    Red Hook is hands down the best band I've ever heard play at a wedding. They played at a friend's wedding and I knew immediately that I wanted them to play at my wedding. In fact, we, in part, chose the date based on the band's availability. They are so energetic, engaging and enthusiastic, enticing everyone to dancing and making it hard for people to leave the dance floor, playing one great song after another. I would 100% recommend this band. You won't regret it.

    Incredible band! We had them for our wedding after seeing them at a friend's, and we strongly recommend them for anybody. The best way I can describe them is relentless! They play hard and never stop. They don't break for slow songs; they just keep the party going. Truly the best band.

    The Red Hook Orchestra played at our wedding a few weeks ago at The Loeb Central Park Boathouse. They were fantastic! During the wedding and after we had numerous guests from different generations tell us how great the music was at our wedding. My father's law firm partner even remarked that the band somehow knew to play his favorite songs! Having them play at our wedding was like having a private concert for our close friends and family. The band and their manager, Jamie, were also incredibly easy to work with and very responsive during the planning process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

    My husband and I have nothing but positive words for this band and their manager Jamie. We were able to hear them play at showcase in New York and immediately were drawn to their energy and talent. Jamie was always available on email and phone and incredibly patient with us through what is a rather stressful time. The band learned some of our favorite songs and performed them, honoring the original sound with a small Red Hook twist. The dance floor was packed and if it wasn't for the local noise ordinance laws we would have had them play into the wee hours of the morning. This is a group of truly talented musicians and not your typical wedding band. I promise you they will knock your wedding socks off...oh and we really encourage adding their brass players to the mix!

    These guys are fabulous! They rocked our daughter's wedding from beginning to end. Our guests raved about them all evening, expressing how they were the best band they had ever heard. Everyone was on their feet dancing all night. Jamie, the band's manager was great to work with. He answered questions, whether by phone or email, immediately. They made the wedding! I highly recommend them!

    These guys absolutely rocked our wedding! What an absolute dance party. The dance floor was completely packed from the first dance to the last tune. Complete with an encore. Not your typical wedding fare either, lots of classic rock, soul and R&B. If you're looking for an alternative to the typical mix and match wedding band, these guys are it. Totally cool dudes playing the best tunes. The energy was through the roof the whole time. Everyone was dancing! The guys are insanely talented and we could not have asked for a better group to take our wedding to the next level. They 100% made our wedding. We've heard from many of our guests that they were the best wedding band they've ever heard and I would totally agree. They were also a pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

    Highest praise to the Red Hook Orchestra for its extraordinary contribution to my guitar-master son and his (now) wife’s Cornell wedding Saturday. The band was fantastic in every respect: the musicianship, the choice of playlist, emcee Peter Bagale’s tone, the musicians’ spirit and eagerness to please. Our guests, many of them musicians, danced and raved. From the minute I met Peter in the chapel to the very last dance, the RHO musicians and their contribution to our wedding far exceeded my expectations. It definitely was worth importing the RHO from NYC to Ithaca. The band was a big reason our Cornell wedding weekend was a grand success. RHO gets my unreserved endorsement.

    Red Hook Orchestra is the best!! They played at our wedding in Philly at the end of May last year and absolutely made the party what it was! Guests are all still raving about what an amazing band we had. The dance floor was packed from the moment they started playing and stayed packed the entire night! Jamie was great with communication and plans prior to the date — definitely one of the easiest vendors we dealt with. We had them learn a few songs for our night and all of them were perfect — they even learned a bit of country for our first dance! We would highly recommend Red Hook Orchestra to anyone looking for an amazing band in the Philly/New York area!

    Red Hook Orchestra rocked our wedding! They were so easy to work with and listened to all our requests for music that we never had to worry about music or our song playlist. I know everyone says this but we got so many compliments on the band, including at a wedding recently where they had one of the more expensive Hank Lane bands. Compared to HL, Red Hook is way more affordable and in my opinion, way better. These guys LOVE playing music together and it shows.

    After our wedding, one of the most frequent comments I got from our guests was, "wow, the band at the reception was amazing!" They definitely were. Playing a mixture of rock and pop hits from the 60s through today, they appealed to both our youngest and oldest guests, and kept everyone on the dance floor. And they did this without playing the Macarena, the chicken dance or the electric slide. (Though they'd probably play those of you asked them nicely :-) Throughout the planning process they were accessible, professional and prompt to respond to emails. They are pricey, especially when compared to a DJ, but if you know you want a fantastic band, they are a great value.     A friend recommended Red Hook Orchestra to us after they played her sister's wedding. We were looking for an alternative to a standard wedding band and this was it! The dance floor was packed the entire night and even my 88 year old grandmother didn't want to sit. The band had a really cool vibe and definitely made our wedding memorable for everyone. All our friends have been asking for our band's info either for themselves or to recommend to others. They made our wedding and we strongly recommend them - If they're available do not pass on this band.

    This band is the best, everyone loved them 13 to 80 years old, no one stopped dancing. They know how to throw a party!

    Red Hook Orchestra was phenomenal and the perfect choice to play at our wedding. First off, these guys are just cool. They work with you to come up with a dream playlist and are willing to learn new songs. Second, they are awesome and know how to keep a dance floor going. We had a freak issue where the reception basically stopped for 20-30 minutes because a guest collapsed and we had to wait for an ambulance... the band got the party going again in no time. It has been several months since our wedding at this point and friends still remark how great our band was! Red Hook Orchestra is an awesome choice.

    Two years later and our wedding guests are still talking about the amazing band from our wedding! Our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last! There were very few, if any guests, who didn't get downright sweaty dancing to Red Hook's amazing sets. These guys are wildly talented and real experts at what they do. They were extremely friendly and easy to work with and truly the highlight of our wedding. Bonus points for also being fun, cool people to hang out with. I've recommended them to several friends and have attended other weddings where they have performed and they are by far the best wedding band out there.
