Cris a bunch of “do not play” songs and a few “must play.” He delivered. The party did not stop, he mixed songs in perfectly, and moved effortlessly among the many different genres that we like. One of my cousins, who is a sound engineer, remarked, “this guy knows what he’s doing!”

In short, if you’re stressed about logistics or nervous about people dancing, hire Cris and take that stress out of the equation. He is someone you can trust and he will turn the wedding into a party.

Awesome DJ!

We got married at the beginning of February and used Red Velvet DJ for our reception. Our DJ was Cris, and he was outstanding. We gave him a short list of “have to play” songs, and he filled in the rest with essentially perfect music for the crowd and occasion. I don’t think there was a single moment where the dance floor was empty. Everything went well with the microphones for speeches, pacing, music, or volume, and he even checked on us occasionally throughout the night to make sure everything was going as we wanted. One thing we really appreciated was that he was able to blend in music suggestions from our guests! It really helped to make the night more personal and fun. Also, we went with a package that included the photobooth, and it was an absolute hit! Our guests had a ton of fun. Plus, we got a USB stick with copies of all the pictures, at the end of the night! We would definitely recommend Red Velvet DJ for anyone else looking for a wedding DJ!

Great DJ for our wedding

Cris did a great job DJing our wedding. He was professional throughout the planning process. He was able to answer our questions honestly without trying to upsell us. During the reception, he kept the program flowing smoothly. Our dancefloor was packed almost the entire night, and we got a ton of compliments on our music. Overall, working with Cris was easy, and we were very happy with the quality.

Perfect DJ for our NYE Wedding!

Cris was absolutely amazing and I am so, so happy we went with Red Velvet for our NYE wedding! High energy dj!

Cris was an awesome dj at our 9/28/2019 wedding! He played all my songs and then some! I loved that he didn’t insist on paying the whole song. He knew just when to transition into something else. He even let my brother press the air horn button! He was also a great emcee and kept the party moving. From our first meeting with Cris he had such a fun cool vibe. Everyone thought he was perfect for my wedding! He answered emails quickly and was great at communicating. I definitely recommend!!!

Highly recommend!

Red Velvet Entertainment was amazing to work with! Cris was one of the first vendors we booked with, over a year out from our wedding in May 2019. He was so easy to work with, and has obvious passion for is work as a DJ! He walked us through the process, and gave us all of the tools needed to build our playlists (and "no" playlists), as well as setting up the timeline for the event. His service is extremely affordable and straight forward, which was a breath of fresh air after researching MANY other larger, commercialized companies in the Chicago area. Cris is professional, easy to work with, communicative, reliable and outgoing - he kept the party going the whole night, and knew exactly when to transition into different songs. Winter Wedding

I highly recommend hiring Red Velvet DJ for your wedding! Cris was our DJ & Emcee, and we have nothing but good things to say about him! I planned the majority of our wedding on my own and he was hands down my favorite vendor to work with. He responded to my emails quickly, which helped a lot during the planning process. We only met once prior to our wedding, but it was more than enough. He followed up with us hours after meeting and even helped us fix our reception timeline to make the night flow better. The day of the wedding everything was excellent. We are extremely happy and grateful for the incredible work Cris did!

Red Velvet DJ deserves 10 stars!

Cris was always structured and helped us through all the planning. He had a detailed template for us to fill out regarding when and where to do things, make announcements, and dances. We were also able to write our notes into it (i.e get my mom on the dance floor for this one!), and then he actively engaged my guests throughout night. Seamless.

Per our request, he did classical acoustic on my way down the isle, two acoustic songs during the ceremony, and then an upbeat Jack Johnson song on our way out. Nailed it. Cris was SO MUCH FUN! He DJ'd the night away giving me the best night of my life to date. No doubt.

Cris is a professional and genuine person. A sincere pleasure to work with. You work with him once and he's a friend for a lifetime.

My wedding on 4/12/19

My wedding was on 4/12/19 and i hired Red Velvet DJ as our DJ & photo booth vendor. Cris (the owner of the company) was the DJ on our wedding day. He got all my guests on the dance floor and had I know they all had a great time. I am so glad that we had a chance to work with him. The whole process to plan for our wedding (music for ceremony and reception) was super easy. He did play all the songs that i picked.
The photobooth was so much fun. I loved the white backdrop that Cris recommended for us because it looks amazing on photos. He gave me an USB that has all digital photos that were taken from the photobooth and i'm pretty impressed by the quality of those photos.

I highly recommended new couples to hire Red Velvet DJ, especially Cris. He is such an amazing guy, super friendly and nice, easy to work with.

AWESOME experience with DJ Cris Cruz

Cris Cruz was our DJ for our wedding and we are SO glad we chose him for our big day!! He knew exactly when to play certain songs and kept the dance floor poppin throughout the whole night. Even weeks after the wedding, our guests are still telling us how great our DJ was and how much fun they had. During the initial planning process, Cris took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. He was always quick to respond to all our questions and listened/incorporated our requests for certain songs. All around - it was an absolute pleasure working with Cris. In our initial search for a DJ, we researched and met with many DJs around the area but right when we spoke with Cris - we knew we had to hire him. And we're so glad we did. Cris was AMAZING!!! We could not have found a better DJ to mix our styles of music together, from Hip Hop to Country to Jazz and back to Rap. If he is available for your wedding or event--BOOK HIM!!!!!!!Cris was literally my FAVORITE day-of vendor for my wedding. Though we had spoken on the phone and over email leading up to our wedding, I didn't meet him in person until I got to the venue before our ceremony. I had a great feeling about hiring Cris and Red Velvet from the start, but man did he exceed my expectations! He totally listened to our "do-not" playlist, and all of our requested songs. more importantly he stood up for me when some guests requested songs that we didn't want to play or if we weren't feeling the vibe of a guest-requested song, he looked to me to see if I wanted it to keep playing or not. Cris was personable, professional, and fun! He was the DJ that made the show, not a DJ who tried to be the show. (we interviewed a few that wanted to sing and preform...) so we were beyond thrilled with Red Velvet Entertainment!!! so many of my guests told me how much they loved his skills--so we are very VERY happy with our choice in choosing him!

Cris is an absolutely amazing DJ. We had an initial phone consultation in which we discussed the contract and pricing, and then had a details meeting about 2 weeks before our actual wedding. Cris is very personable and engaging which makes him a great MC. We filled out a details sheet beforehand with some requests and important songs to play during the ceremony, but otherwise let Cris be creative--he did such an amazing job and our dance floor was rocking! People were able to make live requests which he effortlessly worked into the current tempo he was playing. We really enjoyed working with him and would definitely recommend for your wedding. The wedding timeline was something I was struggling with and Cris offered to make a detailed timeline for us that I was able to share with all of our vendors and was much appreciated. He goes above and beyond and you won't regret hiring him!

Choosing a DJ was one of the most important decisions for us as we were wedding planning and Chris was everything we ever hoped for and more!! Chris kept the dance floor packed and was so accommodating in everything we asked for. When talking to our guests, everybody wanted to know more about the DJ because everyone thought he was absolutely amazing! My maid of honor is even planning to use him for her wedding in Wisconsin next year. Chris kept everything simple for us and allowed us to just enjoy both the planning process and the night itself. Cris was fantastic! We set up an initial meeting with him and right away we knew he was our guy! Cris was our DJ for the wedding and we couldn't be happier with the service! We could tell we made the right choice when we met with him for the first time. He was very attentive and outgoing; which is a huge for a DJ. During our wedding he kept us informed of when things would happen ( garter toss/ speeches and etc) throughout the night. Cris was an amazing DJ and MC. We had several meetings leading up to the wedding to discuss our playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as the program for introductions, speeches, and dances. He responds very fast and was able to answer any questions we had right away. He has a great MC voice too! Although we had several requests for songs, he was able to improvise the playlist based on the vibe and mood of the crowd. I would definitely recommend him for any wedding.

Cris Cruz was the DJ of our wedding reception/dance on October 28, 2017, and he absolutely crushed it! We only needed light MC-ing during the cocktail hour and dinner, and Cris did a great job keeping things moving without being intrusive. His tone is professional while being friendly and inviting at the same time (and as far as possible from the “obnoxious wedding DJ” we all try to avoid). The dance is really where Cris excelled. The flow, pacing, and song selection were all outstanding! Cris mixes everything live, so songs don’t simply fade-out/fade-in; he actually overlaps and mixes the songs so they blend one right into the next, which kept the dance floor packed all night! We are an American (groom) and Venezuelan (bride) couple, so our wedding had a mix of American and Latin guests, and Cris did such a good job employing a perfect variety of cultural influences and musical styles. In particular, Cris’s execution of La Hora Loca (a kind of “Carnival meets a wedding dance” Latin tradition) was amazing. We could not be happier with how our wedding dance turned out, and would absolutely recommend Cris to anyone looking for an awesome wedding dance and reception!

Is 6 stars an option? Because they deserve it - seriously. We worked with Red Velvet for DJ and lighting, and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Cris Cruz was our DJ and from the initial consultation through the day itself, he was warm, friendly, and most importantly, knew exactly how to keep the party moving and dancing. He played all of the songs we asked for and blended them well with other similar songs. Cris was 100% my favorite vendor to work with! Right from the beginning, he was extremely helpful and accommodating! We chose Cris because he included a lot with his services and because we could tell he would keep the night fun and organized. Cris was the DJ for my wedding and I couldn't have been more impressed. Right from the start, he was very quick with emails, had a simple planning form, and altered his COI for our venue fast. The day of the wedding, everything was set up perfectly, and he made sure to get everyone's name pronounced correctly. He played everything we wanted, took requests, and filled the rest of his set with real jams. Great on the mic too - a true pro, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

His set up looks professional and sophisticated. He was very helpful providing the projector screen and offering to do the name template that reflects on the wall. The music was great accommodating all ages to mix it up on the dance floor. He would know what songs to play next just by how the crowd is doing.

I have only great things to say about Cris with Red Velvet Entertainment. He was absolutely professional. I was lost on a recessional song and he had some great suggestions. Every step of the way, and throughout my wedding day, Cris was calm, helpful, and understanding. I made a few changes to things as the wedding day progressed and he handled everything smoothly and was absolutely the reason things flowed well. His pricing was straightforward and more than fair, I loved how easy it was to find the pricing on his website. We hired Red Velvet for our wedding and were absolutely impressed! Preparations beforehand were thorough and well organized, and it made the day of very stress-free. Even though we made last minute changes and additions, Red Velvet was extremely accommodating. The music during the reception was a great mix, and kept everybody dancing. The highlight of the night, however, was the karaoke! It kept the party going past that time where everybody is on the bubble about calling it a night or staying out. Red Velvet definitely made our special day, that much better!

I was married on 06-23-2017 and chose Cris for my DJ after talking and meeting with a bunch of other companies. I also booked their photo booth for my event. I can't imagine my wedding being as awesome as it was without him and his team. They were the life of the party. They interacted with my guests very well and got them up dancing, partying, and really enjoying themselves. The photo booth was a huge hit. No one had ever seen anything like it and there was a line to use it all night long, it is an amazing memory. I would recommend Cris & Red Velvet everyday of the week, they are the BEST.

My husband and I have seen Red Velvet Entertainment DJ at our friends' weddings. Of course, when our wedding came along, we only wanted Red Velvet. And we could not have been more impressed with the professionalism and the quality of service Cris has shown from the very beginning. RED VELVET IS FANTASTIC! Absolute professionals. So grateful for Chris and his work at our wedding. We had a blast. A ton of compliments from our guests. He goes above and beyond with the service.

Everything was on point. It’s great knowing we had professionals handing all lighting and audio. The music before the reception, during dinner, and at the dance was perfect. They have the experience to keep everything moving without feeling rushed.

With general wedding planning stress, it’s great to have peace of mind. Awesome investment. We absolutely recommend Red Velvet Entertainment!

From the first time I spoke with Cris, I realized he was very professional and responsible person, I also realized he was very knowledgeable and fun. He carefully listened to us, and made sure we were on the same page. he was also very patient with my guest's requests on the wedding day. I recommend him 100%. He is very easygoing and friendly.

Red Velvet DJ, and specifically Chris, were fantastic to work with. By far the best value for money vendor of our entire wedding. The prices were incredibly reasonable but it was really the service, responsiveness, and desire to make our event a success that made our experience exceptional. Chris did a fantastic job of getting all the groups at our wedding on the dance floor - everyone commented on the quality of the music and had a blast. Chris also had tunes for the cocktail hour / dinner and did a great job aligning with the vibe we wanted to set at each point in the wedding. Finally, Chris was very flexible and was willing to go late when we decided to extend our wedding by 30 minutes last minute. THANK YOU for making our wedding so wonderful!

Choosing Red Velvet for our wedding ceremony and reception was one of the best things we did for our wedding to make it memorable for us an all of our guests. Our wedding ceremony was outdoors and our reception was in a tent. Everyone told us how they were able to hear the music and pastor speak during the ceremony which was very impressive! Chris did a great job at being professional and keeping the party going. We had a great time at our wedding and have been told by many guests how wonderful it was, much thanks to Chris and Red Velvet Entertainment!

I went on a limb and decided on Chris for my wedding dj. I was a little worried about picking a dj in general. I have to say I was very satisfied with my decision to go with Chris! He responded very promptly with my emails. He helped me with how to do the layout/ how to set up my wedding reception! My guests raved about how great of a dj he was! I strongly recommend him!

Booking Red Velvet DJ for our wedding was a great choice! We got so much bang for our buck. We chose the all-inclusive package, which gave us unlimited time with our DJ (ceremony, cocktail and reception) and he brought all of his own equipment. Cris was awesome to work with. In addition to having great taste in music and being super attentive about our timeline and song choices, he's just a really sweet and down-to-earth person. He spoke with us over the phone prior to the wedding and had us fill out a worksheet with all our info and preferences so he could tailor his set to our tastes. He has a laid-back air about him and his announcements were neither cheesy nor attention-seeking, which we really appreciated. Our guests had the BEST time dancing to his set, we got lots of compliments on our song choices :) Thanks Cris!

Our wedding was on November 11th and we booked Cris from Red Velvet Entertainment as our DJ. He was absolutely fantastic to work with! He got our vibe right away and was even able to recommend music that we liked for parts of the event where we weren't sure what to play when had our planning meeting with him. He was also very accommodating and was able to pull up songs that we had discovered from various youtube channels. He was also fantastic for reading the crowd and was able to mix in songs that pleased everybody. Our dance floor was never empty and folks who I never expected to get up and dance were up there with us. I can't recommend Cris enough - if you book him you will not be disappointed!

Red Velvet Entertainment was by far the best choice of vendors for our wedding! Our DJ, Cris did an amazing job from start to finish. He was the perfect balance of professional yet personable and we had the best time at our reception. The dance floor was full and all of our friends and family complimented us on our choice, letting us know they had never met a DJ that wasn't cheesy-until our wedding!! I trusted Cris completely with our reception and he made me feel so relaxed with the planning-something a bride to be definitely needs to feel! His company provided us with amazing service and we will always remember how magical our reception was thanks to him.

Cris handled the music for our October 2016 wedding ceremony and reception. We booked him through Madison Mobile DJ Service and we didn't know that Cris would be our specific DJ until about a month before our wedding. After talking with him on the phone for the first time, I immediately felt put at ease and confident about the work he would do. I was initially a little nervous about how the ceremony music would go (since we wouldn't be able to do a rehearsal that included the music), but he asked for detailed information and was quick to respond to any questions I had which I very much appreciated. He also took into consideration our song requests for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He did a fantastic job; the ceremony went off without a hitch and the dance floor was full all night!

Cris is totally awesome and personable! We added songs to our playlist up until the day before the wedding and he played them all. My guests raved about him at breakfast the next morning. He gives a checklist to make sure you don't forget any details which was super helpful because, let's be honest, for most people it IS our first wedding and you really don't think about what song you want to hear while you are cutting your cake! I highly recommend using Red Velvet!!

Cris did such a great job as our DJ! He is very professional and easy to work with! He was quick to reply back to our emails and was very helpful with all of our questions. He provided the music for our ceremony, and was there early and setup on time. The ceremony went smoothly. We didn't have a specific song list for our cocktail hour or dinner and left it up to him to play whatever he felt was good; he definitely did not disappoint! We were very happy with the song selection he played. Cris was also very good with adhering to the program time during the reception, even when there were a few "unplanned additions", he handled it very well. When it was time for open dancing, he played music that got all of our guests up and dancing al night. Our guests (even weeks after our wedding was over) kept telling us how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the music. He also provided the monogram lighting which added a nice touch to our venue space. We HIGHLY recommend Cris! We promise you will not be disappointed!!

Chris worked well with us to make our reception great. He is full of encouragement and great suggestions, giving us guidance on how to put into order everything we would like to include in our reception and musical suggestions that worked incredibly as dinner music. I recommend Cris to everyone, as I'm still impressed with him, his personality, and his work even a year later!

My family has had a long history with Cris from Red Velvet Entertainment and he has never once failed to impress. He was my sister’s DJ for her wedding a few years earlier and received praise from many of our guests. When it came time for my wedding, there was no question that I would sign with Red Velvet.

Cris is incredibly professional. He took the time to meet with me and my fiancé in our home to go over our reception program, lists of songs, and general tone of our party. As a Master of Ceremonies, he is a natural. Cris took the time to make sure he was announcing every name in our wedding party correctly. From the entourage, to the cake cutting, to the speeches, to the father-daughter dance and more he kept the program running smooth and seamlessly (which was a huge relief to a nervous bride).

The music was a huge hit with the dance floor full the entire night. Cris can play songs good for every generation so that not only my friends can dance on the dance floor but my parents and grandparents can dance and enjoy as well.

I truly believe in Cris’ talent as a DJ and I’d recommend him to anyone. Thanks Cris!

Stop Looking for DJs

Stop looking for Dj's. Now. Reall though... I mean it.

Cris and Red Velvet were amazing. Hands down one of the best decisions we made when it came to our big day. My husband was the one who chose Cris and Red Velvet and I am so glad he did.

Chis was responsive but not overbearing through the planning processes and when it came down to details we had a 15 min call and he was good to go. I was honestly skeptical. 15 min? is he going to get names right? Are we sure he understands our style? YES. YES. YES. Cris read the room all night while still paying everything we requested. In addition, he was a great MC. He was on the dance floor when appropriate, Kept my husband and I in the loop on what was happening next. I could not have asked for a better wedding DJ.

for those of you still looking stop here. Our dance floor was full from the beginning to the end of the evening. A month later people are still talking about what a great wedding it was.
